My mother who went to Saudi Aramco, silicon Kareem, am I borrowed for the Billahi min ash shaytani r rajim Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim. bisch rocklea assadi were Sidley MD, Dr. Emily Sani of koko de Fatima. The conquest of Makkah, what year was this? eighth here, after hyjal. remember the time when the Prophet sallallahu Sallam had to leave Mecca? Just eight years before this incident? No one some difficulty comes upon us, we think that it's going to last forever.

00:00:36--> 00:01:24

Things are never going to change. But it's amazing how just after eight years, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam returns to Makkah as a conquer. Eight years, not 18, not 28. And that is something amazing that how a las pantalla can change your situation within just a couple of years. But this change, this change was not easy. Because these areas, as we saw, were extremely difficult for the Prophet salallahu Salam. Every year, every few months, there was a battle. There were many losses, a lot of hardship that the Muslims had to go through. But with hardship is ease and eventually a Lost Planet Allah does prevail over his matter. Whatever he wants to bring about, it can never be

00:01:25--> 00:01:25

avoided.

00:01:26--> 00:02:06

So we learned about Fatima that what the circumstances were why the Prophet sallallahu Sallam went to Makkah in order to deal with the people of Makkah, because they have clearly violated the treaty. And also vianne had come to Medina in order to seek the protection of the Muslims in hopes that there would be no war. However, he was not given any protection by anybody. And then the Prophet sallallahu Sallam made his way to Makkah. Now if you think about it, was it justified for the prophets of Allah Islam to go to Makkah? How was it justified? Because the Allies had been killed, the allies of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam they had been attacked, they had been killed. And if the

00:02:06--> 00:02:09

allies have been killed if they have been attacked that Who's next?

00:02:11--> 00:02:58

us, right? So if you look at the life of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, all the victories that he got, every time that he was successful, we see that success victory came about from a problem from a loss. There was a problem, there was something that the Muslim suffered, that made them go and face a challenge, and Allah granted them victory. So if you think about it in our lives, every problem or every test that comes our way, what is it essentially, it's an opportunity to improve, it's an opportunity to go further. It's a chance it's a step that takes you to your success. But sometimes what happens when we do face difficulties, we think that this is the end of it. It's not the end of

00:02:58--> 00:03:34

it, it's actually the beginning of something greater inshallah. So what happened when the Prophet sallallahu Sallam reached Makkah close to Makkah, he camped outside of Mecca, Admiral Han, and who came over there, Abu sufian, he came with our best for the long run, who are best of the lower and who is the one who brought Abu Sufyan and he spent the night at the camp of the Muslims. And the next morning he went to see the Prophet sallallahu Sallam and Abu sufian he embraced Islam, and the Prophet sallallahu Sallam honored him, that when you go to Makkah, you can tell your people that whoever wants to be safe, he can either go to your house, or his own house or into the harem. And it

00:03:34--> 00:04:12

was a fan felt really proud about this, that result of loss or loss. Adam has given me so much importance that anybody comes into my house, he is safe, and we will see how he conveyed this message to the people. But when he was leaving our next morning, what happened? our bathroom Hello, I knew he was to take up Sophia and back to Makkah. But the Prophet sallallahu Sallam instructed him that when you do take him take him through a particular passage. Why? So that he would see all of the Muslims the 10,000 Muslim forces in broad daylight as well now, he had seen them in the night, right? How they're fires. Now the Prophet sallallahu Sallam wanted him to see the Muslims in broad

00:04:12--> 00:04:47

daylight as well. So early morning, now what happened, as they're making their way was the fancies groups of Muslims, one after the other. All right, each group holding a banner, and all the people you know, in their armor, and they're marching back and forth as if they're practicing. So I was with him was asking our best of the lower I know that Who are these people? Because he didn't recognize everybody. It was 10,000 people after all, right? So he kept asking our best, okay, who's this group of people and are bastards alone? And who would say, Oh, this has been who Salama, oh, who is this group, or this is that that tribe? Or this is that tribe? And I was a fan was amazed at

00:04:47--> 00:04:59

how many different tribes different people had come in the conquest of Makkah. So what really astonished him was the fact that so many people had come under the banner of Islam

00:05:00--> 00:05:40

This was something that was unheard of before. Because maximum how many allies would you have? back then? 345. Okay, six. But now there were so many people, so many clans and bundles and tribes that had come, because they were all Muslim. And then eventually what happened? One convoy, one group of soldiers that went fast when it was a fan saw them, he could hardly see them because of the brightness that was coming from their armor because of the sunlight, right that was shining, that that was reflecting off of their armor, so he couldn't see the faces but it just looked like a very impressive group of people. So he asked, Who are these people? And our best of the lower and who

00:05:40--> 00:05:53

said, these are the mahadji rune and the answer, and amongst them was the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. So at this point, Abu sufian said or burst the kingdom of your nephew has become great.

00:05:54--> 00:06:34

This is the kingdom of your nephew, your nephew as in Hamilton, a lot of setup. So our best said water you it is not kingdom. It is Prophethood and it was a fan said You are right. Then what happened in Bukhari, we learned that a batch came a group of people came and it was a very impressive batch and who were they were the unsung star basketball, it was a fan. These are the inside the people of Medina and they were being led by Sargon or Buddha or the Longhorn. Now sofinnova he wasn't. He was one of the elders of his people. And he was holding the flag. And when he saw I was a fan, even though Sofia had converted, but still all along, I was a fan was who he was

00:06:34--> 00:06:54

an enemy. And right now when he had converted, it was almost as though he was surrendering. He was giving up he had no option. But Alhamdulillah Allah guided him to Islam, and he accepted Islam. Right. So what happened? sad little Deal or No, he said, Oh, Sophia, today is the day of a great battle. And today, the cover will be made halaal

00:06:55--> 00:07:16

meaning what is prohibited in the carbon will be made permissible meaning fighting is not allowed around the Kaaba, it's a sacred place, but today it will be allowed. So basically, he's saying, what are you going to do now? You know, you failed miserably. So I will say if you haven't got a little angry, and he said to our best or our best, how excellent the day of destruction is.

00:07:17--> 00:07:55

He's also mocking that Okay, welcome the day of destruction. So when the Prophet said a lot of time passed by Abu sufian, went to the Prophet sallallahu Sallam and he complained to him that this is what Sargon or Baba said to me. And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, he has said wrong today, Allah will give superiority to the Kaaba. Today the Kaaba will be venerated, and today the Kaaba will be covered with a cloth. Meaning today, the Cabo will be cleansed. Today, idolatry will be removed. We're not going to cause bloodshed in and around the Kaaba. No, we're going to respect the Kaaba, we're going to clean it, we're going to cleanse it.

00:07:56--> 00:08:21

And then the Prophet sallallahu Sallam he proceeded on towards Makkah, but also piano and our best they quickly went ahead of the Muslim army into Makkah. Now, when I was Sofia and got to Makkah, he announced, all the people are waiting anxiously What's going on? We had sent you last night. And you come now this morning, what's going on? So I was up here. And when he went, he announced that whoever wishes to be saved should go to my house.

00:08:22--> 00:08:45

Now the people said, may you be cursed? How can everybody fit in your house? What are you talking about? Then Abu Sufyan said, Okay, so whoever closes the door to his house, he is also safe. And whoever goes into the huddle, he is also safe. Which you see how he started. Me first, that whoever wants to be safe, look how important I am go to my house.

00:08:46--> 00:09:24

Anyway, the Prophet sallallahu Sena made his way into Makkah, and the people of Makkah, they rushed into their homes, they rushed to the masjid in order to be safe. The Prophet sallallahu Sallam divided the Muslim army into several groups. He sent one group under Khalid Ibn Walid rodilla. And he sent this group to enter Makkah through one particular passage, because remember, there were many entrances into Makkah. So he wanted that all of the entrances at the same time, all of the roads, the Muslim should be coming from all of them. Right? So had I been worried about the lower I knew he was sent through one passage is available, or I knew he was sent through another passage, about obey

00:09:24--> 00:09:56

that I'll do alone, one who was sent through another, and then the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he made his way through another. Now how did he know he made his way as the Prophet sallallahu Sallam had directed him. And some people actually came to fight him. Some of the machine at this point they came to fight Hollywood elite and his people, the group of Muslims that were with him, even at this point, they were resisting, because he didn't really he fought them back and he basically chased them away, and they ran off. And then Khalid bin Walid made his way through the streets of Makkah, and he went straight to mount Safa, as the Prophet sallallahu Sallam had instructed him, and he

00:09:56--> 00:09:59

waited for the Prophet sallallahu Sallam to arrive over there.

00:10:00--> 00:10:39

The Prophet sallallahu Sena made his way from cloudapp gaff del Elif Hamza, this word is mentioned in a Hadith, kata, and kata is the upper part of Makkah. All right, the North America so, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam entered Mecca from there. And as he entered, he headed straight to the karma. He didn't go to see the house where he used to live in the house where he grew up. He didn't go to see the mall, the marketplace, nothing. When he went into Makkah, straight, the first thing he did, he headed straight to the Kaaba. And at this time, the prophets of Allah was not in the state of Iran because the intention was not

00:10:40--> 00:11:19

the intention was conquest, so he was not in the state of Iran. And in Bukhari, we learned the Prophet sallallahu Sallam was wearing a helmet. He was wearing a helmet and Abubakar on the lower end who was with him. And both were having a conversation light conversation as they were entering into Makkah. And then in Buhari we learned that Abdullah bin will offer he said, I saw the Messenger of Allah sallallahu Sallam on the day of the conquest of Makkah, sitting on his Shi camel, and he was reciting surah, Al Fatah, in a vibrant, quivering tone, being the way he was reciting sort of was amazing. It was melting, it was touching the hearts of everybody who was listening. And our

00:11:19--> 00:11:28

beloved will often said that I want to recite in the same way that the prophets of Allah and recite it, but I fear that people will surround me and they will start paying too much attention. So I don't want to do it.

