on Facebook and YouTube as well.
May Allah
reward you for joining us and sacrificing this
time
in this path and journey to seeking knowledge
with our beloved
Sheikh, Ashir Salim Al Amari.
May Allah bless him, preserve him.
The Sheikh has joined us already.
We can see him on the screen. Alhamdulillah,
the Sheikh
was ahead of time.
And I can see many people are still
joining.
The students should be waiting for their teacher.
And Insha'Allah, please, as we know, brothers and
sisters,
this would be every
Monday Friday
insha'allah. Every Monday
Friday. Monday, we will be going through one
topic,
which is usulu salatha,
the 3 fundamental principles.
And every Friday, we will be going through
another topic insha'allah,
which is, Al Tawah, which is,
the 4 principles
of shirk.
On behalf of Al Haramain
Institute and Quran Schools,
we'd like to welcome you
all, brothers and sisters from all around the
world.
And we thank our teacher, our Sheikh Salim
Al Amri,
who used to bless us with his time
in the UK, masha'Allah, every year.
Doing
like this,
Kitabat Tohid, and many other books we had
studied
with the Sheikh.
Alhamdulillah, we have the means and the mediums
of technology now. I will utilize this
as a way forward to benefit everyone around
the world.
Sheikh needs no big introduction.
Alhamdulillah, he's a world renowned,
scholar, Sheikh, who, holds
holds 2 degrees in engineering,
has obtained knowledge of different sciences of Islam,
including Al Qaeda,
Usul Hadith,
Firth, Taseer, Arabic language, and many other subjects.
And he had studied Masha'Allah and the senior
students of,
Sheikh Nasruddin Albani,
just a few to name, alhamdulillah.
His other teacher teachers included,
Sheikh Abdulbari,
Sheikh
Mohammed bin Aqil, Sheikh Sadush
Salabi,
many, many bashayah,
the Sheikh, alhamdulillah, is is a privilege for
us all brothers and sisters
to have the Sheikh with us to give
his time and go through these
important subjects and texts.
We hope all the brothers and sisters has
a notepad and pen because this is not
a
a talk or a lecture as such. This
is a study circle,
Al Halakah, from your locations.
And you should be taking notes.
Just a few points before I pass to
the sheikh,
to begin, Insha'Allah.
If anyone has questions,
please
message them through only on the Zoom. If
anyone's on Facebook or YouTube and you ask
questions, you will not be responded to.
Zoom is for the interaction side
where we will be monitoring questions
and the Sheikh Insha'Allah
will be
answering them Insha'Allah.
So if anyone's on Zoom with us, please
write your questions down on the chat section
we will inshallah do our best to answer
as many questions as possible. The structure, the
plan of the
Sheikh Insha'Allah
is the first hour to dedicate for the
text. And the second
is for question and answers. However, this is
the Sheikh's lesson
and it is upon the Sheikh how he
decides
to run his class. And we are just,
facilitators,
here to benefit everyone
and with no other aim, or
any gain that we wish inshallah,
other than your duas. And may Allah
bless you all. We
We welcome you, Sheikh. It is a great,
great honor and privilege after such a long
time
to be able to benefit from yourself.
Today, our topic
supposed to be
the 3 fundamentals,
But I feel it is important
and beneficial
to give an introduction
before delving to the topic.
So today, we'll be talking the introduction is
talking about
the importance
of seeking their aid,
seeking knowledge.
Knowledge, my dear brothers, in Islam
occupies a lofty status,
a remarkable musician
in Islam.
Islam, in no time,
turned the nomadic tribes,
the unlettered arts,
into leaders,
into scholars,
into imams,
beacons of light,
because
the knowledge
polishes
the crude character,
the harsh character.
It refines the character.
It brings out the brings out the beauty
of the human being.
So the my dear brothers and sisters is
very, very essential
in the life of the Muslim.
And no wonder
the first revelation
came down
upon the heart of our prophet Muhammad
is deed,
Talking about the end, the knowledge.
So this is the ommah of Ekar.
And the prophet Asseren,
he instilled the importance of Ekar in the
hearts of the Sahaba.
He gathered around him the writers, the scribes,
to work
to
to write the revelation,
and he encouraged the rest to start
learning
so much so
that the waltzam of
the captives,
the prisoners of war, the
would set them free
on the condition that those who know how
to
read a right teach
a Muslim
the right thing,
then he is free.
This shows the significance
of learning in Islam,
the significance
of getting rid of illiteracy.
