Waseem Hendricks – #3 Preparation For Ramadaan

Muhammad, sallAllahu, alayhi wa Allah Ali. He was Abu asmaareen. I

greet

everyone with the most beautiful greeting, the greeting of Islam,

as well as the greeting of Jannah, assalamu, Alaikum, wa

rahmatullahi, taala, Barakatuh. And once again, welcome back to

our series in preparation for the month of Ramadan. And this will be

our third episode inshallah. And today, as we know that we are on

the best of days, the days when the messenger, sallAllahu alay wa

sallam has related to us that there is no better day when the

sun rise, except that this is the day of Juma. And Inshallah, we

should still try to perform all the necessary Sunan that which the

messengers of Allah, Ali wasallam used to do on a Friday before him

going to Jumaa. It does not mean that we are not physically able to

go to the masajid in order to perform our Jumaa that we we

should neglect these type of Sunan inshallah to Allah, and some of

them are still take a beautiful bath before we are going to

perform our dur Salah at home, still make the DUA and cry to

Allah, Subhanahu wa forgiveness and Inshallah, hope to find that

hour which is in the day of juarah will definitely answer our

prayers. And thirdly, inshaAllah, we will still read surah Kahf

before the what of Jummah enters upon us. May Allah, Subhanahu wa

grant us the ability in sha Allah to perform all these beautiful

Sunan that the messenger, sallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam has

guided us through his beautiful, beautiful example. Amin ya rabal

alameen. So yesterday, we were reminded about fasting inshallah

and preparation towards the month of Ramadan. Today, Inshallah, we

will be focused upon. We will be focusing upon the Quran and the

recital of the Quran and and that the Alok, the relationship that we

should have with this Quran, and indeed, some of the most beautiful

advices that Allah subhanahu wa gives us is where Allah subhanahu

wa says In the Quran, by their own regime, shahruna, ladi,

Quran, and

wabana, Huda well for con sadaqah, Lamar alim, so beautifully, Allah

Subhan wa Taala reminds us that this Holy Quran, the Qalam and the

speech of Allah subhanahu wa, the Constitution of the believers. It

has been revealed in this holy month of Ramadan. So there must be

a connection SubhanAllah. And what is that connection Allah?

Subhanahu, WA Allah says that it is hudalinas. It is a guidance to

mankind, a clear guidance, a criterion to as SubhanAllah. And

we should take heed of the fact that Allah subhanahu wa is trying

to teach us a lesson from this ayah. And what is that? If we just

look into the life of the messenger Salam, can we but

imagine that first time that wahi was revealed to him, he saw the

angel Jibreel alaihi salatu wasalam entering upon him, telling

him Iqra, Bismillahi, khalaq, khalaq al Insan, I mean alach, IQ

war of Bucha, ramullahi, Alam Abu qalam, Alam al Insan, Allah. Can

we imagine that moment? And this can be a moment for us as well,

when we now connect or reconnect with the book of Allah subhanahu

wa, as this was a turning point in the life of the messenger sub

Allah wa ala wa salam, the one that we claim to love. This is the

time when he saw Allah wa ala wa salam, had to go out. And now he

need, needed to preach to everybody about the laws of Allah

subhanahu wa. But firstly, what was more important than that, he

had to inculcate that in his own life. So here we have an

opportunity. The Quran is with us. It has been mashallah compiled in

such a way that it is so easy for us to read it from cover to cover.

We Inshallah, the Allah can take Ibrahim listen from this. We May

we take one ayah a day and we read it, and we try to implement that

into our lives. And a little story that I want to narrate about one

of the greatest Sahaba that walked on the surface of the earth. It is

Omar RadiAllahu Taala Abu all of us might think that all of the

Asham of Rasulullah Ali wasallam, that they were Hafid Quran, but

let me tell you a story about Omar RadiAllahu Taala Anhu. His life

was such that whenever an ayah was revealed and it was told by the

messengers Allah, Ali was telling them to the Sahaba RadiAllahu

Taala Anhu. Omar RadiAllahu Taala anhu, he was one of those amongst

the Ashab that first used to Subhanallah read the ayah. Then

he.

Memorize the ayah, then, before anything else, before commencing

with the next ayah, he will first apply that within his own life.

And that is, this is this is so important for us that whatever the

Quran should not just be a ritual whereby we read it from cover to

cover, but we should try to understand this Quran. We should

try to connect to this Quran because it is rabbula, is rabbula,

is that I, who is Subhan Allah, connecting to us, trying to teach

us something, trying to let us live a righteous life, trying to

live such a life that he, subhana wa taala, will be pleased with us,

and He will enter us into Paradise because of our connection with

with this Quran. Let us not take it lightly. The Quran has been

revealed in the month of Ramadan, which is ahead of us. This is a

preparation for us in the month of shayaban. Let's have a Taal look.

Let's have a connection with the Quran. Inshallah to Allah, and by

having a connection with us, Quran, now, it will make things

easy for us in the month of Ramadan. I mean, I mean, so this

is the day of Jumuah, a blessed day. It has taken inshallah to

Allah some time to spend it with the Quran. And what better ways to

follow the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu, sallam, if we are able

to, let's read the entire Surak. If we are not able to, let's read

a few ayat of it. Inshallah, there's a narration which state

that if you read the first 10 days, the first 10 verses of

Surah, Kahf, or the 10 last verses of Surak, and what will happen? We

will be saved on the day when that jail will enter upon us,

subhanAllah, the fitna of that jail. So let Allah subhanahu wa

striving in order to achieve that pleasure of Allah subhanahu wa.

And if we are going to do this, Allah subhanahu wa, grant us His

pleasure, and we, inshaAllah Allah, will be amongst those who
