Assalamu
alaikum to my niece. I see you here.
Happy birthday to my niece. Everybody
wish wish my amazing niece,
a happy birthday. Masha'Allah. May Allah
bless her and give her a long
incredible life.
Assalamu alaikum to everybody. Welcome to our
nightly program. Alhamdulillah here at Swiss. Alhamdulillah. Our
My amazing
our gatherings, alhamdulillah, that are happening on the
regular here on all of our social media
outlets.
And we've been going through every Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday night, a short gathering together, a short
time together to dedicate to Islamic studies.
Islamic studies are very important. Tuesday nights are
dedicated to faith and Ihsan. Wednesdays are dedicated
to, like, contemporary issues. And then Alhamdulillah,
our our Thursday night is dedicated
to working on our hearts and and creating,
capacity for worship.
Tonight, we're talking about faith and Ihsan,
and that's very important because oftentimes faith is
taught in a way that creates divisions,
and we don't wanna do that here at
We want
to make sure
that we're teaching faith in a way that
strengthens
our community, strengthens
our relationships with one another,
and increases us
in our higher and our ability
to do good.
The prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam, he located
this idea of faith in ihsan, in a
very beautiful hadith, which was said to
a very young
companion.
At that time, ibn Abbas, his nephew was
very young,
radiAllahu anhu.
And the prophet
said to him, I'm going to teach you
some words of wisdom.
I want to teach you some some words
of wisdom.
And
his nephew,
you know,
said, of course, teach me. And he said,
which means,
be mindful of Allah
and Allahu
will take care of
you. Like
imagine imagine this kind of
statement
given to Sayyidina
Be mindful of Allah.
Be mindful of Allah
and Allah
will take care of you.
Be mindful of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and
you will find Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in
front of you.
If you ask,
ask Allah.
If you seek help,
seek the help of Allah. And that's the
type of iman that we want.
That's the type of relationship we wanna have
with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. So this Tuesday
night
is dedicated to faith and Ihsan,
not to divisions, not to fighting, not to
talking about people, not to attacking that person.
No. No. Tuesday nights,
our goal is to be from the
Allah says in the Quran,
Allah loves the people of
And Allah
says from those those people who live lives
of
there is meaning Jannah.
So
we we want to appreciate
the the powerful
opportunity that we have.
To be together
and to focus on
And the prophet
he said,
is to worship Allah
as though you see him.
And if you can't see him, at least
he you know he sees you.
So
we wanna start this
3rd session with that goal in mind, and
I mentioned the evidence for ihsan
found in the statement of the prophet salallahu
alayhi wa sallam to a young person. So
if you're young and you're watching, you have
to be very careful that
the world doesn't tell you, well, you're young,
you don't have to worry about faith. You're
young, you don't have to worry about religion.
You're you're young, you don't have to worry
about obedience. If you die tomorrow, you're old
today.
And the smart young person is the one
who uses
and employs
their youth for Allah.
That's why the prophet he
said 7,
They will be shaded by Allah in a
day when there's no shade but the shade
of Allah. And one of them is the
young person,
who uses their youth for Allah.
Uses their youth for Ibadah. How many young
people they're using and wasting their youth worship
and everything and serving everything, but Allah is
serving good.
So the prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa sallamah,
he says to Sayyid ibn Abbas radiAllahu anhu,
at that time, ibn Abbas is under 13
years old.
He says, Oh young man, I'm
gonna teach you some words of wisdom.
Be mindful of Allah
and Allah will be mindful of you. Can
he take care of your relationship with Allah?
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will take care of
his relationship with you.
Whoever is dutiful to Allah, Allah gives them
a makaraj
and exit out of any situation. So this
is ihsan.
This is the type of tawhid that we
wanna have when our focus is on Allah,
the obedience of Allah, being dutiful to Allah,
serving people,
and being those who serve others and heal
a fractured world. So that's the goal of
our class together that we spend,
over the next few weeks.
Sheikh Ahmed al Dardir, the book that we're
reading from, he says,
The shayhi opens up his book, he says,
it is an obligation upon the responsible person,
and last week we talked about responsibility.
Ma'arifah.
The word ma'arifah is translated as to know,
but it's important to understand there's a difference
between ilm and ma'arifah.
We see about knowledge, ilmasabaqahu
al jahl.
Ilm is something that was preceded by ignorant,
al al al al al
is something that was not preceded by ignorance.
