AI: Transcript ©
Brothers and sisters,
and welcome to our weekly verse,
verse number 26
of Usul Athalatha, the 3 fundamental principles
with our honorable Sheikh
Salim Al Amri.
As always, Insha'Allah, 2nd hour reserved for question
and answers,
and you may do so
in terms of asking your questions on the
Zoom platform if you're with us
on the Zoom.
Otherwise, if you're watching from Facebook and YouTube,
you are more than welcome,
to join us and benefit.
However, only the questions we will be taking
on the Zoom platform.
My dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
our weekly class,
the
3 fundamentals.
Knowing Allah, knowing his prophet, and then knowing
the Deen.
And then learning the deen, practicing the deen,
and then calling
others to this deen.
And here, we are talking
from the last few sessions about
the qualities
of the,
the ambassador of this dean.
What are the prerequisites
and qualifications
he should have.
And we will continue, inshallah,
because the ambassador of Islam
should know how to represent Islam
and present it
in the most beautiful
manner.
So there are certain
qualities
a diary should have.
I mean, these qualities
is the tawakkal
upon Allah, a zawakkal.
Put your trust totally in Allah
and rely totally on him
This is the most important element
the most important
element.
Whoever puts his trust
in Allah,
then
Allah,
then He alone, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, is sufficient
for
for them.
Certainly, Allah achieves his will,
and whatever Allah's
decree is going to pass.
But, You Allah,
Allah has already
set a destiny for everything.
So the dairya,
put your trust in Allah
and then proceed.
And if Allah sees that you are really
sincere
and you want
to serve
His deen,
he will grant you the success.
So each one of us should check his
heart.
Am I doing the da'wah
for the sake of Allah?
If that is the case,
then Abshayf.
Have good
and glad tidings
on the support from Allah Azzawajal
and Jannah
and heaven and paradise
awaits you.
It's there waiting for you.
So
we need to purify this heart
and fill it with the yadeen
and the tiraqal
upon Allah as the return.
Then you don't care, and you don't worry
about anything else.
Allah
my dear brothers and sisters,
sage in Surat Al Hej,
I n 94,
So
proclaim
what you have been commanded,
and turn away
from the polytheist.
And away from them,
that whatever they say,
all their propaganda,
all their oppositions,
just
proclaim
the hack.
Say the message
and go ahead and proceed.
Tell the truth.
In the best way,
but say
it and don't sugarcoat
it.
No need.
Just deliver it as
is. No need to you to put your
own words.
Listen. In the early days of the Dua,
the jihad was only to read the Quran.
Nothing else.
Just read the Quran,
and that is jihad.
The message is clear.
The words of Allah are so powerful.
They touch
the heart,
and they penetrate
its membrane.
So just say it.
It. Past that,
we must
proclaim and declare and convey
what you have been commanded. And
turn away from the.
Those whom Allah
wanted
to guide
the light of guidance
will be to the hearts,
and they they accept the heart.
Those
whose hearts are sealed,
then
we can't do anything for that.
Their hearts are in Allah's hand,
as Allah said.
Whether you want them or you want them
not, they believe not.
It's the same. Whether you want them or
you don't want them, they will not believe.
So this category of people, you're just ignorant,
but carry on.
There are many people there who are hungry,
and they want
to know
the way out
the way out.
They want to know what is the the
way of salvation.
So
The Gaia
has to convey the message.
I should not hide hide it
or dilute it.
Perhaps the message
as received from Allah, Aqsa wa'ala,
taught and conveyed by the prophet
to his companions
and passed
through the generations.
That is the deal you have to
keep and maintain it
in its pristine
form
and tell the people about it.
Because
the dean of Islam is so beautiful,
it needs no one
to beautify it,
and we should not hide any part of
it.
Allah says in Surat Al Ba'al
regarding those who hide
the knowledge
and conceal it.
So Allah says in Surat Al Baqarah, I
am 159.
So that's why the duty of the dairya
and
the island
is to
convey the message
completely.
As our pastor
delivered it completely,
we have to teach it completely
without hiding anything.
So Allah says,
Scary.
Those who hide
those who hide the clear proofs
and guidance
that we have revealed
after we made it clear for humanity, for
mankind in the book,
will be cursed by Allah
and all those who curse.
So this is the punishment
of the one who hides anything of the
deed.
So those who hide
the the clear
proofs and guidance
After we have made it clear for mankind
in the book,
Allah made it clear, detailed,
explained
to his prophet, to the sunnah of the
prophet.
Allah curses them.
Well,
and those who curse will curse them.
The people's curse will be on them.
So just,
my dear brothers and sisters,
convey the message
as was received
and as was
delivered
by the prophet.
No need
to do anything or put your own words.
Abu Harayra al Anhu
reported that the prophet said,
he who is asked something he knows,
something you know about the deen,
and conceals
it
will have a bridle
of fire
put on him on the day of resurrection.
You have the end. You have the knowledge.
That's why they say
the one who conceives the knowledge
is
which means what?
Dumb.
Satan.
He's a Satan
and cannot talk.
