Abu DHA praises due to Allah subhanahu wa gather. Allah
subhanahu wa is famous as to perform salatul mahari Bagh Jamar,
our fortunes. We are amongst the elite of the elite today in Masha
Allah, there are so many Allah subhanahu wa depine from this
beautiful bounty. But indeed we can say Alhamdulillah, the all
things and praises and Allah subhanahu wagus 13 and Allah
subhanahu wa keep us on the straight path inshaAllah taala.
Today, we are gathering inshaAllah to commemorate our history, to
educate ourselves and to educate our children and our families who
came out Allah subhanahu wa Sadi, to be filled on these type of
nights in order for us to know our history. For indeed, a nation
without history is a nation lost. And this is something that we need
to ensure, inculcating our lives again, to frequent the massages
when these classes have been given and these pictures have been
given, in order for us to partake in this, to know what our history
is about. Otherwise, what will happen in the future, subhanAllah,
can we only imagine? What if we have no history background? What
will happen to our youth? How would, how would they will? How
will they be able to defend the deed of Islam without the history
in Allah, Subhanahu to protect our youth. This is the occasions that
used to happen more frequently, Inshallah, to order for us to
educate ourselves and our youth, with regards to Adi, but
inshaAllah is Benoit Hadi. It is Kara Mullah that the best of
speech is the speech of Allah subhanahu wa salam, and the best
guidance is the guidance of the Prophet alay salat wa salam. And
so beautifully, the Prophet alayhi salatu wa salam, says that we
start off with the best speech, and that is the speech of Allah
subhanahu wa so we'll ask each other again just to come forward

The
we
all beautiful rendition of the Quran Allah subhanahu wa,
understanding of what has been decided inshallah and may be
inshaAllah, be of those implement those beautiful teachings of Allah
subhanahu wa, Allah subhanahu wa is that Lord that will never
forsake us. Allah subhanahu wa always be there for us. And Allah
subhanahu wa says that Allah is the one who found us lost. And
indeed, Allah subhanahu wa bend us as well. So we always seek the
guidance of Allah subhanahu wa, taala, for indeed only Allah
subhanahu wa else can guide besides Allah is the WA Jalal, but
we are the ones who are those who Allah Subhan wa Taala place on
this earth to be examples to others, to be examples to those
who needs to inshaAllah wa Taala incline towards this beautiful
deed of Allah SubhanaHu wa, we should have the concern that
burning concern with the Prophet alayhi salatu wa salam SallAllahu,
alayhi wa sallam had that each and every person and human being
should be of those who should be successful. We cannot go sleep
without that concern. We cannot live our life without that
concern. And that is why our history is so important, masha
Allah, that we come. And we come. Why we are coming here is because
we want to get to know
Allah better. We want to have the Taq Illah, the closeness to Allah
subhanahu wa sallam Rasulullah. Rasulullah the chosen one amongst
all those who Allah subhanahu wa taala has chosen. They were many
that Allah but the most choices among them, the one that Allah
Subhan wa Taala called himself Jala. Jalalu calls him His Habib.
He's beloved Allahu Akbar. Can we imagine? You know, imagine me tell
you what you are, my friend. I love you so much. My friend. Gonna
tell you my friend? What do you mean by that? Is laughing because
they still keep maybe regard their wives as friends? No, we won't say
that, because we'll speak to them, right? And that is what Allah
needs to become to us, everything,
our yearning for the taqil, Allah, that closeness to Allah, Subhanahu
wa Subhan SubhanaHu wa says that Allah love the messages Allah, and
it becomes incumbent upon us to love him, sallAllahu, alayhi wa
sallam. And then obviously it comes. Now we come to that state
where we want to learn more about our history. We are going to speak
about Ashura, the 10th of Muharram. What is the
significance? How did it come about? Now, where did we come to
celebrate and commemorate? Some people see that there's a
difference, because we see some people extremely happy on this
day, and sometimes we find that some others are mourning and sad
on this day. What is the reason for this? And that is why we need
our youth to come. They need to know this history. You know, there
is no difference between happiness and sadness on this day, because
two different occasions happen on this particular day, many others.
But we'll focus on two. Inshallah, just to give us a background, to
give us an answer, a solution for maybe what is currently,
you know, a battle in our minds. Should I be happy? Should I be
sad? You know? Why is it if I speak about something, then others
become emotional, and when I speak about the other side, the other
part becomes emotional, although we have such a beautiful Deen that
all this is part of our deen. It's not this. For example, the two
incidents I'm going to mention is the one of Nabi Musa alaihi,
salatu wasalam, and the second incident will be the incident of
Sayyidina, Hussain Rahu, the grand child of Rasulullah. So we know
that ambiya, what is ambiya? They are the most elite. Amongst the
elite of those who are chosen amongst mankind, there are no
greater beings than the ambiya. Salat was right. They were the
chosen one.
