The history and context of the Bible is emphasized, along with the miscalculations of leaders and the miscalculations of the Hadees. The importance of shaping worship, achieving the ultimate peace and release, and human behavior and emotions is emphasized. The need for a multifaceted approach to society is emphasized, where individuals apply a wide range of strategies and consider their actions and past history. The speakers stress the importance of caution and guidance in implementing Islam's reform agenda and avoiding "weirdly shaping of Islam." Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa Salatu was Salam ala Rasulillah while early he was so happy woman Wilder Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah May Allah bless you all and your families, your loved ones. May Allah subhanaw taala protect you keep you in good faith and good health, Aloma, Amin, and may last for panel data keepers amongst those who are consistent in seeking nearness to him seeking success and growth, and seeking access, understanding and implementation of the Quran alone. I mean, I pray that you're all doing well. And we'll go ahead and get started in sha Allah today we have a lot to cover. In fact, we want to try to complete in sha Allah, the entirety of Surah new if we have the
opportunity, but a cloth
we left off last week with the conclusion of the previous Surah Surah to knowledge and we want to establish first very obvious link in terms of the consistent thread you see in Tagalog. So the continuation in terms of Surah to manage the end of it with the beginning of Surah Noor, you have a reminder from ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada and a promise as well, and a command Fidel whom your whole way Allah will help you love who Jana who love to you, I do, leave them with their amusement and their play with their arrogance with the rejection of the truth, until when these people are continuously rejecting every sign until they experience and encounter the day that they were promised. And that
is the day of resurrection. And so eventually it gets to a point where Allah subhanaw taala reveals to a messenger at times that a specific group of people have no hope, meaning they will never accept the truth. There is no basically persistence with this particular person or group. Obviously, this was at the time of specific messengers, this is not for us, we don't know about people's future so we don't give up on them. So Allah subhanaw taala speaks about the day that they were promised, sort of newer, gives us with the entirety of the Surah, from beginning to end, a description about one of these civilizations, one of the earliest civilizations that rejected the messenger rejected the
message of God until it got to the point where eventually it was revealed nobody else from your people, oh, newer, Ali Salam, nobody else will accept, nobody else will become a believer after this after the last person who embrace the truth and accepted the message of God after this. There's nobody else and this is from Allah subhanaw taala to Prophet newer, Allah, he said, and so leave them as well until the day that they are promised and that was the day of the flood and more importantly, and of course, more significantly, the Day of Resurrection leave them until they experience that they that they rejected, Prophet newer Hadees Salam is mentioned in the Quran 47
times 47 times reference meaning what there are many stories about or references to new Hadith Salaam and stories, glimpses into the stories of Prophet in your Hadees Salaam in different sort, throughout the Quran, obviously with Surah to newer from beginning to the end of the surah it's only about Prophet you're heading instead of unlike many other sorts of the Quran, where you have an entire long surah and a short passage about a messenger or a prophet who was Prophet new Halys. And and before we delve into the tafsir, according to many scholars, he was the first Rasul the first messenger, a messenger according to one opinion, the difference between a messenger and an OB is
that a messenger is given a message to call people to that specific message. So it has a specific shut er to it a specific set of laws, whereas a Nabi is generally a prophet who is coming to re establish the same message. This is one of the opinions of the scholars and Allah knows best. The question is, how do we know this? How do we know Prophet and Ali Salam is the first messenger because there were many historians, and in fact, many Muslim historians and even some scholars who held the opinion that there was a messenger before new Hadees Salaam. And that was Idris Ali Salam. And this is because of an opinion Allahu Taala alum that has no sufficient basis to claim that
Prophet Idris Ali Salam was someone who is also referenced in the Bible who came before new Ali Salam. But since we don't have that kind of strong evidence from the Prophet alayhi salatu salam or from the Quran, we don't have anything to prove that and in fact, we have some evidence that is to the contrary, so two pieces of evidence we can keep in mind. The first is from the Quran where Allah subhanaw taala says in or Hanaa uniqa Come out of Hanaa you know, neuron one Naveen. I mean, remember, we have sent the revelation to you, O Muhammad sallallahu alayhi salam, as we sent the revelation to newer and the messengers after him so new Halle, Islam is referenced first in terms of
revelations. The second is an authentic hadith that on the Day of Judgment, people will go around starting from them Ali Salaam and then to New Halle salon, asking them to begin the day of judgment to ask Allah please start the day of resurrection please intercede for us. Then the Hadith continues the people will come to newer Alia Salam Noah and they will say to him, You are the first Messenger whom Allah sent to the people on earth.
If Allah selected you as the first messenger sent to a specific nation, so they go to him to plead to him, and then he turns it down and moves on to Prophet Ibrahim Ali cetera. So based on these two evidences, we can see that there's enough for us to go with the opinion and to stick to the opinion that the first messenger Ali Salam is new. And Allah Subhana Allah knows best. Something else for us to keep in mind context of the surah before we delve into it and extract lessons, Prophet knew how to his Salam is one of the five olu lies Mimi's are also one of the five greatest messengers Allah allows me mean are also means the messengers of the strongest will the strong willed messengers.
This does not speak down about other messengers. This is actually from the Quran where Allah subhanaw taala talks about all allows them, the greatest of messengers and references are twice in the Quran, who are the five orderlies named Narosa so you have an order chronological order new Haiti Salam, Ibrahim Isola Musa de Salam, Risa Ali Salam Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, these are the five orderlies meet me also, before we delve into the surah one more thing in terms of the context. According to Iman, Bella, we don't have a lot in many of the scholars of tifosi. What had happened at this time was that there were righteous people amongst the village or
the society or civilization of new hottie salaam, very righteous people. And these righteous or pious people, they would be referred to for counseling, religious counseling or guidance or advice about different matters. So people would come to them and they would basically pay respects to them in terms of seeking their guidance on specific issues. And eventually, these pious people had passed away. And as the most pious of people have passed away, the people of the tribe or village realized that there was nobody amongst them left, who could give this guidance, the spiritual guidance to them. Furthermore, these pious people used to inspire and motivate the people of New hottie salaam
before the choosing of new Hadees left to come to them as a messenger, so they didn't know what to do. And now the devil here, look at this strategy, and I'm paraphrasing the story. Look at the strategy of the devil who sees an opportunity here, he sees an opportunity in that people are looking for religious guidance, and the religious people amongst them, the most religious had passed away. So it's as though he was thinking long term strategy how to misguide mankind or a civilization or an entire nation, long term, not short term, because the devil oftentimes works slowly and deliberately, may Allah protect us all. So he would go to the people who were sad about the death of
the righteous amongst them. And it says though, he whispered to them, that if we are to make statues or idols of these righteous men and women, perhaps this will be more pleasing to us in our worship, and will remind us of them, meaning when we see them, we will remember to worship we will remember Allah subhanaw taala. This looks like as a first step, a permissible one. And it looks like something people in the 21st century are not relating to, but there are actually a lot of relevance lessons extremely obvious ones, once we delve into the surah Inshallah, in terms of what's happening in society. So what happened here was, the people of the city or the village established this new
ritual or habit of building idols based on religious people who had passed away. And when they saw these idols, when they would pass by them, they would remember Allah so they would supplicate they would pray, they would try to be better people. So the first step was was to just build the statues resembling these righteous people, the seed of innovation and shift disbelief was already planted here. And the devil was patient. For this first group of people, the first generation who made these idols, they don't worship these idols. This was a slow and long game, a slow and long process, eventually, after a generation and another generation, another generation, a group of people from
amongst perhaps the great grandchildren, or thereafter and Allah knows best. It says, no, they will not connect it to the message itself of the worship of God. And when they would see these idols they would remember to pray as their forefathers had prayed. And some of them eventually based on the whispers and tricks of the devil began to actually pray to these idols to bring them goodness to make them better, and they would seek help from these idols. And so idolatry. idol worship became a thing at this point. Some of the scholars say this was one of the earliest forms of idol worship, if not the first in human history, and the process once again pay attention to it, righteous people
passed away and some people wanted to remember a law so they made idols to remind them of these religious people. It does not seem like the first step is a problematic step to some people who might not know any better or might not understand the tricks of the devil or how one door that's open can lead to a problematic Avenue a problematic pathway that leads to shirk and kufr and this can be applied as a principle in everything today. But if you are to open a
door when it comes to, for example, religious worship when it comes to rituals when it comes to character social interaction, social justice issues politics, when you open a specific door for people, be cautious because if you are not well versed in the tricks and traps or shape on, and the principles of Islam at the scholarly level, that door when it's opened may lead to many problems for future generations. And we might not see that today. We ask Allah subhanaw taala to protect us. Now we can say here that centuries perhaps passed by and Allah knows best. And then Allah subhanaw taala decreed for a prophet chosen from amongst the people to guide the idol worshippers back to the
