When you're ready,
Brothers and sisters, Assalamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi
wabarakatuh,
and welcome to our 28th
lesson
covering the text of Usul Ath Thalaathah,
the 3 fundamental principles we were with our
honorable sheikh,
Sheikh Salem Al Amri.
As you are aware, brothers and sisters, second
hour is,
usually reserved for question and answers.
Please have your questions ready and send them
in fast. You can send it on the
chats, and also you can ask verbally at
the question time. This is specifically for those
who are with us on Zoom.
As for anyone on Facebook or, YouTube, more
than welcome to join us. However,
we take only the questions
and respond to them on
our,
platform,
Zoom.
My dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
today is the
Surah Al Tarrata, the state fundamentals.
And today we'll be talking about the Sabr,
the oath of Rahim Allah ta'ala.
He mentioned
that first of all, we need to understand
our deen
by the proofs.
I hope that you recall,
and I hope that you revise.
So first of all, you know your deed
with the proofs and evidence.
Then you act upon that,
the.
So
knowledge,
then
practicing
implementation
of that knowledge,
then
the patience,
the,
dower calling the people to this deal.
And the 4th rank
is the Sabbath
because
this
logical
order,
knowledge,
practicing the knowledge,
applying it,
then invite the people
to this
dean.
Naturally,
you are going to face obstacles,
so you need to be patient.
So that's
level number 4 of state 4 or line
4.
So he said
The 4th
state
that you have to do,
That means
you bear
the and face
the adversities
and the hardships
which you are going to face
while you
are serving this team.
So
the way
is not closing.
So you need to have Sabra.
A Sabra other
other other because
this is the way to the agenda,
and there are enemies.
So you have to beat them
in the field of patience.
You have to
be more patient
than they are.
So the suburb, where the above and sisters
is very, very important.
That's why
the early
generation,
the early Muslims,
they were tested.
Well, this
quality, the Sabbath. Allah tested the Sabbath.
The prophets were tested, and their followers were
tested.
So you
are going to face Aga,
harms,
hardships,
but you have to remain patient
in carrying out this dua,
this light.
So he mentioned this Surah
Surah Al Asad
to
draw
our attention to the fact
that all
mankind,
by the passage of time
well, actually, by time.
And Allah can swear and can take an
oath
and swear
by any of his
creatures.
But we,
as servants of Allah, we are not allowed
to swear except by Allah's name.
Take an oath only in his name.
By the passage of time,
surely humanity is in great loss.
Most certainly,
mankind
is in great
loss. Except those who have faith,
those who believed,
and do good deeds.
So this portion is related to the
to the title
that you have to be patient
And urge each other to the truth
and urge each other
to persevere.
Always this
form,
means the action is reciprocating,
mutual.
What the wasol will help.
That I advise you, you advise me, you
remind me, I remind you.
What the wasol will happy?
So they remind each other
to remain steadfast on the haqq.
Each one is strengthening
his
brother to remain steadfast on the truth.
And urge each other to remain patient
because this is the way
to the Jannah,
and you are inviting the people
to the worship of Allah.
So you are inviting
them to the way of salvation,
inviting them to the Jannah.
Shaitan will not leave you
to take the people
to the path of the jannah, the way
of salvation, easily.
He will not spare any effort to stop
you.
That's why you need
a collective effort.
You need to put your hands together as
a mumineen and as a collabs and as
a dua
to the haqq
that you strengthen each other,
and you remind each other.
What's the also, we're happy,
what's the result.
Now
let us, first of all, try to understand
what does this word suffer?
What's the meaning of it
and the types different types of subtle?
The word subtle linguistically,
lexically, if you check the dictionary,
it means
to halt someone
and to stop him from moving
to someone,
to buy in someone, to shackle someone.
So that is the
meaning of the word.
Also,
it is a name of
a plant
whose seeds
of food
is so bitter. It's called,
and
it is used
for medical
reasons
and for medication,
medical purposes.
It is a biter.
It is called sabr.
Also,
let's say,
I tell who the in the language, the
Arabs.
What does it mean
Now you should know that
the word
means to bind, to shackle, to fix,
to pick
up. That means you have taken this person,
and you fixed him so he cannot move,
and then you killed him.
So
which means to kill someone in
captivity
captivity
captivity.
Another poet said,
describing this the meaning of the word Sabah.
Remember, it is also
a name of a plant,
and the fruit of this plant
is so bitter.
He said,
patience
is bitter.
It's not easy
to become patient or to remain patient.
Patience
is bitter
like its name,
the name of that fruit.
But its outcomes,
the results
that will come out
if you remain patient,
but its outcomes
are sweeter than honey.
So now at least you got an idea
about the meaning of the word
linguistically.
So when Allah is commanding us to have,
this means that we have to put some
effort. It's not easy.
It's a bitter.
The doesn't like the,
cannot
endure the,
but you have to suppress
and control
your and control
your desires and control your feelings.
That's why
the outcome,
the result, the reward
is so beautiful.
Allah
says I
attend.
So this is
the fruit of
being patient.
So only those who endure patiently
will be giving the reward without limit.
No limit.
So you cannot
imagine
the reward
of those who are patient.
No limit.
So you cannot imagine the reward.
It's beyond
the imagination
because there's no limit. The lady, hissab, Allah's
sake.
So this is
the merit, and this is the virtue
of this
noble quality
that each one of us should have, the
Sabbath.
As you know, my dear brothers and sisters,
Allah
asked the Muslims
for 2 things,
Sabbath
and
Taqwa. 2 things, if you Muslims have them,
the turning and
flushing of your enemies will not harm you
the least.
