Yasir Qadhi – Aspects Unique To Only The Prophet Muhammad

Yasir Qadhi
AI: Summary © The speaker discusses various genres of Islam, including the title of Sira, Shamaal, DalaGeneration, and Fada serving. They also provide examples of famous books and people on the topic. The discussion then focuses on the genre of Islam, which is a subset of the fadawa, and the importance of the Prophet's shia--like nature. The speaker emphasizes the exclusivity of certain events and the success of the Prophet's water haud in shape.

Our Prophet, salallahu alaihi wasallam,

00:00:04 --> 00:00:06

is the most beloved person in all of

00:00:06 --> 00:00:09

human history. And when he left this earth,

00:00:09 --> 00:00:12

the Sahaba and Tabi'un and the later generations

00:00:12 --> 00:00:12

began

00:00:13 --> 00:00:16

writing about him. The first book of Sira,

00:00:16 --> 00:00:18

the first treaties of Sira was actually written

00:00:18 --> 00:00:21

by the sons of the Sahaba. They wrote

00:00:21 --> 00:00:23

it for their own records. And eventually, ibn

00:00:23 --> 00:00:25

Hisham comes along, ibn Ishaq comes along, and

00:00:25 --> 00:00:28

he takes it from the sons and the

00:00:28 --> 00:00:29

grandsons of the Sahaba.

00:00:29 --> 00:00:31

But it wasn't just the life and times

00:00:31 --> 00:00:34

that our scholars wrote about. And today, I'm

00:00:34 --> 00:00:35

gonna introduce you to one

00:00:36 --> 00:00:36

genre,

00:00:37 --> 00:00:39

one subset of the writings that our scholars

00:00:39 --> 00:00:42

have done and talk a little bit about

00:00:42 --> 00:00:44

that. So to give you a brief overview,

00:00:45 --> 00:00:47

Seera is, of course, the chronological

00:00:48 --> 00:00:50

incidence of what happened to the Prophet sallallahu

00:00:50 --> 00:00:51

alaihi wasallam.

00:00:51 --> 00:00:54

But it wasn't the only subject that our

00:00:54 --> 00:00:56

scholars were interested in.

00:00:56 --> 00:00:59

And very early on, they began writing in

00:00:59 --> 00:01:02

other subjects and fields about our prophet, salaam,

00:01:02 --> 00:01:03

as well. So for example,

00:01:04 --> 00:01:05

one of the genres

00:01:06 --> 00:01:08

of about of writing about the process is

00:01:08 --> 00:01:09

called Shama'il.

00:01:09 --> 00:01:11

And the most famous book of Shama'il is

00:01:11 --> 00:01:14

by Imam Atir Midi. So Imam Atirmidhi, who

00:01:14 --> 00:01:16

wrote the famous sunan, he wrote a book

00:01:16 --> 00:01:19

as Shamal. And there are over a dozen

00:01:19 --> 00:01:21

books about Shamal. What is Shamal?

00:01:21 --> 00:01:22

Shamail

00:01:22 --> 00:01:24

are the physical

00:01:24 --> 00:01:28

characteristics of the prophet, salaam, and his akhlaq

00:01:28 --> 00:01:29

and mannerisms,

00:01:29 --> 00:01:31

and his possessions.

00:01:32 --> 00:01:34

Shamal will talk about his plate.

00:01:34 --> 00:01:36

We'll talk about his clothes. We'll talk about

00:01:36 --> 00:01:39

his ring. We'll talk about his sword. This

00:01:39 --> 00:01:40

is the genre of shama'il.

00:01:40 --> 00:01:42

So many books written.

00:01:42 --> 00:01:45

Another genre that's not our genre today, another

00:01:45 --> 00:01:46

genre

00:01:47 --> 00:01:49

that scholars wrote about. It is called dala'il.

00:01:50 --> 00:01:51

Dala'il and Nabuwa.

00:01:52 --> 00:01:55

Dala'il and Nabuwa, the proofs of prophethood.

00:01:55 --> 00:01:57

How do you know he's a prophet? So

00:01:57 --> 00:01:58

people began writing

00:01:59 --> 00:01:59

treatises

00:02:00 --> 00:02:01

called Dala'ilun

00:02:01 --> 00:02:04

Naboo'ah. And the largest and most famous position

00:02:04 --> 00:02:06

by Imam al Bayhaqqi, he died 458

00:02:07 --> 00:02:09

hijrah, it is in 12 volumes.

00:02:09 --> 00:02:12

Dalahilun Nubuwa. How do you know he's a

00:02:12 --> 00:02:13

prophet, salallahu alayhi wa sallam?

00:02:13 --> 00:02:17

Of every single miracle in the whole sirrah.

00:02:17 --> 00:02:19

So the water coming from his hands, small

00:02:19 --> 00:02:22

amount of food being made, a lot,

00:02:22 --> 00:02:25

the Shaqal Qamar incident. All of these things

00:02:25 --> 00:02:28

are reported in these books called

00:02:28 --> 00:02:29

dala'il.

00:02:29 --> 00:02:30

But that too is not our talk for

00:02:30 --> 00:02:32

today. I wanna introduce to all these genres

00:02:32 --> 00:02:34

so that you know. Right? So we talked

00:02:34 --> 00:02:36

about how many genres so far?

00:02:36 --> 00:02:37

No. Number 1 is?

00:02:38 --> 00:02:40

Sira. The number 1 sira, the many books

00:02:40 --> 00:02:41

of Sira. Number 2?

