May Allah
facilitate this Hajj journey for you, Rabbi Al
Amin,
and make it easy as you go through
it and grow through it and come back
home You Rabbi Alamin. May Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala grant us all Hajj al Mabru. We
ask
Allah to make it
a flawless Hajj that we come back completely
forgiven You Rabbi Alamin. And may Allah keep
us, keeps our Hijaz,
our communities, our families safe as we go
and we come back, You Rabbi Alamin.
So tonight, today, inshaAllah ta'ala, we're gonna be
going through
the steps of Hajj, inshaAllah
We're dividing the entire
presentation
into 2 major things. Things related to the
logistics of Hajj, and frankly, it's gonna take
the majority
of our conversation.
And the last portion will be a little
bit brief on the fiqh and the etiquette
of Hajj, Because a lot of the etiquette
and the fiqh of Hajj, we are going
to be repeating that and reviewing that again
when we go there to Mecca or Madinah.
Cause even if we talk about how Hajj
looks like right now, by the time we
get there, completely forgot it.
So once we get closer,
we will have some lectures. That will be
there in Madinah. Lectures will be in Makkah,
inshaAllah, for those who go to Makkah first.
And we're gonna be discussing the technicalities and
the details of how to perform the Hajj
and Umrah and more details there inshallah. But,
talking about logistics of Hajj is extremely important
this time. Why? Because the Hajj system has
changed.
How to book your packages, and and and
how to
reserve your stays, and and all that kind
of stuff. So, some people are still
confused about how we go about it. I
just want to give you the idea why
the system has shifted and changed. Obviously, now
that we have the Nusuk
of course, you know, app, the one you
registered for Hajj, and you apply for verification
until you get accepted, and then you go
and you select your packages based on the
service providers, and eventually once, alhamdulillah, you lock
your, your package, mashallah, you're good to go
and you start getting your itinerary
afterwards.
But, through that process, there'll be a lot
of logistics
that we need to be aware of so
that we don't mess up, you know, going
to the wrong group or different,
programs and so on. The multiple programs have
been offered. I'll just give you an overview
right now. Some of them are,
10 days. They're called express package. There's 14
days, and those 14 days go actually,
Madinah first or Makkah first. Depends on which
one that you choose. You will be landing
in Jeddah or landing in Madinah, and each
one of them has its own logistics as
well too. Then there are some people who
go for 17 days with other,
service providers, And there are other groups that
go for 23 days as well too. So
there are multiple packages,
and each has its own. So I'm not
really sure
who's
here is having a 10 days package, 14
days package, 23 packages, and so on. Just
survey. Just go quickly here. How many of
you guys have booked the the express
package that's 10 days only?
Okay. So we have about 5, 6, 7
of you over here. How many of you
are going 14 days?
Marsha, that's the majority so far. Now keep
your hands up.
If you are going Madinah first, keep hands
up. If Mecca first, go down keep your
hands down.
So the majority go into Madinah first, that's
good because that's the package I chose for
as well too, alhamdulillah.
Now I'm not sure what service provider you
guys have chosen, but as you know, since
we have no control over the service providers
anymore from America, You're not gonna be going
with,
technically, I would say with the regular groups
that you will travel with from America, but
we go with the local providers over there.
So, with the group that I'm going with,
inshallah, there are 3 service providers
that provide the packages for us. There is
Al Burj,
Abdulatif Jameel,
and Sir Ramawasem.
If anyone booked one of these 3, please
raise your hands.
Okay. So you are most likely going to
be with with me and other the other
guys, Insha Allahu Ta'ala.
Anybody else who booked the other,
groups?
You're not necessarily with our guides,
but, insha Allah, the guides that will be
with you since we're gonna be all in
the North American European camp. So we're gonna
be as one big Hajj family insha'Allah Are
we gonna be able to share, alhamdulillah, the
platform together
and move in together? Now that depends. There's
some technical we need to be aware of
in regards to with whom you should be
going, which group, which bus and all these
things inshaAllah.
So all these things I want you to
keep it in your mind as we go
through the process. So first, we're gonna be
discussing most of the logistics and then we
go to the Hajj
Number 1, a disclaimer.
So
all what you have paid for and you
booked for, you have to keep in mind
the responsibility
is in the hand of the local service
providers in Saudi Arabia.
So it's not with the pre registered group
that you registered with here from America.
It's you go directly for rounsouk, for the
local providers over there. Like whatever you've been
promised
that you're gonna get
that's not on me. Okay?
It's in the local providers there over there.
Now,
same thing because I'm also, inshallah, gonna be
going with you and we hope we will
get well, inshallah, through the promise, through the
Hajj providers inshallah.
And obviously,
this will include everything that you paid for
will be including your your ticket airline, the
accommodations in Arabia, all the transportation
which includes from Makkah to Madinah, Madinah to
Makkah, and also within the monastic. When you
take the train from Mina to Musdalifah to
Arafa, Arafa, Musdalifah, Mina, All these will be
included in your package insha'Allah.
There is much more for what you have,
alhamdulillah, you have actually paid for.
Communication, communication, communication.
The population of
our group overall is gonna be maybe 2
percent of the total
Hujjah that will be this year, Insha'Allah.
So, no matter how big you think you
are, as a group, we're tiny little bit
of the majority of the Hijaz that are
coming from around the world.
Therefore, you're going to get diluted.
So,
you can easily get lost over there. No
matter how much you think, Alhamdulillah, I'll be
able to figure out my directions and so
on, if you haven't been there before, it
can really be confusing. So question you right
now quickly, how many of you are gonna
be going Hajj first time, InshaAllah? Raise your
hand.
That's your first time, majority first time Hajj
MashaAllah.
Man, that's gonna be a tough one. Okay.
But how many of you,
how many of you have done umrah before?
Raise your hands.
Okay. That's good. So, you're familiar with the
area,
but logistics requires much more when it comes
to moving from Makkah to Musdalifa, to Mina,
and Arafah, and so on. So we're gonna
cover this here. So communication,
communication, communication is very important.
You need to be informed because if you're
not informed, you're gonna start making assumptions and
you're gonna be acting based on those assumptions
and then you find yourself lost in the
whole crowd. So, please make sure to be
informed
and I'm doing my by first of all
making sure you have a phone with you,
inshallah,
that's working good.
The the battery doesn't die every 5 minutes.
Also, make sure that you download, some of
the communication apps, and here the group suggest
WhatsApp or other. Also, if you haven't downloaded
Nusuk,
I'm sure that you did already, alhamdulillah, but
if you haven't done it on your phone,
you need to download Nusuk on your phone
and open your account as well, so you
can be always connected. You're gonna need that
when you go to Madinah
to book your Rouda, for example, visit. And
also in Mecca, when you want to do
your umrah, and if you want to do
other umrah, you can read the Nusuk app
as well too Insha'Allah.
So, 2 major apps that are used for
communication between the hujat,
number 1 is WhatsApp.
Some other groups might use Telegram.
If you don't have them, I suggest that
you download them and be prepared and be
ready insha Allahu Tabarakkawata'ala.
This is for the majority of the communication.
As we move, as we move from the
monastic like special Madina, when we go to
the ziyarah, when we go to Hajj,
Uhud or go to Al Khandaq and so
on. InshaAllah that you're going to be provided
throughout the journey of Hajj InshaAllah, you're going
to be provided with receivers
and the guide will have a transmitter. So
you'll be having it in your ears as
we move around. So inshaAllah, you don't have
to yell. I don't have to, you know,
kinda,
not hear what's being said. You'll be connect
you'll be connecting, inshallah. It's gonna be your
responsibility
to keep that, receiver,
safe with you. You don't get you don't
lose it. And also to charge it every
night. So it's always, alhamdulillah, charge so the
battery is ready for you for the next
day. Sometimes, actually, it'll be a long day,
sometimes a short use of it, but inshallah
you're gonna need this regularly.
Nusuk again is very important,
making sure that you have that ready
for the Ruudah and for the Amra. And
we hope that we are, alhamdulillah,
well educated enough to know that when you
enter the Haram in Makkur Madinah that you
keep your phone silent.
Honestly, it's very disheartening really when you go
there to Madinah specifically, imagine Nabi
And in the middle of the beautiful,
yani,
serene environment of Surat Al Duhr and Surat
Al Asr, you have
ringtones from all over the world.
Every single music you can think of, unfortunately,
you're probably going to hear it over there.
So let's not add to the problem and
make sure that we have insha'l respect for
the Haram and the Messenger Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam. Now,
you have options when you get there.
If you have a US provider, hamdulillah, phone
provider, I would say in this case that
have a global voice and data plans, you're
good. I'll be specific if you have T
Mobile.
If you have T Mobile, then you're covered.
You don't need a SaruDi SIM if you
don't want to. But if you don't have
T Mobile, and your plan doesn't include global,
voice or data plans, you probably perhaps, maybe
it's cheaper for you to buy a SIM
card from there, from Saudi Arabia. And there
are many options to do that. You could
use it from you can buy it from
Nusuk, you could buy it when you when
you land over there. They usually have them
right away once you land. They have a
devil, alhamdulillah,
the
the the service providers,
they already subcontract
with some of these providers and they have
them ready for you on the ground. Once
you land, they will immediately, okay, see who
wants a sim card, and they'll have it
ready for you. You simply need to take
your sim card out, put your sim card
in. But to do that, you're gonna need
to have documentation.
So you're gonna they're gonna have to use
your passport, your name, legal names, and everything
to register that SIM card for you to
be on the phone, insha Allahu Ta'ala, and
with that you'll be able to communicate
regularly. But once you do that, make sure
make sure to add your new number to
the new to the to the WhatsApp group.
So if you already added your American number
and then you did not put the Saudi
number over there, then you're not on the
group anymore. So, make sure that you add
that number so you'll always be included insha
Allahu Ta'ala with our communication.
Here are some of those providers
that we have in Saudi Arabia. You might
see them all around.
So you're gonna see Mobiley, there's Virgin Mobile,
Zen, all these other groups over there. So
whichever now, honestly, I don't have any preference.
It's up to you. I have T Mobile
so I don't use use a local service
because, alhamdulillah, my service covers the the global
voice and that as well too. So, that's
alhamdulillah being covered.
Now, in regards to WiFi,
when you go to WiFi, Alhamdulillah, Makkad Madinah,
easy. You'll have them in the hotel but
obviously
you'll realize
that when you have all these people right
now trying to use the exact same
network, so the bandwidth might not be as
strong as you might expect it to be.
So be prepared
to have some of those hiccups when it
comes to the subject of WiFi.
And alhamdulillah,
it's easy, Shar, to communicate again if you
have a global a global plan. In regards
to Muzdalifa,
Mina, and Arafa, since it's gonna be 10th,
so obviously the service, the wifi service might
not be as also effective,
but there are still, hamdulillah, some of those
service providers, they do have
wifi connection in the tents for those who
would like to stay connected as well too.
Now, in regards to performing
or preparing for Hajjism, matter of fact,
the weather.
Masha Allah, we have even though it's hot
outside, it's very climate over here for
but there is gonna be really very hot,
gonna be really really really hot.
Even though it's spring,
but usually it's hot over there. So, make
sure and please, we ask you to be
prepared for that insha Allahu Ta'ala.
And, definitely, if you have a specific condition
that you need to ask your medical,
and staff and doctors, insha Allah,
making sure to know exactly from them and
through them
what you need to be carrying with you
to stay hydrated, inshallah, So,
you can take
these
tablets, electrolyte,
you know, drinks, and and so on. Alhamdulillah,
I think it's easier for you if you
would like to carry the the, the powder
pouches and or tablets better than of course
anything else.
Or they have them there.
They have them there but obviously since it's
gonna be all Ummat, Muhammad there and for
Hajj, so there'll be a lot of competition
about these materials so you can carry some
with you inshaAllah.
Also,
because it's usually hot there,
you need to keep yourself cool as much
as possible. So of the suggestion that we
say, it's easier to carry with you
water spray, something that is handy that you
can put in your pocket, you can put
it in your bag, nothing nothing big that
would bother you with the weight, so something
light. Or, if you can get some of
those cold packs that is activated, you know,
when you press them. So if if needed
at some point, insha Allahu Ta'ala, for emergencies
and so on, that would be great. And,
again, remember that it's gonna be hot over
there. The average temperature is higher than what
is usual for us here in Dallas.
Part of the advice that is given usually
to Hijaz is to not to stay too
long in the sun.
And even, by the way, you're gonna stay
too long in the sun if you just
walk
from your hotel to the Haram.
Because the sun is there, it's just like
it's really hitting you.
So, even when you do that, make sure
to have covers. If you're not wearing your
hram, especially in Madinah, obviously, make sure to
have a head cover. Even if you're not
used to covering your head, it's better for
you to have a head cover inshallah to
protect yourself from the sun. If you have
sensitive skin, obviously use
a sunscreen or lotions.
Don't exhaust yourself because I know a lot
of people are very excited especially if this
is your first time ever being there. I
want to be there for every salah. I
want to stay there from
from Duhr until Isha and so on. Easy.
Take it easy. You're gonna get yourself exhausted
instead,
and you're gonna
your immune system.