00:11:30--> 00:12:09

But the way the prophets are lost and recited to the Father at this time, with all his heart with Amen, it was a very impressive recitation. And we learned that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam entered into the huddle with his face down, almost as though his face it was touching the neck of the camel, so humble he was as he entered into Makkah, and when he reached the huddle, the first thing he did, he got down his candle and he kissed the black stone. And then he did that the love of the Kaaba. And as he did the life of the Kaaba, he with his stick. What did he do? He struck the idols, causing them to fall and break. Because remember, in Bahari, we learned that when the Prophet sallallahu

00:12:09--> 00:12:46

Sallam entered Makkah at the day of conquest, there were 360 idols around the cargo around now what was inside is another story. Just around it were 360. So the prophets, a lot of them began striking them with a sticky head in his hand, and he was saying and helpful, was heckled badly. I'll help to warm up the old Belfry Luma. You read, the truth has come and the falsehood has been vanquished. I'll help the truth has come and falsehood will neither start nor will it reappear.

00:12:47--> 00:13:10

It cannot start it cannot reappear and that's exactly what happened. The idolatry that was destroyed that day. Bismillah it has not reappeared in that house around that house till today. In Bahari, we learned that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam he entered Makkah through its upper part and he was writing his Sheikh camel and Osama bin Zayed Road, the Allahu anhu, who was Osama bin Zayed,

00:13:11--> 00:13:25

the son of a drug dealer and who was at the lower end who the adopted son right now at this point they didn't know and who has been martyred? Because remember, he was martyred at the Battle of Mukta. Right? And the father was after.

00:13:26--> 00:14:09

So Osama bin Zayed. Where was he? He was sitting behind the Prophet sallallahu Sallam on the same camel. So remember, ibaka was also with him. Perhaps they were both writing, right? Baba was another camel, but behind the Prophet sallallahu Sallam was Osama bin Zayed. And in his company, were beloved and earthman. Bin palha. Also the law of the land and Who was he? The Medina rasulillah. Right. He was the one who had been tortured. in Makkah, he had made his way out to Medina, right. And the prophets of Allah appointed him as the admin. Now as the prophets Allah Lawson is entering Mr. Han, who was with him, Villa de la Mora, who also and as well as Horace Mann vinpearl, who was

00:14:10--> 00:14:52

the one who had the key to the Carver. And remember that he had also embraced Islam and made his role with Hollywood either below or after America. Right. So at this point, he's entering Macau with the Prophet sallallahu sallam. Now, when the Prophet sallallahu Sallam made that the laugh, he made his Sheikh camel, kneel down, kneel down and then he got off and he ordered us manual deliver on who to bring the key of the Carver and to open it. So by this point, remember that the items that were around the carpet they had been destroyed. Now what is inside the cover must also be cleansed. So Earth mangled hello and who brought the key of the Kaaba, he opened the Kaaba, and the Prophet

00:14:52--> 00:15:00

sallallahu Sallam went inside along with Osama Villa and earthmen. These three companions went in with the

00:15:00--> 00:15:38

profits are the lightest, and he stayed inside for a long period. And then he came out, and the people rush to get in right to see what the prophet sallallahu Sallam had done. But while the prophets of Allah was inside, nobody dared to step in. All right. So what happened? Our delivery model was one of the first people to come in, when the Prophet sallallahu Sallam left and when he saw me that he asked him, What did the Prophet sallallahu Sallam do? Where did he offer the salah and bulalo and who pointed out to him that this is where he prayed Salah, he offered salah and Abdullah Abdullah and who later on he said, I forgot to ask him how many

00:15:39--> 00:16:17

I forgot to ask him how many records but I know that he prayed Salah in the Kaaba and the exact place where he prayed also below the lower end who showed or the loving aroma. Now we learned in another Hadith which is in Mohali that when the Prophet sallallahu Sallam arrived in Makkah, and he did the philosophy refuse to enter the Kaaba, well, there were idols in it. So before he entered, he ordered that the idols be taken out, even avasta lower and who said that the pictures there were some images, right that the people had drawn. And they were images of Ibrahim and it's not read or label center, meaning people have drawn them out of their own imagination. And the pictures that

00:16:17--> 00:16:58

they had drawn of Abraham and his Mary that were holding arrows. What kind of arrows were they have, you know Islam in the Quran? Whelan. Right. So Islam, so this is what those arrows were. And when these pictures were brought out, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, may Allah ruin these people who the people who drew these images, they know very well, that Abraham and his married never drew lots. They never did this kind of thing. game of chance, right? They never did this. And then the Prophet sallallahu Sallam entered the Cabo and he performed Salah inside. So basically, now the cargo was cleaned from outside, it was cleaned from inside. And then when the Prophet sallallahu Sallam came

00:16:58--> 00:17:38

out, the door was closed, that it was locked, the key was returned to Earth man being done. Why? Because Allah says in the Quran, that in the Lucha yet Moodle and two Advil amanat, Illa, Allah that you give the Amana the Trust's back to their people. So the Prophet sallallahu Sallam returned it. Now, at this point, it is also reported that when Rasulullah sallallahu came out of the Kaaba, you can imagine the people of Makkah, everybody's watching, right. Many people are hiding because they're afraid because of all the crimes that they've committed against the Muslims, especially their leaders that were hiding in their houses. Right. But there were also many people who had taken

00:17:38--> 00:17:50

refuge in the home in the masjid al Haram. So they were watching the Prophet sallallahu sallam, what is he going to do? And at this point, the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he declared his forgiveness for all people in general.

00:17:51--> 00:18:09

There are some weak reports. They're not authentic. There are some weak reports. But since there are so many, this is why the scholars do accept them. But it should be known that these are weak reports. That it is said that the prophets of the laws and when he came out of the Kaaba, he asked the people, what do you think I'm going to do with you?

00:18:11--> 00:18:28

What do you think I'm going to do today? And then wish the king or the people who had now accepted Islam at the conquest of Makkah, they said, You are a noble brother, the son of a noble brother. So he said, I say to you what you subset to his brothers left a three barrel acorn

00:18:29--> 00:18:42

is horrible. And tomato, aka, there is no blame on you today. Go you are free. You are free, no revenge today. So in general, there was pardon for who? Everybody.

00:18:43--> 00:19:18

And this is why we see that some people you know, when they sent were to the prophets on a lot of sentiment requesting if they could be given protection for two months for four months, if they could be spared for some time, the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he granted that protection that they were safe, even though they had committed such great crimes. However, we learned that there were certain individuals who had committed serious crimes against the Muslims, either through their tongue, or through their weapons. Amongst them was a man, when the Prophet sallallahu Sallam came in to Makkah, that man, he went into the harem, and he and he clung. He was basically holding the wall of the

00:19:18--> 00:19:54

Kaaba or the kiss was the Kaaba, he was holding on to it. And when the Prophet sallallahu Sallam was informed, that that man is holding the kiswa of the Kaaba, what should we do, but you've given us the order that we should execute him because of the crimes that he has committed. The Prophet sallallahu Sallam he was wearing his helmet at that point, he took it off, and he said, execute him. Because if you really wanted forgiveness, he would have come and asked for it. If you really wanted to make up for the wrong that he had done, he would have come and spoken to the prophets on a lot of them about the fact that he's holding on to the kiss of the Kaaba. What does that show that he's

00:19:54--> 00:19:59

just trying, you know, to find a way out that look, you know, it's like safety zone. You know, you can't touch me

00:20:00--> 00:20:41

You can't harm me. I'm still an enemy to you. But you can't touch me because I am holding on to the case while the cargo but the profits that allows him instructed that he be killed. There were many other people also regarding whom it was understood that they must be killed because of the crimes that they had committed. Now if you think about it, so help in Ammar what had he done? All his life he had been enemy to the profits of a lot isn't right. That's on her davia he was so unfair. And then what did he do to his own son? Right? He had captured him in the house tortured him abused him. And then what happened? When the bonobo wanted to attack the Hazara? What did he do? He's the one

00:20:41--> 00:21:25

who sent weapons, he aided them. Right. So if you think about it, these crimes were not small. So there were about 1718 people who had to be killed. But as we will learn charlo, only a few of them were actually killed only a few. And that was some say for some say five, some say six, there's a there's a disagreement over their exact number and their names. But what is evident is that these people who were killed, they're the ones who did not even do anything to make up for what they had for the crimes that they had committed against the Muslims. Anybody else? Anybody else who asked for protection, who apologized, they were pardoned if the prophets and a lot of them forgive Abu Sufyan

00:21:26--> 00:21:33

and we will learn how he forgives him. And also, he forgives us when when he also He forgive big, big criminals.

00:21:34--> 00:21:59

If he had some people assassinated, what was the reason? They didn't want to make up? Right? They didn't want to solve the problem. Because this is highlighted a lot. You know, people forget about the number of people that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam forgave at this point. And all they highlight is that Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam ordered that such and such and such person be executed even in the sanctity of the karma.

00:22:00--> 00:22:04

And how many were they after all four or five, six, that's it maximum.

