The Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and is denoted by the Muslim’s pilgrimage to Mecca. All Muslims who are physically and financially able to make the pilgrimage should do so at least once in their lives. Muslims view this as a time for cleansing themselves of past sins and beginning life afresh. The pilgrimage takes place in Dhul-Hijjah, from the 8th to the 12th or 13th of the month.
The Hajj consists of a five-day ritual to Mecca and to Arafat, Mina, and Muzdalifah. Pilgrims perform a series of rituals to behave as one and absolve themselves of their sins and bear witness to the oneness of Allah SWT.
This series is focused on giving you the best of the rites of the Hajj and its method.