Himself say that you must love me and you must love my family. So
how do we balance between this? Are we allowed to be happy and are
we allowed to be sad? How? How are we going to follow this path? But
there's a beautiful quote of Ali ajifri Wherever he mentioned Masha
Allah, that man.
Had Whoever joins and whoever feels happy on the day of Ashura,
with the victory of our Master, Musa alaihi Salatu was Salam
without insulting, alright? Because, you know, we know what
happened with Musa. Times was there, you know, Musa alai Salatu
was stutter, and he had to call his brother Ramu, and how became a
Nabi Mashallah. And then he went. And then, obviously, the Dawah
started with the road and everything else come. But he
beautifully says that if this happened, then that person is on
truth.
So the one name is happy. And he celebrates this day with happiness
and joy. That person is on truth. Is this part of our history. We
cannot deny it. Did Musa alai Salat was become victorious on
this day. We cannot deny it. So it's a happy occasion for us to
celebrate and be happy about it. But then, then he mentioned
further. He says that whoever man Hasina, whoever grieves right on
the death of Muharram and ashula over the affliction of Allah and
the family of the house of Rasulullah. Then, without
exaggeration, without ulu, he does that. Then what happened? The knee
is on love.
The knee is on love, pure love, for the sake of Allah subhanahu,
His Messenger, Salah, Salah and the family of the bishop. Can that
be wrong?
It cannot be wrong. We have to feel some type of sadness and
grief that what has transpired. And when I hold the bill, there
are many things that has been said and some some things that has been
said, very bad things. But our focus is not on that. Our focus
is, are we allowed to celebrate in a happy way, and are we also
allowed to celebrate in a grieving, sad way? Definitely the
Sharia allow for us to do that. Because those who celebrate Musa
Ali, salatu, Salah, we cannot say that they are out. They are Haqq.
Those who celebrate Sina Hussain, who commemorates it, and feel and
show grief to them, towards them, and sadness. They only do love for
the Rasul Salah. So there's absolutely no problem with that.
But then at the end, he says, As long as there is no quarrel
between the two, so I shouldn't feel that I'm happy, because Nabi
Musa, masha Allah, so why are you guys grieving now? You guys aren't
wrong. How can you grieve a mistake? There should not be a
quarrel between the two. Everybody has the right to know how they
feel. And believe me, no believer will be happy with what
transpired, and no believer will be, you know, opposed to Nabi Musa
alai salad was not becoming victorious over the fear all of
his time. It's impossible for a Muslim, for a believer to believe
that. So may Allah subhanahu wa dis opening statements, let us sit
with an open mind inshaAllah, because the reality is Ashura,
many things occurred. It is mentioned in the Quran and it is
mentioned in the Hadith of the messenger, alayhi, salatu wa
salam, right? Maybe some of us, we grew up only with one narrative
that has been narrated. But now, Alhamdulillah, because Allah
subhanahu wa is very broad, our deen is was extremely spacious and
expand, you know, beyond the limits. Allah subhanahu wa has
given us such a deen that Allahu Akbar, we will never be able to
stop learning. We will always learn new things about our deen,
the more we recite the Quran, the more we get closeness to it, and
the more we learn about it, and the more we will expand our
knowledge about it.
This is what Islam is. That is why the Prophet alayhi salatu wa
salam, he mentioned in one of the Hadith, he says that Tala will aim
that seeking of knowledge.
Muslim in VA Muslim. It's incumbent upon every male and
female to go and study it. You know, Raso Salah makes it fart
upon us. You know, when does the fourth stop? The day when we close
our eyes? That's a time when the first stop, because we will never
be nobody will be able to say, I now confess that I'm the most
learned of every human being on the surface of the earth that will
be Subhanallah watching this, it will be craziness, because Allah,
subhanho, wa Taala says, Waf kolidi, elmin, alim, and above
everyone who thinks that he is learned And the most learned, No,
Allah say there is definitely, most definitely, somebody more
learned than you. And if it comes to that person, ultimately that
maybe, you know, maybe, just maybe he is that one, then know that
Allah is much more learned than you. There's always somebody that
is more learner than us. So Subhanallah, when Allah, may Allah
subhanahu wa grant us the understanding that this is a happy
and a joyous time for us, but in reality, as it is a happy time, we
should also not forget the sad moments that happened. It is
historically transpired. But let us start off in sha Allah, that
what is Ashura Rasul Salah mentioned many things about as.
Surah, the one who fasted this particular day. Subhanallah, many
of us, we fasted today. Remember, today was the ninth.
Do not say I fasted my day. Masha, Allah, you know, neither did you
first. I fasted one day. That was the night that was Tasha, right?
