Or whether it is that we have that intention and that burning desire
in our hearts that we want to be of those inshallah will stand in
the holy lands in front of Bay to Allah, in front of the Kaaba
Sharifa, Masha, Allah, or whether it is we will stand in front of
the Kaaba of Seymour, Muhammad, sallAllahu, Alam. Thus indeed it
starts very, very early, as we know that we just came from the
month of Ramadan, the month of the Quran. Allah allowed us to
spiritually uplift ourselves. Allah allowed us that we can
connect with Allah in a way that we've never done throughout the
year. And Allah allow the spirituality to be on a high and
then Allah gives us aid. And
what happened at me, we said, Allahu, Akbar, Allahu. Akbar,
Allahu. Akbar, Allah, ILAHA, illallah, Allahu. Akbar, Allahu.
Akbar, we praise Allah, or to be praised on this day. This is the
covid. Eid, Allah's messenger says that for every nation, there is a
celebration, wahada, eidukum, and this is your eID. This is the day
that we celebrate. And how do we celebrate? By taqbir, showing the
greatness of Allah.
So what is this day? This day is called the first of shawar, the
day of Eid and the first of Shawal. It is known by us of what
the start of the month of hajj. So Hajj, don't start for the five
days Hajj, don't start yomul, Hijjah, the day when the month of
hajj is at our feet. It starts already in shawar. This is known
as the time and the period of Hajj. It starts in the month of
shawar, the first of shawar, it starts, and we start that day.
Just to remember, it starts with Takbir. And for our knowledge, how
does it
end? Anybody knows that we come there after Holy Father. What do
you
do the hajars, they don't partake in this
diet, you know, throw in the Jannah. You've walked for
kilometers and kilometers SubhanAllah. But on this morning,
you hear, when you said the diet after alifa, if you performed it,
you looked at your head down, and then you suddenly,
you hear the Imam Allah.
This happening. Hey, this happening will go back to me now,
azizia and I'm gonna go and sleep. Hang on. That's what we need at
that time, tiredness. But this is how it is. The greatness of Allah
constantly being there
is being sung from Shawal up until the day of the days of Hajj. You
will hear this. And after that, right? We go back to Mina and we
fulfill our duties at Mina, go to throw the jamarat al aqabah, the
jamarat al usta and the Jamaat as sugara. And for those who, after
the second day Inshallah, prefer the Sunnah, they will stay for the
third day, which is recommended. Why is it highly recommended?
Because there are so as said so when he did so Masha, Allah,
that's why we do this. Allah, allow us understanding. Ameen,
so Hajj. It's amazing us being here today. It is Allah, we see
the numbers. You know, it's not that much. Why many people not
going for Hajj?
But that, let this not be a deterrent, because that intention
that you have in your heart Allahu, Akbar, now I'm sitting
here. My knee was when I came to city Allah. I'm sitting here,
please make me also of the people whose names will be written to go
for Hajj. And every year I make the statement it is not too late
for me to be still, be accepted.
For you. We sit here Subhanallah, we think that, no, I can't go for
Hajj. I've been already Shakira, Wallahi, Allahu, taala, if he
calls guests, if he calls people to his house, he is the one that
decide no. Sauk decide no accreditation is needed when Allah
decides Allah brings us forth. So I always have that hope. Yeah,
Allah, there's still a few, few days left.
We're going inshallah. I mean, I mean we all going. I mean, you
know, the effort and the sacrifice is important. Make the effort,
give that first step towards the journey, and Allah will
facilitate. And that is what should constantly be. Constantly
be in the heart. And there's there are those who made intention to
Allah. And we ask Allah that for those who are accepted, may Allah
allow them to fulfill this journey. But there are many that
are going,
and they are prepared, with their wealth, with their health, with
everything, and they will come to the day when they need to leave.
And they.
Then What did Allah do? Allah don't accept him.
So Hajj is not in our hands. Hajj is not in South hands. We are we.
We do what we have to do, but Hajj is in Allah's hands. So Allah
calls wavd Allah. Allah calls the guest of Allah to Allah, that
under the honored guest of Allah to Allah, these will only be the
ones that will be going for Hajj
and Allah, except, I mean, so
Islam is much more than a religion.
Islam is a practical way of life, you know. And how did this start
so beautifully. This lifestyle started with Muhammad, sallAllahu,
alaihi wasallam. How we try to learn about this messages Allah
and try to emulate him. SallAllahu, alaihi wa sallam. So
his lifestyle has been emulated
by Muslims throughout the years, and it will be emulated up until
the day of care people will imitate him. SallAllahu, alayhi wa
sallam.
Nabi sa Salam tour the world. The greatest lessons in morality and
religion is a blind character won over the hearts of his enemies, no
matter how much you hate Islam,
no matter how much you hate the Muslims. But if you find a place
in your heart and you open up your mind and you say, I want to know
this person, Muhammad. SallAllahu, sallam, there is no way that you
will not fall in love with him. SallAllahu,
this is, this is a proven fact. I many, many people coming into my
office, and they hate Islam. They tell us why you like this, why
Islam was started like this. And then I say, Okay, where did you
get this? Or no, from this? And I say, Okay, you read from sources.