truth. Today, people take matters very lightly in the 21st century in which people are trying to be spiritual, not religious, following no specific command of God, people are trying to take the benefits of religion in terms of the mental health benefits, the spiritual benefits the psychological, the social as well at times, but to reject without any humility whatsoever to reject the submission to Allah subhanaw taala. They don't seem to realize at times the influence that they have on the religious community on Muslims and Christians and others when it comes to that first stepping stone, that stepping stone that later on can lead to major sins, or innovations in worship
or even shift at Cofer. And this is exactly what we see today in many different types of isms, many movements, many social movements that are influential, or they're trendy at the time, sometimes for one to five or 10 years, and other times for several decades. So we have to be aware of the changing ideologies and how Shavon utilizes people and these trends in order to take away believers from the worship of Allah subhanaw taala. And from Paradise, we ask Allah subhanaw taala to protect us and to guide us and to make us aware and very intelligent and very wise in the strategies of the Devils of the jinn and the humans, we ask Allah subhanaw taala to protect us and guide us in our future
generations and to make us all a reason for people to remain guided and to be guided along. I mean, let's delve into the Tafseer of the surah Insha Allah, what we want to do so this is the context of the surah. The theme, the entirety of the surah is about Prophet knew how to use Sudan from beginning to end. And it's as though the one thing you want to remember, it's as though the people of flourish the Mexicans who are rejecting the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu sallam, the few of them amongst the elite, it's as though they are being reminded as well. Remember what happened to the people of New Orleans Salam remember what happened to them, when they as well rejected the messenger
that came to them. So period of Revelation. Some scholars say this was an early Meccan Surah, but not too early. Rather, it was at the point where the physical attacks perhaps had started or some of the verbal attacks had started against Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam and the companions the few followers at the time, we mentioned the link to soul automatic so this is a lesson and a reminder for people of reflection, we asked the loss of Hannah Montana to allow us to benefit from this
feel free to open your translation we'll go ahead and try to recite the entirety of the surah we'll see if we can finish it today in terms of the tifosi insha Allah I'll give you a moment to open your preferred translation clear quran.com or anything else that you prefer

Going back to the very beginning of the school, in Santa new Wuhan ILA pony and Europol meconium cobbly, to whom either Aleem Amasa Panatela is telling us that we have sent newer to his people. And it says though saying to him and reminding the people of Mecca at the same time warn your people before a painful punishment comes to them. And many authentic hadith tell us that new Hadith Salam again, the first of messengers sent it to his people, as sent to eight people. We don't know the limitations of that tribe, civilization society, when they disbelieved as email and Formula One law said it was a reason for all people who were alive because all people had rejected the message after
that, to be punished for it, meaning they all were rejecting the truth and those who are saved. We're only those who believe warn your people what is this referring to, and they're all Mecca warn them that the errors in terms of their morality in terms of their way of life in terms of their lifestyles, if they did not change them, as many people were doing later on at the time Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam refusing to change this would bring them a punishment from Allah subhanaw taala. So in other words, this person is telling you, I'm a messenger of God, here to warn you and also give you glad tidings, here's the warning, here's the proof, here's a miracle, here's a sign,
they rejected that sign, or they call me in neither community, you know, mobian he said to his people, I am truly sent to you with a clear warning. And in other words, I am a clear warning to you Mubi, meaning it is very clear, it's very obvious. You don't need really anything intellectual, philosophical academic to figure it out. This is obvious for all people, the messages of messengers are easy for people to grasp. The message of Islam is easy for people to grasp. The message of the truth is easy for all people to understand. So Prophet Muhammad said, I was telling his people, I'm a clear foreigner to you, it is very obvious that this is a clear warning to you. And what are the
three things that he was telling them about the three things that they were required to do? And arugula, verse three, and arugula, what? Who else? Worship Allah alone, and feed him and obey me meaning the message message that I'm coming with, and they are going to law WhatsApp who are clear on this is a formula for society. This is the formula of the messenger sent to their people. Worship Allah and be conscious of Allah, the worship of Allah meaning worship Allah subhanaw taala and nothing else. telkwa What who? Allah
taco means piety. So stay away from the things that will lead to a punishment. Stay away from the things that are immoral, stay away from lifestyles that are problematic. And the last part as for obey me, hon Allah what taboo welcome your own. This means the message that I'm coming with follow it. I'm not here except as a messenger of God. I'm not here except as a person who was chosen by Allah with a specific message. I want us to reflect on what some scholars have stated here, which is that repeated historical experience tells us that humanity will never reach up to a level of perfection or excellence that is determined for it or made for it, meaning we have the potential for
it by any means other than belief in Allah taking deep roots in the hearts of people in the souls of people in the lifestyles in politics and society. And that human life, generally speaking, will never rise to the heights to which it arose in the past, by any other means, except through this except through this formula right here. Worship Allah, subhanaw, taala, and arugula what's the whole wildly around, and that the periods during which this was attained by the will of Allah belief in Allah subhana wa Tada were the only true periods when humanity reached its fullest height in terms of their mental, moral and spiritual developments. In fact, we can say that such an attainment such
a lofty goal would have remained beyond any dream of realization, except for the fact that it did take place in real life, meaning this is something that people experienced in the past. And whenever humanity lost guidance, and leadership, coming from true believers coming from the communities, of the Ummah, around the world, nothing could see that after that from degenerate generation and losing, generally speaking, their moral compass. So it would lead to a type of social and societal destruction, which you see not only in morality, this is not about right and wrong alone. But you see the impact of good and evil on the mental state of people on the lifestyles of people on the
crime and oppression that people experience. And so it lost its values, its ideals, even its ability to be human in terms of people's interactions with one another and the way that nation states deal with one another. And it also sank into a type of ideological confusion and uncertainty, and a number of mental health issues due to that, as many studies have found today. All of this despite having achieved what progress when it comes to technology and other fields of venture, despite the fact that society is one at one of the highest, if not the highest points of social and material comfort in terms of what people have of wealth in many nations today. And we see all of this, and we
see that despite all that humanity has of the physical world of the material world of the dunya, which Allah subhanaw taala had permitted for them as a test for them. Humanity does not find itself or its heart rather and its soul at rest, or its soul in a form or a level of tranquility and its mind at peace and reassurance, because it is far from the objective for which it was created. And this reality not only explains, explains why the prophets and the messengers began with their, their call to believe in Allah subhanaw taala anyone would Allah when you read the Quran, and you read the stories of the messengers you find and your modem was one of the first things that they would call
their people to worship Allah subhanaw taala believe in Allah subhanaw taala but it also justifies the stress on this point by layer callers to Allah subhanaw taala and the efforts that they put in and the sacrifices that they offered in its cause. And even if the callers to Allah subhanaw taala are rejected, like Prophet know how to Salam or Prophet Muhammad SAW Selim, even if they are ridiculed, insulted God persecuted in some way, the least that should happen is that this belief should take deep roots in the hearts of the callers themselves, the believers themselves remaining, they're in their hearts until the end of their lives, which in fact, is the ultimate reward and true
reward for the efforts that they put in the difficulties that they go through and the sacrifices that they make. And the reality is, we find that all of this is explained to us already. The stories of the Quran are the stories of previous prophets and messengers. These are not just stories for the sake of fun. These are not just for storytelling effect. These are not stories, just to tell our children when they're falling asleep, the lessons within them deep within them at times, sometimes multi layered, multifaceted lessons can absolutely be applied today. If any Muslim reads the stories of the Quran or the prophets and messengers and assumes that this is very straightforward. It's only
for that people or that times is only for the people of Kadesh. They're misunderstanding some of the lessons of the stories. They're misunderstanding how to apply the lessons from that time today in the 21st century. And I mean today as an actually today, taking these stories and lessons and applying them today. January 2021. What can we do with the lesson
As from the story of new Hani, his Salam, he continues in his calling his people to the worship of Allah to their own liberation to their own true freedom. Because as soon as humanity at least until from the 17th century, up to today, as soon as humanity abandoned God and started replacing God with human ego and human desire, instant gratification, liberal philosophies of all types, as soon as they started calling for their own desires, their own rights, their own thoughts, in terms of what rights are, what morality is what good and evil are, as soon as they replace replace God in the public sphere, in politics, and social justice causes and so on and so forth. They lost the moral
compass and the legend and the key that would lead to success, as well as the very thing which leads to ultimate tranquility, ultimate peace, which is found only in fulfilling our actual purpose, yellow fever Lycoming the Rubicon verse number four, ALLAH SubhanA, Allah will forgive your sins, and will delay your end until the appointed time indeed when the time is set by Allah subhanaw taala when it arrives, it cannot be delayed local to tanaman. So he's saying to His people, Allah subhana, Allah will forgive yourself the lack of Mindanao because there's something interesting here Mendola we can can mean from your sins, or it can mean that your sins, the scholars who say that this means
some of your sins, meaning not all of them, if you're to believe in Allah, some of your sins will be erased. They say this means that all the sins that they've committed dealing with Allah subhanaw taala will be erased, but the sins the crimes they committed, they still have to be held accountable for them. So for example, if someone stole something, and then the next day they became Muslim, they should still return what they steal. So they still have to restore that right to the other human being or human beings that they violated. So we consider here the importance of considering people's rights. We consider here the importance of thinking about how to restore other people's rights as