It was the ninth of Muharram that you fast. So now Inshallah, you
fulfill that. You will fulfill the 10th of Muharram that will be now
Monday. Inshallah, tomorrow. We know it started tonight,
Alhamdulillah, after maghrib, so Inshallah, we'll fast tomorrow,
and what will happen if we fast?
Anybody knows. Rasulullah mentioned that he hopes that
through the fasting of the death of Muharram Allah subhanahu wa
forgive us for all our previous since
now, who does not want that? If you believe on that, but it's just
the sacrifice. It's
a bit difficult get up tomorrow morning early, not the guy that
can eat in the morning on your glass of water and three dates.
Then I must say, Look at my son. If my son say, you know, you know,
tell them guys, we're fasting tomorrow. Oh, that is the sound we
get. Alhamdulillah. They fast, but we get the sounds, you know, So
alhamdulillah. But this is education. How we educate them is
not only you must fast now they used to be. This is why we
fasting. Do you know the rewards that you can receive Subhanallah
and the part that they love. You know? We all know that his man was
the one who spends as his family that they look at
today, subhanAllah, right? Why? Because if you spend on us today,
the Prophet Muhammad said, and abi, you love the Prophet
Muhammad, don't you. So you must spend on us today. You know, your
family, did I say? But we must spend in moderation. That's not
what the prophet saws.
No spending in moderation. You must spend on us. Abi, you know,
so mashallah, there are many perks and benefits to this day which is
joyous. It's happiness, right? So we cannot push this aside and just
say no, we have to grieve on this day only. No, we need to practice
the Sunnah in every way possible we can. So, Inshallah, let us not
be of the stingy ones. For indeed, the pahill is the one Subhanallah
that Allah, Subhanahu wa deprive of many things, the one who stingy
Allah will deprive us of many things, and who a person can be
more stingy than the person that is so stingy that he don't even
want to spend his own family. Allah, you know how merciful Allah
subhanho wa Taala is. Allah subhanho wa Taala could have told
us you must spend on the entire ummah.
Allah could have said that now is the day that I don't spend on the
entire ummah. Allah did not do that. Allah knows that these guys
know they don't like spending
spend on your own family only. Alright? So Allah, subhana wa
Taala wants us to spend on our own close ones, our children, our
wife, our mother, Allah, Allah, do we
still spend on our parents?
Our Father, our grandparents? We still have how much bounty we
think we can receive from Allah if we do this spending on our
parents, we think is we're going to have a loss in wealth. No, we
will gain in wealth. Subhanallah, and this is what we need to, you
know, I'm a parent, so they need to see me spending today, because
the more I want my kids to spend on me, I want to tell them, you
know, and everyone is dependent for how to go
to Madina. I don't want to go to absal. There's
a lot to remember. What you told me, we can
show it back to them. Then you told me when you were small, and I
told you, there's no center. I'm also telling you the same you will
spend. You are spending. It is beautiful. Why? If we spend,
what will happen? Allah? Will Subhanallah tell us? Messenger
SallAllahu Salah says that Allah subhanahu wa spend on you for the
entire year to come, your risk will be opened up for you, Allah
subhanahu wa make it open for you, that inshaAllah, it will be easy
for you to acquire, may Allah grant us to be among them. I mean,
I mean SubhanAllah. Two things that we mentioned is Musa, alayhi,
salatu, salaam, Sayyid Na, Hussain, rabilah.
How we can bring silence to our hearts by the one who's joyful on
this day and by the one who is sad and grief on this day. Remember,
there's one common thing that happened between these two great,
great personalities, Musa Salat was ALLAH and said Hussain, being
the grandchild of the Prophet alayhi salatu, was that both of
them stand up to tyranny.
They did not allow tyrants to come and do what they so wish. And when
they tell me, what did they do, they both stand up forward for
half against batima.
So what is our situation that we find ourselves now, let's make it
a bit personal,
right?
Musa alaihi salatu as the Israelites, what happened when
he's not in.
Here they were facing a battle,
Sayyidina, Hussain, Rabbi Allah, against those who opposed him,
right? Who definitely will be among the losers. What happened?
Similar to Musa, they were busy with a huge battle, right? So what
is this? Where are we currently finding ourselves in a battle
online. We had, we have a battle. No, it's, if it's not LGBTQ, then
it is GBV, you know, SubhanAllah. All these acronyms, you know,
all these acronyms you get, you get today, you know, lol,
it happened, you know, oh,
so all these acronyms, we are faced with this, and it is a
battle that we will have to fight till the end of time.
We find ourselves now and metaphorically on the plains of
Karbala.
We find ourselves now with the FARA, all of your owns trying to
lead us astray.
We have our children's hands. We have our spouses hands. We have
our families and we have our friends, and we need to move
forward with Haq,
who is our example to this Musa alay
salatu, as
mashallah, as they were, victorious, being the light of
Allah, we will become victorious.