And
taqwa. For you who believe,
be patient
and also
defeat your enemies
in this regard
when it comes to patience. You have to
be more patient
than your enemies.
Also, we have something called
in
Islam.
In our deen,
So what is this?
The beautiful patience.
Allah
says, so it's Joseph a18.
You know that
the brothers of Yusuf,
they took Yusuf with them, and you know
what they did to him.
And now to convince their father,
they took the shirt of Yusuf Alisara
and slaughter an animal and soak it in
blood.
And they gave
this is the evidence that we said
we went
racing and the wolf at him.
So Allah says
and they brought his shirt
stained
with false blood.
He responded,
Yaqubari
salah,
no. Your souls must have tempted you to
do something evil.
So I,
I can only endure with beautiful patience.
It is Allah's
help that I seek to bear your claims.
So,
Yaqb alaihis salam, he realized
that they did something
different.
It's not the wolf
because he saw the the
shirt intact.
Which wolf is this one?
Add Yusuf and did not,
damage and tear the shirt of Yusuf.
Cannot be.
Your evil
your souls must have tempted
you to do something evil.
So I can only endure with beautiful patients.
It is the last help that I seek
to bear your
claims.
Sheikh al Salam I bintayni
he
defined and explained what is this beautiful patience
of Sabrool Jamil. He said,
meaning
the meaning
the beauty of patience is that
patience
which involves not any complaint.
You don't complain,
so whatever. You don't complain. You don't say
anything.
So that is a sovereign, Jamil.
You don't complain to anyone.
You endure
whatever you go through patiently
without
complaining
because
Allah knows what you are going through.
And he is the one who put you
through this
test,
this calamity,
and he's the one who's going to remove
it
and save you.
So leave the matter to him.
You don't complain to anyone.
This is
a so you don't complain
because no one can help you.
But you
ask him, to
allay it, what you are going through,
to
make
it valuable,
to ask Allah for looks,
for
kindness,
to be kind with you,
to show us mercy in you,
to give you the patience.
And if
you have this
need
and you
manifest
your weakness
and your poverty
and your need of his help,
and you are humbling yourself to him, subhanallah,
he reduces
what you are going through.
Alleviates
it,
elevate. Subhanahu wa ta'ala. So that is
As
Mujahid also
said in
The beautiful patience
is that which is not associated
with any fear, no fear,
or anxiety,
or worry.
You're going, you have this sickness,
You have this disease.
This calamity befell you.
So bear it
with patience,
beautiful patience.
No fear.
You should know that it is higher for
you.
It is good for you.
Allah
is
cleansing and removing your sense,
elevating your status, Insha'Allah, in the Jannahat.
So just ask Allah
to make it easy on you.
Ask for easiness.
Ask for
lutz of Allah.
So that is a sabrul jameel, my dear
brothers and sister.
Then this Sabr,
Barolemah,
said that there are 3 levels of Sabr.
So there are 3 levels or
3 rounds of
patience.
The first one, which is
the toughest one,
It means
you should have this patience which will
enable you,
by Allah's grace,
to do the righteous deeds.
So
regarding the doing the righteous deeds, you have
to
be patient.
Because here,
you have to do something. You have to
work.
So this needs effort.
You have to pray.
This needs effort. You have to get up
from your sleep,
which you want to sleep.
So you leave your sleep. So
you are resisting
and to you have this struggle whether to
continue sleeping or to get up.
So
requires effort from you.
You have to get up, leave your bed,
leave your sleep,
get an get up and check,
and then go to the masjid.
So this is
You need to have
strong patience
to be able
to do the righteous deeds.
So this is the first level of
the of doing good deeds,
and this requires effort from you.
The second level of which is less than
number 1,
and a haram.
Okay?
The
the from
doing and committing sins.
So this
this patience,
which will empower you to refrain
refrain
from doing
sin from sinning.
So this is level 2.
So you refrain
from doing
or from committing sins.
Why is it less than level 1?
Because here,
you're not going to do something.
You just refrain.
Refraining,
it doesn't there is no effort here. There
is no effort.
You just refrain
from committing the Haram.
Well, as the doing
righteous deeds,
you need to put efforts there.
But here,
just don't do it.
Don't do it.
So here, you don't do anything,
but there you do.
You get up,
but haram, this is haram.
Don't do it. Don't come to it. Don't
come near to it.
So this is the second.
So we're talking here about the significance
and the importance.
So the first one requires efforts from you.
The second
the third
second type level
is that you refrain from sinning.
The third level
is called.
So the endurance
of affections,
calamities,
the painful
decrees of Allah,
the things Allah decreed,
and they are so painful to endure.
So now these are the 3
levels
of that you have to remain patient in
regarding doing the good deeds,
you refrain from committing sins,
and number 3,
sabal,
be patient
and endure
the afflictions
and whatever happens to you.
Then Ibn Taym, he
said
in his beautiful book, Al Fawad Al Fawad,
I recommend that all of you
read it.
Al Fawad, it is there also in English,
and I think it is on the net,
Al Fawad, the benefits.
So he mentioned that
he said,
this is the
categorization
of.
According to the
the
their,
their degrees,
which one is
is more,
painful than the other?
Which one
has more significance
than the other?
The first one,
So the lowest level of is that one.
But then he said,
but when it comes to the people
when it comes to the people,
It differs.
The is
the highest level
and more painful than the others.
But when
we check the people, we find people they
value regarding this.