Muslims as well. And also when people enter into Islam to remind them about any kind of rights that people have that should be restored in some way. And and then when you are clear, Camila agilely, Musa, ALLAH SubhanA will will delay your end until the appointed time and this is very interesting here. Allah subhanaw taala it is out of His mercy, and will have learned over him that he does not expedite and Hastin your punishment here in this world when gives you time to repent. If people were punished immediately, when they committed sins, we would find a number of us and a number of people around the world instantly punished immediately punished. That is if you accept these three things
and arugula what taco while earlier on you'll be given time to live in this world. And sometimes if you make mistakes, you'll have time to repent until the time that Allah has appointed for you in terms of your natural death in a gentle law he either injure you or when the time the appointed time of Allah subhanaw taala comes to you, you cannot basically nobody can delay if nobody can postpone it. This is the time that's fixed decreed by Allah subhanaw taala for example for sending down a specific punishment upon a group of people or a civilization or all of mankind, or for example the people of New Orleans Salaam. So in this regard the Quran at several places in terms of what Allah
has told us explicitly informs us that when Allah's punishment is decreed for a specific group of people, it's because he knows subhanaw taala they will not repent none of them after that will believe and after that they cannot be pardoned, meaning they cannot be forgiven after that they've already gone as far as they could go. And so now it's time for their punishment, which is before the punishment here after it's time for the punishment that they were actually mocking the punishment they were making fun of the punishment they were ridiculing really you think of punishment is gonna come down upon the civilization, they would mark the messengers who were sent to them. And we see
people with this type of arrogance and mockery towards religion and prophets, and even generally the Muslim community today we asked Allah subhanaw taala to protect us and to grant us humility along that
verse number five, all around being in need of how to homey lay, you know, one out or he cried out loud, and he proclaimed, My Lord, I have surely been calling my people day and night. I've been calling them starry night and they Leila wonderhowto. And there are a few things we can take from this that are interesting. Profit new honey Salam is complaining to Allah subhanaw taala. And there's a lesson here. Number one, it is permissible, and it is advised when you're struggling with something in life, you're going through a hardship of any type, a hardship at work, a hardship with your family, a hardship with a parent, a hardship with a loved one, a spouse, your children, when
you go through any kind of hardship, any calamity, any test whatsoever. The attitude of the believers should always be what I'm going to find my strength by calling upon Allah for help. I'm going to turn to Allah and complain to Allah Subhana Allah, Oh Allah, I am weak, so help me Oh Allah, I am weak and I am in need of your strength. I am in need of your relief. This is the attitude of the believer. So you're not complaining about Allah, meaning Allah has decreed for you. You're complaining to Allah for health asking him to help strengthen you. This is a type of shackle complaint that is proven
So in Islam, it is not a complaint about your other about your decree, which is a test and also a pillar in terms of our beliefs. The second lesson we can take from this is right here, no honey Salam is making dua to Allah subhanaw taala is completely to Allah. And he's saying something that Allah Subhana Allah already knows Allah Subhan Allah knows that no honey Salam is making Dawa, calling people to the truth. They are night Allah knows this and yet you are how the student takes the action, the effort of making dua calling upon Allah conversing with Allah, that action is important. Sometimes Muslims think well I ALLAH SubhanA already knows what's in my heart, Allah
knows my situation, you are still required to call upon Allah subhanaw taala and that's your relationship with Allah. There's a slicker your Salah as well a slim meaning a connection between your Allah, that's your DUA, that conversation and your effort truly matters. And Allah subhana wa reminds us as long as you call upon me, that's effort and you ask of me or you have hope in me, I will continue to forgive you. And I want to forgive you. Number three Nurhaliza begins by mentioning the night before the day. Even though most of the data that takes place takes place one it takes place during the daytime. And this is a reminder that the true color to Allah subhanaw taala. The
believer who really cares about bringing people to the truth does not rest does not wait until a specific time so the efforts are running. Even if you yourself are taking a short break, the efforts that you have put forth are constantly out there benefiting people day and night. And number four, the last lesson we can take here, thou does not stop calling people to the truth is not a one time thing. You don't attend a workshop that advises you on the art of dharma, for example. And then you give Dawa at one event and then you're done. Now it is a way of life for the believers that you want people to have the truth you want people to succeed. You want people to be in a state of
tranquility, ultimate success in this world, true success, meaning by Allah's definition, and true success in the next life eternally as well. And so Dawa does not stop, day and night, the call to truth and guidance must persist. And this call in terms of the obligation is upon the community at large, especially those who are able to those who might have a skill to support an organization, a campaign a cause in some way or even Dawa in your own individual life or with your colleagues, classmates, family and others and Allah Subhana Allah knows best. Now remember that newer Ali Salam, he's he's saying that Allah I'm making Dawa to them I'm calling them to the truth, day and night
constantly. How long did you have some call to his people? How long did he give Dawa for 950 years that's the that's the duration of Tao. That's not his lifespan. And it was reported there were a number of opinions of scholars about the age of new Hadith salaam, remember people back then live much longer than us from the earliest of human beings. It was reported from Lebanon bass, only Allah one. And he said Allah subhanaw taala sent a new Ali salaam as a Prophet when he was at the age of 4040 years old as the same age Prophet Muhammad slicin received revelation. And he remained amongst his people calling them to the truth for 1000 years except for 50. As Allah, Allah tells us, in the
Quran, many 950 years, calling them to Allah. And after the flood, he lived for another 60 years until the people increased in numbers and spread out. So the total here is 1050 years in terms of the age of new Hadees. And this is simply one opinion of many. And it seemed like it had the strongest evidence and this is why I quoted this one. But ultimately, Allah subhanaw taala knows best. Now when people hear that new Heidi Salaam and humans lived that long back then sometimes they're really shocked that this is the theological understanding of human beings going all the way back to the very first civilization meaning the theological in terms of what evidence is we have and
think about the shortness of life today because the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam also informed us that human beings at that time were bigger, taller, for example, at the mighty salaam was 60 cubits tall, maybe 9100 feet tall. And people continue to shrink until basically the final amount OMA Muhammad sly Salam, and then it remains like that until the end of times. So people lived longer physically, people were different. Biologically, we can assume there were some differences as well. And it's interesting to think about the shortness of life today 60 or 70 years compared to 300 400-500-1000 years of people of the past, it was reported that NS been Malik lonely alone, one
that he said, The angel of death, came to know honey Salam, and said, Oh, longest lived of the prophets. How did you find this world and dunya and all of its pleasures, he responded, I saw it or I experienced it like a man who entered a room with two doors. And he stood in the middle of the room for a brief moment. And then he went out from the second door, meaning you entered into one, one room through one door, and then you waited a brief moment that was your life 950 years, and then you exited from the second door and one of the common
theories on this, perhaps we can relate to this a woman, for example, we can imagine who had her son or daughter die at a young age. At another time, let's say 300 years old rather than living 900 years old. Her son died at the age of 300. And she was saddened and shocked and then informed. If you think that that's sad. Wait till you hear about a group of people who will come from the final generations, they will live between, for example, 60 to 70 years old. The average lifespan today in many countries, is around 70, Allah Tada, Anna. And if we think about this today, we cannot really Fathom and imagine the difference between 70 and 370 and 900. But we can say What's that if new or
highly silom thought of this life as entering through one door and walking out the second, how about for us, and there was an opinion, a commentary on this as well about the response. Perhaps these people will come the last generations perhaps they build their graves, they dig their graves, right where they live, meaning that their life is so short, that they are likely to be burning themselves constantly burning people constantly. We ask Allah subhanaw taala to put Baraka in our time in this world and to make us productive with the short amount of time that we have, we ask Allah subhana wa TAs to pass the test of this world Aloma in verse number six. Johansson, I'm saying I'm calling to
them constantly. Fellow music whom do I interfere on my calls to the My Dawa? To them my advice to them is only making them run farther away from the truth. And that is as I went on, calling them calling them calling them to the truth they was fleeing farther and farther away from you. And that's what arrogance does. They are not just ignoring it, they are actually fleeing further from it. What is what is the point here? Arrogance can push people to do the worst of things. For example, when someone who is arrogant is questioned in public or is
addressed in some way in terms of a critique and advice. They might even double down on their mistake. They might even double down on their sin or their crime or their arrogance. And this is exactly what pride does. When we see this as Muslims we should be aware, we should be cautious. We should protect ourselves mentally, emotionally, spiritually as well that we don't want to be the type of person who doubles down on something when advice comes to you. Accept the advice some people Subhanallah today apply the same strategy and mentality of these people have no Hadith salaam, even though this person today might be a Muslim, meaning what she's advised or he's advised, and then
