smilla rahmanir rahim al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen wa Salatu was Salam Arusha MB or Muslim Nabina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi
wa salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato.
All braised due to Allah and His praise and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, his family, his companions and his followers until the day of judgment, mighty brothers and sisters, welcome back.
To discuss the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam about
a unique seven categories, a unique peoples, the prophets of Allah mentioned them. And this Hadith, which is narrated by Abu hurayrah, the Allah and that the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, seven our whom Allah would put them in his shade in the diff judgment, adjust ruler, a youth who grow up with the worship of Allah, a person whose heart is attached to the masjid two persons who love and meet and depart from each other, for the sake of Allah, a man whom an extremely beautiful woman seduce him, he rejects her offer by saying, I fear Allah, on a person who gives in charity, and conceal to the extent that his left hand will not know what his right hand is giving.
And a person who remembers Allah while he's alone, and his eyes well up.
Today, we'll talk about we'll continue actually talking about the youth who grow up with the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala.
First of all, let me remind you, that the youth as the Muslim scholars define the one who's between the age of 15 to 40. This what we call it, the youth era or period, this is the Shabaab the youth, he or she, if you are between 15 and 40, youth still youth, you see have to take advantage of this time. And in the B cell, Allah is celebrating carriages in the famous Hadith take advantage of five before five, your youth before he became old, it will tell him some of the humps, Shabaab a cobbler, Helmick,
so this time or this period of time, it has a special quality, this is where your strength is, we have so much capability, you have so much time, you have so much interest and power to do so many good things in this dunya.
So if you don't use it in the good cause, you might end up using it in the wrong direction or in the wrong cause.
That's why Allah subhana wa Taala will ask us in the day of judgment about our youth, especially about our youth, after he asked us about our age in general.
My dear brothers and sisters, if we study the history of Islam, we see that the great responsibility always carried by those youth, as we heard last time about the companions of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu sallam, and the Muslim scholars and the Muslim leaders as well.
Mohammed In fact, the one who carried that or led the Muslim army to stamp EU and Turkey today. He was 20 years old when he entered stem full custom T. He was 25 years old. When he reached Belgrade. He was 27 years old when he reached Athens in Greece, and Albania, Romania. He was in his 30 when he was able to reach the Bosnia and Kosovo
On this land, carrying the message of Islam, all the way to the heart of Europe, he was not even 30 years old yet.
Can you imagine this young man taking this great responsibility? And today I'm sorry to say, one of the problem I always have with the youth when I talk to the youth with all two young men and one young woman, I always tell them,
You have great responsibility, they will tell me, oh, we just kids, we just kids, you know, don't expect much. Sometimes even the older share this problem because they look at the youth as just kids children's child is a child, he cannot carry responsibility. No, my dear brothers and sisters, if you are 15 years old, or older, Allah subhanho wa Taala will ask you about your deeds, you're responsible your macula, that means you will be judged in the Day of Judgment. Don't tell me that I'm just young. Now so many girls, she said I'm still too young to put hijab on. How old are you? 18 1920 but you still think this is so young for that. He knows so many people, they think they
don't need to go for Hajj. And if I tell him you want you should go to Hajj. He said, I'm still young share why I would go for Hajj for I'm not still I'm not 50 as if this act of worship, youth are excluded from it. As the person who need to practice the Sunnah in his appearance has to be a person who's old. So many times some people said, You're too young for this beer. Why you put it young as a young person should not practice his religion, as if a young person he doesn't need to be religious, actually, that his people cannot imagine a young man, religious or a young woman religious and practicing her or his religion. And this is absolutely misunderstanding,
misconceptions. The most religious people during the prophets of Salaam were the youth. But we make sure that this people when they became religious, they practice their religion in the right way and the right way and will be directed to the religion in the right direction.
According to the teaching of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and amendment Buhari Rahim Allah. He was 18 years old when he authored his book aterial Kabir who is there is no other books similar to it until today. Al Bukhari Rahim Allah 14 years old when he started narrating that Hadith to people, and even Ahmed Rahim Allah used to give fatwa before even a single hair grow in his face. You know, remember Shafi Rahim Allah used to give back to her before he reached the age of puberty.
One of the students of Lima Malik Rahim Allah, his parents sent him to Medina, he used to live in Damascus. They sold their house and they sent him down to Medina.