00:22:05--> 00:22:44

Now, remember, the profits or losses entered late morning, right. And we learned that around that after he conquered the car, but after this happened, he made his way to the house off. Uhm, hanneke right. Omani was a relative of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, she was basically the sister of our little dilla horn who so how was he related to the Prophet sallallahu sallam, because she was full sister of the Lord. So the prophets have a lot of fun. I went to her house. And we learned that over there, Fatima de la mer and this is this we learned Buhari, Fatima will deliver on how she was holding up a sheet in order to screen the prophets of Allah sentiment, the prophets of the Lawson

00:22:44--> 00:23:20

was taking aback because there were no separate bathrooms, right. And this shows that Fatima the lower earner also went for fat mocha. So the women were also there for this victory on this journey. So anyway, she was holding up the sheet the profit or loss and was taking a bathroom, Hannah walked in at that time, and the profit or the loss and I'm asked Who is it and he was told who it was. When the Prophet sallallahu Sallam when he finished his bath, dressed up he came home when he said that he had a suit of law. Ali wants to kill two people whom I have given protection to.

00:23:21--> 00:23:56

They were criminals. Right? What she said I have given protection to them, but only wants to kill them. And the Prophet said a lot of them said we give protection to those whom you have given protection. Right. And here the prophets have a lot of sin and prayed. So that will do how also All right, we learned that he performs a lot to do her. And this is that the one time that it is reported to the Prophet sallallahu then prayed, so that'll do it or God. Some say that it was not Salah for her rather, it was no effort for the Father, in gratitude for the victory, a little art of the prophets, Allah knows that he performed Salah at this time, then we learned that around loads of

00:23:56--> 00:24:06

time. Now when so that a little bit had to be performed Villa rodilla Horton who ascended the carb, he got on top of the Carver and he gave the other

00:24:08--> 00:24:15

he gave the other and when he pronounced the event this was declaration of Islamic rule in Morocco. Basically,

00:24:16--> 00:24:22

idols are destroyed, and then is being pronounced from the roof of the car. But what does that show?

00:24:24--> 00:24:38

Islam is here now. Now think about it. Below the lower end who remember in Makkah, when he was tortured, what would he say? I had a had and now he's giving the event and what is he saying? I shall do Allah Allah Allah Allah.

00:24:40--> 00:24:43

I shadow under Muhammad Rasul Allah, that same voice.

00:24:44--> 00:24:59

Now when the people heard the other then and the event is what basically it's the it's a summary of the message of Islam. Right now when people heard the other and obviously some hearts were rejoicing and there were some people who had just embraced Islam and who still weren't fully

00:25:00--> 00:25:36

into Islam, right because of their history, but they had accepted Islam. But they were feeling a little uncomfortable. And there were others who were not embraced Islam, but they were protected. So there were some people who said certain things that were not positive. So for example, had it been a sham. He said, Well lucky. When will Allah the lower end? Who said I shall do under Mohammed rasulillah? He said, Well, law he if I thought this man was on the truth, I would follow Him, meaning, Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam even though you can say he's a prophet, without can testify, he's a prophet. I don't think he's a prophet, because if he was a prophet, I would follow him. So

00:25:36--> 00:26:16

how does Finnish I'm at this point is still not a Muslim? Yes, brother will have. And I will Sofia, when he was standing next to him, and it was a fan. He had just embraced Islam in the morning, right? He said, As for me, my tongue is sealed. I'm not gonna say anything. Because if I were to say anything, even the rocks would inform or Hamilton a lot of what I have said, so I can't say anything. I'm going to be quiet. Now. You can sense it here, that even though he's accepted Islam, he's still having difficulty. And this is something that's normal. It's natural. You know, there are some things that are part of the deen even though you accept them, but still, you find it difficult

00:26:16--> 00:26:52

to be comfortable with them. And as a person's demand increases from acceptance, you go to the level of the law, right of happiness. So it takes time to get there. So we'll soufiane was also struggling at this point, but he knew that he couldn't say anything negative because that would not be right. So what happened when the Prophet said a lot of sudden was exiting the huddle when he was leaving the masjid, he passed by these men. And when he passed by these men, he told each and every one of them what he had said, had been his Sham, what he had said it was a fear and what he had said, and there were some other people also and they had some things that were negative, and the Prophet

00:26:52--> 00:27:22

sallallahu Sallam said to each one, what exactly what he had said, and had has been his Sham at this point. He said, Well, law here You must be a prophet, for no one was listening to our conversation. So at this point, had his Venetia, he accepted Islam. And we learned that has been a sham later on. You know, the famous Hadith about the second Hadees and Buhari In fact, that tells us that somebody asked the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he had a sort of luck, a fanatical way, how does he come to you? Who was the questioner? It was had had been Haitian.

00:27:23--> 00:27:59

And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam answered him about the three different ways in which where he would come to him. So how does finish him is the one who asked him that question. And you know, this is why the the Sahaba, they would say that we would love to have, you know, Bedouins or such people come, intelligent people come to the Prophet sallallahu sallam, because they would ask questions that we wouldn't dare ask, you know, because this kind of question of a backhoe would never ask the profit to the loss and I'm out of respect. Right? It would be a moral dilemma and who they would never ask these kind of questions out of respect. Right? But these people, new converts, or you

00:27:59--> 00:28:18

know, some visitor from outside, they would come and ask these questions, and those are how they would benefit. Right? So anyway, the prophets of Allah made his way out of the masjid, and he went to Mount Safa. Now, at this time, Mount Sinai is part of most of them how long right? At that time, it was not. There were people who lived around the mount Safa.

00:28:19--> 00:28:55

Alright, right? Remember that outcome? His house was near the sofa or Manuel, one of these two. All right, and this is why the Muslims would gather in that house because it was a very public place. Right. So the Prophet sallallahu Sallam went to Mount Safa. And as he reached the top of Mount Safa, he could see the Kaaba and at this point while he is on Mount Safa, hundreds of people surrounded the prophets that alone is alone, waiting to formally accept Islam and give him the bear. Does this remind you of something? mount Safa? Yes.

00:28:56--> 00:29:05

All right. In the third year, when a lost parents are ordered the prophets Allah set him to call people openly to Islam. He went on top of Mount Safa, he called people.

00:29:06--> 00:29:45

Right obon who so and so and so and so he called people by name. And when a large gathering was there, the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he invited them to Islam. But what was the reaction of Allah have? Basically he ruined the entire momentum, right? The invitation brought no results. But at this point, what happened now, after about 20 years, what happened? Hundreds of people were coming to the profit satellites, and I'm on the mountain, giving him by accepting Islam at his hands. And we learned that when people were coming to the Prophet salallahu sin and accepting Islam. So for example, when men when Muslim men, he brought his brother, the prophets have a lot of sentiment, he

00:29:45--> 00:29:48

said that he had a sort of like he wants to give you Bera for higit also.

00:29:50--> 00:29:54

And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, Hey, Joy has gone to its people, meaning now there's no hitter.

00:29:55--> 00:30:00

Because in that region now, there was no Donald COVID there was no there was no place.

00:30:00--> 00:30:39

All right. I mean, if Think about it, MCI is now conquered. If MCI is conquered, the heart of Arabia has been conquered. Now, what does that mean? Muslims are safe anywhere in Arabia now. Technically, right now within a few months, what's going to happen? Everyone is going to surrender. Right? So the prophets of Allah since a migration has gone to its people now, this is why we learned our basketball below on Who was he? The last mohajir because he was on his way to Medina, when the Muslims were on their way to Makkah to concrete. Right, so he was the last one Hagit human, his family, and the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, but I will take pledge from him for Islam and for

00:30:39--> 00:30:51

jihad. Meaning that is what he can do now. So he gave him by our for that. Then we learned that men came, women came, and amongst the women, was also Hindu in earth.

00:30:52--> 00:31:28

And who was she, the one who had hams out of the lower, killed in the Battle of water than she had also mutilated his body. Now Hyndman Earth vacuum, and it is said that she came covered up so that she wouldn't be recognized by the prophets. Allah loves him, because obviously she was embarrassed. And if anything, like we learned previously, also that women of Arabia, they did have, you know, this level of modesty that they would cover themselves. Right, that woman who was taking the letter of how to lower the lower and who to Makkah, what happened, she had it in her hair, right? And then went a little too low on who demanded the letter from her and threatened her that if you don't give

00:31:28--> 00:31:31

it, we'll have to search you. What did she say turn around.

00:31:32--> 00:31:50

So I need to know and who turned around and the woman she took off her job and then she extracted the letter opener here extracted the letter and gave it to the lower right. So hinge also, when she came to the profits of the Law Center, she was covered. She had a shawl. So does it not affect Muslim women to cover themselves?

00:31:51--> 00:31:53

Right, if the Muslim women,

00:31:54--> 00:32:28

you know, they covered themselves up, then how about Muslim women whom Allah orders in the Quran, that they should cover themselves. So anyway, she also came and she gave by our to the Prophet sallallahu Sallam and obviously the era that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam took from women, it was not with the hand, right? But with the men it was with the hand meaning the they would you know, just as you put your hand on top of somebody else's end, that is how the bear was taken with men, but but with women, it was just verbal, and with the women specifically the Prophet sallallahu sallam, you know, he set some conditions meaning he mentioned them all, one by one, because in the

00:32:28--> 00:33:07

Quran, Allah says, So, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said that you will not worship idols, you will worship only Allah, you will not kill your children, you will not steal, you will not commit Zina, alright. And hint for every statement of the prophets have a lot of sense that she had, you know, a comment or a question or criticism. All right, this is not because she was not happy if she did not want to accept Islam, she wouldn't have come because at this point, there were so many people who had not embraced Islam. Right. But it just shows that she was not a woman who was going to stay silent. She was going to say out her thoughts, whatever is in her mind, she was going to say no, she

00:33:07--> 00:33:15

was very confident she was very bold. So she responded. And it's a very interesting conversation. So anyway, this happened, and

00:33:16--> 00:33:45

old men also came among them was also Abu hanifa, a vocal however, the father of Abu Bakr, al de la horn, a smack de la Miranda. She brought him she was holding him by his hand, and she brought him all the way to the Prophet sallallahu sallam, and he was blind at this point, His hair was pigeon white, like completely white. All right, and the profits or losses, and when he saw him coming, he got up and he said that, why did you bring him, I would have come to him.