Can I give you a source that we read from? And then you just, you
know, see, and the best source is the Quran. First read the Quran,
and then after that, Mashallah. Now you read about the history of
Muhammad and how things happened and transpired, and Wallahi, they
come and sit in your office, and you see these people were in heart
and hearts, how their tears start to flow from their eyes. How come
I did not know about this person?
How come the the lies were spread about this person? They say, did
you look at the people who emulate him? You say, Yeah, but I only see
what I say, Yeah, that's what you see. You see agendas. You see
people with agendas. That's all you see. But why don't you go to
the people who live up to the standards of this man, who love
this man? Why don't you ask them? Because if I want to know
something about Christianity, I'm going to go to the top people of
Christianity to find out what is the truth about Christianity. I'm
not going to go to the ordinary person on the road, because he's
going to tell me his version. But go to the scholars of
Christianity. Now you get a picture of what true Christianity
is, and how much love they have for their religion, and why they
follow this religion so passionately so. Go to the
scholars of Muhammad, sallAllahu, sallam. Go and sit there and go
and learn about him. Then you'll see, you'll fall in love with even
that person that's teaching
him, because he's emulating the best of Allah's creation. His
character is supposed to be like that of Muhammad, sallAllahu,
sallam.
This is inshaAllah. What, what it means a way of life following this
way of Muhammad SAW is important, right? And one of the things that
we discuss in the life of Muhammad SAW is hajj and umrah and
inshaAllah. We will learn about this indilahi, tava, rakawa,
taala, so at the conquest of Makkah Rasulullah sallallahu
sallami, the first thing that he did was destroy the idols. Destroy
the idols and Wallahi that idols were destroyed. But till today, in
our time, idol worshiping is happening. It's happening among
us.
We also have little idols here. Clean a hot touches,
by nobody. Do it hot touches, they used to say this one lie was words
that was mentioned and we didn't understand it that way. But I
claim hot touches, they
used to tell us that get rid of these things in your heart, that
you hold on so much to,
and please Allah and Rasul in your heart, sallAllahu, alayhi wa
sallam.
And if Allah needs Rasul is in your heart, then everything else
becomes easy.
So when you speak to the youngsters about the same Allah,
that is the biggest challenge to us, the biggest challenge to take
that out of our heart that we love, because they loved on here,
any youngster asking me once a nice call, he's not going to say,
Okay, I'll be satisfied with the UNO and saying there's no uno in
his vocabulary.
Or, if
it's a motorbike, it must be a ninja. Or, oh,
Shala, are we talking right? So they they have expectations, and
also they are attached to these things. Why? Because they attach
value to things. And why do they attach value to things? Because
they see these things.
There's emotions that go with it. When they see a house, they don't
want a small house.
House. I want a big family. Okay? Now today, they don't want big
families. They just want a big house, a big house with one child.
That's sufficient. It's actually the strangest things that is
happening in today's life.
You want such a big house, but you only want one child, and when the
child goes out, it's only you and your wife and Allah knows best
what you're going to do with that big house. And this is the sad
reality of today's life, the attachment to materialistic
things, to this worldly things. And then if this attachment are to
the worldly things, what happened Allah is Rasul is being
moved from the hearts, moved from the limbs. So now we have other
expectations, expectations of the world, the expectations of the
West, the approvement of this world, the approvement of the
West, the stamp of approval from everyone besides Allah in His
Rasul. That's why the Prophet saw him. The first thing he did was
get rid of idols.
That must be removed from your hearts. It must be removed from
your sight. It must be removed from your environment, because who
needs to be there in your heart? Who needs to be in your sight? Who
needs to be in your environment? It must be Allah and His Rasool.
If that happens, everything else becomes easy, because we will be
people of Alhamdulillah.
We will be people of whatever our path is, Alhamdulillah, whatever
comes into our path. Alhamdulillah, and Wallahi, I'm
speaking about this. It links up to what Hajj is. When you're on
Hajj, people think Hajj is a journey which is easy. Hajj is a
very difficult journey that you undertake. Hajj is you getting it
and rid yourself from everything that you love?
How easy is it to leave your children behind? How easy to leave
every your assets, your business, everything you leave behind, and
when you travel on this journey? What? What? What? What does? What
do we teach prepare yourself, because you are going to Don
yourself with your own coffin.
This is how you're going to be when you close your eyes one day.
So your therapy is actually telling your kids and telling your
family, and you detaching yourself from everything, saying that I am
leaving, not knowing if I'm going to come back. I might die. Some
people say I want to die on this journey. And Allah knows best for
the hikma, that there's a lot of wisdom in that. You know,
people want to die there. People want to die in Iran. People want
to die in front of the Kaaba. People want to die in Medina.