what's the advice backfires, not because of the etiquette, maybe the etiquette was gentle. Maybe it was wise, maybe it was kind maybe it was in private mode because of her arrogance, or his arrogance, behind the scenes, obviously, internally, they double down on their sin. And they might even say, don't tell me what to do. I don't like when people tell me what to do. I don't like when people tell me to to obey this or to do that or to follow this command or that I'm doing something wrong. Don't judge me. And then what did they do, they double down on it. And they may even go online on social media and start posting about how angry they are, that someone advise them of something religious
Subhanallah take the advice and move on. Even if the advice is coming from someone you don't care about or don't even know, take the advice, ignore it if you want, but don't even and I'm not advising to ignore. But don't, don't double down on it. The fact that you have to know double down means there's a level of arrogance as well, that Allah subhanaw taala out of His mercy put someone in your path, even if that person is a troll, even if that person's etiquette is terrible, at least that person delivered to you something that is of benefit to you. But instead of looking at the beneficial part, you looked at the person and you got angry, your ego became inflated, and you
rejected the message and you double down on your sin May Allah Subhana Allah protect us all. A small amount of pride can destroy a green amount of faith, a small amount of pride can blind people from that which is very obvious. And brothers and sisters are a gentle reminder here for myself and everyone here. When someone posts anything on social media, along these lines along the lines of Do not judge me attitude. don't advise me attitude, that type of attitude where they assume that in Islam, we don't give advice gently, humbly in private, so on and so forth. This type of mentality when it's publicized, and somebody is basically doubling down on their sin and saying, well let me
live how I want Don't tell me to pray. Don't tell me to wear hijab, I do whatever I want. When someone does something like that, and they post online and they're seeking validation for it. May Allah protect us all from being amongst those who agree with it by liking it, retweeting it and sharing it, supporting it, commenting on it, encouraging them to double down on their sin. When your brother and your sister post something online and clearly they are doubling down on something wrong, where they have the wrong approach to advice in Islam gently and wisely figure out a way if you're close to them to bring to their attention something better rather than liking it and facilitating
this and you're not judging me attitude is problematic doubling down of arrogance that spreads today due to liberal philosophy is due to secularism due obviously to the
sensitivity. In terms of the discussion on religion, I'm not advocating for us to be harsh, no, that contradicts everything we've been calling for. But I'm saying that when people go to that same extreme of doubling down with Kibet with arrogance with pride, may Allah Subhana Allah protect us from being supporters of that law, rather, we are supposed to call them towards the truth. And if that means not liking that status, not commenting on it, not retweeting it, then do so if it really means remaining silence because you don't know them well enough, that's better than what's encouraging that thing to show up on more people's feeds. May Allah subhanaw taala utilize us for
what its height and allow us to also be wise and gentle and strategic, diplomatic with how we bring people towards Allah subhanaw taala towards the truth Hola, Miami. And this reminds us about arrogance in terms of, or rather, not just arrogance, but the reactions of people in terms of your efforts. If you have ever volunteered for anything, if you've ever volunteered for an organization, if you've ever worked on a project, if you ever called people towards something good. It's important as a believing Muslim woman, Muslim man to recognize that your part, your role is the sincerity and the effort, not the result. I know that generally speaking, we're living in a result oriented
society that we want results, results, results, goals, goals, goals, you are not successful unless you've accomplished that result or that goal. And of course, generally speaking, we try to accomplish these goals, we generally want to do that. But the goals are not always in your hands. There are things outside of your control at times. So focus instead on your commitment to sincerely sincerely towards Allah. And number two to the process. So giving Dawa day and night for 950 years. Some people might assume, for example, that Sao Paulo, maybe 1000s of people became Muslim because some people in our lifetimes due to their efforts and sincerely and Allah's blessings. 1000s of
people became Muslim because of their efforts. And that's amazing. But that's not how you measure success. You can be successful and no one might know your name, no one at all would recognize who you are, you can be successful, successful in the sight of Allah subhanaw taala with massive rewards, but the effort you put in was what you focused on you did not see the results. And there are people brothers and sisters, we all know that who started the efforts and they put in the process the foundations of something they did not live to see the results, the results some of us are experiencing today. So focus on the process commit to a process of Dawa sincerely for the sake
of Allah subhanaw taala and that process of sincere Dawa for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala utilizes wisdom strategies, accuracy, effectiveness, working with people cooperating, obviously doing so in the most efficient manner possible. But don't constantly measure your success based on results. Because these things are not within your control. You do your part and you leave the rest to Allah subhanahu wa, verse number seven, know how to use and I'm saying every time I invite them to the truth to be forgiven by you will it'll feel alone. What do they do? They put their fingers into their ears or they cover themselves with their clothes. Some scholars say this means they would
cover their faces so they wouldn't be recognized and they would persist. They would persist in their denial and they would be very arrogant. What are solderable westech? Low stickman are two of the main reasons people don't accept the messages and signs of God that are very obvious two of the most clear and consistent signs we see in the Quran. The two traits are arrogance and stubbornness. May Allah protect us from any amount of stubbornness or arrogance, or small amount of it again, can damage a lot of faith can blind people from what is right in front of them. So when the Prophet Nurhaliza them saying, he told them that you might forgive them. This means that they might give up
their attitude of Kufa disobedience, and they would ask Allah Subhana Allah for forgiveness, this is the only way for them to be forgiven, is no Hadith and I'm calling them towards something personal, like this isn't my product or my goal or my business? No, he's calling them to worship Allah subhanaw taala for their own sake, little pharaoh now, even when people are calling towards that, which is good if you have a group in society who will always reject even though it's in their best interest, they would cover their faces run away from new holiday cinema, and sometimes they would cause problems for him. Sometimes they will try to avoid being detected. And this is the same thing
similar to what the people of Mecca the Qureshi is used to do with Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was stuck little sticky, mono, they were arrogant with a severe type of areas. What does this mean? This implies that they thought as people think today in the 21st century, that it was below their dignity, their level, this their status in society, to bow down towards Allah or before the truth and to accept the advice of the messenger that was sent to them. For example, if you were to advise someone, there's something he's doing is wrong. Maybe he's wearing something inappropriate. Maybe he's being immodest and so on and so forth. And in response when you advise
them for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala again about something clearly wrong that they're doing. This person shakes his head at you or he insults you. He walks away with arrogance, thinking what what kind of person are you to advise me Who do you think you are? This is a type of rejection with Eric
This is rejection of the truth with Aryans. And that manifestation brothers and sisters we see today in all different forms online and offline, when people are advised invited to the truth and even as Muslims advice to do something that some people respond with what a type of arrogance, sometimes major, sometimes minor. May Allah subhanaw taala protect us. What if you don't respond? What if we're talking about just the internal thought process that you have the way that you've conditioned yourself to think and the level you're at spiritually and psychologically, emotionally as well in terms of maturity, that you read something on social media, and it is, let's say, objectively good,
it's actually a good advice for you for your situation. And instead of taking it internally, you think, I don't care about this, or who is this person, I don't care about this type of stuff. And you walk away from it, you close it, you ignore it, you go to something else that encourages your sin, and you watch it for 10 minutes, five minutes, three hours, and you encourage yourself what to indulge in that you find yourself benefiting from a harmful environment or social media page or social media app. And when it comes to a reminder of truth, that Kibera kicks in and it's a thought process subconsciously, you reject that message me or loss of Hannah to Allah, protect us may Allah
subhanaw taala guide us may last pantalla forgive us, along with me, verses eight and nine. Your honey Salam says some are in need down to home jihad to me from Ireland to the home was sort of Tulum, Israel, and then I certainly call them openly. And then as well, I surely preach to them publicly and privately, I want us to consider here in verses eight and nine, that there are different modes of Dawa, and they are all crucial, you're utilizing different strategies. And this is important, not just in terms of data, but any type of impact you want to have on society in terms of reforming society, reforming the world, that you must utilize multiple avenues, multiple
platforms, multiple strategies, multiple individuals, multiple target audiences, when you are trying to create, for example, a coalition of impact on the world coalition of Dawa and dua, students of knowledge and others, or something to address a specific social justice cause there are many avenues we can take. And so for example, if someone were to say the only avenue I'm going to take is to create petitions, great that may be useful in some cases. And perhaps there are precedents in which person is in which the petition was useful for something in some capacity somewhere. But we're talking here about a specific cause. And if you care about the cause, and reforming society for the
better, whether you're volunteering for a local organization, or you're thinking about raising your children who are going to reform society, or you're you yourself are giving Dawa in some capacity, and so on and so forth, or you want to understand politics better from the Islamic paradigm, it's important for us to consider multifaceted approaches, some Muslims when they're still early in their pursuit of knowledge. And this is a very common Subhanallah trend early on in the pursuit of seeking knowledge, they become very excited, and very passionate, may Allah reward them for their sincere intentions, they become passionate and excited about stories of the past, or dua to give down in a