00:33:46--> 00:34:05

And this is the respect that the profits of a lot of them showed to the elderly. Anyway, Boko Haram also came and he accepted Islam. Now imagine the father of a worker, right? And from his age, what do we see he's one of the oldest people of Makkah. He was of the same age group as a butanna.

00:34:06--> 00:34:21

All right, butanna died long time ago, is still alive. And when he was giving birth to the Prophet sallallahu sallam, Abu Bakar, he was crying, he was crying. Why? Because he was saying that I wish this was the hand of Abu Talib.

00:34:22--> 00:34:48

I mean, Abu Bakar was happy with the fact that his father was embracing Islam. And this was a source of great happiness for him. But he knew the pain that was in the heart of the profits of a lot instead of because of the fact that his own uncle had not embraced this. So he wanted the profits on a lot of them to be happy at that point. It's almost as if he felt it's not fair that I am happy, and you can't be happy the same way. I am happy. I wish this was the handoff.

00:34:50--> 00:34:59

So what happened, many people that took bear they embraced Islam over here at this point, and there were many others who were still hiding in there.

00:35:00--> 00:35:33

Houses are who were still, you know, in the house of Abu sufian or in the muscular harem, still hesitant, not willing to come and accept Islam. What happened around this time the Prophet sallallahu wasallam. He got up and he gave an address. He addressed the people in Buhari his narrative, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam got up on the day of the conquest of Makkah. And he said, Allah has made Makkah, a sanctuary since the day he created the heavens and the earth. Since the day the earth was created, Makkah is haram

00:35:34--> 00:36:02

and it will remain a harem. Why? Because Allah subhanaw taala made it like that, and it will remain until the day of judgment. And fighting was not made lawful to anyone before me meaning in here, was not lawful for anyone before me, nor will it be made lawful to anyone after me. Meaning after the prophets Allah, no one should say, Oh, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam invaded Makkah, so we should also invade Makkah.

00:36:03--> 00:36:43

No, nobody has that permission. This is the one and only exceptional case in which Allah granted exclusive permission to His Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam for the reason of conquest. And even that we see there was hardly any bloodshed. There were no weapons, and no, I mean, there were weapons, but there was no fighting. The main the one fight that took place was in the roadway that led into Makkah, and Khalid, and we're either alone and who basically he chased those people away. And how many people were killed in total about four or five. Right? And that was because they refuse to apologize or make amends. They were firm in their way. And this is the reason why they were

00:36:43--> 00:37:05

killed. So the prophets on a lot of them said that it was only made lawful for me for a short period of time. It's game should not be chased meaning the animals that are in it, they should not be hunted. Nor should its trees be cut, nor its vegetation or grass, uprooted. Nor its look oughta be picked up. What is

00:37:07--> 00:37:24

the last data is basically something that has been dropped. Right? So for example, the person is walking, they don't realize they drop their wallet and they keep going. Now you come and you see a wallet on the floor. Should you pick it up? The Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, No, it's locata should not be picked up.

00:37:25--> 00:37:55

Now what happens with it the people who are in charge of the area, they decide what what is to be done with it. But as we who visit the Kaaba, the heroine, we are not allowed to pick up any locata whether it is slippers outside the masjid, right. Or it is food, anything wallet money, anything at all, we are not allowed to pick it up. It's hot. Um, it's forbidden to pick up last items from Makkah, except by the one who makes a public announcement about it.

00:37:57--> 00:38:05

All right, meaning the one who can pick it up and announce now who can make a public announcement? random people like us who cannot even speak Arabic?

00:38:06--> 00:38:45

Yeah, because if we are holding something and saying, did anybody drop a wallet, nobody's gonna know what you're saying. Right? Nobody's gonna know. So who's supposed to do this now, people who are in charge of the area. So are buffalo argument at this point? He said the other sort of law except for a flood, meaning it had grass you said that grass should not be uprooted? here can you please allow us to use include grass? And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, Yes, except for a period that is lawful to cut but that is the only exception that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam made and we see that a similar instruction the Prophet sallallahu Sallam gave on the next day also, because in Bukhari,

00:38:45--> 00:39:18

there is another report that says, the prophets on a lot of them said on the second day of the conquest of Makkah, right and the Scimitar had these has been narrated. So a lot of Harlem, either the narrator was confused, or it was really that the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he made this declaration twice, because you can imagine the gathering is huge. 10,000 people had come in for the conquest. And there were already people of Makkah. And in addition to them, there must have been some other visitors also, because MCI is a busy place, right? So perhaps the prophets that have lost that have made this announcement several times.

00:39:19--> 00:39:40

Now, when so many people were embracing Islam, we learned that the unsolved they were feeling a little insecure. Why? Because they see the Prophet sallallahu wasallam feeling so happy and comfortable with his people. Right? So many people are now coming and embracing Islam, that they're feeling that maybe the prophets of Allah Islam is going to stay here.

00:39:41--> 00:39:43

Maybe he's not going to come back with us.

00:39:44--> 00:39:59

All right. And when this happened, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam addressed the inside, and he reminded them of the pledge of Aqaba. Because remembering the pledge of acaba, they asked the Prophet sallallahu Sallam that the other sort of law if Allah gives you victory, will you leave us and go back to your people?

00:40:00--> 00:40:39

And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said no, but it dum dum. The blood is blood meaning our blood is your blood. Right? Our life is your life. No, this bond that we're making now is going to last forever. So the Prophet sallallahu Sallam reminded them of the covenant, and he said that I will always be one of you. He he consoled them that no, I'm not staying here. I am with you. We're going back together. But Dena is now my home. And at this the answer, wept and beg for forgiveness. And the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he said, Allah and His Messenger, believe you and they've accepted your excuse. So the prophets of Allah made it clear at this point that he was not going to stay in

00:40:39--> 00:41:20

Makkah, rather he was going to go to Medina. Now, how long did the prophets have the laws that have stayed mccobb for the conquest? It has said some reports in 19 days, some say 15 Some say 10. Perhaps the narrator's some of them they lump everything together. So the journey to to Makkah and then further to thought if right for the purpose of that, but the reports indicate that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam definitely he was in Makkah for a few weeks, two to three weeks, definitely he was there. Now during this time, what happened? The first question is these two, three weeks, 90 days or 10 days or 15 days? How many ever days? Where did the Prophet sallallahu? Stay? Where did he stay?

00:41:22--> 00:41:44

No, because his house was not there anymore. It had been taken over by people are now sold. And you know, so when it has been sold? Now it's somebody else's property, the profits at a loss, I wouldn't take it back. All right. And are they not delinquent? on who? He asked the prophets of Allah to send them that? No, we should go stay at my house. You know, I will call him his house.

00:41:45--> 00:41:49

But the Prophet said a lot of them said has even left anything for us.

00:41:50--> 00:42:19

Because our theme, he was the one who inherited from a blood clot because you see, only a machete can inherit from wishek. A Muslim cannot inherit from a mistake. Right? So Talib and Aki, they were two sons that did not embrace Islam, and they're the ones who inherited a metallic property. Violet died, thought he was the eldest right? He died and arcane he basically sold the property. He sold it. So even though the house Everything is there, but it doesn't belong to them anymore. So the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, has even left anything for us.

00:42:20--> 00:42:59

So anyway, where did he stay, we learned that the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he stayed in a tent that was set up for him in the valley of who Dune and the companions they set up the stand for him. In fact, it was set up even before the Prophet sallallahu Sallam entered the must either hold on for the conquest. It is said that on his way, this tent was pitched as a beta blower and who are some other companions, they had set up the stand for him, and the profits or losses invested there for some time and then he proceeded to the cargo for the factory, but this is where he stayed after the conquest for 19 days. Now, why this valley, because it is said that this is the place where the

00:42:59--> 00:43:25

Quraysh had agreed to boycott the Banu Hashim. This is the place where they had gathered together and they had decided to boycott the Banu Hashim. And they wrote up the document and they kept it in the garbage. So the very place where it was decided that the Boko Haram are going to be boycotted, that is the place where the Prophet sallallahu Sallam lives freely as the ruler as the conquer of Makkah for several days.

00:43:26--> 00:43:53

Now we learn about a few people, that how the Prophet sallallahu Sallam dealt with them, one individual full dollar been obeyed. He was very angry. He wanted to take revenge. Now remember that the prophets of Allah is in a when he was in Makkah, and he came for the conquest, he did not perform well, at this point. What he did was that he performed many thoughts. Many thought, you know, just like you when you go into a Masjid, what's the first thing you do before you sit down

00:43:54--> 00:44:09

the hair to machine right? So when you go to Mr. Hara, one of the first things that you should do is the wife of the carwash. So the profits or the loss and I'm just the life many, many, many times during his day, and whenever he would be doing for work, people would give him some space.