I don't know everybody feels here. I feel like that. Alhamdulillah,
May Allah take me in Makkah. Allah take me Madina in shaju, in front
of the KAB in front of the Allah. I just want to die there. That's
the
best of places. That must be a yearning. You know,
I don't know. Maybe I go when I come back home,
subhanAllah, I
still want to live my life. May Allah grant us all long lives. But
when we close our eyes, we can make the Allah. There's no problem
with it, but we still make dua for long life. But if Allah take us,
let it be in places such as these places. I mean, if not they Allah,
Allah grant us into to die for him, inshaAllah, I mean, but Rasul
saw some remove this. So we remove this. And the reality sunk in our
hearts, in our minds, hey, I'm gonna take, I'm gonna undertake
this journey now. And for those who haven't been before, you'll
see the day when you leave your house.
It's heavy, it's difficult, but it is joy, but it's also sadness and
grief that goes with you. Subhanallah
Paj is a journey of beauty, but Hajj is a journey of sacrifice as
well.
Hajj is a
lesson of life
going to these places. You know, there's a lot of value attached to
these places that you are going to visit, Arafat, VENA, musdalifah,
the Haramein, Sharifa,
there's a lot of
faba IL and virtues that we will be discussing about these places.
Inshallah, the barakah island, but the Prophet Muhammad SAW destroyed
the idols around the holy Kaaba. And what did he do? He restored
the pristine beauty and sanctity of the holy haram.
So at that time, the Haramein was idol worshiping to place. People
walked around, circumambulated the Kaaba naked. There was no What
do you call it? What is
the word I'm looking for? Respect, you know, call this the sanctity
of those places. And now we know Allah says Lidia,
Tina, barakna, hula. There is baraka surrounded by these places
are surrounded by barakah. One salah. One salah. Yes, Allah.
In the Haram is 100,000
times more reward than anywhere else in the book. Imagine that
100,001
Subhanallah in Mecca, there's 100,000
more rewards than anywhere else in the
room. One act of Sadaqah, 100,000 more rewards than anywhere else in
the
world. She's these places. These places are not just there,
because, okay, I must go for Hajj and fulfill the duty. No,
you'll be a changed person to come from Hajj. There are many that we
some win just for the intention of going, I'm just going to fulfill
it. But when they came back,
the stories that flow from their their mouths Allah gave Hidayah,
Allah opened up places in their hearts that they never knew about.
We know. We know a lot of these people. They changed their lives.
And then some
they go. They had all the expectations in the world, and
they came there. Subhanallah Allah accepted from them. They came
home. And they have all the complaints in the world about the
Holy Lands. It was the worst this agent rail Allah, they didn't
fulfill this duty. Is that why we are going?
Nobody said Hajj is going to be perfect. Nobody said the journey
must be whose journey can be perfect?
Wallahi, this is not for the agents to think they can do what
they want. They must fulfill, but
if they didn't fulfill that, Haqq, leave that you. Alhamdulillah,
say, Shukria Rab, you have taken me, but Allah will deal with the
one that oppressed you and they did not do justice to you. Allah
will deal with them as well, and Allah protect us all. And Allah
protect them.
But Hajj is something that we shouldn't look at. Other things we
should focus upon ourselves. You have your wife with you, and
Makkah, Allah, your wife is an aum. You stand in
Arafat. You're not going to say, baby, come. Let's make dua
together. Stand. Together. Stand on your own and make dua. I will
stand on my own and make dua. I want to be with my Allah. You be
with you all
* is for yourself. Hajj is a journey that will transform you.
Allah, grant us understanding. Inshallah, so, the conquest of
Makkah. Makkah
was then
in the hands of non Muslims, and now Makkah became a place that is
ruled by the Muslims. Allahu Akbar changed. Can you imagine? So
Rasulullah Sallam is entire family. He himself was exiled, the
difficulties that he had to undergo. He was thrown out of his
own homelands, and now he comes back and he conquers this lands.
And what is the expectation? The expectation is retaliation.
Those people, subhanAllah, that has done this to the Prophet
sallam, they scattered. They ran out to the outskirts, because
today is going to be a day of bloodshed.
Muhammad is going to finish us today.
And the Sahaba was ready. Allah, they were ready assalam. They
thought, today we're going to take back what was ours. And the
Prophet SAW, they say, there was not a day that he was more humble,
that he entered
makatul, mukarrama, the precincts of Makkah. He lowered himself. He
was his head was so low he was on a camel. But it it seemed like he
wanted to sunk into the grounds because of his humility. And what
did he say? He uttered the words he said, Today will be a day of no
bloodshed. Today will be a day of forgiveness and brotherhood.
