For
those who
believe and work righteousness is every blessedness and a beautiful
place of final return. You
Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah meant our killer, Ali, when I would be
Allah him in sure the unfosinaud
who follow
amazing personality that Allah is called back to Allah Rahman. So if
you think about it, an elder showing and still have that no
reverence for the
Ulama ulapa,
but he Subhanallah, he still looked at, you know, the Imams of
the masajid with great honor.
These are the type of people that we look up to
through difficulty. He came to this masjid, he sat and he
performed his Salah in this masjid. And we are honored today
that he will inshaAllah perform his Juma ayah, his last Juma.
Allah allowed him to be here today. Masha
Allah, may Allah grant him to be mabien or siddiqin or Shuhada. I
was Salahi. This is one of the greatest reminders for us whatever
it is we are undergoing, whatever it is we underwent in the past,
know that there's going to come a day that you're going to have to
leave this world.
We are going to have to return to Allah,
and that day, when we turn to Allah, Allah mentioned to us very,
very seriously, what Tapu man that Allah,
that fear the day when you are going to return to Allah, that is
the day that Allah there's going to come a time when we come to
Allah, and Allah will place in front of us a very specific
question.
And what is that question? Now? Who is our masters now, who is our
kings? Who is the one that we follow? Allah will say, Lemma
imul, who
is the king today? Bring forth those who you believed in, and you
took them as kings, and you violated my laws,
and you abandoned the Sunnah of my beloved Rasulullah sallallahu,
bring them today, see if they will be able to save you today, Allah
will answer. You know, that's a rhetorical question. Imagine ALLAH
ask you Liman il mulkulium, who is the king today, what are we going
to answer? We don't need to answer. We know the answer. Allah
says himself. One
Allah Himself, Allah, He is the true king, and we worship that
King, jala, jalalu,
may Allah allow us to be great worshippers of Allah. Allah gives
us reminders, this beautiful reminders of these sacred times
that we are living in. And
one of the greatest reminders that we can have is that make a firm
intention
that this Ramadan is going to be the greatest Ramadan ever for me.
And when you make that intention, Inshallah, when the Muslim make
intention, we know Allah reward you already.
After that, you just need to what follow up with that intention. And
at the end, you check your knee again and say, mashaAllah,
Alhamdulillah, I've done well. I've done and I've done it
according to what Allah desired. So three times, Allah will reward
you. But it starts with an intention. You make your intent.
Intention, and then after that, don't worry. Don't stress about
it. Now you put your trust in Allah.
Nothing, nothing is too difficult for Allah. Have intentions. And as
our teachers has always mentioned to us, make ample intentions.
Don't make one intention.
Make ample intentions. Make good intents. Subhanallah, you're
getting rewarded as you make intentions. Already, inshallah
will allow us to execute those intentions,
but we have to make a lot of intentions. That is good.
And then with that comes wata waka Allah in Allah, Killen, we don't
understand. You know this quality of tawakul, how much Allah loves
it,
how Allah wants us to only depend on him. Jala jalalu, Allah wants
us to depend on no one he wants us to depend on him. Jala jalalu, but
every day, we depend rather on the creation than the creator of the
creation.
I mean, in a fix, I'm going to Buddha, so and so. I'm going to
uncle, such and such. I'm going to my mother. I'm going to whereby
the first turn should be to who to Allah. If our first turning point
is to Allah. Allah will guide you where to go after that. But we are
the opposite. We first go through every avenue. Please help me.
Please help me. Please help me. I'm in this situation. I'm in that
situation, and then nobody helps us. Now we're on the lowest of the
low now we say, Oh Allah, please help me.
And then that merciful Allah, still help us. Because even
through that begging, even through that difficulty, you went every
day, you ate every day, you breathe, every day you you could
see with your sight, every day you could hear with your ears, every
day you could feel and touch. But we took for granted, and we take
for granted this blessings and this bounties that Allah besta was
upon us all the time. Make ample intentions Jamal to Muslim it,
and one of the intentions is because Allah mentioned to us what
is the manta Ramadan about? Allah says, Yeah, you
will kutiba Alaikum
go. Ultimate goal is what
it is to attain taqwa, to attain Piet
so Allah, so Allah allow us to
obtain is about attaining taco and piety. It's about gaining
closeness to Allah, our
Creator, Allah.
So if we inshaAllah
understand what is taqwa,
it's imital What is it?
It is doing good actions,
and we know how to do good actions, the best way to
understand how to do good actions is Allah in his own words, saying
taba or ladi bihadhul. Tabarakum Asmaa,
do good actions by competing with one another. Seeing somebody doing
good, says Subhanallah, I'm not gonna allow that my Muslim brother
can beat me in doing that good.
