Suhaib Webb – Making Sacrifices for the Love of Allah

And that will be exemplified in three ways.

Number one, is that to love Allah, and

love the Messenger of Allah, is to put

them in front of everything else.

That's why shaykh says, جُرْحَ الْحِبَّئِ عِنْدِ غَيْرُ

ذِي أَلَمِي When he talks about the sacrifice

needed to be truly a follower of the

Messenger of Allah.

He says, جُرْحَ الْحِبَّئِ That to be injured

for who you love, is not an injury.

And to give up something for the da

'wah of the Messenger of Allah, for the

good call of the Messenger of Allah, for

the maqasid muhammadiyah.

There's no pain in this, alhamdulillah.

Actually, it's a blessing.

Number two, is to think about our unity,

practical unity, not impractical unity.

How can we bring our resources together to

help this important work that's happening, for example,

in Syria now.