He has the aim he knows the the,
the,
the, the light on the rock,
and he sees the people out in the
dark,
and he sees the people are confused,
and he doesn't
guide them.
He hides the knowledge.
Not to mention,
if this man or this person
who has the knowledge
justifies
for the people
what the the wrong
what they are doing,
Then
his
punishment will be severe,
more severe and severe.
So here the prophet said,
He was asked something. He knows
here about the deen
knowledge,
and he conceives it.
What will happen?
Allah
the David of Zalaiqin
The bridle that they put
around the
head of the horse,
and they insert that iron bit
inside
the mouth of the horse
so the
horseman
can control the horse.
Then this man, this person,
this guy, this scholar
will have that blinder
of fire.
He will have a bright and a fire
put on him on the day of resurrection.
That iron bit
heated and inserted
into his mouth,
because this tongue
was not
talking
in the,
when he was
supposed to talk
until the hack.
He was dumb.
He was silent.
He was silent devil.
May
Allah strengthen our iman, and may Allah save
us from all the fitan,
the hidden and the manifest.
Another hadith
which really
frightening.
Abu Sarid
reported that the prophet
stood up to deliver a sermon,
Khutba, the speech.
And one of the things he said was
he said,
indeed,
fear of people
should not prevent a man from speaking the
truth if he knows it.
You know the truth. You know the hack.
So the fear of the people should not
prevent you.
In other words,
fear them not
and tell the hap and say it.
And when you read the history of our
scholars,
our imams,
and what they went through because
they said the Haqq.
They said the word of speech of the
haqq, the word of truth,
and they did not fear
anyone but Allah Azzawajal.
Yes.
They were tested.
They were tortured.
But Allah
elevated their status in the dunya and the
akhirah.
Read
what happened to
the ulama in Islam.
What happened to Imam Malik?
It was written.
Imam Abu Hanifa,
Imam Jabari,
Imam Ahmed
beat because
they said the haqq.
So here's
the is warning us.
Should not be intimidated,
should not be frightened
and scared.
Indeed,
fear of people
should not prevent a man
from speaking the truth
if he knows it.
Also, my dear brothers and sisters
that die,
remember, we are talking
about
the psychological
pressure
a
guy faces
and comes
across,
and
he goes through some difficult
situations
while he is traveling
towards the Ahira
while delivering the message
and calling the people.
So the Daria, my dear brothers and sisters,
should know
what is the right
and suitable
approach and method
to overcome
these pressures
pressures which
he faces,
these obstacles,
these hardships.
He should know.
What should I do?
The answer is very obvious.
You are
servant of Allah,
and you are serving his deen.
So he's not going to desert you and
abandon you.
You have to be sure of this.
If you are doing it
for his sake, That's it.
The most important thing, my dear brothers and
sisters and dear guys,
is,
you doing it
purely
for my sake.
If that's it, that's what you should worry
about
and should work on it.
Once you you
feel that, yes, I'm doing it for him,
and this that is the only motive,
then Allah is there for you, and Allah
is there to help
you. So when you come across all these
obstacles,
these pressures,
tell to him.
Turn to
him. That's why
the guy has a relationship with Allah, has
to be strong always.
Always. You have to be.
So you seek Allah's help
and you turn to him.
And that's what Allah is always
instructing us to do when we come across
any hardship
to tempt him
because everything, my dear brothers and sisters,
is in his hand.
So Allah reminds us about this
and so does Dhir Bakr a 45
when he said,
So this is the remedy.
And seek help
through patience and prayer.
Indeed, it is a burden except for the
humble.
Those who
show homage,
those who have kushoor in their prayers.
That's why the prophet
whenever he faces any problem, any hardships, any
difficulty,
he
turns to the salah.
He starts praying to Allah,
crying to Allah.
On the day of Badr
on the day of Badr,
as you know,
the Sahaba came out from Medina
not
expecting
fight.
The aim was to confiscate
the caravan
of Quraysh.
Abu Sefyan
of the Allahu Anbu by then was not
a Muslim.
We
he reached the
the the wells of Badr,
and the Muslims were there
waiting
to set up an ambush for him.
And he saw the droppings of the horses,
and he crushed one
of these
dwellings,
and he found seed inside,
the seed of
date.
So immediately, he calculated
seed, dates, of the Muslims
in Medina,
so the Muslims are allowed.
So
he changed the route, and he sent someone
to inform
Quraysh,
and he managed to escape
with the Kaaba.
Then he was reached Quraysh
and then mobilized
mobilized
their forces
and troops.
Now the Muslims are con in front of
Quraish,
not Amusifiyyah.
What to do?
What to do?
The number?
Few.
They were outnumbered
by the Mushriks.
What for what should the prophet
do? So
turn to Allah.
They turn to Allah in such pain
and kind and kind,
saying, go, Allah,
if this group
is perished,
wiped out,
you will never be worshiped after today,
because
all the Muslims these are the only Muslims
on the planet,
and he was crying,
praying and crying. So madshah said, now Abu
Bakr came and heard them. Said, enough, prophet
of Allah.