00:44:10--> 00:44:44

All right, so that he could walk freely and he could, you know, engage in Vicar does be. So what happened? This one man pulled out of innervate. He thought, you know what, when the prophet SAW the laws and was doing the life, I should go and kill him right there, because people have given him space at that time. So I can pretend like I'm also doing the latter and that's what he did. He went with a dagger. And he caught up with the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he was right behind him. And as soon as he was about to attack the Prophet sallallahu sallam, the prophet SAW the loss and looked back and he said, Is this full Bala? And he said, Yes. He said, What are you doing here? I'm just

00:44:44--> 00:44:50

doing stuff. And the prophets of Allah said and put his hand on the Chesterfield, Allah and he said as the federal law,

00:44:51--> 00:44:58

he put his hand on his chest, and Fedora he said, It was as though you know, demand just entered into my heart and He embraced Islam right there.

00:44:59--> 00:44:59

You

00:45:00--> 00:45:11

See, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam he was so forgiving. I mean think about it at this point, could he not take the dagger from fedoras hand and kill him? could he not do that? He could

00:45:12--> 00:45:19

not have ordered the Sahaba to catch him and and finish him he could have but the Prophet sallallahu Sallam was a prophet of mercy.

00:45:21--> 00:45:59

wasn't he? Ramadan Allah, Allah mean? We see that our best, you know, when he went and got Abu sufian and the Prophet sallallahu Sallam allowed it was a fantasy with the conversion of Abu sufian. So much bloodshed was avoided, wasn't it? Because the Muslims are going to enter Makkah regardless. Because Abu Sufyan came with the people of Mecca, you know, the kind of surrender, they were willing to not fight back. And as a result, so much bloodshed was avoided. Here also we see the profits of the loss and forgive and forget accepted Islam. We learnt about soft lineman ommaya What did he do? Basically, he was so angry, he said to his family, I'm leaving, I can't stand this. I'm going and

00:45:59--> 00:46:10

I'm going to go commit suicide, I'm going to throw myself in the, in the sea. So he wanted the in order to sit on the ship, board the ship, go in the middle of the scene and jump off and kill himself. He told his family he was going to do that.

00:46:11--> 00:46:36

But his cousin and best friend who was related in web, remember made bunnahabhain soft landing in Romania. They had this conversation. Both of them in Mecca, were roommates said that if only I didn't have all of these responsibilities, I would have gone and killed Mohammed Salah Lhasa and myself. And supplyon said that look, I look after your family, you go and kill him. So remade went to kill the profits on the lesson. But what happened he embraced Islam and he stayed in Medina.

00:46:38--> 00:47:15

Now at the conquest of Makkah, he's coming and when he came, he's looking for someone been Romania because it's his cousin, his best friend. He hasn't seen him in so many years. And he wants the best for his cousin and best friend. But when he searches for him, he can't find him, he finds out that he has gone off to commit suicide. So he goes after him. And when he reaches Judah, Stefan was just boarding the ship, before he left to get one. Romain went to the Prophet sallallahu and he said he had a sort of law, please, I need something that is yours. So that I can show it to someone and show him that you are giving him protection, you know that you give him something that is yours your

00:47:15--> 00:47:16

personal belonging.

00:47:17--> 00:47:20

So the profits or loss of them gave him his own turban.

00:47:21--> 00:47:47

All right, and remade. He took his turban all the way. And he showed it to someone and he he basically called him and he said that look, I am coming to you from the best man, the best prophet. And he praised him and he praised a soft one. And he promised him that look, if you come with me, you take the turban of the prophets of Allah awesome. He's never gonna hurt you just come with me. Just come and talk to him. He will give you protection. You don't have to convert, he will give you protection. He won't kill you.

00:47:48--> 00:48:25

So so far, and finally he agreed, and they went and when someone got there, he was still on his horse and from his horse. He called it Yeah, Mohammed, my friend has told me that you give me protection. And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, Yes, I do. I give you protection. He said, Give me protection for two months, a profitable lesson took four months. Alright. And eventually, he got down from the animal. And he did not embrace Islam at this point. So if one went away, but limited supply and when he was one of the wealthiest people of Makkah. All right, he didn't embrace Islam, the Muslims when they went to the Battle of who name the prophets of the laws and and borrowed armor

00:48:25--> 00:49:06

weapons from South wenbin omiya. All right. And it was after the conquest of life when all the booty was brought in. And the prophets are lots of gifts of one so much, so much so much as of one, he knew that this cannot come from a king. It cannot come from a from the heart of a of a normal human being this has got to be the Messenger of Allah. So that is what led him to accepting Islam. Another man of the Levin zap, buddy, he was a port. All right, he was appointed who said a lot of fiery poetry against the Muslims. All right, and poetry is something you know, words are something that can really make you angry, they can really make you cry. They can. You know, it's amazing how a song

00:49:07--> 00:49:09

people when they're listening to it,

00:49:10--> 00:49:48

they can start crying, they can start smiling. Right? They can get very emotional, isn't it? So? Because it's the words, it's the poetry, it's the way they're said. So are the loved ones are very had said a lot of poetry against the Muslims. And when the Prophet salallahu came into Makkah, Abdullah knew that he was going to be killed. So what did he do? He fled, he fled with some of his friends or family and he went to neutron. Alright, and Iran is a land of the Christians remember? So he went there. Now what happened? Who was the opponent of the Lebanese, our buddy from the side of the Muslims, it was assignments I visited the lower end. Alright, so assignments either little or

00:49:48--> 00:49:59

no, he is the one who would respond to the poetry of, of the law, even zaveri. So what happened has Salman Sabbath? He said some poetry. All right against the love in Saudi

00:50:00--> 00:50:40

And basically he criticized him and he said, Well, what a coward you are you fled and, and all of that, and the sport he actually reached out there was already in Milan, when it reached him, and he heard it, he was affected by it. He said, Yeah, I'm really a coward. I'm really a coward. Have I even given thought to what Islam really is? Any thought about Islam? He thought about the Prophet sallallahu sallam, and he realized that this was the hook. And he said, What's the point of avoiding it? and living in a strange land among strange people, I should go and face reality and accept it. So he left, he went to Makkah, and he embraced Islam while the Prophet sallallahu Sallam was sitting

00:50:40--> 00:51:20

near the Kaaba. All right, he was sitting near the Kaaba, and it is said that Abdullah he as he was coming in, the prophets have a lot of time so I am coming and he said, I see nude on his icy the note of Eman on his face. So this man came and embraced Islam. Now several incidents happen and we can't really go into the detail of each and every incident. But we see that because there were so many people who had embraced Islam at this point. Many matters were taught to the new Congress. of them remember the incident of the lady who had committed theft? And they requested Osama radi Allahu anhu because he was the Beloved of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam that please go and request that she

00:51:20--> 00:51:57

be pardoned because she's from a noble family. And what happened the prophet SAW the loss and got very upset and he said that if Fatima, the daughter of Mohammed committed theft, then even she would have been punished. So this incident happened around this time. And other incident regarding a child custody issue also happened. There was a claim over one child one man said this is my child. Another said no, this is my child. So that was also resolved over there many matters that were prohibited, they were clarified to the people to prohibit ation of the sale of alcohol, prohibition of the sale of idols. prohibition of the word Muto, all of these matters were forbidden. And mainly, we learned

00:51:57--> 00:52:28

that Makkah was cleansed of idolatry, so much so that no idol remained even in the houses of the people who lived in Makkah, even though there were people who had not embraced Islam yet. But all idolatry was finished, it was abolished. Then when Morocco was cleaned, what was the next step? Because remember that there were idols that were placed inside the Kaaba around the Kaaba in Mecca. Right. Remember, there were certain idols near Safa, Marwah, right. And there were certain other idols outside of Makkah also,

00:52:29--> 00:52:45

right, every major tribe had their major idol. All right, and these idols, it wasn't like a random idol standing in the middle of nowhere. No, there was a temple a shrine, right where people would go and offer sacrifice. So these were hubs centers of Schick.

00:52:46--> 00:53:27

Now, one center was unfortunately the Carver that was cleaned up. Now these other centers also had to be cleaned up. So what happened? The profits that a lot of them sent many expeditions around Mecca, to invite the neighboring tribes to Islam, and also destroy the major centers of idols. So for example, we learnt on the 25th of Ramadan. I remember in Ramadan earlier in the month the prophets of Allah some conquered Makkah, he didn't wait for it next year. He didn't wait for next month. Within days. The prophets Allah Allah Simpson hollyburn, Walid, see collinwood either the low on who, you know he's on one expedition after the other. The prophets that allows him sent him with

00:53:27--> 00:54:07

300 companions to nephila why to destroy Rosa, the idle reserve and the shrine over there. This was you could say the biggest idol of the region. So it was destroyed. Then we learned out of inositol de la Mourinho again, he was a leader, right? The prophets of Allah Islam treated him like a leader, his expertise, his strength, the prophets that allows him used it for Islam. And you see, this is what happens with many people that whatever strength they have when it's not being utilized in the best way, they feel like they're not bringing much value, they feel dissatisfied. So what happens they want to leave. Right? So I'm gonna also deliver on what happened. He was sent to destroy the

00:54:07--> 00:54:08

idle sewer,

00:54:09--> 00:54:20

sewer, and it was the biggest idol of who they are. The tribe of who they saw Ivan's aid was sent to destroy manette the idol manette near or did

00:54:21--> 00:54:42

another incident happened over here. This is where digital hottie the prophets of the Lawson sent Harlequin really to the tribe of gentlemen. And what happened Han is that although our new as a leader, he invited them to Islam. But what happened instead of saying Islam now Islam now we have accepted Islam the people said Saba nasarah Why did they say Saba?

