AI: Summary ©
The speakers discuss the importance of Islam as a master plan for every aspect of life, including taking care of one's health and family. They stress the importance of setting boundaries and having faith in Islam, especially during the third week of the month ofFinancial, when it is a recitation in the Bible. The importance of protecting loved ones and small contributions is also emphasized. The speakers stress the importance of learning from past experiences and avoiding regretting them, and provide guidance on how to handle one's situation and handle future events. They also ask for people to grant their mercy and forgiveness, shower their mercy and forgiveness, and plant seeds of profit.
AI: Summary ©
We begin by praising Allah,
the Lord of the universe, our creator, our
nourisher, our sustainer, our protector.
And we begin by sending peace and salutations
upon his beloved messenger,
Muhammad, the son of Abdullah,
a final messenger of
Allah My brothers and sisters, I hope and
pray that you are all doing well by
the grace and mercy of Allah
Indeed, it is a great blessing of Allah
that he has brought us now to the
18th day of Ramadan.
And
tonight, at Maghrib time, 19th night, starting
getting very close to the last 10 nights
days of Ramadan. My brothers and sisters,
you know, I was reflecting upon this
that since last Ramadan,
only Allah knows
as to
how many times
there were instances
where Allah
could have decided
to call me back to him.
How many instances there were? Meaning
situations
where we could have easily had a cause
for us to return to Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala.
And Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala could have decided
if he had willed
to put us through that situation as a
means of being called back to him.
And I was also reflecting upon, especially in
this situation, you know, the circumstances that we
are living in,
that how many instances perhaps there were
that
we came close
to the virus.
Right? So many instances perhaps
for those who have been,
been saved from the virus or meaning they
have not been infected.
SubhanAllah, like, so many situations and places perhaps
that we were or people that we came
close to, you know, who perhaps were infected
who and did not know about it.
And,
you know, perhaps the the virus was present
in the same room that we were present.
Perhaps it was inside the person who was
just in front of us that we were
speaking to.
Or perhaps it even came into our body,
but there was no effect.
Perhaps it already came into our bodies and
it's especially happening with this because there are
people who are infected who are positive but
they're asymptomatic, they don't have any symptoms.
So perhaps Allah
gave our body,
our immune system strength
to fight back
or perhaps it was the effect with Allah's
mercy and permission, of course, of dua
or of some charity that we gave that
removed this hardship from us or delayed it
or removed it altogether
or perhaps some other act of goodness that
we did that Allah
liked And as as a result of that
or perhaps some dua we made that Allah
did not grant us
visibly or apparently
based on what we were asking for, but
perhaps as a as as a in return,
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala instead
removed us
or removed this hardship or some calamity such
as, serious health conditions as a result of
the virus coming to us. Only Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala knows best. And perhaps there was
a fact. There are many brothers and sisters,
you know, in the community
and all around,
who have,
tested positive previously,
and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala gave them strength.
Perhaps you were one of them. Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala gave strength to your body to
fight back and to recover.
Only Allah knows about this and so many
other matters. And, honestly, when we think about
the possibilities
of all the things that could go wrong
in our lives, all the things that,
you know, could become a means or a
a a a cause or not cause, but
rather a means, you know, for for some
hardship and calamity coming towards us, yet it
doesn't happen. Right? This is only and only
through the sheer grace and mercy of Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. And only Allah
knows about this. It's so many other matters.
It's really mind boggling when you think about
it. Right? Of all the risks and the
dangers that we face on, on a daily
basis, yet nothing happens to us. And, alhamdulillah,
we still function safely and normally except, of
course, when Allah wills. And Allah tells us
in the Quran.
That with him, with Allah
are the keys of the unseen.