00:02:42 --> 00:02:43

Shamail. Number 3?

00:02:44 --> 00:02:47

Dalail. Okay. Number 4, and that's still not

00:02:47 --> 00:02:47

our topic.

00:02:48 --> 00:02:49

Number 2 4,

00:02:52 --> 00:02:52

Fada'ilunubuwa.

00:02:53 --> 00:02:54

Fada'ilunubuwa

00:02:54 --> 00:02:55

means

00:02:55 --> 00:02:57

what are the blessings our Prophet, salallahu alayhi

00:02:57 --> 00:02:58

wa sallam, has?

00:02:59 --> 00:03:01

What are the things that Allah gave him

00:03:01 --> 00:03:03

that makes him fadilah,

00:03:03 --> 00:03:05

that makes him blessed? And this is another

00:03:05 --> 00:03:08

genre. We have so many books in this.

00:03:08 --> 00:03:11

And perhaps the most famous one is Ashifa

00:03:11 --> 00:03:12

by Al Khad Iyal. Maybe you have heard

00:03:12 --> 00:03:14

of it, and it is translated to English.

00:03:14 --> 00:03:16

But that's also our also our genre for

00:03:16 --> 00:03:18

today. We're gonna jump to another one, and

00:03:18 --> 00:03:21

that will be our genre for today. And

00:03:21 --> 00:03:22

that is a very

00:03:22 --> 00:03:24

rare book to be written about. There's probably

00:03:25 --> 00:03:27

less than half a dozen in all of

00:03:27 --> 00:03:28

early and medieval Islam, but in our times

00:03:28 --> 00:03:30

people have raised the topic more because it

00:03:30 --> 00:03:31

is a subset

00:03:32 --> 00:03:33

of the fada'il.

00:03:33 --> 00:03:34

It's a subset,

00:03:34 --> 00:03:35

and that is

00:03:36 --> 00:03:37

hasa isunnubuwa.

00:03:38 --> 00:03:39

That's our topic for today.

00:03:40 --> 00:03:40

Hasa isunnuwa.

00:03:41 --> 00:03:43

And what is hasa is sunnabooah?

00:03:43 --> 00:03:45

Hasa is sunnabooah

00:03:45 --> 00:03:46

is

00:03:46 --> 00:03:48

those aspects

00:03:48 --> 00:03:49

that are unique

00:03:50 --> 00:03:52

to our Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:03:53 --> 00:03:55

Nobody else has them.

00:03:55 --> 00:03:57

That's not the same as fada'il. Fadila, there's

00:03:57 --> 00:03:59

lots of fadilas he has and other prophets

00:03:59 --> 00:04:01

have. Right? Khasa is,

00:04:03 --> 00:04:03

unique.

00:04:04 --> 00:04:07

Hasa is only he has it. And this

00:04:07 --> 00:04:08

genre,

00:04:08 --> 00:04:10

it took a while to start writing about

00:04:10 --> 00:04:11

because it's actually

00:04:12 --> 00:04:14

the earliest scholars didn't have full treaties on

00:04:14 --> 00:04:16

it. Perhaps the first one to write a

00:04:16 --> 00:04:17

treatise is,

00:04:17 --> 00:04:21

Al Izz, Al Izz Abdulsalam who died 660

00:04:21 --> 00:04:23

hijra. He was one of the first to

00:04:23 --> 00:04:25

write, and in fact, the book is literally

00:04:25 --> 00:04:28

like 50 pages. It's a treatise. It's not

00:04:28 --> 00:04:30

a massive book. But once the idea

00:04:31 --> 00:04:34

was created, subhanAllah, it's like a domino effect.

00:04:34 --> 00:04:37

Once al-'izz wrote the book, then people became

00:04:37 --> 00:04:39

eager, and they began writing and began researching

00:04:40 --> 00:04:42

that what are the khasa'is of Nabuwa. So

00:04:42 --> 00:04:43

we have ibn Muraqin,

00:04:44 --> 00:04:46

right, to bigger treaties. Al Hafid ibn Hajjjad

00:04:46 --> 00:04:48

at 840 Hijra. He wrote an even bigger

00:04:48 --> 00:04:51

volume until finally the great polymath and the

00:04:51 --> 00:04:54

great author, perhaps the author who has written

00:04:54 --> 00:04:56

the most volumes in all of Islamic history,

00:04:56 --> 00:04:58

Jalaluddin al Suyuti, who died 911,

00:04:59 --> 00:05:02

Hijra, 9 11 Hijra. So Jalaluddin al Suyuti,

00:05:02 --> 00:05:05

he wrote a massive book called Al Khasa'is

00:05:05 --> 00:05:06

Al Kubra,

00:05:06 --> 00:05:09

the big Khasa'is book. In all of early

00:05:09 --> 00:05:11

Islam, nobody wrote a book larger than Imam

00:05:11 --> 00:05:14

al Suyuti. And then after him, recent times,

00:05:14 --> 00:05:17

people have written PhDs, dissertations, whatnot. So this

00:05:17 --> 00:05:19

is the genre I wanna share some light

00:05:19 --> 00:05:22

on. Because obviously, you know, we all love

00:05:22 --> 00:05:23

the sierra. I love the sierra. I love

00:05:23 --> 00:05:25

to research. I love to read, and I

00:05:25 --> 00:05:27

love to conceptualize what the past has been

00:05:27 --> 00:05:29

done and what we can do. So we

00:05:29 --> 00:05:30

can divide

00:05:30 --> 00:05:32

by the way, this is a quick lecture.

