As-salāmu ʿalaykum.
Wa-alaykum as-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-raḥmatu Llāhi
wa-barakātuh.
How are you, Shaykh?
Fine, al-ḥamdu liLlāh.
Al-ḥamdu liLlāh.
In shā'a Llāh, we're going to start
with the lesson.
Al-ḥamdu liLlāhi rabbal-ʿālamīn.
Was-salātu was-salāmu ʿalá Rasūlu l-Karīm
wa-alá ʿalī wa-sahbī ajma'īn amma
ba'd.
As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-raḥmatu Llāhi wa-barakātuh.
Dear respected students, may Allāh bless you all
for your attendance.
Today, we are covering the Days of Ignorance
by Muḥammad ibn Abdu'l-Bahā'u dhī
l-Ḥajj.
Just a quick reminder, please take notes, listen
attentively, and send your questions to myself or
the co-host throughout the course of the
lesson.
With that said, I'll hand it back to
the Shaykh to start the lesson.
BarakAllāhu fīkum wa-jazākum Allāhu khayran.
As-salāmu ʿalaykum.
Wa-alaykum as-salāmu wa-raḥmatu Llāhi wa

Allāhi taʿāla wa-khayra al-ḥadīha li-Muḥammadin
ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alayhi wa-sallam.
Wa-sharru al-ʿumūri muhdathātuhā wa-kullāhu wa
-sallam.
And he is working around the clock and
he will never take a rest.
He's working.
This enemy, once you listen to him, he
pulls your leg little by little and he
keeps dragging you.
Until you are totally covered and immersed in
the disbelief.
He starts with you by making you commit
minor sins, major sins, but bit by bit
until you commit the kufr, blasphemy.
That's what the shaitan does.
He is our real enemy.
He receives us the moment we enter into
this world, into this life.
The moment you come from your mother's womb,
he is there standing next to the midwife
to receive you.
And the Prophet ﷺ said he hits the
child and the child will cry.
Only one child didn't cry.
That was Jesus Christ, Isa.
Allah protected him from the shaitan because his
grandmother, the mother of Mary, when she was
carrying Mary in her womb, she cried to
Allah and prayed to Allah to protect her
progeny, her child and the offspring, the progeny
of that child.
And so he receives you the moment you
enter into this dunya and he will never
leave you until you breathe your last.
He is there working on you because this
cursed one doesn't want to go to the
hellfire alone.
So he wants to take as many people
as he can, as he can manage to
mislead.
So he is calling his followers to be
among the inmates of the blazing fire.
So he received you and he will stay
with you.
Every one of us has shaitan with him.
Every one of us, even
our Prophet ﷺ.
But Allah ﷻ, he saved his Prophet ﷺ
from the evil of his companions.
So each one of us has a companion
from among the shayateen who is there with
you all the time.
And when you die, he is still alive.
And those who are, you see, some people
they claim that they communicate with the dead.
No, they don't communicate with the dead.
They communicate with the qareen, with the companions,
with the jinn, your companion.
Do you want to talk to your dad?
Say yes.
So this qareen is the one who is
going to talk to you, who knows everything
about your father.
So they communicate and interact with the jinn,
with the companions, the qareen, your qareen.
So he will not leave you.
Imam Ahmad, when he was breathing his last,
when he was dying, they mentioned that.
They were asking him, his son is telling
his father, Imam Ahmad, Oh father, say la
ilaha illallah, because they are seeing the sign,
the sign of death that he is dying.
Imam Ahmad said laisa ba'du laisa ba'du, not
yet, not yet.
Imam Ahlu Sunnah doesn't want to say la
ilaha illallah.
So his son said, father, what is it
not yet?
He said, my son, the cursed one is
standing next to me.
Ketan, I can see, is standing, biting his
finger, saying, oh Ahmad, I failed to mislead
you.
I failed.
So I'm telling him, not yet.
I cannot be sure that I managed to
escape from your grip.
And still my soul comes out.
Now, having said this, let us reflect on
this beautiful eye.
Those who adulterated, those who modified the scriptures,
those who concocted new things and attributed to
Allah.
Ketan fooled them totally, though they had knowledge,
but that knowledge didn't benefit them.
People of knowledge come to the scripture and
modify it.
And they know what they are doing is
wrong because now there are tools in the
hand of the shaytan.
He moves it, they are like robots.
So this ayah, Allah says, فَوَيْلُ لِلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ
الْكِتَابَ بِأَيْتِهِ Extreme punishment.