No
one knows them except him. No one knows
about those things except Allah
And he knows what is in the land
and the sea, the depths of the oceans,
subhanallah. You know, it's like a completely new
world down there. Allah knows
every single fact, every single detail
of every single creature and every single
iota that exists in the depths of the
ocean,
in the land and the sea, every single
thing that exists, Allah
is aware of
it and knows everything about it. And then
he goes on to say,
Not even a leaf
falls without his knowledge. You know, we think
about maybe in some countries it'll be difficult
to imagine this because the climate is always
warm and the trees are barely ever shed
leaves. But, subhanallah, you think about our fall
or autumn season. Right? And people go to
look at, you know, rhapsody,
you know, the colors,
in, or whatever they call it, you know,
on the Gatineau Hills,
and people go and and and and take
in the the the beauty
of these leaves, the colors that Allah puts
in them as they die, as they wither,
and as they die. Right? And we see
how many leaves are there. And Allah says,
not even a light leaf falls without his
knowledge,
nor a grain in the darkness of the
earth.
Nor a grain in the darkness of the
earth. Imagine how many seeds you go drive
around the farms.
Right? How many seeds are planted into the
ground
that are getting ready to sprout or that
are already sprouting as the rain is coming
down today. This is from the mercy of
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Now let's talk about
looking outside when it's really nice. Today it's
really cloudy and gray and it's raining,
but we change our perspective about how we
look at things. Right? When I look outside,
yes, it looks like a bit, you know,
gloomy weather, but what I see is the
mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. What I
see is purification from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Purifying our earth for us. You know, nourishing
the earth for us so that it can
grow back. It can come back alive. And
these are from the signs of Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala. The examples that he gives of
how we human beings are gonna be brought
back to life as well. The earth was
barren, was dead, it was frozen, it was
cold. Right? Most of the plants were gone.
They're dead. No fruits, no vegetables, no flowers.
Subhanallah, they're coming back now. Right? So nor
a grain in the darkness of the earth
or anything
green or dry.
Except that it is written in a perfect
record. Everything is accounted for by Allah
Everything is in the knowledge of Allah
and Allah
has the master plan. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
has
the master plan of everything that is to
happen and everything
that is
to be, shown
or everything that is to to to happen
to every single one of us
through the course
of our lives.
Now the last test
begin on Sunday night,
will be the 21st night of Ramadan.
And this is the time of brothers and
sisters to take it up a notch.
What is the time for? To take it
up a notch.
And the reason for that, of course, is
Aisha
tells us
that when the last 10 nights of Ramadan
arrived, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
would tighten his belt, spend the night in
worship and awaken his family. Right? So meaning
he would become more determined, more focused
and he would spend the night in worship.
What will he do?
He would spend the night in worship, and
he would awaken his family as well. So
we should try also to encourage our family
members. Of course, we wanna do it kindly
and nicely. We want to be considerate,
for those who have school and work and
all of those things. So, of course, we
want to try to be kind,
and and and and polite,
but try to encourage and build an environment
in the home that we have, you know,
focus on spending more of our night or
as much of our night as possible in
the worship of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
And,
in another narration
in in Sahih Muslim,
she said
that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam would exert
himself in worship during the last 10 nights
of Ramadan
more so than any other time. Okay? So
this was really, like, you know, the the
the final run. This was the the last
10 nights are basically the, of course, the
last 3rd of the month of Ramadan.
And it's like and I give this example,
you know, of sports. It's like the playoffs
and the finals. Okay? So Ramadan is like
the playoffs, and, basically, the last 10 are
like the finals. Okay? This is when you
really wanna make sure that, you know, you're
you're doing everything that you possibly can to
come out as a winner. Okay? So, of
course, that will vary based on,
individual strength and stamina and, circumstances, of course.
But whatever our situation is, whatever we have
been able to do rather than Allah has
guided us to do, has given us sofiyyah
to do in the 1st 20 days of
Ramadan, we wanna try to push it or
at least have the desire, the intention to
push it a bit further as much as
possible in the last 10 nights.
And this is also, of course, a good
time to ask ourselves as well, right, to
do a little check-in. So, okay, how's it
been going? The second 10 of the month
of Ramadan. Right? The second, 3rd.
How was it compared to the first 3rd?
