The 28^th Juz of the Qur’an comprises of nine surahs – Surah al Mujadilah, al Hashr, al Mumtahanah, al Saff, al Munafiqoon, al Taghabun, al Talaq and al Tahrim.

This Juz contains the most beautiful verses (last three) of Surah Hashr that enumerate over 15 names of Allah.

Besides that, this Juz focusses on major issues that were pertaining to the Madinan community at that time. However, as is the ever-green nature of the Quran, the lessons that the Juz speaks of is relevant to our times as well.

Some of the themes discussed in this Juz are detachment from worldly matters, taqwa, guidance from the Quran and the Messenger, and saving one’s family from the Hell fire.