Allah
will not desert you.
And that's what Allah mentioned.
When he were crying sincerely,
seeking Allah's help
on the day of Badr.
He responded.
And they want to send down angels to
fight
along with you.
1,000 angels.
And that's what happened.
So my dear dad,
brother and sister,
when you feel
there's
this pressure is building up,
turn to Allah.
As
Nabiullah Yaqub alaihis sala
when he lost
his son,
Yusuf
and he was crying all the time
till he lost his sight.
And when his children blamed him for that,
this is what he said.
And so did Yusuf, aye 86,
He replied,
I complain
of my anguish,
my pain,
and swore only to Allah.
And then you know from Allah what you
do not know.
I'm not complaining to you. I'm not complaining
to anyone.
I'm only complaining to Allah, my lord.
So we should
always complain only to Allah,
our sufferings,
our pains,
sadness.
We complain to Allah
because everything is in his hand.
What is to Allah?
That's why in namah.
Only 2.
This is kafar and makfufa.
This denotes it never denotes
only
Allah.
It's confined
and limits the meaning.
So this complaint,
I only complained to Allah
like in the hadith.
These all these
will be just
according to one's intention.
Depending on your intention.
So here in the Ma'ashkur, I don't complain
to anyone,
but I complain to Allah.
My
suffering,
what I go through,
my sadness, my sorrow.
I complete to Allah.
And they know from Allah what you do
not know.
So this is the first thing you do
to
overcome these
pressures.
Second thing,
do not overburden yourself.
We are humans.
We have certain ability to endure
things. So we should you should not overburden
yourself.
And this is the beauty of al Islam.
Do what you can.
That's why
this deen,
no one can show them the responsibility
all by themselves.
It's the responsibility
of the entire Ummah.
Entire Ummah.
So when Allah
sends for every century a Mujadid,
a reformer,
the ulama said it could be more than
1 at the same time.
Each one is reforming
the deen
in a particular way.
This is in tafsir. This is in hadith.
This is in fiqh.
So there are more than 1
we get did at the same time.
So do not overburden yourself
Because this deen and Islam is so practical.
It's not something idealistic,
and the one knows
that we are
humans.
So that's why he said, and so to
a Baqarah, I had 286.
Now you can you follow-up who not send
in there?
Allah does not require
of any soul more than what it can
afford, what it can bear.
So Allah will not impose it on something
more than
our capacity.
That is why if you read in the
Quran,
Allah
in many places like
Abasa
wa Ta'wala,
Here, Allah is not criticizing
his prophet,
but actually
drawing his attention
and telling him you are overburden
yourself.
Your message only to deliver.
Why are you killing killing yourself over them?
You are going to kill yourself because they
did not believe
in this deed and the message and did
not accept it?
You're over burdened yourself.
This is not some this is not what
I want.
I want you to deliver.
I don't want you to bear more than
what you can handle, what you can bear.
So don't listen to them,
and don't
grant them their request
or meet their request
to allocate special time for them.
Tell them the truth has come from Allah,
from your Lord.
Truth
is clear.
This thing is so clear.
The hack is clear, falsehood is clear.
So the truth is distinct from the falsehood.
So it's up to you now.
You want to believe?
You're a must work. And you don't want?
Bear the consequences,
and that's Jahannam.
So Allah
this is the beauty of what the Islam,
and Allah is so
merciful and
kind.
This
is a golden rule.
When you reach a level that you cannot
take,
Allah does not want that from you. Don't
go further.
Don't overburden yourself.
Do only what you can.
Allah does not require of any soul
more than what it can afford, what it
can bear.
So this
will give you a relief as a darya
that you
try your best
and bear only what you can bear
and then try your best.
And Allah
knows your niyah
and Allah
knows your intention.
As Allah said,
to be mindful
of Allah to the best of your ability,
fear Allah
to the best of your
ability.
And this is also another
bolder rule.
But you can't
but you are able the things that beyond
your control,
Allah will not blame you for that,
and he will not hold you accountable for
that.
That's right.
Something
you can do, do it.
Something
out of your hand,
I will not question you
at
all. And you see in the Sharia,
if you are sick,
play standing, if you cannot sitting,
if you cannot
lie,
because unless see,
What's
the cut? What you can?
I cannot stand. Should I leave the salon?
So sit down and pray.
I cannot sit down.
I went back,
pray
in that position.
I cannot play for a mother.
This is the beauty of Islam,
Immunity is coming continuously.
I am in bed. I'm sick. Should I
leave the salon? No.
K.
Catheter is inserted, and the urine is flowing.
Hey. Subhanallah,
what a beautiful deed.
What a merciful lord.
There's no water,
and there is no earth.
Should I leave the salah?
No.
Hey.
Without
wudu and without tayama,
and your prayer is correct.
This is our deen, my dear brothers and
sisters.
So keep this in mind always.
So be mindful of Allah
to the best of your ability.
So this psychological
pressure we are talking about, what is it?
What is this
about the Nazi
psychological
pressure? What is it?