00:54:44--> 00:54:51

So by no means we have left our religion. All right. And the machine used to call the Muslims solve it.

00:54:52--> 00:54:59

Right? If anybody embraced Islam, there was a Saba so these people were trying to say Islam now. Yes, we have accepted Islam.

00:55:00--> 00:55:04

But hadn't really thought they're saying, We're not accepting Islam.

00:55:05--> 00:55:07

So what happened hot a little too low or no still fought them.

00:55:09--> 00:55:13

It was a mistake on his part. It was a human being, after all, a mistake on his part.

00:55:14--> 00:55:22

And then many people were taken in as captives. Now, how did it although our new waited for several days, and these people were not able to express themselves clearly.

00:55:24--> 00:55:29

And then eventually college on the lower end, who told each Muslim soldier to kill his captive?

00:55:30--> 00:55:53

Now, what happened some so However, they said no way. Amongst them was at the living room, a little lower end. He said, I'm not gonna care. Because even if these people do not embrace Islam, we don't have the right to do that. We weren't sent to spread violence. We weren't sent to kill people. We were sent to invite them to Islam. And if they refuse, that's their choice. Because remember, sort of Nova was not revealed at this point.

00:55:55--> 00:56:07

All right. So the purpose of these expeditions was just to destroy the major idols. All right, to show that Islam is dominant, and to invite people to Islam if they accept good if they don't leave them.

00:56:09--> 00:56:25

So some companions, they refused. They didn't listen to Harlequin, what the Academy, Lita, I'm your leader, I'm telling you, you have to follow me. They said, No, we're not gonna follow you. So they went to the Prophet sallallahu sallam, and they told him and when the prophets of Allah and found out he said, Oh, Allah, I am free from what Khalid has done.

00:56:27--> 00:56:42

I did not order him to do this. So it was an error on the part of Hollywood on the lower end, who, but it shows to us that sometimes it happens with Muslims, that in their zeal for Islam and their zeal for spreading Islam, they turn to violence.

00:56:43--> 00:57:14

Right? They start forcing Islam or they waste weapons against innocent people. And what was the response of the province that a lot of them, Oh Allah, I am free from what Khalid has done. His intention may be very good. However, what he did was not right and I am free from it. This isn't Buhari the prophets of Allah said and then said blood money to that tribe. He compensated them for their loss, right, and even any financial loss that was caused to them that they were compensated for it.

00:57:15--> 00:57:35

Now we see that after the conquest of Makkah, many people embraced Islam. And this is why we learned that the ninth year after Hitler, right this is known as the year off will food Armand will food because when the prophet SAW the loss and did return to Medina, eventually what happened? One delegation after the other, you know, they came to Medina, embracing Islam.

00:57:36--> 00:57:54

Right. And there were many people who were saying things like Allah had protected Makkah from the people of elephants. Right, I let it not let them take over Makkah. So if Allah allows this man, meaning Mohammed Salah allows him to conquer Mecca, then he must be the Prophet of Allah.

00:57:55--> 00:58:03

So, majority of the people of Arabia, were waiting for this conquest to see what happens who is dominant. So when this conquest happened,

00:58:05--> 00:58:24

they embraced Islam. Many embraced Islam. And this is why the prophets that allows them send groups of Sahaba, right? Because when you see that idol falling, and you see that there's a snam in Makkah, then it's easier to accept Islam, the truth was evident to people, but they were just waiting for these major changes to occur, so that it would be easy for them to accept.

00:58:25--> 00:58:29

Now what happened right after the conquest of Makkah,

00:58:30--> 00:58:38

who's very close to Mecca, the people of life, right? The people of thought if they decided to launch an attack on the Muslims,

00:58:40--> 00:58:55

why? Why did they want to fight the Muslims in Makkah? Because this was their chance to take over Makkah. Now the Quran had been defeated, right? The people have thought if the house in the thief who was their main rival was a crash.

00:58:56--> 00:59:36

There was a crash. Now they see okay, a crash have been destroyed. And the people of life were richer. They were wealthier. How are they wealthier because they had fertile land. They didn't just do business trade. They also had fertile land. Right? They had rain they had produced they had their lands and life. It was also a walled city at that point. All right. So you could imagine how wealthy they were and they thought, this is our chance. Let's just go fight people in Macau. And we'll take over and we will be the rulers of Arabia. All right. And also, they wanted to preserve idolatry

00:59:37--> 00:59:50

because of the idols have been removed from Makkah. Right. And the people have thought if they still are upon idolatry, they want to defend idolatry, right. So they thought if we take over mocha, we will bring idolatry back.

00:59:51--> 00:59:59

All right. So what happened? They decided to fight the Muslims, and they sent word around to every pagan

01:00:00--> 01:00:04

tribe, every Muslim tribe, meaning every tribe was still not Muslim, they sent work to them.

01:00:05--> 01:00:06

So together,

01:00:07--> 01:00:14

the tribes have houses in the leaves. So the tribes, the people who lived in and around thought if they form 10,000.

01:00:15--> 01:00:23

And the others would join them, they formed another 10,000 20,000 people gathered up to fight the Muslims.

01:00:24--> 01:00:57

Now what happened when the prophet SAW the laws and and learned about this, he heard rumors about this, he sent somebody a recent convert somebody who had just recently embraced Islam, he sent him to try to find out if this was true, why did he send him because the people alive would not recognize him as a Muslim? Right? You could really go inside and see what's going on. So he came back and he told the Prophet sallallahu Sallam that he has this, this information is true that they are gathering up to fight to us. And we have to do something about it. Now the Sahaba were in denial. They didn't want to accept it or a moral dilemma and who said perhaps he has been mistaken.

01:00:58--> 01:01:13

And that man, whom the Prophet sallallahu Sallam had sent to investigate, he got really upset about this that What do you mean, I've been mistaken? Right, this is this is reality and the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he knew that this was true. And so he ordered that the people prepare for another battle.

01:01:15--> 01:01:24

Another battle, and that is what they did. 10,000 Muslims were already there. Right? They had come for the Fatima 2000 people from Makkah got ready.

01:01:25--> 01:01:37

And these 2000 people who were there, they were people who had been Muslim for a long time who were still in Makkah, or they had just now embraced the snap. And it is said that some people went along, even though they were not Muslim yet.

01:01:38--> 01:01:45

But they went along with the Muslims in defense of Makkah in their animosity against to the people of thought.

01:01:46--> 01:02:02

He understand. So this is what happened. Now in a Buddha what we learned so far and and omega, he said that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu Sallam borrowed coats of mail from me, on the day of her name, and so forth. And Buddha said, I asked, Are you taking them by force?

01:02:03--> 01:02:11

Are you taking them or are you borrowing them? And the prophets, Allah Lawson said, No, it's a loan, and it will be returned in full.

01:02:12--> 01:02:18

This is a fine with me at this point was not a Muslim. Alright. So on the sixth of shall, well,

01:02:19--> 01:02:20

Ramadan,

01:02:21--> 01:02:23

you can imagine how their aid must have been.

01:02:26--> 01:02:44

Right after a busy Ramadan. I mean, you know, it's amazing when a lot comes we want that we should be off from work, we should have no classes. Right? We should have no commitments. We should have a completely free schedule so that we can fast and pray and recite Quran in peace.

01:02:45--> 01:03:09

This is the eighth year after hidrive look at the Ramadan of the Prophet sallallahu sallam. He's going for a Fatah. He goes to Makkah for the conquest. And then so many issues he had to deal with over there. He is barely over the eighth of chawan and chawan. The first few days people are fasting anyway. Right? So the eighth of show while the Prophet sallallahu Sallam he left for her name.

01:03:11--> 01:03:25

Why her name did not live her name is close to five. Why her name because the people have thought it had already come to her name. And they had said camp over there. So basically, they had chosen the battlefield, the people of five, and they were ready waiting for the Muslims to show up.

01:03:26--> 01:03:53

Now, their chief, the chief of the people have a thought if he had them bring along their families, their women, their children, their animals, their camels, their goats, their sheep, their everything. Right, he said, whatever you have bring it with you. So the valley in which they were camped, you know, the sound of children and animals it was everywhere. Okay, why did he do this?

01:03:54--> 01:04:38

Even though one of the elders criticized him for that he said you were putting your wealth and your family at risk. Right? Why did he do this? Because he wanted to show to the Muslims that we are determined. We have brought our families and our wealth with us, we are determined to fight you and defeat you, we are going to take over you. And also this was a way of making his people firm, that do not run away. Do not flee at any cost. Because if you run you're leaving behind your property, so fight until the very end fight even if you have to die. So this was a trick. Now how many Muslims were there? 12,000. And this was the largest army that the Muslims had ever had. Largest.

01:04:40--> 01:04:59

Right? Because how many Muslims were sent 3000 right at the Battle of 100, maximum 2000 Muslims were their maximum. Right. And now for the conquest of Makkah. 10,000. And now how many 12,000 so you can see within a few days, the number of Muslims

01:05:00--> 01:05:01

By 2000

01:05:02--> 01:05:22

now, and also they had many weapons, they had many camels, horses, and someone remarked that how can we be destroyed when we are so many? Now there was this feeling of we're gonna win this is going to be Piece of cake. It's gonna be so easy for so many. We've got everything we need. And remember there were many new Muslims.

01:05:23--> 01:06:01

So there was a sense of no being overconfident and the sense of pride and the prophets of Allah and reminded them to be humble, and that this victory doesn't come from your strength rather it comes from the help of Allah. So what happened? They were on their way. And it is said that on the way they came across a tree known as that Noah, right, and this tree was used by the Arabs to take Baraka from. What they will do is that in their journeys, they would hand their swords, their weapons on this tree, to seek Baraka. All right, this was something that the machine used to do. This is pre Islam, right. And when they saw this tree, they were reminded of what they used to do.