And since you have people from around the
world and God knows what they're carrying with
you, with the fatigue and and lack of
sleep and so forth, it might be very
easy for you to fall sick.
So you need to pace yourself not to
get too excited,
but do it right, insha Allahu Azzawajah. So
if you see yourself staying too long one
day, maybe you need to take it easy
in the evening,
or maybe you need to save your energy
during the day because it's too hot, and
go ahead and spend for maghrib until after
isha until you wish, because it's cool
Just pace yourself and don't put all your
energy in one salah or one time.
And, we recommend also for people to take
with them energy bars so you always have
them with you just in case. Especially if
someone has any special condition,
particularly diabetes, if you read that make sure
to have it with you InshaAllah, Azh zhu
Jal.
In terms of
clothes,
obviously, I think you wonder why the Arabs
there in the Arabian Peninsula, they wear loose
clothes,
and it's all white, and covering all their
skin.
It's interesting that here in America, because it's
too hot and the sun is so hot,
people take off their clothes. Over there, they
know how dangerous it is so they cover
themselves from the heat. So that's why it's
always nice, so we recommend for people to
do the same as well. When you go
there
try to dress like they do
because
they know how to protect themselves from the
heat and from the sun. So it's better
for you to have something loose,
light colors as well to reflect the heat
and the sun inshaAllah to Barakah Wa Ta'ala.
Obviously, there is no specific any rule for
that but as general suggestion
inshaAllah And,
when it comes to buying food,
I don't know how to advise you on
this one Ajima,
but be careful.
Street food looks sometimes so yanidilicious
and so appealing and so cultural,
but try your best to eat in places
where hygiene is very very visible and and
obvious. You might need to pay a little
bit extra
on these meals, but at least you have
alhamdulillah better chance to stay safe and not
to deal
with the consequences of that.
Using a wheelchair. May Allah protect your families.
Some of us might be taking their parents
with them or maybe yourself or maybe your
spouse that might not be able to walk
all the distances that we have. So there's
specific rules for that.
If you need a wheelchair during the air
travel, that's on you to communicate with the
airline.
That's not on the on the service provider.
It's on you to make sure when you
book your ticket or at least when you
start, you know, checking in and so on,
to make sure that you let them know
we need a wheelchair from the terminal of
this to that terminal, from the gate to
this place. That's on you to do that
If
you need a wheelchair only for tawaf and
sa'i,
there are many ways of doing that. Some
is just when you go there into the
haram, there are specific stations
and you're gonna be able to see the
signs where they say wheelchair rentals and this
and that. So, you go there insha Allahu
Ta'ala and you can rent from them. You
can rent it and you push
or have somebody push for you, somebody from
you hire them to push that for you,
and, alhamdulillah,
right now they have electric also,
scooters
where Hijaz can do that, can do the
site, and
this year, I believe, they're implementing a new
system right now in which they
have the upper floor which has recently opened,
alhamdulillah, since this Ramadan. They opened the upper
floor right now, that's connected completely,
where they're using
golf carts even.
So you don't even have to be on
a scooter, just a golf cart, just taking
your tawaf around the cab, alhamdulillah, umibrahamin,
while you're chilling and taking pictures, if you
want to.
But but seriously, they use a new service,
alhamdulillah, is it permissible? The answer is yes.
How so? Because the prophet himself when he
did tawaf al Ifada in Makkah
he did his tawaf when he was riding
on the back of his camel.
And when he was coming to Al Hajar
al Aswad, he didn't even go down to
touch it with his hand, he had his
staff with him and he would reach with
his staff to the stone, say bismillahullahu aqbar,
and he moves on
Why? To make it easy for the ummah,
so that they know it's permissible.
It's not about, you know, putting yourself to
the fatigue. Like if I can have a
concession to make it easier for me with
the with the limits of the acceptable limits
of the Hajj, inshaAllah, and tawah, it should
be fine. So make sure to keep that
in mind as well too. If you need
to do that, you're gonna have to make
those arrangements
so that you would need to go all
the way up to the upper floor.
The wheelchairs, they have some of them actually
in the middle floor as well too and
there's both for tawaf
and sai between Safa and Marwar.
Now, you know, over there, no matter what
price they give you, you can have to
fight them over the prices. They say, 200
yalall. Say, no, 25.
Right?
Until it gets to 75 or 100, whatever.
Unfortunately, no matter even if they say even
if you have a sign that says 100
riyals,
they will still try to get more or
less. That's a system over there, but
we hope, inshallah, it's much more organized right
now where you even pay it online, even
pay it through nusuk, so you don't have
to pay extra or less and everything is
ready for you inshaAllah.
But, keep in mind that you need to
keep cash with you for that insha Allah.
Now, if you need that for family members,
you can do and you want to push,
let's say, in Madinah particularly,
so alhamdulillah, you can do that. We always
recommend to go and buy it yourself, especially
it depends on how many times you're gonna
be using.
It. It's going to be cheaper really to
buy it. So buy it from any pharmacy,
and there are tons of pharmacies around the
Haram. You're just simply going to have to
but there's no guarantee when you get there
you'll find 1. That's the problem.
They might might go sold out quickly.
So if you can get one there, InshaAllah,
you can use it throughout your stay in
Madinah. If you want a cat with you
to Makkah, probably I don't know if they
can cat for you on the bus or
on the, the luggage I actually carry. Otherwise,
you can just donate it before you leave
and get another one in Mecca as well
InshaAllahu ta'ala.
Click to car power.
Many people they ask about this. What kind
of adapters do we need to bring? So,
these are the 2 major adapters that you
see on the left
for that. So they have 2 systems there.
Obviously, the electricity over there is not like
in America. We have 120
volts over here. They have 220,
so they have 2 systems over there. I
don't know which hotel you're gonna be in,
but depends on the hotel. Sometimes they have
both,
both outlets. Sometimes they have one particular.
So be prepared that you need to maybe
use an adapter that fits
all of them over there. So I have
2 here as an example for you.
On the on the other side, you will
see that charger, actually. I personally got that
charger from Amazon, really,
and it's very very convenient. It has it's
exclusive for charging your phone though. So it
has that both outlets, whether it's Samsung or
Apple,
and you can change the adapter easily just
by plugging it into
that box or not. So, it's easy just
for the phone.
Highly recommended to carry with you at least
a 20,000
ampere power bank,
That's what they suggest to say, so you
can carry with you insha Allahu Ta'ala as
you move around the Manassik and particularly when
you go to Mina.
Because when you go to Mina for Arafah,
you're going to be there for night and
then go to Arafah, and then from Arafah
come back to Musdelifa, and then Musdelifa come
back to Mina until you do your tawaf.
So it's going to be more than 24
hours. So if you don't have a good
charger, you might lose power and disconnect from
the group if you
depend on that with WhatsApp and so on.
Is there any specific brand? No. Whatever that
you see, inshallah, fit your budget, you should
be fine.
Hotel and room and chicken, all of this
subject to what the jama'ah, the local
Hajj service provider.
So it's not on our hand,
it's the hand of the people you booked
with and through on Nusluq InshaAllah. We're just
trying to facilitate that on your behalf InshaAllah.
So,
if you booked of course
to be in a group that has more
than 2 then you need to be to
expect
that you might be sleeping in one of
those beds.
I know that you might think you're gonna
be going, Masha, 5 star hotel, Jazema. So
what are you talking about? It's supposed to
be fancy.
Well,
there are a lot of requirements over there,
and rooms might not be as big as
you expect them to be if you have
them 4 or actually triplets, for example, in
that room. So therefore,
expect that the room is going to have
certain
limitations to the occupancy
and the configuration as well too. We have
no control over those configurations
and what kind of bed you're going to
be getting in in, in your hotel room.
So that's again on the local
provider.
Similarly, when it comes to the check-in, alhamdulillah,
over here you travel anywhere in the world,
you go easy to check-in, you spend maybe
a few minutes at the front desk and
then you get your keys and mashaAllah you
go straight to your room.
There, it's not going to be the same
because you're talking about bringing 2,000,000 people
within a very, very small window.
And these people right now, you have to
also alternate between the different packages.
So those who come to Medina first, Mecca
first, and then by the time the Madinah
people leave, the other group comes in. So
there is a lot of, you know, kind
of like chicken chicken in and chicken out.
So it's gonna be very hectic. So don't
expect to have the same smooth,
service that you get when you go to
one of those fancy hotels here, for example,
or resort over here or somewhere
else in the world. It's gonna take a
while. As you can see even the check-in
time has been pushed all the way to
5 PM which is unusual here. Right? But
that's because of the circumstance of the Hajj
as well too.
Even if you think that you're arriving early
is going to give you advantage to move
in sooner,
not necessarily. It really depends on the availability
of the room and
the traffic and the crowd, so be prepared
to wait a little bit. We'll try our
best, inshallah, to make your wait easy.
Your luggage,
depends on the package that you've,
you booked.
There's something called shifting or non shifting. So,
if you guys if you're gonna be keeping
your checked in luggage in the hotel, this
is for the non shifting package.
Or if you're shifting package, you're gonna be
carrying your luggage wherever you go.
So, therefore, it depends, but the recommendation is
to have 3 pieces.
So we'll have we'll have the the check-in
bag luggage, and you will have the,
the
the hand pieces basically, the rolled bag. And
also you have your handbag.
Make sure, especially for the handbag, for the
actually for the backpack,
make sure to keep it light because because
if you're gonna have to carry it on
your bag, you don't want the heavy weight
of the bag itself to add to the
material you put in it. So make sure
to do that InshaAllah.
Alright. So let's talk about another item of
the Hajj and the overview of it.
So this is basically what we're gonna be
covering right now in the next few slides
inshaAllah.
How we're gonna depart for Hajj? Arrival in
Madinah,
arrival in Jeddah, Mina,
Arafa,
staying in Arafa, Muzdalifa, and so on, until
we go to the end of Hajj al.
So, this is basically an overview where we're
going to be discussing
little bit more details right now. So, departing
for Hajj, may Allah make it easy for
all of us, you're Abu Al Amin.
Usually, if you're gonna be traveling international flights,
usually actually 2 hours sometimes would be more
than enough here in the f w. I
go 2 hours, 3 hours will be fine.
But when it comes to Hajj, you need
to probably maybe take a little bit extra
time,
especially
especially if you're going to be connecting somewhere
else.
So, therefore, that connection flight needs to also
be taken into consideration as well too.
And, if you're traveling on a domestic flight
to connect, let's say here or versus international,
do not check-in your luggage to Saudi Arabia.
Don't.
So if you're going through New York for
example, if you've been flying through DC for
instance,
pick up your luggage in DC, pick up
your luggage in New York, and then go
and check it in in the the airline
that takes you to Jeddah or to Medina.
That is better for you to ensure that
your bag will go with you to Medina
or to Jeddah.
That's the that's the advice we got, of
course, from the Yani, the travel agency. They
said it's better for you to take your
luggage there and then put them in the
international flight there,
better for you. Otherwise, if they get lost
in the domestic flight, God knows how we're
gonna be collecting that. So, it's gonna be
difficult and hard.
And I don't know how which airline you
guys will be gonna be traveling. Does everybody
they have their own package
and and which connection,
area or or airport you're gonna be in.
If you are going to Mecca first program,
how many of you guys are going Makkah
First?
Mashallah, quite a good number.
So if you're going to Makkah First that
means you probably maybe gonna be traveling later
than everybody else. Because those who go to
Mecca first, they're gonna go straight almost to
Hajj, and then they go to to Madinah
afterwards.
But those who go to Madinah first, they're
gonna travel earlier, 3, 4 days earlier before
the Mecca people actually travel to
their Surabia.
So make sure if you go to Mecca
first that your Haram is with you, your
Haram with you. Usually, the travel agency should
be providing that for you at the airport,
Insha'Allah,
or sending it by mail. So I don't
know if you guys have any communication with
them in regard to this issue, but just
be on standby if you didn't have that
to keep it with you, at least get
1, and be prepared for that,
In terms of the grooming,
the the shaving and and the and the
trimming and all that stuff, do it at
home.
There is no you're not gonna have time
to do it on the international yani hub
or, on the connection flight. So, make sure
to prepare yourself at home before you get
there in sha'a. Do I have to take
a shower? I hope so. I'm
gonna take a shower because it's gonna be
a long flight really, Annie. But do I
need to take a shower again in my
destination when I arrived in Jeddah or I've
been wherever?
If you wanna take a shower before you
go back to to do your umrah,
that's fine,
but you don't have to do that. You
can still go straight and shout to the
umrah
For the sisters, they don't have any issue
because they don't have to change anything. But
for the guys,
if you're gonna be traveling, inshaAllah, you're gonna
have the option to change on the plane
itself or changing,
you can be changing, in the connection
airport,
which is the international airport I would say.
If you're going through Istanbul for example, if
you're going through Frankfurt or any other destination
you can do it from there insha Allahu
Ta'ala.
What about making my intention for the hram?
