AI: Summary ©
We are ready when you are inshallah.
Okay. Let's begin.
Brothers and sisters,
welcome to our weekly lesson of Masa'il Jahliyah
delivered by our honorable Sheikh Sheikh Salim Al
Amri. I will pass the mic and the
screen to the
Muhammadin
to her.
Today is our weekly class,
the issues of Jahiliya.
And in the last session,
we went through the types of kufal,
types of
disbelief.
Because the kufar has
many types.
As you know,
there
is major kufar and minor kufal and major
shirk and minor shirk.
So here, we are talking about the major
kufal,
the kufal that will take someone out of
the fold of Islam.
And the word kufr
means
to
disbelief and to deny
and reject what is known as the deen
by necessity.
So kufr
is the disbelief.
Literally, of course, the word kufr,
Arabic word, means to suffer
to suffer something.
Because the kafir
the kafir or disbeliever,
he is covering the truth because
Allah created
all of us
upon nature,
the natural
disposition,
the innate
belief in Allah,
the fitula. So this is something embedded.
That's how Allah created us.
And all of us, all human beings testify
there's oneness.
Because prior to our appearance
and existence in this worldly life,
we were in the world of spirits.
K? So Allah took all of us
from the loin and the back of our
father, Adam,
and all of us were
peasant before him.
And he made all of us to testify
to his oneness, and all we did that.
But this covenant,
this
and
and and and undertaken
and promise,
we don't recall it.
So Allah created all of us as believers.
So that's why the word is called,
means to cover. So you are covering the
the the the belief, the iman,
Because
the origin is the belief, not the disbelief.
So you are covering something. You are covering
your iman,
and that's why
the will be clouded.
And the one who covers his iman, when
he is under tough
circumstances,
he or she,
that cover
will be
broken,
removed,
and the nature, the will come out. And
you see this person crying.
Oh my god. Oh my god. Including the
atheists themselves.
Okay. Coming to the types of or types
of disbelief, and here we are talking about
the major.
And this is just a recap for few,
minutes, then we'll continue.
This
is number 1.
With this type of disbelief, which is based
upon
denying
and belaying the revelation. So you deny the
revelation.
You deny what come from heaven. You deny
the
the message
that has been
addressed to you
by the messengers,
the prophets of Allah,
and you belie them. So you
deny and belied
the message, the revelation.
And that's what Allah mentioned in Surat Al
Baqarah aya
So Allah clearly tells us
about
this type of people and this category of
people.
And when there came to them,
a book, this Quran,
from Allah,
what did they do?
Confirming
what is with them.
The Quran confirms
the previous
scriptures.
Although a 4th time they had invoked Allah
for the coming of Muhammad salallahu alaihi wa
sallam.
Allah,
of course, here is addressing
the people of the scripture
who used
to pray
because they knew that this is a time
of a prophet to to appear.
And they were threatening the Arabs, telling the
Arabs, this is the time of a prophet
who will come, will believe in him, and
follow him, and we will
wipe you out.
We'll kill you all. They were threatening the
Arabs.
Although a 4th time, they had invoked a
law by the coming of Muhammad
in order to gain victory over those who
disbelieved.
Then guess what?
Then when they came to them that which
they had recognized,
So when they
found out that this prophet that they were
waiting for
came
from among the Arabs
because the Arabs were their cousins.
The they were the descendants
of
Isaac, and the Arabs were the descendants
of
descendants of,
Ishmael or Ishmael.
May peace and blessing be all upon all
of them.
So now this prophet they were waiting for,
he came from among their cousins, the Arabs.
Then when they came to them that which
they had recognized,
because
the prophet
was known to them. He was known to
them. As Allah said,
They know him just like the way
they recognize, and they know their own children.
They disbelieved in it, so they rejected the
prophet
and they rejected the message of Islam.
Though
they knew
they knew
they knew that this is the prophet that
we were waiting for, and he is the
the true prophet. They know that.
Then Allah said,
so Allah called them disbelievers.
So let the curse of Allah
be on the disbelievers.
So
you know the truth, and then you hide
it, and you reject it, and you deny
it,
and you rely
the the prophet.
Also, Allah said in Surat Al Baqarah, a
100 46.
This is another
place where Allah described to us
the status.
Those we have given the scripture
recognize this prophet as they recognize
their own children,
yet a group of them hides the truth
knowingly
knowingly.
That's why
they are called because
they are covering the truth.
We certainly know that they have
the, what they say grieves you, oh, Muhammad.
Allah is telling, consoling his prophet. I know
that it grieves you
when they are rejecting you. Then Allah says,
no. No. No.
It is not your honesty they question. They
don't
question your honesty.
They know that you are a true person.
They're trustworthy.
They know you.
It is Allah saying that the wrongdoer was
denied, not you.