specific way, maybe the time of the Prophet slicin, and maybe later on in later generations. And sometimes they make the mistake of focusing on only one mode, or one strategy of Tao, which sometimes if you apply it in a specific place will even backfire. Sometimes it's unsuitable for the audience. And in the context of what's happening today, social media online and of course, offline as well, we find that there are a lot of different forms of Dawa, that could backfire. For example, there are times in which a Muslim die or diarrhea is to be a little more firm, a little more stern with people in some cultures, that's advice that's recommended or one will follow the along at times
was very stern in his approach, and that was known in the culture then meaning in terms of remodel the alone one. Whereas today, someone will take this out of context. And they will take it as the only mode or only strategy of data that they have. Their reputation is built upon what harshness that I am the person who defended the truth and calls people to the truth with harshness, because people are all sensitive and too compassionate and too politically correct. So I need to be the one who is harsh, I need to wake them up. And people need to stop being so sensitive. And of course, that person when they themselves are corrected, they become very sensitive and arrogant and they
exaggerate Subhanallah The reality is some people build their entire reputations, or Institute's or approaches or strategies or social media following on just one specific mode of Dawa that is sometimes sometimes limited to one context, one capacity, and we can take this principle and apply it beyond just Dawa to to general social reformations that you want people to be better mentally, socially, economically, religiously, in all aspects through the Islamic paradigm. So you must apply a multifaceted strategy, and that requires people to sometimes take a step back and think is the way that things have been done for the last 10 2050 years by my Islamic Center. My look
Under organization, the organization I volunteer for, is that necessarily the most effective strategy? Is there something better we can do politically as well? The strategies people have utilized in the past? Are they necessarily the best in this context? Let me reassess look at all options. And of course, this requires think tanks at times and a lot of funding in time. But this is something as Muslims we shouldn't be a part of, because we want the reformulation of society we want people to come back to this formula and our mooloolah What telco wealthy are and this is what brings humanity out of darkness and into light out of shackles and into liberation and freedom. That is
true liberation, that is true freedom. We ask Allah subhanaw taala to utilize all of us for that alone that I mean, now what was promised to the people of New Hadees Salaam and what was promised to nations generally speaking throughout the past, when they will reject the messengers, the messengers and the messages, verses 1011 and 12 are crucial for Muslims to apply today in your everyday life 1011 and 12 for all to start with Iran back home. He said, Seek your Lord's forgiveness in the whole kind of a photo he is truly most forgiving, constantly forgetting what is the end result of you seeking forgiveness from God and him erasing all of your past sins. You being a person of repentance
and humility and connection to God and reality. You want to see the Sunnah are they committed Allah he will shower you with abundant rain, where humanity can be unwound and He will supply you with an abundance of offspring and wealth way under Omnicom. Jannetty in ways I love him and how he will give you gardens he will give you reverse meaning what worship Allah subhanaw taala seek forgiveness from Allah subhanaw taala Allah will bless you not only in terms of your afterlife, but even here in this world. And sometimes this concept is mis applied and misunderstood by believers. Now throughout the Quran we find in a number of places, expressions that are similar to this, the some nations are
promised freedom, liberation, blessings in prosperity and in worldly things, if they were to leave their corrupt immoral ways of life, and they refuse and then they were punished. And contrary to this, we find that what if a nation adopts the way of faith and obedience to the Divine commands of Allah subhanaw taala instead of Cofer, it benefits not only in the athanor, but here in this world as well according to many opinions, and that generally speaking, the corruption in the world, the evil that spread in the world, that that comes with a lot of for example, diseases and oppressions and so on and so forth. A lot of that is linked to the evil actions of humanity. No hold on facade,
you feel badly one Ballymena, customer, ad nurse Llyod akamba, nonlinear AMILO La La mural, Allah subhanaw taala says corruption has spread across the lands and the seas meaning worldwide, corruption has spread across the world, because of what people have done, because of human activity and human agency. And in order to give them a taste a small taste of what they've done a small fraction, and the rest of it was forgiven and overlooked a small fraction of it as a harsh, difficult punishment in terms of the impact that has that evil impact that has on the world in order for them to come back to Allah subhanaw taala now know who we all do, and some people here will
double down on their sins and other people will come back to God. Some people become more arrogant, some people will find this to be a reminder, for example, the pandemic that we're experiencing, some people will use this opportunity to come back to the creator and submit themselves to the creator and find humility in terms of what they're going through and the pandemic, in terms of its impact on society, and other people will double down on their ways of life, ignoring the truth, ignoring God, ignoring reality, wasting their lives the way and wasting their afterlife as well. And Allah subhanaw taala reminds us whoever turns away from my reminder, when Avalon dignity for another
humanity shut on Wonka, when Yama, Yama, Yama, whoever turns away from the truth from my message from my correspondence to humanity will have a wretched life in this world. Does that mean only in terms of wealth? No, absolutely not. And this is why we say some Muslims misapplying aside, and they assume that if you have wealth, that means you're righteous, that means you're good with God. And that if you're going through hardships, that means you're a bad person or God is angry with you. But of course this is not the reality. There are Muslims who are rich and they are close to Allah subhanaw taala as we saw from the time of the companions, until today, and there are Muslims who are
struggling and they are dealing with illnesses, calamities, hardships, and struggles for many wisdoms meaning for benefits for them and blessings for them that they will experience in the next life and other factors as well in this world. And yet they are close to Allah subhanaw taala. And you have also people of evil people of Cofer, who are very rich and wealthy and have a lot of worldly things. And yet they are disconnected from God and they've rejected that message when it came to them. And you have people of evil who are homeless or struggling or poor, or going through calamities and struggles like Muslims as well. So the actual measurement here is not based on what
it's not based on your material wealth. However, a believer could benefit could have blessings in their lives.
Due to the righteousness it is one possible factor, and their struggle may also be a blessing for them. So don't measure based on what you have of a dunya. The true measurement, of course is your taqwa in a chroma can underlie at the most honorable, the highest status amongst you in the sight of Allah are those with the most God consciousness. So don't look at civilizations that are advanced or behind of the past or present, or any kind of study of civilizations and assume that that is a determining factor, as even to Allah says, Allah subhanaw taala might give victory and power to a nation of disbelievers run by disbelievers because they uphold justice for example, whereas the loss
of data might take away or is an honor from a believing people because they are not people on a justice. So you don't have one necessarily way one one measurement to take an apply to all things simultaneously. At the same time, we say brothers and sisters, that the blessing that is given to the believers in this world if it's not material, then what is it it is psycho spiritual. They psycho spiritual blessing means that you will have an easy life, a shorter longer, difficult life for the disbelievers an easy life is that which is fulfilling tranquility, peace, reassurance, so a psycho spiritually fulfilled life because you're connected to your purpose. But if you're not living
to that purpose and wondering why am I struggling, go back to the foundations of go back to the foundation of why you are here. Go back to your relationship with Allah subhanaw taala an easy life is not equivalent to a life of material comfort or wealth, as we see very commonly in the world today. What is the key here? The key to all of this is the phone. There's a story about an hacer la city, la Mola and they'll give you an action item in sha Allah before our break. Al Hassan Wasilla Hello, one of the great scholars, somebody came to the complaint about droughts in their in their village. They said we have a drought and our crops are dying, the people are starving and he said
seek forgiveness from Allah. So ask Allah for forgiveness is still followed and Toba for all your people. Everyone go and seek forgiveness from Allah. Somebody later on in the day came to complain about poverty. So they were very poor. And he said seek forgiveness from Allah. And somebody later on came to him and said that they were not blessed with children. And somebody else said their harvest had failed according to his story, and in many cases, a lot of his responses to questions were seek forgiveness from Allah. So eventually somebody asked him how is it that you've suggested to the to all these different types of people multiple times in one day, the same kind of cure the
same kind of solution for their problem, seek forgiveness Romo? And then he said Have you not heard the first civil law subhanaw taala and he recited these three verses right here. And on this no prophet Mohammed Salah license teaches us pay attention to this advice. It is life changing as well. But less evil is still thrown John alone whenever when Cooley neocon Maharajah will mean Cooley Herman Faraja, while Zuckerman hate to lay out as the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam said, Whoever seeks regularly forgiveness from Allah as a way of life regularly makes this the thought, a stop for Allah tubidy Allah forgive me, Allah forgive me all Forgive me regularly as a way of life. Allah
subhanaw taala will make for you from every difficult situation, a way out a solution or relief that you never imagined. And he will grant you from every type of anxiety, every type of mental anguish, he will grant you relief from it as well. And He will bless you from sources you did not imagine or expect. This is a promise from Allah subhanaw taala in the Quran, and through His messenger and in his Salatu was Salam that it could be a reason for your life to become better for you to prosper as well. Does it mean that you should pursue worldly things and become a person who is attached to a dunya? And so on and so forth? Absolutely not. But but it's still thought and repentance purifies
one's life and environment and home and relationships from anything that is what's causing or being a link to a type of punishment in their lives. It may be that between you and a blessing from Allah a blessing you really want something you pray for constantly between you and that blessing is one final barrier. One final barrier, a thin veil, and all that's left is for you to overcome that one sin you regularly commit for you to start implementing that obligation you've been ignoring in your life. May Allah subhanaw taala make us people is still for people regular and are still for a few years back. I was in Egypt for a live Ramadan TV show. And we spoke about the topic of is still far.