That's why we say Allah Alim.
But Marifa
is something that was preceded by ignorance.
So that's why the word marifa is from
the word arf. Arf means something high.
Something
that,
you know, sticks out.
That's why I say, alshabal aaraf.
And that's why, alhamdulillah, we say about the
customs of a people, araf, it sticks out.
So ma'rifah is learning something that's obvious.
Learning something that's obvious. So we say marifatullah.
It means Allah's existence is obvious.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's existence is obvious. We
just have to pay attention. But
Al marifaamasabaqahu
al jahlu.
So the Shaykh says
That the first way,
the work first way to step in to
being a person who lives a life as
though they see Allah, even though they can't
see him, they know he sees them,
is to push into learning about who Allah
is.
To push in. And al Qadi Abu Bakr,
he says that the knowledge of Allah is
not something you can dream, not something you
can feel, it's not a notion.
The knowledge of Allah has to be learned
from the Quran and sunnah,
From the the book of Allah
and the messenger of Allah.
Allah says about the Quran.
There's no doubt in the book.
And he says about the prophet
The prophet doesn't speak from his desires.
So you have an opportunity with me now
to learn
a classical textbook that's taught in the Azhar
right now. Can you imagine how lucky you
are? Alhamdulillah. Years ago we had to travel
to learn this. You have an opportunity.
And it's rare to be able to learn
in an organized way. So take it seriously.
Try to attend every time. Try to take
notes. Try to focus. Try to learn.
Because one of the things I worry about
is I see quite a few people online
arguing with the Christians, arguing with other religions,
and they use the Bible
or they use Christianity
to argue with the Christians. That makes me
think, do they really know Islam? Because if
you know Islam,
you don't need to use the Bible to
argue with Christians. If you really know Islam,
you don't really You don't have to use
their stuff. Also, it's disrespectful to them. They
have their own scholarship.
But if we know Islam,
we can spread Islam with Islam.
And everything else is like salt on the
food.
That's why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says to
the prophet,
say the truth. But if I haven't learned
if I haven't learned the truth, how can
I spread it? So then I have to
use other things around me that don't demand
that I'm disciplined, because learning takes discipline. To
go into a dojo takes discipline. So it's
much more easier to sort of skip around
learning Islam
and just talk.
But there is an art to this. There
is a fun, the funun of Dawah.
And the first obligation is to learn. It
doesn't mean we can't use those other things,
but that shouldn't be the main course of
our Dawah.
A very simple argument you can say to
any Christian is we're gonna learn today
from Islam.
So sheikh Ahmed ad Dardir, and and and
that's emblematic of the fact that we don't
know our deen. We actually know other people's
stuff that we more know more than we
know our own stuff. That's the problem.
If I want to spread the light, I
have to use the light. I can't use
darkness to spread the light, man.
So Sheikh Ahmed ad Dardir, I want you
to take it seriously.
He says,
It's an obligation upon the responsible person,
marifa, to learn.
What is an obligation
to God?
That's the first step. And my first step
towards isan is to learn.
Because no one can be a better
than the prophet Muhammad, salallahu alayhi wa sallam.
No one can be more aware of Allah
than the prophet, alayhi salam, and all of
the prophets from Adam to Abraham, to David,
to Moses, to Mohammed,
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
To say that Jesus,
alayhi salaam.
So I have to to to learn as
the prophets learn, and walk as the prophets
walk, and step as the prophets step, and
push in as the prophets push in. And
there's something important
that all of the prophets, alayhi, musarato, was
salaam, were taught.
As well as says,
we taught you what you didn't know. Talking
to the prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
And the prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam has
said
that knowledge is acquired by learning.
And one of the dangers we had to
be careful of now, since 2016, especially in
the world,
because
politics has taken such a role in society
that
the ideas of secular politics and the language
of secular politics
has seeped into everything,
and even religion.
And in many ways, this may,
you know, deliberately secularize the Muslim mind, who
now is thinking with a a Western
political,
epistemological
framework.
So no longer do we say, hubida,
fisc,
them. We say liberal conservative.
Our language
is the greatest
indicator of our our being the victims
of colonization.
The words that we use to describe things,
the terms that we use to talk about
things are an indication of what occupies our
spiritual
and intellectual space. So now, it's very common
to hear Muslims,
even when they talk about each other's.
Even when they talk about others, they won't
use religious terminology.
