Shivan, are ready when you are.
Brothers and sisters,
and welcome to our 34th
lesson
of
The 3 fundamental principles,
delivered by our honorable Sheikh Sheikh Salim Al
Amri.
If there are any brothers or sisters on
this platform on YouTube
or Facebook,
This is not the
Quran program. This is a weekly lesson that
we have,
study lesson going through some,
Islamic texts,
with our sheikh, sheikh Salim Al Amri. And
the program will start according to UK time
10:30
PM.
Of course, you are more than welcome. Please
benefit from these lessons.
My dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
the
3 fundamentals
by the imam, the Mujaddid,
Sheikh Mohammedir Abdul Wahab
The meaning
when they just say to you,
who's your
Who's your Lord?
Waqul Arab be Allah.
My Lord is Allah.
The one who created me is Allah.
The one who nourishes me is Allah.
The one who brought me into being is
Allah.
The one who created everything is Allah.
The one who feeds everyone
is Allah.
The one who controls this cosmos and this
universe is Allah.
That is my reference.
I know no lord other than him.
This is very important, my dear brothers and
sisters,
that we know our Lord.
We know him
through the science and the creation.
We know him through the revelation.
My lord, my rock is
Allah.
See this word
to take care of you when you are
so frail,
so weak.
K? So he is making for you,
developing you,
moving you
from one state to another state to another
state.
He takes care of
you. From the beginning,
the initial
stage,
your formation,
when you were just
drop of *,
when that sperm
vegetalize the egg, the oven
in the mother's womb
from that moment and before that,
he takes care of you,
And you grow and you develop, and he
is taking care of you.
He's making therapy.
He's nourishing you,
developing you,
protecting you.
And then the other man, he developed me.
He looked after me.
That's why
my dear brothers and sisters, this Surabrah,
Allah,
you need to love him by your entire
being.
Every single atom in your body should love
him
because
he loves you,
and he has provided everything for you.
Everything.
Lydia Rabaani,
he brought me up.
He nourished me up.
He nourished me.
He made me grow.
Rabani.
And he nourished and developed
and
brought up
all the creation,
Alameen,
all the different worlds,
The world of kingdom of animals and plants
and human beings. Everything.
He is the one
who
is developing them.
He is the one
who is bringing them up.
He is the one who takes
care of them
throughout the different
phases and stages.
He takes care
of that. He takes care of the
and they're very small.
Cups,
panels are there to take care of them.
And he put love in the hearts
of those animals,
Rahma,
for their chicks, for their youngs,
the birds' chicks in their nest.
The mother
will go out
to bring food for them,
to feed those pigs.
Who made that?
Who instructed that mother to go?
The creator.
So he robbed by Jani al Anani,
the kingdom of animals, the kingdom of the
plants.
When that little seed grain, you put it
in the earth.
Who brings out the plant out of it?
Who provides the nutrients and the soil for
it?
The creator.
He takes care of that.
You put it to seed, plant comes out.
Then Allah makes the farmer to take care
of it, to water it. Because
if he leaves it, it will die.
And because
the human being needs that plant,
so the human being will
allow us as a * that
to take care of this plant
till it
grows
then produces
the fruit
for you.
That's why you look around you, my dear
brothers and sisters,
and you see what is around you.
You'll find
around you
animals,
plants,
and
inanimate
objects
and
you, the human being.
So if we make a pyramid
and we
put these
components,
which we see around us,
and erase them ascendingly from the least complex
to the most complex,
you'll find that the inanimate comes first, inanimate,
like the soil,
then
the plant,
then the animals, then the human being.
And you'll find that each one is serving
the one above it.
The soil
serves the plant,
the plant serves the animal,
and the animal serves the human being.
And the human being is the master,
the top.
So who made all these three things for
you
or human being
to serve
you and under your control?
Not you, of course,
but the one who created you.
The one who created you, he made that.
So that's why you need to be grateful
to yourself.
And these three things, that's what they call
I refer to as nature.
Nature nothing more than that.
And these things are created for you,
and you are
the master,
and they are serving you.
So, they did not create you
because Allah has given you intelligence, and they
do not have intelligence.
So, that is why you need to
worship
and thank
the one who made all these things to
serve you,
and you have to serve him and you
have to be grateful to him.
All his creation.
He made everything for everyone.
For
everyone.
Wohom Abudi,
he is my deity,
the one I worship.
Whom do I worship? Allah.
My creator.
I don't worship anyone else
because anybody else is creator
is created,
and he's a creature.
So I have to create worship the creator.
Not to worship something created.
I have to be grateful
to one who created me and brought me
into being, and he provided everything for me.
I have no other deity to worship.
That's why
No one deserves to be worshiped but Allah.
All deities that are worshiped,
all objects that are worshiped,
they are false objects.
That's because Allah is the absolute truth.
And that which they call besides Allah is
false.
So there's no other deity should worship except
Allah.
With Dalil
that my Rab
is
Allah.
Alhamdulillahi
oob bil'Arani.
Alhamdulillah.
All praise,
all thanks,
all types of praise.
Who deserves that?
Allah,
the creator.
A hamt.
And that hamt
is more comprehensive,
more intensive
than shukar.
Shuka, normally,
an exchange of a favor.
Someone did you a favor, you thank him.
But,
it is
an exchange of favor and more than that.
Because the one
who did the favor for me,
the one who
bestowed his favors upon me,
the one who provides for me,
yes, deserve to be thanked. I thank him.
But, also, he deserves to be thanked and
to be
praised
because he deserves to be praised.
Deserved to be praised
because he is Allah
of.
He's the most kind. He's the most merciful.
He's the one
who created us. He's the one who
takes care of us.