I mean Arab, but
the battle is real.
You know,
Musa alay salat wa salam was somebody who had a speech
impediment.
How do we feel? Sometimes I don't feel that I have enough knowledge.
I don't feel that I have the right words to say, Right What did Musa
alayhi salatu was do? What is his example to us? He said, Yeah,
Allah, choose somebody who is better than me in this position.
And there's a lesson for us if we are not amongst those who have the
best advice. Because sometimes everybody can give advice. You
know, this is normally my my ka either, you know, it's my
principle in life. I give this advice to everyone, especially my
colleagues. I say, my brother, you might have answers. That is good
answers, but it's not always the best answer.
And I always use the example of somebody who is, for example, in a
state of depression.
So a person who is depressed, he comes to you, you the Imam. You
have to help me.
Right? That says the only what happened Subhanallah and the Imam
is in that situation saying, Oh, my brother, come sit you get into
the office. Now, the person said, I need your help. I feel that I
want to take my life.
Allah
hurts your stuff.
Do you know what Allah is going to do with you? Suicidal people, go
to jahannam. Suicidal people, go to
jahannam.
Talk to me about Allah. He will tell you also that Malaya
experienced this
and then SubhanAllah. The outcome can be extremely bad.
Is it bad advice that you gave? No, it's good advice. Allah's
going to punish you. You can't kill yourself.
The abode is going to be jahannam. For those it's good it's good
answers, but it's not the best answer. So what's the best thing
to you to do? If you don't know, say, my brother, why do you feel
that? Subhanallah, can you go with me quickly? No, come with me when,
Inshallah, let's buy her something quickly to drink. And then I
drive, and then I go, mashallah
says, God,
it's a psychiatrist. This man will know how to deal with the
situation. I cannot deal with the situation because I might lead
this guy to his power.
You understand, although I think that I gave the good answer, but
it was not the best answer, I'm going to be naive to say that I
gave the best answer, and that is similar to our life.
Many things will come our way. You know, I might not be the expert in
LGBTQ, but I'm going to get you Muhammad ways to come and speak to
you about LGBTQ, you know, because his research, mashaAllah, is very
broadened about the subject. I might know a little bit about it.
But it's not enough to give you advice on the subject. And this is
what Islam is. It teach us that there's always somebody. You know,
Rasulullah was unique.
He was and he is unique, and he will always be unique. Ali to
assalam. Anybody could go to him anytime, any day, anytime morning,
evening, whatever you would always have to answer. Why? Because his
answer was, as Allah subhanahu wa says, Maya,
he could not speak of his own mums and his own fancies in Hua ILAHA.
You could only speak what Allah commanded him to say, and that
wahi would be revealed to him, sallAllahu salah, and he would be.
Able to be answered, and the Hafid inshaAllah, soon he recited what
to have, what Layli he does, what is, what is the significance of
the Sabbath, razul, and the reason for that, that verses to have been
revealed by Allah,
Subhanahu wa, six months has gone by. Can you imagine his state,
depressed, raw is asking questions upon questions, and Rasulullah
cannot answer why? I can't speak of my own. Hawa,
I must wait for Allah to send me the Wahoo, the wahi, in order to
respond to you. And eventually, as all of us, we come to a breaking
point. Isa, Allah wa alai wa salam stood and he was when he's lost.
And Jibreel alaihi salatu, Islam came after six months. And what
did he say? Oh, Jibreel, I thought that Allah and yourself is
forsaken me.
Ajim, is that what I mean for sometimes feel
ya, Allah, I'm in so much difficulty. I'm asking you, for
six months already,
nothing happens. Know that Allah subhanahu wa mentions and the
Quran is not only specifically revealed to Muhammad, sallAllahu,
sallam, it is for all timers. It is for us to take listen from the
time when it was revealed to and beyond them, it will be a means
for us of rahma,
Allah subhanahu wa says, What to how Layla
in color, what an
Ula.
That is our life. Yes, I'm going through difficulty, but this
difficulty is not in vain. It's not for nothing. I have an Allahu
Subhana wa Taala who mentions that he will never forsake me. Allah
subhanahu wa promised me as Allah subhanahu wa's Beloved. Did I with
you?
Allah subhanahu wa says, demon for our Are we a team? We still have
mothers and fathers for those who don't have fathers, technically,
Islam, you're a team as well, amen. But Allah, Subhanahu, WA did
we not find you and guided you
and rescued you? Subhanallah,
Allah, this is us.
Allah speaks to us in these verses, you are lost.
All of us. We are lost without Allah.
We are lost without Allah,
who understood this better? Musa, Ali, Sara
we are lost, and Allah say
we have guided you, oh Muhammad SAW Allah. So do we think that
Allah will not guide us? We are fighting the battle of karmala, as
we said,
how many of us SubhanAllah? We don't know. Said here with a very
heavy heart. Where are their child?