So war to those who distort the scripture,
adulterate the scripture, modify the scripture with their
own hands.
Then say, this is from Allah, seeking a
fleeting gain, money.
So war to them for what their hands
have written and war to them for what
they have earned.
Let us pose a reflection.
فَوَيْلُ لِلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ الْكِتَابَ بِأَيْتِهِ الويل is a
punishment.
And some of the authors say the whale
is a valley in the hellfire.
So this punishment, فَوَيْلُ لِلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ الْكِتَابَ بِأَيْتِهِ
this extreme punishment, painful punishment is ahead of
them.
Those who distort the scripture.
You see, my dear brothers and sisters, Allah
trusted and entrusted the previous nation, Jews and
Christians.
He trusted them and he gave them this
privilege and this honor to safeguard the scripture.
But they proved to be not trustworthy.
So they modified and they distorted the scripture.
And they lied.
ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَذا مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ This is
from Allah.
So they opened the Torah and Oh, let
us remove this.
Let us insert this.
And then this is God's word.
If you read in the Old Testament, in
the book of Deuteronomy, it is clearly mentioned
that usually riba, what they call it now,
interest, is prohibited.
And you are not supposed to take riba
usually.
Or usually, whatever you want to call it.
It's there.
They said, no, no, no, no.
It is prohibited among us.
We should not take the riba usually from
each other.
But it is lawful.
It is halal to take riba from the
Gentile.
That's what they are saying.
ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَذَا مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ لِيَشْتَرُوا بِهِ
ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا They do that so that they
gain this illicit gain.
Seeking, afflicting gain.
What this illicit gain will do for you?
What this money will do for you?
You're going to die.
And this money, this wealth you accumulated, it's
going to be left.
You are going to leave it behind.
And now you are going to be questioned
and you're going to be burnt for eternity
in the hellfire.
See what the shaitan did to them.
Only an insane would do things like this.
But this fleeting gain, you
sacrifice and you lose yourself.
And you accept this in exchange of the
everlasting life in the gardens of Eden that
you gave out.
You lose the Jannah and the price is
the hellfire forever.
لَيَشْتَرُوا بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا Miserable gain.
Little gain.
Fleeting gain.
فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيَهِمْ Woe
to them for what their hands had written.
They are lettered people.
Learned people.
They did not respect this knowledge and use
it properly.
I cannot imagine someone who knows that this
is Holy Scripture and he dares to pick
up the pen and erase the verses.
Insert his own words.
فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُم مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيَهِمْ And woe to
them for what they have earned and gained.
So this مسألة, this issue that they authored
books full of falsehood, full of lies and
then they say ascribe that to Allah.
This is from Allah.
So that this a new modified, a new
version of the Scripture is holy, divine.
You have to accept it.
You want me to believe it is divine?
You want me to believe it is holy
when it doesn't make any sense?
The signs of forgery are vivid and clear
that someone played and modified the Scripture and
you expect me to consider that holy and
divine?
They're nothing.
You want me to believe that * is
fine and acceptable because the daughters of Lot
slept with their father?
That is a clear evidence that this is
something done by the human beings.
So they authored books of falsehood and then
attributed them to Allah.
So this is the مسألة and this is
what the people of Jahiliyyah did.
So the author, Sheikh Muhammad, may Allah elevate
his status in Jannah tonight and believe me,
my dear brothers and sisters, if you read
the books of this Imam and understand them,
you are going to realize the magnitude of
the favor he did for the Ummah of
Muhammad.
If you read his book, Kitab al-Tawheed,
thousands and thousands, if not millions of Muslims
benefited from that book and they left the
shirk and died upon the Tawheed.
And now this beautiful book, we are going
through it.
He is telling the Muslims do not follow
the footsteps of the people of Jahiliyyah.
This is my advice for you.
I am trying to help you what your
Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam did regarding these
wrong practices by the people of Jahiliyyah.
May Allah reward him immensely to elevate his
status in Jannah tonight.
Ameen.
So here, Sheikh Muhammad, he expounds on this
important issue.
And by now you should be able to
see the title and the relevance between the
title and the proofs and the evidence that
he quotes.
This is his style.
When he puts the title, he provides you
with the dalil from the Quran or the
Sunnah of what he did.
So here he expounds on this important issue
which is common among the people of the
book and others authoring books and ascribing them
and attributing them to Allah.