It is actually is a case
or a situation
that visits the guy.
So there's a situation and case,
like
symptoms,
a condition,
happens to the guy
and prevents him
from achieving his objectives
and his
goals,
and it might paralyze his
throughput, his productivity.
And maybe it will paralyze
his body as well, affect him physically.
This condition this psychological pressure.
Because maybe
he
internalized
things,
and he sees the situation,
and he sees what is happening to the
Muslims and the condition of the Ummah,
and it affects him.
And
he didn't
he doesn't turn to Allah
and cry to him and ask him for
support,
and he
might
despair.
Say,
there's no hope.
There's no hope.
So this is what is referred to as
psychology, psychological
pressure,
and this
pressures
can be categorized or classified as follow.
One category
is that it is
self oriented.
It springs from within
one's
sense.
So you are the generator
of this condition.
So you are
because of it, you, yourself,
because this is self
oriented.
It is
it springs from within yourself.
And this happens due to many factors.
Among these factors, for example,
the guy, he lacks.
He has lack of clarity
about his goals,
about his objectives.
There's no clarity.
Why am I doing this? Why am I
involved in the dawah?
Why am I doing it?
So, because you don't have that clarity,
then you have this condition,
this
psychological
pressure. But if you have the clarity
that I am
calling
the people
to worship Allah.
I am a Dahi,
and no one is better than me.
No one is better than the guy
who close to Allah.
So the clarity should be there.
I'm inviting the people.
I am
fulfilling
what my
prophet said.
Convey on my behalf even one eye.
I'm fulfilling what my lord
sent.
So this is my way.
I call upon
mercy,
clarity,
vision,
sightedness
inside.
I and whoever follows me, I'm following the
prophet.
So I know my I know my way.
I know what I want.
And they should be so confident
that
this dean
will
prevail.
This message
will prevail,
and no one
can put out a lot's light
because that's what Allah said clearly.
So when you have this clarity,
then you will not have this problem.
And the shaitan will whisper and play with
your mind.
Things are clearly your mind.
That's a harbor.
They
know.
They know what they wanted.
They know the.
So whatever happens to us
should not prevent us
from proceeding
to achieve our goals.
Allah says,
so to Toba, I 33.
So when you leave this,
this give you hope,
and the despair should vanish
because the one who was talking is Allah.
So you should not have any doubt.
He is the one who has sent his
messenger with true guidance and the religion of
truth,
making it prevail over all others
even to the dismay of the the politics.
It's Allah
who sent his messenger,
with
guidance,
and
the religion of truth.
And the really religion of truth is only
Islam and Islam.
Anyone seeks other than Islam,
his abode will be the hellfire.
This should be
clear. No doubt in the mind of the
Muslim.
The prophet said,
clear. Any Jew or Christian
from my
Ummah, they are from the Ummah of the
from
Ummah to Dua. Who is the Ummah of
the to
we responded.
To
whom the message on the
is a text.
If they hear about the Islam and they
hear about the then
they didn't believe,
then
their destiny, they had fire.
You will be surprised.
You will go mad
when you hear
people of Nadi
and they are asked this question,
say, yes. Why not?
Why not? They can't go to heaven.
What?
Allah is saying they're going to *, and
you're saying they're going to the agenda?
How come?
You don't believe in what Allah said?
So this deen,
so the religion of truth.
He will make this deen of Islam
supersede
any other belief.
Prevail
over
any other belief.
The the disbelievers,
the polytheists,
the takers,
the hidden,
we're not like it.
But this is Allah's
will,
and this is what Allah decreed.
And what Allah decreed is going to pass.
So when you this clarity is there,
then this psychological
pressure will
vanish
because you have clarity.
The
meaning.
That he heard Allah's messenger
say.
There will not
remain
this is a prophecy
prophecy
said 1400
years ago.
They will not remain on the face of
the earth,
a mud brick house, a house made of
bricks,
or a camel's hair tent
made to Wabaa,
which Allah will not cause the confection of
his clan to enter,
bringing both mighty
honor
and abject a basement.
Allah
will either honor the occupants
and put them among its adherence
or will humiliate them,
and they will be subject to it.
Let us reflect on this.
So here, the prophet was saying,
there will not be
any single house
on the Earth,
on this planet,
And then
Islam is spreading,
reaching the people in the forest.
There are brothers. May Allah reward them immensely,
protect them, bless their efforts, and raise their
status in the dunya of the assirahani.
Welcome for the deed.
Dawah.
Dawah. Dawah. Dawah. Dawah. We are the Ummah
of Dawah. We are a missionary missionary
nation.
So he's saying they will not remain
on the face of the earth
A house
made of brick,
cities,
or made of
the hair of canals,
tents,
nomadic tribes,
and their deserts,
except that this deer will enter it.
And you are seeing it,
and many of you are the birds.
K? And you are the only member in
the family.
What does hadith should do to you, brother
and sister?
Should boost your iman.
And say, oh, my beloved prophet, you said
the truth.
You said the truth.
I am the example, living example.