They will use secular political terminology.
If you want to engage in decolonality,
learn Arabic.
If you want to push into decolonality,
learn the language of the Quran, because
every revolution that happened in the Muslim world
started around the halaqa of the book of
Allah,
the Quran.
So take these opportunities that you have tonight
seriously,
take notes,
and you're learning a very important text.
But if I'm occupied by political nomenclature and
secular ideology, to the point that that that
now becomes my, the of my mustarahat,
The the the, you know, the reference for
the terms I use. This is the greatest
indication that I am untethered and unmoored from
revelation
and occupied and used
by agents of colonality.
Even maybe in the name of something good.
So be careful.
So the sheikh, he says, The
first obligation is to know, to learn
what is an obligation for us as Muslims
to believe about God. I have a very
interesting experience because I said earlier, I worry
about people who make dawah using
the sources of other religions
exclusively.
You we should make dua to Islam with
Islam. We should make dua to the haqq
with the haqq. We should make dua to
the light with the light. And I'll give
you an example.
The book that I'm teaching you now, I
translated it.
It's a book that I said is taught
on the ezhar to young children.
I translated it into English. And there was
a non Muslim woman, an evangelical Christian sister,
in Georgia,
who I was at a camp, and she
saw my book. And she said,
brother, can I have a copy of your
book? I said, absolutely.
Man, this woman, she took this big book
home, and the next day, she came to
the camp.
Man, she had the book, and she had
so many notes. It looked like a subway
that had been, like, filled with graffiti.
And she said to me, I read this
book from the beginning to the end. It's
a short text.
And listen to what she told me.
She said, Muslims are different than Christians.
I understand now, after reading your book.
She said, Muslims
believe in God,
and we believe in Jesus.
And then she said, did I just say
that? I said, yes, you did. You just
said that, and I caught you.
And I said, what did you mean by
we believe in God,
and you believe in Jesus?
And she said, the
God of Islam
is truly
beyond creation.
The God of Islam is like nothing in
this world,
whereas Jesus was a man. Acts 222.
I said subhanAllah. So that's what I meant
by we have the tools, we just have
to learn our tools and our our toolkit
to be, number 1, able to strengthen our
own Faith and our own iman, but number
2,
to spread the Deen.
So what is the first obligation Sheikh Ahmed
ad Dardir? He mentions in Al Aqidah
mentions in Al Aqidah at Tahidiya,
he says,
The first is we believe
Allah exists.
We say
His existence is an obligation,
because without his existence, nothing else would exist.
We know this from two angles.
Number 1, from the Quran
and from other religious texts that Allah has
revealed himself, but we know the final book
is the Quran.
Allah
says that indeed I am Allah. There's no
God except me, so establish prayer for my
remembrance.
The Quran invites us to learn about God
in 3 ways.
Number 1 is learning the Quran
and learning
the sunnah of the prophet
So we learn about Allah through the Quran
and through the sunnah of Sayyidina Aqwan. The
Quran is the of Saylal Aqwan.
The Quran tells us about God. The prophet
tells us about God.
The Quran says there's nothing in creation like
Allah.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
There's nothing like Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And we know that the prophet
when he would make dua, he will call
on Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala by his beautiful
names, by his beautiful attributes.
For example, the famous dua of Sayedah Muhammad
and the prophet SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam, he said,
for example,
fa'ina hula yakhfiroozhanuba
illa and the only one who can forgive
is you. The only one who forgives sins
is Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala. So we learn
about Allah through the Quran and through the
sunnah of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
And that's why Sayyidina Uthmar ibn Affan
when he was asked what is the quickest
way to get to Allah? He said through
his words, through the Quran.
Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So that's the first. The
second
is to think about the creation around us,
and to look at the natural world and
the physical world.
Islam is not at war with science. Science
is at war with Islam. Western science is
at war with Islam, but Islam has never
been at war with science.
Over and over in the Quran, Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala commands us
to not only think about Allah generally
but to think about Him specifically.
And very rarely
will someone ask you to think about them
in detail. Like people, when they present themselves,
they don't really want you to know who
they are, right, in the beginning. So they
just, you know, what they do, their CV,
their jobs,
whoever.
But then, subhanallah,
Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, invites us not only
to think about him generally, who Allah, Ar
Rahman, Ar Rahim, Al Marik, Al Qudus,
anything from himself.