Why is my child not a dean?
How many elders are crying? Why is my son not phoning?
How many mothers are out there
yearning for their kids to come?
How many grandparents don't see their own children and because
they don't see their own children, because there's no eye to eye
between children now they are even deprived of their grandchildren.
Yeah,
the Ummah is fighting a huge battle
that is our grief.
How are we going to fix this? How will we find solutions for this?
Solutions we find in the river, in the lessons of our predecessors,
like Musa alaihi, salatu, Salam and said, Nah, Senda RAM,
sometimes we
need to put this reality you know, it's a reality check for us,
because we are grieving, but our life is not changing.
We are happy, but our lives are not changing. It should not be
that everything in the Muslims life is a listen with a lesson
from our history,
SubhanAllah.
So Allah, Subhanahu wa speaks to us in the Quran,
many things Allah mentioned in the Quran with regards to this day
Isla, there are 12 months. Four of these months are very special.
Harold and Raja. We find ourselves in one of those months.
Look at those
who does believe in Allah. Look at it. They are bombing our children.
They are bombing our mothers.
They are bombing our holy sites.
They have no Imam.
What are we doing? Why are you breaking with your finger like
that? In the Tahir,
we argue about it.
Oh, this Bucha is making dua after salah. I can't follow
it. Where does Ummah is? We can't
there are so many things that we need to look at face the reality
that we need to fight Haq against bati.
That is our duty, that is shown through every messenger. Alayhi
musalaam, to assalamu.
Alaihi salatu as Subhanallah, you propagated 859,
50 years of his life. 950, years. And then how many people went unto
the aquatic
imagine you give dawah 950 years you'll
be able to walk.
But 950 years you give that can only 80 people embrace, 80 people
in 950 years today, Allah, you go out. Example, you know I hear,
maybe whoever it is no goes to Malawi, a entire tribe, Allah.
How easy, how easy it is. Look at me. Look at the lessons. What is
the lesson? Have someone and believe in Allah.
Have sovereign patience and believe in Allah and don't insult
Nabi No, Ali Sant insult everybody. They did not believe in
him. No,
he gave the message for 950, years of Allah. Abu Asmaa, Sala ilaha
illallah, to behold, if you say La ilaha illallah, Lu rasulallah, you
will be successful
950 years.
And yes, subhanAllah, I cannot get along with my brother because of
one incident that took place. Why are we? Why do we have double
standards? We need to ask ourselves the question,
because both
of these personalities stood for. Haqq, how are we going to stand
for Haqq, we need to look at our families who went into that
Battlefield. He knew what's going
to happen.
Radi Allahu, anhu, who did he have his sister,
Zana, Malati, Allah.
Who did they have?
Zayal, I believe, as little and small as you want, they were all
in that tent
when all chaos was happening outside,
but they understood
that this is not a time for me to say everything will be okay.
I'm rather going to stand with the enemy here, because I'm fearing my
life. No,
remember what
I read
Allah subhanahu after that say, what a
understood reality that what is to come is much better than this. I
have to stand for her
as we would cry for the grandchild of Rasulullah, whose life was
taken unjustly. No doubt about it, we would die for him, but in the
similar manner, what the title Allah has given him, not the
Allah,
the title of Shahid,
the title of one who fought in the Cause of Allah, and he died in the
Cause of Allah.
How happy and occasion that is for us,
we look at when the disbeliever doing there is grief. How could
you do that? Yes, but when we look at the master Hussein, we look at
it with a different lens. We look at it as inspiration.
This is truth. This is what I need to stand for. Why do I feel right?
Life has been given to us by Allah, and it will be blessed away
by Allah. I might think now, if I give the answer now, then I might
be saved. If you might be saved for a moment. You walk out the cob
knocks you, subhanAllah,
our times has been marked already by Allah.
Do we know that every day makes a turn by each and every one of us?
No, ya, Allah, every day comes and it makes it turn by each and every
one of us, every creation,
almost time,
almost
done. Our time, our glass is running out
just now. The other day, I looked I said, so hard, my eldest
daughter is 16 years old.
I cannot believe I still feel like I'm 12 years old,
and I look at the
doesn't make sense. You still feel young, but the reality is, in
front of you, Allah, put your children there. Allah subhanahu
wa, put light in front of you to see that, hey, I'm moving right.
There's time. It's time now is the time. Illa gives a sign
and these incidents that took place Subhanallah, it gives us a
reality check how we need to fight and how the Haqq always Allah.
