Shadee Elmasry – When Prophet Musa Fell Ill

Musa alayhis salam was sick. He said, Oh Allah, what is the cure

for my sickness? Allah told him it's this leaf, this tree. Right?

So Musa one and he gathered the leaf and he ate the leaf. Okay for

the from the leaves from that tree. A couple of days fasts

didn't get better. He said, Oh Allah, I'm still not better. What

is the cure for my sickness? He said that tree. So now he starts

figuring out how do I eat this tree and he's starting to eat more

of the tree. On the third time, he says, Oh, my Lord,

I keep taking the tree that you said. But it's not making me

better. Allah subhanaw taala says, It's the key. It's the cure, but I

didn't say it will make you better.

It is the cure, but I didn't say it will make you better. He said,

Oh Allah, then how will that become better? If the cure doesn't

make me better? He said that you must acquire it in the right way.

Go to the doctor, so that he could give it to you. Oh, Moses, if I

answered the prayer of every prophet and righteous men that how

will the doc then what use will the doctors have? What will the

doctors be doing? So yes, it is the cure, but is that the right

way to acquire the cure? No, you must acquire it in the right way.

Because in the process of going to the doctor, you give someone else

a life, the doctor, right you give him a job, you give him a role, if

the knowledge was and that's why every subject that human beings

get into whether it be this technology and microphones, right,

whether it be the Quran, the Arabic language, medicine,

plumbing, if you notice the the job and the function of the job,

the industry in the field gets are become so complicated, right? That

the beginner gets lost in it.