He shot and he came to the mathematics class Ali Malik is a very respectful person that especially advocates for the class, this young boy he doesn't he's not aware of it. So he might made some noise. During the class, Solomon Malik order him to get out of the helicopter the class and he should be punished by
he will be head by
13 times.
Anyway, and he's not allowed to attend to the class today. For some reason him and Malik thought this is a way to make this person behave himself in the proper way. When Mr. Malik fit after he finished his class walking out from the message, he saw this young boy crying outside, he felt sorry for him and he started to talk to him to say, to make it up for him. He said, I'm, I'm sorry if this is the torture. He said, No, no, no, I'm not crying because somebody had my back or I've been be somebody hit me or lash me. No. This is not what hurts me. What hurts me a man that my parents had only one house. They sold their house. They give me the money. They send me down here to Medina to
learn the knowledge. Then what happened? You asked me to leave your circle, not to listen to the Hadith. And I feel so sorry for that.
One Eman Malik Rahim Allah
did
the start his hearts are shaking. And he said, How can you make it up for you? You know what, I will narrate for you 13 Hadeeth equal to the number of flashes that you got. Then he suddenly rating the house.
For him special class special tutoring. Then the boys are crying after Lima. Malik finished Lima, Malik said and now what? Why are you crying? He said, Yes, ma'am. I wish that you order them to latch me more than 13 so be able to hear more than that Heidi they just narrated to me.
I'm talking about a boy 13 years old, 14 years old, have been to Siri in the sister of Mohammed Debussy at nine years old when she finished the whole entire of on. And she used to make pm and late nine years old only.
When you talk also about the Muslim scholars among females, you will see them from the young, very young age. And I want to share with you this story of one of my neighbors back there in Houston, in Houston, Texas, not in Mecca, not in Medina, not in Riyadh, not in Cairo, not in Damascus, in Houston, Texas.
A good family.
A good father and mother. Allah blessed him with a girl. And Mashallah, she memorized the whole entire plan when she was around eight years old. Another example of a friend of mine, who was able to memorize the whole entire Koran with the 10 cries before nine years old, when he was less than nine years old. He memorized the whole entire model, which is a poetry written in the old days before Islam, and it's a very classic Arabic language. It's hundreds of lines. He memorized that before he started memorizing the Quran. When he was seven years old, his grandmother, she was the one who is looking after him and teaching him beside his mother.
And Mashallah, he memorized so many books of Hadith. And and poetry's in Sharia, before he reached the age of puberty, I'm not talking about somebody in the fourth century and the second century, and the third century. I'm not talking about somebody 1000 years ago, I'm talking about someone who is
in the 21st century, there is so many good example. That's why I'm telling so many of the young brother and sister who listening to me today, how can I be one of those people? First of all, I have an advice for the parents, that make sure that you provide the environment that you encourage your children, encourage your daughter and your son, to be good Muslims, to be a righteous one, raise them, raise them in a way that they know the difference between good and bad, and truth and the false hood, to know that they love the truth and they want to commit to it, and they know what is wrong, and they want to protect themselves from it. Make sure that you teach them from the young
age, the love philosophy with Allah that the love of Allah and His Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had been sad reported in a pocket that the Sahaba used to teach the children the love of Abu Bakar Omar, the same way they used to teach them. The verse from the Quran leads to teach them how to love the Sahaba the Allah and tell them about the life of the Sahaba above the lives of the scholars set example and model for them. It hurts when we see our youth, our young brothers and young sisters, the stars and star it means something up high that you look to it.
And you see guidance from it. Those stars should be the righteous one that we read about in the history of Islam. May Allah subhanaw taala make us all among those who are righteous and guided, or sallallahu wasallam Allah and abena Mohammed
amazing stories
of the end, as well as the stories that were told to us by our beloved Prophet Mohammed Ali salatu salam are not fairy tales. They are not stories that were made up to convince us of something. They are true stories that actually happened. They said in the message that Prophet alayhi salatu salam is talking, they said Subhana Allah Baqarah tin can and they said Subhan Allah, a cow that speaks our last panel with Allah has created this universe, my dear brothers and sisters in such a beautiful way that everything is balanced, that every creature has a specific function that they do not go outside of that frame.