Musa Allah said in Surat Al Nammel aya
14. Like, regarding the people of the pharaoh,
So
to know the truth
and you say, I know the truth.
I know it is the
I believe it is the I know he
is the prophet.
But when you don't follow him,
what's the use? What's the food? What's the
benefit?
So here, Allah tells us, and they belied
them,
Allah's signs,
when Moses showed them all the signs.
And they belied them
wrongfully and arrogantly.
What's that gonna tell?
They are their own souls
were convinced
they're off.
They knew that this this are science from
Allah.
See.
So see what the end of the was.
The disbelievers,
the mischievers,
the liars, and the evildoers. What happened to
them? They were drawn
drowned
in the sea.
So the imam, my dear brothers and sisters,
is not just what you hold in your
heart and you believe in your heart, and
your actions
say the opposite.
That will not make you
a.
Otherwise, you have to say, Quran was,
and his people were
because they believed in their heart.
And this is this ayah refutes the deviant
*, the
the. This is a known * in the
history of Islam
who
detached and separated and removed
the action from the iman.
You know that the definition of iman keep
this in mind and learn it.
Iman has 3 main components
3 main components.
So the iman, iman equal.
Not three elements.
This is the formula of the iman.
Iman equal
The utterance,
the pronunciation.
You pronounce,
you utter,
you declare
the testimony.
So this utterance upon your tongue
when you say the kalima, when you say
I bear witness there's no deity worthy of
worship, blah, blah, blah,
and I bear witness
that Muhammad is
the messenger of Allah.
That is element number 1. Element number 2,
component number 2,
and the belief,
faith
in the heart.
This,
this
set of beliefs,
this
this doctrine, this,
belief that you hold in your heart.
You believe that in the oneness of Allah,
the creator is 1 and his names and
his attributes.
You believe he is the one who deserve
to be worshipped. You believe in the unseen.
You believe in the next life. You believe
in the resurrection.
Oh, set of belief that you hold in
your heart
that we refer to as
because
literally means something tied
because
means to make a knot,
to tie. So this set of belief is
tied firmly in your heart.
That's why we call it.
Means the heart.
So that is component number 2.
The third element or third component,
and actions by the limbs,
Actions by the limbs. Physical actions.
Prayer,
fasting,
going to Hajj, etcetera.
Jihad.
So these are actions, physical action by the
limbs.
So these are the 3
inseparable
components of iman.
If you remove one of them,
then there is no iman.
Because the formula,
iman
e equal
the utterance, u,
multiplied by
the conviction,
which is in your heart,
c,
multiplied by
the actions of the limbs, a.
So iman equal
u c a.
The utterance multiplied by the conviction multiplied by
the action. So
this is now the formula.
If one of the variables,
the 3 variables,
all are valuables,
the utterance is valuable,
the conviction is valuable,
and
the actions are valuable.
So if anyone increases
the project, the iman
increases.
If anyone of the city decreases,
the
outcome, the result also the iman falls.
And this what you feel. You feel your
iman. If you graph your iman,
you see the graph going up and down.
Today, your iman is here. Tomorrow, your iman
is here. Then someone reminds you about Allah
and the then your iman picks up.
Then someone,
invites you for haram. So you,
followed him, then your iman drops, and that's
how your iman goes up and down.
It's not steady.
Because all the 3
can change. They're not constant.
Utterance can increase and decrease.
You can keep your tongue busy with the
dikr,
and you feel it.
If you are keeping for hours, you are
in the dikr still far.
Oh, you feel you are in another world
now. You feel your spirituality
is increasing.
You feel the serenity, the tranquillity,
the peace of mind,
the happiness
because of the dikr. Your tongue is engaged
in dikr,
and that's what the prophet
said. Keep your tongue always
busy with the dikr of Allah.
And the dikr said,
a dikr is just like water.
Dikr for the heart, like water for the
fish.
Very simple.
Take a fish out of the water, it
will die.
Stop the dikr, your heart will die.
Your heart will become dull.
Your heart will become
hard
because there's no zikr.
There's no zikr.
Verily in the remembrance of Allah,
the heart
find
serenity,
peace, tranquility,
calmness.
So
if you keep your tongue busy with the
zikr, you will feel your iman is rising.
You feel it
immediately.
And the exam and Ramadan, because you are
always busy reading Quran, Istufat,
Khalil, Takbir,
you feel your iman is rising.
So the iman the iman come alive due
to the lives of the
utterance,
the verbal
actions.
The iman also can increase
because the conviction itself that Ishikar
can increase.
Can the iShikar increase
or decrease
something or weaken? I'll say yes. Definitely.
Definitely.
How do you increase the conviction itself? How
can you strengthen it?
You strengthen it when you know more about
it, when you know
more about the proofs of the iman.
When you know more
more proofs and evidence
for the issues of faith,
your iman gets
stronger.
