of the companions

defend the religion of Allah

in the record of history

Sayyiduna
Zayd ibnul Khattab.

and all the companions of of messenger of
Allah.
He is the brother of from
his father's side.
He has different mother than

day, prophet Muhammad
was sitting with his companions, some
companions,
and he mentioned

strange hadith for them.

and he was talking to his companions
and he said the hadith,
one of you,

teeth,
it's a greater than the mountain of Uhud
in hellfire.
What that means?
The meaning of this hadith,
one of you will return back
to Kufr and he will change his mind
and he will die as
disbeliever.

one companion which is Sayyun Abu Huraira,

after prophet Muhammad

he defended the religion of Allah

prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam passed
away,
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Suddiyik become become the Khalifa
of Muslimeans.
And he sent a man his name
He was a Muslim. He was from Bani
Hanifa,
the tribe of Bani Hanifa, the same tribe
of Musa'ilama
Ibn Habib, Musa'il al Khazab, the one who
claimed that he's a prophet

And what happened
when Sayedoon Abu Bakr Sudeep
sent him out
to call the people of Bani Hanifa
to call them out and to advise them
to return them to Islam

if you told people in Bani Hanifa

I have a share of the prophethood
with the prophet Muhammad,
I will give you half of my kingdom.

for that man. He was a companion
and he was learning Quran and even the
companions
used to be jealous with him.
Because he used to cry a lot. And
he used to pray during the night. He

And when he went to Bani Hanifa, when
Sayeed Abu Bakr sent him to Bani Hanifa,
and Musaile gave
him a lot of wealth, and he changed
his mind. And he took told people

that prophet Muhammad
told that Musa'ilama,

Now he changed his mind
and he he left Islam.
And it was a big trial for people

than the regular person who will say a

people or it will not affect
the followers,
And this is the the situation that we
have. Anyway,
when Arrajal
went to Bani Hanifa and he stayed with
Musailema
and now
prophet,
Sayedina Abu Bakr Sadiq
made the order
to go to fight against
the the liar of al Yamama, Musa'il Al
Khaddeb.
And he sent the army in the first
time,
and they they weren't able to fight against
them,
and they asked for help, and Sayyid Nabu
Bakr sent for the second time Sayyid Nab
Khalid ibn Walid.
Sayyid Nab Khalid, he never
lost in in his life
even before Islam or after Islam.
And he sent Sayid Nakhalid with his army
and Sayiduna
Zaid ibn Khattab.
He was the one who holding the flag
of the Muslim army.
And this is very very good position in
in the army because if the the flag
is still,
raised up, you know, the Muslim will fight,
with the with the good
condition, but when the flag go down goes
down
and the Muslim will will go,
away from the place.
Anyway,
Sayedoon Nazaeed Ibn Khattab,
he said, I when I saw Muslims
become weak,
you know, because Musa'ilama,
he has,
more than 40,000
fighters,
and the army of Muslimen
wasn't big enough
to fight against the army of Musaile.
But Sayid al Nazaeed ibn Khattab,
he hold the flag up and he
was calling out. He was screening
very loud
and he encourage people
to fight
for the sake of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
and he used to say
all people
bite
on your uh-uh teeth.
And
hit your enemies badly and so hard.
And
and
go forward.
You know to achieve the victory
from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. And he said
he did oath by Allah.
I will not
talk with anyone
until
Allah
will grant us his victory
or I will die as a martyr and
I will be excused
the side of Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala. And
he did not talk with anyone after this
sentence. He he zipped
his mouth and
he did
not
talk with anyone
until Allah
took his soul out and he passed as
a martyr, as a shahid.
And they they give him the nickname,
you know, the the the martyr of Al
Yamama, Shahid Al Yamama,
Radiallahu Anhu Wa Arda.
And just to
to have some lessons
from the story and Sayed Al Nazaeed Ibn
Khattab,
he attend
all the battles with the prophet Muhammad sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam. He never missed one battle
with him from Badr and Uhud and
and all of them even he attend
the the, Solshul Hudaybiyah.
You know, subhanallah, it was in early
Islam when when the people of Quraysh
prevented the prophet Muhammad and his companion not
to come to perform umrah and he was
there.
And
just for us to learn today,
when we pray,
when we donate, when we do,
when we do,
donations,
we should not
be proud of ourselves. We should not really,
be arrogant.
We should
humble ourselves
even more than before. Do you know why?
Because we don't know if we will die
as a Muslims, as a believers, or not.