He's the one who loves us more than
our mothers.
So we keep we have to keep thanking
him and praising him.
So
lillah.
All places
are exclusively and purely
for Allah has so much
The lord of Al Alameen,
all the creation,
all the worlds,
animals,
plants in animate,
angels,
jinn,
alameen.
He is subhanallah,
subhanallah medic.
When you see
the
the creation and what he created,
he You see everything.
You see the signs
signs about around you everywhere.
Everywhere. Only the blind, they don't see the
signs of of his existence.
Who is controlling these customers?
Everything is an order.
Everything is an order
from the subatomic
level,
subatomic
to the galaxies.
Everything is in order.
No mistake.
No collision.
Nothing collides with the other.
Everything.
There's a system.
Conciseness,
precision, accuracy.
The agents.
No one knows their number except Allah.
No
one. The prophet said on the night of
Al Qadr,
the number of the ages on earth as
many as the number of the stars.
Number of the stars.
Subhanallah.
When the prophet said to him, so you
believe, alayhis salaam,
In his angelic form,
when he spread one of his wings only
one of his wings,
that wing covered the horizon
covered the horizon.
This is
how the an angel looks like.
And the prophet
said, every day
around the Baytul Mamur
every day, around 70,000,
They go mixed around it.
And then when that come back, they were
replaced by another number.
When he described, he said Allah
he described for us the prophet,
one of the angels, the distance between
the ear lobe and the shoulder,
the distance that you can travel
for a number of years and 100 of
years.
Subhanallah.
This is Allah
If you look into the kingdom and the
world of the jinn, another world
Another
world. And Allah was there.
And when they came,
the jinn who became Muslims, the delegation of
when they came to the prophet
and he talked to them in Islam and
they spent he spent one night with them,
and they asked him for food.
They asked, we need food.
He said
the bones
of the meat
of the Muslims,
the bones they throw,
that will be your food. You'll find them
full of meat, full of fish.
That's why you cannot use the bones
to clean yourself with it
if you are leaving yourself in the open.
And the droppings of our animals food for
their animals.
Provides for everything.
He takes care of the Raikah takes care
of the jinn,
the human beings, the animals, the plants,
everything.
Everything. Anything
other than Allah is
Adam,
created.
And they are one
of that creation.
Then the oath of
is moving.
See
how the sheikh
is teaching us
bit by bit
to make sure that you digest this piece
of information
and you understand it.
You internalize it.
This is what you should do, my dear
brothers and sisters.
Teach what you are learning
to your family,
to your children.
I mean, the children now.
Let them go abnormalizing
this,
having all this in their hearts,
knowing who is their creator,
who is their love loving Allah.
Instead, the love of Allah
in the hearts of your children.
So I need to say to you,
If you when you are questioned,
how did you know?
How did you recognize your
We might have stopped.
See, my dear brothers and sister, our Islam
is not a blind faith. No. It's not
blind faith.
It's not take it on faith.
Take it on faith.
One of our brothers, American, he has PhD
in logic and philosophy.
He became a Muslim.
Maybe this is now almost now.
30 more than 30 years. Something almost around
30 years.
I I met him personally.
And
also in one of his talk also he
mentioned.
He said,
I study logic.
But when
I go
to the place of worship,
what I hear inside has nothing to do
with logic,
completely against logic,
completely against the rationale.
So
if I post any question, they say, leave
the intellect outside
at the doorstep.
Step of the door, the doormat,
leave your intelligence and intellect there. And here,
you just take it on faith.
No. In Islam, it's not like that.
In Islam, both, they go together.
The faith,
the knowledge,
they go together.
And they're not a fact.
Allah
says No. First of all, no.
Know that there is no god but Allah.
You have to know.
So our faith is built on concrete
knowledge
without any trace of doubt.
No doubt at all
At all.
Also, Allah said,
the true believers
are those who believe and they doubt not.
No doubt. They doubt not.
No trace of doubt.
So our faith,
our iman
is built on
certainty
because it's based
on the divine knowledge.
Revelation.
And that revelation
was proven to us
that it is from Allah.
It is the speech of Allah,
which is the book of Allah the Quran.
That result,
the proof
that
our prophet
showed us.
So this book
has no doubt.
So our faith is based on something
concrete knowledge.
Certain.
No doubt.
No doubt.
Had it been from other than Allah
Had it been from other than Allah, they
would have found in it
a lot of or much of discrepancy.
The Quran, as a matter of fact,
tells us go.
Challenges.
It challenges the reader. Go and find any
mistake.
If you have doubts, go.
Love?
But his signs are his creations.
Remember, there are 2 books.
We read in 2 books. We, Muslims, read
in 2 books, the
Quran and the creation.
There are 2 books
open for us to read,
the Quran
and the universe.
And both books,
they match each other.
No contradiction
between creation and the Quran. No. At all.
You'll never find.
You will never find
a challenge.
You will never find
because it is the creation of the creator,
and that is the action of the creator
and the Quran, the speech of the creator.
So both from the creator,
there will not be any contradiction.
Oh, these
theories
in science,
you will never find them
when they become an established fact
contradict with the book of Allah. It's a
fact.
If it is a fact,
if it is
scientific reality,
there will not be any contradiction.
But if it is just a still
hypothesis,
something hypothetical,
leave it aside.
But once
something
concrete,
proven,
experimentally,
you will never fight.
Never.
So when you are reading
the universe,
you will your iman will increase
because you are seeing the
the proofs.
You read the Quran,
and you look at the universe,
and you see the harmony.
You see the harmony.
And they look.
The Quran tells us, look.
The Quran
tells us, look. They ponder
and reflect
upon the creation of the heavens and the
earth.