We don't look down on them when they do good, because sometimes,
you know, we see somebody else do good. We rather prefer to speak
bad about the person that does good. Allah, protect us. Somebody
has a good heart. And you give you say, ignore. Four
is, you know is what is the word conceit is by you conceited. Is
conceited. He's doing it to show off SubhanAllah. How do we know
today we are so
bristen and we think that we have power, that we are even judging
people's ikhlas?
Allahu. Akbar.
Allahu, Akbar, this is Allah Taylor's domain.
Only Allah knows a person's ikhlas, and only Allah knows the
amount of Taqwa that the person possess. But we would say he does
it without ikhlas. He's got no ikhlas. Lahaula, illa, Allah, The
Day of Qiyamah, we will be answerable for this. Jamaat,
Leslie, you know, I will never claim that I'm a person of ikhlaq,
but I will strive for ikhlas.
I will strive, and I will do things Inshallah, to the best of
my ability, because I understand that every action that I need to
do, I need to have a class in that otherwise you will not be
accepted. But for someone else to come and say, Moana, you have no
class. You are doing things without a class or that. Moana, he
doesn't have a class. How we speak about people like that?
We only need to have good words about our brothers and our
sisters.
There's one statement that says that make 1000
excuses for your Muslim brother or sister, 1000 somebody come and
tell you something bad about your Muslim brother or sister. Make
1000 excuses say, maybe, you know, maybe he intended this. Maybe he
intended that. Maybe this was the reason for that. Maybe this was,
did you find out every possible way that you can save that
brothers and honor and dignity. You do that as a Muslim. And after
you go through that, now you go to the person and say, my brother, my
sister, this is what has been said. Is it like that? Please
don't do that. Now you give dawah, you know, and how that person take
it, Alhamdulillah, that is between bayinau, abayan, Allah, a between
them and Allah, but you do the right thing. That
was the Prophet alayhi salatu wasallam. That was the sahaba.
When they saw wrong, they thought nothing to, you know, the nice
thing about living in the time of the Rasulullah, when people,
people rectified the Sahaba, they were happy about it. They said,
You know, they were seriously happy, and say, shukr jazakallahu
hai. Ra, you know, may Allah Ji, Ward you for what you have done
now by rectifying me. But we rectify someone today with them.
JSj,
do you know who I am?
We don't even.
Know we are anymore. We ask the person, do you know who I am? I
don't know myself anymore.
Habib, I don't know you. Don't know who you are. Go and find out
who you are. Subhanallah, we don't want to
know. But this is a sad reality today. The sad part is when we
rectify our children, our small children. La ilaha illallah, it's
almost like, right? No, what? A Mecha, hey. Noah, Fakir, Abu
Asmaa,
now I'm going to give you a hiding Mawlana, lahaula, illa Allah, you
know our children.
Where is the days when your child were my child and my child was
your child.
When I see anyone's child out of line, I will bring you in line.
That was our time. I remember ALLAH, I got so much we don't call
it hiding, you know, today, okay, not today. A couple of years back,
it was called hiding our time. It was called beating.
We didn't get hiding. We were I will beat you. You know, there was
no stopping to a beating is hitting you perpetually without
stopping until you cry, and if you don't cry, okay, now you get the
hiding because you don't cry also, so you don't know, must I cry?
Must I not cry? That was beating hiding was okay. I'm giving
hiding, my boy, because you were naughty. Go sit now and think
about it today. It's what just think about it. Just go sit there
and think about nothing can happen. Na Uru, Bella, and we
think society must come right? This is a month of great and good
intentions, intentions for who, for the elderly, intentions for
the middle age intentions for the young.
Alhamdulillah, I must say that globally, our youth are not
anymore oblivious to the fact that things are not just the way that
it is portrayed. We will do research about it. And that is
good. That is perfect. MashaAllah. We want our youth to do what, to
empower them themselves with ill. But the scary parties, who are
they going to take their ill from?
That is where we need to guide them as parents and teachers, send
them to the correct ulama in classes. Because Wallahi, I always
love to speak about Cape Town. You know why? Because Cape Town is
rich. Cape Town is a place of love. No metal differences.
Subhanallah, we have so much differences in Cape Town. But
Allah,
you'll hear this particular person speak about another particular
person, and you know he's furious about it. But when they come in
each other's company, those two brothers. And you think, yo,
but this brother just now, you know. And they hug one another,
and they have the most beautiful conversation with one another. And
after that, you go to the person, yo, Malana, Vijay vida, no matter
what I said, but he's a great alim.
You respect him. Don't worry what I said about him. You respect him.
