It's
been quite a while,
and,
you know, life happens
and, with a new baby.
I've been, been on the night shift as
they say. So we had to take a
little bit of a break from our Wednesday
gathering
here on Instagram.
We will use,
this platform for reflections on.
And then after finishing,
learning the 49th chapter of the Quran,
we'll move on to explaining the book.
So inshallah, when we finish Surah Hujurat,
then we will move
to explaining the book of the Imam of
So after we finish short of Hajjara to
move to the book of the life.
Hope everybody's doing great. Assi Islam from the
Bay Area.
Much love. You know? That's that's that's my
home,
is the is the San Francisco area and
San Jose.
So giving my warmest salaams to everybody. So
let's begin now.
This blessed month, the month of the birth
of the prophet
and and return back back to Surat Hujurat.
Surat Hujurat is a very important chapter,
the 49th chapter of the Quran. The last
complete chapter sent to the prophet
peace be upon him.
The last complete chapter
sent to the prophet is
and,
Dubai. Welcome to brothers and sisters from the
UK.
Let us know where you're watching from.
And
warmest greetings to each and every one of
you.
So the last complete chapter,
of
the Quran sent to Saydul Aqwan,
sent to our beloved Messenger Muhammad sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam
is Surat Al Hujarat.
And we said that another name for Surat
Hujurat is Surat Al Adeb,
a chapter of etiquette.
And we can see that the current state
of the world is such that
it's in need of etiquette.
Used to say that
that is
is orphaned.
A good character is orphaned.
And what do you mean by an orphan
is an orphan who's not cared for?
So it's it doesn't have anyone to look
after.
And the prophet
he located the importance of good character
when he said the closest of you to
me. How many of us tonight we would
love to be closest to the prophet
When Allah
blesses him with
the great intercession.
How many of us will want to be
near the prophet
And what is the way to draw nearer
to the prophet
is something that many people neglect,
and that's being a person of good character.
And good character means the sunnah.
Al Qadi Iyob, he said that good character
is the sunnah
of the prophet
So each and every one of us tonight,
myself,
all of us, we all have our moments,
of course, we have our lapses in good
character,
But this is an opportunity as we learn
Surat Al Hujarat
to be those nearest
to the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. How many
of you would love to be
next or near the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam?
And that's why some of our scholars used
to say
that one of the ways we can be
like the early Muslims
in our
relationship with the prophet
and our nearness to the prophet in the
hereafter is a good character.
The best of you or the closest of
you to me in the hereafter are going
to be those who have good character.
And the prophet
he said for the person who has good
character because maybe some of us were working
now,
Maybe university has recently started,
myself,
babies,
whatever. Right?
We may not have the time that we
used to have to worship.
Right? So, for example, it's hard for me
to fast, hard for me to pray at
night,
you know, up with a baby. Right? My
wife, of course,
is, you know, still nursing the baby.
So
sometimes we may feel
and maybe some sometimes sisters who are menstruating,
I've heard this, may feel like, what can
I do?
Like, I can't do certain acts of worship
for whatever reason. Maybe someone's ill.
What can we do to make up for
those times where we're not able to engage
in devotion?
The prophet
said,
listen to this hadith,
that the person who has good character
is going to reach the level of someone
who fasts,
nafl,
and prays in the night.
So these moments where we're not able to
do our liturgy,
right, our our regular acts of worship,
Let's
fill those moments with improving
our character.
And so that would
we may actually achieve more with our good
character than we did with those acts of
devotion.
We know that there were people in Medina
and the prophet
was told
that these people they worshiped a lot, SubhanAllah,
these people worshiped a lot and they prayed
a lot and they did a lot of,
like, great acts of worship. So I'm so
flipping to see if I can fix it.
Maybe the audio is better
now. Hopefully, the audio is better now.
And the prophet
was told
about those people.
And
even though they had engaged in a lot
of worship,
subhanallah,
they they didn't treat even animals correctly.
They mistreated animals.
And the prophet said about one of them,
a woman in particular,
that this woman will be in *. Like,
even though she does all these acts,
she doesn't have good character. That's why Muhammad
Al Qazabi, there's a great book you should
read. If someone
that's great. If someone can put
some thank you for telling me also. May
Allah bless
you. If someone can put in the notes
some of the references. So there's a book
that everyone really should read
by Mohammed Al Khazari
called Khulok Muslim.