Oh, lord.
You did not create this
for nothing.
In vain.
Subhanallah. Glory be to you.
Glory be to you.
You're the all wise. You will never create
this
creation for nothing. No.
Glory be to you. Subhanak.
You're far away from any imperfection
or any unwise
decision
or action.
SubhanAllah.
Oh, Allah.
Save us.
Save us from the fire.
Save us.
So the signs
You read the Quran.
Look unto yourself. You will see
the proof.
Don't they look at the camels
and question themselves
and ponder upon the creation of the camel,
the camel amazing animal.
And it is
a proof
for the greatness
of the one who created it.
And look to the sky. How?
So
these are signs.
Look
about this kind of
amazing.
Amazing.
You see,
if you go
to the sand dunes
and you try to climb the sand dune,
your feet will sink.
You would sink.
They will go inside.
Who's heavier?
You or the camel?
Of course, the camel.
So why doesn't the camel sink?
Why doesn't his the camel sink?
Allah
created
the camel and made the
the hoof
and the feet of the camel
designed in amazing way.
They glide on the sand. They glide
like skating.
That's why they call it the ship of
the desert.
And it is loaded
with heavy load, and
it
is
gliding.
Gliding.
Living in the desert for days days without
with water. Because there is a reservoir inside.
Reservoir for
water because there is a reservoir inside reservoir
full of water.
So if you are in the desert and
you're right out of water and you found
the camel swelch in it,
and you'll find a lot of water inside
you can drink.
And when that water out of that water,
the canner start to convert the fat into
water
into water.
When the wind blows,
there are different layers
to protect the eye of the camera, the
shut ups, the sun closing.
When it eats on the thorns,
Allah did made and designed
and created the and
the lips in a certain way
that it will not be heard.
So
everything, you look around you, you see the
greatness of Allah.
So
So I need to say to you, how
did you come to know your lord?
They say by
the way of his sign and his creation.
What means
from among his signs,
The night and the day.
The night and the day. And see the
alternation
of the night and the day, and no
one catches the other.
Neither the night catches the day nor the
day catches the night.
1 is moving after this.
This part of the earth, night, it is
here day.
Day, night, day, night. Who is automating
that?
Who's doing that?
Okay.
Allah made the night
time for us to take rest
and the day
for our activities to gain our livelihood.
About his size, the sun and the moon,
and how everything is moving and all the
earth around the sun, the sun is moving,
Moon around the earth, everything
is moving in its orbit
according
with the uniform speed.
From among his creation, the 7 firmaments,
the 7 heavens,
and the 7 Earths
The 7 Earths.
Different
layers.
And whoever
oh, these
things that Allah created
as well as who whoever and whatever lies
in them and between them
See the sky
and the earth.
Is there void?
No.
It's not void or something in between.
And they are now saying there is something
called dark matter, etcetera.
So nothing. It's not it's not no void.
And whatever is in between.
What might be him?
K?
If there are other creatures
on other planets
We have no issue with
that because Allah didn't say that you are
the only ones.
So
have to do
now.
We
have
no
problem.
And whoever is done in this racist.
And what who whatever is in between,
and see see the precision.
Normally,
for the
the creature that has intelligence.
And
it can be used for both.
Can be used
for both.
Then the oath
started mentioning the proofs.
This is the beauty about the Sheikh.
He make the he makes the statement, then
he gives you the
evidence that supports it
from the Kitab and the Sunnah.
This is the works of Sheikh Mohammed.
May Allah reward this imam immensely
and elevates his status in.
And may Allah bless his progeny
and him.
So whose works? Allah said, the prophet said.
Allah said, the prophet said. That's it.
And from among his signs are the night
and the day,
and the sun and the moon, do not
prostrate yourself to the sun or to the
moon, but rather prostrate yourselves to Allah
who created them.
If it is he whom you truly worship,
Surat Fusilat Aya
37.
So Allah is telling
you. From among his signs,
day,
night, and the day.
This is a sign.
Imagine
night remains night, day remains day.
And that's part.
What will happen?
What will happen to the plants if there
is no
no light?
What will happen to it?
You studied in the school,
the photosynthesis.
That process needs light.
No light. What will happen to the plant?
What will happen?
So that's why
Day, night. Day, night. Day, night.
So who alters the day and the night
and made them in succession.
K? In succession.
This follows the other. This follows the other.
I mean, I had this in lay.
The one made a lay in the second.
Time for rest.
For
us. To go and seek and look for
our livelihood.
I mean,
The
sun
positioned
in such a place.
If it gets closer to us, we will
evaporate out of heat.
If it moves far away, little will be
frozen.
Who situated
it in that exact position?
The one, Al Alim, Al Hakim, the all
Noah, the all white.
Oh, come up, the moon.
With and the connection
with our Earth,
with the
tidal waves,
and the movement of the waves
connected with the moon.
The calculation
of the days
and the nights.
The day by the sun, the night by
the moon.
So
these
are
aiat
proofs
Without these things, we'll not know the timing,
the times.
Don't you know
that the clock
we are using,
it's
tuned tuned
to these celestial bodies,
tuned with that,
synchronized
with that
because they are so precise.
People, they traveled in the past using this
as science. They navigate the oceans
following these signs,
seeing the positions of the star. They know
their place.
Even today with this sophisticated
technology,
we have to study all these things.
If all these systems failed
and you know now.
Technology
can't freeze everything.
Oh, your systems will become dead.
And if you are in the middle of
nowhere,
you are in the middle of the ocean.
How you navigate your your way?
But these signs,
if you know them,
you'll find.
People, they travel in the desert.
That's following the stars.
No maps.
