All praise be to Allah,
the most significant, the most merciful.
And I bear witness there is no one
has right to be worshipped but Allah.
And I bear witness that Muhammad, peace be
upon him, he is the last final messenger
of Allah.
Oh, my dear brothers and sisters,
This is the first time
to be
with you in this masjid for the hubba
for Friday
and I hope that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
will bring ease to all of us
to know more about our Lord, about our
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
and to practice
the real religion of Allah in our life.
The topic that I have today,
especially for our young men and women,
for our future leaders,
that
advice
from our beloved prophet Muhammad
sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam
to a young companion,
Sayyiduna Abu 'alaihi wa sallam.
Sayyiduna Abu 'alaihi wa sallam, he was born
3 years before the migration of of Prophet
Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
When Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam passed away,
he was
13 years old.
Can you imagine?
13 years old
and he narrated
a 1,660
Hadith.
SubhanAllah. He's very young, companion
but he was close to Prophet
Muhammad most of the time
and he learned
a lot of advices
from Prophet Muhammad
salallahu alaihi wa sallam. One advice,
we will live together
with it.
Which is very famous
authentic hadith
from
Rasulillahi
salallahu alaihi wa sallam.
And he is the narrator of hadith,
he narrated
that hadith by himself.
And he says,
I was a riding behind Rasul 'Illaihi Wasallam
in one day,
a riding
his horse or his
donkey, his
transportation.
And the other narration mentioned,
Radief,
you know to arrive behind somebody.
And how many times that we spend with
our children
when we go
and trip?
When we go somewhere,
how many times, how many hours that we
spend.
And we prefer even not to talk about
any
aspect of the religion.
And we will regret later on because we
wasted the time.
Rasulullah
salallahu alaihi wasalam,
he took advantage
of the few minutes
that Sayyidina Abu Lahib N Abbas was riding
behind him.
And he, Sayyidina Abu Lahib N Abbas mentioned,
and Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said
to me, You ulam.
He described him
with
the O Young
Boy.
In Arabic language,
the age
between
3 years old till 9 years old,
they called Ghulam,
young boy.
I will teach you
some words.
And he did not make it longer
for him to understand and to memorize
and to concentrate
with the advice of Rasulillahi
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. How many of us
really pay attention for this
certain way, unique way to teach your children?
A lot of parents,
they thought
they will teach their children in overnight.
It will not work out.
This is the life project.
You need to
pay attention
for your child or your children for the
rest of your life.
Every day, every time give them little bit
and they will have very strong foundation.
You might assume they did not learn anything
from you but they did.
Trust me.
They did.
And they keep it until
when they have the situation,
they will
act
for the years that you taught them.
And we will start with the first sentence
of the hadith only because the time will
not help us to go through all the
interpretations of the hadith.
Takfavillahiyahfavq.
Just practice
with this
sentence.
Takfavillahiyahfavq.
Be mindful of Allah,
Allah will protect you.
If we learn nothing from the khukh today
except this sentence,
let us practice.
Yeah, let us really
have a project in our life with our
children, our hearts.
And train them
how they will be mindful of Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala.
Don't scare them.
Don't make them really
afraid of you
or their moms.
It will not work out
because if you go somewhere else they will
cross the red.
They will
close
the limits of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
They
will not care about Allah as they care
about you and their moms.
We need to train them how they really
fear Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
and they will
He will help you out when whatever you
will need help
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will help you out.
And the Quran taught us
about
a certain things in our life.
We need to be
mindful of them.
For example,
a salah.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned in the Quran
the good
descriptions
of believers,
Now the first step
to have
the test from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
are you the one who really
will
perform a prayer on time or not?
And this
is the first task
we need to make in our life.
We need to check to help our children
to deal with.
When you leave your child
by himself somewhere,
do you think he will care about salah
or not?
If he does,
you have to be happy
because you helped him out
to be mindful
of
salah, prayers.
And also Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned
about our oath
and He says in Surat Al Baqarah,
Do not swear
even if you
have the truth.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala mentioned do not
put the name of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
Even
if you have the truth
but do not really swear a lot.
Be mindful of your oath.
