Three ayats in the Quran.
My brothers, my sisters in Islam, every believer,
every Muslim, everyone who testified that there is
no God worthy of worship except Allah and
that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah.
We must remember, we must reflect on them,
we must realize that they are real, they're
not abstract, they're going to be witnessed sooner
or later whether you like them or not.
Where Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala stated,
Don't these people and those
people is a reference to heedless people.
Even though in that particular surah, the ayat
is a reference to people who cheat in
weights, those who weigh things and cheat in
measures.
But the ayat also are general because all
of us will be resurrected and we'll be
standing before Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And this is exactly the question that is
being posed by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
in these ayat.
Don't these people think that they are going
to be resurrected and stand before Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala on such a great day?
Don't they think that this is the reality?
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ On that day,
people will be standing before their creator, Allah,
the master of everything that was created.
And so when you look at a brother
who is smoking and smoking publicly, and when
you tell him a brother smoking is wrong,
you know, it's damaging to your body, it's
haram and so on so forth.
And then they started arguing with you.
Does this brother believe and think that he
will be standing one day before Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala and believe wholeheartedly?
Or is it just a verse in the
Quran that he passes by without even realizing
it's a reality?
The sister who leave her home without hijab
and when she's reminded to fear Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala to put on the proper
hijab, does she know, does she think for
sure, for real, that she's going to be
standing before Allah on that day and he
will be questioning her about her actions?
Those who've been neglecting Salah, the most important
pillar of Ibadah in Islam, subhanAllah al-Azeem.
Do they think that they are going to
be standing one day before Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala and have they prepared a reply
to why they have neglected this important obligation?
Do people think, and I'm not excluding myself,
may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala forgive us
all, but do we believe that after we
pass from this dunya, we'll be standing one
day before Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
What have we prepared to reply to these
questions?
And please, please my brothers, my sisters in
Islam, don't even bother to comment on this
video.
Don't respond or defend yourself as regards to
why you don't pray, why you don't put
on hijab, why you're still smoking, why you're
still doing this and that.
Don't even bother about the person who's reminding
you.
Perhaps you may pray for them, but you
should be worried about the one whose job
is to ask you.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, la yus'alu
amma yaf'al wa hum yus'alun.
He will not be questioned about anything but
wa hum yus'alun, but we, they will
be questioned, us will be questioned.
We will be questioned by him, why we
didn't do what he commanded us to do.
So don't give me all these excuses in
the world.
You know, I don't pray because of this,
I don't wear hijab because of this, pray
for me.
Yeah, I will pray for you, but there
is no excuse for you not to execute
any of these activities.
There is no excuse.
So don't come and say, brother, you're judging
this, you're judging that.
Wallahi, don't even delete the video.
Don't worry, even dislike my page, whatever you
wanted to do, no problem whatsoever.
But you should bother about the one who
will question you.
La tazulu qadama abdim yawm al qiyama hatta
yus'alu an arba.
The foot of the son of Adam will
never be moved an inch on the day
of judgment until he's questioned about four things.
And this is not the subject of discussing
the four things, but me and you among
those people whose feet will not be moved
without being questioned.
That's the reality that you need to remind
yourself of.
So don't be fooled by shaitan, my brothers
and sisters.
Don't keep on telling yourself, inshallah, tomorrow I'll
do it, tomorrow I'll practice.
Pray for me this, pray for me that.
Be an action-oriented person.
When it comes to Islam and practicing your
deen, be an action-oriented.
Do it anyway.
This is how it was commanded.
Don't keep telling yourself, tomorrow I'll do it,
inshallah, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.
And tomorrow comes and a year comes and
two and three and four years pass by
and you're still in the same place.
You're not moving.
You're just giving yourself hope that it's going
to happen one day.
And before you know it, you're lying in
your grave, failing to answer these questions.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala told us in
the Quran, And spend, spend before death approach
you.
So you see shaitan is delaying your decision
to repent and to do something good and
beneficial, which you know it, until you die.
And once you die, he laughs at you.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala protect us
all and may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
enable us to understand our deen and understand
the commands that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
instructed us to perform and follow them to
the best of our ability.
Ameen.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala guide us
all.
Ameen.
Ameen.
Ameen.