00:05:32 --> 00:05:35

The reality is, kasa'is would take many hours.

00:05:35 --> 00:05:36

We cannot do all of them. I wanna

00:05:36 --> 00:05:37

introduce you the idea.

00:05:38 --> 00:05:39

We can divide

00:05:40 --> 00:05:42

the khasa'is of the prophet, salaam, into 3

00:05:42 --> 00:05:44

large categories, and I'll give you examples from

00:05:44 --> 00:05:46

all 3. But, again, I'm making the disclaimer

00:05:46 --> 00:05:48

this is not a full list because it's

00:05:48 --> 00:05:50

just a khatir rafter isham. Okay? So we

00:05:50 --> 00:05:53

can divide the hasa'is of the prophet, salaam,

00:05:53 --> 00:05:54

into 3 categories.

00:05:54 --> 00:05:56

Category number 1,

00:05:56 --> 00:06:00

those things that out of his ummah,

00:06:00 --> 00:06:03

only he was allowed and not the rest

00:06:03 --> 00:06:05

of his ummah. So a privilege for him,

00:06:06 --> 00:06:07

and we're not comparing him with the other

00:06:07 --> 00:06:08

prophets.

00:06:09 --> 00:06:10

Just for him,

00:06:10 --> 00:06:12

amongst the rest of the ummah. He has

00:06:13 --> 00:06:13

kasa'is.

00:06:14 --> 00:06:16

This is category 1. And some of these

00:06:16 --> 00:06:19

are fiqhi kasa'is, and some of these are

00:06:19 --> 00:06:20

theological kasa'is.

00:06:20 --> 00:06:21

So for example,

00:06:21 --> 00:06:22

of the khassa'is

00:06:23 --> 00:06:25

nubuwa, that is in category 1. Remember there's

00:06:25 --> 00:06:27

3 categories, so don't lose track. Category 1

00:06:27 --> 00:06:28

of the khassa'is.

00:06:29 --> 00:06:31

This microphone keeps on falling off. Of the

00:06:31 --> 00:06:32

kasa'is, number 1.

00:06:33 --> 00:06:35

Allah has said to him,

00:06:35 --> 00:06:37

you don't need any protection.

00:06:37 --> 00:06:38

I will protect you.

00:06:39 --> 00:06:41

Wallahu youasimu kaminan

00:06:41 --> 00:06:44

nas. It is said in Sunanat Tirmidi that,

00:06:45 --> 00:06:47

in fact, the the Sahaba would volunteer to

00:06:47 --> 00:06:49

bodyguard the Prophet, salallahu alaihi wa sallam, in

00:06:49 --> 00:06:51

Makkah. When Allah revealed this verse,

00:06:52 --> 00:06:53

the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam lifted his

00:06:53 --> 00:06:55

curtain, his house, and there was Abu Ayyub

00:06:55 --> 00:06:58

and other standing, not Abu yub, Abu Sa'id.

00:06:58 --> 00:07:00

And he said to them, don't worry,

00:07:00 --> 00:07:02

Allah has said he will protect me. I

00:07:02 --> 00:07:04

don't need you anymore. No need to volunteer

00:07:04 --> 00:07:05

as bodyguards.

00:07:05 --> 00:07:07

So the prophet salallahu alaihi wasalam has been

00:07:07 --> 00:07:08

divinely protected.

00:07:09 --> 00:07:11

In that. What does it mean? Nobody can

00:07:11 --> 00:07:13

hurt him? Nobody can abuse him? Nobody can

00:07:13 --> 00:07:16

physically pain him? No. Nobody can kill him.

00:07:17 --> 00:07:19

This is what the protection is. He will

00:07:19 --> 00:07:19

never

00:07:20 --> 00:07:21

be assassinated

00:07:21 --> 00:07:24

by anybody in this dunya. Allah will protect

00:07:24 --> 00:07:27

him. And throughout the Sirah, he was physically

00:07:27 --> 00:07:28

harmed.

00:07:28 --> 00:07:31

He was pushed. Astaghfirullah, people spat on him.

00:07:31 --> 00:07:33

The Quraysh threw the animal on him. He

00:07:33 --> 00:07:34

was hurt.

00:07:34 --> 00:07:35

But anytime

00:07:36 --> 00:07:39

somebody actually tried to kill him, what happened?

00:07:39 --> 00:07:40

Miracle.

00:07:41 --> 00:07:41

Anytime

00:07:42 --> 00:07:42

somebody

00:07:43 --> 00:07:45

move beyond physical

00:07:45 --> 00:07:46

to assassination

00:07:47 --> 00:07:49

and there's at least 4 or 5 assassination

00:07:49 --> 00:07:49

attempts,

00:07:50 --> 00:07:51

every single time, unscathed.

00:07:52 --> 00:07:55

Never, not a hair on his head touched

00:07:55 --> 00:07:57

when the assassination attempt was done. This is

00:07:57 --> 00:07:59

a khasa'is, khasisa.

00:07:59 --> 00:08:01

Another khasisa, another khausting

00:08:01 --> 00:08:02

is that

00:08:03 --> 00:08:05

the prophet shalallahu alaihi wa sallam's shaitan embraced

00:08:05 --> 00:08:06

Islam.

00:08:06 --> 00:08:08

Kaleen. The Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam shaitan,

00:08:08 --> 00:08:09

you know, everyone's born in a shaitan kaleen.