01:06:02--> 01:06:11

Remember, there are many new converts. So they asked the Prophet sallallahu sallam, why don't you appoint for us a tree or something like that also, so that we can take Baraka from that?

01:06:12--> 01:06:33

And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, Allahu Akbar, you have said the same as what the people of Musa said to him. Kalia Musa Jelena 11 Km Allahu, Allah, a point for us an idol just as they have idols. Because remember, when they cross the sea, right, they came across the people who were devoted to their idols, and the money's right, we're so impressed by that. They said, We want to do the same thing.

01:06:34--> 01:07:12

So anyway, all of these incidents they show to us that even though the numbers were many, there were some weakness of faith. Right. Now what happened, the Muslims reached at night, where this particular valley where the horizon enthalpy headset camp, now wasn't the leaf, they were very intelligent, what had they done, they had concealed their archers at mountain tops. So the Muslims are in the valley. All right, and their archers are at the top of the mountain, but hiding, so the Muslims wouldn't see them. All right. And they had a small group of fighters at the end of the valley.

01:07:13--> 01:07:47

And their plan was that this small group of fighters and Muslims are going to see them and they're gonna come forward to fight them, when they will come forward to fight them, we will launch you know, arrows at them from the top, alright, and then what will happen the rest of the army of the enemy, they will come and they will fight the Muslims. So the Muslims will be attacked from the top, and also from the sides. But because the Muslims would not be expecting any attack from the top, this would create chaos and they will flee. This was their plan. And this was their only plan.

01:07:48--> 01:08:18

Their only plan. So what happened? That's exactly what happened. The Muslims came, they saw in the morning, they saw a group of fighters from the enemy side, they advanced towards them. And the archers, they started throwing shooting arrows at them from the top. And this caused chaos amongst the Muslims. And because of this, what happened, they began to flee. They began to flee. And we learned that so many companions even fled.

01:08:20--> 01:09:03

So many companions fled to Prophet sallallahu Sallam he was left with just a few Sahaba around him. In Buhari, we learned that Alabama, he was asked, somebody asked him, did you also flee on the day of her name? Because this is mentioned in the Quran, right? So when this man sees a companion, he said, Were you also one of those people who fled and you left the Prophet sallallahu Sallam in the battlefield? But he replied, Allah's Messenger said a lot of them did not flee. So he's not confessing here, okay? He said, Allah messenger sallallahu Sallam did not flee. The people of Hawaii Island were very good archers. When we attack them, they fled. But so when we attack the meeting,

01:09:03--> 01:09:30

those people who were in front of us they fled. So this was also a trick. All right, they fled, and when they fled, we pursued them. When we pursued them, we were confronted by the arrows. And this is something that created chaos. So the Muslims dispersed, they started fleeing. And under law, he said, I saw the Prophet sallallahu Sallam writing his meal, while Abu sufian was holding its reins. This is the cousin of the prophets of Lhasa, not it was the leader of milk.

01:09:32--> 01:09:34

There were two of us with hands.

01:09:35--> 01:09:45

And this was the cousin of the prophets of Allah. And he actually he is one of the people who came outside of Makkah and embraced Islam even before the prophets of Allah and reached middle of the Han. Alright, so anyway,

01:09:46--> 01:09:57

he was holding the reins and the prophets of Allah was saying, I am the Prophet, I'm not a liar, and I am the son of the Muslim. So he was saying these two things. I'm a prophet, and I'm the son of the multilit.

01:09:58--> 01:09:59

What is he combining over here?

01:10:00--> 01:10:10

I am the son of Absolutely. What does that mean? Basically tribalism here, right? That you're supposed to be related to me, don't run away from me, and I am the Prophet, you're supposed to believe in me, don't leave me.

01:10:11--> 01:10:53

You understand. So people who have a man, they will come because I am the Prophet, people who have weak faith, or who have not embraced Islam yet, they will come Why the sun or the moon, we have to go with him and our best of the law article he was sending over there. And he had a very loud voice. So the prophets Allah was telling him call out to the people. And so our best of the lower end, at the order of the Prophet settlements, and he called out and he called out each group of Muslims or unsought or Mahajan, tribe, after tribe, people after people or people have heard a via, right, these are the calls that he was making. And so one by one, people started gathering around the

01:10:53--> 01:11:15

Prophet sallallahu sallam. And what happened, the Muslims, as they were united again, they Calm down, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam guided them, and then they fought the enemy back. Now, at this time, there were some people who said some things which were unbefitting. So for example, the brother of software and said this. And he said, good today, the magic spell will be broken.

01:11:17--> 01:11:19

So now he's accusing the prophets of the loss of being a

01:11:20--> 01:11:24

magician. I mean, this has been going on for so many years.

01:11:25--> 01:11:28

Even today, even this day, he was calling him a magician.

01:11:29--> 01:12:07

All right, the brother of mine said this. Alright, and so when he replied, may God destroy all of your teeth. By Allah, I would rather be ruled by a Qureshi than a How was it? May Allah destroy all your teeth? Meaning may you never be able to speak? What are you saying? If this magic spell is broken, and Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam if he fails today? What does it mean? Who's going to rule over Makkah? Who's going to rule over Makkah, the people of Thai afraid. So that means we'll be ruled over by them. He said, I would rather be ruled over by a coalition meeting, even if he's a Muslim.

01:12:08--> 01:12:49

Even if he's a Muslim, even if he claims to be a prophet, I'd rather be under him, then under the type of housing. Anyway, I lost pounds on a sense Akina in the hearts of the believers as we learn in the Quran. And as they regrouped, what happened, they charged back at the enemy. And this time with faith in Allah, with greater motivation with trust in Allah. And what happened to her wasn't a thief, they basically fled, because remember, they had Plan A, they didn't have any other plan. Right. So when that plan failed, when the Muslims charged again, they had no plan. So they immediately they were immediately overcome, and as a hobby pursued them. Why? Because it was 20,000

01:12:49--> 01:13:26

of them, right? And 20,000 people, if they flee, even if you leave them, what are they going to do regroup and come back and attack again. So this haba pursued them. And this is where we learned several small groups were sent to fight each people. All right, and overall, Allah granted victory to the Muslims. And it is said that 6000 people were captured as prisoners. 6000. So imagine from the 20,000 6000 were taken in as prisoners, the rest of the people, they made their way to Cardiff, right? And they lock themselves up in life because life was wild. So they locked themselves up. Now,

01:13:27--> 01:14:19

there was so much wealth that these people had left behind in that valley, right, in the valley of her name, had left so much wealth because remember, they had brought in their children, their women, their animals, everything they had. So when all of this was gathered together, all right. 24,000 camels, 40,000 goats, and I mentioned to you already how many prisoners there were. Now all of this was taken to the valley of Gerald onna. All right, and the Prophet sallallahu Sallam had some people guard this entire booty that was brought in. And nothing was distributed. Nothing at all was distributed. It was kept in that valley. Now the prophets of Allah Islam had to decline if, right

01:14:19--> 01:14:55

because the people who wasn't to leave they had gone back to their city. All right. And what did they do? They lock their city up, they had walls. It was a walled city. And remember, inside they had everything they needed. They had food supplies, because they had rain, they had water, right? They had orchards, they had everything they needed. So even if the seat went on for a year, they would be safe, they would survive, and the city was well fortified. And previously, remember, the Muslims had fought against the hood, who would also fortify themselves in their fortresses. And so far, the Muslims had not been able to break through the fortresses at Hayward. They were successful,

01:14:55--> 01:14:59

but remember, even there, the siege it went on around several fortresses for 20 days.

01:15:00--> 01:15:22

Almost right. And eventually, the who'd had to surrender because they ran out of their supplies. Here, they had no shortage of supplies. And it was a whole city that was wild. So during this time, the Muslims had, you know, dealt with the who the profits of the loss of them had sent some Sahaba to different places to find out, how do you break through these walls?

01:15:23--> 01:15:31

All right, so the Muslims have learned the skill of how to break through these walls. And what was that they came with three techniques. One

01:15:32--> 01:15:33

catapults,

01:15:34--> 01:15:37

the use of catapults. Secondly,

01:15:38--> 01:16:17

large battering rods. Right, you know, how have you seen those cartoons? Right, they're trying to break through the gates or doors of the castle. So large battering rods to break the doors, and also protective shells to walk under. So the Sahaba were really excited that said, we're gonna do this. They made a catapult, they had their rods, and they also had the protective Sheldon that tried to break through the walls, but it wasn't working. It wasn't working. Because the people inside there were constantly shower arrows at them, and the Muslims were not able to break through. So the prophets on a lot of them suggested that let's go back. Let's return, we'll deal with the people of

01:16:17--> 01:16:27

life later. At least we defeated them at the battlefield. We'll deal with them later. Why should we waste our energy over here. But the Sahaba were,

01:16:28--> 01:16:31

you know, they were excited about this, they wanted to take over, they didn't want to go back.

01:16:33--> 01:16:38

So what happened, another strategy was adopted and what was that their agricultural lands were set on fire.

01:16:40--> 01:16:43

This was like a threat that look we can destroy your property outside the city.

01:16:45--> 01:17:08

So when they did that, some people they came from thought if they sent were to the Prophet sallallahu, begging him, please don't do this. The Prophet sallallahu from strapless harbor from that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam sent a message inside the city, that whoever comes and joins us he'll be safe. Meaning if you come to us, we're not going to harm you just join us. So many people came. Another announcement was made that if a slave joins us, he will be free.