That is so beautiful about Cape Town. But you must always watch
out, because there will be those who will infiltrate and there will
be those who want to come and break up. What Cape Town? Cape
Town is unique. All respect to the upcountry and the SubhanAllah. A
lot of things are happening up country. You know, I went up
country, and I was very shocked what's happening. And I said,
Alhamdulillah, Rab for allowing me to be a Capetonian.
Ya Allah. Look at the amount of fitan. Look at the amount of
differences of appeal. Subhanallah in Cape Town, we accept, you know,
you go. The nicest thing to look at is go to majesty Majlis al
qadda Islamia, what we call the MJC. You will find ulama from all
denominations. You will find them. They've qualified in Karachi,
qualified in nadwatul, ulama, they qualified in duband. They
qualified in
locally. They qualified in Egypt, they qualified in Medina, they
qualified in Ummul, Quran Ma, you have all these different, you
know, ways that they were taught, and they've got differences of
opinion every mas Allah, but they will respect one another,
but go somewhere else. Ya, Allah, is this organization against that
organization? And this organization split in three
different organization, and that three fight with one another, but
when they need to stand, are we standing together again? This is
what is happening in the world, and the sad reality is, what it's
is we are Muslim, it's us. We are doing this to ourselves. And
everybody that looks from outside the lens, they say, look how they
make a mockery of themselves. This is the time to make the intention
you have the power is the awam. You place your ulama on the
pedestal again. If somebody says something bad about an Alim
saying, my brother, that is not for me and you to discuss, discuss
it with the alim. That Alim will be able to answer. I can't answer.
Why are you telling me about this great Masai? I don't know the
masala. Speak to the person that know.
The masala, and they will be able to iron everything out there,
Masha and thereafter, did they understand one another? And most
of the times, almost 100% of the time, what happened? They walk
away being the most loving of friends. But now what happened?
Because we wanted to partake in that. Now, I told Mike my croonies
and my bandhas now, mashaAllah, those two are fine with one
another, but us, the followers, are fighting with one another
because my Alim and your Alim and my pirsav and your PIR sabhana
kaya Rab,
this is not what it is. Rasul Salam came to teach a beautiful
religion, and Rasul assalam said, what? Yes, sir, wala to asiru make
things easy for people. Don't make a difference. People. Don't make
it difficult. Bash. Give people glad tidings. Don't just Doom them
for hellfire.
Auden is so beautiful. This is the words of who Rasulullah sallallahu
sallam. He made things easy for people. What did people do to him?
They antagonized him. They stoned him. They had bad words to say
about him. Everything bad that you can think today, they did to the
Prophet, alayhi, salatu, Salam. I mean, they took the intestines of
animals and threw it under Rasul. And what did he do? He made dua
for them. Oh Allah, forgive them.
You see, Allahumma Filia call me. Look at
the words of the Prophet. Oh Allah, forgive my nation. He
didn't call them Allah, forgive this. Jails this kufar. He didn't
speak like that. He said, Allah, forgive my people. He took them as
his own. And he said, faynamalai, because they don't know what they
do in Ya Allah, what a concern he had. Imagine somebody does that to
us. You say, Allahu, never will be do that. Oh, Allah, forgive him,
because he smacked me now in my face. Yeah, Allah, look at my big
blue eye that I have now. Forgive me. Allah, he don't know what
either you're
a girl, someone who Ali's with the gangsters, when Ali areas, they
Bucha me dankaya Say, you know, this is not the way. A way is the
way of the messenger, Asana. So make the good intentions for this
month that is coming. I'm done with this. Ya rab.
I want to live according to what Allah wants me. I will follow the
commandments of Allah, what she NAB
and I will stay away from nawahi. Everything that is prohibited from
Allah, abstain from that, and that will take me where. That will take
me to acceptance that will take me into the riddle of Allah. Ameen,
Allah, allow us to be of those whom Allah will be pleased with.
Secondly, is the month of Taqwa. We inshaAllah Taala will try to
gain Taqwa.
Allah Allah says, perhaps, Allah, don't give you as guarantee about
Taqwa. Allah say, I have prescribed Ramadan for you and
make an incumbent upon you, as I've done so with those before
you. And perhaps, perhaps you will attain Taqwa piety. So there's no
guarantee to attain piety. Why? Because you must have a perfect
fast. Your fast might not only be the fast of hunger and the fast of
thirst, the fast is the fast of the eye, the faster the ears, the
fast of the tongue, the fast of all the limbs. If we fast with our
entire bodies, with our Ruh, with ourselves, only for the sake of
Allah, to Allah, then at the end, Inshallah, to Allah, what will
happen when Ramadan is done, that I will not revert back to my old
ways. That is a sign of what of acceptance of my fast I will not
revert back to my old ways.
I will stick to what I have done, the seeds that I planted, I have
watered it, and now I'm executing it in Ramadan. Now, Inshallah,
outside of Ramadan, I'll be that same person that I was in Ramadan.