This was practiced by the people of the
book.
People of the book.
They are supposed to be the most pious,
the most righteous, more God-fearing and mindful
of Allah than anyone else.
But the shaytan managed to fool them.
And here I want you to understand one
thing.
Knowledge is not sufficient to be guided.
You may have the knowledge and yet you
go astray with the dalil.
Iblis is an example for this.
Satan himself, knowledgeable, did that knowledge benefit him?
No.
That's why they're saying the knowledge, if it
doesn't benefit you, it is satanic.
Satanic knowledge.
You have information, that's it.
That information is in isolation.
It doesn't reach your heart.
It doesn't reach your heart.
It is there in an independent compartment, separate
compartment.
Remember when we say the three circles, knowledge,
reaction, action.
Remember that?
When something happens, any event happens, it becomes
knowledge to you.
Then that knowledge, you react to it.
Then you take an action.
So this something happened, event, will enter into
the circle.
Circle one becomes knowledge.
Now you knew about it.
For example, your father passed away.
So it becomes knowledge.
Then it moves from circle one into circle
two.
To circle two.
And in circle two, you react to this
knowledge.
Okay?
And you start saying that is your reaction.
Then it moves from circle one into two
and from two to three to the most
inner one circle.
The action, you take an action.
That is if all the circles are connected.
But if this connectivity is not there, it
is severed, cut.
Yeah, you have knowledge in one place, no
reaction, and no action.
For example, now you are sitting in front
of your, in your room.
And in front of your computer or laptop,
whatever.
If, God forbid, fire erupts in your room
or next room, fire breaks in next room,
are you going to continue listening to the
talk?
And you will say, oh, yeah, there is
fire.
Yeah, fire.
And you continue.
You do that.
There is something wrong with you.
You are insane.
Immediately you will jump from your seat and
run away.
Because this is fire.
You will not say, I know it is
fire.
No.
So, when you heard the alarm, get knowledge,
you react, oh, my God, something happened.
And then you leave your place and evacuate
the building.
Knowledge, reaction, action.
How about the hellfire?
Jahannam.
Oh, yes, I believe there is Jahannam.
What is the reaction?
Are you afraid of it?
And if you are afraid of the hellfire,
where is the action?
I know Jahannam is there.
So, there is no reaction.
Nothing there affecting you.
There is no interaction with this information.
So, knowledge by itself is not sufficient.
That's why the Prophet used to pray to
Allah and his dua.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, used to
say this.
Oh, Allah, I seek your protection from harmful
knowledge, from a knowledge that benefits me not
and heart that does not have kujur, homage,
void of homage, and an eye that doesn't
shed tears out of your fear.
So, don't say just knowledge is enough.
Now, those people, they had the knowledge, but
they didn't benefit from it.
They didn't benefit from this knowledge.
So, this knowledge will be used against them.
They will not have any excuse before Allah,
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So, that's why, my dear brothers and sisters,
when you seek knowledge, apply it in your
life.
Practice it.
Not that you are just storing information.
Then it is harmful knowledge, not beneficial one.
So, when you learn something, do it.
Practice it.
You come to know this about a new
sunnah.
The sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ is so
many.
So, you knew this is sunnah.
Practice it at least once in your life.
At least once.
So, here the author, rahim Allah, expounds on
this important issue which is common among people
of the scripture, people of the book, and
others as well, don't you know?
They wrote books, authored books, and attributed them
to Allah.
So, they presented what they wrote to their
followers.
This is from Allah.
This is divine.
This is holy.
Misleading their followers.
Misleading their followers.
The author, rahim Allah, is telling us, and
the ulema they mentioned, that this type of
writing books, attributing to Allah, can be categorized
into two categories.
So, this type of authorship can be classified
and categorized into two main categories.
First category, that they modified the words.
Allah said this, they cross that, and insert
another word.
This is one style of adulterating, modifying, distorting
the scripture.
This is one type.
They remove the words and replace them with
new ones.
The other type is that they leave the
text as is, but they resort to the
ta'weel, the misinterpretation of the meaning, misconstruing
the meaning of the text.
They will tell you, yeah, but it doesn't
mean that.
It doesn't mean that.
So, they keep the words, they keep the
letters, but they change the meaning, the interpretation.
They misinterpret the text.
And they are life examples in our time.
You hear them, those advocates of misguidance, who
are trying to, and they are calling themselves
that as they are reformers, to enlighten the
ummah, and they are saying we have to
have a new narrative, new narrative of the
deen.