And this was a live show. So we would have like we had three or four brothers rotating at times as guests, and we would talk about different subjects every night. And subhanAllah. A story was sent to me through a private message months later about a specific family from Syria. This was years maximum, I believe was 2015 or 2016 years back in which a sister mentioned an elderly woman that in Syria, the area that they were in was attacked or bombed either by extremist terrorist the government and she said most likely it was the government at the time. They were bombed they had to basically flee. And this was at night so they started like basically running for their lives. The
family escaped that the building next to them the apartments, all of them were emptied out people running for
Are their lives so laborers all with one other, fleeing May Allah subhana make it easy for our brothers and sisters in Syria, in Yemen, in all Palestine all around the world lawyers all across Asia, Africa and all around the world alone. That mean, as they were fleeing, she said they were captured by a group of extremists and they were masked and they had no idea who they were. They did not seem to be Muslim. They never once did the reference anything about Islam. But they caught this family as they were fleeing, and they caught the sister. As she was fleeing, and they threw her in a room. They basically just threw them in this random abandoned place. And she could not leave and she
started crying, crying, crying, and making dua and crying and making you are wondering, is her family alive? What's going to happen to her now? Are they going to kill her is something worse going to happen? She doesn't know what's next. And she said at this point, this is when she mentioned why she she sent this message. She said we were listening as a family to the program that who the TV was broadcasting every night. And that was the Ramadan program. And the last thing that came to mind when I finally like stopped crying was about so far, the topic you guys had just discussed the week before. She said so I started making stuff out of knowing that it would be a source of relief or
solutions. And she said but I have part of me wondered how on earth in this situation? Am I going to be like freed from this is it my goal to to find relief, like what on earth will be my way out? But she said I made this the font I trust in Allah subhanho wa Taala a lot of is still far. She said she made perhaps 1000s of is still far until finally she fell asleep in that state making it still fall. And she was awakened by the sound of one of the extremist or terrorist or government assassins whoever they were this group opening the door and dragging her out and telling her to go. She didn't know why she didn't ask why she said I didn't turn around. I just ran for my life. And eventually
she realized her family was freed as well as they all fled. They were unharmed, they're reunited with one another and with some of their neighbors as well. They fled and they escaped and eventually they migrated to to Sweden, and they remain in Sweden. And this was years ago. Subhan Allah, she said the thing that I thought of was this telephone because of the stories we've heard because of the reminder from the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam, and Subhan Allah truly it came as a source of relief at that time, from a situation in which many people would consider one in which there is no way out. There is no solution but with Allah subhanaw taala the one who says couldn't find a goon,
there is always a way out. The one who says Be and it is can protect you guide you and relieve you of any type of hardship. Call upon him regularly seek forgiveness regularly. We are in need of it. seek forgiveness from Allah subhanho wa taala. So Prophet knew it his Salam is speaking to His people advising them this is what will bring you relief. You're living with a drought. Here's a solution. You're living in a desert. Here's abundant rain from Allah subhanaw taala, who will take care of you who will relieve you your sins are the cause of your destruction and your punishment and they rejected every message. They're rejecting his message, they're rejecting the message. May Allah
come later June Allahu Akbar, what is the matter with you that you are not in awe of the majesty of God, the Majesty of Allah subhanaw taala. Some human beings care about the impression that they give when it comes to other human beings when it comes to politicians, when it comes to rulers when it comes to people of influence or influencers in general. Some people care so much about their reputation or how they are perceived by a specific group of people. But when it comes to the Creator, and a loss of Hannah Montana, you don't care at all. You give dignity to people and assume that they have dignity and rights, in terms of how you treat them and how you respect them how you
fulfill the rights, but you don't expect and assume that Allah subhanaw taala also has dignity, you rebel against him, you reject his message, you associate others with his divinity, you disobey His commands, and yet you are not at all afraid that he'll punish you for your misconduct. You're afraid of people, you're afraid of worldly things and you're not afraid of the punishment of your Creator. subhanaw taala what are the holler Qualcomm, Eduardo 14, Allah Subhan, Allah created you and stages of development, how are you not in all of Allah and His Majesty, when He created you as human beings in stages of development and Subhanallah these stages of development were not even known clearly,
fully in detail to the people of know how they Salam. They were described in detail in the Quran to Prophet Mohammed Salah Salem and the people of Horatia at that time, and in fact, this is one of the things that's described in the Quran, that could not have possibly been known to human beings at that time. Think about the process on becoming a fully fledged human being. Allah subhanaw taala brought you to the present stage this is to the people of New Orleans are rejecting again, the message he's, they're being told, Allah brought you to your present stage after passing you through a number of different phases and stages of creation and phases of development. In the beginning you
lay in the form of specific forms of be careful with my words, in the loins of your father and mother and then the two of these forms were combined by the power of Allah subhanaw taala and you were conceived and that for nine months in the womb of your mother you are gradually formed
into a human being, you are endowed with specific capabilities which are needed to function or live in this world. And then you came out as a child from your mother's womb, and you are developed from one state to another constantly, until you attain that, let's say full youth and then an older age in some cases, and while passing through all of the stages, you completely were laying in the power of Allah subhanaw taala, depending upon it at all times, why Had Allah willed you would, he would not have allowed you, for example, to be conceived but allowed another person to be conceived in your place had he so wished you would not have been born as a living child, but you were these are
the people of newer again being addressed. And even after your birth, and lost a path I couldn't have caused something to destroy you or to take your life at a young age or to fall victim to something as an accident, or suddenly in terms of your environment. And yet Allah gave you the ability to live and to grow, to thrive, to have intellect and to now receive this message message so that you are Humbly accepting it from him, and about that God under whose power you are so powerless, how could you have taken it into your minds and into your ideology in this society, that you could commit severe disrespect against him or to mark the message that he sent to you because
it's for your mercy for your forgiveness. And you can regard him with every type of ingratitude and treachery, a violation of the right of the Creator, or to rebel against him, as and when you please and do all of this without any consequences? Do you will not consider what you're doing to be unreasonable to be arrogant May Allah subhanaw taala protect us and guide us brothers and sisters in these next seven if we have some of the blessings of Allah subhanaw taala that should cause all to people that should cause human beings generally speaking across the world to submit to the Creator things that we can all reflect on every single day, signs of Allah subhanaw taala we experience all
the time. What are these seven things here? First Allah Subhana correllian stages of development and then it's mentioned what Allah subhanaw taala created the seven heavens so if you look at the ayat we have right here from verses let's say 15 to 20 We started with the first of the seven and here are the seven of posts these in the chat for your own benefit inshallah. These seven things are mentioned in these is back to back. Allah subhanaw taala created you in stages of development, and then Allah Allah Tada, okay bahala Allah subhanho wa Taala or do you not see how Allah Cree the seven heavens one above the other so meaning what you have access to a an earth in which you can
thrive because Allah Subhana Allah created this universe for you, meaning this was customized for human beings fine tuned for our own existence. Verse 16. Wha Kamara Athena Nura. windjana Shem says in order to blessings here, he placed within the heavens within them a reflected light of the moon and the sun as a radiant lamp. Verse 17, Wallah who better communal or Lena better Allah alone caused you meaning your father, the mighty salam to grow from the earth like a plant meaning he gave you life and you are composed of the things of the earth, so you can thrive in it, meaning you can live upon this earth in terms of its surroundings, the environment, your DNA, your chromosomes,
whatever else you need to thrive, ALLAH SubhanA causes you to grow like a plant, meaning you are nothing, there was a seed and then you grew number 18 through my URI, you can see her while you're hungry to call me Raja, and then he will return you to it and then simply bring you forth again so you will die in that very same earth that Allah created you from and Allah will also resurrect you from it and you'll be resurrected upon this earth. Number 19 wala Hoon Giada De como algo de Soto and Allah alone spread out this earth for you for many blessings amongst them one of these blessings verse 20, liters loco minha, su Bolin fija to walk along it's spacious pathways meaning a lot of
places for human beings to be able to walk, to be able to experience are able to build for civilizations to thrive. And of course across the world, we see that this is the case today. All of these are blessings from Allah subhanaw taala. And these are simple, straightforward, but yeah, they are powerful and weighty blessings, Allah subhanaw taala that nobody could ignore, meaning what you can explain these seven to a young Muslim child and they could understand the blessings that we are describing. They can understand how important they are, that Allah subhana gave us the sun and the moon as well and the blessings that we have from both Allah Subhan Allah is the One who created us