That's why the conviction of a scholar is
not like the conviction of a layman
because the scholar, he knows the details.
So that's why it is difficult to shake
his iman
and shake his faith,
but easy to shake the faith of someone
whose knowledge is not that much about the
details
of the issues
of the imam.
You know when Ibrahim alaihis salaam asked Allah
Azzawajal
to show him how to give life to
the dead,
He asked,
my lord, show me how
you give life to the dead.
Allah asked him,
haven't you believed? And Blaheim said, I believe.
I want more more certainty,
more
affirmness,
and more
purity.
So Allah told
him, Okay. Take 4
birds,
kill them,
cut them,
and distribute
distribute their meat
around the mountains
or the helix around you, and then call
them.
And that's what he did.
And, yes, he called them, and they came,
fluttering their wings.
The question is now, do you think iman
of Ibrahim
would be the same
as before?
Definitely not. Now the iman is very, very,
very,
hitting the sky very high
because he saw
with his own eyes
how Allah
gives life to the dead.
So the conviction also can increase, and that's
why
if you want to increase your faith and
strengthen this belief in your heart,
learn the issues of iman,
the details.
Know the details
of all the pillars of iman,
the belief in Allah. No. Your
lord,
learn about the names of Allah.
Learn the attributes of Allah
so your
faith will become stronger.
Learn about the details
of the next life.
Learn about the angels, the word of angels,
the word of the jinn.
Learn about the hellfire.
Learn about the jannah.
Oh, the pillars of iman, you know
them in and out, you know the details,
then this conviction,
this Iftikar
will be really very firm,
and I recommend
each one of you, my dear brothers and
sisters, to download immediately
the series.
And please forward the link to to the
brothers and sisters,
the series of Omar Suleiman al Ashqab on
these issues
with the belief in Allah, the belief in
the angels, the belief in the hellfire,
and the signs of the hour. Read this
series
and master it.
Then
the third element which are the actions of
the limbs,
they're also
valuable,
not constant.
So the
more righteous deeds you do,
the more the stronger your iman.
You play the 5 prayers and then the
sunan regular sunan
and then nafil,
and you get about night and break the
Hajjot. You you see your iman is rising.
It's rising. Why? Because now more actions by
your limbs.
More actions.
Physical actions. Because salah, there are many
acts physically.
So the actions of the limbs can increase.
Giving charity,
participating in jihad,
going to Hajj, going to Umrah.
So all these things, when they increase, the
action of the limbs are increased,
then
the iman will increase.
Anyone increases
because it is multiplied
by the rest, the iman also will increase.
And if all of them increase,
iman will raise you the maximum.
K.
But to say
that actions
are not part of the iman, that is
what the
did.
That's why they are called
Why?
Because they did.
And what's the meaning of?
Means to postpone,
to delay.
So they say the actions
are delayed. They are not part
of the iman, so they are outside the
iman.
That's why they say the iman to them,
the
is fixed.
So they say the iman of Abu Bakr
al Sadiq and the iman of the alcoholic
and the fourniquator
is the same.
Of course, this deviant *
as persons,
they don't exist anymore.
But as thought thought
or quite trembling this thought of the Ijja
among the Muslims.
You hear him?
Emmanuel everyone
is tapping his heart.
Iman is here. Iman is here.
No salah, no siyam, no zakah, no hay,
all types of haram, and everyone is stabbing
his heart.
And he's saying he's a. No. There's no
iman.
No iman.
Don't fool yourself.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in the Quran
read.
Always.
No Amal?
No actions?
No imam. Because then if the amal becomes
0,
0 must apply by anything becomes 0.
No salah, no imam.
That is simple.
The undertaking,
the covenant,
the promise between us and them
is the salah.
Whoever leaves the salah, Hakad Kahf, he has
disbelieved
disbelief.
And the Sahaba
unanimously
agreed that if you leave the salah,
they're not a Muslim.
Allah says,
woe to the Musaleel, the praying
people, persons
who delay their prayers. They pray, but they
delay.
So Allah said, woe to them.
There is
extreme punishment for them. Some of the
commentators, they say the the whale is a
valley in the hellfire
in the books of Tafsir.
The Malaika, they rebuke
those who are thrown into the hellfire.
They will rebuke them
and talk to them sarcastically.
Uproach you to the hellfire.
We were not praying. That's why we are
in the hellfire.
K?
So that's why the prophet
the last words that came from his mouth,
Take care of your prayers. Take care of
your prayers,
and take care of those whose
whom your right hands possess.
The slaves, take care of them.
Be
kind and nice to them.
So
be careful
of following
the
belief of the
the
everyone is saying, iman is here.
No.
You have to verbalize,
and you have to express what you hold
in your heart
conviction by the heart.
And actions by the limbs.
This iman
rises and falls, increases and decreases.