The character of the Muslim.
It's a transformative
book.
It's a beautiful book. It's translated in English.
Muslim character.
And he talks about in there
how we have to translate our worship into
good character.
And that is the
the the profit of our worship.
The profit of
our is that our character increases.
So
affords us an opportunity
in moments where we may not be able
to worship as much as we normally would.
We
are now in those moments able to work
on our character. To be better husbands, to
be better fathers,
to be better sons, to be better mothers
and daughters and sisters, to be
better,
you know, umatis of the prophet So
is the 49th chapter of the Quran. And
of course, before we begin,
we make salawat upon Sayna Muhammad
salawat at least at least every day.
You should be making 300 salawat upon the
prophet at
least 300.
I've seen this with people
that they're they feel very, you know, down.
The world has suffocated
them.
Their marriages may be struggling.
They may have trouble with their children. And,
of course, we're not encouraging people not to
get professional help. It's not what I'm saying.
But what I've noticed is people who regularly
send salawat upon the prophet
They they experienced a change in their life.
There was a great book written by 1
Kashmiri scholar
called
B'Adam
al Murabbi.
This book is called
Hayat al Murabbi
Adam Almorabi.
This book
should be taught
is
worshiping Allah
in a time when there are no righteous
people.
Like worshiping Allah
in a time where it's hard to find.
And one of the things that sheikhul Kashmiri,
he says in that book is at least
every day. Make salawat upon the prophet
And our teacher said at a minimum 300
times a day.
The book that I'm gonna teach after we
finish.
You know, there's a true story. Imam Al
Jazuri is from Marrakesh. If you have anyone
here anyone here from Morocco,
Marrakesh, Imam Al Jazuri is from Marrakesh. He
died around 1704
in the common era.
And in fact, if you go to Marrakesh,
his
family, his great great great great great great
great grandchildren, they still gather there and read
And they can give you an Ijazah back
to him. And in Egypt and the Masjid
city of Abbas, every week every week, you
find people gathering to make
and read. And also in,
in Cairo, when I was in Cairo,
many of the Masajid, say the Nafisa, say
the Zainab, say the Imam al Husin.
All of those Masajid,
jamiei al azhar. You'll find what they call
Those
where people are gathering to make salawat upon
the prophet
Allah says in, the 33rd chapter of the
Quran,
Allah
upon the prophet and the
sent
upon the prophet
to take from darkness to light. So all
you understand is
if we send salawat upon the prophet
Allah will send salawat upon us and those
salawats from Allah
will take us from darkness to light. So
when we say Allah
Muhammad,
Allah says
this is called
the lamb for the reason. Why?
The prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa'alehi wasallam,
One day he was sitting with his Sahaba
and he became happy.
This hadith is authentic.
And they asked him sallallahu alaihi wa'alehi wasallam,
why are you so
happy? He said, because I was told
that anyone from my ummah.
I was it was said to me from
saying,
are you not happy to know
that anyone from your ummah who sends salawat
upon you, salallahu alaihi wasallam,
Allah will send 10 upon him.
Whoever sends upon me,
whoever sends upon me,
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will send 10
salawat upon
to receive 1
salah, dua,
and and and and and,
glad tidings from Allah
It's better than the dunya and everything in
it.
So imagine every time you say Allahu Musali
Alaa Muhammad
10.
So that's why the Quran says
That
upon the prophet
brings 10 salawats from Allah
and those salawats for us which is Allah
mentioning us
and granting
us
and will take us from darkness to light.
So allahi, any of the challenges you may
be facing
and any of the difficulties you may be
facing,
upon the prophet
and you can do it in the comments.
Muhammad. Even writing
it, there's a narration. The prophet
said whoever writes
in a text,
as long as that sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
is in that text, they will be forgiven.
So imam al jazuli as we'll talk about
it in a few weeks when we start
the book.
He was in his village sitting next to
a well, and he was extremely thirsty in
a well. He was traveling.
