Start again.
So 14 minutes. I need 14 more minutes.
Right? Or or,
10 more minutes.
So that did it finish the Hadith?
It stopped that Allah will forgive. Allah will
forgive.
Yeah. So, Allah will forgive. Allah
will forgive, will forgive. But we were not
to understand this hadith again,
in the sense that Allah
that this open invitation to sin. No.
We understand this hadith that it is an
acknowledgement
that Allah loves us and we love Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala. And there would be
will be shy and ashamed,
to commit any sins.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, my dear respected brothers
and sisters in Islam, always always emphasizes,
on asking him to forgive us. He asking
us
Allah
is even talking to the to the to
the people who fought the Muslims, subhanallah.
Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, say, told those people,
that we're disbelieving and fighting against you. If
they stop and seize,
Allah will forgive all the previous sins
not only that,
the word is to ask Allah
to forgive us. To ask Allah
to forgive us is a part of our
meditation.
The Prophet
says in the hadith,
If if you are consistently asking Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala to forgive you
you by saying
Allah
will find you a way out.
Allah will,
ease your,
ease not only ease your problems,
Allah will give
you provisions from places that you have never
thought possible.
So, again,
I want you to know also since the
word
means to shield
that not, you know, that, you know, that
to that means to forgive, and means to
shield.
There's a lot of things that Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala have shielded away from us for
our own benefit.
For instance, this is the month of Ramadan.
And we know subhanAllah in the month of
Ramadan, there is the last 10 days of
Ramadan. Right?
We
detect the
in the last 10 days of Ramadan. That's
shielded away from us. Yes. Many people think
it's that 27th of Ramadan, and we do
Quran in 27th of Ramadan. But the simple
fact is
we don't know.
So, Allah have shield that away from us,
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
for a good reason. So, at the last
10 days of Ramadan that we could come
closer and closer and closer to Allah
We come closer to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
for instance in Jummah on
Friday.
On Friday, there is an hour
where, our prayers are accepted.
Which hour it is, Allah
shield that away from us so we could
detect it throughout,
the month of Friday. And that's the whole
idea of the whole month of the holy
month of Ramadan. That's the whole idea is
that relationship should ought to be closer.
I want to be closer to Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala, and in this hadith, I'm
I'm I'm I'm about
to,
explain to you.
There is a pragmatic way of coming closer
to Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said in
Hadith al Qudsi that Allah said,
Hadith is long.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam he said,
here is,
here is the mechanism of coming closer to
Allah. Why do we wanna come closer to
Allah?
Why not?
People often ask me, why you pray 5
times a day?
That's a lot.
Well, how many times do you call your
significant other?
Right. I think Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala wants
full custody.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala does not want weekend
visits.
So in this hadith, the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam remind us
that the way you come close to Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
is by doing the things that Allah made
an obligation on us. The 5 daily The
5 pillars of Islam. Right?
We pray. We get close to Allah. That's
our relationship with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala 5
times a day. We pay charity. Charity for
the poor and the needy. It's called in
Islam
and
means to purify.
So that purify our hearts, purify our soul.
We fast during the month of Ramadan. So
we could,
see with the eyes of the divine. SubhanAllah.
There's something
magical about an empty stomach
that
it starts seeing with the eyes of the
divine
figuratively speaking.
Start giving with the hands of divine, meaning
we start being generous. You know, they tell
you not to go to the grocery store
when you're hungry,
because you buy a lot of food.
In Ramadan, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala say, you
know, be hungry and go give money to
the poor and the needy so they could
give him an abundance.
Right? And pilgrimage where you go to where
all started. Those are the 5 pillars. That's
how you come closer to Allah. Prescription from
Allah to come close to Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala. Practical
spirituality,
connecting with the poor and the needy,
fasting during the month of Ramadan and and
so on. And then, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
you know, I call these vaccines for the
hearts. So, so we vaccinating the heart coming
closer to Allah. Then,
there is the Prophet says in this hadith,
that
sometimes we do extra.
Right?
There's more than just the 5 daily prayers.