To handle the how the Prophet alayhi salatu salam is telling us about the story that happened before us. And this reminds us of the fact that Islam is a universal religion.
In this program, we will know about peoples from different times and places whose stories were mentioned in the Islamic tradition. All of this with chiclet V will relate to their stories and extract the lessons and wisdom behind them.
Welcome back.
We still talking about the youth who grew up with worship philosophy. Now what's your honor?
I know that so many of you might say, Chef, it's very hard to be committed to religion, in the such environment, especially if you live in a society where a majority of people are not Muslims, or living in a society where a majority of people are not practicing that religion. I know it's hard. That's why the reward is so great for such people, he or she, who will abstain from what is evil, and practice what is right and good. But don't ever think that growing up worshiping Allah subhanho wa Taala means that you grew up without any sin, without committing any sense or doing any mistakes. No. And Islam doesn't want you to be infallible, not expecting you to be infallible, because that's
impossible. Human beings are human beings, we all do mistakes. But the point is, that the majority of your time,
the majority of your time, you are in a status off or in the majority for time, worshipping Allah Subhana, Allah subhanho wa Taala consider as a religious person who is committed to his religion, who are not committed to any other ideologies, or our any other ideas. A person who do not follow blindly his desires, and ignoring the rules of the Sharia, and what Allah subhana wa Taala loves and what he hates, growing up worshipping Allah subhanho wa Taala doesn't mean that you have to be perfect, but it means that you have to be committed to religion, that you have to be committed to the religion that Allah Subhana Allah have sent down to you. One thing will help the person a lot to
grow up why he worshipping Allah Subhana Allah, which is friends, the friends that you have around you, there must be a good us around with a good company, because people will be affected with the people around him, and the people who are close to him. So if you go and hang out with people who are not good, they will have impact on you, no doubt, no doubt. But if you go out with people who are good or righteous, who encourage you to do what is good, they will help you to be better Muslim. If you're around people who will help you to pray on time, you will pray on time. But if you hang out with people who only listening and partying all the time, you will end up partying with them.
That's the reality. Also, if you are outside with girls, who will not see any problem with talking to men who are not related to them, or chatting with guys, and building a relationship here, one day with this man and another day with another man one day with a girl and another girl another day with another girl, if you hang out with kind of people like that, you will be like this. But if you go out and commit yourself with people who will tell you to do or will help you to do what is right, and help you to stop yourself from doing what is wrong. In this case, you will be able to grow up while you're worshiping.
And this is a special advice. For those who live in a non Muslim society. Make sure that you don't through your children, your daughter, your son in the public school, whereas the environment is very hard for them to be committed to the religion. You didn't know how much hard for so many young men and women out there to walk to the high school to the middle school while they're Muslim with her scarf, or with or being Muslim fasting Ramadan or want to pray on time, or saying I don't party. I don't date I don't drink. This is something very hard for the youth to face. In such society and such communities. They need your help.
They need you first, to help them to move to an Islamic schools where they can have a good education, plus a good environment to protect them during the time where they spend most of their day in the school. So many, so many sisters and brothers, what happened, they had what I call it like a split personality, they walked to the public school with one personality, or the one one face. And the moment they leave the school, they have another face another personality. And I mean by that, when they go to the school, they have to act like the cool guy, or the cool girl that he jabs down, and the attitude change. And he became acting like a person who's not religious in order
for him to fit in the society. But when he leave the house, the school, go back to home, the hijab goes back, and attitude quickly change. And he looked like a religious person in front of his father, or hair, or her or his mother,
that caused so much damage to so many youth I know. But putting them in Islamic schools, it can be a good solution, to help your daughter to help your son to grow up as a righteous son and a righteous daughter. Also, one thing I believe has so much impact in our youth in these days, which is internet, internet can cause so much problem, and so much distraction, and can also
shift your way and your
way of practicing or being religious shift you to be a person who is not religious at all.