And he looked on the well, and there
was no rope, and there was no
basket,
you know, pail, excuse me, to take the
water.
So he became frustrated. He was so thirsty.
And he sat down, and he resigned himself
to a very difficult moment. And then he
saw
a a woman with some goats,
and she came
to this well. And this this is narrated
with
authentic chains. Listen to the story.
And
when she came,
she got water.
Her the water came up in the well.
And the water came out of the well,
and her goats
drank from the the side of the, you
know, the well.
But Imam Al Jazuli
was shocked,
and he said to her,
how did you do that?
She said
She said, I just make salawat upon the
prophet
as much as I can, and this happened.
And for this reason,
say the Imam Allah bless this
to happen.
Say the Imam Al Jazuri, he wrote the
book
We'll talk about the meaning. Those things that
guide you to goodness because sending salawat upon
the prophet brings good.
And the illumination
of light, the light in our heart. When
we say
Muhammad, Allah will illuminate
our hearts. So
means
the more we send salawat, we find greater
strength to worship Allah and follow what's right
and wrong.
With a heart which is alive.
Allah said the Quran is in for the
one who's alive.
So Imam Al Juzuri Al Madribi Al Ma'arakashi,
he wrote
that book because of that.
So teaches
us
with Allah
And what does it mean to have
with Allah?
Number 1
is to recognize him as the only ilah.
To recognize Allah is the only thing,
the only
thing worthy of worship.
The only
is
That's why the prophet
he said
authentic hadith. The best thing I and all
of the prophets before me said is.
It's so important to say that even Allah
says it to show us how important it
is.
And the angels and the people of knowledge.
So if I wanna be someone that is
recognized as a person of knowledge, let me
say
So the first etiquette with Allah is to
recognize Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
as the the sole
object of my worship and devotion.
The believers in the Quran, what what do
they say? Everything is to Allah.
And this is one of the problems of
the Ummah now.
Everything ain't for Allah.
And the
says
they were commanded to worship Allah and their
hearts
their
hearts are for Allah.
And the prophet sallallahu alayhi was salam Allah
commanded him
Say I was commanded to worship Allah
sincerely.
So the first the first
is etiquette with Allah is
to understand it, to live it,
to to translate
in my life.
Number 2 is dealing with what I want
and what I want should be for Allah.
So what do I want in my heart?
Allah
says,
So the second etiquette with Allah
is not to want the dunya
more than I want what's with Allah.
To not want anything in this dunya
more than I want was with Allah.
Allah says in the Quran,
what's with Allah will last?
And now we have to be very careful
of the monoculture
created by,
you know, when you when you come on
social media, when I come on social media,
you and I are facing a tidal wave
of AI
and there is
no way
that you and I
like, we're not properly equipped for it. It's
not a fair battle.
The octagon when you go in TikTok and
Instagram and and Facebook and Snapchat,
the octagon that you enter,
it's unfair. It's a unfair fight.
You're dealing with algorithms and AI that know
you, maybe even better than you know yourself,
know me better than I know myself.
So in those kind of moments,
in those kind of moments, we have to
be very careful of what's furnished around us
because one of the things that social media
does is it amplifies the beauty of the
dunya
and makes us feel as though the dunya
is a place of rest.
That the dunya is a place where we
can find permanent comfort,
and that's the greatest lie ever told.
We say that in
the right? The dunya is a is
a is a a bold which is eventually
going to be gone.
And that it is
not for a second. It's it's to be
traveled through and not to stay.
And that's why Allah
in the Quran.
When he talks to our parents Adam and
and Eve. He says
what that means is all of you get
out of paradise.
In other places in the Quran,
YouTube.
Why sometimes it's a plural? Because it's reminding
you and I
that this is not our home.
This is not our home.
That's why Allah says to Adam and and
his wife,
in the Arabic,
something
incredible.
Means find Sakina.
Reside is not the good translation.
The meaning from is from Sakina.
Sakina
Yeskun.
So subhanallah, the place of Sakina is Jannah.
When Allah talks
about
a go there.
Just go there.
It doesn't mention dunya as a place of
second.
It's a place of what?
So you lose you lose something and that's
why learning is very important and learning the
Quran is very important
and having access to people who can help
you navigate the Quran.
