Salim Morsy – Kunooz alQuran Ep. 3 Surat Abasa He Frowned 80

Dear brothers and sisters,

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi

wabarakatuh.

Welcome back to our series,

which is the 3rd chapter

in the last jaws of the Quran.

We will talk about

the Kunus al Quran

of

Surat

Abasa,

the chapter of

he frowned.

He's talking about prophet Mohammed,

peace be upon him.

When Sayedna Abdullah,

Ibno'umi Maktoum

came to him

asking about

the religion of Allah,

and he

asked prophet Muhammad to

teach him

from what Allah

taught prophet Muhammad

sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

The chapter of

has 42

verses

and

a 130

words

and 533

letters.

This chapter

is

number

80

of the of

the Quran

and was revealed,

you know, the number of,

24

of the revelations.

And the chapter has different names,

but the famous

name for the chapter,

Surat Abbas.

He frowned.

Prophet Muhammad

was frowning

because

Saidullah

asked

him

while he was busy with the the leaders

of Quraish, the leaders of Mecca,

disbelievers.

And prophet Muhammad

was

hoping

that they will accept

the Islam,

and their followers will accept Islam. This is

the point. But Allah

told to him,

and

he frowned

when the blind man came to him to

ask about the religion of Allah, which is

Sayeduna Abdulah,

Ibn Ummi Maktoum.

And Allah taught our beloved prophet Muhammad,

peace be upon him. It's not your responsibility

for people,

but that they did not believe in Allah.

But you have to take care of the

believers

that you have already.

Your job only to convey the message.

And after this

incident,

Prophet Muhammad

used to

to call Sayidna Abdullah ibn

Maktoum.

Welcome

for the one that Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,

blamed me

about about him.

And

prophet Muhammad

used to

to give,

Sayeedna Abdullah ibn Ummi Maktoum,

you know, to be in charge of Medina

when prophet Muhammad

chose to go

outside Madina for a battle or for any,

trip.

And the the the verses of this Surah,

like I mentioned,

42

verses.

We will divide these 42 verses into

4 different parts

just to be able to understand

the chapter

and to

learn

about

the wisdom

of the these verses in the chapter

that Allah

talked in in the first ten verses

of the chapter

about

the revelation of Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, about

the message of Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

For the one who doesn't care about Allah's

religion,

you try to

explain for them, and you you try to

beg them

to accept Allah's religion. And this

is not what Allah

wants from

servants.

Either just explain

if they are able to accept the religion

of Allah, it will be great. If not,

it will be their fault.

It's not your fault, oh, Mohammed.

And

the second part of the chapter

talking about

the revelations

from Allah

about the

Quran.

It is

a reminder.

The Quran is a reminder, and Allah talked

about the Quran within

6 verses

from

verse of

11 till 16.

It

is,

a reminder

and whosoever

wants to

remind himself, who whosoever wants to take these

reminders,

you know, who he will be able to

take it.

Elevated,

and,

pure

purified.

These,

the the the the place has a Quran

is very elevated and very,

purified

from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. And the third

part of the Surah talking about it, you

know, the proofs and the evidence for oneness

of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. A lot of

signs, a lot of,

evidence around us to tell us about Allah.

And this is when Allah started

from verse number 17 of the chapter

till verse number 32

of this chapter.

Means,

you know, the man,

he he should be killed

because he did not listen to the signs

of Allah.

He did not believe in Allah.

And Allah explained how Allah created

us

from

the drop of,

the drop of

sperm.

Allah created

the man

from

the the sperm

drop or the drop of sperm.

And it's nothing.

How Allah created us

inside the womb of our mothers

and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

make it easy for us

to be to be born and to be

raised and to learn the the the means

of our lives.

SubhanAllah.

And Allah explain how he will return us

back to our graves.

And this is the idea. And after that,

in the same part, Allah talked about

our foods.

How

Allah created our foods for us.

You know, the man should look at his

food. How Allah

prepared food for us.

We send down the rains, you know, for

them.

We spill it the land

to be able to have the plants.

These kind of plants and the fruits and

the vegetables

that Allah mentioned as a grapes, as a

olives, as a pumbe trees, and kind different

kind of

the food that Allah made for us. In

the end of this part, Allah mentioned

it's a good condition for you

as a mankind

and for your animals.

Because we gonna eat the animals in the

end. We gonna slaughter them and we're gonna

eat them. We're gonna use their,

meat

for ourselves to benefit ourselves.

And this is why Allah

mentioned

and the 4th

part of the chapter

is

talking

about the day of judgment.

Means which is the name of the day

of judgment.

The very loud voice

will happen

in in in that time.

And Allah explain

the person will

flee away from

his own brother.

And his dad and his mom

and his wife and his children.

He will say myself myself.

And Allah will explain

the condition,

of people in the day.

Some faces

will will will be pride.

And laughing,

enjoying their life in paradise.

And the other faces will be dark

and has a dust

on these faces,

which is the people of hellfire.

May Allah

make all of us among the people of

paradise,

and may Allah

protect all of us to be among the

people of hellfire.

Allahumma Ameen. This is the chapter number 3