Subha your Allah, my Allah, promises waqul jayah Al Haqq
was Zahab al bail. Battle. In
the battle,
Allah guarantees us you fight the haqqan battle. Don't worry. Haq
will always prevail over the battle. Don't worry. Allah gives
us a all we need to do is stand with the Haqq stand with the
principles of Nabi Musa alaihi salatu, Islam stand with the
principles of saying the Huss he could
have made a total different decision, but that was the turning
point in Islam.
Rasulullah sallam. He saw this happening.
He cried, and he said, This grandchild of mine will be a
martial
and how he will be marked Rasulullah. You could explain it,
Allah subhanahu wa but
he did not stop doing what he did.
He propagated Deen to the best of his ability. Still, he stood for
Haqq still, although he knew he did not tell Hussain what's going
to happen. He did not tell that was not for everybody's ears. That
was for Rasulullah.
So there's many things that we don't know.
We don't know what is going to be the end result of our children's
lives, but the sacrifice need to be made now,
because the outcome might be that our own children will be a witness
against us when I want to be la Allah, protect us, but because ya
Abadi, Oh my beloved father, you need not speak to me about this.
You need not teach me about the story of Musa. You need not teach
me about the story of how could I have known this? You are my father
when the one person came to complain by Umar Anu with regards
to what to his child, what happened?
Summons the child. He wanted to punish the child. What does the
child's response?
My father never taught me the Quran.
How should I know how to practice the faith if I have not yet been
given the opportunity to learn the Quran?
And what did Allah turn out to do
the punishment the heart went to the Father,
because how can you blame the child? And the child does not have
knowledge about what he needs to do, what his rights is, and what
is, what your heart over is is, and what his hat over you is.
So we need to look at life in a different lens.
These were giants of Islam.
Although he was young, he was a Khalifa of Islam. He had hiked my
wisdom. Many people might look at it and say, you know, subhanAllah
protect us from thought like this. But there are some people that say
that Sayyidina Hussain made the wrong decision. May Allah forgive
them. How can we let speak like that
about the family of Rasulullah? He was bartered. What did they do to
his sister? They took over hijab. You
they took off the hijab. They unveiled her aura in the streets
and paraded with her SubhanAllah.
Imagine somebody told
today's time is
it's so sickening what is happening today. Because today, if
you look, our people let their wines work,
our people let their daughters exit their houses, and
then we cry for Sayyidina Hussain, he stood for Haq Jima tu Muslim,
mean we have a deed as Allah subhanahu, WA, you know the Quran
verse comes to mind the Allah subhanahu says, Muhammad Al
Rasool, Allah,
Muhammad Sallallahu, alas, the Messenger of
Elina as
far
Who are they who will take this deed to the four corners of the
world, who will be the one who will go out and spread the Dawah
of Islam, who will be the true one of the tulabiah, it will be who
the believers they are, the ones
they are staunch and heavy and severe against those who
disbelieve in Allah, ruhamah. Ruhamah.
Ruhamah,
we are brothers and sisters of each other. We show no Rahma
towards each other who must take the deed to the four corners Allah
subhanahu says,
Who
are
they? They constantly find themselves in the bowing position
for Allah.
They constantly find themselves in sujood frustrating to Allah.
How many times a day will execute for Allah. And if it is, how is
the prostration to Allah?
How we think sidma Hussain prostrated to Allah. He knew what
he was getting himself into. Do you know how much he prayed? This
is the part that we need to find. This is the part that we need to
connect with.
It's not easy for yourself to throw yourself in front of arrows,
to throw yourself in front of swords, to run out there. But the
spiritual height you need to be on to know that when Allah is with
me, and today, I will give my body for the sake of Allah, my blood
will be for the sake of Allah. Do we know the state of mind that we
need to be in.
This is Abu Asmaa.
This is the one that we love. This is the heart that he stood for.
How come we are not performing sujood, the way he performed
sujood? How come we are not making rugor, the way he made rugor? How
come we are not raising our hands at this time of the night to the
Prophet alayhi salatu, wasallah, crying in front of Allah,
Subhanahu wa Allah grant us victory against the oppressors.
How come? How come Islam prevailed because of him,
because of him, because of how he made Quran, because of the
sacrifice that he made for Deen. What sacrifice are we making for
Deen?
This is what we need to connect to with our history.
Any human being escaped,
any human being imagine, I'm telling you now, guys, mashallah,
the flag has been booked.
We are going to go down to Palestine. Go
straight into the battlefield. Who's ready?
Only
born now, only
now
can we now? Now, you must now, really now, you can add a
decision. It must be,
you must be in a certain level. When it comes to becoming Shahid,
it's not just something that Allah dish out to anyone.
You become Shahid is somebody that gives his life for Allah.
Now,
when Rasulullah wa
alaihi wa
sallam looked at the Sahaba ili,
saw Abu Bakr Al rah
leading the Sahara.