And even,
you know,
the European travelers who cross Arabia,
many of them,
they couldn't dare
to enter the desert,
Arabia,
without taking the Arabs with them,
the Bedouin.
K?
To show them the way.
Because the Bedouin,
he grew up in the desert.
He knows the man. No man. Yes. He's
elected. He doesn't read and write,
but he knows it.
He says, we are in this place. We
are that place.
You're not for straight neither to the sun
nor to the
moon. What the sun can do for you?
Nothing.
If you refuse to worship the sun,
will the sun say, I will not shine?
No.
Will the sun decide not to come up
one day? No.
So what do you worship the sun?
The sun is commanded
to rise and fall, to rise
and set
everything.
So who made it
to rise at this time and to set
at this time?
That is the one you should
worship, not the sun itself.
The sun is created like you.
And Allah created it for your own benefit.
To confuse the light, to confuse the warmth
to the the
the time, the number of the days, and
the years.
I remember when I was a small kid,
the old people,
and tomorrow, for example, Ramadan,
and the old messagids old messiads.
On top of the roof of the messiads,
they are marks.
They track the moon
throughout the year.
And you know the different stations of the
moon, and they know where the moon is
going to appear.
So when they break the mark, they know
exactly
where to look.
They will look.
Oh,
there it is, the crescent.
No.
It's not the Ramadan.
Hey. No.
Today, with the telescopes
and with all these sophisticated
calculations,
and still they make mistakes.
They make mistakes.
The
do not per say it for the sun,
but for the one who created it.
Neither to the sun nor to the moon.
Was you do, Lillah?
Brother,
prostrate
for Allah.
The one who created
all these things.
He's the one who deserves to worship.
If
it is he whom you truly
worship.
Another evidence
Allah says,
insurah alaaf,
ayah 54,
Verily your load is Allah.
Who's your love? Allah.
Who created the heavens and the earth in
6 days?
And then
his tower
on the throne
rose above the throne.
He brings the night as a cover over
the day, which it follows rapidly,
and he made the sun, the moon, and
the stars
subjected to his command.
Surely to him belongs the creation and the
command.
Blessed is Allah,
Lord
of the worlds.
In Arabic,
Allah. Most certainly,
verily, your love is Allah
who created
the heavens and the earth
in 6 days.
He could have created
the heavens and the earth in no time.
We
and everything will be there,
But he is teaching us,
the human beings,
that we should not be hasty.
And
there are things you will take its time.
So no rush.
He's telling us I am the creator. I
created the heavens and the earth in 6
days.
I could just create them like that,
but he is teaching us
in 6 days.
The Bible says, and he took a rest
in the 7th day.
Say, God got exhausted,
fatigued,
tired.
So the 7th day, he took the rest.
That's why it is the 7th.
That's what they are saying.
From such
imperfect
attribute.
Allah said
We did not get tired
or fatigued.
Then he is I
prefer to use the word
which
means he
goes above the throne.
That's the meaning of it.
So Allah is above the throne.
And Allah is not in need of the
throne, neither the throne nor the
nothing of his creation.
All his creation is dependent upon him and
the need of him.
But this,
he created, these things to show his
majesty,
his glory, his greatness.
Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
His kudsi was our kudsiu
The kursi
encompassed
the heavens and the earth.
And the kursi
in comparison to
the ash is like a ring in the
desert.
Take a ring, throw it in the desert,
and see what is the size of the
ring
in contrast and in comparison to the size
of the desert is nothing.
So the,
if you compare it to the
to the house, is nothing.
Nothing.
The Karim and the desert.
And Allah
is above the throne.
Allah is separated from his creation.
Allah is outside his creation.
He's not in any of his creation.
And that's the meaning
of Allah is in heaven, Allah
in the actual your kindness.
Not that he's in one of the 7
firmaments.
Allah is outside his creation.
So when Allah
created the creation,
there was no creation.
Nothing.
As the Muslim said, Allah was and there
was nothing.
Then Allah created the creation.
So you have creator and creation.
So where did he create this creation?
There are 3
possibilities.
The creation
the creation inside the creator.
Creation inside the creator.
2nd,
the creator
inside the creation.
3rd, the creator
outside the creation.
Let us study the 3.
Is the creation
inside the creator?
Because this means that we are inside God
now,
inside him.
And the creation, all this
dirt and rubbish stuff from
is
inside
God.
So this is a rule out. No.
The creation, not inside the creator,
ruled out. Throw it away.
If the second one.
The creator inside the creation
is God in us.
God inside the creation,
and the creation
encompasses him and the opposite?
No.
That's not true.
So this is ruled out.
Allah never
in dwells in any of his creation.
Neither he in dwells in his creation
nor his creation
in dwells in him.
That's why
if you say God, the creator inside the
creation, this is known as,
the unity of being
or pantheism,
that everything is god.
Everything.
Anything.
Anything. The table is god because it's part
of the creation.
The computer will be god if it's part
of the creation.
Any part of the creation is God because
God is inside the creation.
So according to the belief of the pantheists,
those who believe in Wahid al Dinwujud,
anything in the creation can be worshiped
because God is in everything.
I want to
have. And they attribute
such
believe.
For example, they say
because this is one of their arguments.
Where is god? They say, you see the
light in the room?
Light is everywhere, so God like that.
Do you see the butter the milk in
the butter?
The butter?
The fat in the in the milk?
It is in everywhere, so God like that.
And they it said that said that in
one of his debate, which is not true.
Is saying Allah is outside his creation.
And anyone says that Allah is not above
the throne. He's a.
So
these are the arguments of the, the, the.
They're using the light as an example of
the the fact of the milk.
No.