So
Unfortunately,
today,
there's a great, very hard
of literacy
and ignorance and among the Muslims
who are supposed to be the ummah of
hikra.
Recite in the name of your lord who
created
man from a clinging substance.
Read, recite
in the name of your who
created
created a human being
from this congealed
clotted
piece of blood.
Recite and your lord is the most generous.
Who taught by the
ten. So the ten is very important in
the life of the Muslim
because we have the of.
Islam made it incumbent upon every Muslim,
whether male or female,
to acquire their ilm
and then
impart it to others.
Seeking knowledge, my dear brothers and sisters,
is your way to the jannah.
The seeker of knowledge,
he is taking upon the part of the
Jannah.
He is in a state of rebada.
But even
he is always in state of rebada
by seeking the the knowledge.
So whoever
the prophet
said,
makes the way to
the jannah,
Allah will make the way to the jannah
easy for him
who takes the path in search of knowledge.
In other words, whoever seeks knowledge,
Allah will base the way for him to
the jannah. What else do you want, my
dear
sister? Don't you want to go to the
jannah?
So
seeking the aim, that is your way to
the jannah. It is. It is.
And you know, my dear brothers and sisters,
as we are going to know.
Towards the end of time, Allah takes away
the souls,
takes away
the ulama.
And we have seen it.
The ulama today and the Muslim ummah are
very
few.
Imagine an the ummah without scholars. Who will
lead them?
If you don't roll up your sleeves
and start
taking it very serious
and start
rushing to the ulama,
sitting in their circles,
learning from them before they leave us.
Yes. Before they leave us.
Look for the ulama in your area
and learn from them and study under them.
The knowledge will be only can be only
solved the proper way of seeking the ill
in the circles of the scholars,
not through
shared Google, etcetera.
So the here,
And the people of knowledge,
as you know, my dear brothers and sisters,
what the aim does to you,
it refines your character.
It softens your heart. The aim softens the
heart
and fills it with the fear of Allah.
And the more you learn,
the more you fear Allah
This is
This is the beneficial
knowledge.
The more you acquire
this knowledge, the beneficial one,
the more fear
you have in your heart,
the more righteous and pious you become.
As Allah said,
It's only those who have the knowledge among
his slaves
that fear Allah most.
So who will fear Allah most?
The scholars.
The scholars, they fear Allah
most.
So the knowledge, my dear brothers and sisters,
instills the fear in the heart
and brings you closer
to Allah
The prophet told us, as I mentioned,
now
scholars,
most of them,
they are in advanced stage of age.
So
soon,
they will
respond
to the invitation
and leave us.
And this
what the prophet
warned against.
As in Sahih Imam Bukhari, he said,
one of the signs of the hour
is that the ill, the knowledge
because when you hear the word the it
means
the religious one,
the knowledge of the deen,
not the secular knowledge.
One of the signs of the hour is
that knowledge shall be taken away
and ignorance
shall reign
supreme.
So the knowledge will be taken away by
the death of the scholars.
And those scholars, they didn't have
students after them
because the students
no students were interested
to
inherit the knowledge from the right amount.
There are many scholars.
The Ummah
doesn't know about them.
They are in their homes,
among their books,
only a few people, they know about them.
Our youth, they know about
every
actor and actress,
but they don't know about the scholars
of the
Ummah. So those are when they pass away,
no students
were there
studying under them,
so the knowledge will go along with
them. So this is one of the signs
of the
That knowledge has been taken away,
and if the knowledge is taken away, the
opposite will dominate,
and that is the general. And this is
what we see today.
Ignorance is so rampant
everywhere.
The jahal about the Islam,
about the deed.
He said,
Encouraging us,
encouraging
the
the students of knowledge.
He said,
Whomever Allah
desires
or wishes him what?
He gives him the the
understanding
of the deen.
So and the deen Allah gives it only
to those whom he loves.
The knowledge of the deen
Allah gives it only to those whom he
loves.
The dunya Allah gives it to everyone.
But the deen,
the understanding of the deen,
no.
Because it is so valuable.
So Allah gives this knowledge only to those
whom he loves.
That's why the the the prophet, because
he
loves his cousin, ibn Abbas, he prayed for
him.
He didn't pray
he didn't ask Allah to give him words
to give him his words. No.
He said
Allah This is the sublication,
this is the dua he made
for his Nabas, and Allah responded to that
submication.
So Ibn Abbas became Habral Ummah,
the rabbi
of the Muslim Ummah,
the learned man of the Muslim Ummah
because the prophet paid for him.