00:08:09 --> 00:08:10

Right?

00:08:11 --> 00:08:13

When they ask, You Rasulullah, you also have

00:08:13 --> 00:08:15

a kaleen? He goes, Yes, I have a

00:08:15 --> 00:08:17

kaleen too. I also have a kareen, but

00:08:17 --> 00:08:20

my kareen embraced Islam. This is a khas

00:08:20 --> 00:08:22

for him. Another thing, khas for him, for

00:08:22 --> 00:08:24

our Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam,

00:08:24 --> 00:08:25

is that

00:08:25 --> 00:08:28

because he is, his kareen has embraced Islam,

00:08:28 --> 00:08:32

and because the shayateen cannot imitate him, whoever

00:08:32 --> 00:08:34

sees him in a dream has seen him

00:08:34 --> 00:08:36

as if in real. No

00:08:37 --> 00:08:39

Shaytan can pretend to be him. This is

00:08:39 --> 00:08:42

kas to him. Whereas if you see anybody

00:08:42 --> 00:08:44

else, maybe you saw that person, maybe it's

00:08:44 --> 00:08:47

your imagination, you didn't actually see him, or

00:08:47 --> 00:08:50

maybe it's saqfrola, impersonation, not for the prophet,

00:08:50 --> 00:08:52

salallahu alayhi wasalam. Another khaz for the prophet,

00:08:52 --> 00:08:54

salallahu alayhi wa sallam, the fiqh issue. You're

00:08:54 --> 00:08:57

not allowed to call him by his name

00:08:57 --> 00:08:59

or his kunya. It's not allowed.

00:09:00 --> 00:09:02

Right? Allah says in the Quran,

00:09:02 --> 00:09:04

latajalu du'aar, suribaneikungkaduAAaba'oodukumba'ooda.

00:09:06 --> 00:09:08

Don't call the prophet, salallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:09:08 --> 00:09:09

like you call each other. So it is

00:09:09 --> 00:09:10

not

00:09:10 --> 00:09:12

allowed for any Muslim

00:09:12 --> 00:09:14

to say astaghfirullah in front of his face.

00:09:14 --> 00:09:17

You Muhammad or You abal Qasim. Not allowed.

00:09:17 --> 00:09:18

We say, You Rasulullah,

00:09:19 --> 00:09:21

You Nabi Yalla. We call him by his

00:09:21 --> 00:09:23

title. So it is not allowed.

00:09:23 --> 00:09:26

Another khas of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam,

00:09:26 --> 00:09:29

and there's many examples here, is the status

00:09:29 --> 00:09:30

of our mothers.

00:09:30 --> 00:09:33

So he was allowed more than any other

00:09:33 --> 00:09:36

person is allowed. Those wives that become his

00:09:36 --> 00:09:39

wives, they have a special status of hijab,

00:09:39 --> 00:09:41

they have a special status of idah, they

00:09:41 --> 00:09:43

have a special status of not getting married.

00:09:43 --> 00:09:44

So overall,

00:09:44 --> 00:09:47

our mothers have a special khas that no

00:09:47 --> 00:09:50

one else has. Another khasa'is of the Prophet,

00:09:50 --> 00:09:52

salallahu alayhi wasalam, that no other person has

00:09:52 --> 00:09:55

is that the Angel of death has to

00:09:55 --> 00:09:57

ask permission to take his life.

00:09:57 --> 00:09:59

The angel of death has to ask his

00:09:59 --> 00:10:02

permission. Another khasa'is is that he will be

00:10:02 --> 00:10:04

buried where he passes away.

00:10:05 --> 00:10:07

And another khasa'is, we'll conclude with this, move

00:10:07 --> 00:10:09

on to the second one. Another khasa'is

00:10:10 --> 00:10:12

is the earth will not,

00:10:13 --> 00:10:13

will not

00:10:14 --> 00:10:15

eat his body. You all know this one.

00:10:15 --> 00:10:17

So did some of the khasa is that

00:10:17 --> 00:10:20

belong to him without his ummah. The second

00:10:20 --> 00:10:20

category.

00:10:20 --> 00:10:23

The second category, the khasa is given to

00:10:23 --> 00:10:24

him alone

00:10:25 --> 00:10:28

in, above all the other prophets that are

00:10:28 --> 00:10:30

related to this world. In this world, what

00:10:30 --> 00:10:33

is unique to him? And the 3rd category,

00:10:33 --> 00:10:35

in the akhira, what is unique to him?

00:10:35 --> 00:10:38

Okay. So the 2nd and third category are

00:10:38 --> 00:10:40

higher than the first one. So what is

00:10:40 --> 00:10:43

unique to him that no other prophet before

00:10:43 --> 00:10:45

him was given? Number 1,

00:10:46 --> 00:10:49

Allah promised to protect his revelation.

00:10:50 --> 00:10:50

Inna nahunulazalazikra

00:10:51 --> 00:10:52

wa innalahu

00:10:53 --> 00:10:55

the hafidun. The Quran is protected,

00:10:56 --> 00:10:59

cover to cover. The Quran is preserved beginning

00:10:59 --> 00:11:02

to end. This is a fundamental aspect of

00:11:02 --> 00:11:05

our aqidah. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala promised to

00:11:05 --> 00:11:08

protect it. As for other books,

00:11:08 --> 00:11:10

Allah did not promise to protect them. And

00:11:10 --> 00:11:13

Allah says in the Quran, warrabani walalahbaroo

00:11:13 --> 00:11:14

bimastuhhfildoomin

00:11:15 --> 00:11:15

kitabilahi.