from this earth and the one who will return us to it. Allah Subhana Allah is the one who made the heavens sustain this earth in terms of our experiences on it, and spread out the earth for us so that we can walk about and explore and how the civilization all to pass this test to connect with him. Subhanahu wa Atana how often in our daily lives do we reflect on these seven? How often you reflect on the blessing of what being able to move about, especially during this pandemic when many people are confined? How often do we think about the spacious pathways that we've always had access to? Or thinking about the spreading of the earth it's not to one little island for all human beings
until the enough times you have many lands that people are living in and many unexplored places as well. How often
And when you walk outside, if you walk outside, you notice, for example, the sunlight and then do you think Subhanallah, if we were like, a few miles farther away from the sun, or the sun was like this, or there was no sun, we would not be able to live on this earth. Allah subhana customize the sun for us and the moon for us and the earth for us. Do we appreciate this? How can we then turn away from them? How can any human being today ignore these obvious overwhelming signs of God? And so these people are being reminded? Now, when you think about some of the discussions in science and cosmology, and physics, biology, the specifics of genetics and DNA, and so on, and so forth, and it
leads us to the philosophy of science, you have a number of people who are arrogant, and they will have all of these evidences in front of them, because they are studying them and teaching them and so on and so forth. And still, they are not seeing how obvious it is that these things work precisely fine tuned, and they are astronomically precise, very precise, to the extent that if some things were changed in the laws of nature, in some of the constants that we have, the universe as we know, it could not exist. And this is something that is known to cosmologists, and students of physics and so on so forth. How can you ignore the overwhelming evidences. And as as Muslims, we as
well should, number one, be benefiting from these reflections. So we should be thinking of these things and saying hamdulillah for everything, thinking about the Majesty of Allah, think about his power. When you see these things, when you think about the earth, when you think about the very ground you're on right now, the piece of furniture you're sitting on the place that you're in, as you're listening to this lecture should be a reason for us to reflect on Allah subhanaw taala. And to think about the earth to think about the stars in the sky and the Universe, the the sun and the moon. And to utilize all of that as a means of becoming more humble. This should humble us and yet
in society, people are becoming unfortunately, more and more prideful and arrogance. May Allah subhanaw taala protect us. So verse 21, pay attention here because now the story we're going to delve into it
on a new hole rugby in the home also, what terbaru manlam Yazidi women want to do in law Hassan so Johan so cried out, in other words, he's making a dua here, yeah, Allah, they have certainly persisted in disobey me and followed instead, their elites, their chief, those people whose abundant wealth and their children only caused them to be increased in Lost why, why they increase the loss here, because they are looking at what they haven't seen, well, we're well off. So therefore, God must be happy with us or they're thinking we're well off what do we need from you, that you're not giving us anything that we don't already have? Because they're thinking what's in terms of dunya
they're thinking that they are in control of dunya. So notice this the first thing a beautiful, a beautiful lesson on other advocates with Allah, new Khalifa himself rhombi in whom are solely Allah, they disobeyed me look at the magnificent character yet Allah the magnificent character of new Hadith salaam, with Allah subhanaw taala he's not saying y'all are they disobeyed you. He says, Oh, they disobeyed me. My message, my efforts, he's attributing the fact that they are disobeying their disobedience to his own efforts. Subhanallah rather than blaming it, or rather than connecting it to Allah subhanho wa taala. Think about the etiquette you have as well when you speak to Allah subhanaw
taala. When you pray, when you do different acts of worship, do we have etiquettes with Allah? Now it was the wealthy class that acted arrogantly towards no Hadees. And I'm in short, just like the wealthy class, some of them not all, of course, at the time of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi salam, why, because they thought they had something to lose. And they thought they gained what they had because of the blessings of God or because they were good people. And I want us to think about the wealthy class as well today around the world, in a very different society, a different structure, a different setup, you have the advent of neoliberalism and different systems of
capitalism, competing with, of course, different strands of social systems and social contracts and government administrations. So these people who were arrogant and rejecting your heart, Islam, were advising the people that they influenced, who are they, they were in that case, the poor people in society, they consider them the rich, they consider these people to be the lowest class, that they should not dare in any case, abandon the idols that they were worshiping. Don't you dare do that. And why would they listen to these people because they were influential, because they had money, they had power, they were at the top of the political spectrum, or they put a political hierarchy.
So the most miserable and desperate amongst the people of know how to set up when they heard the message of no honey cylinder message of worship one God alone, they found hope in it, they found truth in it, their football was was kicking in why they were not distracted by and also tested with a worldly blessing. Sometimes brothers and sisters, some of us pray for a lot of wealth, or you pray for a worldly thing. But if you had that thing, perhaps that would also be the very thing that would distract you or stop you from worshipping Allah subhanaw taala. And we see this all the time. That test is a well, to have a good job is a
Test to have a good comfortable lifestyle is a test people become distracted and attached. And they would have more biases more reasons not to what let go of certain things. Now, the people who were not tested with wealth and they were very poor, in terms of their material possessions, they heard the message and right away they knew is the truth. So they embrace the message of Islam. Even though there was no monetary incentive, it's not like you're going to now find wealth in Islam, it's not like you're going to find you're going to be paid something from becoming Muslim. No, they knew it was the truth because they were not attached to anything else. They were not finding themselves to
be arrogant, holding on to their status, elite status, the 1% of 5%, or 10% of the people have no honey snap, just like as we experienced today with many people have a lot of wealth, or they're living in countries that are considered politically or militarily stronger and economically than other countries. So they think that they are already in a good position they are and they are distracted by the very blessing that Allah subhanaw taala allowed them to have in this world that it ends up being worth for them, they turned that blessing into a source of punishment and misguided SubhanAllah. So the affluent people, the rich people who are looking with rage with anger, and they
said to know how Islam as now some of these people are embracing Islam. They said, We see you only like a man like ourselves this this is all from the Quran, I'm paraphrasing the stories from different sources, all in one place here. So they're saying you're just a human being like us Prophet newer Hadees Salam informs them that if if the earth was filled with angels, then Allah would have chosen an angel to be a messenger. But Allah chose the human messenger because the Earth is predominantly by humans. And the message that's being sent and delivered here is to human beings. And this is a reminder for people who try to evade the truth or they try to basically find a cop out
from the discussion, accept the message, focus on the concept of the message, focus on the the evidences that prove that this is the truth from God. One day, some of the wealthy people of that village or tribe or civilization, approached off a new hottie Salaam and said to him, Listen,
if you want us to believe in you, then then dismiss the poor believers that are following you dismiss these people who are the low class, because we are the elite, we are the rich, and there's no faith that can include both of us the rich and the poor. Look at the arrogance that they have. Now they're trying to bargain. So there's a level here of negotiating because first they rejected it. They saw what people are entering into this faith and you have Eastlands becoming influential, just like the people of Quraysh, the Mexicans as well. They first rejected it. And then when they started noticing people embracing Islam, they said, You know what, we are the elites. We are the
chieftains. We have all this wealth. You know, if anyone if anyone were to enter into the space, there should only be the rich, it should only be people like us. And one of them would say you want us and our slaves to be the same you want to us and the poor to be the same meaning on the same playing field in front of God. Yes, that's what Islam does. It liberates people from their own self worship their own, desires, their own egos, and liberates them what to Allah subhanaw taala is consciousness meaning what God consciousness Tafawa the proper implementation of the objective of life, new Haile Salam had to explain to them, that there were their material wealth was worthless,
insignificant in the sight of Allah, meaning in terms of your status, and it was within your heart, what you had internally of Taqwa. And of course, your deeds, your hammer, if you utilize that wealth for something that that's great, that really matter to Allah subhanho wa taala. So he said to them pay attention to this message, and I'm paraphrasing here the ayat of the Quran, he responded to them, oh people, my people have called me and remember some of the prophets with color people like this, oh, my people like we I am one of you. He said, I'm not asking you for any wealth. I'm not asking for any money, my reward is from none other than Allah subhanaw taala. And I'm not going to
drive away, push away the people who have believed, even if you consider them low, I'm not going to push them away, they are going to meet Allah subhanaw taala. But indeed, you hear this situation, you're being very ignorant people. Yeah, call me oh my people who is going to help me against Allah, if I kicked out of the religion, the people that you don't like the people of poverty, will you then not use your common sense FLL talk they don't do you not think do not give thought to what I'm saying here? Consider what I'm telling you. And I'm not telling you that I have with me the treasures of Allah or that I know the world of the unseen. And I'm not claiming that I'm an angel.
