That's more like it. Wake up Ajima. Still
not fajr.
May Allah
protect you from any calamities.
May Allah protect us from being afflicted with
any harm, you Allah.
But there is sometimes there is that comes
with those afflictions.
And for the believer, as the prophet mentioned,
hadith we explained before,
everything that afflicts the believer is good for
them. If it's good, they'll be grateful for.
If it's bad, they'll be patient with, and
it's always good for the believer. But here's
the prophet, as I mentioned, something specific
in regard to this calamity. It's a very
short hadith. Hadith number 39 and the other
on
the chapter of
Asabr.
In this hadith the messenger of Allah sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam said,
he whom Allah intends good, he makes him
to suffer from some affliction.
That Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala subject him to
some suffering
in this dunya.
So what does that mean
here? Doesn't mean that if Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala that doesn't mean that if someone is
not going through any afflictions or any suffering,
that Allah doesn't love them?
Not necessary.
But what how could someone
benefit from being afflicted with a calamity?
We mentioned in the previous hadith, as the
prophet mentioned,
All the affliction of the believer, whether it's
concerns
and anxiety, fear,
sorrow, grief,
all these things
but Allah
will use these concerns
and these afflictions and this pain to the
sins of the believer.
So that's what it means. So when Allah
when the prophet says, if Allah was good
for somebody, Yousef Minho, he will subject them
to certain suffering in this dunya. It doesn't
have to be something extreme,
it doesn't. It could be something little,
something that you could handle
and nothing that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala subject
you to,
but it's in Allah's knowledge subhanahu wa ta'ala,
it's in the capacity of a human being.
And frankly, those of us today who are
crying about certain afflictions they go through or
certain pain they go through, Just compare yourself
to what's happened to our brothers and sister
in Gaza and Al Dhruf and Philistine today.
Just imagine that.
Imagine the the kind of Yani subhanAllah, the
kind of suffering they had to go through.
The loss of life,
the loss of property,
the loss of of of safety.
Oh, everything the prophet mentioned the hadith.
All the concerns and anxiety, the grief, the
sorrow, the pain,
everything
they're going through.
And how do they respond to it? At
least what we see and subhanAllah for many,
many of them, masha'Allah,
is patience,
perseverance,
acceptance,
courage
and they come out saying Alhamdulillah.
And they keep saying you Allah, take from
us until you're pleased.
We all belong to
you. Take it.
Imagine that, subhanAllah.
But that is where the where iman and
faith comes to be put to the test
really. Many of us might say, well, if
I was there I would probably maybe, alhamdulillah,
do well as well. Allah knows, don't even
ask yourself
to ask Allah to put you in this
situation.
Because some of us who had an easy
life they might say, why Allah is not
testing me?
Just be happy that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
has given you safety.
And that's what the prophet always ask us
to say in the
dua. He always ask Allah for safety in
this dunya and in the akhir and my
deen and my life. Always ask for safety.
However,
if the test comes,
that's we need to show your patience,
your perseverance,
your tips of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala judgment.
And always look for that which is higher
in it. Like always assume khair in Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala judgment by saying what does
Allah
want from me in this situation?
How can I benefit from that? And you'll
always find something will come from it, But
still, we always ask Allah subhanahu to make
it easy for all of us,
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala protect our brothers
and sons.
We ask Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, to shield
our brothers and sisters in Gaza. We ask
Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, to alleviate their suffering.
We ask Allah to protect our brother and
sisters
in, in Al Dafaa as well. And we
ask Allah to protect our brother and sister
in Sudan,
in
Kashmir, the Uyghur in China.
All those going through difficulties, we ask Allah
to protect them, elevate their suffering, give them
victory against our oppressor, You Rabbil Alameen,
and restore their lives back to peace and
tranquility in this dunya and janitor for those
in the akhirah.
And we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to
protect us here in this country,
Protect our communities,
protect our masajid,
protect our livelihood, protect our communities, our families.
We ask Allah
to keep us strong and firm in our
imaniyahallah.
We ask Allah to always keep us that
give us that safety in the dunya and
akhir.
Any question?
Yes.
If someone has been blessed with Chairat,
is it okay if they have concern and
have an anxiety that what if this goes
away and when is it gonna happen? Keep
worrying about that. Now that is natural. That's
natural.
But if we if we pair that
with always hoping, you know, for Allah
and safety, will be fine inshaAllahu ta'ala. Like
always fill your heart with iman that whatever
happens, it's in the Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
jemalaha's hand. That's better for all of us.
I want to remind you tomorrow at Assata
Al Maghrib. Please don't forget this.