I'm the only one
in my family.
And there's another one in our family,
and this would reach everywhere.
Well, that it is,
in the cities,
countryside,
deserts,
forests
Everywhere.
This deal will enter it,
Bringing both mighty honor
and dull. Mighty honor for those who accept
it.
Humiliation
at the basement for those who reject it.
Allah will either
honor
the
inhabitants and the occupants
and puts them among its
adherents.
They become a Muslim.
So you become a member of this.
When a father becomes a Muslim, he's a
number
in
this. He's now a person one of the
adherents of this deen
or a sister,
or will humiliate them.
They will be humiliated,
and they would be subject to it
because
they will be humiliated
in the blazing fire.
And they wished
they will wish him that day that they
had heard
or
had
obeyed and responded
to the
callers.
So this will help you, my dear brother
and sister, and the guys,
when you have the clarity
that this deed,
you don't worry about it.
All these oppositions,
all these
campaigns against it,
all this negativity
in the media,
all these things should not affect you.
Just carry on.
Keep moving with the torch.
Take the light.
There are people there
hungry
to receive this hegaiya.
And you should remain focused,
and you should not let anyone
to distract you.
Anyone.
You know your goal. You know your
destination
goal.
Also,
among
the
the causes of this
psychological
pressure, which again
springs from within the person themselves.
They are imaginary
pressures. He imagines that.
He assumes.
This
what will happen.
If I say this,
this might happen to me.
So he's living in that
world of fantasy,
illusion.
So imaginary
pressures,
they're not there.
K?
You see something, evil talk about it.
Now the shaitan will come. Don't talk. This
what will happen. This and that and that,
disturb you. No?
Turn to Allah, ask Allah for help,
and go.
And you delivered your speech and nothing happened.
It was only there in your mind.
So imaginary pressures.
Allah
says in Surat al Mujadila.
I attend
in
Secret talks
are only inspired by Satan
to grieve the believers,
to make you feel
sad,
yet he cannot harm them
whatsoever.
What a surety do you want more than
this?
Yet, he cannot
harm them whatsoever
except for Allah's will.
So in Allah, let the believers
put their trust.
With your trust in Allah.
And whatever happens,
Those who,
whenever they are infected or afflicted by calamity
by calamity or
tribulation
or hardship before them.
What do they say? This is the reaction
of the Muslim.
We are a loss.
We are.
We are owned by Allah.
He created us.
We are
our
was.
And unto
him will be the return.
We'll return to him.
So whatever happens
So these secret talks
and satanic thoughts
do not affect you.
Also,
among these factors,
which are internal
and spring from within, and they are self
oriented
that some guys or some
callers, they have this weak personality.
His personality
is weak.
Weak. So when you are weak and you
have weak personality,
people can shake you
easily.
You cannot present Islam.
You just have this
because you are weak
and
you try
to
please
those
who oppose you
and compromise.
The dahlia should not be like that.
Should be strong,
should have strong personality,
should have the Izzah,
the pride
that you are a believer, you are a
Muslim.
And you have to be honest and frank
and call this faith is faith.
Don't beat about,
about the bush. Don't beat.
Tell the truth,
and don't dilute the deal,
and don't compromise.
So welcome your
personality.
Sensing it. You are
giving
bad image
because of your weak personality.
Be strong.
See here?
See
him? See him on the stage.
See him on the question time when he
gets up.
See the confidence. See the rizah of the
Muslim. That's
why the shifa, they are afraid.
Don't listen to
him.
The
guy has to be strong.
Read.
Rebay of the seer.
Rebe the Hamil,
this Sahabi, the prophet
sent him.
He was sent
to the emperor of Persia.
Chubby clothes.
His stick is his spear.
He entered upon Rustam,
Persian covered,
and he's walking
with his spear
on the carpet.
And
the commander is
looking upon
him. Oh, you Arabs.
What have brought you?
Hunger?
You want
flour?
You want food?
The brave folk.
Say,
we used to be like that. Yes?
We used to be like that. Yeah. Right?
But now we are not the same.
See the words.
As the law has brought us forth,
we are born again.
We are revived.
Allah sent us now.
Allah sent us for you
to bring out
mankind
from the worship of man to the worship
of the lord of man,
to liberate and emancipate
mankind
from worshiping each other.
We are inviting them to worship the lord
and the creator of the heavens and the
earth.
Islam. And from the tyranny and the injustice
of other systems and ideologies
to the justice of
Islam.
And from the narrowness
of this world
to the vastness
of the hereafter.
These are the words came from the mouth
of Radhaib
in the presence of Rustam.
This is the personality of the guy.
This is the personality of the Muslim caller.
So here,
I am number 3.
Oh, John,
hold
firmly to the scriptures,
and we granted him wisdom
while he was still a child.
Oh, John the Baptist.
Hold firmly to the scriptures.
Follow its teachings.
Abide by that.
And we granted him wisdom while he was
still a child.
And the prophet said, Azusahe Muslim.
A strong believer is better
and dearer to Allah than a weak one.