So the second etiquette with Allah,
That I don't want anything in this dunya
more than I want once with Allah in
the hereafter.
SubhanAllah.
The third etiquette with with Allah
So of course and and this second one
means we obey his commands, we avoid his
prohibitions.
Right? All that's in the the second.
The third is that we hold sacred what
Allah holds sacred.
As Allah says in the Quran,
Whoever
whoever magnifies
and honors what Allah
has recognized as sacred, this is from Taqwa.
And from one of the greatest
greatest
sacred,
objects that Allah has recognized
is
the the of the prophet
That's why Allah says about you guys
You're the best Ummah. No matter what people
tell us, man. No matter what we see
from the post colonialists,
from the anti Muslim bigots,
from from the
Allah
says,
The reason that they hate us is they
envy us
because we are emancipated
from what they're attached to.
They're attached to this world. And so when
they see people who are not attached to
this world,
they become insecure.
That's the that's the the the edifice of
this hatred
for Muslims because we don't live.
We don't live.
We don't live.
Right? To die.
We die to live.
That's very different. We don't live to die.
We die to live.
Allah
says that the
is the place to kick it. The
is the place to become like free like
a high on it. Not in this life.
So their hatred,
when you see people attacking Islam, why you
wear hijab, why you pray, why you have
a beard, why, you know, why do you
pray on Fridays? Why why why do you
fast? Why why why why
Allah said they envy what you have because
you are emancipated from what people want. And
you know this, when I was around my
friends, when I first became Muslim and I
stopped doing things that they were doing,
they would get in their feelings.
And the reason they would get in their
feelings is that there was a reminder in
front of them that someone could say no.
I don't do that.
And when asked why for Allah.
And that makes people oh, that makes people
nervous.
So the 3rd etiquette with Allah is
to hold sacred.
What Allah
has recognized is sacred.
And that's why we had to be very
careful as we're going to talk about soon
next week in
how we treat fellow Muslims.
How we treat each other?
The prophet
said this is
that this is forgiven.
That this is the constant object of mercy.
And the prophet
also in a sound hadith.
He said
that the is protected.
The is protected. It doesn't mean necessarily in
the material way
but protected in the hereafter.
For to love your fellow Muslims,
to be patient with each other,
not to destroy people.
Yesterday or the day before, I was in
a masjid
and one brother he came to me.
He said, these youth come into the masjid
and they don't know how to act. I
said, well, I didn't I didn't notice them.
I didn't notice them. Then he he told
me, sisters come here. They don't know how
to dress.
I told him, I didn't notice them.
He said, why? I said, I was with
Allah. I was with thinking about the prophet
thinking about my family, thinking about what's important
to me. You busy pushing people out of
the Masjid and then when they leave the
Masjid, you condemn them for not being in
the Masjid. But you push them out of
the Masjid.
If you kick everyone out of the hospital,
don't get upset.
If if,
you know, viruses start to spread,
be with Allah.
Why you always gotta be with the people?
And why you always gotta police people?
And always police in the most vulnerable in
the community.
Bullying the most vulnerable.
Why don't you go bully the powerful? Instead
of bullying the Muslims, we're already struggling. We're
already
barely, you know, able to hold ourselves up
and now you wanna come and bully us.
If if you were really as bold as
brave as you say you were, you would
go and bully and talk smack and police
the people who have power.
But you pick on what you perceive to
be
the weakest.
But what did the prophet
say? These people should fear Allah
Allah will help you
according to how much you help the weakest
amongst you.
We're not allowed as we're gonna talk about
it so to her You
should not bully people.
You should not bully anyone
especially
especially the Muslims, man. We we already you
know how many Muslims that you talk to
people in the mosque? People from Afghanistan.
How many people have died in their family
in the last few years?
You talk to people from Iraq, people from
Syria, people from Kashmir, people from Pakistan now.
A third of Pakistan is underwater, and you
wanna go and start yelling at people?
You you talk to people who struggle to
raise their children in this country and to
keep their children away from the Haram. And
now you wanna step to them and you
wanna become
the judge and the jury.
We have to we have to guide one
another.