Oh Allah, give this
my cousin
the understanding of the deen.
And teach him
the which is the of
the Quran. That's why he's the interpreter of
the Quran, to the man of Quran.
So,
ever Allah wishes him
good desires to favor him, he gives him
the understanding of the deen. Then he continued
by
saying,
he said, I am a distributor.
I am a distributor of the divine knowledge.
I impart the divine knowledge.
I don't hide it.
I impart it to you.
And when he left the dunya, he did
not hide anything.
He conveyed the message entirely
and completely.
I am a distributor of the divine knowledge.
The giver is Allah.
The one who gives the knowledge is Allah.
I'm only distributing it
among you. This is Hadith, Azal al Tik
and Bukhari.
Also, he said to the lie, tell them,
when a person
breathes his last,
when you die,
all your deeds, they cease.
All your deeds.
So all your deeds will cease will stop.
When a person breathes his wrath,
he ceases to do good deeds
with three exceptions.
Adam,
when the son of Adam passes away,
all his deeds
cease, stop.
Except,
The
charity,
which is
continuous,
perpetual.
The utility of that charity is perpetual.
See, my dear brothers and sisters,
many of you now, this moment, they are
still young.
And believe me, in no time, just like
that, within a blink of an eye,
you will become old
like me.
Yesterday, I was playing in the village.
Today,
almost dead.
Time runs so quick.
So think about what will do doing something
that I will benefit
when I am in my trade.
So the knowledge from which people will will
be
benefiting
will derive benefit.
So you learn the deed
and then you impart it
and you teach it to others
and you leave students behind.
You are in your grave and you are
getting
Hasanat.
And whenever your name is mentioned, they make
dua for you.
And those students,
they are students.
They become scholars.
And all the the rewards of them is
there in your record
because you are the one who taught them,
and you are the one who left this
beneficial
knowledge
behind.
The knowledge from which benefit continues to be
derived.
This is the third one.
Your offspring,
your children,
you brought them up Islamically.
You brought them up
upon the teaching of the Quran and the
sunnah.
So when you are in your grave, they
are paying for you.
They're making dua for you.
The supplication
of the pious off
Apart from that,
nothing will reach you.
Then he said, so will Hashem,
as in soon an imam tell me the
he said, and this is Hassan, Hadith,
he who troubles to seek
He who troubles, whoever
troubles to seek He
is in fact striving in the path of
Allah.
He's in the state of yirad
till he returns.
Until he returns, he is in the state
of yirad. He's a mujahed.
He's a mujahed.
And the scholars in the past,
some of them, they left their countries
for 10 years, 20 years, 30 years,
40 years.
And the journey of Babi ibn Maklal is
long.
And he left from
Indonesia
to Baghdad to study
under
Imam Ahmed. And when he reached Baghdad,
Imam Ahmed was under home arrest.
So no study circles.
So what to do?
So he's thought of a trick.
He disguised himself.
He put
on shabby clothes, like to look like a
beggar,
and he would go because
the house of Imam Ahmed is
watched.
Yeah. He's under home arrest.
So the policemen are watching.
Who is visiting him?
But this is a beggar, so he knocks
the door.
So when Imam Ahmed, the Versailles,
opened, he thought he's a beggar.
But he told him the story, to cut
it
short. But Imam Ahmed told him, I cannot
teach you.
I'm not allowed.
You know my situation.
He said, but I came from Andoricia,
from Al Andalus.
Imam Ahmed told him, okay.
Every day you come like this, like a
beggar,
and say
something for the sake of Allah. Give me
something,
and the servant will open the door for
you and go inside.
And I will leave your to you, and
you leave immediately
so no one will suspect.
And he was doing that
for a long time
until Imam Ahmed was permitted and gave the
was giving the permission to go back to
Uzis Bari De Salqam.
So the students of Noli, they they left
their home
countries
for learning the deen.
That's how Allah
my dear brother's respect that. He protected the
deen by men,
real men,
who sacrificed.
We believe that by a previous
biographies.
We believe.
You belittle yourself. You believe you have nothing.
What have you done for your deen?
We are running only after the dunya.
What have you done for the deen?
Those they
used
it. Many of them, they said, when you
read,
I I encourage and invite all of you,
students of knowledge,
if you want your heart to soft to
be summoned
and to
your
lofty aspirations
to be
increase your himna.
Read in by
Imam Ghali.
I see
the of
the of the scholars
of Islam.
Many of them
said,
I have drunk my urine many times
while troubling
seeking the ink.