Yes. You need to have a strong,
so Allah loves
the movement who is very strong,
so he's better and dearer to Allah.
I think Imam Ahmed was asked,
the meaning.
Should the Muslim fight
with a commander
or an who
is pious and righteous but weak,
or with a strong commander,
strong, and
he's a sinner.
He's not that pious and righteous.
Which one should we fight with?
He said fight with the one who is
a strong, and he's a sinner.
Because his strength
is for Islam
and his sin on him.
Whereas the righteous one, his righteousness
for himself
and his weakness
will
affect the Muslims
So a strong believer
is better and dear to Allah
than a weak one,
and both are good.
So the weak one
who has this weakness,
Allah
accepts him,
but he's not dear to him than the
other one.
Adhere to that which is beneficial for you.
Keep asking Allah for help, and do not
refrain from it always.
When you need something,
raise your hand and ask Allah for it.
If you are afflicted in any way, do
not say,
if I had taken this or that step,
it would have resulted
into such and such.
Outcry of a spilled milk. It happened. Finished.
So what is the benefit
to say, had I done this, had I
done that?
No need.
But say
but say
Allah so determined
Allah so determined,
Allah decided that
and did as he will.
The word
the
word
opens the gates of satanic
send in Allah iman and your iman,
and may Allah send in
our brothers and sisters
who are in the field of the dua.
And may Allah
preserve them, and may Allah protect them, and
may Allah bless their efforts.
And may Allah
unite our hearts in the truth,
and may Allah unite our ummah in the
Haqq,
and may Allah keep us remain steadfast
on this beautiful deen
till we meet him,
and he is pleased with all of us,
And may Allah forgive us our faults and
mistakes
and ignorance and sins, our sins,
may Allah reward all of you, my dear
brothers and sisters,
for your attendance
and for your patience.
We will begin the question and answer sessions,
brothers and sisters.
If you have questions, send them through. If
you want to ask a verbal question, raise
your hand, and
we will take verbal questions from you.
Let's have a look at what we have
received already.
And then,
we'll begin.
Okay.
Sheikh, the first question
received.
If a woman is praying in front of
me without covering her feet, and I know
that covering feet is obligatory
as well as
the most authentic opinion.
But it is not obligatory in the Madhub
of Abu Hanifa
and I've seen that majority of the people
of the subcontinent flow the Madhub of Abu
Hanifa.
So my question is,
should I as advise her to cover her
feet or should I ask her about her
mother before addressing this issue?
That's one question from this, questioner.
No. Alhamdulillah,
approach her
and explain to her
that
covering the feet, as you know, explained to
her
that
many
imams are saying that you should cover your
feet.
And the prophet
said,
which means
the entire body
of the women is.
So covering your feet,
you will be always on the safe side.
A
Hanafi scholar or Hanafi,
Imam will not
blame you if you cover your feet.
They will not blame you for that
because
you try to be on the safe side
and you are taking
more precautions.
And remember, my dear brothers and sisters, the
Sharia
rulings are only 5.
So if you find a scholar saying haram
and another scholar is saying it is makruh,
not haram,
okay,
leave it.
One is saying Makru, one is saying Haram.
Leave it.
So the one who's saying Haram, if you
leave
it, he cannot say anything.
And the one who was saying, he will
not blame you if you leave it
because it is something
disliked.
So you are on the safe side.
So haram,
leave it.
Now
what are the remaining rulings?
Farb and sunnah.
Farb,
obligatory.
Mandu or sunnah recommended.
Do it.
Do it.
For example, now if we take the niqab
as an example,
niqab,
some of the scholars are saying is what?
Fight.
Wargin to cover your face.
Others are saying it is recommended.
It is.
Women,
it is highly recommended to do that.
So cover your face.
Do it.
So the one who's saying it is fun
cannot say anything about you.
And the one who's saying it is recommended
and it is
and it is must have and will do
will not criticize you
if you cover your face.
Unless he is
have something
something wrong with him
to criticize her sister who just put on
the lip balm.
The sister
is taking
this stance.
She wants to be on the safe side.
She doesn't want to be held accountable and
to be sinful.
So the one who's saying it is foul
will
pray for you, and the one who's saying
it's recommended will pray for you.
So what will I made?
So if
every Muslim follows this technique,
the layman follows this technique,
he will
save himself from a lot of headaches.
Coming to the question,
approach this sister,
and after talking to her nicely and this,
say, can I say something?
And then explain to her.
If you say
no,
I will not cover,
smile, and say,
I'm sorry.
And that's it.
Is this clear to the
Inshallah, it is clear, Sheikh. We'll go to
the next question.
The next question.
Assalamu alaikum Sheikh. May Allah continue to raise
your ranks both in this world and the
hereafter.
I have always been going to the masjid
to pray fajr. Recently, however,
there was an incident
of robbery
that occurred
at a house close to mine.
If I stay at home,
to pray fajr with my wife, will I
have the same reward as the person that
went to the masjid since I had the
intention
to go, but I couldn't due to fear
of insecurity?
How far is the masjid?
Masjid?
