The prophet

taught us numerous ways to bring value to

the lives of children, but here are 3

we can all do. The first is that

he would acknowledge them and a say Bhamalik

when he would walk through the streets in

his old age, he would say salaam to

children

playing. And someone asked him, why do you

do that? He said, I saw the prophet

used

to give salaams to kids.

The second thing is to reinforce them with

love.

The word hab and hub, seed and love

is related because when you love someone, you

plant something in them and they will blossom.

Hence, the prophet used to say about Sayedna

Al Hasan when he would be playing on

the prophets back, oh Allah, I love him,

so love who loves him. And finally is

to teach them, to instruct them.

He narrates the hadith about saying Bismillah and

eating with your right hand and eating what's

close to you. He narrated that hadith in

his eighties and he said, the prophet taught

this to me when I was a child.

So these are 3 things we can do

to bring value to children.