So not only do we think about
Allah does not only ask us to think
about him generally,
he also ask us to think about him
specifically.
And that shows you that someone is being
honest with you. Investigate me.
Investigate
Think again and think again and think again
and think again and think again and look
and look and look and look.
That's why religious teachers should be transparent and
open. When people ask ask questions, answer their
questions. If you don't know, you don't know.
It's not about your ego. Let the ego
go for the sake of Allah.
The best answer anyone can give someone is
la adri. I don't know. As the prophet
said,
that knowledge is 3. One of them is
to say, I don't know. And
the prophet himself on numerous occasions, he said,
I don't know. To teach the adept
of being humble with the transcendent complete knowledge
of Allah.
So the second is to think and ponder
on Allah's creation, and that's why the Quran
encourages us to think about it generally
in
In the creation of the heavens and the
earth is general.
And in the alteration of the day and
the night is like the details.
Are the the the the signs
for those people of clear intellect. So now
we learn 2 ways
that we learn about Allah. Number 1,
is through the Quran and sunnah.
Number 2,
Alhamdulillah,
is through thinking and pondering on creation.
And number 3 is to learn
theology.
To learn.
To study. You should study a text in
normative
theology.
Alhamdulillahi
rabbalaramin.
From a teacher, from a shaykh. I see
people in the comments asking who I am,
what's my background. Listen, focus on Allah.
Focus on Allah. Focus on the lesson. Don't
focus on people. You know, to focus always
on people is a fitna to focus on
Allah is Jannah. How many Muslims now they're
busy talking about people. SubhanAllah, talk about Allah,
Talk about Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala. Don't waste
your time in this fit in online of
who's who, what's what, this, this, most of
our lies.
But about Allah
And the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam sadaqul
must do, he doesn't lie. And
also, is this person a scholar? Is this
person a scholar? You know, when I started
my studies, I never said, is that person
a scholar? I said, does that person know
more than me? Because I'm not ready for
a scholar. Right. A scholar is like you
going and trying to ball out with Jaylen
Brown. But you're not even ready for the
d League.
Don't think about, is this a scholar, is
that a scholar? You're not ready for scholarship.
Ask yourself, does that person know more than
me? If that person knows more than me,
then
I will I will learn from them.
Look at Imam Malik
Say the Imam Malik in Medina one time
he was walking with his students, and they
found a man who was a shepherd.
And Imam Malik, he went to him and
he said, assalamu alaikum, sheikh.
He gave him the greeting, this is my
sheikh.
And Imam Malik students were shocked. They said,
how can Imam Malik
how is he giving salaams to a simple
shepherd and calling him his teacher?
So they asked Imam Malik, how how are
you
how are you
giving salams to this person?
And Imam Malik, he said, that's my teacher.
He taught me the fiqh of dogs. How
to recognize the difference physically between a puppy
dog and adult dog. Fahada
shayri. So avoid
this
toxic
stuff online.
And ask yourself
and ask myself,
does that person know more than me? Then
I should learn something from them.
Look, subhanAllah,
at Sayidna Musa,
even though he's a prophet,
and Khadr
is not a prophet.
But Sayidna Musa,
Moses,
when he learned that someone knew something he
didn't know, he traveled to him. He didn't
say, are you a scholar? Are you a
prophet? Are you Rasool?
Can you teach me a little bit of
what you know?
So avoid this. If you see people who
know more than you, learn from them. Take
the good, leave the evil.
So the first obligation we said,
is to know that Allah exists.
How do we know that Allah exists? Number
1, through Quran and sunnah. Number 2, through
the natural world, the physical sciences.
And number 3, by learning from the ulama
and the masheikh and teachers who are qualified
to teach us.
It's very important.
So he says,
The first thing he said,
We say,
Allah's existence is fard.
It's an obligation.
It's
an obligation based on text and also the
intellect. The The text, we said numerous texts,
they tell us Allah exists.
But number 2,
we know the law of thermo thermodynamics,
matter does not is is constantly in the
state of destruction.
Matter did not create itself, nor can it
destroy itself. So if matter cannot create nor
destroy, that means something created matter,
and something
will, I I memorized the book. Sorry, I
don't have the book with me. I memorized
this book.
Something
is causing it to exist, and something is
causing it
to be destroyed. Because matter cannot do it.
So whatever, pay attention,
created matter is not matter.
And that's how we respond to Christianity.