A iman rises when you do good deeds
and
falls
and decreases when you commit sins.
This is the belief of.
So there's no room for the relief of
the
who are saying that, you know what? You
will become only
if you believe in the kufr.
But if you pronounce kufr, if you say
something kufr,
if you insult Allah
while you believe in him, but you are
insulting him, you are still mumin.
Mu'min. Insulting Allah. Cursing Allah.
Yeah. There are some Muslims
who call themselves Muslims.
When they get angry, they insult Allah.
They curse Allah.
And then you say they are still Muslims
because
he
believes, but he got angry, so he's been
bugging Allah.
Allah
said regarding
those who were mocking and ridiculing the Ayat
of Allah.
This is this ayat came down regarding some
of the monotheteer,
hypocrites
who said when
in the battle of Tubuk,
when they were
chatting among themselves,
they said,
Muhammad.
He said, we haven't seen
people who are so coward in the battlefield
than Muhammad and his companions. They are very
coward.
So one of the Sahaba heard them and
went to the prophet
When he reached
to the prophet
the already reached
came down and formed him. So there came
the hypocrites.
We were only gesting.
We didn't mean anything.
Allah said, upon the tongue of his prophet,
call. Tell them, Muhammad, tell them,
Abila,
you mock Allah?
You crack jokes about Allah?
Well Abiullah,
you crack jokes about Allah
and his aya
and his messenger?
You were mocking.
No
excuse.
You have become
blasphemers,
disbelievers.
So to say
that
you insult Allah,
but if
you believe in him, you are still a
Muslim.
You curse Allah, but if you believe in
him, you are still a Muslim.
No.
There are actions
in themselves,
a clear manifestation
of kufar. Clear manifestation.
You don't know Allah?
You don't know Allah?
You don't know his prophets?
So if you insult the prophet
you become careful.
Only yourself, any of the prophets of Allah.
Only if you say anything bad about any
of the prophets of Allah.
Or the books that Allah sent down.
These are things that will take you out
of the fold of Islam. These actions.
If you throw the Quran
just like that or burn it or
tear it,
this takes you out to the swamp.
These actions. By just doing these things,
you become a disbeliever
by these actions.
So to say that
he will become a a cavalier, a disbeliever
only if he
disbelieved in his heart. But if he is
doing covert actions, that is fine.
This is the evil fruit and the influence
and the effects of the.
So Allah
said here,
saying. K?
No. They believed in their hearts
about them.
K?
But they denied them throughout
the actions
through the actions.
So see what the end of the
was.
So this is this was a quick recap
for what we covered
last session,
and we will proceed. Another type of kufur.
This is called
kufru
al yahliliram.
So this chart of kuhr
is the disbelief
disbelief
due to arrogance
and indifference
indifference
like the disbelief
of beliefs,
Satan.
Satan,
he knew
the truth.
He was
with the malaika, with the angels,
when he was
commanded to when the angels were commanded to
prostrate
before Adam as a sign and a gesture
of showing
respect.
Allah commanded them to do that,
so he refused.
So this
rejection
and refusal
was due
to his arrogance.
That's what made him
cursed by Allah. That's why Allah cursed him.
He was arrogant
and indifferent. He doesn't care.
And there are many people like Iblis.
They are arrogant
and indifferent.
They don't want to know the truth,
and they don't want to learn the truth.
So this is another major kuford.
He is now 60 years or 70 years,
and what he knows about Islam is nothing
except that his name is a Muslim name.
He never prayed. He never
went to a masjid.
He is living in another world.
Doesn't care about the deen at all.
Deen is not there in his mind.
He's a secularist,
only believes in any other
different ideologies.
He's a communist or he's
okay.
Or agnostic.
Look, his parents, they were Muslims.
So they were there are many people
who are just like their master
beliefs.
So this child of covered disbelief
of the Iran and the
the cubit.
Allah
like Iblis. Allah says in Surat Al Baqarah,
Ith 34.
And
remember, when we say to the angels,
prostate before Adam,
so they all did,
but not Ibeliefs,
who refused and acted elegantly,
becoming
unfaithful,
and he became a disbeliever
by refusing
Allah's command.
Because he knew
he knew that the command included him.
Because
they guess what?
Yeah. Yeah. They are human beings defending Iblis.
K.
There's an Egyptian
writer.
He wrote a book defending
Iblich.
See, Iblich was not commanded. The Malaika were
commanded,
and this shows his
compound ignorance.
Iblich himself
didn't use that as an excuse because he
knew, Iblis,
that the command,
though it was addressed to the malaika,
included
himself. He was included
because he was with them.
So that's why he didn't say to Allah,
oh, Allah, you didn't command me. You commanded
the Malaika. No.
What he did
said,
That's what he said to Allah when Allah
questioned him.