Does he hear the Adan?
So if he hears the Adan and the
Masjid is very close to him,
he should not miss the Jannah,
but he can take the precautions.
Okay?
For example, to have this,
alarm system,
if he can't do that,
his wife should knock the door,
and he should not
stay after the
he should pray and go back
to his house quickly,
But he should not leave the jama'ah
if the masjid is close to him.
This is my advice for him.
Next.
Question from Yes. But you see the prophet
when the blind man came,
and he said, oh, prophet of Allah,
the Medina is full of, reptiles,
snakes, scorpions,
and I don't find anyone to lead me
to the Masiyyid.
Can I pray at home? He said yes.
And when he left, he called them
and asked, do you hear the Adan? He
said yes. He said that, I cannot find
an excuse for you. A blind man. Yes,
Ashley. Ask you the question.
2nd question from the same question. When
taking
a
Juno bath to uplift
major
impurity,
this automatically uplifts the minor impurity as well.
Can
this bath be sufficient for Wudu since the
purpose of the Wudu is to uplift minor
impurities,
or one needs to go through the wudu
procedures
before a wudu can become valid for prayers?
Okay.
The question is, is the bosal, the salah
taking a shower,
is it sufficient
that it will be for both the major
hadith and minor hadith,
major impurity and minor impurity?
If someone took a shower
or jumped into swimming pool or,
into the,
bathtub
and covered all his body with the water,
is that enough?
The answer, yes.
But is this the best? No.
The best is to follow the sunnah,
what the prophet used to do. The prophet,
he would take wudu.
He would wash the
private parts, take
leave the feet, take the shower,
then he would wash his feet.
So this is what most of them should
do. This is the best
the best.
This is the sunnah of the prophet.
And the best guidance
is the guidance of the prophet.
So this is the best, and this one
I advise myself and I recommend my brothers
and sisters to follow this technique, this method.
Take wudu, especially for the janaba.
Lift the feet. Take the shower.
Then wash your feet.
That is the the best practice, insha'Allah.
Is this clear?
Insha'Allah. It is clear, Sheikh.
The next question, assalamu alaikum.
For someone who was involved in accidental killing,
Does he or she have to pay the
blood money in addition to 60 days of
fasting?
Or if he cannot afford the money,
then what should he do? Should he fast?
Yes. The, as you know, the they
said the
the killing of the murder, they're tied.
1, intentional one,
and this is
the.
The killer has to be killed
unless the
the plant owners
forgave.
The second thing, if it is by mistake
by mistake,
You hit him with the stick. Normally, if
you hit someone with the stick or not,
but it happened, man. The man
died.
So this is
only the dia. There's no
dissars
or retaliation.
No dissars.
Only the dia
and the kafal
fasting
2 consecutive months.
So now
so we have.
So
the intentional one,
semi intentional,
and the one by accident.
So the other 2 apart from the intentional
is the kafar and
the, the blood money.
Normally, the blood money
is on the
on the
the tribe or the family or the clan.
K?
But if this happened due to the negligence
of this person, he was over speeding or
doing things like that,
then he has to
pay the
the blood money or the Diya ransom
himself.
If he cannot,
then,
again,
it goes back to the, the
family
to
give the idea
to the
family of the deceased.
Is this clear to the question?
Inshallah, that is clear, Sheikh. We go to
the next question.
Assalamu alaikum Sheikh. May Allah bless you and
save you from all evil. My question
That's the question, but they've given a bit
more information, I think, or this is a
second question related to menses. Okay. I think,
last time we spoke about this, but no
harm.
So
if,
now if she knows
when she will get clean
and she knows the number of days of
the period,
so normally it is maybe 5 days or
6 days or or 7 days.
And after that,
no blood,
no traces of blood.
And not all women, they see the sign
the white sign, not all the women.
Some, they just become dry, no blood, nothing.
If you put the piece of cotton, nothing
comes out.
Then that is a sign that he is
clean now, and he should take a shower
and pray.
K?
So
you know the number of your days,
which you would you normally
leave the salah,
and you just
follow the go by the number of days,
and when the blood stops and there are
no more traces.
And that is a sign of your purity
of your Bahama.
Is this clear to the question?
Yes. Inshallah, the last,
another question here related to the same subject,
perhaps it's covered. Regarding complete dryness,
how long should the dryness persist for a
woman to understand
that her menses has ended and she has
become pure?
Because sometimes at the 8th or 9th day
of her menses,
she is dry
from morning to evening and sees
allo discharge
soon after.
Okay.
So, again, this
is a continuation
of what I have said.
If you see if her sign is diners,
she
the white sign, she doesn't see it.
So this is this woman only
goes by the diners.
So she became dry,
no blood,
no traces of blood, nothing at all.
So now she is clean.
She should take a shower.
One day later, she's seeing yellowish fluid.
That's what,
said.
I think
We
would not consider
the muddy or the yellowish
fluid after the sign of purity, anything.
We've just neglected and ignored it, and yet
we'll do unfair.