To some,
the first one,
not difficult for him.
Has no problem with
that. Has no problem. He can
do the righteous deeds, do
get up, pray to Hajjood, go to the
masjid, fast Ramadan,
fast Shawwal,
Monday 3rd, not a problem.
He has no problem with that.
So that one, the first one which is
the most difficult
is the easiest one.
And, also, the second one also,
he has no inclination towards doing the Haram.
That's easy.
The most painful and difficult one for him
is the number 3.
He cannot take
it. He cannot take it.
If he's tested,
he fails in this test.
He mentioned many
stories,
I think, in his book, Sayid Al Khartur.
And that's another beautiful book, Sayid Al Khartur.
He said we know many people
who were always
in the first law in the masjid.
They don't miss
the salah.
Always for years.
Then they were tested.
Allah tested their imam,
and they failed.
He said one of them,
Allah
he has a child,
and that child died.
So when the people came to give condolences,
they found him
complaining.
He was complaining
and saying,
talking about Allah,
Why me? Why me?
Why my son?
My neighbor has many,
and they have only 1 and you took
complaining about Allah.
Insane.
I have one,
and you took him.
My neighbor has money.
So my dear brothers and sister always ask
Allah
to strengthen your iman
and to give you the beautiful Sabat,
a Sabdul Gemi.
So this man,
praying in the masjid all these years,
No problem.
He can take it.
Leaving,
refraining from doing harm. No problem.
But the moment he was tested, he failed.
So that's why I'm not saying he said,
and this vary from one person to another.
Some people,
the first one, no problem.
I will do that. Good,
good deeds.
But the second one is my problem,
refraining from sinning,
refraining from
backbiting,
surrendering,
or any any any other sin
looking at women.
So the second level is the most painful
for him.
Not the first one, not the third one,
the second one.
So it's managed from one person to another.
And each one everyone knows himself.
Which one of the 3
is difficult for him?
Is it the first
doing righteous deeds?
So then you need to
work hard.
Or is it the second one? That means
you have this
weakness
so you can be easily tempted
and commit the haram.
So you need to work on
that to build up the taqwa and fear
of Allah
in your heart.
Or is it the third one?
So when it comes to the application of
these three letters,
people, they vary.
No.
According to the significance
is number 1.
Doing righteous descent, number 1.
Refraining from sinning is number 2,
and bearing
the calamities
is number 3.
So the definition of suburb
after
all this
can be defined as follow.
That Sabah
is to abide by the rulings
of the Kitab and the Sunnah, the rulings
of the Quran and the Sunnah,
to abide by that,
and to refrain from showing any sign of
fear or annoyance
or displeasure.
So this is the meaning of.
Technical definition,
it is to abide. You have to abide
by the rulings of the Sharia,
by following the Quran and the Sunnah,
following what Allah said, following what the prophet
said, and
refrain from showing any sign
of fear
when a calamity befalls you, anxiety,
annoyance, you become annoyed, or displeased with Allah,
Azza wa Jal.
The importance of the sabr
the importance of the sabr.
Why sabr is so important?
There are four reasons
for that.
Number 1,
Allah mentions the
in more than 90
places in the Quran. More than 90 places.
Allah is mentioning Sabr Sabr Sabr.
The mean the word of Sabr.
So this shows the its significance
and its importance.
Also,
Allah combined the with the salah.
Sabr and salah, they go together.
K?
So seek help
and assistance
by doing the salah
and being patient.
So they go together.
Also,
all the obligations
that Allah imposed on us,
the commitments, the things that we have to
do,
they are linked with
the linked with
needs
needs
needs
needs
needs. Fast needs
So all these
obligations
are
linked to the.
Also,
the 4th
reason,
Allah
when he swore by the time,
and he said that mankind are only
a loss.
He exempted
those who are patient
and do a righteous deeds.
So he singled out the patient,
which means
this shows the significance of the.
Allah my dear brothers and sisters and throughout
the Quran
in many places of the Quran,
he commands us to remain
patient
because
remaining patient
and endure
whatever befalls us
patiently
is something
pleasing to Allah and
it is a sign of imam.
So Allah says in Surat Luqman.
Regarding Luqman advising his son,
Oh my son.
Oh my dear son.
Establish pair.
Hakim, sir.
Encourage what is good.
Enjoying what is good.
Forbid what is evil.
And
endure
patiently
whatever befalls
you.
Surely, this is
a resolve to aspire to.
This is something
you need to
work hard to achieve.
Surely, this is a resolve to aspire to.
So Alukman,
alay salaam, was advising his son
and telling him you have unayatimsalah.
So this is the first advice.
Atimsalah. And this is what you should do
to your children.
Salah. Salah. Establish the salah.
That's what the prophet said. That you command
your children to pray when they reach the
age of 7.
Then when they reach the age of 10
and they are not praying,
you discipline them,
and then you separate them in their beds,
the boys and the goats.
This you see what Luqman was teaching to
his son?
Was instilling in the heart of the his
son,
salah, enjoying what is right, forbid what is
evil.
So when the child get bring is brought
up
in joining the eyes and forbidding the evil,
of course, he doesn't see evil at home.
So he grows up in an environment
that enjoys the right and forbids the evil.
Not he grows
in a home,
in a house,
full of evil.
All TV channels
are there.
All ham is there.
So you kill this child.
He go when he grows up,
he's used to this haram.
And he consider, though, this is about
it's it's normal. Nothing to wrong with it.