Oh, Iblis, why didn't you prostrate?
He said,
I am better than Adam.
Adam was created from the Earth,
from the clay.
And better than him
and better than him.
So that's why Allah crushed him.
So he knew that he was supposed to
have a prosthet, but
out of
atoms.
How come that one who was created from
the fire,
which is better than
the earth,
should forsake him. So he was rejecting
Allah's
command.
And here, the ulema, they're saying,
keep this in mind, my dear brothers and
sisters,
and don't let the shaitan
to pull your leg and play with your
mind.
If you are committing sins
and you are
involved in haram,
one thing keep in mind
that what you are doing is wrong,
and you should believe that what you are
doing is haram.
And keep ask Allah to forgive you and
to bring you back and to grant you
Tawba
before you
die. Because the moment you
because the shaitan listen to this. The shaitan
will not leave you.
The shaitan will not be
content, will not be satisfied.
He will not have that contentment
by just
drinking alcohol or committing zina. No. That's not
enough for him.
And then the guilt eats you after
you commit haram. You feel the guilt.
And maybe you will,
go and take a shower and pray and
ask forgiveness.
Shaitan doesn't want that
because he knows.
If you
still
believe that what you are doing is wrong,
there is a chance for you to go
back.
He doesn't want that.
So he will keep promoting you and pulling
you and sucking you into the mire of
sinfulness
until you start
making and believing
that what you are doing is okay.
It's okay.
It is halal.
So he will not believe you until you
believe
what you are doing is correct.
Once you believed
that what you are doing is correct,
then you are out of Islam totally.
Because now
you are saying
it is halal
When Allah says it is haram,
so you are rejecting what Allah is saying.
I don't believe it is haram. I believe
it is halal.
I believe it is permissible.
I believe it is lawful.
So the shaytan will not believe you until
you reach that stage.
Before that, he will never leave you.
He will never leave you. Because he knows
that if you go back,
and raise your hands, cry to Allah sincerely,
my lord, forgive me. He will forgive you.
Allah will forgive
you no matter what you did. And you
know
you know that Allah forgave the prostitute
when she gave water to the thirsty dog?
Allah who gave the one who killed 90
9 innocent souls, and then he completed
and made them 100.
And when he repented, Allah accepted him. So
the shaitan knows these things.
That's why my dear brothers and sisters,
we in Islam,
we don't look upon the sinners.
They are our brothers and sisters.
We extend our hands to them,
and we pray for them. Say, come.
Sheikh, I am bad person. No. No. You
are not bad. Come. Come.
Come.
Give me your hand. Come.
Come off this
pool of
dirt.
Take a shower. Clean. Remove this dirt.
And I know.
I know. Wallahi. I know.
People,
if I tell you this was like that
before, you'll not believe it.
Masha'allah,
he's always in the masjid, and you see
you see the iman.
If I tell you this was drug addict,
you will not believe it.
He was alcoholic, you're not relieved.
That's why our brothers and sisters, they need
people of kind heart
to accommodate them and to take them.
And, you know,
there are examples.
You can see them on the net.
A guy goes to places where people, Muslims,
are committing sins, and he's calling them
calling them. And you can see them they
are crying.
Of course,
you can discuss. Is it permissible to go
to such places? No.
That was his Ijihad,
and Allah
will
reward him according to his intention.
But he see
those who were in such
environment,
when they were reminded,
they came back
to Allah
So when you see a Muslim who is,
uh-huh,
has who has fallen into
this Maya of mindfulness,
give him a hand. He needs someone to
help him,
and he he needs someone to give him
hope
hope, Amal.
Don't talk to those people and tell them
hellfire and the grave. They already
in state of despair.
They need someone to tell them no.
The door for Tawba is open.
Come to Allah.
Will Allah accept me? Yes.
I did this and this and this. Yes.
I am very bad. Allah will accept you.
Come. Just come.
I'm very bad. He he can't imagine.
Have you killed
anyone?
No. No. I'm not that bad. Okay. So
Allah Allah forgave the one who killed 100
innocent souls, so come.
Allah forgave the prostitutes, so come.
So don't be like at least
at least rejected Allah's command.
You don't reject Allah's command.
Say, oh Allah,
I I do these things due to weakness.
I am very weak.
Sent in my iman.
I know what I'm doing is haram.
Because At least
he disobeyed Allah.
Adam disobeyed Allah, but Allah forgave Adam, and
he did not
forgive
At least. Why?
Because Iblis
rejected Allah's command
and had them
he confessed.
See, my lord, I wronged myself. Forgive me.
Allah forgave him.
That's why many times I mentioned this example.
I said there are 2 Muslims drinking alcohol.
So we asked the first one,
why are you drinking alcohol? I said, chef.
Half a half a sip, chef.
It's okay.
It is, believe me,
like the cocktail,
fruit juice,
like orange juice.
