Shadee Elmasry – Is Marriage Nasib

This concept of marriage is in the sea. I think it's a wrong concept.

Where do people get that? It's not in the seat. It's your choice. You

choose to come in and you could choose to leave. Now see is your

height, your eye color your hair color, your ethnicity? That's no

see. No See, for those who don't know means it's your destiny. And

I'm saying marriage is not your destiny. Your destiny is how you

look, the shape of your nose, your hair color, all that that's

destiny, that's Allah has made that decision. You cannot change

it. Marriage, of course, you can change it. What are you talking

about? You made this decision? And why can we just admit not every

decision you're gonna make is right. So if we want to be smart

about this, we should say ease up on marriage, but also don't have

kids early on, because now your bad decision is gonna affect

somebody else. That's if you sort of married quickly and you sort of

kind of don't know the guy
