hamdulillah we are at the start of the Islamic calendar, the lunar calendar, the month of Muharram, the very first month of the calendar. But this is also an extremely blessed month in which the prophets Allah encouraged us to fast and he encouraged us to do good deeds, particularly on the 10th of Muharram. The prophets a lot of them said by fasting on this one day, you get all your sins of the previous year forgiven. That'll be Thursday the 20th of September which is the 10th of Muharram.