The airline will let you know. So, they
will announce that you're gonna be passing by
this, Miqat. So, for example, if you're coming
from Istanbul,
they're gonna give you the direction. If they're
coming over Madinah, they will let you know
coming through Madinah, and if they're going through
Jiddah, they're gonna let you know before before
you arrive
Raba that you're gonna be coming closer to
the mikat, so you will be making your
intention for the for the Hajj inshaAllah ta'ala
or umrah, depends on what Hajj you're doing,
you're performing.
Those who arrive in Madinah right now. May
Allah make it easy for all of us,
you're Abi'alameen.
Obviously,
you need to make sure that you have
you take so much
of chill pills inshallah before you go there
because you need to be cool and need
to be to be patient. And, subhanAllah, the
nature of Hajj in itself, it tests your
patience beyond your
expected limit.
So, therefore, you need to be really really
extra careful
with the with the,
with your words and with your mood and
so on. Keep in mind, you're probably going
to be coming on an international flight, sleep
deprived,
cranky already, maybe hungry, or you want to
lose the bathroom, and all the caps are
combined probably.
So when you're gonna be standing in line
for the customs, it's gonna take a while.
So you need to be prepared to be
cool
and be prepared to do dhikr so that
you cool yourself down until you're done with
that process insha Allahu Ta'ala.
Once you're done from Madinah,
or from the customs insha Allah, you're gonna
go to collect your luggage, and after collecting
your luggage you will hopefully, you will be
going out.
The representative of the tribal agency will be
there for you. You will recognize them by
their, by their banners, by their vests, also
by their caps. So they have Al Burj,
for example,
Sira Ma'assim,
ablatif Jameel, so you know which provider that
you're going with and you will go with
them insha'Allah to add to the buses. If,
laqaddar Allah, you're missing a piece,
immediately report that.
So you report that, and by the way,
sometimes it's not really it's missing, it's just
being delayed in there and frankly, no one
really, yani, put it on the belt, unfortunately.
This happened with us in the Umrah last
year.
We were waiting for few pieces and everybody
got theirs and everybody left and we're just
waiting and waiting and waiting and eventually
one, hamdulillah, from the workers said,
look, wait over here. He went all the
way in there and he said they were
just waiting there on the side yard, no
one really pushed them on the belt. So
make sure to, before you leave, that you
explore that option as well, and if not
then report them before you leave to the
hotel InshaAllah.
So, depends on the group. You're going to
be obviously coming into groups together. Depends on
your group, you're going to be going to
the bus. Why? Because these buses are going
to be traveling from the hotel
to different
from the airport to different hotel destinations.
So, if you're not if you've never been
there before,
almost in the same area. But if you're
not familiar with it, you're going to easily
get lost. So I would say make sure
that you ride on the right bus that
will take you to the hotel that has
been assigned for you.
So those who need to go to Mecca
right away, because some people they land and
they have Makkah first, even though they might
land in Madinah as well too, by the
way. They will take you from the customs
and they will take you shot to transfer
you through the bus
to take you to the to the train
station. And alhamdulillah, the train station is beautiful
and smooth. It's just like a big airport
terminal, really. And, masha Allah, the the trains
are are beautiful. 2 and a half hours
maximum, you will be there in Mecca or
in Medina, depends on your destination and your
direction.
So here's
an overview of the Madinah Hotels.
Did you guys anyone got an assignment to
their hotels or not yet?
You got your assignments? Okay. Do you see
your hotels? If you don't see your hotel,
let me know. Okay.
So just to give you the idea and
the orientation over here,
so this this here,
this direction here is actually is north.
So this is where Uhud, the mountain of
Uhud will be here.
So this is basically the backside of the
Haram of the Mazin Nabi
The qiblah is here from this side.
The qiblah is here
which means,
Makkah is south and Quba is from this
direction over here. You see that road over
here takes you to Quba area.
But we're gonna, inshallah, as we come closer
there, we're gonna take you to all these
places,
Part of the program
is we're gonna do a tour around Mazin
Nabi to
talk about all these places and all these
different masajid that we'll see over here, this
small masajid, Mazal al Hammama, for example, that
comes over here. This is Al Baqiyyah, the
cemetery of Madinah, as well too.
And we're gonna be taking a shot over
these places. One of the beautiful
journey that we're gonna be doing is the
walk to Kaaba.
This is something they started
in Nur alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah, alhamin.
So, you take a walk over, it's about
an hour walk by the way, and if
you don't want to walk you can take
a golf cart, you can rent that, you
can
yeah, and you can have different ways to
get there inshaAllah.
But it's a nice beautiful walk, and it's
always recommended to do it in the evening
after Isha because it's cooler,
and it's still alive, alhamdulillah, by me. But
inshallah, when we get there,
with your guides, you'll be able to take
that beautiful journey with them. So like I
said over here,
these are now
the hotels. These are the most common hotels
we use actually together, the Movenpick,
Hilton,
and the Al Aqsaibah. Here, this one keeps
changing its name.
Sometimes, shahad al Madina, sometimes whatever, it keeps
changing actually.
But overall, these are the closest from the
backside of Mazin Nabi
So what do we need to do when
you get to Madinah? The most important thing,
get familiar with the number of that gate
that you'll be using to enter the masjid.
And as you can see here, they're very
visible
and very big.
So this is actually, this gate here exactly
is the exit when people leave from here
to go
to the cemetery, to Al Baqir,
and people that live here after saying salam
before the prophet
they come from here, and also
walking to
a Rawdah comes from this direction and they
get you there as well too.
Again,
I highly recommend that you document these these
spots using your phone,
which means
you can simply take a picture
and then on that picture
make sure to locate the location on it.
So like save the location on it. So
now, even if you get lost, hamdulillah, you
just go to the picture and just press
the location, I will send you where you
need to go.
Similarly, when you go to the hotel, the
first thing you do is make sure on
there, save that location on your phone. So
that if, laqaddallah, you get lost, you simply
go to that location, just press on it,
and it will take you to where you're
supposed to go, Insha Allahu Ta'ala.
I know that many people will be excited,
they want to go immediately to aquba, they
want to go immediately to
a
khandaq or even Uhud or Madinah and so
on, I highly recommend for you to take
it easy and just wait until you go
with your group insha Allahu Ta'ala.
If you want to go after by yourself
because you haven't had enough of it, I
want to spend more time, there is a
space, there is a place outside,
I would say here. So this is this
is Hilton, right? So this street over here,
this street over here, or actually, as a
matter of fact, it's gonna be this street
over here.
So, this street over here, on this corner,
on this corner, there's a bus station.
This bus station is a tourist bus station,
double deck, red bus station,
where they do they do the hop on
hop off tours to Medina.
There are 12
stations where they they hop on hop off.
They take you to Quba, they take you
to Al Kandab, they take you to the
major places, of course, of Madinah. They also
take you even to the shopping centers if
you want to go to.
And you can just go there and and
they rotate every 30 minutes,
which means if you want to spend 30
minutes here, you hop
out, spend as much time you want. If
not half an hour, you can spend an
hour and then you go back to the
bus station, the bus will come, move to
the next one, and you come back. And
it's for 85 riyals.
Even if you don't speak Arabic, they provide
16
digital languages.
You can simply plug they give you clean,
earphones. You can plug it into your seat
and choose the language you want, and you
can listen to the digital guide talking about
actually this. Also, for those who would like
to maybe take the experience of Madinah,
here in this area,
see these buildings, the red ones over here?
These 2 over here,
they have the Sira,
the Sira and Medina Museum,
Sira and Medina Museum. If you look them
up online, if you go look, for example,
Sira Museum in Medina,
you'll get the link over there. They have
tours.
They have tours,
and those tours will be guided by language,
so Arabic, English, Urdu, this language, and so
on. You can you can book
one of those sessions from this hour to
this hour and pay for it online, and
when the time comes, you go there, the
group gets together, they take you on a
tour into that museum. It's not a big
museum though. Don't expect it to be a
massive museum. It's small. For those who it
might not be
new information for many of us, but alhamdulillah
it's a good experience to get to know.
There's one about the Mazin Nabi
and there's one about the Sira in general.
So if you would like to take that
while you're staying there between the different events
that we'll have as a group, insha Allahu
Ta'ala, you can book these sessions and enjoy
that experience.
Now, going out from Madinah to Makkah, as
the time comes closer for us to leave
after Insha Allahu Ta'ala,
our providers
will take care of the luggage for us.
However, you need to be prepared to get
your luggage ready
maybe half a day before, actually,
the night before you leave to Makkah,
which means you need to make sure whatever
you don't need to use for the next
day, you put it in your check-in luggage
and you leave that outside of your door.
We will let you know of course when
the time comes, InshaAllah. So, you leave it
outside of your hotel room
and the service provider will come to pick
them up
and they'll ship them ahead of you to
Mecca.
So, the next day, inshaAllah, you'll only be
carrying with you your handbag and your probably
maybe backpack only. When you get to the
hotel in Mecca, inshallah,
you'll go and you take your take your
luggage and they will send it up to
you to your room bin nullahiyah zojal. So
you don't have to worry about any
of the hassle of taking luggage and so
on.
But obviously, if you're going to be leaving
things to be taken ahead of you, make
sure all your valuables stay with you, your
money, your medicine,
your chargers, all that kind of stuff, all
your documents obviously stays with you insha Allah.
Arrival in Jeddah for those who come straight
to Jeddah. So, what's gonna happen there? Same
thing would come to the immigration customs.
Maybe it's a short it's gonna be shorter
than going to Madinah because Madinah airport is
smaller than Jeddah airport, so you might have
faster
customs going through Jedd
If, laqaddar Allah, you lose any of your
luggage, the same process, make sure to report
that before it's too late.
Hopefully, inshallah, the representatives will be there to
help you and assist you to take you
to the right bus so that you go
to the right hotel when you go to
Mecca inshallah and make sure to keep all
your documents with you.
Transportation will be provided again by the
service providers who are local to that area
over there. Make sure to coordinate with them
about your hotel, so you don't go to
the wrong hotel when you get to Mecca.
It's easier in Madinah,
in one location, but in Mecca,
depends on the package.
If you're not in the clock tower,
because there are multiple hotels in the clock
tower, so it's easy even if you miss
it, you ride the wrong bus, you're gonna
get there anyway. But there are some hotels
that are gonna be a little bit farther
so that's all the ones that you need
to be aware of so when you move
there in Shiloh Hautei. We're gonna show a
map of it in a second.
If you're going to Madinah after you're arriving,
you arrived in Jeddah but your plan is
to be Madinah first.
The same thing. They're going to take you
from Jeddah and take you shot to the
train, and from there they send you to
Madinah, binillah, and there you will find them
to receive you there in Madinah Station and
take you to the hotel.
So here's now a map of
most of the hotels
that will be booked by the packages that
we provide here, Insha'Allah.
So if you don't, as you can see
here, this one is one of the farthest.
Here one is about 5 kilometers away
from from the Haram,
but most of those who took Alhamdulillah, the
Al Burj
or Abdulatif Jameel and Sira Mawasin, most likely
you guys are gonna be in the Clock
Tower.
So, there's a Vermont, there's Swiss Maqam and
then Swiss Hotel and and other major names
are in the same building Alhamdulillah.
And the beautiful thing about it, it's extremely
extremely convenient. You just come out from that
hotel
and then you walk
less than 5 minutes you're already at the
gate of the Haram. Of course when there
is no crowd, tawan. But if you would
like to be inside, you're going to have
to come way earlier.
Now, alhamdulillah,
and since
actually December as a matter of fact, the
expansion, which is this area over here,
actually this area here has already been, hamdulillah,
refurbished and opened,
so there is more space for Hijaz to
be in the shade and the climate area,
hamdulillah,
But I highly recommend for you if you
plan to go to the haram to stay
there inside instead of the sun being outside
in the sun, you need to go early.
You need to go early but again, pace
yourself, don't
rush yourself too much or push yourself too
much so you don't get sick, insha Allah
Anyone doesn't see their hotel over here?
So all your hotels are on the map?
Alhamdulillah. That's a good sign.
Alright.
By the way, that means we're gonna be
all seeing each other there. That's what it
means. Because if your hotel is not on
the map, God knows where you're going.
The Haram in Mecca, similarly like in Madinah,
make sure make sure
to
remember and memorize the gate number. As you
can see, there are gate numbers over here.
And also they they have names. So you
you memorize the name of the gate or
the number of the gate. Same thing, take
a picture of it, locate that, and make
sure to receive the location for it. So
if you had to, you just press the
location, get you there, InshaAllah,
easily.
A trick, I wanna teach you a trick
if you would like to, if anyone would
like to go and pray, let's say, Fajr
for example, or Isha, well, Isha, I don't
know, But Fajr at least, you would like
to pray on the on the roof,
whereas Masha'Allah there is Yani. The whole sky
above you and the wind is Masha'Allah, nice
beautiful breeze and so on. Alhamdulillah, if you're
in the
clock tower,
you come out of the hotel and you
walk straight into this direction, here. See this
area over here
is actually is this one here.
So, next to it, there's an escalator. I
think it's actually,
it's gate 19, I believe.
Gate 19 takes you on an escalator up
there, alhamdulillah, but if you want to be
praying upstairs,
during umrah time, you had to be there
at least an hour and a half before
fajr time. So you can they can allow
you to go there.