But if he grows in an environment, righteous
environment,
environment that is free from all these evils,
and his parents, they
bring him up to enjoy the light and
forbid the evil,
then he will be an effective
element in the community, and he will be
enjoying the lie and forbid the evil.
Then he told his son,
be patient.
Endured.
Patiently, whatever befalls you.
In the death, you come in Hazmin Umar,
my son. Surely, this is under resolved to
aspire to.
Also,
Allah
told his prophet
as in Surat al Muzammil.
Be patient, O Muhammad, O prophet sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam.
We do what they say,
your
people, and depart from them
courteously.
Be patient.
And that's why
in the early days of the dawah,
the Muslims
were only told to be patient.
Hold your hand. Don't do anything.
Don't
retaliate.
Don't do anything.
This is a phase.
This is a state you need to posit
Allah's testing.
Your your patience testing your iman.
So be patient or prophets would love to
say.
They're saying you're a poet. They're saying you're
mad. Yeah?
Don't react.
And depart from them courteously.
Also,
Allah says in Surat
al Baqarah,
I 153.
Yeah.
All believers
seek comfort
and patience and prayer.
Allah is truly with those who are patient.
Reflect on this
Ayah.
Aya.
First of all, my dear brothers and sisters,
whenever you hear this
pay attention
because Allah is going to say something.
So Allah is addressing all the believers,
and you are one of them.
So
lend your ear to this.
Pay attention.
Okay? You are ready now. So Allah is
going to tell you something.
This what Allah is telling you.
Comfort
Usa,
in patience
and prayer.
You are facing a problem.
You feel depressed.
You feel sad?
The cure is here.
Patients,
Get up, take and
pay
and cry
to your lord.
And you will see they affect
immediately.
When you finish your salah,
you feel the relief.
That's why the prophet whenever
he's faced by any problem,
either
any
difficult situation,
he would run and flee to the salah
to the salah.
So the salah
brings that
peace,
serenity
to
you, that calmness,
and this anxiety and depression and
sorrow
will vanish.
Vanish. Always
keep this in mind.
Saba and salah.
Stay in Urbas Sabri was salah.
But if you don't have salah,
you don't pray.
What do you expect?
You don't pray.
So
you will be living in misery
in misery.
And that's why
the non believers,
when they are
hit by a calamity, they panic.
They don't know what to do.
You can see them. You can see
the the worries. You can see the anxiety.
You can
see the sadness on their faces
because they don't know what to do, how
to handle it.
Well, as the muklim,
This is from Allah.
This is from Abak.
So whatever befalls me
was not done to miss me.
So you receive
this painful
and decrees of Allah
patiently
with contentment,
with.
So the Sabbath and the salah,
they go together.
Study in
And
see how Allah ended the eye.
Allah is truly
with those who are patient.
Allah is with you, my dear brother and
sister.
Allah is with those who are patient.
If Allah is with you,
then you don't worry about anything.
You don't worry about anything because he's with
you
in the land
of my Saudi.
And the summer
has many fruits.
1st,
it's a way of actualizing
the iman
to actualize the iman
in your life,
the sub.
So when you have the Sabbath, this is
a sign of the imam.
You manifest your imam through the Sabbath.
The prophet
one day,
he passed by a woman
near a grave
crying.
He told her,
You're not be falling
with what I'm going through.
You're not hit with the calamity that hit
me,
so you don't know.
The prophet,
he left her.
Why
he
left
her?
Why didn't he tell her I am Allah's
prophet
and stop doing this,
cry.
The Ullaba, they say to Rham Allah here.
The Rhamma of the prophet
was manifested
That
his indeed, he is a mercy for mankind
is shown here
in this situation
because the woman was so weak
because she lost one
of her
beloved ones.
So when the person is weak,
in a state of weakness,
he is so vulnerable
to the shitharm.
So vulnerable.
Had the prophet
started unarguing with her,
she would have said something
worse than that,
which will take her out of the fold
of Islam.
So the prophet
he realized
because in this situation, she is so weak,
and he doesn't want the shaitan also to
exploit
that chance. He left her.
He left
her. When the prophet
left, she was told, what have you done?
That was Allah's prophet
Oh, now she felt bad.
So she came to the
to apologize.
Oh, prophet of Allah didn't recognize
you.
He told
The real patience
is at the first stroke of a calamity.
The moment you are hit with the calamity,
that way you should show patience.
Not after that.
The moment you hear the news,
your father died, your mother died, your brother
died, your son died, your wife died,
the moment you hear the news,
immediately you say,
and this
what we should train ourselves, my dear brothers
and sisters.
For example,
prepare yourself psychologically.
If you receive a call at late night,
assume it is a bad news. Assume.
Because no normally, no one will call at
this time. So assume it is about the
news.
So you prepare yourself.
K?
So the moment you receive the news,
you are already prepared. So you say
because
because that is a.
The first time you are hit with the
calamity,
you say this.
So the real patience is that
is at the first stroke of calamity.
Also,
And Baha'i reproach it. He said,
And I said,
he heard the prophet
declare that Allah, who is glorious and exalted,
said,
when I afflict my servant
in his 2 love things,
that means his eyes,
and he induced patiently.
So you lose your sight.
I know, brother. He made an accident. He
lost his
side.
He's so patient.
And he abused patiently.
I shall compensate him for them with paradise.
So the reward will be the Jannah for
him, the Jannah.
Because you
endured this
great loss. No doubt.
You lose your sight.
And he induced it this loss patiently,
I shall compensate him for them, for the
2 eyes,
the jab The
jab.
Also, my dear brothers and sisters, among the
fruits,
the brings about
Al
Ikhbat
which
is humility.