And believe me, just like water.
So what he's saying, it is halal.
The other one, why are you drinking alcohol?
Sheikh, pray for me. Make dua for me.
May Allah curse it. I know it is
the mother of all evil.
Make dua for me. Are they the same?
No. The first one is
like a bliss. His role model is a
bliss. He's saying alcohol is halal. The other
one, he's saying
it is haram,
but due to weakness,
I drink it.
So they are not the same. First one
is kavar, the second one is
a sinner.
So So Allah
says here regarding Iblis,
And remember when we say to the angels,
prostrate before Adam.
So they all did.
All prostrated
before Adam,
but not at least
or refused and acted elegantly,
becoming
unfaithful. So this is the type of Kufur,
which is called Kufur Al Arab,
This type of disbelief of
rejecting
the truth and and
because of arrogance and indifference.
Allah says in Surat An Nur Ayah 47.
And the hypocrites
say and the hypocrites say,
we believe in Allah.
And the messenger,
and we obey.
Then a group of them turns away soon
after that.
These are not
true believers.
My dear brothers and sisters, I beg all
of you,
have a book of tafsir
in your library.
And when you are reading the ayaat, read
the tafsir of the ayaat.
Always keep 2 types of khatma.
2 types of
2 khatma to,
Quran you read. 1 you read,
every day, one chapter so that you'll finish
it in 1 month.
The other is called khatma tadabbur.
So you read here this
Quran
for pondering,
reflecting,
and understanding,
and this may take you years.
No problem.
You read the
aya. You read the meaning.
You read the tafsir.
You read the
grammatical
structure.
You read the,
understand the vocabularies
mentioned in the aya.
That's how you will
strengthen your attachment to the book of Allah.
So Allah says
the hypocrites.
Today, don't you hear
many hypocrites?
I'm a Muslim.
Yes. I'm a Muslim. I'm Muslim.
Okay.
And then
That's why
to apply the law of Allah and the
Sharia?
I don't agree with that.
Hello. Hello.
And you are a Muslim, and you are
a Muslim,
and you don't want Allah's law,
and you are against it, and then you
call yourself Muslim.
Don't you know the meaning of Muslim?
Submission?
Where is your submission?
You dare to say,
I am against the law of Allah. I
don't want the law of Allah.
I don't want the Sharia
Sharia.
It's not applicable for our time.
It was applicable for a certain period of
time in the past
when the communities were primitive,
but not today.
I believe that everyone has the right to
choose what he wants.
That's their choice,
and they have to give them their choice.
They have to defend them, and they have
to
protect their rights.
Men, they want to marry men. That's okay.
Their rights.
Women, they want to marry women. Okay. That
is their rights. Who give them such rights?
You?
Allah destroyed one complete town because of such
a sin,
and you are saying,
I give them their rights?
And you become their advocate and defender,
and their lawyer,
and then you call yourself a
Yeah. We believe in Allah and the Messenger,
and then they fight Allah's Deen,
attack the Deen.
Okay? We believe in Allah and the Messenger,
and we obey.
Then Allah says,
Then a group of them turns away.
Soon after that,
then Allah
I'm not true believers.
So the iman is not a claim, my
dear brothers and sister. It's not a claim.
Also, Allah says
in Surat al Aqaf.
Alright. Number 3.
We only created the heavens and the earth
we all created the heavens and the earth
and everything in between
for a purpose
and an appointed
term,
yet
yet
the disbelievers
are turning away
from what they have been warned about.
So here, they are turning away. They're rejecting
the truth. They don't want
to listen to the truth and accept the
truth.
They're allowed.
They did not create the heavens and the
earth. And what is in between?
Allah is telling us there is something in
between
between
all these
heavens
and earth. It's not
vacuum.
There is something else.
And now they are referring to this. What
is in between? They say
dark matter dark matter. What is it? They
don't know.
So Allah is telling us that he created
the heavens and the earth, and everything in
between
is
a
or specific purpose.
We created them
not for
nothing.
In vain. No.
There is
specific
purpose for that.
Then after he said this, he said,
and those who disbelieve,
the disbelievers,
yet the disbelievers are turning away
from what they have been warned about.
Al salah said in Surat Al Hejal
regarding Iblis.
Surat Al Hejal, I have 31
In,
Ibeniza,
Aba,
and
Yakunam, Asaikiti.
Why? Hargence.
Pride.
Indifference,
except at least or refused to proceed with
others,
as Allah said in Surat Ilsa'am.
I 61.
Again, and remember,
when we said to the angels, prostrate before
Adam, so they all did, but not at
least who protect
protested.
He objected.
Should I per se to the one you
have created
from mud?
So he's rejecting Allah's command.
I am better than him.
And creator of the fire. He's creator of
the earth, the clay, the mud.