Jesus
is
matter.
Jesus lived in a physical space. Jesus lived
in a physical time.
He walked like a human being. He talked
like a human being. He ate. He slept.
So our response to Christianity
is that Jesus cannot be God because he
was subject to physical laws. He was subject
to material laws. And God,
matter doesn't create itself, nor destroy itself, so
God is beyond
matter.
God is not like creation.
And the only,
you know,
stringent adherence to this type of Tawhid that
we find is Al Islam.
Is nothing like Allah. So here we say
the existence of Allah
is found in, number 1, in Quran and
Sunnah.
Number 2, I gave one example of many,
Alhamdulillah,
that we can use what are called Al
Maqulat.
Right? Al Barahim.
Those evidences that we can use from time
to time. Like I said earlier, using other
religions,
if you're a scholar in those religions and
you're trained in those religions to prove a
point is fine. If you're a jahil in
other people's religion, if you're ignorant about Christianity
or Judaism,
don't
use their religion to argue with them. That's
disrespectful to them.
And you make us look bad.
What is the fruit of that? Because we
wanna talk about now what what should how
should knowing Allah exist impact us?
How does that lead to Ihsan? If we
looked at the Quran,
we find a few examples.
Number 1,
it should lead us to become humble and
repent and turn to Allah.
If we know that Allah, the true soul,
one god exists,
Alhamdulillah,
we should translate that into repentance
and reverence
and turning to Allah and obeying Allah. Look
at Sayyidina Umar Khattab
When
it hit him that Allah exists,
In Nani, and he heard the verse. In
Nani an Allah hula ilaha illa anafahabudani
wa akimasurah
tali decree.
I am Allah. There's no God except me,
so establish
prayer from our remembrance.
He was transformed.
His heart became soft.
And he went from someone who wanted to
murder the messenger of Allah
to loving the messenger of Allah.
He went from someone who was the, you
know, dedicated enemy to the prophet salallahu alaihi
wa sallam
to being his greatest supporter.
Why? The fruit of knowing that Allah exists.
Should cause us to leave sin,
and repent
and establish obedience. That's what one of our
teachers used to say.
If you speak Arabic, it's nice, it rhymes.
That the fruit of knowing Allah exists,
is to leave sin.
That the fruit of knowing Allah exists,
is to leave sin.
The second fruit of knowing that Allah exists,
Alhamdulillahi rabbilahramin,
is bravery on the haqq.
Haqq.
And not to fear
any repercussion when it comes to the rights
of Allah.
That's what you find in Surat Al A'raf,
those magicians
who are blinded by the power of pharaon.
They were blinded by the power of pharaoh.
The only thing that could remove their ability
to see
was the light of Allah.
The only thing that could remove their ability
to see the grandeur of Firaun
is when they had ma'rif of Allah.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says,
That when it hit them,
that the one causing
this staff to turn into a snake
is the creator of everything,
They fell into sujood.
And they said what?
Mean? Immediately, they said, we believe
in the creator of all things.
The creator of Musa and harun.
You're welcome, brother. No problem. Appreciate you sharing,
man.
Glad you're here listening.
So they heard
the truth,
and they fell and prostrated.
What about us now as youth?
If we're addicted to marijuana,
if we're using,
you know, weed,
if we are drinking alcohol, if we're looking
at *,
if we're doing something haram, are we not
better than those magicians?
Are we blinded by the magic of this
dunya to the point that we no longer
see
the signs of Allah and the names of
Allah in creation?
Has the grandeur and power of the temporary
world blinded our hearts and our minds
just like those people who are blinded by
the grandeur of.
If we go back to Tawhid,
and we center ourselves on Tawhid,
everything falls into place.
And just as those magicians were emancipated
from the sorcery of Firaun,
those young people who turn to Allah will
be emancipated from the sorcery of this temporary
world.
And that's why we saw so many young
people, alhamdulillah,
at Encampments.
And tomorrow, I will be there also
protesting Netanyahu,
Insha'Allah,
in Washington DC.
Because they saw the truth.
The lies of the dunya were exposed,
and the only truth is
Allah.
The last example, alhamdulillah,
that we'll mention
is somebody that has ma'rifah of Allah
is not only someone who
is repenting and turning back to Allah.
Also brave, they don't sell out. They're not
blinded by the intimidation of this dunya, because
they know
that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is
Allah. Who are those who who have reverence
to Allah? Those who know Allah.