But during Hajj, you're probably gonna have to
go the yeah, the follow before, a day
before probably to get there, Alaa, or camp
up there.
But, you need to measure yourself and pace
yourself properly, Insha'Allah.
Now,
haram is always carved obviously during Hajj time.
So, if you think that, you know what,
I'm just going to go and stay in
the sun because it's just a matter of
waiting for the adhan and the iqama and
it's about 20 minutes only, those are 20
dangerous moments.
Because if the sun is going to keep
blasting over your head and you can see
the whole floor is white, which means all
the heat and the sun is reflecting back
upwards on you when you're sitting there, that's
gonna be very difficult and dangerous. So, be
careful that you have, alhamdulillah, at least you
have an umbrella with you. I don't know
if they allow them right now, but at
least have an umbrella to cover you in
the sun, InshaAllah.
And, it's very important
to communicate and go to the WhatsApp groups
and see what the guides are saying and
where to meet and when to meet. Be
with the guide group insha Allahu Ta'ala. Even
if you've been there and say, khalas, I'm
good, I can do it by myself. It's
always better to have somebody with you. So,
lakadirullah, if something happens at least we are
informed
who was the last person with and where
you've been and all that kind of stuff.
Checking out of Makkah Hotel for Manasek right
now. So, Alhamdulillah,
we're in Makkah, we're ready right now to
start our Hajj, Insha'Allah
for the 8th of Hudal Hijjah. So, there
are 2 systems, there's the people who call
the shifting program and those who have non
shifting program. How many of you guys have
booked shifting program?
1, 2,
3.
Okay. So very few. So the shifting program,
that means you guys are not going to
keep your hotel when you go to MENA.
You're going to keep carrying your stuff with
you.
So because there is no place for you
to go back to in Makkah. But for
those who have done non shifting program,
even when you move to Mina, the tents
in Mina, you're gonna keep your rooms in
Makkah.
So, by the time we're done we go
back again to the hotel, Alhamdulillah, so you
can easily keep all your luggage except for
your, maybe, backpack. You take it to Mina
and take it to Arafa throughout the night
and the day, depends on the season, or
the the moment, and the and the ibadah.
And then you can go back again during
the day to your hotel in Mecca, and
if you want to pray duhr and Asr
there in the Haram, and then come in
the evening back to Mina and so forth.
So that's the big difference between shifting program
and non shifting program. So the shifting program,
they don't have that that privilege.
So they don't have a hotel room in
Mecca when they move out of it, but
the non shifting, they keep their their luggage
in their hotel rooms.
So here making sure that you take everything
with you so that you don't have you
don't lose them if you if you come
back to them. I know that some people
might say, well, alhamdulillah, I have my cousin,
I have my friend, I have this, I
would like to keep it in their room.
That's on you.
So if you would like to keep your
stuff with somebody else, that's that's up to
you, Allahu alaam.
As for the non shifting programs, so you
only pack the essentials with you. So when
you go to Mina and you go to
Arafa the next day, and then Muzdalifa back
the night after, and then come back to
Mina. So you're gonna have about 2 days,
almost 2 days, I would say, will be
on the road from Mina to Arafa and
then coming back.
But you're going to keep your checked and
luggage in the room
Some of us or some people, they might
want to skip Mina, Mina Day, which is
Yomutariah 8th. So they will stay that extra
day in Makkah
and they go straight to Hajj on Arafah
day.
So that something is gonna be surveyed by
the
the the the the the the provider, the
service providers, to know how many people are
going on 8th and how many people are
going on 9th. So they will have actually
both options there, Insha'Allah.
Now
we're moving out of the hotel, we move
it to Mina. Obviously, the 8th day of
the the 8th day of the Hijjah
is the official day of Hajj,
the official day of Hajj,
which means even if you did umrah before
you took off your haraam, this is when
you start putting your haraam back on and
you make your intention for Hajj and you
move to Mina. So, this is the 1st
the official day of Hajj, and I wanna
show you where exactly it's going to be
over here. So if you look,
there are different, of course, packages.
Some of us have been
booked for what they call Majar al Kapsh,
Majar al Kapsh,
and some others are in Al Amayasen,
Mayasim.
How many of you guys are in Al
Muayasim?
What about Majar al Kapsh?
Okay. So you can see the difference right
now. Right?
Majal al kapsh, if you're in Majal al
kapsh and probably this is maybe a higher
package
because you're right outside of Jamarat.
But if you're in Al Masim,
they're gonna bring you by bus
to the Jamarat and take you back again
to the Marysarim
camp. So, that's something you're gonna keep in
your mind. Some of us might say, well,
I don't want to go by bus because
it takes too long, you know, going into
traffic very slow and so on. I'd rather
walk.
Well, you might see on the map it's
it looks very easy, just one highway here
and then just turn right, alhamdulillah,
we're there. Good luck finding you in the
middle of the crowd.
So be careful. It can easily easily get
lost
because everything looks alike. Every turn, every tent,
every sign, every person
looks like somebody else like you saw just
few seconds ago. So if you say, well,
that guy looked like the guy you saw
over there,
Be careful, they're gonna all be shaved, they
all look alike.
So make sure
to stay with your group
So, Alhamdulillah,
that's to show you where the the jamarat
are going to be. We're gonna show how
the the the process is going to be.
It's gonna be very easy. So you're gonna
be walking from here, going up
the ramp, and then go to the jamarat,
and you finish, and you come back down
here, and back again into your tent.
This is for for Majal al Kaapsh. But
for the Ma'i Islam, they're gonna bring you
by bus, and your bus is gonna be
stopping here, and you're gonna be able to
go up the ramp, inshallah, and go back
to your buses, and go back again to
your camp, and so on.
So just again another view to show you
the proximity
of this is Majal Khabs. There are 2
camps, there is camp A and camp B.
I'm not sure which one you guys are
booked for but eventually they are in that
area over here, very close, alhamdulillah, area. So
when you come out, you're gonna be coming
out from that direction, and you're gonna be
walking here and going back again to your,
to your place. And you can see the
buses here,
all these buses that come, they drop off
the hujad and pick them up again, take
them to their tents.
So, what do you expect in Mina tents?
This is now one town that's
gets erected in
1 season, in 1 month and then disappears
after that. When you go to Umrah to
Mina, it's empty.
But later after that, after Ramadan, mashaAllah, it
just becomes alive with all the amenities and
all the businesses and all the facilities and
services
are fully there. So,
tent spaces, usually
they're
not as big as the Arafah tents, but
at least they're allocated for people. You're gonna
be receiving
simple bedding.
So if you're used to
an 18 inch
fancy beautiful mattress,
electric mattress or memory foam, you're going to
have to leave that luxury behind. And I
suggest you start preparing yourself by taking a
sleeping bag for the next few weeks
and sleep on the floor at home. Get
your body adjusted to that kind of rough
environment insha Allahu.
They're gonna provide basic stuff for you. Basic
of course, foam, sleeper, and pillow, and cover,
and so on.
You will be
at a designated area for you. Now there
is no specific number like this is your
spot and this is your spot. I think
it's gonna be actually first come first any
catch.
So, but that doesn't mean to go and
fight everybody for the prime spot
next to the air conditioning
or away from the entrance or next to
the sheikh or
don't fight for that stuff. Whatever you get
at Jema Alhamdulillah, we're all in the same
tent, the same camp, we're going to be
able to see each other inshaAllah and communicate
with another.
One thing that you need to keep in
mind is that men and women will be
separate.
So that means you need to make sure
that your phones are always charged so you'll
be able to communicate with your family. Hey,
meet me outside the tent. Let's meet in
that place or that place so you don't
get lost here.
And, still going to be hot, but alhamdulillah,
they're climate
intense. What should you take with you? You're
not gonna take that checked in luggage with
you and that's for the non shifting, obviously.
The shifting, they have different system for them
over there. But non shifting, you're gonna keep
your luggage in Mecca, but you're going to
take only the it depends what you want
to carry with you. If you want to
take the,
on a rolling
board
bag, if you want to just take a
backpack with you, will you carry the essentials
for you? You need to make sure
that if you're staying Mina, 8th,
Hudhul Hijjah and then Arafa, 9th,
So you're going to be taking with your
stuff,
2 and a half, I would say, 2
and a half,
2 and a half days,
2 and a half days material.
Obviously, you're gonna be having 1 eharam so
you may need to have one change after
you're done everything, for everything. In terms of
your
prayer mat, if you would like to carry
a hard copy, mushaf or aujbud on your
phone, dua,
book, and so whatever that you need, you
need to prepare the 2 and a half
days for that.
Because once we're done for the for the
non shifting, you're gonna be going back again
to the hotel to change and everything and
so on.
I don't know why they want us to
talk about this but
the Americans are always the one who complain
the most.
So, they want you to know that in
the bathrooms in your camp area,
they have North American bathroom toilet styles,
which means seats obviously,
not the hole in the ground.
They have they have it done in a
way that will
be acceptable and at least convenient
for those who come from these areas.
And by the way, just a recommendation. So
when you go there and you need to
take a shower,
obviously,
you know that you have thousands of people
waiting in line. So, make sure it's not
Jan your American shower where you just put
yourself under the water until you feel great
and then you come out.
No. This is just about refresh
and leave right away
because you have hundreds of people waiting in
line to get in.
Now,
food,
even though it's a temporary city, Mina,
there are a lot of food stations,
but insha'allah, of course, the service providers, alhamdulillah,
they have
they provide, of course, the food for you.
There are tea and coffee station and all
that stuff and so on. Now here's the
thing though,
we're asking it to stay hydrated, of course,
there's no doubt about it. But too much
caffeine means too much visits to the bathrooms.
And obviously, the bathrooms are not always free
like you might think. So somehow,
if you have an experience with going to
Hajj, there are specific
time windows
where the best way you could go and
use the bathroom.
And that's when many people may be sleeping,
napping, or, in the heat of the day,
everybody doesn't want to go out there. So
those are the prime times actually to use
the restroom so you can, hamdullah,
don't have to stand in line when everybody
else says, okay, it's cool enough right now
for me to go out. So, make sure
to be strategic about visitation of the bathrooms
there, Insha'Allah.
We're asking you, of course, for the sake
of keeping healthy
and not causing any
outbreak of any sickness or illness, that to
keep hygiene. I know it's it's a hamdah,
it's a given thing for the Muslims, inshaAllah,
to do that. But unfortunately, you see a
lot of people coming from different places, different,
you know, traditions and cultures might not be
at the same level of sanity sanitation and
so on. But we ask you to help
each other to keep the place clean.
If you eat, you're not going to eat
in the tent where people sleep because over
there
the ants will be all over the place.
So, make sure that you keep things clean
inshallah, and using the dedicated places for that,
inshallah, alzabuja.
Also,
like I said the bathrooms
it's not for you to spend too much
time over there because other people are going
to be there, so it's not time to
wash. You send your wash your clothes and
all that kind of stuff. That's when there
is not many people are using the services
and stay there insha Allahu Ta'ala with dikr,
O Allah Now,
Alhamdulillah, we spend the 8th of the Hijjah.
They spend the 8th of Hijjah in Mina
and there the son of the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam is to pray Dhuhr, Turaka,
Asur Turaka,
Maghribtiraka,
Isha Turaka,
Fajr of course obviously to Raqqa, and then
sometime there during the morning, before that, before
Duhr time, the Prophet will leave Mina and
go to Arafah.
Alhamdulillah,
now it is not like before where people
need to walk or take buses because back
then taking the bus was just useless really
because you'd be sitting there for 5, 6
hours on the bus because
it's not moving.
Hijaz are walking through and cars are jammed
and all the no matter how big the
highways are, it's just it's too many people.
So, alhamdulillah we have what we call
the masha'ar train, which is you take the
train InshaAllah there are different stations and as
you can see over here, there is a
station that comes from Mina
through Musdalifa to Arafah. So on the way
out from Mina, you're not gonna stop in
Musdalifa.
We're going to go straight to Arafa.
But on the way back from Arafa, you're
going to be stopping in Mustalifa and then
from there after that, you take the train
again to go to Mina so you can
do your jamarat and tawaf and so on.
So,
this is now so far, so far, tentatively
I would say, station number 3.
This is the station that is allocated for
our groups.
If that changes, you're gonna hear about it
on the WhatsApp groups, of course,
But for now, station number 3 is the
one that is designated over there, and I
will show it to you
here. So if you look here at the
map,
so this is
our Mina camp, which is the,
the Majal al Kepsh.
Jimarat are
here. So when you go, you're gonna be
taking the the bus
to, I mean, you're gonna be walking to
the Mina station 3, that's the farthest one,
which is the closest to us, obviously.
And then the train is gonna go all
the way through the Muzdalifah stations
all the way to Arafa.
So that's that's going to be our route
going to Arafa.
And then inshallah on
the way back will be the opposite.
So
this is where we're gonna go, how you're
gonna take the, the train. So, you're gonna
leave the,
the camp, we're gonna walk as if we're
gonna go to the Jamarat, but instead of
going to the Jamarat, you're gonna continue on
that ramp to go all the way down,
turn around, and go to the bus, the
the the train station.