Allah, Allah, Allah,
the people that harmed him, the people that killed his family,
they were all there,
and this is what ma does to us. What do we do before we leave? You
can hate a person, how much,
and I'm using a very harsh word, hate. We're not allowed to hate
Allah. Protect us. We are not allowed to a Muslim is not allowed
to hate another Muslim. We can't do this. We're not allowed to hate
anyone. We are ummah of rahmah. We have a Lord of rahmah, Rasul, of
rahma, salam, and we are the ummah of rahmah. But somehow, sometimes
we slip up. We hate because of what some particular person has
done to us, and maybe not to us, to our family, maybe not even to
me, but to my mother, to my father. I hate this person for
what he's done. But Allah, what will you do in Allah? You know
that message is sent on your phone.
You have been accredited or Hajj 2024
it's like the whole world stands still.
Is this true?
You expected something, right? And you knew, Okay, now it's going to
be this year. But the reality only comes. When did we.
Message comes that SMS can vote now the reality, what's the first
thing you do? Hey, babes, our gods must make our gods. You know, we
must go and visit the people. We must go And subhanAllah announce
to the world we have been accepted for Hajj. And what do you say on
your God?
That's a beautiful message. Please forgive us for what we have done,
knowingly and unknowingly,
and how do we say that with sincerity? Why? Because I'm going
for Hajj. You immediately forget about that. Whatever that person
has done to me. You're going to think you know what you're it's
going
to be a difficult thing, but I'm going to go south him. Think
what you
want? My brother, I'm going for Hajj.
I really want the Hajj to be accepted.
This is what transpired. Sarasota Salam came and he said, Today will
be a day of forgiveness. And did he turn against his word?
SallAllahu, alayhi, wa sallam, never
when he when he said that he meant,
he meant it so much that he was also trialed on the day
SallAllahu. Can you imagine that
he said the words, and immediately, this is what Allah
does to us. Allah is going to test you.
Who really are you genuine? Muhammad, you're genuine. You say,
you come in here, Masha, Allah, you say you forgive everybody, no
bloodshed. Who's coming in front of him? Hint, who's hind the very
person who instructed got an assassin to kill his beloved
uncle, Hamza. Here's the person in front of
you. Now. What does the Prophet do? She said, Ya Rasulullah,
sallAllahu, sallam, please forgive me. I want to become a Muslim.
Looked at her
and he turned away,
and she come to the other side.
So Ya Rasulullah,
I'm him, the wife of Abu Sufyan.
I want to ask you for forgiveness, and I want you to forgive me.
But I also want to be a
Muslim, a
Muslim. And
the third time she said, rasulallah, please forgive me for
what I have done
today. I want to become a Muslim. And the Rasul said, I forgive you,
and He allows her, not that it's because it's up to him, and she
became a Muslim at his hands. And he's got one condition. And the
condition is, Alhamdulillah, you are allowed, because this is not
my Deen, is the deed of Allah. You are now a Muslim. But I have one
request, just a request, because it's very difficult for me. You
are the one that ordered and placed the order for the assassin
to take the head of Hamza. And the way that you took it, you put your
leg on top of his chest, and you took the cup the liver, and you
bit the liver like that, and you torn the liver in your mouth to
show your dominance on the day when you took my uncle's life. So
one request, just try not to come into my company.
Islam is for everyone, but hurt in my heart, I don't want that, you
know, to always be there if I see you're going to remind me of the
day showing us allowance. You know, I go to shabiha, but not if
I'm not going to be, I'm not going to visit your gift, you know,
because break your name. But it's not true. It's not true. Shabir, I
love him very much. Alhamdulillah knows that, but you are allowed
certain things in Sharia, but we're not going to carry the
person in the heart. That is not what we're going to know.
We forgive and we understand that Islam is for all. We cannot
deprive people from Islam. We have to allow them into the beautiful
fold of Islam and Allah. So we all have our little idols that we are
fighting, our little demons they call but let us take listen and
Emma from this beautiful lesson
of Rasulullah, how many people harmed him and hurt him, his
entire people, his entire What do you call it?
People of his homeland? They exiled him to another country, to
another city, subhanAllah, but he found it in his heart to forgive,
and he got rid of all those little, small things, subhanAllah
and what happened Abu Sufyan himself? Can you imagine a
brother, 1000 men led by Abu Sufyan
Salam, fighting the battle? He came again. How many Muslims you
know? I.
Was slaughtered
by the leadership of Abu Sufyan, by the leadership of Abu Jahl, by
the leadership of Abu Lahab. All these they were the honorables
among the Quraysh. But when the time came for forgiveness, He
forgave. And they said that Abu Sufyan the very person that stood
against Islam. They said, when Abu Sufyan became Muslim,
and he went into a battle of him, he's very near as Ya Allah. Let me
double the vengeance that they had towards the Muslims, towards those
who fight Islam today. And they say Abu salmon was in the front
line. So how this is Allah changed hearts.
So that person that you hate and the person that hates you a lot,
change the heart. That person becomes the best in your life.
That person become the person to make dua for you. That person
become the person that will stand by you. That person will become
the person that will protect you and guide you. You know, this is
how amazing it is. And it all starts by beit Allah. It all
starts here in the precincts of makatulma Karma. When Rasul saw as
entered and showed humility, he did not boast. He did not shoot
out his chest and say, Today, I have known he kept himself humble.