K. Well, compared to the 1st 10 nights
days,
because our recitation of Quran improved, how is
our heart feeling? I talked about that last
week. And at that point, you know, something
you should we should be starting perhaps to
feel something in our hearts. You know, is
fasting having some impact on us? The state
of our salah, the prayers
and, you know, especially at night and how
are duas going. And, again, we have a
chance now to set things straight even if
perhaps, you know, it's not going so well.
There's an opportunity here to pause and
reflect
and figure out how to,
go about,
how how to go about, improving
our situation.
Now my brothers and sisters,
the prophet
at this time, what will we do? He
would focus all of his mental energies towards
taking advantage of this time. That would be
his focus.
You know? And
his,
he would head for the masjid and seclude
himself there. He would perform a heiqaaf.
His wedding would be taken to the Masjid.
He would put up a tent. Right? And
he wouldn't leave unless it was absolutely necessary,
and he would never arrange to have his
food brought to him as well. And if
there's anything important to discuss with the family,
they would come to speak to him there.
Okay. Now, of course, during the situation, there
probably isn't going to be any anti kaf
in the Masjid,
maybe in some, but I don't I don't
know. But I think it's probably unlikely.
So we try as much as possible, you
know, to to
to devote ourselves to worship inside of our
homes. You know, if you want to choose
a corner in your home
and and try to do, you know, some
sort of a etiquette there
with the intention knowing that, okay, etiquette should
be done in the masjid,
especially, you know, for the brothers, there's a
difference of opinion whether a woman can do
it at home or not. But, nonetheless, you
know, let us try to do whatever we're
able to do. Right? When the circumstances are
out of our control, then whatever is possible,
we try to do. Right? And the rest
is up to Allah
because he knows our intention, and he knows
what we are capable of doing under the
circumstances, what are what the limitations are as
well. And one of the main objectives of
all of this effort was to catch the
crown jewel, right, which is.
Muhammad,
and he would say,
and he would say, search for
the night of decree in the last 10
nights of Ramadan. Another narration,
Search
in the odd nights out of the last
10 nights of Ramadan.
Now
what is Laylatul Qadr? And that question is
asked. Right? Allah asks a similar question in
Surah Al Qadr.
Right?
What will make you know what the night
of Qadr is?
And what will make you know what the
night of Qadr is? The Allah answers the
question.
The night of Qadr is better than a
1000 months. Right? Better, not equal, but high.
Better than a 1000 months.
Right? So one night, which is not more
valuable than which is more valuable not just
than a week,
not just than a month or a year,
but a 1000 months.
Better than a 1000 months. Just 83 years
4 months. Right?
You know, again and I give that example
and,
you know, you
could, you you went to work one day
and you earned for an entire lifetime. Can
you imagine that?
Right? Or, you know, you you went and
and bought something. You signed up for something,
and it was for the entire you paid
for only one day, but it was actually
for the rest of your life. Can you
imagine how excited people would be? Can you
imagine what the line you know, what the
lineups would be like? So
now what does that mean? Better than a
1000 months? So good deeds performed on it,
standing in prayer in it are better than
a 1000 months worth of good deeds in
prayer. SubhanAllah.
Right? This is a tremendous gift, my brothers
and sisters. A tremendous blessing and gift from
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. And we have been
commanded to search for it by the prophet
in the last last 10 nights. There's no
fixed date. Right? I mean, there are narrations
that indicate with 27th.
The scholars have discussions about that. You know,
is it 27th every year or was it
27th a not particular year when the prophet
gave that indication. Right?
But nonetheless, the matter has been, hidden
from, from us and even from the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam because he was told the
date but then was made to to forget,
due to people who are who are arguing,
debating and arguing. So therefore
quarreling.
So therefore, it is something which has been
hidden, and it is honestly the wisdom is
for our own benefit because now, you know,
at least we worship on 5 nights. Right?
The 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th,
and 29th as opposed to just focusing on
1. Right? And then one of them hopefully
will be
the later tulipat.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam,
would say when Ramadan would come, Abu Huraira
radiAllahu anhu tells us, the prophet would say,
Ramadan. Rarely, the month of Ramadan has come
to you.
It is a blooded busted month.
During it,
Allah has obligated you all to fast. And
during the it's the gates of Jannah, of
paradise are opened. The gates of * are
closed.