00:11:16 --> 00:11:18

The rabbis and the priests, they were the

00:11:18 --> 00:11:19

ones who

00:11:19 --> 00:11:22

attempted to protect the book that Allah gave

00:11:22 --> 00:11:22

them.

00:11:24 --> 00:11:28

Rabbaniunawalahbarbi mastuhfiduminkitabilah. Rabbanis and Ahbars were the ones

00:11:28 --> 00:11:32

who protected Allah's book, and they failed. As

00:11:32 --> 00:11:33

for the Quran,

00:11:34 --> 00:11:36

So this is another,

00:11:36 --> 00:11:40

khasisa only given to him. Another, yani khasiyya

00:11:40 --> 00:11:43

given to him is that the Quran itself,

00:11:43 --> 00:11:46

we can say, has many unique things, and

00:11:46 --> 00:11:48

there are many ahadith under this. Again, I'm

00:11:48 --> 00:11:50

gonna be very quick here. So for example,

00:11:50 --> 00:11:50

the prophet said

00:11:51 --> 00:11:53

that Surat al Fatiha has not given been

00:11:53 --> 00:11:55

given to any other prophet. There's nothing like

00:11:55 --> 00:11:57

Surat al Fatiha. For example, the prophet salallahu

00:11:57 --> 00:11:59

alayhi wa sallam said that kawateem, Surat Al

00:11:59 --> 00:12:02

Baqarah, is coming straight from the arshah of

00:12:02 --> 00:12:05

ar Rahman, and no other revelation has kawateem,

00:12:05 --> 00:12:07

surat Al Baqarah. For example, the prophet shalallahu

00:12:07 --> 00:12:08

alaihi wa sallam said that I have been

00:12:08 --> 00:12:11

given the 7 long surahs instead of the

00:12:11 --> 00:12:13

tawra, and I have been given the mien

00:12:13 --> 00:12:16

surahs instead of the zabur, and I have

00:12:16 --> 00:12:18

been given the mathani instead of the injeel,

00:12:18 --> 00:12:20

and I have been preferred with the mufasa,

00:12:20 --> 00:12:22

this is a deep hadith here. In other

00:12:22 --> 00:12:24

words, in the Quran, you have the tawra,

00:12:24 --> 00:12:27

zabud, injeel, and you have more. You have

00:12:27 --> 00:12:29

all that is needed, and you have more.

00:12:29 --> 00:12:31

This is a Khasa for our Prophet Sallallahu

00:12:32 --> 00:12:35

Alaihi Wasallam. Of the specialties given to him

00:12:35 --> 00:12:36

is that he is obviously

00:12:36 --> 00:12:37

khatamulambiya.

00:12:38 --> 00:12:39

No other Prophet is khatamulambiya.

00:12:40 --> 00:12:42

Of the specialities given to him

00:12:43 --> 00:12:45

is that he has been sent to jinn

00:12:46 --> 00:12:49

and ins. No prophet has been sent to

00:12:49 --> 00:12:52

both of them. Of the khasiyya given to

00:12:52 --> 00:12:55

him is that he has been called Rahmatal

00:12:55 --> 00:12:56

lil aalameen,

00:12:57 --> 00:12:59

and no prophet before him has been called

00:12:59 --> 00:13:00

Rahmatalilalameen.

00:13:01 --> 00:13:03

Of the specialities that has been he has

00:13:03 --> 00:13:05

been blessed with and no other prophet is

00:13:05 --> 00:13:05

that Allah

00:13:06 --> 00:13:09

allowed all of the prophets to meet because

00:13:09 --> 00:13:09

of him.

00:13:10 --> 00:13:12

Never before has this occurred, and that is

00:13:12 --> 00:13:14

of course in Islam Mi'raj. And the prophet

00:13:14 --> 00:13:15

sallallahu alaihi wa sallam then led them in

00:13:15 --> 00:13:17

salah. This is a khasiyyah

00:13:18 --> 00:13:19

that there is no comparison with any other

00:13:27 --> 00:13:29

imam of all of the rusl. How can

00:13:29 --> 00:13:31

this not be a kasiya

00:13:31 --> 00:13:33

given to him? So all of these are

00:13:33 --> 00:13:35

kasiya given to him in this world. And

00:13:35 --> 00:13:36

then the final category,

00:13:37 --> 00:13:39

are khasiyyah given to him in the next

00:13:39 --> 00:13:42

life? Things that only he has and no

00:13:42 --> 00:13:43

other prophet has. And again, this is not

00:13:43 --> 00:13:46

a comprehensive list. Number 1, the prophet salallahu

00:13:46 --> 00:13:47

alaihi wa sallam said,

00:13:48 --> 00:13:51

I shall be the first person that the

00:13:51 --> 00:13:53

earth will cleft asunder and be resurrected.

00:13:54 --> 00:13:55

Awalumaniushaqalihlqabr.

00:13:56 --> 00:13:58

The first qadr to be

00:13:58 --> 00:14:01

cracked open, and the first person to come

00:14:01 --> 00:14:04

up, it shall be me. So judgment day

00:14:04 --> 00:14:05

will begin

00:14:06 --> 00:14:07

with the resurrection of the Prophet salallahu alayhi

00:14:07 --> 00:14:10

wasalam. It will begin with his resurrection.

