Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
Our class today
is in the book,
the letter to Usul,
the 3 fundamentals by Sheikh and Imam Mujadid
Muhammadir Abdul Waha Rahim.
And in the last section we reached
where the author

the iman
and the branches of iman and the degrees
of iman.
That
Iman
consists of 70 and more branches
or ranks.
And this Iman
increases and decreases, rises and falls.
It increases by doing good deeds and falls
when one's
one commits
a sin.
And there are 3
inseparable components that compiles and make up the
iman,
which are
the
verbal
actions,
the sayings,
utterances,
and the belief itself, the conviction itself,
that set of belief that you hold in
your
heart, that you've had,
and then the implementation
of that belief
in the external
world,
in life, and throughout
your limbs.
So these are 3 elements
or components
make up
the essence of the iman, and they are
integral parts of the iman. If one is
missing,
then
iman is gone.
And today, the author is mentioning
the pillars of this iman
and that is known to every Muslim,
the pillars of Al iman.
So he says,
So the faith of the the iman
has 6 pillars
or 6 components
elements.
Elements.
The meaning,
the sheikh is saying
that these 6 levels of the imam,
which are
number 1 and 2,
to believe in Allah,
then
believe in his angels,
his books,
his messengers,
their last day,
and that you believe in the Qadar,
the good of it
and the bad of it.
This is Hadith and Buhari, a Muslim.
And the proof
for these 6 pillars is Allah's statement.
So Allah
mentioned
these
pillars
in Surat Al Baqarah
aya 177.
Allah is saying,
Righteousness,
which is
is not that you turn your faces towards
the east and the west in prayer,
but rather righteousness
is for the one
who believes in Allah, the last day, the
angels, the books, and
the prophets.
This is Surat Al Baqarah,
ayah 177.
Now let us
ponder and reflect on these
6 pillars of Al iman
and.
So you believe in Allah,
This necessitates

that you believe
in his existence,
that he exists.
And there's no doubt
that he exists
because
his existence is a necessity for our existence.
What does this mean?
Because
in order for us to exist,
we should have
a creator
who brought us into being,
because we did not come into being by
ourselves.
No one can claim that I created myself.

created ourselves, I came into being by ourselves.

we came from nothing.

behind our existence.

qualities
and his descriptions.
You accept his descriptions,
his qualities,
his attributes,
his names,
which he told you about himself
throughout the revelation.
He described himself.
He mentioned himself to us,
and he mentioned his qualities. He mentioned his
attributes.
So we believe in that.
We believe in whatever
quality and attribute he has given himself, subhanahu
wa ta'ala,
without
making any resemblance
between him and human beings
or likening him to any of his creation
because
there's nothing like unto him
and he's all hearer all seer.
Nothing is like unto him and also he
sees and hears, so his seeing is not
like ours and his hearing
is not like ours.
So if ever he told us about himself,
we believe in that
without imagining
because
we cannot imagine him
because
the imagination
human imagination is limited
because the
human imagination
springs from
the observations,
what you have seen, and the lies unseen.
We didn't see him, so we cannot imagine.
Just on the same way you cannot imagine
someone
knocking on the door. You cannot imagine him
or her.
So you cannot imagine the rivers in the
Jannah and the palaces in the Jannah, etcetera.
The moment you start to imagine these rivers,
the pictures that will pop up in your

are the rivers that you have seen and
the palaces you have seen.
So we believe in his names,
and we believe in his
attributes.

that

worship.

dedicate

all our deeds to him and him, only
subhanahu

any partner with him.

you believe

call upon him by his names.

them free will,

they are believers and disbelievers because Allah has

in the angels.

A servant will be in the shade of

The Sadaka, the charity you give here
will form shade for you.
The more setup you give, the more shade
you will have.
So if you want to have shade on
that day,
spend
everyday.

1 dirham
or 1 pound or less than that, to
$1 or less than that,
Every day, make it your habit.
Spend.
So that on that day,
you will have shade when people are sweating.
So that day,
Allah gets angry.
No one dares to talk to him.

Adam, alaihis salaam, and they plead to him,
and they beg him to talk to Allah.
And he said, no, I cannot.
My Lord got angry,

become angry like today
ever.

till they come to the prophet and
he comes and he prostrates,
vows before
Allah