Out of thirst, I'm drinking my urine urine.
Because they realize they are in the jihad.
This is the form of jihad
to protect the deen. Who will protect the
deen?
Only the ulama.
Who will abuse the false allegations
against Islam, the ulama?
No. They're ignorant.
The media see the media.
Do they invite rurama to ask them questions?
No.
But they bring the ignorant in the prime
time,
the extremists in the prime time,
those who do not know the deen
to help the media to
give negative image. They will not
invite a Muslim scholar
who will clarify
and dissipate the misconceptions and clarify the misconceptions.
They will never do that
because they know
the scholars,
they will defend this one.
So he who told us to seek the
knowledge is in fact thriving in the path
of Allah
until he returns.
And the students of Noli, my dear brothers
and sisters,
knowledge is is
an act of worship.
Seeking knowledge is an act of worship.
So you need to purify your intention,
and you seek it for the pleasure of
Allah
and Allah on you.
In this regard, our beloved prophet Muhammad says,
he who does not acquire knowledge with the
sole intention
of seeking the pleasure of Allah
and does not impart it for the partly
gains of the world
would not smell the odor or apologize on
the day of resurrection.
What does it mean? He's saying,
he who do does not acquire the knowledge
for the sole intention of seeking Allah's pleasure.
So he's not seeking the knowledge
to get Allah's pleasure and to get Allah's
reward,
but he's seeking the knowledge
for worldly benefits,
for fame, for celebrity.
Oh, he's
a die.
Very influential die. No one shall die. So
that is his motive.
So Allah
will punish him
on the day of his rakim.
He will not smell the fragrance
of the jannah.
He will not enter the jannah.
Though the people
he has
I hate this word. Fans fans.
Follow us.
Don't be fooled by the number.
There are prophets who will come on the
day of objection with no one.
So that number doesn't mean anything
if you don't fear Allah
and you don't have the ta'uah in your
heart.
This number of followers
could be for
you. Remember always, my dear brothers and sisters,
what the
said,
that you will not reach the level
of the real fire strike of people,
the until
both
parties to you are the same,
The ones who praise you and the ones
who criticize you
doesn't make any difference.
The one who says,
wow, you are this and that, makya Allah,
and the other you are saying, you are
horrible.
It's the same
Because you know yourself and Allah knows.
What matters, my dear brothers and sisters,
is what Allah
wants from me.
How can I make Allah pleasing me? That's
it.
You should focus only on that.
So that's why seeking Dail, my dear brothers
and sisters,
seeking Dail is the Ibadah,
so purify your heart.
And keep always praying and kind to Allah
to help you to maintain
that purity,
the novelty,
the motive
that you are seeking
for the sake of Allah.
And believe me, my dear brothers and sisters,
If you are that sincere,
Because
we
have
life stories,
living story,
life examples.
I'll give you just just one now I
remember it,
which is our chair,
He studied in Dar es Salania.
And when he in Hadid, when he finished,
he went to Yemen
to his
place,
Saga,
which is now the place where those root
is up.
And he started the dower there.
And he faced a lot of opposition,
a lot of obstacles.
Because early students were you can't teach us
who are teaching in the schools, that they
were the students.
And one of the early students
of Sheikh Muqbib is now Sheikh Muqbib al
Hadiwi who was an Egypt, the Muqaddib,
and others.
1 of those
students, he told me personally.
He said one day, Sheikh Mohammed was in
his,
library writing writing, then the fell fell down
because of hunger. No food.
So they told him, Sheikh,
please,
you have you are educated, you have a
degree,
You can teach in Sonar University,
where you can have salary, and then you
save money, and then you,
do the and build the center, etcetera.
He was reluctant to share.
But his students, they were insisting.
He said, I'll pray.
So he prayed.
The next day, they said, oh, sure. You
prayed?
He said, yes. And I had
They said, what did you see in the
in the dream?
He said, I saw my neck growing,
going up
like a tree, getting longer and longer, my
neck.
And then I took a scissors and tie
and started
to cut my
my my neck.
And they asked him, what is the interpretation
according to your under to you?
He said,
the scissors is the certificate.
If I go and start be,
rec get recruited in the university,
I will cut my neck and the tower
will finish.
So I will not. I will continue
enduring
the poverty,
the hunger,
and the suffering.
And he continued.
And guess what?
The whole
area
became
followers of Kitab and Sunnah.
Students
from all over the world will from Europe,
from America,
from Asia flocking
to him
because of that loss.
You have the sincerity
in your heart?