And
and the devils are
shackled.
In it, there's a night that is better
than 1 1000 months.
Whoever is deprived of its good, then he
has been truly deprived.
Right? So my brothers and sisters, this is
a moment, this is a time where we
don't wanna be in a situation where we
end up depriving ourselves or we end up
doing things or having an attitude. What leads
us to being deprived from the blessings and
the goodness of this time Allah
grant us the best, of Laylatul Qadr. Allah
grant us the very best in terms of
strength to, and tofir to do the actions
and the best acceptance and reward from Allah
Now aside from the fact that worship during
the night of Qadr is equivalent to the
worship performed over greater 1,000 months, it is
also confirmed
from Abu Huraira
that the messenger of Allah
said recorded in the 2 Sahih
Muslim.
Whoever stands in prayer during the night
with faith
with faith, it's conditional. Right? Same with fasting
and standing in the nights of Ramadan and
including them on the night of Qadr, standing
meaning in prayer. Right? Whoever stands in prayer
during the night of Al Qadr, it doesn't
just end there.
With faith.
Right? So this is why our faith is
so important. Right? Our our beliefs are so
important. So with faith, with perfect faith in
Allah and
expecting reward from Allah
So having good expectations from Allah
Right? Seeking reward from
Allah
You'll be forgiven
for his or her previous sins. May Allah
make us for amongst these people.
Now Allah also tells us
that therein on this night,
they send the angels and the ruh.
The ruh is not just like the ruh
of anyone who's passed away. The ruh is
referring to Angel Jibril alayhi Salaam. In the
Quran, when we talk about a ruh, when
Allah talks about a ruh referring to referring
to
angel Jibril alayhi salaam.
So they descend by their lord's permission
with every matter, meaning the angels descend in
abundance during the night of Al Qadr
due to its abundant blessings, and the angel
descend
with the descend with the descending of blessings
and mercy just as they descend when the
Quran is recited and just as they surround
the circles of the of the remembrance of
Allah
So the angels descend on mass
on this blessed night, and
the commentators have said the early commentators of
the Quran have said that the matters are
determined during it. The matters,
right, are determined during it, and the times
of death
and provisions are measured out, meaning they're decided
during it. Okay? So the final, you know,
the, the the instructions are given to the
angels.
Therein is decreed every matter of decree. And
the commentators mentioned that on the
decrees are transferred
to the angelic scribes
who write down the decrees of the coming
year, including
lifespan,
including provision, and what will happen until the
end of the year.
Right? So it's it's again, it's remarkable when
we think about it or reflect upon that.
But on this night,
who knows which decree is gonna be coming
down for me and for you, for every
single one of us? What Allah
has already decreed, but what what instructions will
be given to the angels to carry out
in the coming year.
And,
you know, as mentioned, it has to do
with our life. It has to do with
illness. It has to do with our provisions.
Right? And all the different things that are
destined to happen that Allah has decided
are to happen to us in the coming
year, and nobody knows. Right? This is where
we feel small and we feel humble and
we feel helpless almost
that there's
who knows?
Only Allah knows what he has decreed and
what is gonna be coming down on that
particular night. Right? And a person
a person may have, you know, be may
be totally oblivious to what decree is down
on with regards to them, right, with regards
to goodness or with or with regards to
hardship,
right, with regards to their life, with regards
to their illness, especially as we live in
a time of, you know, illness and uncertainty.
SubhanAllah.
But the prophet
has told us that nothing can change the
divine decree except du'a.
That Right? There is nothing that can change
the divine decree except
du'a. And the prophet
also said in a sound narration that
that no precaution
can protect against the decree of Allah.
No precaution
can protect against the decree of Allah. What
Dua The
Dua is beneficial
with regards to what has been decreed and
what has
not
been
decreed.
The
Dua meets
the calamity that has been decreed and wrestles
with it until the day of resurrection. So
my brothers and sisters, we learn from this
that Dua is very, very powerful.