Humility.
You become a humble person.
As Allah says in Surat Al Haj 34
to 35.
Who are they?
And give good news, oh, prophet,
to the humble, the Muftbitir.
Who are they? Those whose heart
tremble
at the remembrance of Allah,
who patiently
endure whatever
may befall them
whatever
may befall them, and
who establish prayer and donate from what we
have provided for them.
So this is the fruit of the supper.
You get this
Ihbat,
this humility,
humbleness.
Also,
brings about Hidayah
in
your life.
No calamity befalls anyone except by Allah's will.
This is you have to know this, my
dear brothers and sisters.
Nothing happens in Allah's kingdom without his will,
whether the legal or the universal,
but nothing
can escape escape
the divine will of Allah.
And whoever
has faith in in Allah,
he will likely
guide
Allah will likely guide their hearts.
The son of said,
Allah guides his heart,
means he knows
that this calamity
is meant to be for him,
and we're not going to miss him.
So he accepts Allah's with
contentment
and pleasure.
And that's the meaning.
Allah gives you this comfort
in your
heart, but this is Allah.
And
Allah has perfect knowledge of all things.
Also,
among the fruits of the Sabbath
is the
tamqin,
the establishing
of the deen on earth.
Because you are patient,
so the deen will be established
upon the hands of those who are patient.
Allah says in Surah to say that, ayah
24.
Guiding by our command
when they patiently endured and firmly believed in
our sight.
Also, among the fruits of being
patient, my dear brothers and sisters,
that you get Allah's
You get Allah's
mercy.
Allah
says
in 55 to 56.
The show's up in? And the data is
that I'll solve it to see but you're
not in
a
in a hear out.
What the show's up in?
Give the good news
to those who patiently
endure,
who win face with the disaster,
when they are hit with the calamity.
Have you ever
reflected on this?
We are our laws.
Where is
so he can do whatever he wants with
And most certainly to him
will be the return.
We will return to him
Also, among the flutes
is the Ma'iya.
The Ma'iya.
Ma'iya.
The witness
Allah's witness.
Allah with you.
This Maria.
When it is there, you feel it,
and you believe it, that Allah with me.
So if Allah with you,
you don't worry about anything.
You don't worry about anything.
Allah says in Surat Al Anfal aya 46.
This is
a command from Allah.
Allah and his messenger, and do not dispute
with one another.
That's what Allah is telling us Muslims.
Do not dispute with each other.
Argue with each other.
Fight with each other.
Well, that's another. Why? What will happen?
That's a If
you
dispute, if you fight
each other,
that's a
You will be discouraged
and
weakened.
Your strength will leave you.
That's why your enemies are working
to make you busy fighting each other
and disputing with each other.
Allah is saying,
persevere,
be patient.
Allah is with those
who persevere,
those who are patient.
May Allah
make us among the Sabireen,
make us among the patient, and may Allah
unites
our hearts among the
and safe our strength.
And may
Allah
guide our Ummah to the stawat and moustakim
and
may Allah
forgive us our faults and mistakes and ignorance,
and may Allah
keep us to remain steadfast
in this beautiful deen
till we meet him,
and he is pleased with all of us.
And
And may Allah reward all of you, my
dear brothers and sisters,
for your patience
and attendance.
May we begin Insha'Allah question and answers now?
Okay.
Okay. Brothers and sisters, inshallah, it's time for
the questions and answers. If you have any
questions,
please send them through fast
via the chat section or press on raise
hand,
and we will take your questions verbally.
We will
begin with the first few questions which we
have already received,
and then we'll move on with other ones.
Okay?
This is a question from a brother who
asked me to ask you.
Please make dua
for him.
After Allah guided him to Islam, he became
firm to uphold the deen everywhere.
There was a girl he liked while he
was not practicing.
After guidance, he kept himself fully away from
non marams.
Recently, he suddenly saw the sister and felt
weak to her again
as she couldn't
avoid him.
He asked his parents about weakness of this,
and his parents tell told him to get
married to her.
He started to pray tahajjud istikhara
fasting on Mondays Thursday
Thursdays and asked their brother
related to her for proposal.
He insulted the brother and despaired
him,
But he fuels the fitra towards her
as she is always trying her best to
create fitna.
He is asking Allah for her guidance and
doing Istikhara every time and not
having any signs.
What would you advise to this brother?
May Allah
fill his heart with the tapwa. May Allah
save him from
this,
illicit relationship,
illegal relationship, Haram relationship.
And may Allah guide the girl as well,
I mean.
So my advice to him
is to quit immediately
and to stop
any contact or communication with the girl.
You see now?
This is we have life example here.
The father, he prays, he passed, he may
place the Hajjids.
That's no problem with the first level of
Sabbath.
His problem is level 2,
refraining from sinning.
That is the problem.
And that's why, my dear brothers and sisters,
when one
repents
and leaves what he used to do,
he has to change everything.
All his friends,
cut the relationship,
Remove anything that will remind him about his
past.
Erase all the contact numbers,
all emails,
anything.
And even the places that he used to
go to, he should not go
because you never know when the shaitan will
remind him and
especially when he's weak and
the
shahua will be triggered.
So my advice for the father is strengthen
your relationship with your lord and be sincere
and cut this relation with the girl.
And I will not advise you to marry
her
unless and until
she repents
because you are saying she is trying to
pull you to the Haram.
So she's not
a wife
that you should
marry
and have children from that.
So
repent sincerely,
Turn to
Allah
cut the relationship.