And I do not say about these people that you look down upon, that Allah will not be sow any good upon them. Allah knows what is within their inner selves. In that case, if I were to do that, I would be amongst the volume and I would be a wrongdoer. Now, the idol worshipers who had a lot of wealth are becoming furious. They're very angry with no honey Salam. And they said, you've argued with us a lot. You've argued with us a lot of detail a lot of argumentation and you've prolonged the dispute. So if if you're telling the truth and you're a messenger of God, then bring upon us that very same thing you threaten us with in contaminate Saudi clean if you are among the truthful, new
Hadith Salam responded only Allah can bring that Punisher upon you by His will. And then if that happens, there is no escape.
for you, if that happens, there is no way for you to leave. And my advice then will not benefit you will not profit you even if I wish to give you any kind of advice, if Allah's Will is to keep your straight because they are not sincere because you do not want guidance. He is your Lord and to Him you shall return. Notice how Nurhaliza Salaam is redirecting this, this Dawa strategy this this conversation in terms of social re formation where the rich are looking down on the poor, the arrogant are trying to kick you out of the religion the humble like people do today Nurhaliza salaam redirects and reframes the message in the proper context here. This is not my message, I cannot
change things. This is from God, this is from your Creator. And you cannot look down on these people and kick them out otherwise almost, they will punish me as well. Allah will punish you for that they may be blessed with with goodness because of what's within them better than what you have that is external of material wealth. And this is important for social justice causes. This is important for addressing social inequalities in the United States and around the world, that we recognize that the framing of the message matters. And that when you respond to people who are arguing at length, and disputing and going back and forth, or they're being controversial, or they're being very arrogant,
or they're holding on to their status and their power and their wealth, at times, eventually some people become arrogant and challenge you to the point where they'll say, you know what you're arguing with us, we don't care anymore. We don't care anymore. And it will lead to what a war of ideas, a war of influence here where they start to challenge the very notion of objective good, or they start to challenge the punishment of God, and they are trying to get you want to change your message. Don't change your message of truth. If you believe it to be from Allah Subhana Allah, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam stick to it. As Muslims, when we are advocating for different things in
society, when we're advocating for certain causes. We need to be cautious. Why are we why are we required to be cautious more than others? Because we recognize that objective morality, objectivity, it is factual morality. It's not from me, it's not from you. It's not from your local Islamic Center, the ICD or on their machine, or objective morality is from Allah subhanaw taala. And if you want to reform society, you can only reform society to its greatest heights, on a pathway through that strategy that will lead to the implementation and re formation of what Allah subhanaw taala has revealed, meaning what you're reforming the thing that they are doing to implement the thing that
Allah subhanaw taala brought down for their own betterment for their own sake, and do not compromise when people argue back and forth and say, Well, can you change this? How about our alliance and our coalition go into a different direction? No, I'm sorry, I can't do that. Why? Because it's not my objective morality. This is not coming from me. Yes, we adapt. And we're flexible with certain types of strategies where there is flexibility. But a lot of Muslims fall into progressive ideas and liberal ideas and secular ideas in terms of change. And we must understand the underlying philosophy and ideology they offer the the worldview of these ideologies is not something that is permanent,
timeless, and objective from Allah subhanaw taala. It's based on what they desire at that time and place, what they believe to be rights and justice. And sometimes what they believe to be a right or justice is actually not a right in Islam. It's not a right in accordance with the actual definition of rights. So brothers and sisters, as we are advocating for certain things in society and working with different groups, many of whom are non Muslims, and we try to bring them towards the truth and towards Islam, and we try to be a source of guidance for them. We cannot fall for the mentality in society that it's all or none meaning it's this or that it's a or b, it's Democrats or Republicans.
It's this party in that party, in terms of objective morality, objective morality, is there as a goal and we have to ask, what are all the avenues and strategies that will lead to the implementation of that reformation, and there are mooloolah, whatever will wildly around wealthier, and if people try to get you to compromise along the way, what kinds of strategies will we need to overcome these obstacles, the obstacles in which people are challenging, they challenge your approach, they challenge your morality. And again, this morality is not coming from you. It's not coming from myself. It's not based on our desires, our power, it's coming from Allah subhanaw taala.
One like if we were to help society, see, as Muslims if we were all the 2 billion Muslims on earth, to implement what Allah subhanaw taala brought down, they would see the Reformation that benefits the blessings, the equality, the rights, the justice, the mental health benefits as well, the social benefits the economic benefits of Islam, and they would as well be chasing us for these solutions. But we ourselves at times are compromised, we Muslims do not represent Islam properly. In many cases, we ourselves are struggling with many things internally or within our communities within our organizations. And if we are not to step up to the plate, and to be consistent in terms of
implementing what Allah depends on brought down to reform our hearts and our societies, how do we expect other people to see the blood
single Muslim, if we ourselves are not practicing it may Allah so contact it forgive us and guide us and utilize us for height Aloma mean. No had Islam frame the message consistently in the proper context, even when they pushed against it, even when they tried to get into compromise even when they were rude and arrogant, be consistent and hold on to the principles that you have from Allah subhanaw taala. Now despite the continuous mockery and the rejection, Prophet Nurhaliza Salam was persistent in calling his people to Islam for 950 years. Yeah, Allah some people are not patients for one year giving Dawa. Some people are not patient for a few months in Dawa. I remember one time
unfortunately, this made me laugh at the time years ago at the masjid, the ICD actually, we were praying and Subhanallah I think there was a two year old running in the masala and they were making a lot of noise Mashallah. And as the Imam was praying the two or three year old ran up to the microphone on the floor, the one that the email uses for the sujood they grabbed it and he started screaming lalalalala and then they went up onto the minibar. They started like laughing talking out loud. They were very loud, to be very honest, they were very loud. In an adorable way, if you're someone who would consider that adorable, but was it a distraction of the insula? Yes, it could have
been a distraction and solid this is true. Now after salah, somebody yelled in the message, somebody was so angry. What is the matter with fathers and mothers who bring their children to the masjid and of course most fathers are not as accustomed to this as mothers are in the in the woman's masala. The guy started yelling, he was so angry, and he walked out of the masala so Paola, somebody else stood up and said, Yeah, Allah. Your honey Salam was patient for 950 years with disbelievers who attacked him and mocked him. And we can be patient with one Salah with a two year old with our community. May Allah subhanaw taala protect us, we really need to exemplify patience with one
another. We need to exemplify compassion with one another. We need to recognize that in addition to this story, the masajid are filled with the future generations and if we're to kick them out of the masjid at a young age, where do you expect them to grow up because most Muslim youth are not in the masjid. Most Muslims today are not in the houses of Allah subhanaw taala if we're to make that more difficult and to create greater barriers and to make this a specific type of exclusive club, a specific type of person is allowed into the machine in terms of someone desiring to worship someone desiring to pray, we're going to find ourselves in the future struggling or the future generations
will struggle to bring you to the mass masajid as they do today. And we ask Allah subhanaw taala to utilize us for height. The fact that there are children in the masjid should make us happy. Now, of course, what we should emphasize here if you're a parent and you bring your child to the masjid try to be very cautious at what age you bring them, the energy level that they have at that time, and sometimes it's out of their control. And when you're praying when there's a child making noise, try to use that as an opportunity to refocus insalata, refocus, and refocus and so on. Some Sahaba were shot with arrows shot in battles attacked in places and he would persist with their Salah because
they were so focused on their correspondence with Allah subhanaw taala Don't tell me that that two year old is the reason that now your Salah has not accepted me whatsoever forgive us and guide us and make the masajid more welcoming and more open to our community especially to our youth along I mean, probably no honey Salam call these people consistently and persistently to the truth. But every generation that was born that grew up remember 950 years is a long time so a lot of people weren't growing up as well at that time. They were rejecting new honey salam after that why every child that reached the age of understanding was warned by his parents or his community, don't listen
to know how they said don't listen to that person. So whatever profit new honey salon would come to them, they would run away from him. And they would come up with all types of excuses to run away from the message of truth. Before long enough in your head, Islam realized that the number of disbelievers was increasing and the number of believers had not changed at all. Brothers and sisters here's where's the story. Here's where the story really changes. And this is very interesting also frightening to see. Allah subhanaw taala revealed to Prophet new Hadith Salah that nobody else from your community will enter into Islam after this.
In the hola Yamuna nicomachea dilemma, but nobody after this will believe from your people. Your Allah can you imagine if we can see the future today, knowing that in a specific village or city or nation state, that you're calling people to the truth some people enter into Islam and for the next let's say 501,000 2000 years nobody else will enter into Islam. Prophet newer hottie Salaam in a way was was very saddened and disappointed by this recognizing nobody else was embracing Islam, when he started making dua to Allah subhanaw taala when he made your art to Allah subhanaw taala his do art was accepted and Allah commanded him to one construct and build the ark, construct the Ark and
you'll have guidance in terms of what to do. And don't ask me any more about the people who are evil meaning what that's it, nobody else will enter into the truth, while Mecca will Macron Kabbalah verse 22 Allah subhanaw taala saying they became even more and more and more arrogant. What did they do? They devised a very