Right? And if Allah
has willed something
for us, some calamity or some, you know,
or or whatever he has decreed for us,
if we make dua, right, that could be
one way, one means,
right, possibly one of the only means
or one of the few means of changing
that decree of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, protecting
us against that decree of Allah Subhanahu
Now, of course, Allah
is the most knowledgeable as we discussed in
the beginning. So Allah
already knows what's gonna happen. Allah
already knows what choices we're going to make.
Allah knows what du'a is we are to
make. However,
that decree of Allah
right, that Allah has already decreed for us,
it would be in Allah's knowledge. It is
in Allah's knowledge if we are to make
dua that Allah would change that. But the
reason
for changing that decree is because we chose
to make that dua, because we took that
step. We had that concern. We took that
step and that reliance on Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala that we made dua. So the dua
is extremely powerful. At the end of the
day, it's up to Allah to accept that
dua. It's up to Allah
whether the decree is changed or not. But
our concern and our effort has value. That
is something which is important, and we are
not people who are taught to leave everything
because Allah has already decreed it, and we
are we have resigned ourselves to the decree
of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. That's not the
way it works. Until the decree comes, we
are to take
our steps and our precautions and, you know,
make,
try to come up with, you know, the
best decisions.
But once the decree of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala comes, then we accept that decree because
we know that whatever comes to us or
whatever hits us couldn't have missed us, and
whatever misses us could not have come to
us, whether it was positive or negative. No
more protects
us all. The prophet
has also told us that whoever would like
like his risk provision to be increased
and his life to be extended, his or
hers, of course, then should uphold the ties
of kinship,
should uphold the ties of kinship. And this
potentially possibly has to do with the decree
of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala as well. That
if a person,
upholds the ties of kinship is good to
his relatives or her relatives, Allah
would increase their provision because of this goodness
of theirs
or would increase their lifespan that would have
been otherwise if they had not
been good to their relatives or if they
had not upheld their ties of kinship. But
there's another meaning to this as well potentially,
and that is that a person, you know,
who is good to their relatives, has good
relations.
Right? Those good relations have a an impact
on them psychologically and emotionally,
right, which end which lead them to having,
you know, more blessings and having more provisions
and that also lead them to lead them
to having,
you know, good health, which
ends up in them living longer as opposed
to what would have happened otherwise if they
had had bad relations. But at the end
of the day at the end of the
day, it is all dependent upon the will
of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. The prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam also saying in a sound
narration
that nothing can ward off the divine decree
except dua, and nothing can increase lifespan except
honoring one's parents. So once again, we find
that good relations with our with our relatives
and especially
our close relatives is something that has an
effect on us,
of course, mentally, and emotionally,
but also will have an impact on us
with regards to the decree of Allah
with regards to our lifespans.
So let us think, my brothers and sisters,
you know, when this decree is coming down
for us on on on on,
you know, what should be our approach?
What good should we do in case the
decree for us is serious?
Increase the decree for us is serious because
only Allah knows best. And, subhanallah, in this
3rd wave of the pandemic, we see this,
the people who were safe,
who made it so far.
Right?
Who made it so far, but subhanallah, it
was the will of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Allah's decree that at the end, you know,
it was the will for them that this
would be the time when they would actually
be tried and this is the time when
they would return to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Right? So we don't know what Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala has decreed for us, but and,
of course, this applies all the time. Right?
We don't know what is in the future,
what Allah has written for us. But in
particular, when it comes to the time of
late at Qadr and this time of of
Ramadan,
it is good for us to take this
opportunity to reflect and think that if Allah
has written a change in my situation, and
we ask Allah to protect us from, you
know, being deprived of his blessings or having
his blessings taken away from us. But if
Allah has written
some hardship with regards to my my my
health, with regards to my finances, right, what
should I be doing right now? What should
I be doing right now in terms of
goodness that I'm able to do that That
Allah has still given me an opportunity to
do that perhaps will not be there in
the future in the coming year. Or what,
you know, what steps should I take now
to to to try to avert that calamity
by turning to Allah
making dua and giving charity and doing things
which could have an impact.
