Shadee Elmasry – Mufti Niaz’s Hadith Course Ijaza

Salam Alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato. Well, I think Mr. Mufti

how are you?

Can you hear?

Is your mic working? earlier? Yes.

All right. So mostly tell us about the Hadith. Mufti is going to be

teaching a hadith with a little bit of commentary. And most

importantly, he's going to transmit to you his ijazah and

tell you some stories about his classes. So Mufti tell us about

when you studied the class that you're teaching, who did you study

with Where were you and tell us a little bit about that

salam ala Stoli. We are going to be going through inshallah with

the help of Allah subhanaw taala what is known as the philosophy of

Imam Bukhari and Abdullah lay, it is a Hadith course with ijazah.

And I'll explain what all that is in a moment. So

very quickly, just so that we know what we're talking about. Hadith

are the traditions of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa

sallam among what we want to just remember is that hadith are

crucial. They are commentary of the Quran, they are a source of

the Sunnah, and legal tradition and Islam. And as we know, they

were formally compiled into books and collections after the life of

the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we're going to be going

into more depth in the class. But for now, just as part of this

introduction and overview, to the course, every Hadith has two

parts, what we refer to as mutton, the text and the isnaad the chain.

So the mutton is the actual wording, report of the messenger

sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and the isnaad is the unbroken chain

of transmission between the compiler of the Hadith collection

and the messenger sallallahu alayhi salam. So for example, we

are looking at Ducati so between the mambo hottie Rahimullah up to

the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa salam. So in this class, we will

be specifically looking at the full Lafayette of Imam Bukhari not

all couple 1000 of his narrations, just the full Lafayette. Now what

we refer to when we say through Lafayette from the number three,

between the compiler and the messenger Salallahu Alaihe Salam

so an example of a filthy hadith is the following here Imam Bukhari

or the Allahu Anhu? Who said that the messenger Salallahu Alaihe

you mumble cloudy narrates this in his sahih Hadith number 109. And

this example. The chain is shorter, and because the chain is

shorter, right, then we'll have the theme consider those Hadith

starting off by default as being more authentic than a chain that

is longer, there's more of a possibility for something to

happen to, you know, not make the Hadith so authentic. So, this

hadith class that we're going to be doing, we're going to focus

more on the chain and the commentary of those who are in the

chain. The study of the isnaad of the hadith is crucial critical

when we're studying talking about the Hadith of the messenger salatu

salam, so I'm delivering them Avada Quran Allah very famously,

Imam Muslim has recorded this in his melodrama the introduction to

his say, who narrates he narrates this statement from Mohammed bin

Abdullah bin Zayed from Abdullah bin of mine from Abdullah Abdullah

MOBOTIX Imam Muslim traces the statement of the loving Mubarak

through these teachers. He says a listener Domina Deen Halal is

whatever they wanted to, we know where we are getting the hour of

case the prophets Aloni was salam. What we want to do in this course,

is a jazz ijazah is formal permission given by a teacher to a

student at the end of the class to teach the text or teach the

curriculum, or like we said

transmit that data with regards to the Quran or hips or Hadith etc.

So in this class we will be listening to the recitation of the

and give English translation of the it's not the chain and the

mutton the text of each Hadith. We will give commentary on the

comment on the actual Hadith and we will go over some basic

principles of the science of Hadith and after completing the

my life we make dua, may Allah reward and preserve and bless with

good health and Aafia, all of our teachers, those who are with us

and those who are no longer with us may Allah filled their graves

with Nora and may Allah count us among the sincere seekers of

knowledge and among the sincere students of knowledge and all good

is from Allah subhanho wa Taala and I look forward to teaching

this class hopefully, it will be a very, very authentic experience

from the tradition and a lot of fun, it's a topic that I'm very

passionate about and hopefully we will benefit and all good is from

Allah subhanahu wa taala and Allah subhanho wa Taala knows best