We have to direct one another. I don't
like saying haram, please, because the haram is
sacred.
We believe haram is important, but there's a
way to to guide the people.
There's a way to encourage the people because
the prophet
who was merciful with the sinners, man. He
was merciful with people who struggled and he
was firm
on the arrogant.
He was
firm on the people who were harsh
as who said,
Satan
they said,
the weakest amongst you have the most right
over me. And the strongest amongst you are
the ones I'm gonna hold the most accountable.
So one of the
one of the things that Allah has
recognized as sacred is the
And how we treat one another, how we
talk to one another, how we engage one
another. This is a sign
of the love of Allah
If the prophet Sallallahu Wa Salam forbade the
Sahaba
to walk around Medina with their swords out
because they may inadvertently
poke somebody.
What would he say if he saw the
tongues of the Muslims now, man? And how
they poke one another with their tongues and
how they harm each other with their words
and their comments. So
teaches us first
with Allah.
Number 2,
obedience,
The prophet has made that what's halal clear,
what's forbidden clear.
The third, and this is a lot, is
to respect the things that Allah has identified
as sacred
and one of them is the ummah. The
other, the Quran
and the prophet That
takes us now up this verse as we
finish. I don't wanna take too much of
your time. I went over actually my my,
I I like to talk only in 30
minutes, but I said every Wednesday,
we're going to finish
and then
after we finish
we're going to read
A book about the virtues
of sending peace and blessings upon the prophet
Allah
says, recognize in the relationship we have with
the prophet. Pay attention to this. He says
after
Allah says
You have to know this.
The word in Arabic is used when you
think the listener doubts you.
Indeed, I am Suheb.
But it's called
in rhetoric.
It's used when you think maybe the listener
because maybe they're down, so you wanna inspire
them.
Like, you wanna keep up their hope. Maybe
they're, like, just flat out 100%
USDA approved Kufar, so you gotta hit them
with the in the in the end not
to wake them up.
But look at the context here in and
I want everyone to think about this.
The verses that just came before this
were not easy.
Like, they're not easy verses.
Allah.
Don't raise your voices louder than the message
of Allah.
So these verses that come before this moment,
they're harsh.
There are verses that bring about discipline because
mercy
can't exist without discipline.
Mercy doesn't exist without conformity.
We all have to work to make our
lives Sharia compliant.
That is how we experience mercy.
And then
we know the got tricked. Someone brought some
news to them. We talked about that last
time,
and they were deceived by that. So the
verses that came
before the verse that they were about to
read now, pay attention.
They're harsh.
But Allah
says
no and he doesn't say if you speak
Arabic,
he doesn't
say
This is rhetoric in Arabic. It's called
It's playing with the language
because the word means to be in,
To be inside.
I can say
coffee
is in the glass.
If you wanna know,
does the prophet's teachings really help me?
Are the prophet's teachings out of date?
Just because Muslims don't know how to live
the prophetic model for you, so it's it's
it's gets confusing, man.
And you wonder
how well does the prophet know me as
2,022?
In you is the messenger of Allah.
As if to say the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasalam
is so close to you, it's like he's
in you.
Subhanallah.
You lose something in English,
but out of his love, out of his
concern,
out of his
attachment to his ummah.
So there should be no doubts about his
teachings.
And why is this used
in talking to the Sahaba?
Because they those first verses are harsh, man.
Those first verses are tough.
So don't be sad.
You've been you you got disciplined?
We put you in check?
The Quran
addressed your unruly behavior,
but don't let it break you.
The prophet is
in you, amongst you.
And that's why, you know,
we have to be very careful about attacking
people who celebrate the motive of the prophet
Because there's no in love.
There's no innovation in being a lover.
Especially the lover of the prophet
The prophet
None of you will believe until you love
me more than anything.
Till you love me more than everything.
And the prophet said
He
said,
you have to teach your children to love
your messenger.
And the family of the messenger
while Quran and the Quran.
So the prophet he ordered us to teach
his love.
And there's a great
poem
of Ahmed Shalki that talks about people who
may attack you
because you love Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
He
says,
oh, you who blame blame me for loving
Muhammad
You
you love me. You you blame me
because of my love.
But subhanAllah
is Qadr.