Now
our our prior predecessors
understood
that whatever came to be, positive or negative,
was from the decree of Allah
And And there's a very relevant example. I
may have mentioned this before, but I'll do
it again. In one instance, Umar departed
for Syria. And when he arrived, he found
that a plague had broken out. Right? There
was a an epidemic. There was a plague.
So Omar
announced that they would return to Madinah. They
would not continue,
right, because there's a plague. So he said
he was gonna return to Madinah.
So Abu Ubaydah
questioned him
saying that, you know, do you flee from
the decree of Allah,
Are you fleeing from the decree of Allah
that you're going to Syria, you're going to
a place, and there's the plague there?
Are you why are you turning back? Are
you fleeing from the decree of Allah?
So Sayna Umar
replied and he said,
you know, I wish that another had said
so, oh Abu Ubaydah. You know, would that
another person had said so, oh Abu Ubaydah.
Yes. We are fleeing from the decree of
Allah to the decree of Allah.
We are fleeing from the decree of Allah
to the decree of Allah. Do you not
see that if you had camels descending in
a valley with 2 fields okay. If you
had camels, right, any animal, descending down in
a valley with 2 fields. 1 of them
is fertile. The other is barren.
You would graze in the fertile field by
the decree of Allah, or would you graze
in the barren field by the decree of
Allah? So say now Amr
understood that whatever happened as a result of
his actions was from the decree of Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala. So he should act accordingly
and consider the causes of events. Right? In
this case, he avoided the plague as he
understood it to be a cause of harm.
So, you know, it's often mistakenly assumed that
trusting in Allah's decree means that we should
not act. Right? Like a person who doesn't
wear his seat belt. Right, thinking that it
has no effect on what Allah
chooses to ordain. But the the example of
Sayidna Umar shows
us that the real trust in Allah means
that one should act upon the pattern of
causes that we observe
in daily life.
If he does so, then it was from
the decree of Allah and avoiding what harms
him has been commanded. Allah ordains its occurrence
while he flees from it. If he did
it or left it, it would be from
the decree of Allah. Hence, there are 2
perspectives, the perspective of reliance upon Allah and
the perspective of holding 2 causes. And
writes that the servant has 2 states. The
servant has 2 states of being in relation
to what is decreed,
a state before the decree and a state
after the decree. It is a duty upon
him before the decree to seek refuge in
Allah, to depend, to rely upon him, and
to call upon him. If the result of
the decree is not from his actions, then
he must be patient over it and satisfied
with it. If it was the result of
his actions and it is a blessing, he
praises Allah for that. And if it was
the result of a sin, then he seeks
forgiveness
from Allah
for that. So my brothers and sisters, the
point here is, to summarize, is that we
don't know what Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has
will for us in the future. Right? Those
decrees will be coming down.
The instructions for the coming year will be
given to the angels, and only Allah knows
what is in those instructions and what Allah
is decreeing for us. There are 2 things
that we can do. So first of all,
we take these actions that are that are
given to us in terms of making dua
and, you know, having good relations with our
relatives
and, upholding the ties of kinship
and so on and so forth. So we
do these actions, right, with the hope and
and and the, you know, the the the
expect not really the expectation, but the hope
really to that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will
avert
these,
the the decree that is harmful to us
in some way or that may be harmful
to us,
or apparently harmful to us, that Allah will
avert it and replace it with something good.
So we should make dua and we should
have that expectation.
And also secondly, we should be taking the
means,
right, based on what is apparent to do
the best action and take the best possible
course of action under any circumstance.
But after that, right, after we have done
what we could do, after we have tried
our best
and physically and spiritually turning to Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala, then after that whatever decree of
Allah comes, that is something that we accept,
and that is something that we are satisfied
with. Knowing that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will
do for us whatever is best for us
even if we're not able to see it
and even if we're not able to understand
it. Okay? So, yes, we we try our
best
beforehand,
make dua, take the means,
but after that, you leave it up to
Allah
right, and not be continuously anxious about it
and worried about it. And, subhanAllah, this is
one of the major aspects of of our
aqeedah,
that of our faith, and and the creed
that can actually protect us from anxiety.