And that's number 3 is gonna be over
here. Station number 3 is gonna be over
here, so he's gonna take us inshallah to
Araf Abhinulillahi
So, how we're going to be going? There's
of course a whole system of crowd
control.
You're not going to go at your own
convenience, you're going to go when when they
give you your number and you give you
the time window for you. So you're going
to be on standby, waiting the instructions from
your guide, The guide will be in communication
with the whole
operation
group. They will let you know that, hey,
group this and that, you need to leave
between this hour and this hour. And it's
very strict,
which means if you miss the window because
you wanted to take a nap or you
want to go and take a bite or
grab a cup of coffee and you missed
the train, you're on your own.
So make sure to be with your group
during that difficult time because everybody needs to
be together so we can live together insha
Allahu Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala. Don't take much of
your valuables,
keep them in the hotel if you have
a shift a non shifting
program,
or if you're gonna be going out, then
keep them with you. That's why it's important
to keep that bag, insha Allahu Ta'ala, with
you, or this small bag, a fanny bag,
or
a built bag that you put your valor
with there, insha Allahu Ta'ala.
When you go, inshallah, on the way back
from Arafa, you're gonna receive a tiny
sleeping bag because you're not going to spend
too much time in al Mustalifa. Some people,
they're going to be spending a few hours
until past midnight and then leave. And others,
they will be only staying until Fajr, which
is not still not a very long time.
So that's why they don't really need to
have a big accommodation in terms
of tents or even
you know all the amenities you need just
to go comfort of sleeping.
In Arafah right now. So we took the
train all the way to Arafah. What do
we expect over there?
Alhamdulillah,
also
one of the advantages in the in the
American European camps, also your camp is very
close to the to the train station. So,
you're going to get off the train station,
you're going to be walking a little bit
distance, Insha'Allah,
and there are no buses over there to
take you from that station to, to the
camps. You're going to have to get used
to that. And, I really, really recommend for
you, in the in the next few days
or weeks until you go to Hajj InshaAllah,
please
go out and walk for half an hour
or more.
Exercise,
at least walking. If you can walk an
hour a day, that's awesome.
Half an hour in the morning, half an
hour in the afternoon, get yourself excited, get
yourself exercise as well too, and get ready
so that when this time comes, inshallah, you're
not out of breath all the time or
fatigued. At least your body is adjusting to
this, Keep in mind that it's
hot, so the exercise here,
it might be that temperature is still cooler
than there, So whatever you exercise, I think
that you should do more here before you
get there. So at least when you get
there, insha Allahu Ta'ala, it's easier for you.
Alhamdulillah,
the the camps,
since it's going to be only just for
the day not for the whole, not more
than few hours, so they don't make them
small tent, they make them big tent to
accommodate many many people groups together. So we're
going to be in big groups. And Arafa
but alhamdulillah
there are AC units
saying not water cooled units because that means
it's not going to be humid. It's going
to be a climate like this, hamdulillah. I
hope so InshaAllah.
There's a hamdulillah indoors carpeting area, outside there's
a mashallah, nice beautiful majalis for people who
like to go and be out there in
the open as well too.
The food, you're not going to worry about
it, catered,
clean, and it's going to be open for
the public. As a matter of fact,
the food that's provided during those times and
those hours is just so good that sometimes
you feel guilty.
Like it's like, Hajjima,
we come for Hajj Ali, we're not coming
for
for this. But, nirma, alhamdulillah, bless him from
Allah.
The day of Arafah is the most important
day for you. The prophet
says, Al Hajj U Arafah,
the essence of Hajj is Arafah itself. So
therefore you better do it
right. And you do it from the very
beginning And
it's the main purpose for us to be
there. The prophet mentioned the hadith on that
day, Allah
in a manner that suits his majesty. He
overlooks his creation.
Those who come to Arafah there.
And he hears their cries and their pleas
and all what they're asking, and Allah will
ask the angels and Allah knows the answer
already. He goes, what are these people looking
for? Talia Arab, they came here to ask
you for your mercy for Rahman's son. And
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, he says
to the angels,
you be my witness I have forgiven them
all their sins.
You need to make sure that on that
moment your heart is really in the right
place.
Your heart, your mind,
your your effort and that's why the night
before when you're in Mina, please make sure
to get some rest.
Also, if you have to get rest on
the day of Arafah especially if you went
to Arafah earlier than than usual
make sure to take your rest in the
morning before Duhur time
because the official time for Arafah begins after
Duhr.
So you are from between Duhr time until
sunset.
This is your golden opportunity.
So you make your dua, your adkar, your
ibadah, your and so on. So what do
you do in Arafa?
I mean it's always better to to be
on your own because that's now it's a
very private time between you and Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala and I want to be by
on my own. So instead of socializing and
talking with friends and so forth, you're gonna
kill that time and you're gonna lose it,
really.
But it doesn't mean you cannot talk, you
cannot, you know, discuss with people. You can.
But this is the most valuable time for
you right now.
And if you have a dua list, this
is the time we'll take it out, start
making the dua.
If you would like to read Quran, you
can read Quran,
you can make dhikr, you can just contemplate,
you can
whatever you want to do, alhamdulillah, you can
do it inshaAllah and there's so much higher
in it inshaAllah. Are you allowed to talk
to people? Are you allowed to take a
nap? Yes.
But
again, do your best to keep that time
allocate for the tah and the Ibadah.
And, I know that some people get very
excited and they say, you know what, I
want to go to Masjid Namira.
I want to see where the prophet was.
I want to go to the Mount of
Rahma,
that hill that in the middle of or
at least in the corner of Arafas field.
I'm gonna go there. And you think it's
gonna be easy for you to go there
and come back again. Please don't try that.
Yeah. And you can visit that mountain when
you go to Umrah when there's nobody there.
You can easily go climb it and take
pictures and come back again, InshaAllah, we're gonna
still find you. But if you go during
the Hajj time because you think you you're
gonna get there, you're gonna be doing this
on your own.
Even if you have a GPS, this can
be really really confusing because you know these
these tents,
there are not so many paths in between.
So sometimes you're gonna have to go all
the way up and come all the way
down
and in between you're gonna get lost. So
make sure to calculate
your trip properly inshallah.
Once
we're done with Arafa and the sun goes
down that's when people move. I always recommend
for people, because not many people do that
actually,
if you know that you're going to be
leaving in an hour or so, this is
the time for you to go and make
wudu and prepare yourself or use the restroom
at least
because you might not have much time really
in between.
And there isn't, once you go to the
to the train station there isn't much, you
know, facilities to to use. So make sure
before you move out of Arafa,
you relieve yourself, you take care of yourself
and then you move on. Do you have
to have wudu
all the time? No. Even on Arafa,
you don't have to have wudu. So even
if you lose your wudu, can I still
make dua and dikir? Of course, you can.
It's always better to have tahara of course
but if not then hamda yuf we should
be fine
And
since everybody is going to be leaving together,
it's not like
the days before, some people that came a
day before, some people that came the day
after to Arafa. Now, everybody's leaving together.
No one is staying behind. So therefore, it's
going to be much crowded than usual. So
be prepared to stand for long lines and
that means you're going to need to teach
yourself to have dhikr and just kind of
like, alhamdulillah,
be okay.
Adding to this, of course, we're going to
be a group of usually 45 people per
guide. So, when you have 45 people, out
of the 45, maybe, alhamdulillah,
43, they're doing well, 2 might be ill,
elders,
fatigued,
you know, they're not feeling at their best.
So we're going to have to walk at
the pace of the weakest.
That's what the prophet taught us to do.
He said, the weak one is the amir
of the group which means you go by
the pace of the weakest so we can
all get together
In Musdalifa,
Now Musdalifa for a very very very very
long time
had no
enough bathrooms for the hujads
because they didn't expect people to stay long.
You only stay for a couple of hours,
a few hours, and then leave. So they
did not really have much facilities. Alhamdulillahirabbahim
in the past couple of years, especially during
COVID, they made a lot of improvement to
Muzdalifa area. So now when you go to
Hajj, there are a lot of bathroom facilities.
Even though you're just spending a few hours
there, it will be good Insha'Allah. Also,
there's a hamdul room enough for people to
spend the night over there before they walk
back to Mina.
Make sure
I don't know about eating during that time,
but if you don't have
a proper meal, then at least have again
energy bars with you. So you can eat
something, so in the next day you shall
have a long day to go and a
lot of activities to go through.
There will be 2 departures from there were
2 times of departure and that's what's going
to be communicated to you through your guide,
obviously.
Depends on the age and the health condition
and and the the you know, usually they
take the ladies earlier
and the guys stay behind.
If you have children they take you also
earlier. If you have elders, people who are
ill they go earlier. As the prophet
did, he allowed the women, the elderly, the
sick people, and the children to move past
midnight,
earlier than usual. But as those, alhamdulillah, they
have the health and the strength and so
on, they should stay there until they pray
Fajr.
And once they pray Fajr, Mash'a Al Haram,
they make dikr until before sunrise, and then
they start marching towards Mina to do their
jamra and then to Mecca to do their
tawafl I fada, inshaAllah. So, same thing, we
come back, alhamdulillah,
via the train station.
And by the way, if anyone wants to
walk on their own, feel free, but it's
gonna be on you.
And, hamdulillah, when I was much younger,
I've done 4 of these hajj, hamdulillah,
walking.
Didn't use buses. There was no trains back
then.
It's really not that like it's impossible
but it can really be difficult. Like one
of those Hajj SubhanAllah as we start coming
closer to Mina
from Mus Delifa we used to be walking
while I was with my roommate, we used
to be together. So as we were walking,
it started becoming crowded and we could see
the jamarat from distance.
So we thought to ourselves, you know what,
we're going to skip the jamarat
and we're going to go straight to do
Tawaf al Ifada in Makkah and then come
back in
in the in the late afternoon to do
our jamarat and then we stay there in
Mina. So we just changed our plan.
We go to the left and we start
walking
trying to go to Makkah. Although we were
supposed to be going on this path that
is going to take you straight to Makkah.
SubhanAllah,
we went to the
man,
it was crazy crazy journey. It took us
hours because we were going behind the mountains.
And we see the hajjaj walking, we just
walk around everybody.
By the time we got there, we couldn't
even open our eyes or even actually stand
on our feet.
And I used to laugh sometimes seeing some
Hijjah just sleeping in the middle of nowhere.
Like
why are you sleeping here?
That's what happened to us as well too.
We reach a point, you walk walking between
Safa and Marwa
and I'm just falling asleep while I'm walking.
It's like, what's happening here? So be careful.
Do not stay away from your group, otherwise
you're gonna end up in the wrong gani
path that takes you way far from where
you're supposed to be.
Just to give you some landmarks
so you can remember them.
There's a when you finish your jamarah, when
you come back actually, as you try to
come back your mom, masha'Allah, to the camp,
always remember there is
a house of donuts and albake over here.
These are from Manasik al Hajj.
You have to go and try, right?
Otherwise, your Hajj will be incomplete.
But this is basically just some landmarks in
that area will remind you when you reach
there,
you're close to your camp. So you just
continue to walk and go to your camp
in Al Azhar. So you're gonna have to
come from this side and go in here
and go to your tents inshallah.
Now,
in order for us to understand what the
process is, so
Alhamdulillah, you will always have, inshaAllah,
the good transportation, inshaAllah, that's been provided
which will be air conditioned, insha Allah. And
that's between
going to Tawaf Alifada, means when you go
to Madinah,
I mean
to Mina and you do your jamarat
then they will take
you through buses to go to do Tawaf
Elifada unless you're going to walk on your
own. If you want to walk on your
own, that's up to
you. But if you walk, by the way,
it takes at least
if there's not much traffic of
pedestrians,
it will take you at 45 minutes to
an hour to reach Makkah,
but of course you're going to be walking
so it's not going to be easy. You're
going to arrive difficult and tired. So, you
might be resting and if you have a
non shifting program, you can go to the
hotel and get some rest, and then you'll
tawaf later if you want to. If you
need, you can take shower and take off
your clothes and put your, civilian clothes and
go do tawaf wearing your civilian clothes as
well too. But But all of this is
gonna be communicated to you inshaAllah with your
group so we can do it together depending
on how we're gonna decide to do it
inshaAllah.
So, you're gonna use the the bus will
be provided inshaAllah ta'ala for Tawaf Alifada,
Tawaf Al Wada and also when you finish
your Hajj and take inshaAllah ta'ala to the
train station or to the airport.
So,
there's no yet guaranteed schedule now, so this
all of this right now is just tentative,
depends on the the schedule that is gonna
be given to us by the service provider,
InshaAllah
Just make sure to be with your group
and remember your group
number
and also your bus number as well too.
So, you're going to be,
inshallah, giving this information as the time comes
closer to it.
Now, those who are the non shifting program
who have hotel rooms in Mecca,
so during the day,
you will have the comfort of sleeping in
your hotel room in your bed.
And you can pray duhr in in Halam
in Makkah, you can pray Asr,
but you need to be back before Maghrib
and Mina. So you need to pray Maghrib
and Mina at least. That's better for you.