And
if you are able to get married,
look for a decent sister,
practicing sister
who will help you
to maintain your deen and your iman.
Meanwhile,
if you have a problem with the shahua
and the desire,
practice what the prophet
said, the fasting, the siyam, as you mentioned,
Monday Thursday.
So keep fasting,
and be in a righteous company of brothers.
And don't go to the places where you
used to go
and ask Allah
to save you. May Allah
save you from this fitna
ameen. And may Allah send in your iman,
and may Allah keep you keep you remain
steadfast
on the hap ameen.
This clear to the questioner.
So
it is clear, Sheikh. We go to the
next question.
My question is, is it permissible
to decorate the house with balloons and so
on for a small child to make her
happy who would come back from the hospital?
Who would come back from what?
From the hospital, Sheikh.
Yeah. There's no nothing wrong with this. Decorating
the house with balloons and and flowers, nothing
is wrong with that at all.
It's permissible.
Okay, Shala. We go to the next question.
A person
vowed that if his daughter became healthy, he
will sacrifice a goat for his daughter and
will distribute distribute
it to the people.
So he is asking that is it allowed
for his daughter
for whom he vowed to eat from that
meat.
No. He he he he vowed to to
distribute it to the pool. Right?
Yes, sir. Okay. Then you distribute it to
the poor.
Don't take anything from that meat. You can
buy any other meat. But this the bow,
it's not recommended, but anyway, you have to
fulfill it.
You have to fulfill it and you commission
it yourself.
Wait. Okay. Sure.
Let's
see.
K.
Sheikh, the next question. Assalamu alaikum Sheikh.
Sometimes we eat with our hand, thereby unable
to pick
glass of water with the same hand? Can
we use the left hand to pick the
glass of water
and use the back of the
right hand to support the glass to drink?
Will this suffice for the prohibition of using
the left hand alone to drink?
No.
Let it become dirty.
You drink with your right hand.
K?
Yeah. The people, they take a turn
of this and then they are.
Shaitan is playing
tricks.
K?
No.
It's the shaitan drinks with the left hand,
eats with the left hand.
And don't you know the one? The prophet
say if you to
the,
to a man,
eat with your right hand. He said, I
can't. He said, you can't.
And he was paralyzed. So eating
and using the left hand
while you are eating is haram.
Unless there's something wrong with the right hand.
K?
So don't use your left hand.
Right? Eating drinking or eating?
Is this clear to the question?
Inshallah, it is clear.
We will take the question now from Fazilah,
sister Fazilah. Please go ahead.
Alright.
Sheikh, I I wanted to ask,
what is the,
what is the indication
of having passed a test?
And
if you were to fail a test,
would and you repented for it,
would you then later get
a test
at the same level,
or would it be a harder test? Or
is there anything
like that
where you,
I don't know. I'm just trying to understand
how the test
how the test come. If you pass the
test, you get a harder test that follows
it.
Do you get one at the same level?
I'm I'm kind of yeah. I'm just trying
to clarify.
So you are talking about
Allah testing us alive. Right?
Yes.
Okay. Yes.
The the prophet
said,
Allah
test the people according to the strength of
their iman.
So the stronger the iman, the tougher the
test.
So if you plot a graph
between the strength and the test,
so the stronger the iman,
the higher the test, the top of the
test. So they are directly proportional.
Some iman,
tough test. Some iman, tough test.
And, of course, the result,
higher level in the jannah.
K? Because the exam is tough,
and the iman is strong for that test
because Allah is just
Allah test the people according to their iman
out of his mercy.
And some people, Allah, does not test them
because he knows
that iman cannot endure the test.
So the test is always proportional to the
strength of the iman.
That's why the ones who will receive the
toughest,
the most difficult,
the most painful
test
are the prophets
and messengers
than those who are next to them.
And
the reward, of course, is tremendous,
higher ranks in the Jannah.
K?
And if you want also to get to
give an example from our life,
The universities.
There are also grades
and categories plus competitive funds.
The highest universities,
Cambly, Oxford,
Harvard.
The admission exam is tough exam.
It's not like other universities.
But if you are a graduate from Harvard
or Oxford
or Cambridge,
you know,
the opposition and your status,
because
this is
a known
institution
and not anyone
will graduate from it.
The test
is so tough.
So when the person graduates from such
universities,
that means he put a lot of efforts,
and the exams were
tough exams,
but then the result
and the prestige.
So now imagine
the graduation
that when you graduate
in the dunya
and you receive the reward is the jannah,
and you are in the highest level of
the jannah, the 3rd dose.
So, yes,
the
one will be
tested
according to the strength of the imam.
Now he's tested. He passed the test,
and the iman is also increasing. Also, the
top the test will be tougher.
Iman will increase. The test will be tougher.
That's it.
And the Allah
out of his mercy also, he gives the
per the person the ability
to pass this test with
flying colors.
Is this clear to you, Cecil?
Yeah. Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Let us see who we have. Is if
the
if there are any more questions, please raise
your hands.
Ali Ibrahim, please unmute your mic.
Brother Ali Ibrahim, please unmute your mic. Press
on unmute
or press on the mic signal once.
Prada Al Ibrahim?
Okay.
If there are any more questions, please send
us
brother Al Ibrahim. Go ahead.
Sheikh
for your
valuable time.
Your established
effort is for
this very good,
explanation of the deen of Allah.
You have mentioned tired of summer Safar.
