Tamara Gray – Struggling to love Allah and the Prophet (s)

			When somebody asked me a really
good question recently, she said,
		

			Yeah, I say I don't I don't know
how to love the process, and I
		

			don't know how to love Allah. How
do I do that?
		

			And I what my advice to her was,
when you love people, notice how
		

			you do it. Like
		

			if you really love someone, notice
what does that mean for you new
		

			mothers? It's so interesting, a
new mother always learns that she
		

			needs less sleep for her love for
her child gets her up at night.
		

			Her love for her child means that
she'll wake up anytime. My
		

			daughter the other day, she didn't
sleep all night. Every 15 minutes,
		

			her son was crying. She has a new
baby,
		

			but she was awake. She was awake.
And so we remember the days new
		

			mothers will remember the days
before that new baby and say, why
		

			couldn't I wake up for Tash? And
that's a good place to ask
		

			yourself, Where is the love for
Allah?
		

			Where is that love? Because we
love that baby. We get up. We're
		

			never going to let that baby sit
and
		

			cry. So look where your love shows
and what you're willing to do for
		

			that love.
		

			And if you're not sure about that,
then that's that's where you
		

			start. Just start looking at your
love, figure it out, and then
		

			learn how to transfer that to your
love of Allah and the Prophet saw
		

			them.