What
is that Allah subhanahu wa
this is when ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala says, Look, Muhammad,
there is your victory,
23 years of struggle,
fighting battles,
you're Aliyah,
the Imam of your Sahaba.
Look there.
They will take this Deen to the four corners of the world.
When Rasulullah closed his eyes,
what happened
if he died immediately, people became mutant.
People became
mutant. What do you know? Who do? He declared war against them.
What is this? What you do? You want to come speak against the
Rasulullah. We will with war against
all of them. Turn back to Islam. They understood the reality. Hey,
this is not the deen of Muhammad.
This is the dean of Allah.
So we must understand the reality. This is the we are now, the Yura
jib Ali aliba. We are not the one standing and performing Salah
here. And when you stand and perform salah, remember, you know
when Abu Bakr, Abu Asmaa di in the corner of his eye, he saw the
Prophet alayhi salatu wa salam.
Pulling his curtain,
and they say that what they saw was a noon that emanations from
the Prophet alayhi salatu. Was salams face and his smile out of
happiness and joy.
He knew he was going to leave. Why? Because just before that,
what did he do? He called every one of the companions, and what
did
you say to was revealed to them? Imagine a person comes, he speaks
in a third party,
and then the Angel of Death came to him and asked him, Do you
choose to live forever, or do you choose to meet with your Allah and
be with him.
One person cried.
One person cry. Who cried? Anybody know who cried?
Only one person cry.
Did you answer? Say? Abu
Bakr, Ramadi
Allah,
why did he cry?
Because he understood that the person that is revealing the
story, he is letting us know that he is giving us his farewell, he
will no longer be with us.
And
and what did Rasulullah say
as he exited sin Abu Bakr was leading the Salah, and as the
Prophet alayhi salatu wa Bucha wanted to step back until said
Nabu bakr stay in this state. Just
Rasul assalam came to stand next to him, radila and
Bilal Rasulullah, and who followed, who the Sahaba follow,
Sayyida, Abu Bakar, Radi Allahu
Rasulullah. What He desires, this is the one that will take the
reins from me. So follow him.
Jamaica, muslimi ashwara is a time that we need to reflect and
introspect with regards to our history and with regards to our
lives.
We need to fight the Battle of Karbala now
it is in front of us. We need to see what is HAQ and what is
batila. We need to look at our children, and we need to guide in
the right direction, because we need leaders of tomorrow that
needs to be hussains.
We need leaders of tomorrow that needs to fall in the footsteps of
Ahmadiyya.
We cannot give up. We cannot have leaders that give up. We have to
have leaders that have the sum of NUHA, salatul, that
you will be perpetual in the Dawah towards Allah subhanho wa taala,
oneness, towards Allah subhanahu wa, if we don't have that, and
what is going to happen to our Islam? What
is going to happen to us? Remember the boy that came to sing rahuman.
We didn't want our boys and our girls to stand in front of Allah
and say, My father, he did not do Haq and justice to me. My mother
did not do justice to me. This is our battle.
Let us fight that battle. These beautiful lessons from the past of
standing on Haqq. It is not something small, it is something
huge,
and these occasions are the occasions that gives us the
reminders
that we have giants that taught us how to and how to find solutions
and how to fight these battles. Karbala was a sad situation.
Jovan,
many of the great was slaughtered, and we will never, ever sign with
the oppressed, with the oppressor. What they have done, why Allah is
the One who will judge them? We will not be the judges.
We will be the one to take lessons. Hey, we cannot oppress.
Also a we cannot be the oppressed.
Last Listen, child. Normally, we speak about the tyrants or
oppressed. They will be answered by Allah. But we can also not be
the oppressed and do nothing, because we will also be answerable
by
Allah. Sam's example was, I will not be oppressed.
I will not be divulging and Allah, what day brain warrior was how
many you took with, how
many you took with
they thought it would be an easy task. No, it was not an easy task.
MashAllah took many of them,
and we know of the others that stayed behind. How Allah subhanahu
wa took them after. It was not a good thing. It was not a good
sign. We saw. Look how Yazid pastor.
Look how the one who hit Hussein over the head with a sword, look
how he died in front of the Kanban read that part of the history. It
was a natural SubhanAllah.
That is why we need to be very careful,
because we might understand and read the history, but not
implemented in our lives. That is not doing justice to ourselves,
that is not doing justice to Islam, that is not justice to read
to the Ummah
Allah, grant us the understanding of these happiness, these waqi ad
that took place, occurrences. It is, must be a means for us to turn
back to Allah. It must be a means for us to get closeness to Allah,
such a closeness that when the call comes, our iman and our
spirituality will be on such a state that we won't mind to give
our life for the sake of Allah.
Remember our brothers and sisters in ups,
they are being slaughtered.
They are being slaughtered for what? Just for being Muslim.
