One of the virtues of Ramadan is that it is the month of the Quran. Right since the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Ramadan was used for reciting the entire Quran, even more so than the time outside of Ramadan. And the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu salatu salam told us that to recite even a single letter of the Koran is worth 10 Good deeds.
And that's not word for word that's letter by letter, at least half lamb half men would have, right so every single letter is going to be just like doing 10 Good deeds. Now, before we get into
other ways of interacting with the Koran, just take a second and register how low that barrier is, how easy and merciful it is that even if you're, you know, you can't recite Quran at all. You can probably recite a few letters, you can probably recite Surah Fatiha, you can probably recite, you know the last couple of small chapters of the Quran. So if you're even doing that, right, don't get discouraged. Don't think that it's like well, I'm not a Hatfield or I'm not optim basit, or any of these big reciters and I can't complete the Koran every three days or every 10 days or every so often, it doesn't matter. You're not being rewarded necessarily in the Hadith for completing the
Koran every single letter. So whatever you're doing outside of Ramadan, kick it up a notch and do even more in Ramadan. Try to get into that place where you're daily reciting the Quran, even if it's just a little bit even if it's just from what you know. But it's not also just about reciting the Quran. It's also about learning
the Koran, being coming familiar with the Koran, a different parts of the Koran pondering upon the core and trying to apply the Quran in your life. That's really the goal of interacting with the Koran and that's something that we should take Ramadan as a special opportunity to do