Do not
swear unless if
the situation
that you have
like when you go to the court and
the judge ask you to swear now, you
you you are allowed to swear by Allah's
name. But do not just specially when
you sell your product,
do not
make Allah's name so cheap
to sell your product.
When you say something,
you have to tell the truth
even if no one ask you.
And this is the second training for us
and for our children, our off
spring to train them
how to be trustworthy,
to say the truth.
And whatever
they have in their life, it doesn't matter
because they are dealing with Allah.
The one,
his command between two letters.
If they showing care about Allah,
Allah will show care about them. This is
the point that we need to learn our
life.
And the third thing that we have to
be mindful of it,
that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned in Surat
Al Mumminoon.
Say to believers, O Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam, to lower their gaze.
And to protect their private parts.
And this is the most
things
that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala taught us in
the Quran
to be mindful of them.
And how Allah will protect us
if we really
act as a
mindful
person
towards Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
And Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala mentioned in Surat Al Baqarah,
verse number 40
when he was talking about the children of
Israel, Bani Israel.
And Allah told them,
Fulfill My covenant
and I will fulfill My covenant to you.
This is the point.
And we need to learn how to deal
with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Allah doesn't need
our help but we do need
the help of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And when
we fulfill
the covenant
with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
What that means?
You know to make yourself 100%
pure person
for the sake of Allah azza wa jal.
We have to have pure heart,
pure
mind, pure intention
for the sake of Allah. Even the people
are dealing
in rude way against us. Doesn't matter
because
are you dealing with the people or are
you dealing with the Lord of people? And
this is a huge difference.
When you have intention from the beginning,
I'm dealing with Allah and Allah knows about
me. Allah knows about my intention.
Allah can protect me. Allah can help me
out. At the said, why you are waiting
for people's help?
They are nothing.
And in the end of the hadith, but
we don't have time to explain,
if all nation
come together
in one time
to help you out or to benefit you
or to harm you, they will not be
able to do that.
But we really need to concentrate today.
And
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned in the Quran,
and He commanded us to lower our gaze.
And this is the biggest gate
to go
through the bad desires.
When you look
around you,
your eye might catch
some bad images
and a
the Satan will start whispering to you,
and it might end up with a bad
result
or bad consequences.
And to protect their private parts.
And
somebody will ask how Allah will protect us.
We will not be able to
explain
how Allah will protect us but our scholars
they assumed
a certain way of protections
and they said if you do so,
if you act as
mindful
of Allah,
Allah would return back to you to protect
you. How?
And they mention
2 different
protections.
Memorize them and keep them in your mind
for the whole time.
And they, our scholars mention
the first protection
that Allah will protect us in ourselves and
our wealth.
And the result of that He will protect
our offspring,
our children,
our grandchildren.
How?
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala mentioned in Surat Ararat,
the chapter of offender.
Allah assigned
a certain angels
to guard us, to protect us
from on front
and behind.
You fafoonahum
min amrillah.
To protect people,
even disbelievers, subhanAllah.
This is how Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
made it for every
human being.
But when you look deeply after
this word right away,
Allah says,
Allahu Akbar.
Allah will not change
the behavior of anyone
unless if he or she choose to change
themselves
first.
And this is will give us
the clear
situation
that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned,
We have to start with Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala. In the same chapter,
Surat Al Baqarah,
Remember me
and I will remember you.
And Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala gave us the
key.
If you would like to be
mentioned
in Allah's side,
you need to start from your side first.
Whosoever
mention my name in himself or herself,
I will mention their name in myself. This
is what Allah says in the hadith Qudsi.
And whosoever mention my name in
the congregations,
in the group,
I will mention their name
in the much better group which is the
group of angels of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And this is what we need to learn
today
to be mindful of Allah subhanahu wa
To be mindful,
do not come closer to the limits of
Allah.
And when we look at the Quran we
have two times
in the entire Quran that Allah mentioned His
limit.
And one of them, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
says,
These are the limits of Allah, do not
come close
to it.
And the second
verse in the Quran,
What is the difference between
taqrabuh
and taqrabuh?
The 2 verses are same
and this is the only two times in
the entire Quran
that Allah mentioned about his limits,
shududulba.
But one of them
you have to stay away from
the limits of Allah.