I Allahu, Akbar, Allah, allow us Taqwa inshaAllah. And thirdly, my
last point inshaAllah is that a look with the Quran
that I look with the Quran,
shahru, Ramadhan, Quran. This is the month that we connect to that
time, and we understand this is when Allah sent down this Quran in
this month.
Udall in us. It is a guidance for mankind. Wabayat, it clarifies
everything. Minal, hudawal,
subhanAllah, Jamaat, Al Muslimeen. Allah is giving us opportunity
upon opportunity. Let us have a relationship with this book of
Allah, and never say, Ya, Allah
Kani is, you know, I can't even I say something now, then I forget.
Immediately, Allah the Quran will give you memory.
The Quran is Noor. The Quran is light. The Quran is alive. Don't
think of the Quran as being a dead book. It's not a dead book. It is
Allah's Kalam. It is Allah liaising with us every day of our
lives.
How much do we love Allah? If you have your wife, Masha, Allah, you
have her, you know, should I use the wife who loved their wife?
No. Nobody raised their hands. Muhammad, right? But.
Whoever loves this wife so much you can't wait to be in a company.
You want to go home and you want to have a conversation with the
babes, yo, I had a nice day, man, SubhanAllah. And then now you
still see the tea is right? Mashallah, right indication to the
women. Mashallah, you know, the couch is there, the normal
newspaper, okay, the tablet is there. You know, you can now read
your news from the tablet, whatever Allah says, Not real
motives there, you know, like, Oh, this is Mr. Piss paves man, may
Allah RAM to be with her in Jannah. I mean,
imr SHA, Allah, Alhamdulillah, right? So
imagine that love that you have for your wife,
if you have that love for Allah and more. What will be on the
tongue will be Allah constantly. When you see your children, you
speak about Allah, speak about Jannah. See your wife, you say,
babes, I want to be with you in Jannah. Yo, Allahu, Akbar. I can't
wait.
Why? Because we're going to meet Rasul Salam together,
who speak like that, honestly, babes, we're gonna Can you imagine
we gonna be with Rasulullah? Why? Because we love Him and our
children here and they also aim Mashallah. We must love the
Prophet. Tomorrow. They speak with their children. You must love the
Prophet. You must love Him more and dear than anybody else in this
world. This is what it was in the time of the sahaba. They loved the
prophet, and they were not shy to express their love. We are so shy
today to express our love for the Prophet, Allah. What shyness?
There's no shyness in expressing Allah for Rasul salah. Allah.
Allow us to love him. Allah. Allow us through loving him as Allah
promises. If we
love him, Allah will love us. Allah will love us. So we want to
gain the love of Allah. And I'm ending off in sha Allah, may Allah
grant everyone that is here present in sha Allah, Ramadan,
Kareem al Ramadan, Mubarak, Ramadan, that is Maul that is
accepted by Allah. Ramadan, it will be the greatest Ramadan ever
of our life inshallah. And we know that last year we fasted. You know
what is the greatest about fasting this month? If Allah allow us to
fast, we will definitely know, as Allah says, beyn, a Ramadan name
between the two ramadans, what kafara to Allah, it is a kafara
for you, all your shortcomings and sins and everything has been
forgiven between the ramadans. That is how great Ramadan is. We
don't understand the greatness of this man that is ahead of us. May
we utilize it in the best of ways. Three points were mentioned
inshaAllah, make good intentions. Don't be shy. Make a lot of good
intentions. If Allah allow for you, because your tawakkul is in
Allah, you will execute it inshaAllah. Secondly, work on our
Taqwa. You do what Allah commands, and abstain from the prohibitions.
And thirdly, what is the last one?
The Quran? Have a connection with the book of Allah. That is your
conversation with Allah every day. Besides, in Salah, the best
conversation is in Salah. Outside of Salah, the Quran,
any problem you have, don't look, just open the Quran and read, and
Allah will give you the answer that is how powerful and alive
this book is. May Allah, bless you all. Inshallah, barakul, mafikum,
Inshallah, after
the
Sunna salah of Juma inshaAllah will immediately have salatu
janazah of our beloved brother and father and elder. Masha Allah, Haj
Afiq, Mullah jibi, nilahi, tava Ra, we have a Raza demonstration
as well at 5pm today, important. We can't stop speaking about
Palestine. You know, this must happen every day. Alhamdulillah
panorama. We were successful up until now that every week we try.
You know, no matter if it's one person standing there, but we do,
you know, we do create awareness in our area. Alhamdulillah, we ask
everybody to come out. It's so imperative for us to come out in
the drones in sha Allah, if you can't make it, send your children
in sha Allah, young voices of Jannah, Kira, this Saturday,
inshaAllah,