Because what did he realize? Everything happens only through
the wall of Allah. Whatever happens here, it's not because of
me, Muhammad, is because of my Creator, Allah, jalajera, talafi,
Ola. Allah grant us understanding of that. Amin garopal enemy, so
Hajj
in Quran, in sunnah, jam Muslim, mean Allah mentioned in the Quran,
badjiwara, allow the Allah says, and complete and fruitful the Hajj
and the Umrah. So here's two things, Allah speaks about Hajj.
Allah speaks about Umrah. So Hajj in itself, we know when he
started, Isabella, if you are able to do it, you have to do it. It's
incumbent. It's an Arkham. When you are able to do so, you have
your wealth, you have your health, you have gone through the program
of whatever there is in order for you to go the journey is safe. You
can take a plane Masha Allah. You can go no issues. You have to
fulfill this duty of Hajj. It
is very important to note that if you are able, you have everything
in place. There's no deterrent, and it becomes incumbent upon you
immediately to fulfill the duty. You are not allowed to postpone
it.
This is something you know that is happening in our world. If you
look at if you look at the Muslims today, many of them, many of the
Muslims today, they are quite capable of going,
but they themselves postponed. Why? What do they say? I don't
think I'm ready. It's not about you being ready. It's about Allah
giving you the opportunity. You don't need to be ready. You just
go. Allah will put everything in place, if you have your health, if
you have your wealth, if you have the ability to go online and
register and accreditation come through, you have no right upon
yourself to say, I don't think I'm ready. You need to go.
You have to go for Hajj,
because who have the guarantee
next year? You have everything now you are able no issues. Who gives
you,
you know, that ability to say that next year? Angel,
oh, no, no, no, today, I'm not, you know, I'm only 25 years old.
Now I'll go and I'm 40. Who has the ability to say, I will live up
from 40. Nobody knows. So you are going to be questioned the day of
qiyama by Allah. And I've given you wealth, I've given you health,
I've given you every opportunity, and you turn away by calling to
you. That's why my first words were people, if they say that,
what is the word? They're going to
not postpone. What is it? Differ? Yeah, they're going to defer till
the next year. I always say, don't differ.
Don't differ. Allah will take you Inshallah, and Allah will take you
how Allah wants to take you. And my mother in law was a great
example to me, you know, I told them, we don't go. You don't ever
Hajj
is difficult. I went for Hajj. I know what it is you. You alone is
a woman. She told me my gun
for Hajj and she went alone into she said it was extremely
difficult. But the very next year, no Hajj because it was covid.
She couldn't go. 2020 she couldn't go. 2021 she couldn't go. 2022
thought everything was closed. She
said, can you see?
Imagine I didn't go.
What would have happened? You can do it. Subhanallah, so true. So.
You learn lessons.
She knew in her heart that I'm ready. Allah has given me the
money. Allah has given me the health so I can still walk.
I'm going to go no matter what. Inshallah and she booked herself
with a group of females. Alhamdulillah, they went. She said
it was extremely difficult, but then I understood how you supposed
to be difficult. How'd you not supposed to be easy? The strangest
thing is today,
mashaAllah to our our people of the Haram aid, they try to make
things very easy for us today. And it shouldn't be like that. Han
should be a sacrifice. Han should be where you, Allah, think about
the Hajj of Muhammad Sallallahu. Alayhi wa said, how we can even
compare ourselves to the Hajj of Muhammad Sallallahu, alayhi wa
sallam, Allah says a complete Hajj, and then Allah speaks about
Umrah. So there's two views upon this. Some people say even Umrah
once in a life is incumbent, because Allah, ati muhanja, one
Umrah, that hajj wa Umrah, Allah, connected with each other, right?
So both of it once in your life, you must fulfill that duty.
Others say, No, it is not a fault. But if you by the means, you
should try to perform it. InshaAllah and the Shafi imadha,
fulfill both go for Hajj and Umrah. It's a duty upon yourself.
If you are able to do so, you should do so and Allah grant is
understanding complete hajj and umrah for Allah. It should only be
for Allah. You know, some people say, Oh, in the past, it was like
that. And then only people say evil Afshar. They don't say that
if Allah accept the person, Allah accept the person is what you do
it for the sake of Allah, if He does it for India. Any other sake,
somehow, Allah still looking at him with mercy,
because Allah, don't take you and me. Allah take him and Allah take
him again. Allah take him again. And all that was can see is a but
Allah, Allah, don't take you and I. And so let us be careful with
our mouths, Allah, except somebody make to AFD. But the Allah
minister for Allah? Forgive him. May Allah, if you do added he make
for us. Did Allah accept the duality? Please forgive us as
well, not as a it's his choice.
Make dua like me also, I wish Allah can take me every year.
Really, I wish Allah can take every
year. I mean Buddhas, because, you know, I go to offer you
inshaAllah and wallah. I won't pray. What people say Allah, he
chose me every year. Inshallah, like Allah wills, right, but I
will keep on making dua for the entire Ummah, because what better
place that you can make to add in the haramaid?