Allah is outside.
But the,
those who have the believer
like the
He believes in baptism.
He's saying
in his books whether
The
servant is the lord, and the lord is
the servant.
I'm confused.
Who's who?
Is he a servant or is he a
lord? But he is at the same time
go out.
And the lord is a servant, and the
servant is
no.
So who is
should obey the other? You're a little too
shabby. I wish to under to know. Who
should obey the other?
If I say the servant should obey the
Lord, but at the same time,
Lord.
The servant.
That
is Lord at the same time.
When
he is the Lord,
how the lord should obey the obey the
slave, the servant?
Because he believes everything is gone.
That is what is mentioning in the books.
We are talking what is mentioned in the
books.
Whether he repented,
whether this thing attributed
to him
by someone,
but the manuscript
show that it is his writing.
And this is what he said.
He repented. That is between him and Allah.
But this
is mentioned in his books.
The dog
and the pig
is our god.
That's what they're saying. That's what they said
in the books.
Allah is the
is the priest in the monastery
because according
to the the
pantheistic
belief that everything is gone. So the priest
is part of the creation, so he's gone.
The dog is part of the creation. The
pig is part of the creation.
This is kufr,
totally kufr,
disbelief.
So Allah never indwells
in his creation
nor any of his creation indwells in him.
So he's outside his creation. That's the third
probability.
Allah is outside his creation.
That's the meaning
of
Allah
etcetera.
So when
they say,
Allah
this is what they mean.
And you will hear the.
They say those,
they call themselves,
and they call the
the the the the true
the son of it.
They limit Allah, and they confine Allah.
They
are the ones.
Actually, if you ask them
and when you hear
what they are, the way they talk about
Allah,
they say Allah is neither
inside the world nor outside the world.
So where is he?
Where is he?
If he's not inside the creation, not outside
the creation. Where is Allah?
You don't know your love? As the said,
they lost their love. They don't know their
love.
Their statement means there's no Allah.
There's no Allah. There's no God. This is
what they're saying.
Allah neither inside
his creation or outside his creation. So where
is he?
Where's Allah?
As I mentioned in his
The throne encompasses
the heavens and the
And Allah is above the throne and the.
None
of the inner thoughts
of human beings are hidden from him.
Then he said,
He's refuting
the
Yamayads, the Matasharites,
the Ashaites.
Do
not
say this about Allah.
This is Adam. You annihilate Allah.
You are not
saying Allah existing.
You deny his existence.
This is Adam. This is non existent.
So do not describe
Allah by giving him
the attribute an attribute of nonexistence.
This is Adam.
Is neither
in us nor outside the creation.
This is Adam. Nothingness.
None existence.
So you are saying the law does not
exist.
Because of your ignorance,
you are you are thinking and you think
that you you are attributing to imperfection
by denying that he's above his throne.
Because of your ignorance,
compound ignorance.
And then you can find
him somewhere else.
So
and soon on that same, they know our
we know our creator.
He's outside his creation.
He's about everything.
You
see? See, Russia means to cover.
See the beauty?
He makes the night
to veil the day. Vail it. You see,
in Arabic, they say, the woman, this is
the the veil. They call it or.
Okay? So the night is
veiling the day, covering it.
And this day is moving. The light is
going, and this night the night is taking
over.
He brings the night as a cover
over the day,
like this veil,
which it follows rapidly.
Day is
leaving.
Night is following it.
Following it.
And you can see it with your days
now. Go to the net
and see when the day breaks
on the whole world. And you see the
night
is leaving and the night light is following.
He brings the night as a cover over
the day, which he followed it rapidly, and
he made the sun, the moon, and the
star
subjected to his
command. Under his sway, under his control,
subject to his command.
That's why in the day of resurrection,
command will be issued to all these celestial
body
and everything
will perish.
The sky was split asunder.
The stars will die.
The sun,
that life
will be put out.
Everything will be different.
Surely to him belongs the creation and the
command.
Blessed is Allah.
Blessed is Allah.
Lord of the worlds.
This is our love, my dear brothers and
sisters.
May Allah increase our knowledge about him.
May Allah strengthen our imam
and fill our hearts with the Yadeen
and fill our hearts with the fear of
him
and fill our hearts
with the piety and righteousness.
May Allah
accept our deeds and your deeds.
May Allah keep us to remain steadfast
on this beautiful deen, al Islam,
till we meet him,
and he is pleased with all of us
Amin.
And may Allah
forgive us
our faults and mistakes and ignorance.
May Allah
reward all of you,
my dear brothers and sisters,
immensely
for your patience and attendance.
Inshallah, we'll go into the question and answers
now.
Just before doing so.
Sheikh, can you hear me? Yes. Yes. I
can hear you, guys.
Okay.
Just before doing so, Insha'Allah, I'd like to
inform all the brothers and sisters who may
be watching on the other platforms of Facebook
and wondering what is happening. This is not
the khatam Quran which will be happening at
10:30 pm according to UK time. This is
a weekly lesson of ours with our honorable
Sheikh Sheikh Solomon Amri.
More than welcome to join, benefit.
It is taking place every
Monday and every Friday, UK time, 6 PM,
starting.
Insha Allah, we'll take the question and answers
now.
Just before doing that,
let me see.
We have Salman Sadqib already with the hands
raised.
We will,
take the question from brother Salman Sarkib
first and foremost. Brothers and sisters, please send
in your questions, and we can address them
inshallah. You can post it on the chat
section here on Zoom, or you
can raise your hands to ask a verbal
question.
Press on participants.
Press on
raise hand.
Brother Sadman,
please go ahead.
For
the lecture, especially about the.
