We're still reading from the book of Asaba,
the book of, the chapter on on patience
from read us salihin,
hadith number 49.
This hadith is more like a bringing peace
for the believers,
especially as we go through this dunya. We
go through many trials.
Trials come from all over the place and
come in different shapes.
Sometimes financial, sometimes family issues, all that kind
of stuff and so on. What could bring
peace to the believer
as he or she going through these trials?
Let's see what the prophet
says in this
In this hadith, the messenger of Allah sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam says, a Muslim, male or
female, man or woman,
continues to remain under trial in respect of
his life,
property,
and offspring
until he faces Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, they
exalted with no sin record,
like all their sins being wiped out.
Haydruha Tirmali. So what does it mean
here?
So
the prophet
said that the believer,
male or female, they'll be subject to trials.
Is that a secret Ajima, or that's something
known to everybody?
Known to everybody.
So the the trial not only befall the
the the man, also the woman as well
too,
which means
for us,
men and women, we need to keep that
in mind. We're now both of us are
struggle for the sake of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala, and we're in competition for their work
from Allah
So not just the man who's going through
difficulties,
also many go through difficulties.
What kind of difficulty he
said Like, first of all,
means personal.
What kind of personal, you could say, a
trial a person can go through Jema? Like
what?
Health issues,
getting sick, for example,
injury,
stuff like that. On a personal level,
stress,
You're going through all those and anxiety. These
kind of things. So all these are considered
part of trials.
So this is something on a personal level.
Children, like what?
Loss of children, for example.
Absence of children, not having kids at
all. Or if you have kids, they
wanna be beautiful to you as much as
you would love them to be. Right? So
the difficulty comes from that side. So there
are many things people can see trials through
their children.
And also through their wealth and property.
What does that even mean now?
The loss of properties,
losing their jobs,
money value goes down,
losing business, whatever that is, something of that
nature,
or losing their car or their house, whatever.
So the trials are coming all different shapes,
on a personal level,
social level, and also financial level.
And again, that's not a secret because Allah
subhanahu says in the Quran,
He said we shall try you. Allah says,
very, very clear. You are going to be
tried and tested in many things.
With some fear, Some,
diminishing of health and wealth and properties
and many things. And he say
give the good news for those who persevere
in patients. So the prophet says over here
that the bala the trial will be go
the believer will be going through all the
trials
until
and no records of sins on your books.
Like, they'll be like, if they said, like,
wipe out the sins completely.
A question right now.
Do you have to accept these trials to
get the reward for effacing these sins?
Or just by by default.
Any trial you go through, you're gonna have
to you're gonna basically kinda, like, get some
of your sins being eliminated. What do you
guys think?
Like, if you don't show patients, like, so
you're going through trial.
Someone lost
their job.
They start yelling and cussing and cursing, and
they say, why me, and so and so.
Are they gonna still have their reward for,
for that trial they're going through?
They lost
it. Because the prophet said,
you have to be patient to get that.
You have to be patient to get that.
Being patient doesn't mean you cannot complain.
Like, you can say, oh, this hurt me.
This hurts.
Oh, Allah, I'm so scared. You Allah, help
me out with this. It's okay.
But you don't complain about Allah for
the trial you're going through. Because once you
start complaining about Allah
you lost your chance, you lost your opportunities
for
that. Making sure that those trials don't go
wasted.
And, again, we are gonna all be going
through trials. May Allah protect
us. Now is it smart thing for someone
to say, oh, Allah, if that's gonna, erase
my sins, I should ask for more.
Would that be smart to say, Ajima?
Absolutely not. Because even the prophet salallahu alayhi
wa sallam himself, when he used to make
dua, he used to make dua for what?
He always asked
Allah for safety and protection in his body,
in his sight, in his hearing, in his
dunya and in the akhirah. So even the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, he would say,
protect me from any trials.
So never ever wish for a trial because,
say, I messed up so many things. I
need to make dua. I need to make
dua for more trials. Don't ever ask the
Allah for this. But if Allah, subhanahu wa
ta'ala, wills and he will
choose to test you, Be prepared and be
patient, and may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala protect
you all.
Any
question?
Yes.
So some of the questions, someone lost their
job as a trial. Right? They started complaining
and whining about it and so on. And
then later after a few days, they came
back to their senses, and they start kind
of becoming more remorseful.
Do they still get the reward to officiate
their sins? I hope so. However, remember,
the full reward is at the beginning.
And as people start complaining and whining, they
lose in some of that reward until whatever
is left for them when they come come
to their senses, whatever is left, that's what
you get. So if you wanna get the
maximum reward, be patient at the at the
first strike.
