Suhaib Webb – ‘Arafah & Your Life

			This day of Arafa is incredibly powerful because
		

			it reminds us of something that people like
		

			to forget and that's the hereafter, specifically
		

			the day of Hashar when people are gathered
		

			with no clothing
		

			in this plane and the sun is nothing
		

			but a few miles above their head and
		

			the only thing they can turn to as
		

			they evaluate their lives
		

			is their iman
		

			and their amal.
		

			And people rush to all of the prophets
		

			asking them to please ask Allah to start
		

			the hereafter
		

			and finally it will come to say to
		

			Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
		

			will say, this is my job. And then
		

			he'll be granted the great intercession.
		

			So now think about this.
		

			As you look at the state of Arafa,
		

			examine your deeds,
		

			examine your iman, forget all your possessions
		

			and let you and let me ask ourselves,
		

			are we ready to stand in front of
		

			Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala with what we've earned
		

			in this dunya? If not,
		

			let's get better.