Again, that will be communicated
So you can perform tawafiri father on that
day or delay it a little bit at
your convenience inshaAllah, all this will be communicated.
So now after this, what happens?
So what happens after this is that we're
all gonna be doing the same thing.
We need to spend the night in Mina.
Now, spending the day, that's up to you.
The shifting program, they will most likely gonna
be spending day night in Mina. But the
non shifting program who have hotel rooms in
Mecca, they will probably gonna spend the night
in Mina and then come back during the
day to spend it in the hotel in
Mecca, and then the night go back again
to Mina and then come back again to
Makkah. So, that's going to be actually being
the case for the 11th,
12th, and then the last will be 13th
to leave insha Allah
if you stayed that extra day, Binilayya Azawajal.
So again, your requirement
every day after that
is to go to Mina and do the
jamarat.
So you're gonna be doing the 3 jamarat,
the smaller one, the middle one, and the
major one, and then spend the night in
Mina or most of the night in Mina.
You can wait until you pray Fajr and
leave, or you can leave right before Fajr,
so you go to to your hotel
in Makkah,
rest again for the day, so you can
spend the night in again with the strength
and energy
for mina. Once we're done with the last
day,
after that, then you go back to the
hotel, depends on your program and your schedule.
You might need to do Taaf al Wada
and then head back immediately to the airport
or you might be spending an extra day
before you do so.
So, obviously, Jamarat is gonna be crowded. Alhamdulillah,
they have multiple layers right now and even
the space itself where you can throw the
jamarat is being expanded
so that, alhamdulillah, there will be no problems
with that. But even with such a very
great space and organization, when you have 2,000,000
people doing this in the same time, it's
gonna be difficult. So prepare always to
walk through the crowd and making sure to
also pace yourself.
And if you think it's a good idea
to go in this time for Jamarat,
you're going to see about 2,000,000 other people
think in the same way.
So don't always expect like, this is brilliant.
No, I don't want to go to because
everybody's gonna be going now. Let me go
2 hours later.
Probably everybody thinking the same thing. So, be
careful, it's gonna always be crowded.
Alhamdulillah, it's very easy and convenient for those
who come from Majal al Kapsh.
And again, Al Mu'asim,
you guys are gonna be coming with rotor
buses on the highway here, King Fahad Road,
and and the bus will stop here,
and they will take you back again to
your camp. But if you're in Majar el
Kepsh, you're simply gonna be walking out,
going to the ramp, and go all the
way up, and then throw the jamarat, the
minor one, the
the the, the middle one, and then the
major one, and then inshaAllah you just gonna
turn around and go back again to your
tent.
Very simple and very easy, insha Allah.
And then again a reminder, when you're done,
the highlight of the area and you go
to your tent.
As for the end of the Hajj,
so we depart from Mina on 13th insha
Allahu Ta'ala
for the Aziziyyah,
or the hotels basically,
for perform Tawaf Al Wada. Again, depends if
you're going to Madinah
or going to the airport after
that.
Many many people, of course, they have their
own plans maybe after this, They have relatives
to go to attaif, they want to go
to jiddah, whatever that is. Halas, once those
days are done, the rest is on you
to manage your trip afterwards, InshaAllahu ta'ala. For
the non shifting programs,
departing from Mina to Makkah on 12th
which means you're going to be leaving a
day earlier
to do the final jamarat,
make tawaf and take you straight to the
airport from there inshallah
Those who ask about Zamzam,
I don't recommend for you to take the
hassle of going and fill it up yourself.
There are filling stations around the Haram,
but please don't yani by yourself for that.
The service provider will give insha Allah every
Hajj Well, you will receive 1
of these boxes or these bottles, alhamdulillah, boxed.
And you will be able you will receive
it in the airport as you're about to
leave. So, you get your bottle insha'Allah,
you take it to the check-in station,
they will check it for check it in
for you and it's gonna be a separate
luggage. Don't don't worry about it. It's not
gonna be counted as one of your luggage.
But make sure to write your name on
it so that, insha Allah, it will be
shipped to your final destination. When you arrive,
you'll find them there pick up your your
bottle and go home with
it. Dates, the same thing.
Especially in Medina, obviously, it's where where the
good date is. But Maqat has a good
date as well too. Where do you get
that date from? Look, you can go to
farms in Madinah if you want to, but
for convenience, just go to the stores next
door. Yeah. They might be a little bit
higher in terms of prices, but it's convenience
for you. And make sure to choose
well boxed dates or if you buy loose
dates make sure that they seal it for
you. They have machines where they can seal
it for you inshallah that are in boxed
and plastic.
And then you take it home. When you
get home, they're gonna ask you, what do
you have with you? Some dates. And Alhamdulillah
it's allowed so even customs will allow you
to get it in Insha'Allah and no problem.
Now, finally Insha'Allah, and I'm gonna go over
this quickly and then allow you for questions
Insha'Allah.
Few things we need to be make sure
that we prepare ourselves for, specific checklists. Number
1, your documentation.
Valid passports,
make sure to keep it with you at
all times. So you need to make sure
that you have a small fanny bag or
whatever that you have with you, or sometimes
for the guys if you guys have
those cargo pants,
where they have nice beautiful, you know,
lot
of zipper pouches and so forth, you just
kind of keep your passport with you at
all time. But be careful,
don't get wet so you don't actually lose
it. So if you if you think that
you're gonna get wet because it's hot, you're
gonna pour water over your body, put your
your passport in a plastic bag in your
pocket so it doesn't get wet. Same thing
for the sisters, keep it in a plastic
bag just in case so it doesn't get
wet. And anyone who is on a green
card or any other
legal visa and so on, make sure that
you have it also with you at all
times, so don't lose it because if you
lose it, I don't know how you're gonna
fly back. So, please make sure to keep
it with you, InshaAllah.
Your tickets,
and that's an interesting thing about flying out
of Jeddah or out of Madinah, depends on
the season.
Usually, when you go to the airport, 4
hours
before departure time is enough.
During Hajj time,
no.
It's gonna be 12 to 16 hours.
So you're gonna need to spend the whole
almost a whole day at the airport. So
please take caution,
so don't think that you still have time.
It happened with me and my wife. First
time I took her with me to Hajj,
we were leaving Mecca to the airport and
we thought it was about actually
I don't know, maybe there was about 8,
10 hours. It's too early, so we stayed
a little bit longer. We arrived there, it
was about 6 hours. So, we waited and
in the terminal before we went to the
check-in, yani,
desk.
4 hours before the flight, I go to
the check-in desk. I said, we're checking in,
we're going to Amman.
The guy, he looks at me and he
just goes like this.
I'm like, what?
What does that even mean? He goes, now
you're coming? I said, what do you think?
Is it still 4 hours? Habibi, this is
Hajj.
You need to be here yesterday.
I'm like, what?
What are you talking about? We were sleeping
in the terminal all day. We could have
actually gone on the flight but we thought
4 hours would be enough. He goes, no,
I'm sorry. And, wallahi, we stayed for another
18 hours
before we're able to secure a flight to
go out. So be careful guys,
Don't think that it's gonna be easy. So,
you're gonna have to be early there and
you're gonna have to spend some time at
the airport. And, InshaAllah, we'll we'll get some
good
interaction with each other as a community, inshaAllah.
Also, make sure to have the valid
immunization that they require from you before you
go there.
Cash,
many of us will be probably using
their credit cards,
you're gonna use your,
your watch for that,
alhamdulillah, everywhere you go they take card. That's
easy.
But sometimes you're gonna need to take cash
with you because some services require cash right
away. And, alhamdulillah, there are a lot of
stations there where you can do money exchange.
It's good, It's gonna be a big problem.
But if you're gonna be taking cash with
you, keep in mind that the new versus
the old $100
bill have different rate.
Just to let you know, the older one,
you're gonna lose a few yani cents on
it or a few yani riyals.
So always try to go to the bank
and get those crispy, nice, beautiful green ones.
Okay?
And also,
the $100
gets you a better rate than a $50,
$20, or even actually $10.
So the $100 gets you a better rate,
so make sure to keep that in mind
as well, inshallah.
Any medication you need. I highly recommend for
you to take health and medical kit with
you, small one. That has most of the
essentials that you need for. Whether it's
for diarrhea, lakadrullah,
antiacid, you know, if you need something, aspirin,
Vaseline, all these things and so on, keep
that with you, and be prepared. Although, alhamdulillah,
they have them there, they have them there,
and usually there in that country, it's not
like here you have to have prescription for
it. Many medication, you don't even have to
have the prescription. The pharmacist can tell us,
what do you have? I have this, I
have that, I have this. Okay. Take this,
take this, take this. They act like
doctors, engineers, and everything in between.
So, you can get the medication easy inshallah.
As for
the Haram, I highly recommend for you to
if anyone is spending more time like 23
days or so maybe 2 sets will be
good for you. But 1 should be enough,
but 2 just in case. In terms of
slippers and sandals, make sure to get something
that is comfortable. I know people are worried
about the maghid
but the maghid doesn't
mean it has stitches or no stitches. Al
maghid
means fitted like this. Which means this is
makhrid because it's fitted around my
arm. If I take this off and I
wrap my waist with it, that works as
an haram
Because now I'm not fitting it into my
legs or my hands. So, that's what I
mean to fit it. So, if you have
stitches in a sandal that you buy, leather
sandal for example, that you're gonna risk taking
to Haram, you know, to Mecca or Medina.
But if if that is the case that
should be fine. So some of the suggestions,
you carry some of these.
That will be easy. Although
although, frankly,
rubber and
and plastic, any material, base material, they're not
good in the hot weather and the sun.
So
this material probably going
to get hot easily in the sun and
can hurt you. So especially if you're going
to be walking during the monastic.
So, if you're sick of taking crocs, take
something that can really handle the heat or
at least something that is leather and should
be fine insha Allah.
Now, quickly, inshaAllah, to go over that. Alhamdulillah,
as Muslims, we know Hajj is one of
the pillars of Islam
and it is once required once in your
lifetime.
If Allah bless you with more
because the prophet says
the 2 Hajj between the Hajj kafar.
There's kafar expression for the sins between the
two trips but there is no guarantee
that you're going to be going to the
next time. So if Allah blessed, alhamdulillah, with
wealth and health and capability and ability to
go, go as soon as possible.
A lot of people, they think, no, I
need to go when I'm a little bit
older. Why? So I can do whatever I
want to do first,
and then I seek forgiveness
Please don't do that. There's no guarantee we'll
lie.
Also, a lot of the people in the
past, they used to go in old age.
Why? Because they would spend their entire
60 year life savings just to go hajj.
Alhamdulillah for us living in this society
even though it's still expensive
but it's still relatively doable.
And you can do it within a year
or 2 but for them it takes forever
to go over Hajj. That's why they had
to wait until they become old.
But alhamdulillah, for you to enjoy Hajj, you
better go young.
You better go young and strong so you
can enjoy it. Otherwise, you're going to be
young. When you're old, you're going to be
tired and exhausted and and probably you're going
to be worrying so much that you will
lose the the the the sweetness
of the experience itself. So please make sure
to,
do it as soon as you can, InshaAllah.
So what do we do, InshaAllah? I'm gonna
mention this quickly so you can go to
your q and a
The first thing obviously,
or actually a matter of fact, let me
go over this quickly for you before we
go to that point.
So there's 3 types of Hajj.
There is Efrat,
Quran,
and Tamato.
Efrat, Quran, and Tamato.
Which Hajj you're going to be planning to
do? That depends on your arrival time in
Mecca.
So if you're arriving if you're arriving in
Mecca first on the 8th of the Hijjah
or maybe 7th of the Hijjah,
then you can do ifrad.
And ifrad means to do only one single
ritual which is Hajj.
You're not gonna do umrah.
So when you make your intention, you say,
You Allah, I make the intention for Hajj
only.
So that means when you go arrive in
Makkah, you're gonna just be doing tawaf first,
that's it.
You're gonna do tawaf,
praying Turakah behind the maqam, and you're done.
But you're gonna keep your hram on
until you're done after Arafa.
So you're gonna if you arrive on 7th,
for example, and you do ifrad,
so in this case, you're gonna be keeping
your rihram on after making your tawaf on
7th,
8th,
9th, which is Arafah, and then 10th, so
that's three and a half days when you
come back and you do tawaf alifada and
you do the jamarat and the sacrifice of
the animal, then you can take off your
Haram and put your civilian clothes afterwards. For
the ladies, the same thing too. Avoid any
that breaks Haram during that time until you're
done with your tawaf.
So that's for the ifrad.
If you arrive on the 8th or 9th,
then ifrad is okay. So what's so,
yeah, an advantage about this is that you
don't have to pay the fidayah,
meaning you don't have to do the sacrifice.
That sacrifice is not needed for you because
you're doing Hajj only.
Quran, on the other hand, is what the
prophet himself
performed
when he went out with the sahaba in
his last hajj
he performed Quran. And Quran is when Hajj
and Umrah are combined
with 1 ritual.
How so? So the prophet he went to
Makkah, he did and
but he didn't shave
and he didn't cut his hair.