Our mouths and our tongues today cannot be, you know, controlled
anymore because of our nafs. If it was me going everywhere,
take a hill. Shara. Now they say it about me. I'm not gonna worry.
But now, because it's not mean, I have a lot to say, Aji,
we must be happy for the next person. If a person flourish, we
must be happy for this person. That is what Islam is. And if
we're happy in Ventura the Malaika, say, I'm in the same to
you.
Subhanallah ala Taala goes on by saying, for man Tamata, Abu
umrati, il al *, I must say, Salam al Hadi Allah says, and
whosoever joins Umrah into Hajj, perform Hajj Tamato. That is the
Hajj that we normally perform, that when we go, we normally go
earlier.
So what do we go in? We in tamaka. We go in with an ommara, and then
we call it the fellows for your thought, Hajj, state done. And
then we done AI haram again, and then we go into Hajj. So that's
cool. Tamat to Hajj, where we start with an umbrella, and then
we go into Hajj, right? And then we get
Kiran. What is Kiran? Kiran is you go in for Hajj. First you enter
for the days of Hajj, and then after Hajj you perform your
Homura, alright, so that is called Kiran, another way that you can
perform your Hajj. And last is called Ifrah. If rad means I'm
only there for the five days of Hajj
only come. So there's three ways that I can perform Hajj, Tamato,
which is our way, the Capetonian and the Joe burgers, where we go
before Hajj, and then we first perform Amara, then we spend some
time, and then we go into our Hajj. Then after Hajj, we leave
all right, subhanAllah, ask a Capetonian, and Hajj is done, no
matter how much you love Makana class, it's
only one place you see, I want to go home. I don't know why it is
like
It's the strangest thing using
bully. I want to go home.
Of them, they don't want to. We want to go home SubhanAllah. Some
people booked off the Hajj. Maybe sometimes they want to go to AX.
Well, why you see people cry? I saw this in my own time. When I
don't you want to take the ticket, I'll pay the cost. You know, we
because
we've played now.
They want to give up the because they want to go home after Hajj.
Hajj is a sacrifice. Hajj is not supposed to be easy. It's supposed
to be like that, right? So Allah, make it easy for us. So Tamato,
and then Allah said, then you should slaughter a sacrificial
animal. So also, what we do we we slaughter when we're on Hajj. And
then allow the ALA goes on by saying
fasyamo
Talaat was 17, either to camera. So what the matter? Why do we
slaughter that? She because over the philosophy, right? So, because
we've done it, we need to slaughter pain attempt. That's why
we slaughter. And then Allah. Allah says, if you can't do that,
if I cannot afford that, he should fast three days during Hajj and
seven upon your return. So during the Hajj time, then you must pay
fast for three days and then pay in the seven days when you return
home. Inshallah, that is 10 days complete Allah. Allah speaks about
so why do we mention this? We show the importance of Hajj. We show
the importance of ramra. We show the importance for doing it, for
the sake of Allah and the ways that we can perform Hajj. Then in
another verse, Allah, Allah says, Al Hajj. Humluma followed Hajj.
Allah speaks here that hajj is well known months, right? Like
we've explained, Hajj, don't start on the hija. Hajj start the first
of shawar, the day of Eid. That is when Hajj starts. I'm talking
about the period of Hajj. Hajj
starts way beyond that. Hajj start the day that you make your
intention.
If you make your intention when you're 10 years old, then
mashaAllah, you build yourself up. That is when your Hajj started.
You must work and live your life now, according to the day when you
go on this journey, you are right 100%
Hajj don't start on the day when you leave from a home. We have it
wrong all the time. Subhanallah, Hajj starts when you make that
intention. Allah says it's in the well known months. So whoever
intend Hajj in it, then there should be no obscenity. So
starting in Shoah,
no obscenity
and no quarreling.
Don't argue with those was kind of weirdos. Was
going Asmaa says was control
angry man is angry man. But Jesus was a fool of the biggest four.
But this is by absent we fight. You know,
Ramadan taught us that we can control ourselves. So here, start
here in the months of hajj, no obscenity. Don't do haram. Don't
witness haram. Don't touch haram. Don't walk to haram. Don't see
everything that's haram. Move away from
what I fuss. And Allah says, Don't quarrel. Don't argue. Many people
will come in front of you. Shaytaan will allow them to come,
and they could have an effect on you, and you would want to argue
and quarrel with it. Things will happen in front of you, because
Allah takes you. Remember, you're going to go for Hajj now I'm going
to
test you so much. Shaitan will be so busy with you. You will argue
with everyone, and you will think that you are right.