So
now you can drive,
and that is the the sign of your
purity, your,
because
your blood stops, and that is normally how
you
your your period goes.
You take a shower and you pay. Anything
after that, you ignore it. You have to
take.
Is this clear to the questioner?
That is clear, Sheikh. The next question,
Assalamu alaikum Sheikh. May Allah reward you with
Jannah for this.
How do we balance between upholding the ties
of kinship and limiting communication
with non Bahram relatives?
Yes. The the
the,
the of
your,
kids and kin.
For example, your,
ankles
on both sides, father and mother, your aunt,
these are the direct ones.
Their children,
they are
a bit distant now.
So
if you visit them,
there's nothing wrong
if you are going now to
visiting your uncle and his children out there.
And how are you? And asking each other
about each other. That's okay. Fine. No problem.
There's no free,
or privacy or or,
or, things like that.
So
that's acceptable.
The same thing on the telephone.
You are calling your uncle, and your son
picked up the phone.
And how are you and how is the
family? That's okay.
What is haram is they have this privacy
between you and the land Mahram because the
prophet
said the third person will be the sheikhan,
the devil.
Is this clear to the question now?
Yes. Inshallah,
Sheikh, that is clear.
And,
they may ask any further questions inshallah if
it's not clear.
Just reading through a bit of a long
message here. Okay.
May Allah preserve you and raise your ranks
in Jannah. A sister has asked me to
circulate her message to fundraise,
and I would like to know if it
is alright to do so.
It seems
he lost his business
and in-depth of £25,000.
If he can't pay off his debts,
he may lose his house.
He's living in which
is his only asset he inherited
from his parents.
Please advise,
and this is the message.
This is the sister's message. I am fundraising
for my maternal uncle who does not have
a solid income after losing his job during
the current pandemic.
He is now struggling to pay his debt,
which is about £25,000.
If he doesn't pay off the debt by
the end of February, he will lose his
house where he's currently living,
and that is the only asset he has.
I am hopeful and praying that Allah, the
almighty, will not put my uncle in such
a situation.
I appreciate any help. Nothing
is too small at the moment. So the
question in summary is is it allowed to
fundraise for such a situation
asking people for donations and contributions?
Yes.
Yes. It is permissible.
A Muslim is in difficult situation, financial ones,
and he is going to be affected
and his family also.
So yes. And this is something,
highly recommended
because here you are going to
help your brother
and whoever
is a situation of a Muslim who is
in difficulty and hardships,
Allah will ease him his situation also.
And Allah loves those who are
there to help their brothers and sisters.
So there's nothing wrong with this.
So go ahead and
and the Muslim
should not hesitate to help. May Allah
ease his situation and may Allah create for
him an outlet and exert from this
situation, I mean, and difficulty.
Okay. So the next question is,
What is the ruling on Valentine's Day?
Can
I sell things like flowers,
though I am not participating
in the celebration?
Can I say happy Valentine's
to my dear ones,
JazakAllah Khid?
Alhamdulillah.
I remind myself and yourselves with this hadith
of the Prophet
when he said 1400
years ago,
The meaning, the prophet said,
you are going to
follow the footsteps
of those who preceded you
Cupid by Cupid,
span by span, Cupid by Cupid.
Even if they enter,
there is it all you would follow them.
We said the Sahara.
You mean the Jews and the Christian? He
said, who else?
So the prophet
said,
the Muslims, a time will come when we'll
be following. They will follow
those who preceded them, the non Muslims,
blindly
and
systematically,
span by span. They move 1 span, we
also go 1 span.
They move 1 cubit, we go 1
cubit. They went to the lizard hole.
You know the lizard hole? No one can
enter.
So it is metaphoric. That means whatever they
do
whatever they do, you follow them. In another
narration, authentic, he said, and if someone of
them
commits
*
With his mother,
you will find from my will do that.
Come to the question.
Valentine's Day.
First of all, it is the feast of
the pagans, the heathens,
the Mushriks,
then
saint Valentine
revived it.
And the
people started
celebrating
this day,
the Valentine,
the day for of the lovers.
So
in Islam,
we don't celebrate anything except
Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha. That's
it.
We do not
celebrate
Christmas or Easter or whatever,
any other feast.
And Valentine's Day is one of them.
So it's totally Haram in Islam
to do that
and not to sell
flowers
and to tell people Happy Valentine Day
or to sell Christmas trees.
Muslims,
on Christmas
you go into a shop owned by Muslims,
they are selling Christmas trees.
When do you know
Historically, what is Christmas?
Has nothing to do
with the birth of a Israeli son.
It is also a feast,
read, of the pagans and the worshipers, the
Romans,
the Christmas.
And when the emperor emperor
Constantine
became Christians,
he was used to celebrate it, put it
into Christianity.
So selling Christmas trees or
telling people merry Christmas is also not allowed.
May Allah guide all the Muslims, army. Is
this clear to the questioner?
Yes.
That is, very clear to all, I believe.
Brothers and sisters and sheikh,
we have reached the end of today's session.
If you'd like to, Insha'Allah, conclude, just a