I have a, topic that, many brothers who
are learning also that Deen also, participated in
debate sessions with,
many atheist who, just, exited Islam or something
like that. They have a lot of confusion
about Islam.
And,
it's something like they are not doing dua.
They are refuting their beliefs and having, you
know, a rough talk, you know, like,
they are just having,
I think fight with each other as the
name of debate.
And
and it has many effects, you know, not
like the Dawa one, like,
have an enmity between them.
So,
many brothers are also advising, each other to
learn from the debate or benefiting from the
debate.
So what should be, the advice regarding debates?
You see, my dear brothers and sisters,
Dawah
is an art,
and Dawah is very important
in our deen.
Dawah in Islam comes before anything
because Islam came to for the sake of
guiding the people.
So invite
and call the people to this deed, to
this light
with Hikma,
with wisdom,
knowledge,
understanding.
The Hikma
necessitates
knowing the invitee, the one you are invite.
Knowing him, knowing his background,
knowing his qualifications,
knowing his mindset,
knowing his psyche
before you talk to him
so you know
where to start with.
Then you choose the proper method. What method
is suitable for this particular person?
You see the,
he sent
most of the.
That's why
all the brothers on the field of the
Dawah should study
the seal of Musaab
and learn from Musaab of the law.
One individual, he sent it to Medina
for the Dawah.
After 1 year,
Musaab came back
submitting annual report.
They say there's no single household in Medina
without a Muslim member inside.
One individual.
One individual
managed by the grace of Allah
to convey the message.
So no single household,
no single
house in Medina,
except there is at least 1 Muslim inside,
reverted to Islam. Islam.
So the day
in Islam
has
kind heart,
heart full of rahma
for the invitee.
So
my aim
when I
talk to this invitee,
not to expose him,
not to show
his ignorance
and make the audience to laugh at him.
That should not be.
My aim is to guide him,
asking Allah to make me a cause to
guide him.
My aim is
while I'm talking, I'm praying to Allah that
my words should touch his heart.
But now it is what we see
in the debate is totally different.
Totally different.
Second thing,
the debates,
as we see,
Sometimes
those brothers, they are not qualified
Islamically.
Maybe they know this
to be honest, maybe they know the Bible
more than the Quran.
So my advice for those brothers,
wait.
Learn your deen first.
Learn your deen because
the missionaries and those whom
you debate with, they chain they keep changing
their,
tech,
tactics and their techniques,
and they want to see what is the
weak link that what is your weakness, and
they will attack
you.
So learn your Islam,
first of all,
before
anything else.
Dawah,
it is better that those who
our,
Muslim brothers who left Islam,
may Allah guide them,
is to talk to them
1 to 1
in privacy,
close circles.
That, in my opinion, would be more fruitful
more fruitful.
Also, my advice that for the normal Muslims
not to attend the debate.
Don't go to the debate.
Oh,
brother so and so, he is going to
debate
with this,
Goliath.
Of the
the atheist.
What you are going to hear in such
debates,
only doubt, Shubha. So don't go.
Don't go. So that's why we need
this
this trend of debating to come down.
We need to focus on the
our Islam,
teach the the the Muslims al Islam,
teach the people the proper Islam,
and if
there is a necessity for a debate
in close circles with those,
leaders of those, atheists, of those agnostics,
Now that you invite the Muslims and your
are the Muslim, and you bring this,
deviant guy,
the atheist,
to address the Muslim
and to fill their hearts with doubts.
And sometimes,
either because the time was not enough
of rebuttal,
or sometimes
the Muslim who's debating
was not prepared well. He's not that qualified.
He could not refute
the points that were raised
by his opponent.
All these doubts, they went into the minds
of the Muslim,
and they were left home with their minds
full of doubts, Shubhat.
So this has to stop.
If you hear about the debate, don't go,
and don't let anyone
whom you love and talk and listen to
you to go
because you are not going to benefit.
You're going to hear Shubhahat
only.
This is my advice. Is it clear to
you?
Yes. Yes, sir. It's clear.
Oh, yeah.
Inshallah, we'll go to the next question.
To you and your family and everyone.
My question is, I go to work, so
when I come home, time
time will be limited.
How best to make the most of my
day whilst at work, making it Ibadah for
me? I'm a math teacher, but, also, what
Ibadah
should take priority once
I return home before Iftar, which
following your advice,
I'll be keeping a very simple no fuss
affair.
It's just me to feed, making it easier.
May Allah bless your time.
And listen to me, my dear brother or
sister.
You're a math teacher.
I love math.
Math
is
the
theoretical
part of physics. It's physics, but it is
the theoretical part of it.
Because if some part of the math is
abstract, some is applied math as the questioner
notes.
This beautiful language, the math, doesn't know lives
because they don't lie.
So when you are teaching,
you
can see.
For example, take the pie. Okay? This everything
that they creation.
Precise.
The pie.
So
you're teaching the children,
seeking by that a large reward.
So you do it
with devotion,
sincerity,
commitment
while you are
explaining the trigonometric
functions,
Malaika writing has an art for you.
Yes.
Because you're near,
you are doing it for the sake of
Allah.
So my dear brothers and sisters,
the scope of Ibadah in Islam,
it governs
and covers all aspect of life.
So this number of hours you spent in
school,
you can't convert it into.
If my intention,
created haphazardly.
Everything is precise.
Everything is in order,
and you do it sincerely
with devotion and dedication.
And you make sure that the pupils, they
laugh the subject and they understand it.
Allah was reward you according to your intention.
And the 8 hours you spent at the
schools and your record
hasanat.
The number of hours you sleep
hasanat.
But Allah are sleeping to gain strength to
worship you. Hasanat.