And he remained
on his on his uhram until he finished
his tawaf, he finished his actually the Arafa
when they came back again. He did only
one tawaf, alifada and there is no need
for another sayi because you did the sayi
for the Hajj earlier when you did your
umrah because they're combined right now.
But for the one who does ifadah or
does ifrad,
they have to do tawaf and say, because
they haven't done say when they arrived.
But the Quran usually, the Quran usually
is recommended for those who are local in
the area. Because why the prophet
did Quran?
Because he
with him, he brought the animal with him,
he brought the sacrificed animal with him. And
when he ordered the sahaba to do tamatr,
they said, You Rasoolah, but you're going to
be doing Quran. He goes,
Basically, if I haven't taken the animals with
me, I have done tamatah with you.
But he says I took the animals with
you so I'm now obliged to do my
quran. So if anyone wants to do quran,
it's up to you
but the sunnah of the prophet that he
recommended for the ummah is to do tamatuh.
And what does tamatuh mean? To separate between
Hajj and Umrah.
And this is usually very convenient for people
who arrive early to Makkah.
So when you arrive on 4th, for example,
of the Hijjah. So you have 4th,
5th,
6th, 7th, and then the 5th day is
the 8th where the Hajj starts.
So if you're going to be doing only
ifrad, you're going to be wearing Ihram all
these days plus 2 and a half, 3
days afterwards.
And trust me, it's not easy.
This is going to be difficult.
Therefore, alhamdulillah, from the name of the blessings
of Allah
when you arrive you do umrah first, complete
umrah, tawaf, sai, and then you shave or
you cut your hair. Then you take off
your clothes and you go back civilian which
means you're allowed to put perfume, you're allowed
to be intimate with your spouse, all that
kind of stuff and so on until the
8th day of the Hijjah
and that's when we come to this point
over here.
So, on the 8th day of the Hijjah
and the 8th day of the Hijjah, while
you're in the hotel or if you were
there already in Mina, that's when you take
off your clothes and put off your uhram
again.
You need to take a shower, prepare yourself
and everything, and then put your uhram. And
once we've got into the buses then we
make the intention, Labbaykallahu
Mahajya Allah, here I am coming for Hajj.
And we go to Mina together
If you come with a matter, then when
you arrive with uhram, you make a full
umrah, tawaf, and sign everything, and you finish,
and then you take off your hram until
8th. So in 8th, what do we do?
We go to Mina, and from Mina, we
spend there Duhr,
Assur, Maghrib, Isha, and then Fajr the next
day, and then we move out to Arafah.
And then in Arafah, we're going to be
combining Dhuhr and Asr, combined and shortened,
and then we're going to be spending all
day until sunset.
And after sunset, we move back again to
Mus Delifa,
and there we're going to be praying Maghrib
and Isha combined, and Isha will be shortened.
You need to pray your witter and get
some rest. There is no rebada in Muzdalifa
better than sleeping. That's what the prophet did.
Because the next day you have a lot
of things to do and you need every
bit of energy you can.
So he rested
all night in Muzdalifa, that's if you can
fall asleep to be honest with you because
the fatigue sometimes is too much that you
won't be able to sleep.
So you you gotta get some rest, inshaAllah,
until the fajr time,
for those who are going to be staying
the whole night, obviously, but if you if
you leave early, you gotta leave earlier to
do the
the tawaf and and the jamarat. So we
move after Fajr
and we go to suppose if we're first
to go to Mina,
we go back again to Mina to do
our jamarat,
once which is the the major jamarat only.
Once we're done with it, 7 pebbles. Where
are we gonna get these pebbles from? Anywhere
before, actually, before, Mina. Could be in Mus'lifa,
could be anywhere else. You get them, you
take them there, you do the jamarat,
and then from there, you will continue to
Makkah, Insha Allahu Ta'ala.
Now you have the option for those who
are non shifting program to go to your
hotel and get some rest, and then take
a shower, change your clothes, and go to
do your tawaf,
Or you can still go straight to the
haram, do your tawaf while still wearing the
haram, and then once you're done, inshaAllah,
you go to your hotel.
Now, on that day, there are 4 things
the hijads need to
do. Number 1, day of the Hajj which
is the 10th of the Hajjah, the 10th
of the Hajjja
after coming out from a minute. That's the
8th day basically for us. For us, the
Hajjjad,
we don't press.
Without the hajjad, you don't pray salatulaid
because you're busy with doing the rituals of
the Ibar and that's why sometimes you would
see in the TV
while the khatib is doing salatul i'id, the
people are just making tawaf. It's like what's
wrong with them? Why don't they make tawaf
and pray? Because they're busy doing their
ibadah right now. So if someone stops to
pray, eat with them, that's fine. It's not
like it's haram but it's not for the
Hijjah. The Hijjah just make your rituals.
So there are 4 things that you need
to do on that day.
Number 1
is the 7 pebbles you throw at the
major jamra in Mina.
Number 2,
tawafilifana,
7 circles around the Kaaba. And if you're
if you're doing tamatah, you're gonna need to
do sai as well. If you're doing Quran
and you have done when you came first,
you don't need to do you don't need
to do Sayy again. But overall, most of
us are gonna be doing Tamatah, inshaAllah. So
you're gonna do tawaf and you're gonna
do it if sai. So after the tawaf,
obviously, you're gonna pray turakam behind the maqam,
drinking zamzam, going to Asafah or Marwa, do
the 7 ashwat,
and once you're done, then you shave or
you cut your hair. As for the sacrifice
of animal, it's gonna be done on your
behalf through, of course, the nusuk system so
you don't have to worry about that Insha
Allahu Ta'ala.
And with that, your major
practices are done for that day. For the
sister, you're not going to cut much,
barely. I need some from your hair all
the way down, you just cut it. You
should be fine
Once you're done with that,
khalas, you're free to to go back again
to your civilian clothes and civilian practice as
well too.
Then,
after you're done from that, you need to
spend the next 3 nights
the next 3 nights, if you're gonna be
living on 12th of the Hijjah, so you're
gonna be sleeping the night of 11th 12th
and the next day you will leave. So
you're spending 3 nights basically in Mina,
and
during the day, you go back to do
the jamarat. But this time you're gonna be
doing the 3. So 21 pebbles, 7 and
7 and 7.
Obviously, all this information
gonna be repeated for you when we go
to Mecca and Madinah as we get ready
for the Hajj. So you're gonna hear all
this again,
but in more
more focus because we're gonna be coming closer
to tonight. Today, I'm just giving overall
the experience itself. So,
the night will be spent in Mina.
The day,
if you don't have if you are shifting
program, you're gonna be spending it probably in
Mina as well. If you're non shifting program,
you're gonna be spending the day in your
hotel in Mecca, and you go back again
to to Mina to do the jamarat, spend
the night, fajr again for the next 3
nights, and then after that you're done
going back to Mecca
to tawafulli Fada, prepare your luggage
and everything, and do tawafulli Fada and lose
together inshaAllah to the airport.
May
Allah accept from your Hajj You Rabb Al
Amin.
Any question Ajamal? We're about 50 minutes inshallah
for questions. Yes.
Can you can you use the microphone again
so the sister can hear it, Insha'Allah, please?
Do you have a microphone for the sisters
as well?
Any,
duwah book or any PDF you personally have
created which you shared with people so it
can be shared, any
other book you recommend. Hey, read this before
you go and this is what you should
be doing there? No. So in regards to
what recommendation what book recommendation I suggest for
you to read before you go to Hajj,
I highly recommend for you to read the
book on the Seerah of the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam.
I know it sounds unusual
because we're going to Hajj, why do we
need to read about the Seerah?
Allah, you will see that the book will
come alive when you get there.
Like all that story starts popping in your
head
when you remember the prophet was walking with
the waka sadiq here, when they went to
this place, and you went to the medjib
of prophet and just like, wow, all these
stories become alive and then your memory is
in mind. So, reading a book of Sira,
and if there's any book I suggest there's
a book of,
Safiyyah Rahmammu Barak Furi. This is a basic
story telling, I would say, book Yani with
a little bit of analysis.
Safiyrahmanu
Barak Furi, The Sealed Nectar, Ar Raheik Al
Maktoum.
Now, in regards to the list of adkar
and booklet about what is to be said
over there inshaAllah,
once the WhatsApp group is created for the
group,
all the pdf files are gonna go there.
So you're gonna receive those booklets inshallah on
the pdf.
They're available online anyway right now so you
can start working on it inshallah but officially,
it's gonna be given to the groups as
we create our WhatsApp group inshallah.
Now, another question, sisters?
Yes.
Oh.
Assalamu alaykum. Can you speak a little bit
about, wearing a niqab versus wearing a face
mask and what that falls
under? So,
the hijab for the ladies in regards to
their ihram, they wear of course their normal
clothes. The only thing that they need to
avoid is
their niqab.
The niqab, the prophet he
forbid the women during their ihram to wear
the niqab. Now the ulama, they have different
interpretations for why is that so, why the
case and so on. Because, you know, over
there, there are a lot of people and
they become strangers.
So it's it's easy for you to mix,
you know, your family relatives when you don't
see their faces. That's why it becomes very
easy and convenient to see their faces obviously
there. Unless, of course, they're gonna be too
close to the men, so they cover their
face a little bit and then after that
they will take it off. Now, wearing
a face mask
as an alternative for the niqab,
that's a hala, that's an invasion, it's not
allowed.
But if you have a health condition that
requires from you to wear the to wear
the the face mask then you're okay, you're
good.
You should be fine because you need to
protect yourself and others from this inshallahu ta'ala.
Now, yes. Do
you have somebody
here? Are we allowed to take shower during
haraam?
Are you allowed to take shower during the
haraam? The answer is absolutely yes, you can.
Now using shampoo, that's okay. Some alhamdah are
strict about scented shampoos,
but will allow them what's prohibited is using
pure oil and perfume that's prohibited. So, if
there's some shampoo or the soap is scented,
it's fine.
Avoiding it is better, there's no doubt about
it. So, there are a lot of non
scented
shampoos and so and soaps, so it should
be fine, insha Allahu Ta'ala, you can use
that. But I highly
recommend to avoid that. Now, is it better
to take shower while in your haram or
not? Some of the ulama, they say it's
better to avoid
taking shower during your rihram.
Wait a minute, I'm getting dusty and sticky
and all that stuff and so on. Well,
because the ayah says,
The tafeth is this whole, you know, sweat
and and and and smudge and dust and
all that kind of stuff and so forth,
which means
it is one of the things just like
the the smell that comes out from the
stomach of the fasting person, Allah loves this
the most because it was done for sacrifice
for his sake
So Allah loves this from the Hijjah,
we're in such a condition like that one.
But taking a shower is okay,
you're allowed to do that now. Sisters?
I have a question. Okay.
So my first question,
is regarding Hajj tamato. Uh-huh. If you're doing
the Hajj tamato,
so you will do,
tawaf and saree first and you will just,
open the haram. Now.
Now you do again the hiram of Hajj.
For the hiram of Hajj, will you go
out of the outside the bounds of, hiram
boundaries Mhmm. To the Masjid Aisha or Jarana
point or either you just, you know, take
the Haram again from the Very good point.
So, if I do I'm doing tomato, so
I came, I did the Umrah, and I
finished, alhamdulillah, by me. Now it's time to
start Hajj on 8th day. Do I need
to go out to
the Miqat in
in Masad Aisha at Tannaim to put
my my Haram? The answer is no. You
do it from your hotel room. You should
be fine, inshallah. The only way the only
reason you need to go at Tanaim, if
you plan to do umrah.
Let's say between 4th of the Hijjah when
you arrived in Medina, in Mecca, you finish
your umrah and you have about 4 or
5 days before you start your Hajj. Right?
You know what? I'm gonna do another umrah,
inshaAllah, the next day. And every day I'm
gonna do umrah.
I wanna take I wanna remind you to
take it easy on yourself, please.
Because again, if you're gonna get fatigued and
exhausted and tired, you're gonna get sick easily.
And easily you can get sick no matter
how strong you think you are.
So, pace yourself and make sure to take
it easy Insha Allahu Ta'ala
and don't rush yourself too much into the
umrah or tawaf too many times.
Another question,
like you talk about the types of Hajj.
It's ifrat and Quran and Tamato.
So, like, what I have studied in the
books right now that, only the people who
are in the within the bounds of Taif
and Mecca can go for ifrah. And the
people coming from other than Taif and Mecca,
they should go for Quran and Tamakt. So
I just wanted to clarify on this.
Second thing from myself that I'm reaching on
the night of 7th of Dhil Haja Mhmm.
And the next day, we are just directly
heading to Mina camps. No. So
Kiran will be better or Tamatul will be
better for us. Now in regards to saying
that it's recommended to do a fraud, for
those who are within the boundaries and so
on, I don't know what what makes this
restriction.
It's open for everybody.
Like I said, choosing a fraud, Quran, or
it depends on the the time when you
arrive,
and that's more convenient.