00:14:11 --> 00:14:13

So he is the one that is starting

00:14:14 --> 00:14:16

the whole resurrection on that day. Of the

00:14:16 --> 00:14:17

specialties

00:14:17 --> 00:14:19

given to him, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam

00:14:19 --> 00:14:22

said that, on that day, Allah will hand

00:14:22 --> 00:14:24

me the flag for mankind.

00:14:24 --> 00:14:26

So it looks like all of the species,

00:14:26 --> 00:14:28

and I went over this in detail when

00:14:28 --> 00:14:30

I had my lectures in this masjid when

00:14:30 --> 00:14:31

I first came here 5 years ago, went

00:14:31 --> 00:14:34

over the series of, the day of judgment,

00:14:34 --> 00:14:35

and the signs of day of judgment, and

00:14:35 --> 00:14:37

the actual day of judgment, went over all

00:14:37 --> 00:14:40

of that. So it appears that species will

00:14:40 --> 00:14:40

be resurrected,

00:14:41 --> 00:14:43

and there will be a representative for every

00:14:43 --> 00:14:45

species. And our Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:14:45 --> 00:14:49

will be holding the flag of praise, liwaalhamd.

00:14:49 --> 00:14:50

He is representing

00:14:51 --> 00:14:51

mankind.

00:14:52 --> 00:14:54

Allah will give him that flag. Of the

00:14:54 --> 00:14:57

khasiyyah, specialties on that day, as we know

00:14:57 --> 00:15:01

from the hadith, that all of mankind will

00:15:01 --> 00:15:01

be

00:15:02 --> 00:15:05

so worried. They're gonna hunt for somebody to

00:15:05 --> 00:15:07

beg Allah to get the day of judgment

00:15:07 --> 00:15:08

over with. Let's just start and get it

00:15:08 --> 00:15:10

done with. And they're gonna go to all

00:15:10 --> 00:15:10

the prophets. Eventually, they will go to the

00:15:10 --> 00:15:10

prophet,

00:15:12 --> 00:15:15

sallallahu alaihi wasallam, and this is called Maqamal

00:15:16 --> 00:15:16

Mahmood.

00:15:17 --> 00:15:18

One person

00:15:18 --> 00:15:20

shall signal the

00:15:20 --> 00:15:23

the request to begin actual judgment, and that

00:15:23 --> 00:15:25

will be our prophet, salaam, the maqam al

00:15:25 --> 00:15:28

Mahmood. What is it? The maqam al Mahmood

00:15:28 --> 00:15:28

is

00:15:29 --> 00:15:30

one person

00:15:31 --> 00:15:34

will signal to Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, ask

00:15:34 --> 00:15:36

Allah, I should say, beg Allah to start

00:15:36 --> 00:15:37

the day of judgment,

00:15:38 --> 00:15:40

to begin it all, because people are getting

00:15:40 --> 00:15:42

worried, and people are getting very panicked and

00:15:42 --> 00:15:44

whatnot. So they're gonna make shafa'a to Adam,

00:15:44 --> 00:15:47

to Nuhr, to Ibrahim, to Musa, to Isa.

00:15:47 --> 00:15:48

Each one will say, I don't wanna do

00:15:48 --> 00:15:50

it, I don't wanna do it, until they

00:15:50 --> 00:15:52

come to the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. And

00:15:52 --> 00:15:54

that is the maqamal Mahmood. He said, I

00:15:54 --> 00:15:56

will go to the throne of Allah, and

00:15:56 --> 00:15:58

I will prostrate in front of the throne.

00:15:58 --> 00:16:01

So he will be the only person upfront

00:16:01 --> 00:16:05

representing mankind, and that will be the initiation

00:16:05 --> 00:16:08

of the hisaab. When the prophetessasim lifts his

00:16:08 --> 00:16:11

head, then the mizan will come down, then

00:16:11 --> 00:16:13

the scales will come, and the actual hisaab

00:16:13 --> 00:16:16

will begin. This is unique only to him.

00:16:16 --> 00:16:19

Of the khasiyyah given to him

00:16:19 --> 00:16:22

is that jannah, well, we before we get

00:16:22 --> 00:16:24

to jannah, even the sirat, is that he

00:16:24 --> 00:16:25

shall be the first to cross over the

00:16:25 --> 00:16:28

sirat. When Anas ibn Malik said, it's a

00:16:28 --> 00:16:30

very, very beautiful hadith, it's a very loving

00:16:30 --> 00:16:34

hadith, very, nice hadith. When Anas ibn Malik

00:16:34 --> 00:16:36

said, You Rasulullah, on the day of judgment,

00:16:36 --> 00:16:37

there's gonna be so many people, how will

00:16:37 --> 00:16:39

I find you? Look where his mind is

00:16:39 --> 00:16:40

going. He was just a kid at the

00:16:40 --> 00:16:42

time. Where will I how will I find

00:16:42 --> 00:16:45

you? So the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam said,

00:16:45 --> 00:16:47

you will find me at the haud, at

00:16:47 --> 00:16:49

the at the at the, the the,

00:16:49 --> 00:16:52

cistern, at the pool. By the way, is

00:16:52 --> 00:16:54

the haud unique to the prophet said, Is

00:16:54 --> 00:16:55

it from his

00:16:58 --> 00:17:00

khassiyyah? We went over this in detail

00:17:01 --> 00:17:02

5 years ago.

00:17:02 --> 00:17:05

5 years ago, right here. But you've all

00:17:05 --> 00:17:05

forgotten.

