Shadee Elmasry – Why Follow Hadith

Allah Himself says that the prophets of Allah Allah Who said

it must be followed, and that's why we follow Hadith. And the

Companions followed Hadith and the next generation followed the

Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salam, and without

Hadith we wouldn't know the basic things that the Quran has

commanded us such as how to pray, who brought us the Quran, the

prophesy Sanlam there was transmitted by the Sahaba, the

same Sahaba transmitted to us that the Prophet said follow my sunnah.

So why would we accept the Companions when they give us the

Quran, but they we don't follow the companions. When they give us

a hadith. The Quran has a chain of transmission he we didn't see the

angel Jibreel come down with the Quran, the Prophet, recite the

Quran to the Sahaba the Sahaba then transmitted it to the rest of

the Ummah, that same Sahaba told us that the Prophet also said

things outside the Quran that we must follow. The Quran itself says

there is the Quran and there is the wisdom al Kitab will Hikmah

whereas the wisdom it is the teaching of the Prophet outside

the Quran