Do not look at the temptations
near to the limits of Allah.
And the second
verse that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned,
Do not cross
the limits of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
The first one,
when you're dealing with the other people around
you
because it was mentioned
after
the relationship between husband and wife.
And even do not come close to the
limits of Allah because it might be a
big temptation for
you to cross the limit of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala.
And
this is the situation,
we're complaining
about our children,
they did not listen to us,
you know. Really I'm not happy with my
child or my children or my daughter.
SubhanAllah,
we need to start from ourselves.
We need to train ourselves first
how to be mindful of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala.
May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala help all of
us out
to be
mindful
of Allah
and to be able to receive Allah's help
and to be able to
raise our children as a pious and righteous.
Alhamdulillahi
Wa'Dha,
wa
salaamu
alayhi
wa salaamtasliman
kathiran
ilayummadeed
thum a mabat.
Dear brothers and sisters,
I talk to you in the first
reminder
about
the Hadith of Sayyru Naha Abu Mahbdis.
And just we talk the first sentence of
the Hadith
and really we need to learn
and we need to have deep knowledge
about
the interpretation
of a hadith,
Rasulillahi
salallahu alaihi wa sallam.
Just to go back
to Sayyidina Abu Lahib N Abbas,
he was a child.
Now he is a companion of Rasulillah
but he was a child in that time.
And
sometime
we might be
disappointed
of our children
and we didn't know
that
they absorbing
whatever we will teach them
and they will save it
until the time will come.
When we look
at Yusha Ibn Noon,
he was
Ghulam
of Prophet Moses,
peace be upon him
when
he was meeting with the Al Khadr alaihis
salaam.
When he asked his gulam,
Bring our
food.
We are tired because of the trip
that we made.
He was a child
but he was
staying with the Musa alaihis salam
as
his shadow.
This is the point,
he spent
the entire of his life with Musa alaihis
salam
and he observed,
he learned
from Musa alaihis salaam
where are our children today from
our scholars and the ulama and the masajid.
And this is the point,
we might give them a chance
to play soccer or basketball
or any other
league.
But did we really give them a chance
to be reciters of Quran, to be huffaf
of Quran,
to be
scholar future?
Subhanallah. This is you know why we complain?
We need to really put the seed today
and water it
and
take your time.
Trust me.
By Allah,
they will
they will be more than what we expected
from them
because they are smart
and they are powerful
and they still,
you know, like the dough,
you can create
any shape
out of them.
Not like older respected people.
It's very hard to change their mind
but it's very easy to change
youth mind.
Very easy.
Because they did not practice the Masiyyah for
long time.
It's easy for them to quit
disobedience
of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. But for all
people,
it's hard for them to quit
masuiyyah.
And this is my point today, I would
like to clarify it for all of us,
even for myself before my brothers and sisters.
Our children
are our hopes
in life.
Even when we die,
we will receive a lot of good deeds
while we stay in our graves.
They will send it. When they lead the
prayer, when they recite the verse of the
Quran, when they help people to learn about
their religion,
we will share in the same hasanat with
them and we will be proud of our
actions.
Just we need to start.
Do something
you will never regret in your life.
Invest in your child or your children. This
is my point.
When we come back again to yushaibnuoon,
SubhanAllah.
Sayyiduna Musa,
he's the Prophet of Allah
but Allah did not give him the chance
to conquer
Palestine
Baytul Maqdis.
He passed away before
Fathil Baytul Maqdis.
But what happened after that? Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala gave him
the honor
for
his student,
for his hulam,
for his young boy servant.
And what he did,
he did oath
for the son
and he Aksima al Hashamsi allatahuq,
and he talked to the son,
You are not able to go
to waste
before
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
opened Baytul Maqdis for us.
And the son responded back to him.
Subhanallah.
It was in Friday
afternoon
and for children of Israel, they are not
allowed to fight on Saturday
and he knows
if they did not open Baydul Maqdis
in that moment,
they will not be able to open it.
And this is what we can see in
our
amazing history as a believers
of our Lord.
I hope that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
will make all of us satisfied
with
our conditions, with our children,
with our kufspring,
Allahumma Ameen.