It's nothing else. We might say, No, it's because of outside. No,
the battle is huge. It's real, like they say,
the battle is against Islam,
but we understand prophesied by Rasulullah, we will be victorious.
We will be victorious. Mean, oops, it will be Allah. This is Allah's
words in his bishop, Allah, Allah subhana says,
Don't worry, my victory, in your victory is close. It will happen.
But what do we do? We don't slumber. We don't sleep. We fight
for that victory.
We stand up at night and cry in dungeon for that victory, because
we cannot be there. We cannot physically fight the fight. We
fight that battle by spending
us now.
Now we need to send money, because our places of worship needs to be
revamped. Inshallah, to Allah.
Who is going to see that that happened us. We are the ummah. We
are seeing our first people are being destroyed. Are we sleeping?
Alhamdulillah, we can walk freely to the masjid. Look how you've
come to Masjid. They target all the big days in Muhammad. They
target eight. They target 10 days of hijab. They targeted now. They
target Ashura. Why they don't want our people to go to Masjid. We
have that opportunity. So don't let tonight go by worship.
Worship your Lord Allah. Tonight. Cry to Allah. Allah must grant us
to be the hussains of our ummah.
We must be. We don't ask Allah. We ask for our children as well. But
Allah make me a Hussain. I want to be the one that fights haqpati. I
want to be the one that when I when I'm raised,
Muhammad, sallAllahu, sallam, the banner of the Prophet.
I see myself next
to
the what is the the verse, that is why I want to behave. I want to
move with the Shuhada
into Jannah. I want to move with the Aliyah, with the sign of him,
with the awliya. These are the people that I want to be connected
with, ya allah and Ya Allah, all of you to be Aliyah, all of you,
you must be the friends of Allah, because I believe
when you walk through Jannah, those of Jannah, they told Bucha,
they tried to give us advice.
Inshallah, with your
intercession that they all interjened And Allah, I promise,
make a promise to you. If I walk through the doors of Jannah and I
know you and I don't see you, I will ask for you make the Allah
must grant me that night,
that I must be ready that time that ya Allah I don't see waiting
by.
He's not here. That guy, masajid in Allah, that guy did this. He
did that. You know, you can reveal because you know the personhood
by Allah, it wasn't for him. Nobody would have heard the sound
in the masjid. You know, if it wasn't for my brothers here, that
is in the masjid. Yo Allah, you will not have been worshiped. So
inshaAllah,
I will ask for you. And there's one request I have from today. I'm
Inshallah, when we give the masjid, this was the Sunnah of the
sahaba. They used to know everybody in the masjid. They used
to know their name. They used to know their parents. They used to
know their children. So if there's somebody next to you that you
don't know, shall I introduce yourself? We cannot come to
Allah's house not knowing each other.
Am I right? This is the Haqq every believer,
the haqqan, every believer to know his
brother. Allah subhana, says that you must get to know each other.
So I make the request to our brothers and our sisters, and if
it is you look to the right. I don't know you. My name is. What
is your name? Mother, father, they still alive. Your children, Masha,
Allah, may. Allah gives you a great to know each
other. You know what that will bring? It will bring mahabha. It
will bring love amongst us. And you know.
When you don't see the brother, you ask, where is
that Buddha? I didn't see him as shit. For Allah, we must try to
find him, because now I know the brother, and if you don't know the
brother, you won't worry
Subhanallah, and that's why we don't worry about each other. But
they start worrying inshaAllah, let's have a concern for each
other. If we cannot have a concern for each other, how can we even
have a concern for others. It is already astray. They leading
themselves astray to the path of jahannam. Yeah, we need to come
with Haqq to take them from that path and take them to ha
inshaAllah. Allah grant us to start Allah. Bless you all may
Allah grant us ashuram
and accepting, accepted Ashura such an Ashura that we understand
the lessons that has been taught by these giants that came prior to
us. There are many more happenings that occurred, but inshaAllah,
these two is the most pertinent, and inshaAllah, these are the two
that we need to inshaAllah bring in our lives, happiness and joy.
Wallahi, be happy. Be sad. You have you have the right for them,
but let us not quarrel about it, because Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva,
there was victory on this day and there was a sad occasion on this
day. But both were victory so Inshallah, Allah blessed us all.
InshaAllah, ami, Leto Islam be once again in our time, that flag,
that the waves very high, that people look up to to say that this
is the deen that we want to follow inshaAllah. Why? Because Allah has
given us, as the vice chancellors, as the leaders of today, to show
people the beauty through the lessons of
the lessons of all the abiya and all those pious predecessors that
came prior to us. They made sacrifice for Deen. Allah grant us
also to be remembered like that, that we have been the sacrifice
for deed, but we are no longer, and people will bring to our for
us as well. InshaAllah, people may Allah, bless you. InshaAllah,
there's just an announcement.