We should not understand the Qur'an and
the sunnah, hadith, in the same way generations
in the past understood it.
It doesn't mean that.
It means this and this.
The same, same argument, the same practice.
They don't want to abide by the rules
that the ulama formulated to save you from
going astray and misinterpret the text wrongly.
So there are rules you have to follow.
The text is in Arabic, so you have
to understand it within the the the nature
and within the language itself.
The text does not lend itself to such
interpretation.
It does not lend itself to such rendering
and interpretation.
That's why there are rules you have to
follow.
There are rules to understand the hadith.
There are rules to enable you how to
deduce the ahkam and the rulings from this
text, the hadith, or from this ayah.
There are rules to govern you and protect
you from going astray and how to understand
the meaning of the ayah correctly.
But those advocates they say, we don't need
that.
I don't need to know the hadith.
I don't need to go to the books
of tafsir.
Mashallah!
Yeah, I can just directly open the Quran
and explain it as I feel, as I
like.
It's clear to me be careful otherwise
what happened to the previous nations will happen
to us.
So the second category, the misinterpretation of the
original text and it happened to many of
the deviant sects mu'tazila, asha'ira, jami'ah,
when it comes to the ayat, if it
was hadith they reject the hadith.
Because these deviant sects they are three fundamental
rules they abide by and they follow.
Number one, aql has more precedence over the
scripture, the rationale.
If it doesn't agree with my intelligence, with
my intellect reject it.
Okay?
Or misinterpret it.
So first, the aql, what the aql says
not what the revelation says, no.
What this little grey matter says, that's it,
follow it.
If you can, second step when it comes
to the text, which is Quran, what can
you do about it?
Say, okay, they play with the meaning.
They say it doesn't mean that.
Ar-Rahman, the beneficent above the throne.
But istawa doesn't mean istawa.
But here it means istawla.
So they tell you the meaning is different.
If it is a hadith and it is
authentic Bukhari and Muslim, they will tell you
if it is mutawatir, mutawatir, we accept it.
Mutawatir.
But again, we have to check it according
to the jurisdict of the intellect.
Mutawatir hadith, but the intellect, our minds, which
aql?
Which aql is the reference?
Whose aql?
Whose intellect?
Whose intelligence?
Yours?
His?
Which one?
Your intellect says this.
My intellect says something different.
So, whose intellect?
Whose aql?
We have to follow and accept.
Yours?
Why not mine?
Why not mine?
Why don't we have a reference?
What's the reference?
There should be always a reference point.
So when we disagree, oh, we have to
come back to this.
So you're saying the aql.
Whose aql?
If someone now steps in holding his pistol,
the revolver in his hand, killing.
But did he kill them?
My intellect tells me to kill them.
My aql tells me to kill them.
I think it's what I did is right.
This is what I believe.
Yes.
There should be guidelines.
Limits set.
The aql also has, should have limits and
guidelines.
Because it can, the intellect itself, it can
go wrong and it can give you wrong
answers.
So it needs guidance.
The aql needs guidance.
This faculty is limited.
It functions only within the physical world, the
material world, tangible things.
That's where the intellect, the aql functions.
Take it outside this domain.
It becomes helpless, confused.
I told you many times to this
example which shows the limitations of the aql.
Now you are listening and you are hearing
and you are sitting in your room and
somebody is knocking in your door.
So all those who are with you will
say somebody at the door, go and see
who is it.
Because all of us, all those in the
sitting room, they heard the knocks but this
is something material.
The sound waves through the air entered into
our ears.
The eardrum vibrated and the signal and the
message was sent to the brain and the
brain interpreted the message somebody at the door.
No issue.
There is consensus.
There is ijma, somebody at the door.
But now let us try to imagine who
is at the door.
Who is the knocker?
Imagine the knocker.
Who is he?
Man?
Woman?
Old?
Young?
Animal?
Who is he?
What do you think?
Are we going to have the same mental
picture?
All of us will say he is a
man.
He is tall.
No.
Everyone will have his own mental picture.
Why in the beginning?
Why when we heard the knocks we agreed
and now we are disputing.
Why?
Because now we are plunging, pushing the aql
into an area he has no clue about
it.
Which is the unseen.
Something beyond the physical world.
Something metaphysical.
So the aql will not function.
So if our intellect, our aql, our minds,
this aql is helpless, incapable to tell
me who is at the door.