Right? That if something is destined for us,
right, and if something,
you know, is is is determined, Allah has
determined that it is gonna come no matter
what, then it's gonna come, and there's nothing
that you can do to avoid it.
Right? There's nothing that you could have done
after the fact. Right? Before the fact, yes,
you make the you do whatever you can.
But after the fact, if it happens, then
you accept
that, okay, it it there there was no
way around it. Right? Whether it's good or
bad. Right? And I like to give this
example. You know, you you you look at,
you know, investments. So you look at a
stock. You say, oh, that stock went up
so much. Oh, if only I had bought,
you know, Tesla could be Neville Tesla because
obviously it shot up. Right? Others as well.
So, oh, if only I had done that.
If only I had bought that house. If
only I had done that taken that opportunity.
Okay. But it wasn't meant to be. Yeah.
There's no point of regretting it afterwards.
Okay? Yes. You can learn lessons from it.
There's no point of regretting it because it
wasn't meant to be. It wasn't gonna happen.
Right? And same thing if something hits you
or something comes to you, it wouldn't have
been otherwise.
Right? Negative or positive. So if you get
ill, something happens.
After the fact, no point of regretting about
it and saying that, oh, you know, and
the prophet
has told us not to go into, you
know, the what ifs. So if I had
done this, if I had done that. No.
Okay. That is that was the decree of
Allah. Yes. You learn lessons from your mistakes.
It's not to say you don't learn lessons,
but don't go back and regret and think
that, you know, if I had done something
this way and that way, you know, it
is the decree of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
and whatever it is.
Right? So we we accept the decree of
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and as believers, we
are satisfied with it. May Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala grant us goodness. May
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala grant us goodness always.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala protect us from
any type of trials and tribulations. May Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala protect us from any type
of calamity that may have been decreed for
us. May Allah
continuously keep us in his protection.
I mean,
Let us make dua.
And especially we have, some sad news,
with regards to, you know, a number of
people, in our community, their loved ones.

My brothers and sisters,
so those who are at home, most people
are at home, please go ahead and offer
you a 4th of hearts of the heart
prayer, Insha'Allah.
Also, I want to mention I wanna thank,
first of all, everyone who has contributed so
far.
As you know, we are continuing our journey
towards establishing Canada's first masjid and center.
Phase 1 is pretty much complete into inside.
The renovations are done.
But, of course, this is not where we
need to stop stop. This is just,
the beginning for us in terms of phase
1. The actual masjid and center still have
to be built right in front of this
existing building, Insha'Allah, and will be connected together
giving the space for over 1100 worshipers, Insha'Allah,
in a state of the art facility, insha'Allah,
that will be well designed and dynamic,
for our needs, for our worship, for our
spirituality,
our wellness,
for outreach, for our children, for our seniors,
for all of us, insha'Allah,
and a great means of for the rest,
you
know, of time until the day of judgment.
So please, today, we are trying to reach
$100,000.
We are getting close, with your support. May
Allah bless you all. So we're looking for
about the, you know, 30 people, 35 people
who can contribute $1,000.
You know, you can't raise your hands. You
can't do the traditional fundraising,
but please make your intention,
to to to give for the sake of
Allah,
to thank Allah
for his blessings,
and to to plant your seeds of salah
al Khadadia to increase your share. And I
know many of you, many people have already
contributed, but we continue to build our share
just like you allowed to buy more stocks.
You wanna increase your investments for this zinnia.
This is the same way this is, your
RRSP for the akhirah. So, you know, please
come forward and, let us hit $1,500,000
today.
Our last 10 program is also going to
affect, so you can sign up to have

to 40% back. So it's a win win
win, for everyone.
So whatever you're able to do because every
dollar counts, it's honestly it's the amount that
you're capable of doing that Allah has blessed
you with, but at the end of the
day, it's your sincerity that matters. Right? Even
$1 sometimes can have more barakah than $1,000,000.
Right? So with good sincerity, with good intentions,
whatever you're able to do for the sake
of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, please come forward.
May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala bless you all.