You go home
as
said, the iftar
is not a fuss. Anything.
So that time, may Allah be to Barak
on it.
And you
do what you feel.
Now you feel,
I
want to read Quran. Read Quran.
If you need you feel energetic.
Well, now my heart wants to pay,
and it's time for
salah,
nothing. K.
Now
I feel tired. I cannot pay.
Use the time
for dikr so fast,
and always keep your tongue busy
with the dikr.
Always.
You are cooking. You are making dikr. You
are reading the Quran, or you are listening
to the Quran or you are listening to
to a lecture or the talk. That's how
you make your day
247.
Amen.
May Allah
bless our time,
and may Allah give us the
to turn the 24
hours into acts of worship, Ami. Is this
clear to the questioner?
I mean, Sheikhona, yes. That is clear. Hopefully,
that is very clear.
We go to the next question, Sheikh. The
next question
is if someone cannot fast
Ramadan
due to health reasons,
can he be feeding the same poor individual
every day for the whole Ramadan,
or he has to feed 29
or 30 different individuals?
No. It can't be the same person
if he's you know, this person is,
so every day, you, you provide a meal
for him throughout the month. That's okay. Fine.
Okay. We move to the next question. The
next question is,
in yesterday's class, your answer about the husband
going to pray at the masjid wasn't clear
to me. Kindly explain to me, Sheikh. Are
you saying after praying the Fard Isha prayer
at the masjid, the husband can go back
home to lead his family for the Tarawee
prayers, or he should pray with the congregation
at the masjid?
Which one is better?
No. To pray with the imam, the Tawawih.
Because the one who plays the Tawawih with
the imam,
it will be written for him as he
prayed the whole night.
So this is something he should not miss.
And if he can take you with him,
that's well and fine if there is,
a place for the sisters.
But, unfortunately,
some assignments,
they don't have the facility for the sisters.
Or maybe you have children, you cannot go.
So that's why I said,
either
you pray the
with your,
daughters
or if you have,
any of your children, the boys
who knows the Quran
can lead you,
or you read
and and maybe you can also read from
the Musa. Or if he wants, when he
comes back
to pray
for him, that would be nothing,
That's okay. And I think I made a
mistake yesterday
by mentioning
the wrong name. I said,
It was Muad.
Muad.
He was used to pray the with the
with the
and then he would go and lead his
people.
Isha. He'd pray Isha again.
But, of course, the prayer
that he prayed with the prophet, that is
the for him,
and the prayers that now he which he's,
leading his people is nothing for him. It's
nothing.
So if he
wants to,
pray nafil and he leads you, that's okay.
Fine,
Is this clear to the questioner?
That is clear, Shek.
The next question is, is it true that
in Sharia,
a child's surname is his lineage
name while his middle name is his father's
name?
The sharia
is that
my name, my father name, my grandfather name,
my my my, etcetera.
That's how the
the, the the syntax
of, of the name. And this is the
format.
Your name, then your father name, then the
father of your father, then the father of
your grandfather, etcetera.
That is the format.
Is this clear?
It's clear
Next question.
Could there be any wrong on anyone who
does not study aqidah as it is systematically
organized by scholars, but he just read the
Quran and Hadith and interpreted it
on his own understanding without those Aqidah books
or any prominent scholar.
No. He will go straight.
He will go astray.
Why?
The Quran
is in Arabic.
If he doesn't know Arabic, I will understand
the
Quran? Number 1.
Number 2,
there are verses in the Quran obligated.
How he's going to know that?
Number 3,
there is makam and mujmal.
Makam and muteshab.
Muklaq and mukayed.
Am and kas. Someone is going to know.
I was going to know
what will be with me
and
enter the homes the houses through their doors.
If you don't know the
the reason behind the revelation,
how are you going to know it?
How are you going to know?
Do not force your
girls to commit adultery if you don't know
the the revelation behind it, etcetera.
How you're going to know the hadith of
the prophet
when that you don't have the key? You
don't know Arabic.
How are you going to know?
How are you going to know that this
hadith is obligated or not?
How are you going to know that this
hadith authentic or not?
So my dear brothers and sisters,
if you want to know your Islam,
there is
sequence.
There are prerequisites.
No Arabic.
You don't know Arabic?
Study Arabic.
Because
what you read, translation.
Translation of the Quran is not the Quran.
It's not the Quran. Keep this in mind.
When We are reading translation, not reading the
Quran. You have to understand this.
Because the Quran Quran is in Arabic,
not in English or French or Arabic or
Korean. You are reading translation.
And this translation
is relative
depending
upon the
the understanding
of the translator of the Arabic language, if
he has a strong command or not.
So what we are reading, translation.
When we are reading the Hadith, we are
reading translations.
You want to read the Hadith of the
prophet
Read it in Arabic and learn it.
You want to read the Quran?
Read it in Arabic. That's the Quran.
The Quran is
not all praise is due to Allah.
That's not the Quran. All praise is due
to God. No. That's not the Quran.
So learn Arabic,
learn the belief, the Aqidah,
and learn how the Muslim scholars
because
the prophet
he taught the Sahaba.
Sahaba of this college,
students of the.
Those students
taught their students,
2nd generation.
Those generation,
the next generation,
and how that's how long you reach us.
So the scholars
But now there is a trend. Wake up
brothers and sister. Now there is a conspiracy.
There's a plot. There's a plan.
How to mislead the shabaab? How to mislead
the Muslim Ummah
is to tell them you don't need the
scholars.
You don't need the scholars. And they want
to cut the ties between you and the
scholars.
So that
you will go astray.
The
prophets are
the inheritors
of the prophets.
So they don't want you to listen to
the inheritors of the prophets.