Love is from Allah,
love is my Qadr.
If you felt
what I felt,
you would not blame me, You would not
attack me.
Meaning, if you love the prophet
as the way I love the prophet
If you knew the prophet like I know
the prophet
you wouldn't blame me for my love of
the prophet.
So the prophet
someone is saying, you should be harsh when
defending the one who's been wrong. That harshness
is mercy.
In Islam, we don't have that dichotomy to
stand for justice
and to hold people accountable
and to remind people of *. This is
Rahma.
As is Rahma, mercy to be kind
and soft in the right place. We don't
separate
mercy in that way. So when we hold
ourselves accountable and when we remind people to
obey Allah and we demand that wrongs are
righted,
that's also rahma. That is considered rahma. That's
why I told people. In the in the
time of mauled, you should read about you
should
read the battles of the prophecies.
You should teach people about the jihad of
the prophecies. Why? Because in his battles is
Rahmah
give people a complete picture
of the prophet
So that's a great point that you made.
I'm so glad you made it because it
allowed me to make sure we are staying
balanced here.
But we're not so harsh with people that
we break them.
That's very different. The door of redemption is
open.
Know that the messenger of Allah is in
you. And if he was to obey you
in most of the things that you are
pushing,
But Allah
has made
a man decorated a man in you and
made disbelief hated to you.
And sin and rebellious
rebelliousness.
And this is a gift from Allah for
you. That Allah has done this is
the
word is the word means increase.
So
a from Allah
because Allah
Allah has
given this from his bounties to you. That
you're a Muslim. That you say
that you have this balance. That you follow
the prophet
All of this is a fadl from Allah
So
So Allah says that he has beautified iman
for you. May disbelief and sin and rebelliousness
hate it to you.
And that this is from the bounties and
blessings of Allah and those who receive this
are on the right path.
And Allah is the best knower.
The the the the the transcendent in his
wisdom
and transcendent in his knowledge. Inshallah,
we're going to
stop here inshaAllah.
And next week we will continue. I'm going
to talk about what happens when the Muslim
community fights one another.
When the believers fight one another, what happens?
How should we carry ourselves? And this is
one of the things that I wanna challenge
you to think about
as I finish.
Are you imagining what Islam is
Or are you informed about what Islam is?
It's very important that we understand
that we can't just imagine what we think
Islam is
Because Islam isn't ours. Islam is the dean
of Allah.
So, we have to make sure that we
engage in informing ourselves
And how do we best inform ourselves
by dipping ourselves
into
the depths of the Quran
with people who can teach the Quran
not just anybody
and engaging the sunnah of the prophet
So inshallah, we'll finish shorter her Jurat
in the next 3 or 4 weeks.
And then after that, we're going to start
reading
So we can begin to habituate
the love of the prophet in our life
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and the that
we should be making every day. When I
was memorizing Sahih al Bukhari,
I asked my teacher,
I can't memorize Sahil Bukhari.
Why?
So he told me.
I thought he was gonna tell me, you
know, how to study some study tips, life
hacks.
The best life hack
you can have and everyone spread this on
social media.
The best life hack
is an abundant
salawat upon the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
That doesn't mean we ignore, of course, like
professional,
resources. Allah
has created all that. But the best life
hack
is
says this to take you from darkness to
light. I I see people fighting more about
other Muslims than they make salawat upon the
prophet. That's why they feel the way they
feel.
You're attacking other Muslims more or other people
more or fighting more with other people arguing
more with other people
than you're making salawat upon the prophet salallahu
alayhi wa sallam. And then a person
wonders why they feel
like they don't feel well. I mean, it's
right there in front of you. It's right
there in front of you. So the best
life hack honestly that will bring transcendent
divine light into your
life
is to send salawat upon the prophet
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. So after we finish
Surah Hajjuraat Insha'Allah,
we'll move on to
the
book. If there's any questions, you can take
some questions. Always this Friday, we have our
q and a. Again, inshaAllah, every week now.
Things have stabilized on my end. My apologies.
But alhamdulillah, with a new baby, you know,
I I don't have anything to apologize for,
man.
It's it's a wonderful experience and make dua
for us. Alhamdulillah.
