Shadee Elmasry – Can God Have a Location

			The next question is, Does Allah
have a location? All right?
		

			Whereas Allah azza wa jal does,
you have physical characteristics.
		

			And again, we go back to the same
idea that what is a location a
		

			location is a creation, right?
It's a thing.
		

			Well, we have a Hadith from the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
		

			sallam, there was ALLAH and there
was no thing with him. Right? So
		

			if a location is a thing, okay?
And we're told that there was
		

			ALLAH and there was no thing with
him, Therefore Allah azza wa jal
		

			cannot have a location, he has no
location. A location requires a
		

			physicality. Now what does have a
location, the direction of our
		

			being up does not imply that the
essence of ALLAH is up, okay? It's
		

			up in the linguistic element of
being superior being above us
		

			being more worthy. Okay? It being
more majestic in that element, as
		

			smooth as smooth, like the summit,
the sky, the word smooth also
		

			means lofty in meaning. So when we
hear that Allah in the summit,
		

			right, it is lofty in meaning, not
in location, because if you say
		

			he's in location in the sky, you
are therefore allowing Allah to be
		

			inside of his creation, and his
creations is all full of
		

			accidentals and full of
		

			requirements needs and weaknesses.
Okay, and therefore you're saying
		

			that he relies upon a weakness he
relies upon creation. So we cannot
		

			say that Allah azza wa jal has a
space
		

			nor does he have physical
characteristics, okay? Everything
		

			physical in the universe must be
brought into existence and is
		

			susceptible to change and exiting
existence, right? And therefore,
		

			Allah azza wa jal is free of this
physicality and cannot have this
		

			physicality
		

			on the media, all
		

			of us
