Welcome to the rules for reading Warsh.
You guys are doing amazing.
Listen to
this part of this verse from Surat Kahf.
Hu, hoo, hoo. I used to tell children
that this is the owl sound, hoo, hoo,
hoo.
And what that Hu is called
is Al kinaya
or Al Danir. Al
Kinaya is the terminology of the Kufi school,
Al Damir is the terminology of the Basri
school. We now now most people in the
modern world use terminology of the Basri School.
But why is it called Al Kinayah? I
think actually it's a great term because it
means that that
hu,
hu, hu represents something that's not mentioned.
So,
So instead of saying,
right, I'm saying,
That's why it's
that's why it's called
Halas.
You'll also notice something,
this is harf.
Sahibuhu,
this is ism.
So that means that this special type of
owl,
Damir
or You're going to find it with
Harf,
you're going to find it with Esma, you're
going to find it with Efr. And it
can also take kasra wa ummihi waabiwasahibatihi
he he also this is adamir haukinay.
Now we've had this brief introduction, let's talk
about how Imam Nafir
reads this
owl pronoun.
Who, who, who.
Ibn
Ubari, he says
It's
It's very important. He says if
Al Kinaya or Abdamir comes between two letters,
and those letters have vowels,
Sayna Nafi Yesilha Bisilatayni
is going to read it with silah. What
is silah? If you look at the the
after sometimes you see a little wow or
the he, sometimes after you see a little
yeah, it looks like a yeah. This is
called sila.
Now there is an important rule for this,
because you'll notice at the end of the
poem he says, fanafi
yasilha
bisillatayni.
That when that happens, two letters, and in
between them is this special
and both letters have vowels,
Nafi' is going to observe
1 of 2 ways to read it.
The first is if the letter after
'Abdamer
is any letter
other than hamzatulqatta,
you do not read it with mud.
Khalas, that's
easy.
And if the letter
after
or
is hamza2qata,
then you read it like mud,
moon fossil.
So because Hamzat Al Qata came after
and that salah, we're going to read it
like mud moon fossil.
Sit the harakat.
Khalas is super easy.
Super, super easy. If I see
between two letters
with vowels, if the letter after it is
not hamza tuqata,
halas, it's all, it's easy.
And if the letter, excuse me, after halqinaya
is hamzatulqata
or hal damir,
I'm going to read it like madmunfasil
Khalas. Now there are some notes here I
took, on this issue because I think it's
super, super, super important.
And I want you to have some familiarity
with this issue. But what I told you
now is enough for you to start reading.
Halas,
after
it
is
not
a
hamzaluqatta,
halas mafishmaat.
Hudamir,
after it is not a hamzul Tukata, halas
mafishmad imshielatul.
So now that takes us to the different
scenarios in which we're going to observe,
ul kinayah. I'm not gonna give you all
of them right now. You can learn them
in the future. If you roll with what
I've told you so far, InshaAllah, you'll have
no problem reading. But let's take a few
examples. The first is if the HaOudameer
or HaOud kinayah sits between two letters and
both of those letters have vowels. We already
talked about this. If the letter after it
is hamzatulqatta,
this is going to be madmunfasil
sitaharakat
If the letter after it is not Hamzal
Alqatta, you're not going to read it with
Madwaummihi
wa abi
as another example.
The second is that it's going to be
preceded by a sukoon and followed by a
sukoon.
Ilayihil Masir. Ilayihil
Masir,
here there's no Salah, you just read it
Ilayihil Masir. You don't read it with any
mud or anything. You just read it Aratu.
Another example is if it has a
letter in front of it that has a
vowel and then after the sukoon,
Lahul Mulk. Lahul Mulk. Here you're not gonna
go,
Lahulmulk
or
Lahulmulk.
Lahulmulk
fahalas.
So now let's talk about a few words
that are read and washed in kind of
unique ways, InshaAllah. And sometimes they may intersect
with havs and sometimes they don't. For an
example,
Hafs
says
reads this, the 63rd verse,
waamehihi,
not who.
Also, Suratulfat,
alaihi lahu.
Alaihi.
He. Not alaihi
in warash. What reading now, Masha'Allah. So to
Fat Ayat number 10, I believe,
and then sot al kaf, ayat 63.
Another word, fihi mu'ana,
sortu forkan,
ayat 69.
We are going to read this with the
Qasr of the Bidun silah.
Bidun silah.
Fihi muhanah.
Feehi mohenah. And there's a rule for this
also, and that is that the is preceded,
haudamir, with the sukoon
and after it is a letter with a
vowel. Right. That letter is not hamza tukata.
So you're going to say, feihi mohenna bidunselah
bidun salah. And then, of course, we're in
tashkuru
yarudahulakum
in Surat
Zumar verse number
7.
This is a Yarrubahu
lakum with salah. It says Yarrubahu lakum
in warash
and nafeh. Mythlah havs bidot.
So Alhamdulillah, we talked briefly now about Al
kinayah.
It's an important
important
hamir section in Tajweed. My goal now is
to get you reading, so let's review
quickly kind of the simple rules.
Halqinayah
is that that damir which represents huwa huwa
huwa.
Halas,
kalala hu sahibuahuwa
huwa yuha. We're a huwa it can be
attached
to a haraf,
a noun or a verb.
We said that
yosilahabisilatayni.
That our concern now is when this rests
between two letters that have vowels.
If the letter after the Haukinay is Hamzatulqatah,
you're reading it like Madmun Fassil
Khalas, said the harakat.
Other than that, any other letter, you don't
have to worry about it.
Khalas.
Then we talked about the different scenarios that
this can happen.
And I mentioned a few of them. Number
1, it sits between two letters with vowels.
We just talked about that. Number 2, it
sits between two letters that are second. Ilayihilmasir.
No sila.
There's gonna be no Silah.
Number 3, it sits in front of a
letter, right,
which is
second and after it is mutaharek,
like feehi mu'anna
feehi mu'anna. You're not gonna read it with
salah.
Khalas. And then finally it has a letter
in front of it that has a vowel
and the letter after it doesn't. So you're
gonna say 'lahulmulk'
also no silah. There's no silah there. And
then we talked about some different words like
'ansanihi,
'alayhi, lahu.
We talked about fihi muhanah
You Rudahu Lakum
insotzumr
khala salhamdulillahihorubbalaramin.
This is one of those chapters that you
have to practice reading with someone,
and InshaAllah, in our practice together we'll put
it, you know, right in front of you
so you're gonna kind of like habituate it.
BarakAllahu Fiqui. May Allah Subhana Wa Ta'la bless
you and increase you. JazakamuAllahu Hurran. WasehAllah Wa
Salamu Wa Barakaraseeedeena
Muhammad. WasehAllah Wa Barakatuh.