Then Allah said,
Allah says,
and remember when we say to the angels
prostrate
before Adam.
So they all did
not at least who was one of the
jinn. So at least
was not one of the Malaika.
Oh, you read in some books,
Kahu al Malaika, he was the the chief
of the angels. No. No. No. He was
from the jinn
who was one of the jinn, but he
rebelled against the command of his lord.
Would you then take him and his descendants
descendants
as patrons
instead of me,
as protectors instead of me, although
they are your enemy,
what an evil
alternative
for the wrongdoers to choose.
So here Allah
my dear brothers and sisters,
he
blames
the children of Adam,
and he reminds them,
and he is telling them,
remember
with pun al Malaika,
remember that when we told the angels,
prostrate
before Adam your father,
and the Malaika,
prostrated for say you do.
And
by the way,
I just
divert a little bit.
You know, in Arabic,
means
exclusion.
K. So
I can say,
The people came except Zayd.
Zayd
is excluded
because it is mentioned
after
on one condition,
providing that the element, the one that is
excluded belongs to
the group mentioned before.
So Zaid is a human being,
and the old human being, so he's one
of them. That's okay.
And sometimes,
the one that is excluded
does not belong to the
to the group mentioned.
So in this case, they they call this
So this type of
exclusion is not continuous exclusion. It is discontinued
one or discontinuous one
because
the one that is excluded does not belong
to them. He's not one of them.
And in that case, it will be always,
and this is an example for it.
Iblis is not does not belong to the
group of the Malaika,
so this is called
because it doesn't belong to the group of
the Malaika,
and it has to be also always.
K. So this is called
Iblis. Iblis
refused to pass state
because he's from the jinn, not from the
malaika.
That's why Allah
said, because he doesn't belong to the group
of the Malaika.
So this is Islam Muqatta. Means
that he became rebellious because the fusuk,
when you come out,
you come out from something.
So he came out from the
the from the state of being
obedient to Allah.
He came out from that state, and he
became rebellious.
Because
fasapa,
actually,
when
the arrived date, the arrived date, the date
is so arrived that when you touch,
you want to pick this date,
what comes out,
the skin.
The skin comes out.
And the meat, the flesh remains.
So the the skin is separated from the
flesh.
So when a person is called fasik,
that he has come out
from the state of power, from the state
of uprightness,
from the state of obedience.
So he came out.
He's fashal.
That's why sinners are called fashal because they
left the state of power,
state of obedience,
doing good deeds, and now they are committing
sins.
So that's why the sinner is called fasuk.
So Vasar jaydu and sometimes the fiskan means
kuvur, like Iblis here. So Farsikar,
he became capital, of course.
Not he's a Farsikar sinner. No.
It depends on the context.
So
he came away, and he left Allah's command.
He became so rebellious,
rebelled against the command of his lord. Then
Allah
posed this question.
Would you then take him and his
descendants
as protectors instead of me
when you know they are your enemies?
Although
they are your enemy,
what an evil alternative for wrongdoers to choose.
And then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala also said
in Surataha
aya 116
Adam.
And remember when we say to the angels,
prostrate before Adam.
So they all did, but not at least
who refused
arrogantly.
And we conclude with this ayah and
surah tad, ayah 74.
Except at least
he was arrogant and was one of the
disbelievers,
one of the disbelievers.
So this is the type of the kufr
of al Arab and the al Iba
and kibr
that you know the truth, you know the
hap, you don't follow it.
So this then you will be
just like
Iblis, just like the
source
of all evils, and that is Iblis.
May Allah's curse upon him.
Allah cursed him.
So
he's your open enemy.
May Allah save us from his cheeks,
and may Allah
keep us remain steadfast
from this beautiful deed
till we meet him and find him pleased
with all of us. Ameen.
May Allah forgive us our faults, our mistakes,
and ignorance,
and may Allah
bless us with the beneficial knowledge and righteous
deeds.
And may Allah
guide
our and unite
our and may Allah reward
all of you,
my dear brothers and sisters, immensely
for your patience and attendance.
We begin the question and answer time now.
So the first
first question received,
who's qualified to make the tafsir of the
Quran?
Is it permissible for any
individual
who
knows Arabic to do his own
without referring to earlier books of?
The answer, no.
The answer, no.
You you don't make tafsir with of your
own.
Actually, you have to refer to the books
of tafsir
and
read what the
books of tafsir
and the scholars of the tafsir mentioned.
So you are actually,
coaching and referring to what the Mufassiroun
mentioned in their books.
K. Even though you know Arabic, that is
not enough.
So because you have to
refer to the books of the Tafsir, and
you have to study the
sciences of the Quran, Alumu
Quran, all these
prerequisites you have to fulfill.
I hope this is clear to the questioner.
