There is one thing, one notion,
one value that is central,
in anything that has to be to do
with, Islam, which is the notion of justice.
In Allah
commands justice. And Al Adl is one of
the names of God. It's also what we
have to implement in our life, meaning
that what we have to resist is injustice
society. Justice
is to be,
resisted and needs to be reformed.
The very beginning of the story, even when
we have Adam or Hawa,
in the beginning of the human history, what
did they say when it came to themselves?
They say,
both of them said,
Oh god, we have been in just with
our own self. And if you don't,
protect us or show mercy to us, we
are going to be lost.
We are going to be,
destroyed in this world, and it start with
be just with your own self.
Meaning, you have to give
every part,
every dimension of your being and within the
world, it's right. Your mind
with education, your heart with love and affection,
your body with
health,
hygiene,
and also
sport that is giving you the way of
being just with your own body.
And then comes the reality with human beings
around you. And,
this is where you have to be
a witness. You have to show and to
bear witness to your message before the people.
When it is said,
So all you who believe,
just
stand up for
justice as witness,
to god.
Even if it's against your own self, your
parents, or your relatives.
If the people are rich or poor,
so god
has precedence,
comes first,
beyond anything which has to do with the
society,
yourself,
your family, your parents. The people could be
poor or could be rich.
What you have to do,
You have to be just.
Said
in another verse that this is closer
to, yeah, the the the the reverential
love that you have to show towards god.
So these are things that are so important.
And not only you have to deal with
your own self, you have to deal with
your parents. You have to deal with your
family. You have to deal with your society.
You also have to show justice and resist
injustice towards
nature and the environment and the creation because
people are destroying it. We are showing no
mercy and no justice
to,
the environment and to the the creation. Add
to this, the way we are treating animals,
It's, injust, and we are not,
having a dignified way of dealing with nature
and dealing with
animals. So resistance
to injustice,
it's part of our deep understanding of what
having
our faith and experiencing faith,
means.
It has to be visible in the way
we deal with our own self and in
the way we deal with nature and human
being.
So resisting injustice,
it's
encompassing
and gathering all the other
values and principles we talked about before. And
this is where, as Muslims, we have to
be involved within our society.
It's not possible to say, I believe in
god and to not to resist injustice and
not to promote justice. This is the way
forward. This is our path. It's a path
of justice towards peace because there is no
peace if there is no justice. And to
get justice, you have to resist injustice.
Remember,
never forget to tell the people you love
that you love them. Life is rejoined.