Allah puts the barakah.
So purify
your intention, my dear brothers and sisters.
May Allah grant us the
in seeking the knowledge.
Because my dear brothers and sisters,
The one who is
learning the deed
is superior to the habit.
Is superior to the abbot.
The prophet said
he said the learned
is superior to the worshiper.
Wherein they allow his angels,
heavenly and earthly creatures, even ants in their
homes,
and fish all pray for the teacher,
who teaches people
goodness
and virtue.
So the status of the alim,
it is so lofty,
And everything prays for him.
Everything in the duniya
prays for the alim.
The Malaika make dua for the alim
for the one who's taking the knowledge.
The inhabitants of heaven,
the creatures on the earth, even the ants
in the holes,
the fish in the ocean
all paid for the teacher.
The one who teaches them the the goodness.
Status of the scholars in Islam.
The scholars, my dear brothers and sisters in
Islam,
they are actually.
They are.
When Allah says
obey Allah and obey the messenger, and those
who have the authority,
they are the scholars
first,
then the rulers.
Because the rulers, they have to listen to
the
They are those who know
equal to those
who know
not. Of course, they are not equal.
It is only many of our understanding who
will remember
the the lessons from Allah's science and aya.
So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, this is Surah
Al Jumal I9.
So it's telling us, are those
who
know
equal to those who do not know?
So we have to respect our.
We have to give them their due respect.
If you don't respect the ulema, the prophet
said, he is not from us.
The one who doesn't get our scholar his
due respect is not from us.
So if you belittle the scholars or if
you ridicule the scholars or if you make
cracking jokes about the scholars,
prophet said he, whoever does that, he is
not from us.
He's not from
of whom?
The the inheritance of the province.
The
scholars are the prophets' heirs
and inheritors.
And verily, the prophets did not bequeath
Adiraam or Adiraam.
The prophets and messengers, they did not bequeath
and
leave behind they did not leave behind a
dirham or dinar.
Well, no.
But they bequeath
knowledge.
What they left behind
is the end, the knowledge.
So whoever takes it
is indeed
very fortunate.
So that's why you have to respect them.
This is authentic hadith
and voted by Imam Ahmed, Imam Abu Dawood,
and Ibrahim Nadia.
So that's why you have to respect the.
Yes. Of course, the scholars are not
masoomin
invaluable.
They make mistakes,
but you have to respect them
because they are
the heirs.
If the scholar made a mistake, he said,
this is a mistake. He's a human being.
But this doesn't mean
we'll start talking about him,
criticizing
him
in our circles,
when we are sitting together with each other.
We are cracking jokes about him.
No.
He's not from us. Remember the hadith.
So the are the heirs, the of them
we are. You
have to inspect the
And Allah
if you are
showing enmity
or hostility
towards the scholars,
then you are in big trouble.
Imam Bukhari reported
that Allah said,
Whoever
hates
any of my,
my friends,
I will declare war
whoever shows hostility to them.
I wage war. Allah is saying
telling whoever
fights and hates
Allah's
Our
wages war.
And the As you don't you know?
Also, he said,
he's not one of us who neither respect
our elders.
The elders, we have to respect them.
Those who grew up in Islam
have gray hairs in Islam,
we have to give them the your rights.
We have to respect them.
And when we address them, we talk to
them politely
with
respect.
He is not one of us who neither
respects our elders
nor loves
our young ones,
the truth,
and does not know the value of our
scholars
the value of our scholars.
This is reported by Imam Ahmed
and his Muslim.
Imam Al Hakim and his.
So you'll see Sahih and Sahih Al Gaaba
authenticated
by
our
has
the 5,423
3.
That's
what I said.
Because
many Muslims today,
the
are the peers.
The are the ones who are doing,
performing
satanic tricks
like charlatans.
The ones who
walk on charcoal, hot charcoal,
or on water,
or hit themselves with iron
bars.
There are those that we have
in the
minds of many Muslims.
Sheikh Abu Bakr al Jaira
said,
if you land in any Muslim country
and in the airport you ask the taxi
driver
and you tell the taxi driver, I want
to visit
a
in your country.
Immediately, he will take you to a mausoleum,
to a tomb, to a grave.
That is the understanding
of who is the will the willy is.
So all the are under the ground. No
one is living.
This is the mentality of many Muslims.
But listen to the scholars of Islam what
they are saying about giving what is this
definition of.
And my said,
the scholars
are Allah's.
So the
of Allah are the
If they are not,
then I know no.