It was clear, Sheikh. If not, they can
send another question back. The next question, is
it advisable to leave
a certain Mubah action
if you see
that it can make them to hate the
religion in whole?
To leave something Mubah,
out of fear that if you do it,
they will leave the deen. They will hate
the deen because of it or what?
Yes. Just that's what the question says. It
says, is it advisable to leave a certain
mobile action
if you see that
it can make
some group of people to hate
the religion in whole?
Okay.
Okay. The answer the answer, yes.
If you fear that
by doing this particular thing, which is,
it's not something,
obligatory,
and you see that and you feel there
is a
benefit
in leaving and do
not not doing it,
okay, so that you will,
convince them and bring them closer to the
dean,
that's what I'm fine because we are not
there. You just left something,
and you feel there is a benefit in
that.
K?
But, of course, that providing that you
you don't believe that this Mubah now becomes,
something
haram. No. You know it is halal,
but you are leaving it for this particular
reason. And if the questioner can give an
example
and more details, then the picture will be
much clearer.
Next.
Now I'm Sheikh. There's a center
follow-up type of,
summary, the same question.
For example, here in our local village,
there are so many children who were born
out of marriage,
and their father stayed with them, giving them
full rights.
But when it gets
when it's to get married,
the local chef prevents their fathers to give
them in marriage
and
is telling
those
who got married to cancel
their
marriage?
The question, to be honest,
I mean,
it's vague
a bit.
But, anyway,
the question I'm saying that where he or
she lives,
there are
many children who are born out of the
wedlock.
That means
the father, he slept with the mother,
and this child was born, then they married
each other.
Okay. If I understood the question correct question
correctly.
Now this issue, first of all, let us
deal with this issue.
It is your biological
son or daughter,
and
you know that, and the mother knows that,
that she's never slept with anyone except you.
There is a hadith,
the proverb and and the woman was not
married before.
When this man slept with her, she was
not married.
Either
she was virgin or she was a divorcee
or a
widow.
Now there is a hadith, the prophet
said,
because if a woman who is married
and slept with another man, she cheated on
her husband,
and she became pregnant.
K.
The father didn't know about this. The child
is a legitimate child,
which means
the child belongs to the
to the to the to the father.
Firash means here to the wedlock, to the
marriage.
And for the adulterer
is the
haggal, stoning.
So so the child is a legitimate child,
and he is the son of this man,
not the adulterer. No.
The man who is married to the woman.
And
the child will grow up in the family
and
will inherit his father when his father passed
away, etcetera.
Now the question is,
what if
the woman was not married?
Either she was virgin
or divorcee, etcetera.
So there is no Firage.
There's no marriage at all.
Here,
and this then this man, he slept with
this woman, and she became pregnant, and the
child is born.
The
of the scholars,
they consider this child
a a legitimate child.
So he cannot say that he is my
son. No.
Based on the hadith,
because this child is born outside the wedlock.
Imam Abu Hanifa Rahim Allah
and Shaikh al Islami bintania, they hold the
opinion
that if
this child
is his biological child
and the woman didn't sleep with any other
man,
then this child can be attributed and he
can be
his son,
and
they can make,
sign make him a wedlock out,
backdated
backdated.
And in our case, my teacher, the one
who taught me, I studied with him the
Alum Al Arabiya. He was a party in
in Europe, and he mentioned the case
that
Muslim and Arab
but he was far away from Islam,
and he was living with the European women.
As you know, like,
the way husband and wife, but they were
not married, and many and they had many
children.
Then he
came back to Allah. He became a Muslim,
practicing Muslim, etcetera. And now
they are telling him these are not your
children. So he said he went mad.
So he approached us, and we look into
the case that they are
biological in his children. So
we followed the,
opinion of other scholars
in Madhouse,
and we made the the after contact,
backdated,
and said the documents, they are your children.
So now if the questioner meant something like
this,
someone,
his child, biological child,
was born
outside out the wedlock,
if he
took the child as his son or her
daughter
or his daughter,
then
he can act as the willi or the
guardian.
Now if this imam or the scholars in
the area,
when it comes to the marriage,
maybe he's holding the other opinion. He's not
following the the opinion of Imam Abu Hanifa.
He's following the the,
the.
So he is not a. He cannot be
a guardian. He cannot be a.
So then the imam or anybody else can
take the play the role of the, and
Allah knows best.
I hope this is clear to the questioner.
It is clear, Sheikh.
And that was our final question, Sheikh.
I'd like to conclude.
May Allah
bless you, protect you. May
Allah elevate your status on this word
and and may Allah
forgive us all our faults and mistakes and
ignorance,
and may Allah keep us to remain steadfast
in this beautiful deen
to meet him and find him please of
with all of us. I mean, and may
Allah guide our to
the and unite our hearts on the Until
we meet
in the coming session,
I leave you
in Allah's company
and protection.
