Dear brothers and sisters,
And we'll come back to our series
about,
maximizing
prayer or maximize
the value of your prayer.
And today inshallah, we will have,
a new prophet
that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala obligated him
with the prayer. And when we look at
the Quran in the chapter of Saad,
yesterday, we were talking about the prophet,
David
Dawood
alayhi
salaam. And today we will talk about his
son, Sulaiman,
Solomon,
peace be upon him. And Allah mentioned
in Surat Saad verse number 30.
And
to David,
we gave
Soleiman
as a son.
You know? And Soleiman,
he
inherited
from his father
the wood, you know, the prophethood,
and the kingdom also.
Salayman Alaihi Salaam
As Dawood Alaihi Salaam.
And the story started
with the prophet Sulayman.
One day,
he was,
looking at his
horses.
He used to love horses
so much. Horses
were
the tool of jihad
as a transportation
to ride the horses and go to defend
the religion of Allah, the holy jihad.
And one day he was busy with his
horses.
The the ayah mentioned,
You know, it was displayed,
for him
the well
trained
horses.
It was afternoon,
the time
before
sunset.
You know, after Assr until sunset.
And he
kept himself busy with
the the horses,
well trained horses
until sunset.
And he missed
prayer.
And this is what the proof that I
would like to mention today.
He missed us with prayer when the Quran
mentioned,
He said, I preferred
to
I was busy with the well
trained horses.
You know, I forget
remembering Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Remembering Allah here which is the prayer, the
salah.
Until sunset.
After sunset,
he remembered that he did not pray us.
And this
is my
evident
that the salah was
obligated
upon our beloved prophet, Sulaiman alayhis salaam.
And what he did after that,
he,
like the narration mentioned,
that he asked
for all the horses to come back again
on front of him.
And the first narration said that he was
touching the legs and the necks of the
horses,
and the other narration says that he
slaughtered
all of them for the sake of Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Somebody will ask
how he slaughtered them. Is
it right to slaughter horses?
It might be lawful
in their religion.
You know, it's okay for that. And he
slaughtered them, and he
distributed
the meat
for needy people. And this is why Allah
granted him
amazing
transportation,
even much better than
the well trained horses.
And Allah
gave him the wind.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala granted him the wind.
And this is why prophet Muhammad salallahu alaihi
wa sallam mentioned,
Whosoever
will leave something
for the sake of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
For example,
the the smokers,
if they leave the smoking for the sake
of Allah, Allah
will make them happy
or,
more than what they feel
while smoking.
Even the one who's dealing with the adultery
or with the drugs, with any any other
bad actions,
if they quit
for the sake of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
Allah will make them happy with the con
the new condition that they have, even more
than before.
And this is when he slaughtered them,
or when he stamped them
not not to be, belongs to him anymore.
And he,
stamped them for the sake of Allah. And
Allah
replaced
the well trained horses
with the wind. And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
mentioned
after he asked Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to
give him
amazing kingdom.
Not anyone will have the same his kingdom
ever until the day of judgment.
When he forgot to pray and he said,
oh my lord, please forgive me.
And
grant me
a kingdom.
It's not allowed for anyone
after me to have the same kingdom
like I have ever. And Allah accepted his
supplication.
And Allah says,
SubhanAllah.
We
subjected
to him the wind
To listen to his command. Can you imagine
when the other verse Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
in other chapter said,
Subhan Allah. The the trip that the wind
will will will have
a a for the whole month.
The travelers,
they used to go for the whole month.
It will make by the wind within couple
hours.
And the the the narration men mentioned that
he used to go from
in Palestine
to go to which
is in Bilat Faris.
It takes
almost month if if the people will go
in trip, if the caravan
will go from Palestine to to,
Iran,
Bilad Faris, it will take month.
Also, if he go from Palestine
to Yemen down there in the south, it
will take month.
But with the with the new tools that
Allah gave Solomon, peace be upon him, it
will take couple hours, and this is much
much better than the well trained horses.
And this is what we need to understand
today when we really quit something bad. We
used to do
against Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
and we really
have a full amount of hope in Allah
Azzawajal,
that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will make us
happy even more than before. And this is
what I try to mention today for all
of us that
Salah was obligated
upon prophet Suleiman,
peace be upon him. And when he missed
Asri prayer, he regret and he asked Allah
for forgiveness.
And Allah
accepted his,
supplication
with the fa. When you hear fa in
the Quran means that Allah
right
away accepted his supplication.
Easy way for him when he command the
wind to go anywhere,
the wind will
will
stick with his command, peace be upon him.
And this is what we need to learn
today, that salah was obligated
for all previous messengers and the prophets of
Allah,
before our beloved prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam. And when we perform a prayer, we
will count ourselves
among all the create creations of Allah or
creatures
of Allah, the that they
bow and they prostrate themselves
for the sake of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala make all of
us,
happy with our situation, with our condition,
with our religion, and may Allah help all
of us to stay firm in our religion
and to,
perform a prayer if we,
already
establish prayer or to start the prayer for
the one who did not make it yet.
