The last hadith that he has,
placed in, the chapter of patience in Yad
Vasalihin.
A very unique hadith, specifically about an an
area of our life as believers
that requires the greatest, probably, level of patience.
And let's see what the prophet says on
speaker about Rabbi. Hadith number 53.
And Abi and
Abi Ibrahim
Abdillah ibn Abi Aufar radiAllahu anhu.
It's a it was reported that the messenger
of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam at one time
when he confronted the enemy and was waiting
for the sun to set, he stood up
and said.
So that was on the battlefield.
The prophet
was preparing himself,
preparing the jama'ah and the ummah to fight
their enemy. So this is now on the
battlefield.
This time, obviously, is one of the most
difficult moments in the life of anybody.
Right now you're you're facing an enemy. You're
gonna be fighting each other to death, basically.
So, obviously,
people who are attached to this dunya, one
of the most,
difficult moments for them, that they're now gonna
be losing their life for this cause. It
depends on how strong you believe in that
cause that you're willing to do that sacrifice.
So that's why it requires
very extreme patience. Because even the prophet
as allah in the in the Quran
that turning your back
turn your back to enemy without any strategy,
just to run away from the battlefield, that's
one of the major sins.
But one of the major sins because it
would definitely it would break the the the
resolution of others as well too and break
the spirit of those who like to fight.
So here, the
prophet in that moment,
he was preparing the ummah for what's coming
next. So
the prophet he stood up, and he said
to them,
He said, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, o people,
do not long for encountering the enemy
and subject to Allah to grant you security
and safety.
Now that's a very surprising statement, by the
way. I mean, you're in the battlefield.
You're gonna be be preparing your, your people,
to fight, and then, all of a sudden
you're telling them, look,
don't wish to be the the enemy.
Don't wish for that, but ask Allah to
give you safety and security.
Now this is an interesting thing here. Again,
because
if the prophet
was supposed to be preparing them for the
fight, why would he say that for?
Because obviously, a lot of people, unfortunately,
they think of,
just a shortcut to jannahani.
Just wanna go die to die to die.
There is no purpose for fighting or for
the sake of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala other
than just dying. That's not the purpose of
it.
The purpose
of it is to raise the banner of
to establish justice on earth for the sake
of in the name of Allah
That's the whole purpose of it. But if
someone becomes a casualty of that, Allah bless
them with shahada.
And may Allah make a shahada for them.
But to wish to face the enemy in
that sense, no. However,
however,
when the battle starts,
that's the whole point, when the battle starts,
and now in it's you're in the middle
of combat,
that's not you don't tell people right now,
don't wish to meet the enemy.
No. This is a moment when you tell
them, as Allah mentioned,
target their their necks. Do this. Do this.
Because now is the time because the combat
is hot.
But the prophet is telling us, look, if
you can avoid that encounter with them
and finding a a settlement with them, that's
better for you.
So it's not always about
combat in that sense. So here the prophet
before he met them, he said, look, let's
wish that they don't fight us.
That's what it means. Better for us not
to fight them. But if we have to
fight them, we will do it with
strong resolution for the sake of Allah
with bravery and courage.
So the prophet
says, do not wish to meet your enemies.
Always ask Allah
for security
and for safety. Then he said,
But when you meet them,
show patience.
Means keep your ground firm,
on the ground.
So all of us say, you have to
understand, he says, that Jannah lies under the
shade of these swords.
It lies under the shade of these swords.
So for those on the combat, they need
to understand
that, you know, what is death? It's meaning
you're Lord Subhanahu wa ta'ala and Jannah is
right there for you.
But again, that's not the purpose of fighting
the enemy.
But if that happens, Allah will bless these
people.
Now that is also that is also happens
in almost, I would say, in every kind
of difficulty and hardship you go through.
Is it possible, is it permissible for someone
to ask Allah
to test them?
Says, you Rabbi, my life is so easy.
I don't know if you're pleased with me
or not, so I'm not going through any
test or difficulties.
Is it smart for someone to ask Allah
to test the mijama?
Please don't do that.
Do not do this.
Don't try
Allah
Do not try Allah
But Allah
he can test whomever he was. So the
prophet says, don't wish for that. But if
it happens, he says then first
you need to show patience. You need to
show patience,
but better for you always to ask Allah
for safety and security
and stay away from troubles. Then the prophet
when he realized that the
combat is beginning and starting, he says,
The prophet made a dua, You Allah,
revere of the book,
dispenser of the clouds,
defeater of the, of the confederates.
Put our enemy to route
put our enemy to route and help us,
help us and overpower them.
Now that dua is a dua, Allah, we
make for brothers and sisters in Gaza because
everybody just now is lining up against them.
The whole world, unfortunately,
is lining up against them. Not even even
if they're not on the ground, fighting them
personally,
they're fighting anybody who's trying to bring their
cause to to to the public or to
the to the front.
Anybody.
Whether students in encampments
or people trying to protest the the, the
presence of this war criminal in DC,
or anybody who's trying to just voice their
opinion regarding this matter, they're always shut down
completely.
And we're not gonna stand down.
So that dua we make against them. We
say,
because, that that injustice is is becoming too
long, and truly there is no no one
can really come right now to the aid
of our brothers and brothers except for Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. And we know Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala, if he wills, he can change
the can change the affairs in an instant
in a way that we don't know how.
So we ask Allah
to bring that victory he promised
and relieve our
brothers from Gaza from this from this injustice.
And I don't know if you know that,
but now it's expanding even to Abdufer to
the West Bank as well too.
Now the idea is that this is it.
There will be no West Bank in the
next few years in their planning. There'll be
no such thing anymore.
They'll be completely annexed,
and people will be forced to live in
an apartheid
regime for probably for the rest of their
life or as long as Allah wills until
that injustice completely removed. May Allah, subhanahu wa
ta'ala,
protect us and our brother and sisters around
the world, you Rabbi Alaihi, from that injustice.
Any questions,
