Assalamu alaikum Warahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa
Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa
Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa
Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa
Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi Wa
Rahmatullahi Wa Rahmatullahi
salaam alarassullahi salaam. Welcome back to the 3rd
lesson of our course, Adha waddu'a which is
based on the beautiful book of Imam al
May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala have mercy upon
his soul, the disease and the cure. In
a research that I have read just recently
titled Comparison of the effect of instrumental music
and holy Quran recitation on the anxiety of
patients with acute coronary syndrome. This is a
semi experimental study that was conducted and SubhanAllah
if you read through and I will leave
a link to the entire research for you
to read on your own Insha'Allah Ta'ala. But
if you come to the conclusion you will
see that the holy Quran, the Quran, the
word of Allah
had more impact, more positive impact on the
reduction of the level of anxiety on those
patients more than music. The music has some
impact but the Quran has more positive impact.
Allahu Akbar. Little wonder today's lesson's title is
the entire Quran is a remedy. The entire
Quran is a cure my brothers and sisters
in Islam. So those who are suffering from
whether physical illnesses or spiritual illnesses,
emotional, psychological, whatever the case may be. The
Quran, the Quran,
the Quran in its entirety is a remedy
for you. Little wonder why the prophet Muhammad
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam had taught us. 1 of
the most beautiful dua that I really wished
that every Muslim because that was the command
of the prophet Muhammad SAW. Every Muslim, male,
female, old or young, any believer who heard
it must learn it. Meaning must memorize it.
What was the dua?
My brothers, my sisters in Islam don't ever
fail the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam in
his command because after he taught it to
his companions. As I said earlier, he said
everyone who heard it must learn it, must
memorize it. What does that dua mean? The
Prophet Muhammad SAWHAN started this dua by calling
upon Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and praising him
and acknowledging Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and his
power and acknowledging also our connection our relation
with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. What did he
say?
O Allah, I bear witness that I am
your slave and the son of your male
slave. Meaning my father is a slave and
the son of your female slave. My father
is a slave. My mother is a slave
as well.
My forelock is in your hand. Meaning my
destiny, everything I do, my qadr is in
your hand.
Your judgment upon me is gonna pass and
that judgement is gonna be fair and just.
I deserve it. And then the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam went on to say I
ask you by every name you have named
yourself with or revealed it in your book
in the Quran or taught it to any
of your slaves or you have kept it
hidden in the world of the unseen with
you.
Was making this very long introduction to ask
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for 1 thing and
to make the Quran the spring of my
life and the light of my chest, the
guidance that will take me to the right
path. But the last 2 parts that I
want to highlight insha Allahu Ta'ala because this
is the subject of today's lesson is
and the repeller of my sadness, my anxiety,
my depression
and the cure for my sadness. Allahu Akbar,
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Once again, Allah truly
is greater than anything that we can imagine
my brothers and sisters in Islam, the entire
Quran
is a remedy so use it. It doesn't
cost you money but it is the most
precious thing that we have been given. Alhamdulillah.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned in the Quran.
That if we were to reveal the Quran
in a foreign
language other than the Arabic, they would have
said, they would have argued that had it
been in our language, in our tongue, it
would be better, it would be clearer for
us to understand. They would say that the
Quran is in foreign language and Muhammad sallallahu
alaihi wasallam and us are Arabs, tell them
O Muhammad if they argued like this, tell
them O Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Tell them that the Quran for those who
believe, for those who acknowledge the existence of
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala as the Lord, as
the only deity to be worshipped and those
who believe the Muhammad Sallallahu Wa Salam as
the final messenger. It's going to be a
guidance, a source of guidance and a Shifa,
a cure. The entire Quran my brothers and
sisters in Islam is a remedy. Seize the
opportunity. It is there within your hands. Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala in another place said,
That we reveal from the Quran, part of
the Quran, some of the verses of the
Quran. What could be a shifa, a cure,
a remedy and a mercy from Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala for whom? For the believers, again
for those who believe in Allah and his
messenger on the last day and the angels
and the books and the messengers but for
those who rejected it, for those who rejected
Allah and His Messenger, for those who disbelieved,
it would never increase them in any way
other than a loss after another loss. My
brothers and sisters this time, in this ayah
there is a beautiful word that was added
and that is Mina.
That we revealed
from the Quran. So what does the word
from or means? It means according to some
of the interpretation that even some of the
verses or some of the ayaat as we
will discuss in the next episode about Surah
Al Fatiha. For example, on its own is
a cure. Part of the Quran
on its own this ayah specifically if it
is read in a specific way as we'll
explain in the lessons to come inshAllah, are
on their own cure. But that doesn't mean
that part of the Quran is a cure
and the rest is not. The entire Quran
is a remedy. It's a remedy for the
hearts against
doubts, ignorance, jealousy, envy, hatred, anxiety,
worries,
depressive symptoms, sadness, all these intense emotions that
we sometimes go through, the Quran is a
remedy. And I'm not suggesting here that when
you experience those emotions you should repel them
completely and try to alter them because they
were meant to be experienced, they were meant
to be felt. But in case those emotions
due to their intensity would lead you to
something haram, then you have to regulate them,
then you have to manage them. And what
is the best remedy for that? The Quran,
the Quran, the Quran.
This Quran guides to that which is most
appropriate always. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala make
the Quran the spring of our lives and
the repeller of our sadness, grief, depression, anxiety.
My brothers, my sisters in Islam, in today's
lessons there are 2 homework inshallah. Number 1,
the dua Allahumayin Abu Luq. Oh Allah, I
am your servant. I am your slave. The
dua that we recited in the beginning of
this lesson, go ahead and memorize it. Inshallah.
We'll leave a link to it in the
description below this video. And second, the Quran,
the Quran, the Quran. Use it now with
the intention of remedy from any illness that
you may be going through. May Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala cure our sick Ameen Ameen. Don't
forget to share the video and see you
next lesson. Assalamu Alaikum.