And what separates me from the one who
is behind the door, only the thickness of
the door.
Yet my aql cannot tell me who is
at the door.
And if I try to guess, I will
not get the answer.
Because that will be merely speculations.
Mere speculations.
Oh, you are a man, no?
You are tall, no?
You are this, no?
The only way to know who is at
the door is to ask, who is it?
What do you want?
And to allow the one at the door
to tell you about himself or herself, that's
the only way.
Now, we come from the room into this
cosmos, this universe.
Can our minds, can our intellect tell us
who is behind it?
And what are his qualities?
What does he want from us?
So to know about the unseen, the ghayb,
there's no way.
The aql is helpless.
The only way is to listen to what
the one who created this material world, the
physical world, and the metaphysical world.
And that's Allah.
So this deviant *, mu'tazila, asha'ira, and
yahmiya, because the asha'ira, actually, Abu al
-Hassan al-Ashari, he was one of the
mu'tazila.
He was one of them.
So, first of all, the rule number one,
intellect comes first.
Second thing, if the text agrees with the
intellect, that's fine to them.
But if it doesn't agree with their understanding,
with their aql, with their understanding, then if
it is an ayah, they say we have
to render it, explain it, interpret it metaphorically,
majazan, figuratively.
If it is hadith, they say, is it
mutawatir or ahabd?
Mutawatir, hadith?
Hadith reported by a group, number of narrators,
number of the sahaba reported this hadith, number
of jabi'een also reported the same hadith,
until it reached us.
This is mutawatir.
And there are few hadith, little, the small
number of mutawatir hadith.
Majority, the bulk of the hadith of the
Prophet, they are not mutawatir, which they are
called ahad.
And many of the issues of aqeedah and
the belief are mentioned in ahad, ahadith.
So they reject them.
They don't accept.
Say ahad hadith.
And they say, we will accept this ahad,
ahadith when it comes to the ibadat, salat,
siyam, zikr.
Okay, fine.
Don't you know that they, in their salat,
they say they, Allahumma na'udhu buka min
azabi jahannam, wa min azabi alqabar, wa min
fitnatu almahya wal mamad.
They say that.
But they don't believe in it.
Because this is ahad.
So what do you say, if you don't
believe in it?
So they say, in the ibadah, we accept
the ahad.
But aqeedah only mutawatir.
Don't you know?
Even the ibadat, the salat, you have to
believe.
What do you pray?
I have to believe that I have to
pray.
Why do I renew my wudhu?
Because I lost my wudhu.
So I have to believe that when I
release gas, my prayer is invalid.
I have to believe.
Aqeedah.
I have to believe that this is dhuhr
prayer, this is asr prayer, this is rishabh
prayer.
So to claim that when it comes to
aqeedah, you only accept the mutawatir is nonsense.
That's why when you hear this issue, this
is a bid'ah invented by the mu'tazila,
the issue of mutawatir of the ahad.
The prophet used to send one sahabi only,
one to the people, calling them to Islam.
One.
He sent Mu'adh to Yemen, Mu'adh.
And he told him Another narration.
First thing that you call the people of
Yemen is that they should worship Allah alone
and single him out.
One.
You teach them the iman, the aqeedah.
One.
And the people of Yemen didn't say, oh
you are one, we don't accept your, except
you.
The prophet has to send a group of
people.
No.
To the people the one who is trustworthy
enough.
The sahaba when they were praying Asr in
Masjid Quba and they were facing Baitul Maqdis
and one of the sahaba he prayed with
the prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam facing Mecca
he passed by them and they were praying
towards Baitul Maqdis, he talked to them and
told them by Allah he prayed Asr with
the prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam facing Mecca.
The imam turned and faced Mecca and the
congregation.
They didn't say he is one.
This is bid'ah.
And you hear it on and on and
on.
Oh to the sahaba.
So be careful.
These deviant sects, deviant sects they made the
aql as if the aql is something divine
when the aql itself is created by Allah
and it has its own limitation as we
mentioned.
So they are saying only mutawatir in the
aqilah.
And if the hadith is mutawatir but their
minds cannot digest it they misinterpret it and
they render it metaphorically.
So this is the second category of the
authorship which is the misinterpretation of the original
text.
And the relevance of the ayah to the
title is clear.
Because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala here in
this ayah threatened He is threatening Allah those
who modified, distorted, adulterated the scripture and then
attributed it to Allah.