01:17:09--> 01:17:31

So many slaves came and joined the Muslims. But still, I mean, their population was huge. So what happened? Again, the seat continued for a few days, but it wasn't getting anywhere the prophets of laws and said, let's go back because remember, there was 1000s and 1000s of camels and goats and prisoners of war and property that was left to Giana. Right, and that had to be dealt with.

01:17:32--> 01:17:59

So what happened? The Muslims returned? the profits of the laws that have made the offer the people have thought if will Allah guide the people of Turkey, bring them to us? And that is exactly what happened. The Sahaba they returned to Makkah, he said after about two weeks of siege, they returned to Makkah. And when they returned, what happened? The prophets of Allah sort of distributed the war booty, the wealth, he distributed the war booty amongst the people.

01:18:00--> 01:18:07

All right. And he gave to the recent converts a lot of the booty.

01:18:08--> 01:18:24

Literally one man, he would give him 100 camels, 100 camels he would give him and especially the big, big names, he gave them more why this is known as the leaf will help to soften people's hearts for Islam.

01:18:25--> 01:18:26

I mean, you could say this was a bribe.

01:18:28--> 01:18:29

No, the thing is that

01:18:30--> 01:18:34

sometimes people need an incentive to taste the sweetness of Islam.

01:18:36--> 01:18:46

They need an incentive. Once, you know something becomes an excuse for them to come to Islam, and then they taste what Islam really is, then they won't leave it.

01:18:47--> 01:19:06

But sometimes you have to kind of give them you know, an immediate benefit, so that they would come for it. Because for them this change is very difficult. It's very difficult. This is just like if you want to take your child to a class and you say I promise, on return, we will go to the park.

01:19:07--> 01:19:14

Right for him. He's excited about going to the park. Right. But to go to the park, he has to first go to the teacher.

01:19:15--> 01:19:45

Right? And now once he starts going to put on teacher and he starts learning over there, he starts enjoying it so much that eventually you leave and forget about the park yesterday, this happened with me my son was not finishing his snack. All right. And what happened he wanted to do some crafts and he asked me for glue. I said finish your snack, and I'll give you the glue. So he said okay, and he started finishing a snack and it took him a while but he finished it and after the snack is like Mama, Can I have it? I'm like yeah, go get it. It's right behind the door. You can see it. There's like, No, no, that's not what I want it.

01:19:46--> 01:19:50

He completely forgot that he wanted the glue.

01:19:51--> 01:19:59

He was confused. He was confused. Literally he was confused and had to remind him and then his sister came and reminded him that Yeah, we wanted the glue remember

01:20:00--> 01:20:04

You want to stick your stuff that you caught? And he's like, Oh, yeah.

01:20:05--> 01:20:27

So you see what happens? Sometimes, as human beings, we need an incentive. Right? And when we are given some immediate benefit, then what happens because of that benefit, we attain something that is better. So that's exactly what happened over here. So many people the profits or loss in him gave them booty. And this news, it's spread outside of Makkah. Now people started pouring in from outside Makkah into Makkah.

01:20:28--> 01:21:01

We have accepted Islam at home, can we have something to and the prophets of Allah sent him give them he gave them now as he was giving, he gave to Abu sufian software and Romania. The people have a lot of fun he gave them he gave gifts to more Are we a full brother of Buddha has been his Sham the prophets of Allah gave him also, Mahajan. Also the prophet SAW the loss and gave them why because why did you ruin when they did Hitler, they left behind all their property in Morocco, right? So he gave them also. Now there was one group of people from the province that a lot of them didn't give anything to.

01:21:03--> 01:21:07

It was the unsought not even one penny.

01:21:08--> 01:21:14

All right, and the unsolved, they were feeling a little left out and they said, What's going on over here?

01:21:15--> 01:21:33

Right, and some of them they voice their feelings and the prophets on a lot of them when he found out. So I've been rabada basically came and told him and the prophets idolized him said, gather them together in the tent of so and so. And make sure it's only the unsought over there and the prophets that allows him asked him, What about you? What do you think he said, I'm one of the people who feel the same.

01:21:34--> 01:21:42

So that entire tent where the profits are the loss, and I'm asked the answer together, they were gathered up over there, and the prophets analyzed them, address them.

01:21:43--> 01:22:07

And he said, if all of mankind were to go in one direction, and the unsired, go in another direction, I would go with the answer. And he said, we're not for the digital, I would be from the inside meaning Yes, I was born in Makkah. But I am basically from the inside. Because I've left Makkah for Medina, I left my family for you. And I'm with you. Now.

01:22:09--> 01:22:41

He said, I give to some people, because I fear for their greed and desires. And I don't give to others because I trust what Allah has given in their hearts. What Allah has given them in their hearts, it has enriched them so much so that I feel they don't need all these goats and camels and money, they don't need it. They don't have any desire for that. They're content with the man that Allah has given them. I trust that what Allah has given them in their hearts, that fortune is more than what I can give them. So this is why I do not give them.

01:22:42--> 01:22:53

He continued, he said, the Quraysh are new to Islam, and I wish to comfort them by bringing them close to me. And then he made the call, he said, Oh Allah have mercy on the inside, and their children and their children.

01:22:54--> 01:23:07

And the Sahaba the inside, they wept so much so much at this point, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, Are you not happy that people go back with sheep and camels and goats, and you go back with the messengers that are long radiocentre.

01:23:09--> 01:23:14

And they cried so much. And they said, We are content with Islam, and we are content with you. You're a sort of Rasul Allah.

01:23:16--> 01:23:16

You see,

01:23:18--> 01:23:20

there's two types of people who serve the D.

01:23:21--> 01:23:25

One are those who will only serve if they get something in return.

01:23:26--> 01:23:31

It could be praise. It could be the hourly pay that they receive.

01:23:33--> 01:23:42

It could be, you know, this approval that yes, you've done all your work. And there's others who serve the dean because Dean is a personal matter to them.

01:23:44--> 01:23:53

And what they expect in return is the Adjust from Allah, they know that the paycheck they receive can never be, can never ever make up for the work that they do. Never.

01:23:54--> 01:24:04

So they don't count their hours and they don't count. You know, everything that because I work three hours extra, I need more money, no. Or they say that, look.

01:24:05--> 01:24:19

If I were to be doing this kind of work somewhere else, I'd be making this much money. So you also give me this much money? No, because they know that even if they get twice as that three times of that 50 times of that it can never ever be equal to the reward that Allah can give.

01:24:21--> 01:24:26

The Prophet sallallahu sallam, he considered the unsought, to be of those people.

01:24:28--> 01:24:38

Those who sacrificed whatever they had, they give their homes, they give their properties, they sacrifice their lives. They give everything they have for the cause of Islam.

01:24:39--> 01:24:46

So the Prophet sallallahu Sallam considered them to be free of greed for worldly wealth.

01:24:47--> 01:24:51

And this is why, just like he didn't take anything himself, he didn't even give anything to them.

01:24:53--> 01:24:59

And he said, aren't you glad that other people are returning with goats, with sheep with camels, and you're going with Rasul Allah

01:25:00--> 01:25:12

sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the Ansel were perfectly satisfied with this. Very, very happy with this. They were 100% content with this, that yes, we want reward from Allah. We don't want this kind of stuff.

01:25:14--> 01:25:58

Now what happened? The prophets Allah said him, he was a jerk Donna. And remember jianna is a valley outside of Makkah. And here the Prophet sallallahu Sallam when he was there. After a few days, some people from LA came, their delegation came. And they came and they said, We have accepted Islam, we want to accept Islam, can we please have our stuff back? And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, Look, I'm not the only one who decides over here, because it's been distributed, right? And all these people, you see, they were involved in this matter with me. So I can't decide for them. We're gonna have to talk to them about it. And he said, choose one of the two alternatives. Either you

01:25:58--> 01:26:41

take your captives, or you take the property, what do you want? So they discussed among themselves and they said, You know what, we don't want the property. We just want our captives back. So the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he requested the people to return the captives. And they did. So all the captives were returned to the people of thought if the people of thought if had also embraced Islam, captives also embraced Islam and when they dealt with the Prophet sallallahu sallam, and they saw that this man is not greedy, this man truly wants benefit from for everybody. So what happened? They went back to life and they had also embraced Islam. Now we see that maka, majority of the people are

01:26:41--> 01:26:58

now Muslim, but if majority of the people are now Muslim, and with all the booty that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam gave to the people, people flocked into the fold of Islam, Elijah and also the law, he was at NASA to Haruna de de la he F word

01:26:59--> 01:27:43

of wider in groups for sub behandelt, because the inorganica Weber, so what happened the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he was a German at this point, and he put on his arm, and he went into Makkah to perform. And this was the third formula in his life. Since he had left Makkah. The first terminal was heard a via he tried, he was rewarded for it, but the owner was not actually performed, but he was rewarded for it because he had made the effort. Second, Erma was promoted. And this was a third or more. And then after the aroma, the prophets have a lot of cinnamon returned to Medina. And in Medina again, many people came in to embrace Islam. And then basically the entire region was

01:27:43--> 01:28:17

surrendering was accepting Islam coming to the prophets on a lot of them taking by and then the next major expedition was the expedition to the book back to the Romans now, because now the power in Arabia had been destroyed right had been taken over. Now the bigger problem outside of Arabia, the Romans, now the next major expedition was against them, and inshallah we will learn about that in our next lesson.
