Years ago, maybe eight years ago. Now, I was getting donuts for the
family for aid, and I went to this donut shop, and I was doing the
Salawat Brahimi, and I went in the donut shop, and after I ordered so
many donuts, they said cash only, and I was like, Oh my God, I
didn't have cash. There was an ATM machine down the road, so I pulled
out, I had, I had pulled out my my debit card to pay when they told
me no cash only. And so as I was gathering myself to go and get
this from the ATM, a woman walked in,
and she said, I'll get your donuts. And I said, No, no, you
don't know how many donuts I got. I didn't just get one donut. I got
a whole bunch of donuts. She said, Oh, I'll get them. And she
literally got all of my donuts, and then didn't have enough money
to buy herself her own donut.
And so someone had come with her, who bought her a donut and
swallowed up as I when I went to the car and sat down to complete
my
salah. Salawat Ibrahimi, it occurred to me the the beauty of
what we're saying when we say in every prayer of what we are
saying. Allah musaldi, Allah Sayyidina, Ibrahim, WA Allah Ali
Ibrahim, who is the family of Ibrahim, may Allah svantana Send
him greetings and peace. It is humanity. It is humanity. It is
the people we see every day. As I felt like, wow, Muslims every day,
five day times a day. Whenever we pray, we're literally making dua
for all of the people around us. And on the day of Hajj, we are
reminded of our connection to Ibrahim, alaihi salam, and our
connection to all of the peoples that have come from that line of
the Abrahamic line.