People will start
looking at
the offer. So Allah mentions, in the time of Hajj, right? Don't
quarrel
and don't debate, and stay away from it. And then Allah, Allah
says,
uma TAF ala with hayri Ya Allah, Allah. Allah says, whatever good
you do, Allah knows it,
whatever good you do. So in these months, increase in goodness,
increase in khair, increase in spending, increase in doing more
actions that is beloved by Allah. Why? Because Allah knows what you
are doing. And Allah goes on by saying, What does Allah do for
razad Taqwa? So this is very important going on Hajj, the
provision that you need to make, some people think the provisions
is, your wealth is purchase bags must be the what? What's the bags?
His name silini Must be the Salini one, you know, I must, no, it's
not that. What Allah speak about the provisions, with as a word of
your provisions must be Taqwa. It must be being conscious of Allah.
If you are a person that are absent minded from Allah to Allah,
do you think that hajj will be able to change you?
I can't just wake up the five days of Hansi. I know for Hajj, and I'm
just going to do.
Do this
inshallah. You can right if you go, if Allah accept mashaAllah,
but the preparation is utmost important, because if you are a
person that are conscious of Allah, Hajj will be very easy,
because you're gonna make the tawaf and I bud stuff,
he's gonna, he's gonna knock you, knock you on your feet,
either that or
that's, that's all you see in Mecca.
They don't they don't speak, G, G, Aja, Aja. Sabha Sabha Sabha Sabha
Sabha. Who can suffer if they have no taqwa, who can suffer if
they're not conscious of Allah. Imagine you have no Sabbath.
You need Sabha. But what Sabba comes taqwa, the best provision
that you can have is being conscious of Allah. And this is
what we're going to discuss. What is it to be conscious of Allah?
Right, to increase in your goodness and Wanda wahi and to
abstain from what is bad. So increase in your goodness. Detail,
Awami Allah, when it comes to the matters of Allah, you increase in
that you work and you build yourself on that ad cow, Salah,
dua, Quran recitation. This is your life. This is now into attach
yourself to the matters of Allah and getting close to him, jala,
jalalu. And what that does involves your taqwa, and you are
conscious of your your maker, so if anything happens, it doesn't
bother you. It's fine. Allah, I'm focused on my Rob,
right? And then whatever is bad, prove him prohibited. Abstain from
it. It doesn't affect me. What that does? It brings me closer to
Allah. When you see the stuff, Illah, and move away. I don't want
to indulge in the stuff. It'll lie. Move away. I abstain from it.
I can't do this. So what does it do? It brings you close to Allah.
But as now, you increase in what
I'm ready. In Mecca, anything can happen. You know, say, in Mecca,
what is it? No. Haram happens. It's a lie. Haram happens
everywhere. And Hajj, you're going to be trial. And Hajj, you're
going to be tested, right like this muy for means. So
you're going to be tested on lowering your gaze.
Just the same thing. If you're not used to lowering gaze in here, you
didn't practice, you didn't focus, you didn't ask Allah for
forgiveness and metoba. You think it's going to be easy in Mecca?
Yes, you see every flavor in Mecca.
Maybe it came out wrong
stuff, but you see of every type of denomination there, every
ethnicity, everyone is there.
So you need to be prepared. Your provisions must be right. My
provisions is taqwa Allah. It is being conscious of my Rab Jala
jalalu, for the ladies as well. You see handsome Oxley Asmaa was
extremely handsome. SubhanAllah
yakini, laughing. Isn't that true? That's true. Alhamdulillah,
subhanAllah,
but you will find that even the females will be tested. The only
males females are also tested.
But if your provisions has been done properly, subhanAllah will
make the journey easy for us. Inshallah, the best provision
Allah says, is Taqwa.
And Allah Tala says, and have Taqwa of me?
What the
have Taqwa of me? Fear me in these situations, because here,
everything good that you do are multiplied, but everything bad
that you do is also multiplied. For you, be careful. Fear me in
these situations, Allah say, and for who is this only? Allah says,
yeah, all the people of intelligence, if you're
intelligent, you will not go against Allah's matters. You will
not go against Allah's commands, be careful in this lands. This is
my lands. I declare to be holy. It's called the Haram, a Sharif
for a reason.
It's a place of nobility, a place of sanctity.
It's a lofty place. It's a place where Masha Allah, that if you are
there and you you are online, what happens if the people leave those
legs all the Noor that they've taken from there? That's why
everybody goes from all the four corners of the world, whether
you're from India, whether you're from Nigeria, whether you're from
a small, little place. They're called tam baptu.
People go for Hajj. I.
And they leave there. They go to the areas, and they spread the
light and the noor of this place that Allah called haram
Hajime, Allah grant us acceptance.
It's only for the people of Haqq, only for the people of
intelligence. Allah grant us understanding. I mean, I mean,
I'll end up with this today inshallah. This is just giving the
Quranic perspective today and next week Inshallah, we will jump into
and deal with what is going to happen and what is going to come
in sha Allah. Allah says, walahi, ALA, nasihi Jul Beti, Minister,
tah Ilahi, sabila and Hajj, to the house, to the Kaaba, is a duty
that man owes to Allah.