Ibn Abbas said this ayah in Surah Al
-Baqarah was revealed regarding the people of the
book.
They are the ones who modified the scripture.
This is reported by Al-Nasa'in Al
-Sunan Al-Kubra volume number 6 page 286
Suyuti Naddur Al-Manthoor The Scattered Pearls that's
the name of the tafsir of Imam Suyuti
volume number 1 page 82 Also Allah says
in Surah Al-Imran ayah 79 sorry, 78
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
So Allah is saying there are some among
them among them who distort the book with
their tongues people of the scripture to make
you think that this distortion is from the
book but it is not what the book
says they say it is from Allah but
it is not from Allah and so they
attribute lies to Allah knowingly ...

scriptures and lied.
Allah says in Surat Al-An'am, ayah
number 93 Allah
says in Surat Al-An'am, ayah number
93 fabricates lies, invents lies against Allah or
claims I have received revelations like the imposters
are going to know although nothing was revealed
to them or the one who says I
can reveal the like of Allah's revelations if
you are prophet but only see the wrongdoers
what is going to happen to them in
the throes of death when they are dying
in the in the throes in the throes
of death while the angels are stretching out
their hands saying give up your souls give
up your souls today you will be rewarded
with the torment of disgrace for telling lies
about Allah for being arrogant towards his revelations
subhanallah this what Allah saying he's saying woman
who is more mistaken more wrong than the
one who lies and fabricates he concocts he
fabricates lies against Allah or the one who
says I receive revelation that the imposter their
names and we're going to mention shalla when
he didn't receive any revelation from Allah or
who says I am capable to bring Quran
like the Quran of Muhammad as Musaylima did
from Hanifa they asked Musaylima oh Musaylima Muhammad
have Quran what is your Quran he said
I have Quran Oh how is that a
cup that will argue not argue now that's
what he said this is the Quran of
Musaylima when the women or the bakers need
the bread and when the bakers bake the
bread when the need does need the bread
that is the Quran of Musaylima anyone who
knows Arabic will start laughing or the other
where he says you have the daughter of
another frog make noise or don't make noise
half of you in the water half of
you in the in the mud is this
the Quran this is what Musaylima then Allah
is telling his Prophet Oh Prophet if you
only see what will happen to them when
they are free from a rotten mold when
they are breathing the last okay when they
are in the the throes the throes of
death and the Malika said Malika stretching their
hands and by the way there's only one
angel who takes the souls but he has
supporters with him so he is the one
who gets the soul from the body then
he hands over hands it over to the
angels with him so the Malika ready to
receive this soul because the moment the soul
comes out if it is a good soul
it will be shrouded and lapped in a
nice shroud and a nice smell will come
out of it and then it will be
taken by the angels to Jannah but if
it is evil soul horrible soul was in
the body of that disbeliever it will be
foul smell will come out and it will
be wrapped not a good child okay and
it will be taken to Sijin not to
heaven the doors of heaven they closed they
don't they don't go up they don't accept
that so the angels are spreading their hands
searching their hands telling them bring your souls
come give up your soul today
you experience and taste this disgracing humiliating torment
punishment because of what he used to do
what he used to say about Allah by
fabricating lies district we only and you were
arrogant towards Allah's revelations his revelations Ikrimah and
Achadah Rahimahullah said this ayah this ayah 93
surat al-an'am they said this ayah
came down regarding Musaylimah the liar Musaylimah the
liar said I can't give you Quran I
can't produce Quran proclaimed that he received revelation
from Allah this mentioned by Ibn Jareer in
his Tafsir volume number three page 138 and
also Ibn Kathir mentioned this in Al-Bidaiya
wal Nahaiya the beginning at the end volume
number 6 page 364 also this because Musaylimah
you know he is the head of Bani
Hanifa Bani Hanifa and he who called him
Musaylimah al-Kaddab or Musaylimah the liar the
Prophet because he said Prophethood can be shared
between me and you you are a prophet
in Hijaz Mecca Medina and I will be
your prophet in Yamama Yamama is where we
are today that's where Bani Hanifa were living
so the Prophet called him Musaylimah the liar
and during the reign of Sayyidina Abu Bakr
al-Siddiq because Bani Hanifa refused to give
the zakah say used to give it to
Muhammad now we are not going to give
it as you know Sayyidina Abu Bakr he
fought them and brought them back to Islam
and Musaylimah was killed the famous battle is
the battle of the garden and many of
the Sahaba were martyred and guess who killed
Musaylimah who killed Musaylimah the liar Wahshin Ibn
Hawm Wahshin the one who killed Sayyidina Hamza
then he became a Muslim he's the one
who killed Wahshin who killed Musaylimah Sayyidina Wahshin
killed Musaylimah because Musaylimah was totally covered in
metal armor head to toe you don't see
anything all his body is rejected except his
eye and opening for his eye and you