Internet is the access, high speed DSL,
you have access to any place, especially if you are living in an urban society. And so many youth they don't know their limit, they start exploring the word of internet, chatting with opposite *, chatting with people who delivering and giving them a new and weird ideas maybe for them, raising doubts in their minds and their hearts and bringing so much desires close to them. He doesn't need to travel, he doesn't need to walk to the nightclub, for example, to see what is wrong. He just needs to go to the website, just to type a website address. And he's just there, seeing what will destroy his or her religion. It is so sad that the Minister sistex we pass it on in one of the
convention, people who come into a religious convention. And we were surprised that there is a big number of people, a big number of people are watching * and internet. And they don't feel and they do that. And so many of them feel it's wrong. But because it has an easy access. He does he cannot stop and he became addicted to that. So many relationship started from internet and caused so much damage to so many people's and break even families. And all start from this internet. Make sure if you have a children, that you educate them about the dangers of internet, make sure that you watch your children also carefully. And you know that a certain sign if you see it in yourself or
your children, it means that the such person is addicted to internet now than his clinic to deal with that the people addicted to internet. If you see that the first thing you do when you go home, you open the internet, you open your emails, that you always want to check your emails alone, nobody can see what you reading or what you're writing. Nobody allowed to enter the room while you are in the neck. If this is the case, there is something wrong going on with you before somebody else discover it. Stop. My brothers and sisters, young men and women out there. I want you to realize that there's a future in front of you that this ummah need your help. I need your commitment. I need
you to change this reality that we are suffering from and living in.
We hope that the young men and woman in our society, the future leader of our society, will change this situation will bring more prosperity to our countries and our societies and our communities. Feel that yours
sponsible realize that
this ummah depend on you, waiting for you, waiting for you to take your role. As always, you been in the history of Islam, the youth, the Muslim youth, always had a great role in the Muslim society. Also, I would like to tell the elder in our community in our society, we have to take care of the youth, we have to help them we have to devote to develop them, we have to trust them, we have to help them to be leader, we should not feel sad, when they take our position, we should not feel
sad, or we feel jealous if we see that the next generation is better than us. I know one of the massage kids in America and California, after the man who built a mess did he put a condition that
50% of the membership of the Board of Trustees must be youth must be youth, because they are the future, he investing in the right direction. My brothers and sisters
I know. And I say that, because I have seen that in the eyes of all these young men and woman, when they tell me with their eyes before there's tons, that it's hard to be committed. It's hard to stay straight. But I'll tell you and then that always be connected to Allah subhana wa Tada. Always raise your hand and the Knights in the day, asking Allah Subhana Allah to help you to be a righteous one. ask Allah subhana wa Taala to protect you from the evil of your soul, and the evil of the Shabbat and to protect you from their own
deeds. ask Allah subhanho wa Taala in the night and in the day, while you're fasting, while you're praying that Allah subhana wa Taala will make you among the righteous one, the one who will bring change this the one who can bring or can make different in this ummah,
my brothers or sisters, being religious, it means that you commit to the obligations of Islam, and the first and the most important obligation in Islam to worship Allah Subhana Allah to Allah alone.
What about the law? What actually could be Sharia, worship Allah alone and don't take partner with him. The second thing that you be committed to the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, whatever the Prophet Mohammed Salim said, or order you to do, follow his sin, know about his life, learn about his teaching, and practicing the this step by step. Also, being religious, it means that you fulfill the Pillars of Islam, the five times prayers, make sure that when you miss your prayer, make sure that you pass them on for from Avan. Make sure that you give this a cat if you if you have the wealth, the certain amount of money that you need to give Zakat on it which is
called when you saw when you reach that level of money. Also, make your head as soon as possible. commit yourself to the fundamental of Islam. The highest obligations such as Byron, validate being good to your parents, being good to your wife, being good to your husband. If you have children, be good to them. Be good to your neighbors, give dour, deliver the message of Islam. treat people with respect and prevent yourself from the major sense in Islam by drinking alcohol, abusing somebody taking somebody's wealth, killing someone or the villa. And also make sure that you don't follow don't follow the call of some people who might call you to leave the moderate way of Sunnah. To be
an extreme or to be an to invent in the religion, which is not from it. This is not the meaning of being religious, being religious, it means to be following the moderate way of Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam May Allah Subhana Allah make all of us among those. And I ask Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, in the end of this class, and the end of our lecture today, that he will help all the brothers and sisters who want to be religious to help them to be so subtle Allahumma salli ala nabina Muhammad
Classic Arabic language, it's hundreds of lines. He memorized that before he started memorizing the Quran. When he was seven years old, his grandmother, she was the one who is looking after him and teaching him beside his mother.