Those the more they know him, the more
they're dutiful to him. That's why the prophet,
salallahu alayhi wasalam, said, by Allah, I am
the most knowledgeable of Allah and the most
fearful of Allah.
The knowledge
has fear and hope.
The
last
fruit of knowing that Allah
exists is hope.
Because when I know Allah exists,
and I know who is Allah
I will never lose hope.
That's why
Allah says, Allah Innaawliya
Allahi lahufu
naaalaihim
Indeed,
those friends of Allah, they have no fear,
they have no grief.
And Allah
In Nurul Altaqaf says, and who hopes to
meet Allah
must do good.
So the sign of hope is Ibadah.
The sign of hope is worship. The sign
of hope in Allah's promise
is that I never give up.
That's what one of my teachers used to
say, if you lose hope in yourself,
place your hope in the one who created
you. SubhanAllah.
Like if you lose hope in yourself,
place your hope in
Allah. If you don't have enough security with
yourself,
leave it to Allah.
Subhanahu
wa ta'ala. So the last the last quality
that we're gonna talk about, there's numerous qualities
from knowing Allah exists,
subhanahu wa ta'ala
is tarq uzunub
ika matata'a'a
or rajah.
He's leaving sin,
establishing worship,
being brave,
and never losing hope.
Never losing hope.
We'll stop now. BarakAllahu fa'ikum wazakum, malakkaren. Next
week, we'll talk about Al Qidam wal Baqah.
The 2 other things that we have to
believe about Allah is that Allah has no
beginning and no ending.
Today, we talked about Allah's existence,
that his existence is wajib because nothing would
exist without
Allah says, no Quran, Allah created everything in
Surat Anam.
Subhanahu
wa ta'ala, good, evil, pain, suffering, happiness, sadness,
you name it, he created as a blessing
and as a test
for us
The opposite of that is that he doesn't
exist and this is kufr. So we have
to believe Allah exists, what is kufr is
to believe
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala doesn't exist.
So ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
and we talked about how do we how
do we know Allah exists? We talked about
3 ways.
Add a 4th way, is your experiences.
Right? Life teaches you.
So the more you worship, the more you
stand up for the truth, the more you
do good, the more you will see the
help of Allah in your life.
So learning Allah's existence
through Quran and sunnah, through focusing and thinking
on the natural physical world,
learning theology from a teacher, a Muslim teacher
who's qualified.
And number 4, live your life, man.
You will learn about Allah through living.
Allah says, go and travel in the earth.
Look at those people that came before us
who rejected us, who are mighty in power.
Where are they now?
They're gone.
So also, traveling to the earth, living your
life,
being patient.
See this as a process and not an
event. Don't too put too much pressure on
yourself. Grow in your faith slowly.
Don't try to grow overnight,
and make the focus of your learning faith,
a bada and ihsan.
Worship
and focusing on Allah.
Everything else will take care of itself. So
someone's asking, how often do you come online?
Alhamdulillah, I come online Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays at
11,
New York City time. Please share with others.
I'm so shadow banned.
They can shadow ban us but they can't
stop the noor from being in our lives,
walhamdulillahi. Allah mazidna noor. May Allah accrete us
in light, alhamdulillahi.
And we ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to
bless all of you. So every Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday night, Alhamdulillah.
Tuesdays is for faith and Ihsan.
Wednesdays is for contemporary issues. So tomorrow night,
we'll finish talking about
Muslim women marrying non Muslim men. We've been
going through that in 2 sessions.
And the third the third thing that we
talked about,
is
the
on Thursday's spirituality
and purification of the
heart, working on our soul.
We ask Allah
to bless us.
We ask Allah to help the people of
Palestine,
the people of Sudan, and the people of
Congo.
We also pray for our sister, sister Massey,
who was publicly executed
by the police in Chicago
and her family.
We pray for our brothers and sisters in
Bangladesh,
the student movements.
I can speak a little
We ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala by all
of his names and attributes
that he give the students
and young people and people of righteousness
in Bangladesh victory over all of
these challenges that they're facing.
So if you have any questions, you can
type them in.
If not,
we'll see you guys tomorrow. I post also
these recordings on YouTube,
so you are free to observe them there.
Hope to see people tomorrow in DC at
the protest against
you know who
and to be present and to be, you
know, participating, alhamdulillah,
in those
protests.