know Wahshin professional at throwing the spears
so he spotted him so he threw the
spear and hit Wahshin Musaylimah in his eye
and he died also because and he was
an imposter a liar and the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam he told us there will
be thirty three zero false prophets those who
claim prophethood imposters Musaylimah was the first one
Sajjaj is a woman also he said I'm
a prophetess Tulaih Al-Asadi also said I
am a prophet Al-Aswad Al-Ansi in
Sana'a also and the list goes on
and you from time to time someone comes
and says I am a prophet and the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us that
they are liars so may Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala save us from going astray and
may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala keep us
on the right track straight path following the
footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam and his illustrious companions I mean
and may Allah save us from all the
issues and the ignoble qualities of the people
of Jahiliyya and may Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala forgive us our faults mistakes and ignorance
may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala bless us
with the beneficent knowledge and righteous deeds and
may Allah grant us good ending I mean
may Allah guide our ummah to the hub
and unite our hearts in the hub and
may Allah reward all of you my dear
brothers and sisters immensely for your patience and
the first
question
can we keep the meat of qurbani for
more than three days is there any hadith
related to the days to keep the meat
or sacrifice the answer yes you can in
the beginning the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
told the sahaba not to keep because they
were poverty and they were poor people okay
and he explained to them he said before
I told you not to to store the
meat and keep the just distribute it because
there was a need but now you can
keep the meat you can store it so
there is no problem alhamdulillah you can that
portion of the meat which is yours you
can keep it with you and put it
in the fridge and no no issue inshallah
next the next question what is the ruling
on other haircuts does it apply to haircuts
today where the hair is on the top
is kept long and is faded around the
head ie is shortened the further down you
go my question is why the muslim youth
they do that because it is the fashion
right that is the trend so
this blind imitation emulating the disbelievers so whatever
the disbelievers they do you find the muslim
youth doing this the same because now this
is the trend this is the fashion the
fashion grow hair long hair braided like bob
marley in the 60s muslims they do the
same thing because they follow the celebrities celebrities
this shows the weak of the muslim personality
weak personality islam wants
you to maintain your identity and to have
unique identity and not to emulate the disbelievers
and there's a beautiful book by sheikh al
-islam ibn taymiyyah talking about emulating and imitating
the non-believers see what the prophet of
salam did i'm asking you now combing hair
to comb your hair this is related to
mundane issues okay it's not an issue of
the deen i comb my hair this way
or that way but the prophet was teaching
us something else he wants to protect the
the muslim identity and personality so he used
to comb his hair backward and then he
showed the people the the disbelievers are doing
that so he started parting his hair from
the middle the middle to be different from
them to be different from the the non
-believers so that you have your own
identity your own personality not that you emulate
because when you imitate someone that means you
are inferior to him you feel he is
better than you and you are taking him
as your role model and example take your
prophet as your example not the this celebrity
or that celebrity this actor or that actor
or this actress or that actress your
role model the prophet of salam his wife
the sahaba these are your role model you
follow and you emulate them and imitate them
now coming to the qaza the qaza is
to shave part of the hair and leave
part of it whether you shave with the
blade or the trimmer now the trimmer they
can give you zero so you shave and
you leave part of the hair just to
conform with the trend with the the fashion
see the muslim woman there what they are
doing it is you you when you think
about you say how come a muslima behaves
this way like the catholic woman you see
muslim girls belly button her belly is shown
links in her lips nose ears that's
they behave like monkeys the monkey is known
that it imitates imitates so many people muslim
they behave like the monkeys like the monkeys
there's no izzah there's no this pride i
am a muslim i am muslima don't
you know that the prophet salam was training
the sahaba teaching them he told them do
not comb your hair every day if you
comb it today leave it two days or
one day at least yes i'm combed because
islam he doesn't want us to be you
know they can say diminish see the muslim
youth soft facial creams the
way they walk their trousers are torn part
of his huh project is shown muslim youth
the prophet was bringing up real men
real men don't comb your hair every day
the sister they know maybe her husband he's
sitting next to her at the dressing table
before he he goes outside hmm