And my question is,
although you might need,
a of explanation is of Tafsir and so
on. I would like to ask you this,
Ayah of Quran, Suratul Hajj,
where Allah says,
Ayah number 10
for Suratul Hajj,
where Allah says,
This is ayah 10 ayah 15, Surah Al
Hajj.
And then Allah continues to say to Uqad
Alika and Zal Nahu Ayat and Bayanat.
That's my question, Sheikh Barak Lafiq.
See the,
this
Talking about, of course, the prophet.
So those who think that Allah will not
support his prophet
in this world and in the next,
Then
let him salam.
Salam means huddle. Hello?
Let him extend the law from the heavens.
Okay?
And then hang hang himself with that
and then cut it.
And see, will that remove
the hatred he has
for the and for the deed?
In other words,
let this hatred that you have in your
heart
kill
you.
Let it kill you.
This deen
will prevail.
Allah
will help his
prophet,
will give the nazar to his prophet,
and
you will end up
if you remain like that,
having
this grudge and hatred
from Muhammad,
you will end up, of course,
in the blazing fire. So
if you think Allah will
not give and
victory and help
to his prophet in the dunya,
dunya. Tell them, did we suffer?
You know, when you want to commit suicide,
what do you do? You hand a robe
in the silic,
and also the sama can mean sama in
Arabic means anything above you.
So hang this,
a rope and kill yourself.
And, 5, think,
will that will remove this feeling you have
and hatred in your heart?
This is what Allah
is saying
about such a person. That's what
the mentioned in the in the books.
Is it clear to you, Ali?
Yes,
It's very clear.
We'll move to the next question now.
Today, I had a visitor,
an elderly man
who talked about the Sahaba,
and he hated them just because they participate
in fitna.
And he concluded by saying that Aisha
and Ali
are among.
And then here, I think they've he's missed
out some words.
And Abdullah bin Zubair and others,
and that they are amongst the people of
fire, A'uva Billa.
Does such belief lead to Kufr,
Jazakullahqir?
It can. Yes.
It can lead to the Kufr,
but it seems to me this older man
is ignorant,
being poisoned and brainwashed
by someone.
So if it's a Sunni,
if
it's a Shia,
then,
this is expected
because they hate the Sahaba,
and they consider all the Sahaba disbelievers
except Ali and Hanfolks
of the Sahaba. But if he's a Sunni,
he has been brainwashed for sure
and needs to be educated.
How can you say his Zubair is in
the hellfire
when the prophet
is saying he is from the tent that
he will be in the ganna?
You don't believe in what the prophet said?
May Allah guide him.
But be
careful.
Try to educate him.
Try to
explain to him.
And if he is not ready to listen
to another to
accept the hack,
be careful.
And stop. Cut the relationship with him. Cut
the relationship with him.
Next.
Nam Shah. The next question, what is the
ruling on land with regards to paying Zakat?
Are there different rulings as regards to the
land in which one intends to develop
and the one in which one intends to
sell.
Yes. The the or the matter they differentiate.
If this land is for
building your own house,
to build a house
house for you, accommodation for you.
So you want you,
have this land and you intend to build
the house on it and you live in
it.
Yeah. I have no intention to sell it.
So here, there is no other card.
But if it is for
trading,
and, this is what we call all over
the tejala.
K. These assets are for trading.
So just they are waiting for the the
prices in the market to go up and
then you will sell.
So here, these are trade item, all the
tejala.
So you have to evaluate the land because
this is money. It likes money.
It's evaluated
according to the price in the market,
and you give the return. Yes.
Next.
Next question, Sheikh. Assalamu alaykum
for teaching us about Sabr. We need it.
Number 1,
is it permissible to read books of our
masaiyah or watch their videos or listen to
their talks
within the masjid?
I'll say yes.
Okay.
The second question, Sheikh, does complaining
undermine the principle of sabar?
Yeah.
Okay.
May Allah preserve you and us all. Amen.
Is it right to say Shaitan made me
forget?
It's
okay. When they forgot the the fish.
So, yes, the shaitan caused you to forget
it.
Next. Next question from the same questioner. I
tend to drink slowly
and have long intervals
whilst I am occupied or working.
Do I need to say the basmalah during
the intervals?
May Allah reward you with good.
It is recommended
in between.
But the first one you say, Bismillah,
that it is better that Bismillah, alhamdulillah, Bismillah,
alhamdulillah. But if you say Bismillah in the
beginning and you
next.
Next question. Sometimes one might be hurt by
another person.
If they talk to themselves verbally
complaining about what that person did,
The person might say this is such and
such. Is that reba?
It is reba
when you mention something
about someone and who hates that thing to
be mentioned. This is the definition of labor.
But, you know, there are exceptions that will
not make it labor
if someone is complaining about someone who wronged
them or her,
and then he mentions what the
he did or she did.
Okay? Then that is not
if you are complaining.
Like, for example, in,
Hind of the Allah,
he came to the prophet
complaining about Abu Sufyan
of the Allahu Anhu,
and she said
in a of Rasfyan Rajil Shahi,
that Abu Sufyan has a tight hand.
He doesn't give me enough money for me
and my children. Can I take from his
money without letting him know?
The prophet said, yes, you can.
Here the prophet said, he did not tell
him,
fear Allah,
how do you talk about your husband?
This is Riva. No. Because he at the
prophet is playing the role of the Mufti
Mufti.
So he said,
it's okay.
So if someone
is complaining
and he mentions
things that someone did to him,
that's okay.
No. It is better if you are not
going
to sue him or,
and file a case against him. There's no
need to mention all these things.
But if
you want to sue and file a case,
then there's no harm, and it's not *.