It's a dick
now that all of us is satire. Didn't go yet we owe Allah. You
must work towards it.
You must work. Every believer must strive to go for Hajj. It's Arkan.
It's a rukun of Islam. What's the
archangel Rita is so Ramadan, 100
you have to you have to work towards it. You have to work
towards being able to save the old people. Allah, but I always say,
sometimes we don't realize what jewels we had in our lives, our
grandfathers and grandmothers, that one comma, five, comb,
bottle, we didn't understand it.
Forward, run forward five taxi service between India
for years, for years, they say
bottles, yes, Mahan, Allah, yours
died my Hajj. Here,
those days Loli mataini days me Hajj here, And subhanAllah, they
went. How many times my granny went? I think two or three times
in her lifetime, when she was 80, I think the first time she went,
she was 80. The second time she went, she was 8789
that's ajini, but Allah took them.
How many? As we say for years, we can't go
Allah, except as I mean so Allah. Allah says it's a, it's a debt
owed to Allah. We need to owe it. We need to fulfill that,
Inshallah, they did, and pay it to Allah. And Allah, after that,
says, but I'm not. I'm not unjust with you. It is, man is that a if
you are able to do so,
if you are able, if you did now for your entire life, allowing
your intention, Allah grant us all who, and for those who has left
this world with intention of Hajj, Allah grant them the reward of the
Hajj. I mean,
but we must have that, but in our hearts that we want to fulfill
this duty. InshaAllah, it's narrated in sanatil media that the
man came to Rasul saw, and we thought Nabi Muhammad saw that his
father is old and cannot perform Hajj or Umrah.
There's another, another point, right? But they can't perform
Hajj. And Umrah Sam then instructed him to perform both
hajj and umrah on the behalf of his father. So if we have a parent
that has left this world, and we know, I know my father, you know
your father? They had a year they wanted to go to the holy lands.
The Allah didn't give them an opportunity. You do it on behalf
of them. Allah will reward you, and Allah will reward your father.
Is one inshaAllah. Oh, your mother. I mean, so yeah, you know,
we call it what. We call it the battle Hajj. But how does it work?
A battle Hajj, I can't say, Okay, I'm first going to perform my
father's Hajj, and I'm going to perform my Hajj. No, I battle Hajj
only work if you perform your Hajj already. You must fulfill your
Haqq, your duty of your fart, Hajj. You compulsory Hajj. Then
after that, you can inshaAllah do Abu hajj on behalf of a family
member in sha Allah. So Hajj, Umrah are both far according to
the Shafi Madara, it is hajj and umrah. Umrah also on behalf of
them. InshaAllah, Hajin Umar, both fart, according to the Shafi
Imada, based on what is seen about from the Quran in the sun. This is
proof from the Quran and the sun. Taj wala, Umar Ali La, remember
right manista, taali, sabila, if you're able to do so. It is stated
in tufault AJ BA, Imam Hajar and me, as well as numerous other
Shafi text, that it is hard for us to do hajj and umrah Inshallah, so
next week in Hillah, we'll jump into Hajj preparation immediately.
So we'll prepare ourselves for the journey of Hajj next week will be
amazing. And then we'll do the fiqh of Hajj after that as well.
Inshallah, hopefully next week we'll go into the fiko Hajj
already a little bit. And then the week after that, Inshallah, we'll
conclude with the fiqh of Hajj. And the last one will be the
ziyar. You know, the ziyar is always nice. He spiritually uplift
you. So I want to leave you here on a high note, Inshallah, who's
leaving five this year, we'll see Mashallah. Inshallah, we're going
to, we're going to
to soften you up so nicely that when you are here, leaving from
here, then the only thing that happens is tears of.
From your eyes in going for Hajj, and everybody's going to be on
such a spiritual high, I want to be in your bag that time you take
me with inshaAllah,
but we are going to speak about the ziyaras and the virtues of it.
And you know what it does to us, all those things inshallah will
discuss. Third week is dedicated to the thick of Hajj. So there,
but Inshallah, I hope next week we will be able to enter into the
thick of Hajj already and conclude it the next week. Inshallah, may
Allah bless you all. Is it
time? Allah, bless us all. May Allah grant everyone that has
intention for Hajj, especially for our beloved brother, mashaAllah,
going in hajj, abuna Hajj, aburu. Inshallah, Allah allow him to go
safely and come back safely for him to fulfill all his duties with
illahi, Tabara, qata Allah, and inshallah for all that has
intended. Sitting here, may it be that this year inshallah can still
be an opportunity. And don't think about the money Allah brings the
money. Allah brings the wealth. I experienced this in my own life,
subhanAllah, and if it's not the Sierra, it will be as soon as
possible. I mean, but Allah, bless you all. Inshallah, if anybody
wants the book, I think just let me know that I will send this copy
of the note inshallah to everybody that is present, and we can send
it to whoever also desires and need it. Inshallah, Tara Kumar,
fiko masala, malaria, wakato, subhanAllah, Alhamdulillah.