the prophet was telling the sahaba do not
comb your hair leave it and count and
sometimes the prophet salam will tell the sahaba
walk walk without wearing your shoes pay footed
be footed walk feel the heat let the
skin of the soul become thick and solid
you are men one of the walah
the governors in egypt sahabi another
sahabi visited him and he saw him his
hair is unkempt not combed say what is
this he said our prophet salam used to
tell us do not comb your hair every
day so my advice for you my dear
brothers okay to have and
follow and take your prophet as your role
model same thing for the sisters i hope
this is clear to the questioner next the
next question must only the head of the
family refrain from cutting his nails or getting
his hair cut from the first of the
hija or is this rule for everyone in
the family no the head of the family
the one who is going to perform the
uh do the other here the one who
is going to uh over the sacrifice and
is the one the head of the family
but if there are members they want to
make up over here as well okay then
you refrain from uh cutting the nails and
and cutting the hair clipping the nails and
cutting the hair next the next question if
someone had been giving charity but now it's
been reduced due to the lack of funds
does this indicate that the person is sinning
no of course not not only he is
sinning no he's not sinning he's getting the
reward okay he was giving when he was
well off when he had the meat now
something happy allah allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
will give him the reward as if he
is still continuing doing the same thing leave
alone that he's a sinner or this is
a sin or he is sinning no he's
not next photographic the next question
can you please explain the sins that will
come with laana and hellfire and their levels
laana or the laan curse is one of
the major sins because what is laan cursing
when you curse someone that means you are
asking allah to expel him from his mercy
and to deprive him or her of allah's
mercy so in when allah curses someone that
means he is deprived of allah's mercy so
the hadith what the prophet said this
hadith allah's curse upon the tattooed and the
tattooer okay the one who tattoos and the
one who receives the tattoo the active and
the passive they are cursed okay and this
is also uh muslim youth they are doing
that i saw many i mean pictures of
brothers who reverted to islam oh the body
is full of tattoos and some tattoos they
are naked women and and i was wondering
this guy now when he is going to
make umrah and this in his arm is
this naked woman that's why the ulama they
say he tied piece of cloth on it
to hide it all the body so laan
allah so the one who asked for the
tattoo and the one who does it who's
doing it to the women and the one
who wears the wigs artificial hair and the
one who does that to the women the
beautician both of them are cursed those who
file they file their teeth they keep gaps
between the teeth who change allah's creation so
the laan is one of the major sins
and if you curse someone if he doesn't
deserve the curse you are the one who's
going to receive the curse it will fall
in you and you are the one who's
going to be deprived of allah's mercy and
the prophet he said al muslim a
muslim is not the one who insults
swears or curses or using dirty
language vulgar language he has bad mouth that's
not the muslim so these are major sins
okay so if you have these bad habits
you curse you swear you the shit of
that the one who curses will not be
able to intercede they will not be intercessors
on the day of resurrection when the prophet
sallallahu alaihi said on the day of eid
to the women oh
women give charity even by giving some or
part of your ornaments earring bracelets necklace
give anything and bilal he put his his
uh he spread a piece of cloth on
the on the ground and women were dropping
flowing because he said i saw you women
you are the majority of the people in
the hellfire the majority women so one woman
she stood up he said why oh prophet
of allah why the prophet explained sallallahu alaihi
wasallam and told them you
are ungrateful to your husband when you get
angry you forget all the good things your
husband did for you all the favors he
did for you he did you this and
that and that all these things you forget
and you say by allah you never did
anything for me so they be you are
they become ungrateful they are ungrateful to their
husbands and women they know this and the
women when they are angry they fly the
handle they go mad they go banana crazy
they curse because the husband because the children
she might tell you may allah curse the
day i met you that's why they are
the majority of the inmates in the hellfire
so this is ignoble quality major sin haram
so everyone has to get rid of this
bad habits may allah save us save us
from all these major sins i mean next
i mean this was the last question may
i accept the attendance of all the students
and the sheikh for delivering the beautiful and
insightful lesson Barakallahu feekum wa jazakumullahu khairan.
Assalamu alaikum.
Wa alaikum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
May allah subhana wa ta'ala bless all
of you my dear brothers and sisters i
reward you immensely for your patience attendance and
your dedication and may allah subhana wa ta
'ala elevate your status in this world and
in jannatul nahin.