Is this clear to the
The next question, assalamu alaikum, Sheikh, may Allah
reward you abundantly.
What is the ruling on a person passing
wind only when it's time to pray?
He passed the wind
before or in the salah?
When it's time to pray.
Okay. So when you pass wind, you got
renew the wudu.
You renew the
But if someone is having this problem,
always breaking wind,
always
gas is coming out.
Here,
He should take wudu, he or she take
wudu
just before the salah stops
and should pray. And even if he loses
the wudu in the salah, the gas came
out,
he should continue in his salah or she
continue her salah.
Yes. They say like a woman who is
having a sahaba, who's having continuous bleeding.
She takes and
she starts praying.
Even if she is the blood is flowing
while she is in the salah, her salah
is correct.
Is this clear to the question?
Very clear for all, Sheikh.
Next question.
Is life insurance policy
permissible in Islam?
What if already we have taken 1?
No. It's not permissible,
because this is based on probabilities.
And,
a Muslim should not go for life insurance.
And if someone already did, he should ask,
repent and ask Allah forgiveness.
But you don't go for life insurance.
But this is we Muslims
do not believe because we live in everything
is in the hands of Allah Azza Wa
Jal,
and the children, Allah will take care of
them.
So we don't go for the insurance.
Next question.
The next question, assalamu alaikum.
One of the sheiks mentioned the Hadith that
we should not ask Allah for Sabr,
as it's like seeking calamity and test.
Rather we should pray for Afua.
Is this
Hadith authentic as Allah says seek help from
Allah with Sabr and Salah?
I don't know exactly the exact wordings of
the hadith,
so the question I counsel will word it
to you and you send it to me
so we will check its authenticity.
K?
But to ask Allah, the
lot of
the youngteness, the kindness
when a calamity hits you
and to strengthen your iman
and seek the Sabbath,
there's nothing wrong with that.
So let us have a look at the
wordings of the hadith and the authenticity of
the narration.
Next question, please.
The next question, assalamu alaikum. May alaikum. May
Allah bless you and your family. Amin.
My question is,
Sheikh, when going through an emotional test,
how can one keep oneself strong so as
not to let the test stress and strain
affect the physical and spiritual
self?
And also so that I can keep myself
strong for my family and children.
The emotional test
and strain is coming from an injustice
being done to me by my husband, Jazakullah
Khair. I am fighting it, but I fear
my health is suffering.
It's only Allah who can
help.
So put your trust in Allah
Seek the help
in the suburb and the salah.
All your heart
to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Ask him
to strengthen your email.
And this is
a test from Allah and
may Allah
give you the chance to pass it.
But at the same time, try to
find out why you are having this,
problems with your husband. Maybe you are the
cause
of such,
problems.
So sit down and analyze the situation
and see why he is treating you this.
Why he is unjust and unfair to you?
Try to find out.
Try to avoid the things that will
make him
teach you harshly
or wrong you
try to avoid all these things.
So you need to look into the matter
deeply
and
analyze and see why
this is happening.
And at the end of the day, it
just
Ibtihah.
So you ask Allah
for help.
May Allah
guide your husband, and may Allah
strengthen your iman, and may Allah
give you the beautiful, patient Sabrul Dimir Ami.
Next.
Brother Abdulrahman, can you unmute your mic, inshallah?
You can ask your question directly.
May Allah have mercy on you and on
us also.
My question is, Sheikh,
I read
the,
the companion of, prophet Muhammad
He spend his life,
in desert.
Is it allowed a common man to leave
the city premises and
be alone in somewhere where don't know anybody
to avoid the of this, era.
First of all, Abu Dhar was not in
the desert,
and the Rabida was a city.
So
so he was not on the desert.
And it is a place people are living,
and
he decided to live
there
by his own free will.
It is not as they say that,
deported him to that place.
Oh, this
story is not true.
But he decided
to move to Ahmedabad and to live there,
and he died there. So he was not
in the desert
as he understood.
And the pastor, as Salim, he said,
the man or the person who
mingles with the people and live among them,
and he induced their nonsense,
and he enjoys what is good and forbids
what is evil is better than the one
who runs away
and lives in the mountains and there.
That's only it was the end of time
When the fit are everywhere
and one is going to lose his deal,
then, yes, you seek shelter in the mountains
and follow your flock of sheep.
But that situation is not yet there.
So there are Muslims, Alhamdulillah.
There are Vowel Organization. There are people enjoying
what is right and forbidding what is evil.
So be a positive person, not a negative
one. Be full of positivity
as a Muslim.
Is this clear to you?
Yes, sir.
Yeah.
This book that we are going through, Musula
Tarata,
is very important book,
and every word is important.
So now
these four issues,
if you follow this,
this is
the way where, Insha'Allah,
you will succeed
because you are worshipping Allah upon the sealah.
You seek the knowledge,
and you are practicing it, and then you
are making dua, I'm calling, and then you're
a man patient.
This is
if a person fulfill these three four,
matters,
this will be, inshallah, the right track,
which will take you inshallah by Allah's grace
to you, not tonight.
So practice that in your life
and read these books, memorize it, understand it.
May Allah
bless you
and increase our knowledge and your knowledge and
grant you the beneficial knowledge. Amen.
May Allah
keep us to remain steadfast in this beautiful
deed
till we meet him and he is pleased
with all of us. Amen.
And may Allah reward all of you immensely
for your patience and attendance.
Till we meet inshallah in the coming session,
inshallah,
I leave you in Allah's company
and protection.