They want you to listen some someone who's
fool,
someone who's ignorant,
who doesn't know anything.
And when you hear,
believe me, my an old man
and my blood pressure shoots quickly. When I
hear
what's going on,
I disconnect
ignorance,
compound with ignorance.
So
if you want to worship Allah, listen to
what Allah said.
Ask
the people of dhikr,
the people of the understanding.
And those who know, like those who do
not know, that's what Allah is saying.
Allah
is
saying.
Those who fear Allah must as the learned
men, not the fools, not the ignorant.
This what Allah's sake.
So
study your deed
with the scholars.
Follow the system.
Go systematic.
Priority wise,
if you learn the Arabic, not the alphabet,
not the words.
Once now you started understanding the
Arabic, start learning the Quran,
reading the book of Allah,
read the books of the,
reading the
the fundamentals,
the basics of Islam,
understand
the the pillars of Islam, the pillars of
iman,
things
you build your knowledge block by
block in a systematic way.
This is my advice and just from the
bottom of my heart to all my brothers
and sisters.
Otherwise,
you will be in state
of confusion
and in a mess
If you don't follow
the way the Muslims
learn the deed,
the out
14
sanctions,
1,014100
and and,
1,400
years.
Muslims,
that is how
they learn their Islam.
Guide us. May Allah keep us to remain
steadfast
on the right path, I mean. Is this
clear to the questioner?
Inshallah, that is clear, Sheikh, for the questioner.
The next question is saying it is for
the organizers, and they're asking my sister lives
in Ireland, so I wanted to know when
Ramadan
is beginning
since you are in the UK.
As for UK,
it has been announced by majority of the,
key Masajid there that Ramadan will begin from
tomorrow and Tarawis to us from tonight.
And,
this is aligned with the,
announcements of,
United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and many other
countries.
We move to the next question.
As our accountant
recommended
us to take home loan,
which is reba based as to avoid giving
heavy tax amount to government,
which is non Muslim,
Should we go ahead with such kind of
advice,
though we are not in need of such
loan?
What he tells us that instead of giving
money to government, give to bank and get
home after 10 years.
So this one is Sheikh Islam?
The accountant is Sheikh Islam. Right? The Mufti.
Right?
I want to know. So here's the Mufti.
So they are seeking his help.
And Allah is saying ask their content. Right?
I don't know.
Allah says.
That's the people of knowledge, not the accountant.
The accountant, he wants you to go to
Jahannam.
He's telling you go and take Riba
and deal with riba.
That's what the content is telling you.
And Allah is saying,
those who deal with riba,
if they do not quit,
get themselves ready
for war with Allah.
That's that will be.
Are you ready to to have the war
with Allah?
Allah will wage the war against you
if
you start taking.
So my advice for the questioner,
fear Allah,
and do not listen to
anyone.
Ask the people
who are the
people of knowledge,
the scholars.
You should ask the question what Allah says,
what the prophet said, not what the accountant
said.
The accountant, he does not care.
He's telling you, oh,
take loan from the bank,
mortgage,
rebar,
and you might die before,
having the house,
and you are in war with Allah and
Allah is cursing you, that was the account
account that is advising you.
So my dear brothers and sisters,
take your deen seriously.
Don't treat your deen lightly.
It's a matter of jannah and naar.
* apologize.
It's not a joke.
Halal and haram.
A house to have your own house
is not
a must.
You can't rent or live.
So what?
But to go and say it is a
necessity
to take river
and to
bring upon myself Allah's curse.
It's not a necessity.
May Allah guide the questioner
and guide all of us
and fill our hearts with the taqwa and
the fear of Allah.
Is this clear to the questioner?
Sure. It is clear, Sheikh.
We go to the next question.
Sheikh. Can my 9 year old son lead
me in prayers? I want to
help him with memorization.
Absolutely.
You can.
And one of the Sahaba was at around
that 8 was leading the the Sahaba.
No problem.
Next.
That was our final question for tonight, Sheikh.
And, we ask Allah
to bless you, preserve you,
and to accept our
fasting and our prayers inshallah in Ramadan.
If you'd like to conclude the session, Sheikh.
May
Allah accept
our deeds and your deeds, and may Allah
bless your month, and,
Allah
accept your thoughts and set your diyam
and with the barak and your time.
And,
my advice for you, my dear brothers and
sisters, don't make Ramadan a month of eating.
Don't become,
extravagant, Ramadan, and waste
your expenses should drop drastically, Ramadan.
And the brothers feel pity for the sisters.
Don't make them enter the kitchen from the
whole time
or maybe before that,
and they remain in the kitchen until midnight
washing the
dishes.
Please please, my dear brothers and sisters, Safia,
Allah,
make this Ramadan different.
Islamic Ramadan.
Islamic Ramadan.
Ramadan
for worship,
for
rebada,
not for
having
time all the cuisines,
all the dishes,
long table.
And the moment a darn goes start,
start dumping jumping over all side of the
dishes.
Something light.
Soup,
date,
milk,
meal after talawi,
something,
and you will enjoy the.
You'll enjoy it,
and you will feel your spirituality
is
May
Allah accept our deen
from us, our ibadah from us, and may
Allah
give us
the the beneficial knowledge.
And,
sometime maybe you,
I sound
tough on you guys, my dear brothers and
sisters, but this is out of love.
I call it spade a spade. When you
see something wrong,
I cannot tolerate it. So please don't misunderstand
me. May Allah
bless you, protect you, and keep us remain
steadfast
on this beautiful deen, and
he is pleased with all of us.
Looking forward
to seeing you
in the coming
session.
Tell them I leave you in Allah's
company and Allah's protection.
