that Islam addressed

And today,
another concept
which the Quran
mentions,

hamiyat.
Hamiyat,
actually
for example,
hama
means heated up. Someone is heated up. He's
reacting.
So, normally, that when you heat up and

to defend something
or to support something.
So that is a that reaction is called
chamilla, and it can be
praiseworthy,
and it can be blameworthy.
If it if it that's an action for
the sake of Allah, for
you are getting heated up, angry, upset because
Allah's limits are cost.
Allah's teachings
are disrespected

So this type of hamiyyah
is trustworthy.
But if it is
for the opposite,

supporting your tribe, supporting your clan,
or your community or
because
this person, you are defending him, and you
are heated up, and you are angry
for his sake because he's from your country,

K, those who are motivated by nationalism
and things like that,
this is blameworthy,
hamia.
So okay. So the hamia can be pleasurable
and can be blameworthy.
That's why you will
read in the biographies of the scholars and
the salaf and say,
He has a chamiyyah. He has this spirit
to defend the deed. So that kind of
hamia is no doubt.
But here, the hamia of the people of
Jahiliyyah,
it was not for they don't get upset
and angry and heated up
for the sake of Allah.
No? Because
in all types of jahiliyah,
all types, because now
I hope that the concept of jahiliyah is
clear in the mind of each one of
you.
Jahiliya is a state of mind.
It is this status when you
run your life not in accordance with what
Allah wants.
That simple.
Your life is not run according to what
Allah want. Allah says this you are running
your life the opposite.
What controls your activities,
not the divine guidance,
your whims and desires, and that's the Jahiliya
because
this is pure ignorance.
It is pure ignorance
to leave
the instructions of the all knower,
the all wise, and you follow your own
thoughts and ideas
and fancies.
So this is an issue.
So there were so out of the history
of man,
nations,
they have this Jahiliya.
The moment they become disconnected
and distant
from
the
guidance, divine guidance,
they become ignorant,
and that is Jahiriyah.
And then
instead
of abiding
by the divine guidance,
they invent their own system
because they have to have
set of rules to follow.
So what do they place the divine guidance,
The norms of the society,
of the tribe.
Whatever
the chiefs of the tribe
decide, that is the rule they have to
abide by.
Whatever
the people who are the religious people, tell
them they follow that.
So that
becomes the rule they follow.
The
these rules, though, they have this religious notion,
but they are not exactly
what Allah
sent down.
So they start to worship
Abu Dan Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Instead of abiding by the perfect
guidance,
they follow
another type of guidance according to their understanding

they have to abide by that.

fear of Allah.

saba and taqwa,
Allah said, they will harm you, not the
least.
They cannot harm
you. The
Allah

take care of you
and ward off the evil.

talking. They're conspiring. They're planning
will not harm you the least.
Will not harm you.
Allah knows.

sharia. So the sharia falls under the Insha.

All the things all prophets

noble families,
reviling others,