Let's say,
if someone I mean, even if someone doesn't
have money to sacrifice an animal,
so in this case and I I can't
do tamata,
I cannot do tamata, so you're going to
do efrat,
but you're going to be wearing the hram
for a longer time. And if you decide
to do tamatuh,
but you don't have money to do sacrifice,
then you're gonna have to fast 3 days
while you're there and 10 and 7 days
when you come back home.
So that's in compensation for the animal. So
again, it's open for everybody to do that,
But it's always recommended
to see when you're arriving. If you're arriving
too early,
then do tamatuh so you can have the
convenience of getting out of yahram during the
time between umrah and you're starting the Hajj.
If you're coming
very close but you have an animal, so
you're local to the area, like say between
Taif and Mecca, for example, bring your camel
with you, bring your sheep with you and
just do your Quran and slaughter them in
the camp and that will be fine. But
if you're coming
on the 8th or 9th,
there is no need for you to do
tamatrah.
Like what tamatrah you're making anyway? Because you're
going to be doing umrah
and you cut your hair and you're going
to say, Labaykullahu Hajj and go straight to
Mina. So there is no tamata in between
really. So tamata is when you have time
and convenience,
Now, brothers,
young Abdullah over here,
here's a question.
Do you take off your haram clothes to
do you wear your pajamas
whenever you're sleeping?
Very good question.
You do that only if you do tamatr,
which means once you're done with your umrah
then you put on your normal clothes,
and you can put your pajama when you
go to sleep. But if you're not wearing
a haram and you're gonna continue for the
next few days with that, you can't change
the haram, you have to stay on the
haram.
By the way, you can change that same
the cloth itself, you can change it. Let's
say if it gets really really nasty and
dirty, I will be cut off and so
on. Can I wash it? Can I take
it off and put another one? Yeah, you
can. There's nothing wrong with that. So it's
it's okay for you to do that inshaAllah.
But again, more rules on the subject when
we get there to Mecca and Madin inshaAllah.
Okay. Another question?
We are ready to take one from from
each side, Danny.
Go ahead, Khaled. Okay. Sure.
So I read somewhere that, the Sai after
I'm trying to remember the name, Tawaf al
Khadum that you do Sai. Mhmm. It's preferred
to do it after first tawaf or the
tawaf alif ada.
So I read it That's for the that's
for the Quran. Quran. Yeah. For the Quran,
if you're gonna be doing sai, should you
do the sai when you arrive in Mecca
or should you lay your sai,
when you do tawaf alifada?
Either way is fine.
That's why it's called Quran because you combine
both together with one side.
So it's either way whichever is more convenient
for you. So, I honestly recommend if you're
going to do Quran maybe you should do
the side when you arrive because you're still,
hamdulillah, you have your energy, you're still healthy.
So that when you come back from Arafa
you only need to do
just tawaf
and everybody else will be doing tawaf and
sign.
So that's a big advantage, wallaha'a.
One second question if you don't mind. Sure.
Is there any way or based on,
what faith we follow, the joining of Salat
for Mhmm. More Azur and,
Assur and Riva Nisha, Is it recommended? On
Arafah or on other days?
On Arafah.
On Arafah, that's some of that's the ritual
of Hajj. Okay. So everybody does it. Including
the Khalafi school, they still does it because
they believe this is part of the rituals
of Hajj. But outside of Arafa,
they wouldn't combine the salawat.
Sisters,
who has a microphone?
Go ahead.
My question is if we have a,
shifting package, do you even recommend us bringing
a suitcase because that would mean like in
the monastic days we'd have to carry it
with us?
Well, lie that's on you.
I'm not really sure if I should recommend
or not, but definitely if you
have a shifting,
you're going to be moving a lot of
things around. For the less you carry with
you, the better it
is. So, I suggest for those who are
going with shifting program
is that make maybe sure to have only
one Yani,
rolling,
I would say bag
and this could be your check-in as well
too. So you don't have to carry so
much stuff unless you want to buy any
gift, masha Allah, on the way back. So
that will be on the last day, you
buy a bag and put a stuff in
it and carry it with you.
Brothers.
It's about
the, Hulk on 10th day. So,
your relative or friend can, do a Hulk?
I mean, if they are already bearing a
haram or, someone you know without not I
mean, without the haram can, has to do
it.
So because of the health issue you're saying?
No. Not the health issue. I'm I'm saying
that,
a brother-in-law,
can do, you know, perform a, you know,
health.
Like shaving off your heads? Oh, yeah. Of
course. Of course.
If if someone wants to do the help
for you, whether they're wearing a haram, otherwise
it doesn't matter
Because the issue is cutting their own hair,
not cutting someone else's hair.
Like if if for example, you guys finish
your Hajj
and you did not do the Tawaf alifada
yet, but you want to do help first.
Right? Can you do this? Yes. But I'm
still on my haram. Can I do help
for somebody else? You can.
You can if you want to make it
for yourself because you want to go as
well-to-do tawaf after that should be okay. Remember,
these 4 things you need to do on
10th, so you have the the jamara, laqabadul
kubra, the 7 pebbles on the major jamara,
then you have tawaf alifada,
the sacrifice of the animal, and the halq
or takseer, cutting the hair or or shorten
the hair.
These 4 can be done in whichever order
you want.
There's no specific order for them. The prophet
salallahu alaihi wa sallam, harajab raheala an in
in the story of the Hajj,
he said that the I saw the prophet
salallahu alaihi wa sallam, you know, being asked.
I heard him being asked many questions.
I've done this before this, I've done this
before this. He goes,
He was when he was asked about anything,
he did this before that one, he said
it's okay, it's okay, it's okay. So there
is no order for these 4. You can
do them in whichever order you want. Obviously,
you have control over only 3 things
because for the sacrifice, you don't have access
to it. They do it on their own.
So you have between
jamarat,
tawaf, and halq.
So can I cut my hair before I
do my tawaf? Yes.
Can I
do my jamara before my how Yes, you
can do that, in whichever order?
The only thing that is very important to
understand,
if you do
2 out of these 4 or 3 out
of these 4, let's say if you do
the jamarat
and you do the halq
and you know
that the sacrifice was done on your behalf,
but you haven't done the tawaf and sa'yah
yet,
everything is halal for you. You can take
off your clothes and put your civilian clothes,
Only being intimate with your spouse is not
allowed yet. It's only allowed
when you do your tawaf.
Sisters?
Assalamu alaikum. Assalamu alaikum. Assalamu alaikum. Yeah. I
wanted to ask a question if you want
to do umrah for someone else.
While you're there? Yes. Okay. So can I
do umrah for somebody else when I'm when
I'm there?
If you haven't done umrah for yourself first,
if you've never done umrah before, it has
to be for you first.
So the first umrah ever, that's to be
needs needs to be yours. So have you
done umrah before?
Never? Okay.
So the first umrah needs to be for
you, and then you can do umrah for
anybody else after that.
So that's the that's number 1. Number 2,
the same thing for the Hajj. The first
Hajj has to be for you. So if
you're going on behalf of somebody else like
a parent or a friend or a spouse
who passed, for example,
and you want to do Hajj for them,
it doesn't count for them. It counts for
you if you've never done Hajj before. But
if you've done Hajj
before, then you can do it for anyone
you want, inshaAllah.
And, so when I finished my my first
umrah and I want to do it for
someone else, like,
getting the I go to Mashid Al Aisha
Mhmm. The sister told me that he can't
understand.
Do the intention there, and come back. Usually,
usually in off season times, it's only 20
minutes.
20 minutes drive from,
from the Haram in Mecca
all the way to 10 AM and then
they turn around. Some of them, they allow
you to do turakah and come back. Some
they just say, hey, just let's take a
round and come back again because you don't
have to pray turakah as a as a
validation for the Haram, and then they bring
you back again to the Haram and do
your your tawaf, Insha'Allah.
And it only they they charge at that
time, off season, they charge only 20 20
riyals.
But during Hajj season, I don't know how
much they will charge for that, Wallahu 'ala.
But again,
remember,
do not do not actually
rush yourself too much. Don't get exhausted.
No. Brothers?
Assalamu alaikum Assalamu alaikum Assalamu alaikum for this
session.
Couple of questions. Number 1,
I'm actually gonna be landing in Jeddah Mhmm.
Around first of Zulhejal.
And after that, I'll be going to Jeddah
to, to stay with the family,
relatives there,
for few days then meet with my group
in,
Azizia on 6th Julija.
So what will be
the Are you booking your ticket through the
service provider or you book it on your
own?
I booked it on my own but actually
I'm going through the,
the sponsorship program through Pakistani government.
Okay. Because if you have an intention to
go to Hajj,
Jeddah usually, our ulema mater said, Jeddah is
within the boundary of the Haram
which means you can't cross the the border
of Miqat without having Ihram on since you're
coming with the intention to go and do
Hajj.
So therefore,
the suggestion is that to
do your Ihram
and do a umrah
and then go to your family,
so in Mutamatah right now and when the
time comes to meet your group on 6th
then you go with them inshallah and when
the time for Hajj you can put your
haram on.
But I don't recommend that you pass the
the mikat to Jeddah without your
haram. So
in this case the I ram, I'll be
in the state of I ram at the
Jeddah airport
or before? Yes. Before. Okay. Before, like everybody
else, you're gonna be wearing the eiram before
you reach Rabbeg.
They're going to tell you, of course, on
the plane when it's going to be, so
you change your Haram prior to that moment.
And then
once you land,
you have the option to go straight to
Madin to Makkah to do your umrah
and take off your haram or you're going
to stay your haram while you're in Jeddah
until you go to to Makkah to do
your Haram, to do your Umrah. Okay. Wallahaha'lakay.
And second sorry, second question was,
you mentioned the, the options for wheelchair
at Haram. Mhmm. How about the option for
wheelchair or any other assistance at, like, MENA
or Muld Alifar or other places?
Very good question. Honestly, I don't know the
details on this one but I'm sure
they have stations.
I need to get back on this hopefully
inshallah when we have the group you can
ask on the group and hopefully you get
the answer for this.
Sisters?
I had a question. Can you just clarify,
so the 11th day of Dhulhij,
we so we're in the non shifting package.
So the 10th night, we come back, we
spend the night in Mina.
The 11th day
we do the jamaraq
and then stay the night in Mina. Yes.
And then the 12th day we do the
jamaraq again and then we do the dawafhividah?
Yeah. Or the 13th day? No. If if
you're depends on your program.
If if you have the non shifting then
you're gonna you're gonna do the jamarat on
12th and leave to Mecca, and do it
off the day for Al Woda and and
and head to the airport or the Madinah
if you have Madinah after.
But if you're staying a longer extra day,
then you need to spend the night on
12th, and then 13th, you're gonna be actually
leaving afterwards.
Can we do another after the du'afil 'adah?
Du'afil 'adah supposed to be the last thing
you do. But, I mean, if we stay
a couple of extra days then Oh, if
you're staying a couple extra days,
don't
do the then. Then do the umrah and
then Do the umrah and then after that
you you you're gone. And by the way,
if you do umrah
if you do umrah, the last thing, you
don't have to do tawaf aluwada anymore
because the purpose of tawaf aluwada is to
make the Haram the last thing you visit.
So So if you visit the Haram with
umrah, that's fine.
But be careful again, you guys don't get
yourselves too tired, you're gonna get sick so
be careful. Keep yourself safe
inshallah. Brothers, last question for the brothers inshallah.
Assalamu alaikum. One question.
If I'm doing Jamatore
and we're flying from, like, Qatar or wherever
to Jeddah,
I know,
like, when you're approaching the boundary, they- they
do announce it. Uh-huh.
What intention do you make? Do you make
the intention to do Hajj and Umrah or
just Umrah or what is When when you're
arriving, you said? When you're arriving to Jeddah.
So you're arriving with Tamatul intention. Right? Yeah.
Then you say umrah. Umrah. Yeah.
Got it. The how'd you do it the
intention for how'd you do it when you
start on 8th Insha'Allah time. Got Okay.
Last
question from the sisters, Insha'Allah.
Assalamu alaikum. I want to ask the rabi
which has to done, it can be delegated.
Can it be delegated for the first time
also,
the first? Say it again. The stoning of
Jamarara Uh-huh. Can be delegated. Somebody else can
do that.
Okay. That's a good question. Is it can
be delegated to somebody else even on the
first date of ramil? Ramil Jamarat. If you're
unable to do it because of health issue
or maybe,
you know, kind of fatigue and so on,
can you delegate that to somebody else to
do it on your behalf? The answer is
yes. What about the 2nd day? Same thing,
if the person is unable to do it,
they can delegate somebody else to do it
on their on their behalf. However,
here's how it's done.
So you have minor,
you have the the the middle one, and
then the major one.
So the person who's doing it on your
behalf need to do it for themselves first
by doing the minor first,
the middle one first,
and then the major one for themselves altogether,
and then go around again,
do yours.
You can't do the minor one for yourself
and then for somebody else. And then go
to the middle one, for me, for my
friend,
and then the major one for me and
for my friend. You can't do that because
the 3 are all together as one ritual.
So you do minor, medium, major and then
you go around to do it again.
I know that you guys have more questions
but
once everything is settled and we know who
is going with who, you're gonna be assigned
to a WhatsApp group
And from there, we can start giving more
information, share all the
