Let's continue now talking about that first obligation

really quickly, and we said it's called sifat

that or sifat nafs.

And the sheikh, he says here,

He says Allah exists. And we said that

within the poem he'll mention one word, right,

and that means what you should affirm

but then also what we affirm from that

is what we have to deny as Muslims,

as believers in Islam. So he said

very beautifully

and the Allah exists, the opposite will be

Adam. He doesn't exist. Now

here's that know, kind of just broken down

for you simply. If God's existence is an

obligation to affirm then his none

his nonexistence,

sorry,

then his nonexistence is an obligation to deny.

Thus in this one word,

right here,

we have 2 obligations,

to affirm his existence and to deny his

existence. Then we talked about the fruit of

believing Allah's existence, the lack of loneliness,

being careful of falling into sin, being excited

to do good, knowing that your struggles are

rewarded because Allah exists

and so on and so forth.

The next, two qualities that we wanna talk

about begin

a a set of attributes that are called

sifat

the word

means negative

or negations.

What that means is the opposite of these

is also an obligation as I said earlier.

They they talk about Allah's existence

is that,

for a reason that you'll study in in

more advanced texts but let's just keep it

simple now. So we have sifatovat,

and then the next attributes are are called.

Right? Their opposites are also an obligation. So

he says,

right.

The word right means to be old. Right

here what it means according to the scholars

of Ilm Kalam and theology

is

to have no beginning.

Imam

Abu Zayed says,

right? I

believe he says in the right Allah has

no beginning. His beginning has no beginning. He

is beyond time.

Right.

Means he has no ending.

Right, he has no ending.

Now there there's,

of course, a logical support for this because

if God had a beginning, that would imply

that he was born,

and if he had an ending, that would

imply that he would die,

and that would make him like his creation,

thus unworthy of worship. Right? We'd be worshiping

the creation.

And since creation obviously did not create,

right,

then that's impossible because we're not the creator.

If we're the creator, we'll be outside of

our own qualities, right? That's the argument. Allah

subhanahu wa ta'ala says

in the Quran. So here's a logical argument,

logical argument being that

simply put, life and death are symptoms of

creation.

And if god experienced

life or death,

then there would be no creation because creation

can't create.

The verse in Surat Al Hadid, Allah

is the first

and the last. Al Awa means he has

no beginning, no ending.

Now what is the outcome of this or

the benefit for this, of these two qualities

in our lives, right?

Before we talk about that, let's talk about

the negations, right?

The the opposite

of

kiddom

is going to be birth.

Allah

says,

Right?

The opposite

of would be death.

And the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said

in describing Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala,

Right? You're he while you meet. Allah is

the one who caused life and death. Another

narration of prophet,

Allah never dies,

So the opposite of

and

is birth

and

would be the opposite of

so we deny those. We said those are

inconceivable

because those are human qualities. Those are qualities

of creation,

And if God has a quality of creation,

well, creation does not have the ability to

create.

Right? So that's the argument.

Secondly, Allah says

in the Quran,

and then the third is the impact. Listen.

When we believe that Allah has no beginning

and no ending

and we talk about investments,

where is it that we're really going to

put our investments?

Right? Are we gonna put our investments in

this life, which

everything dies, everything moves on?

Are we going to

be able to control the narcissism and the

hubris that exist in this world

and dedicate ourselves to Allah

because Allah says,

what's with Allah lasts.

So the outcome of understanding these two

qualities well is

and fiscal responsibility

and living a life that shows that we

are definitely

a caretaker of the environment, staying away from

wasting things and getting caught up in this

world and forgetting our purpose.

No.

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is

He's the only thing that's going to last,

so that is where I'm going to put

my investments.

Allah says those everlasting good deeds will stop

now inshallah and continue next time.