And to be in the service of my
family
allows me to live the sunnah of the
prophet
as Sayida Aisha said,
that the prophet used to serve his family.
And I had a teacher years ago, go
to his house to read Quran to him,
and he was busy with his kids, his
wife. You know, he was doing so many
things in the house.
Then I said to him,
I can go.
Like, I don't have to read to you
now.
He said, now you learn the of the
prophet
you have any questions, we can take them.
If not, insha'Allah,
we will,
you know,
move to Friday insha'Allah. How does someone start
incorporating
the prayers
on the prophet?
So start every day like with a number
that you can accomplish and don't think so
much about the number.
Think about
drowning in the love of the prophet
When you know, sometimes at iftar, you see
people that can eat, like, 10 or 12
samosas.
And you say to them, bro, you just
ate, like, 10 or 12 samosas.
What did they say?
Man, I thought I only ate 3. I
just I love them so much.
Sometimes you see people, they're watching their favorite
show
on Netflix or whatever,
and they watch, like, 10 to 12 episodes.
You say, yo,
man. You need to stop watching. Man, I
love the show.
So when we love something, we lose count.
When we love something, we lose count.
So don't think so much about
how many,
And don't expect to feel something.
It's enough of a blessing
that you said
Allah Muhammad
that you don't need a feeling.
This is a mistake people make.
Man, You know, I pray, I didn't feel
anything. But you don't worship the feeling, you
worship Allah.
So just the fact that you worshiped
is a significant
evidence
of your value
and worth.
The fact that you are saying Allahu Masaliyah
Muhammad
and Allah is responding to you with 10
salawat
is
more than any feeling you could ever have.
Is more than any feeling you could ever
have.
So don't worry about feeling something.
And and don't rush transformation.
Allow yourself to grow organically
and love and appreciate yourself. And I want
to say something very important.
Oftentimes,
Muslims,
they feel so bad about themselves.
Let that go.
Like, let that go.
The fact that you worry about that is
a sign of your intrinsic value
and that Allah
loves you
and that Allah is calling you to the
help.
So don't worry
too much about that stuff.
Just experience
the love of Allah that Allah guided you
to say
Let's start at least, you know, our macheyikh,
they told us 300 a day. Maybe it's
difficult for people to do 300 a day.
And
says something nice. You don't always have to
be like fully in the zone.
We have some
some of our teachers.
Because the prophet
he said when you hear my name, make
salawat upon me.
When you when you
hear my
name,
send some
of our teachers,
even
some people if their name is like,
Even if someone around us, their name is
Mohammed or Ahmed,
and somebody will say their name are.
Even though the they're talking about another person
because the name of the prophet was mentioned.
That's why the
in salah in salah and in Jummah,
if you hear the name of the prophet,
you're allowed to
say as long as it's not too loud.
So if someone's reading,
If you hear the word Mohammed, you can
say
So don't worry about always being in the
zone. Imam said, the
power of
is that maybe sometimes
sometimes you
your mind ain't there,
but the is more powerful than you're like
because Allah created us.
It's impossible for us to always be like
Muhammad.
So the noor from the
can bring
that you can imagine.
So don't
don't compose.
Just be with Allah.
Be with the prophet
Any other questions inshallah
before we go.
We're gonna do our q and a's again,
this Friday, and I I wanna stop in
3 minutes. I usually try to go for
40 minutes max.
But tonight, forgive me. You know, maybe went
on a little tangent. May Allah forgive me,
for taking your time.
Can
you do while driving? Of course. Allah says
those who remember standing,
sitting, and lying down.
And, of course, we have a dua for
driving found in the 43rd chapter of the
Quran.
Right?
Praise glorify be the one who allowed this,
subjugated this thing for me.
Allah is everywhere by his knowledge and
his perceptions
of Of course,
may Allah
increase all of you and khair, and we
will see,
all of you next
week, same time
and ask Allah to bless you. Have a
wonderful week. May Allah protect you, protect your
family
and keep you inshallah and
and may Allah
make everything,
easy for us in this life and the
next. Is it haram to visit a church?
No. It's not haram to visit a church.
It's not haram to visit a church. Of
course not.
To you.