00:17:06 --> 00:17:08

Every Prophet is given a helt.

00:17:09 --> 00:17:11

Every Prophet is given a helt.

00:17:12 --> 00:17:13

But our Prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam will

00:17:13 --> 00:17:15

have the largest hault. That's gonna be his

00:17:15 --> 00:17:17

kasiya. As for the hault, every Prophet will

00:17:17 --> 00:17:19

be given it, and they're going to be

00:17:19 --> 00:17:22

calling their ummas. But our prophet has given

00:17:22 --> 00:17:24

the largest hauls. So hauls is not kasiya.

00:17:24 --> 00:17:26

So Anas al Malik said that you will

00:17:26 --> 00:17:28

find me at the, he told the prophet,

00:17:29 --> 00:17:30

he told Anas, you will find me at

00:17:30 --> 00:17:32

the haud. He goes, what if I don't

00:17:32 --> 00:17:34

find you there? He goes, then I'll be

00:17:34 --> 00:17:36

waiting for you at the sirats, making dua

00:17:36 --> 00:17:38

for my ummah as they cross over. So

00:17:38 --> 00:17:40

he's gonna be waiting at the sirats,

00:17:40 --> 00:17:43

waiting for his ummah, making du'a for his

00:17:43 --> 00:17:44

ummah, what to cross over on the other

00:17:44 --> 00:17:47

side. And he shall be the 1st to

00:17:47 --> 00:17:49

cross over the sirat, and he will stop

00:17:49 --> 00:17:51

there waiting for the rest of his ummah

00:17:51 --> 00:17:53

to come. So this is a khasiyyah of

00:17:53 --> 00:17:55

our Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

00:17:56 --> 00:17:58

We can add here the haud is not

00:17:58 --> 00:18:00

unique, but one thing is unique, and that

00:18:00 --> 00:18:03

is the water of his haud will be

00:18:03 --> 00:18:03

unique.

00:18:04 --> 00:18:06

The haud is not unique. Every prophet is

00:18:06 --> 00:18:09

gonna have a haud, but the water

00:18:09 --> 00:18:10

in the haud of the prophet salallahu alaihi

00:18:10 --> 00:18:12

wa sallam, where will it come from?

00:18:12 --> 00:18:14

Where will it come from?

00:18:14 --> 00:18:15

Al Qathar.

00:18:15 --> 00:18:18

And Al Qathar is one of his unique

00:18:18 --> 00:18:20

blessings. One of the hasi of the prophet,

00:18:20 --> 00:18:21

salallam,

00:18:21 --> 00:18:22

Inna ataynaka

00:18:22 --> 00:18:25

al Qathar. And what is al Qathar? Al

00:18:25 --> 00:18:26

Qathar is the primary

00:18:26 --> 00:18:28

river and tributary of Jannah.

00:18:29 --> 00:18:31

All of the other rivers, or there's an

00:18:31 --> 00:18:33

ikhilaf here, some scholars say there's 3 main

00:18:33 --> 00:18:35

rivers, some say there's 4 main rivers, and

00:18:35 --> 00:18:36

some say there's one main river and the

00:18:36 --> 00:18:38

other 3, you know, branch into them. You

00:18:38 --> 00:18:40

know, we don't have a geographic map of

00:18:40 --> 00:18:42

map of Jannah. InshaAllah, when we get there,

00:18:42 --> 00:18:44

we can draw one out insha Allahu Ta'ala.

00:18:44 --> 00:18:46

But without a doubt, the largest

00:18:47 --> 00:18:49

fountain, and the large not fountain, the largest

00:18:49 --> 00:18:52

river, and the most blessed river is Al

00:18:52 --> 00:18:54

Kawthah. And that river

00:18:54 --> 00:18:57

is gifted to the Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam,

00:18:57 --> 00:18:59

and the haud on the qiyama

00:19:00 --> 00:19:02

is gonna get a tap from the heavens,

00:19:03 --> 00:19:05

and the kawthar will be feeding into the

00:19:05 --> 00:19:08

haud. Understand this point, The Qathar is not

00:19:08 --> 00:19:10

on the day of judgment. The Qathar is

00:19:10 --> 00:19:12

in Jannah. But the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa

00:19:12 --> 00:19:13

sallam said,

00:19:13 --> 00:19:15

Allah will tap in to the Qathar. There's

00:19:15 --> 00:19:16

gonna be mizabs,

00:19:17 --> 00:19:19

there's gonna be spouts from Jannah, and those

00:19:19 --> 00:19:21

spouts will be above my haud.

00:19:22 --> 00:19:25

So the haud will get the water from

00:19:25 --> 00:19:25

the kothar.

00:19:26 --> 00:19:27

That is khasiya,

00:19:28 --> 00:19:30

not the hawud. You get the point? The

00:19:30 --> 00:19:32

water of the hawud and the source of

00:19:32 --> 00:19:34

the hawud, that is unique to the Prophet

00:19:34 --> 00:19:36

salallahu alayhi wasalam. And then let's finish up

00:19:36 --> 00:19:38

here, 2 more things, then we're done, inshaAllah.

00:19:40 --> 00:19:42

One of the last things that were mentioned

00:19:42 --> 00:19:44

here, the kasi of the prophet, salalahu alaihi

00:19:44 --> 00:19:45

wa sallam, the prophet, salalahu alaihi wa sallam

00:19:45 --> 00:19:48

said, I shall be the first to knock

00:19:48 --> 00:19:49

on the doors of Jannah,

00:19:50 --> 00:19:52

and I shall be the first because of

00:19:52 --> 00:19:54

whom the doors are open, and then he

00:19:54 --> 00:19:57

said, and I will be awwaluman yad khululjan,

00:19:57 --> 00:19:58

obviously.