We pray more in Ramadan. We do. Not
only we calculating our zakat at 2.5%. We
just give. We keep giving for the sake
of Allah. We fast in Ramadan. Yes. And
we fast after Ramadan. There's night prayers. There's
Quran, there's
All these bring you closer and closer to
Allah. And the more you get closer to
Allah like this,
this is just like the what we I
call
the the the extra vaccine
or the booster vaccine for the heart.
Right? You come closer to Allah, then
would take over your life. That's what we
want that you're in the month of Ramadan.
Let Allah
take over our life.
Yes. We ask Allah to forgive us. Allah
shields
thing intentionally so we get closer to us.
There's one warning here from prophet Muhammad
Don't be a person that forecast your sins,
man.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said,
all the of the prophet Allah will forgive
them
except those who actually
forecast their sins and proud of their sins.
Young brothers and young sisters on Instagram and
TikTok and all the social media,
SubhanAllah. Be careful.
Be careful.
Sins have,
you know,
the the the sins the sins could be
erased with with good deeds
insha'am
Now, even the companions of the Prophet, sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam
make mistakes.
The vastness of the forgiveness of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala is illustrated
in the story of,
the companion by the name of Hataybibnu Beltah.
Hataybibnu Beltah
was one of the companions of the prophet
who was in the battle of Badr, the
first battle.
And the prophet
said, everybody who was in that battle Allah
looked at their heart and forgive them. So
this this companion actually,
as the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was going
back from Madinah to Makkah
victorious with a
with with with thousands of soldiers,
he send the enemy,
the Qurayshi's,
a letter saying
alerting the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. The
Quran called that a betrayal
and, you know, some of the companions
wanted to take him out but the prophet
said to them, no. No. No. No. This
man was in the battle of Badr and
Allah
says, the people of Badr could do whatever
they want to do, that Allah have forgave
their sins.
Saidna Umar cried when he heard that
knowing the vast forgiveness of Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
Now,
in closing,
I want you to,
have some practical things in the month of
Ramadan. Do a lot of good deeds. Month
of Ramadan,
you're gonna have a lot of people come
in asking you for donations,
charity, poor and needy,
digging wells in different places in Africa and
so on. Do good deeds in the month
of Ramadan. Allah will multiply your deeds insha
Allah And then number 2,
say a for Allah in abundance. Repent and
go back to
Allah He's merciful.
You already your repentance already pre approved by
Allah
Allah already know you already know Allah forgives
all sins
And most importantly,
since the word forgive means to shield
and cover up.
So, shield the faults of others and cover
up the faults of others. The Prophet said,
If you shield
the faults of others
in this life, Allah will shield your faults
in this life and the hereafter. The prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, Do not
harm the slave servants of Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala and do not look for the faults
of others. Don't look for the faults of
others.
Allah is looking for that one deed.
Allah is looking for that one deed to
forgive all your sins.
And sometimes
we're looking for that one bad deed in
our brother or sister to invalidate them.
So look for that one deed to validate
your brother and look for you with that
one deed to validate,
your sisters, SubhanAllah.
I finish with this hadith of the Prophet
that
at the day of judgment, a man comes
to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and Allah Subhanahu
Wa
Ta'ala covers him
and ask him about his sins.
And the man would start saying his sins
and his sins, and his face would turn
red. He said, I I I knew I'm
gonna be destroyed.
Then Allah said, I have forgiven you in
this life. I have shielded you in this
life, and I have shielded you in the
hereafter.
Go to Jannah. You've been forgiven.
And 1 hadith, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
2 brothers
meet under the throne of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala.
One needs one good deed to interjannah and
the other
subhanAllah have only one good
deed. Allah tells this man that that that's
needing one deed. Go find somebody to give
you that one deed.
Perhaps, he will enter Jannah with that one
deed. The man goes around, and he finds
his other brother that have only one good
deed in his books of record. So his
friend says, yeah, I only have one good
deed in my books of records.
My brother take this good deed so he
can enter into paradise
and, you know, I know what my destination
is.
And I finish with this, Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala says and as he sees both of
them.
He said, are you showing generosity and in
the most generous
Allah? Are you showing mercy in the most
in the front of the most merciful for
Allah?
Take your brother hand and both of you
enter into paradise
because I have forgiven
both of you.
Ramadan is that season. May Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala forgive us all. May Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala accept from all of us.