Washi ibn Harb, the one who killed the

He killed him in the battle of Uhud.

to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

he did very good job in the the

as a good believer.

we are nothing.
Unless if Allah
helped us out to be good and to
do good. And this is the point that
we really need to learn,
in this time. Sayed on Azayid, Ibn Khattab
in the battle of Uhud.
Uhud. Sayed on Omar, his brother, Omar Ibn
Khattab,
the second Khalifa.
He gave him his shield, the dura.
And he told them, protect yourself because I'm
afraid,
to to die in the battle of Uhud.
And
he respond back
and he said,
I need
a
more
than you or Omar.
SubhanAllah, I need to die as a martyr
even more than you or Omar. And this
is, and both of them, they did not
put the shield, but Allah
saved them in the battle of Uhud. But
when we come to the battle of Al
Yamama or Harub Al Aridah
in Al Yamama,
Sayedun Azayed,
Ibn Al Khattab,
he passed away
after he killed
Arjalibnu
Onfua.
You remember in the beginning when we're talking
about the hadith of Rasulullah
he
when he mentioned one
amongst you
his smaller teeth,
greater
than
the mountain of in hill fire.
And this is why Sayidna Abu Hurairah was
afraid,
was scared
because
he saw
praying and crying and reciting Quran, subhanAllah.
He was very pious.
And he was clay he was claiming himself,
oh, I might die as a hypocrite or
as a munafiq
because, you know when I compare myself this
is what Sayedna Abu Hurairah used to say.
When I compare myself with the Arrajal,
he's a very pious man. He's a very
righteous man. He's praying and crying, learning Quran,
learning hadith of Rasulullah,
but what happened to him?
He passed away
as a non Muslim. And this is
it will scare all of us.
Don't really
be arrogant and don't feel comfortable
that you are doing,
good deeds right now.
You you we should not feel comfortable
unless if we passed away
as a believers, as a Muslims,
and that time
we will be happy. This is like Sayyidna
Abu Bakr Sadiq
used to say,
I will not be saved
unless if one of my feet
will be inside paradise.
And this is what what we should learn
today from Sayyiduna
Zaid Ibn Khattab.
When when Sayyiduna Zaid passed away
in
and
Sayyidun Azaib
received
the the news that his brother, Sayyidun Azaib,
passed away
and he was crying and he said,
He was on front of me before me
for 2,
goodness.
The first one
he
accepted Islam before me
and the second one he passed away as
a martyr
before me
and this is what Sayyiduna Umar used to
say. And just I will conclude my my
speech today
with the the one who killed Sayeduna
Zayed Ibn Khattab.
His name, Abu Mariam
Al Hanafi.
Sayeduna Omar but by the way, Abu Mariam
Al Hanafi, the one who killed Sayeduna Zayed
Ibn Khattab,
he rebents back to Allah
and Allah accepted his repentance
and he passed away
as a good believer, as a pious, as
a as a companion of Rasulillahi
sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
And
Abu Mariam Al Hanafi minban Hanifa from the
same tribe of Musaillam Al Khazeb,
and Sayiduna Umar
asked him in in the end,
you know, and he told him
about it. Did you kill my brother,
Sayedna Umar? You know, he was he was
very strong
in the truth,
and he was so mad with the person
who killed his brother,
Sayyidunah
Zayid ibn Khattar.
And he told him, did you kill my
brother?
And Sayyidunah,
Sayyidunah, Sayyidunah Omar asked, you know, Abu Mariam
Al Hanafi.
And he was very very smart. And he
respond back to Sayyiduna Umar and said you
know You know he said to him Allah
honored him
by my hand
and Allah did not humiliate me by his
hand
because if Sayyid
ibn Khattab
killed Abu Mariam Al Hanafi, he will die
as a disbeliever
and he will be humiliated.
But he was smart in his answer and
he said
Allah
honored
him by my hand.
I killed him and he become a martyrs
And if he killed me in that time,
I will die as a disbeliever and I
will be humiliated.
And it was very very good answer,
and he repents back to Allah
He passed away
in,
12 year
after
migration of prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
And this is, you know, the time that
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr
was the Khalifa
of Muslimen.
And this is, you know, when we look
at the characters in in this story that
we have
today, we mentioned about Sayyid Nazaeed ibn Khattab.
He become a Muslim before his brother Sayyid
Umar ibn Khattab
and he become a martyr before his brother
Sayyid Umar ibn Khattab.
And we have uh-uh-uh
Arjal ibn Anfua.
He was a good Muslim
but he changed his mind and he passed
away as a kafir, as a disbeliever.
And we have Washi ibn Harb.
He killed Sayed Nahanza
and he rebents back to Allah and he
killed Musaealam Al Kadhab
and he become a good a good believer
for the sake of Allah subhanahu ta'ala. Also
Abu Mariam
Al Hanafi.
He was a followers
of Musa'il Al Khadab and he killed Sayed
Nasayid ibn Khattab,
but he rebents back to Allah
Whatever you did
in the in the past
for bad bad action or bad
deeds, don't give up. Just
repent back to
Allah and confirm your intention
that you will do good inshallah
for the rest of your life and Allah
will accept from from you. And don't let
the Shaitan
take you away from the correct path
that Allah, subhanahu ta'ala,
choose for us. This is what we have

Sayyunah
Zayd Ibn Khattab,
and I try to,
you know, mention his name
so many time for people to memorize his
name and to realize
how he defended
the religion of Allah
and how he stopped
Musaeal al Kaddab
and his followers and his army
and how Allah
accepted him among Assalihin,
among martyrs,
among,
righteous,
impious
people. May Allah accept
all of us among