00:19:58 --> 00:20:01

The first person to enter Jannah out of

00:20:01 --> 00:20:02

all of mankind

00:20:02 --> 00:20:04

will be our prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam,

00:20:04 --> 00:20:06

that is without a doubt, a khasiya to

00:20:06 --> 00:20:08

him. And then of course, the final kasiya

00:20:08 --> 00:20:10

that we mentioned, and without a doubt, the

00:20:10 --> 00:20:12

greatest one of all, it is

00:20:13 --> 00:20:14

alwaseelah.

00:20:15 --> 00:20:15

Alwaseelah.

00:20:16 --> 00:20:16

Allahummarabahadihidaawtatamma

00:20:18 --> 00:20:19

wassalatulqaimahati

00:20:20 --> 00:20:20

Muhammadanalwaseelata

00:20:22 --> 00:20:23

walfadeelah.

00:20:23 --> 00:20:23

Waba'athhu

00:20:24 --> 00:20:27

on the day of judgment, maqamal Mahmood. Maqamal

00:20:27 --> 00:20:28

Mahmood waba'athhu.

00:20:28 --> 00:20:30

Maqamal Mahmood yomal qiyama.

00:20:30 --> 00:20:33

Waseelah. What is the waseelah? Our prophet salallahu

00:20:33 --> 00:20:36

alayhi wasallam said, al wasilatuh

00:20:36 --> 00:20:37

darajatunfiljannah.

00:20:38 --> 00:20:39

Wasilah

00:20:39 --> 00:20:40

is one entire

00:20:41 --> 00:20:42

level of jannah.

00:20:42 --> 00:20:44

And it is aalaaljannah.

00:20:45 --> 00:20:47

And it is aalaal firdaus. And it is

00:20:47 --> 00:20:50

underneath the throne of Ar Rahman,

00:20:50 --> 00:20:52

and it's an entire level,

00:20:53 --> 00:20:54

a whole

00:20:54 --> 00:20:56

floor or a whole

00:20:56 --> 00:20:58

earth if you like, and it is meant

00:20:58 --> 00:20:59

for 1 person.

00:21:00 --> 00:21:02

And then the prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam said,

00:21:02 --> 00:21:02

arju.

00:21:03 --> 00:21:05

I hope I am that

00:21:05 --> 00:21:08

person. Arju. I hope that I am that

00:21:08 --> 00:21:10

person. And of course, we know he is

00:21:10 --> 00:21:12

that person because there is nobody else that

00:21:12 --> 00:21:15

is gonna get the waseel. And his modesty,

00:21:15 --> 00:21:17

he said, arju aana kulaminu, but in reality,

00:21:17 --> 00:21:19

we know it is him, and that's why

00:21:19 --> 00:21:21

we make dua for him to get the

00:21:21 --> 00:21:22

waseelah,

00:21:22 --> 00:21:25

the highest level of jannah, which is

00:21:26 --> 00:21:27

above everybody else, understandably,

00:21:28 --> 00:21:30

and that is called al waseelah. And al

00:21:30 --> 00:21:32

waseelah means the connection to Allah. That's because

00:21:32 --> 00:21:34

it's a connection. It's so close to Allah,

00:21:34 --> 00:21:36

and that is without a doubt the biggest

00:21:36 --> 00:21:38

blessing that our prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam

00:21:38 --> 00:21:40

has to be the highest in Jannah. And

00:21:40 --> 00:21:42

these are just some of the khasa'is of

00:21:42 --> 00:21:44

the prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam. In reality,

00:21:44 --> 00:21:46

there are many more than these, but wanna

00:21:46 --> 00:21:49

conclude on this point. Every khasa is giving

00:21:49 --> 00:21:50

to him.

00:21:51 --> 00:21:53

It is also a blessing for us because

00:21:53 --> 00:21:56

we are his ummah. So when he is

00:21:56 --> 00:21:58

raised, then if we love him and if

00:21:58 --> 00:22:00

we attach ourselves to him, we will also

00:22:00 --> 00:22:02

be raised. So love the prophet, salallahu alayhi

00:22:02 --> 00:22:05

wa sallam. Read his seerah, follow as much

00:22:05 --> 00:22:07

as you can of his instructions and sunnah

00:22:08 --> 00:22:11

perchance, insha Allahu ta'ala, his blessings will trickle

00:22:11 --> 00:22:13

down no matter how small to me and

00:22:13 --> 00:22:14

you, and that is gonna be more than

00:22:14 --> 00:22:17

enough for us. May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala

00:22:17 --> 00:22:19

resurrect us with the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi wasalam.

00:22:19 --> 00:22:21

May he allow us to drink from the

00:22:21 --> 00:22:23

howod. May he allow us to be sheltered

00:22:23 --> 00:22:25

under the shade of Allah. May he allow

00:22:25 --> 00:22:27

us to have the shafa'ah of the Prophet

00:22:27 --> 00:22:29

Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and be with him in

00:22:29 --> 00:22:30

Janatuf Fidhusillahala

00:22:31 --> 00:22:32

wa sallallahu as salamu barakal Muhammadunu aaliwasahibijmain, was

00:22:32 --> 00:22:33

salamu alayhi wa
