the urgency with which we require the funds for the purchasing of
the property, which is for Fiona Crescent now.
Well, I'm not going to make an emotive argument, because when I
do, I get emotional. So Inshallah, just to give the facts, and I
think it's important, because initially it seemed very vague,
and the reason was that we didn't always,
we're not always in a position to disclose all the information. And
I think it's only fair to the community if you're going to
donate, to know where your funds are going and what is how do we
intend using the funds in children? So when the opportunity
arose to purchase four Fiona crescent, we held an emergency
executive committee meeting and we presented what the opportunity
was, and we evaluated that against our master plan. It's a master
plan that had started years ago, and as we always say, we stand on

one windy way through great difficulty, through making soft
loans through getting donations from community members and from
acne sales and all the other fundraising events And subhanAllah
we are now sitting on the premises of one windy way. This was a
double story house behind us. We have the multi purpose Center,
which was five Fiona crescent. Through much discussion, the
previous executive purchased that with a vision, not knowing what's
going to come to fruition. But alhamdulillah, with five Fiona
crescent, with the consolidation of the urban with this being
declared community use, we now have a master plan that's starting
to unfold, and Allah
is
Most Gracious, Most Beneficent, Most Merciful. Through him, the
Nusra of Allah, Subhana Allah, we, as an executive, were able to
purchase or purchase the property and thereafter develop it so that
we have this integrated relationship with the masjid and
the multi purpose center.
Now, in order to continue with that, we have to build within that

Inshallah, unlock maybe 50 square meters. But 50 square meters is
not enough to sustain our ever growing community. So what do we
do? The only way is we do not want any
abortive cost. We do not want to demolish what we've built. And at
times, sometimes you have to demolish some internal walls and
so on. But the intention is that this is walk off money. We have to
be very responsible and act responsibly when we use the funds.
And we started looking at other property, obviously, the property
owned by the state, by provincial government, Western Cape and by
City of Cape Town, that is the parking areas. Those are not
accessible to us. They're not going out to tender. There's no
way that we are able to purchase those properties. So we have to
look at residential properties. But the same way we did with five
year in a crescent. Then take that residential property, start
looking at rezoning, possibly purchasing a second, consolidating
and working our way forward. But Alhamdulillah, we have checks and
balances in place. We've got individuals, myself included.
We've been working
on this for years and years. So we always use that, and we redirect
and we relook What was our initial near, and we come back to that.
And they are reminders amongst us when we forget, what is the master
plan, what is the vision? And we work towards that vision. So
Inshallah, we need to purchase fourth Fiona crescent. There's a
new poster up that shows the calendar, and it shows how we

We need another 2 million. I think it's 1.95 now at the moment,
Alhamdulillah, we received another 50,000 grand donation. And,
we've not missed the target. To date during covid, our approvals
for the multi purpose center came in August 2020, SubhanAllah. We
were in lockdown level three or something to that effect, and yet,
thinking that everything stalls somehow, this.
This is such a Mubarak place, there's so much blessing.
Subhanallah, how that place became available with so many other
people wanting to purchase it? Subhanallah, we are so fortunate,
and we have to acknowledge that. And in the same way, I think we're
knowing that there's so many delays at the deeds office and all
of that Mawlana made a do. I that May there not be a delay in this
purchase, but I think more than us, to us are sometimes a bit too
much the job, because within a month, it's unheard of that you
can get a transfer coming through so quickly, so it is actually not
given us enough time to actually raise all the funds that we needed
to within a very short space of time. But this is a community and
an exco as well as a community that we put shoulder to the wheel.
We doing an acne drive through on Sunday, and please support that
we'll be having cake sales. We'll be having a breakfast in shoulder
and then there's also the auctions that we run, but at the moment, we
are running out of time. There's only a cake sale that the drive
thru that's happening on Sunday, and then it's Tuesday, and we need
the 1.95 additional funds. We do not want to miss the deadline,
because we promised the seller that we will hit the target and we
will be able to pay them the funds. And we are also acting
responsibly in that we are draining outcomes to the point
where we are leaving sufficient funds for operational expenditures
so that we can continue operating, paying salaries, paying our
utility bills, etc. So we are acting responsibility, but we
still find ourselves in this position of needing 1.95
so I appeal to you, and I urge you to please consider dig deep. Allah
is Most Generous. You will not be lesser for having given. It will
multiply within your pockets. Well, why? Mawlana will tell you,

just want to emphasize that
by
assisting us with your donations, it's a sadaqah to jariya. We