If the scholars are not
I don't
know. So the scholars are.
And when you are fighting Allah's
Aliyah,
and when you are fighting the Muslim scholars,
then prepare
yourself
for a war with
him.
And if Allah wages war against you, you
are a loser.
You are a loser.
You cannot defeat
The ulama, my dear brothers and sisters,
indeed, they are the ones who maintain
the ummah,
the security of the ummah, the stability of
the community,
the same thing, the community,
the.
So if you are fighting the
or stopping them from reaching the masses,
what will happen?
The youth?
The youngsters?
They become the out
and they are ignorant,
and they do
horrible things as we can see.
They do things,
yes, out of enthusiasm,
but they're ignorant.
They don't know the consequences.
So who would channel
channel
the the youth
in the proper way
and guide them
and control this
strong motive,
strong motive and impulse. Who is our lemmah?
The lemmah are the ones who are going
to maintain
the stability of the community
and the security within the community.
So the scholars are as
Inarq Shafa said. They are not then I
know no
of Allah.
So we have to respect our
my dear brothers and sisters,
learn from them,
attend their study circles,
respect them,
and give them their due rights.
And not to talk evil about them.
Don't talk evil about the other one.
If you saw a scholar made a mistake,
right,
piece of advice,
either to him or you if you cannot
go and see him on Facebook,
but not in public,
not on the media,
social media.
Because
The scholar's
flesh is poisonous,
Metaphorically, of course, he's saying because when you
backbite the island, you are eating his flesh.
Reba, backbiting,
you are eating the flesh of your brother.
Now you are eating the flesh of a
scholar.
He said this flesh
is poisonous.
It's full of poison.
You will die.
This will affect your imam.
The flag the scarlet flag is poisonous,
and Allah's habit in carrying down the honor
of those who talk evil about them is
known.
If you talk about the Rudama
in an evil manner,
the consequences are known.
There are a lot of examples of those
who talk about the dilemma, and now what
is happening? You can see
what's happening to them.
Because this is a fact. And
Allah's way, Allah's sunnah,
in exposing those who talk about the hulama
is known,
and Allah's habit in tearing down.
Allah
exposed you,
and he tears down your honor
of those who talk evil about them is
known.
And whoever belitteth them, the ulama, whoever belitteth
the ulama,
then Allah ablects him.
What will happen to you if you are
talking about the scholars?
And whoever belittles them, Allah
afflicts him with hardness in his heart
prior to his death.
Allah afflicts you with the death of your
heart.
You have death
dead heart,
hardness in your heart
before you die.
Instead of heart softness?
Instead of having
a man?
No.
Because all your lifetime,
only talking,
backbiting,
slandering.
The reference.
Now my dear brothers and sisters,
let us delve
to the manners of the students of knowledge.
Nobility
of intention.
This
so the first thing that you should have
as a student of knowledge, one of the
ada ada.
See, my dear brothers and sisters,
if you want Allah to give your ill,
have adab and manabs.
Adab and manabs.
This is the way of our forefathers.
The first thing they teach the students, the
adam.
The adam.
Many of you,
they know the Hadith of Gibril who came
in the form
of a tablet,
and he sat to the
putting his hands and his thighs,
asking questions,
the Hari's of Ghibli.
So the students of knowledge, that's how he
sits in the circle of his chair, lowering
his gaze, lowering his voice,
not arguing with the share in the circle,
not mentioning the opinion of somebody else, another
share in the circle.
They are manners.
They are adults.
The mother of Iman Malik,
she would tie the turban on the head
of Imam Malik when he was very young,
and she would tell her son, go to
Abia,
Abia, Dubai,
and study from his manners first before his
knowledge.
Learn from his manners.
So
has the same,
has this
Adam.
So when you see,
you recognize
this is part of envy.
He's a cheerful person,
smiling,
humble,
well mannered,
down to earth.
This is the manners of valuable end,
because the end, my dear brothers and sisters,
is
a bada.
So the among the manners of parliament,
the first thing is the across
the nia.
Novelty of the near, the intention.
Our prophet said,
and this is very important,
and the hadith
is.
They
said,
do not acquire
knowledge.
Do not seek the knowledge in order to
compete with the scholars,
nor to argue with the ignorant,
nor to gain mastery
over the gatherings,
since whoever does that, then the fire, the
fire.
Let us reflect upon this,
and then we'll start each other taking your
questions.
Because the topic
is vast,
and we need to
finish it, Insha'Allah,
if you want me to finish it
in the coming
circle.
He said, so I tell them,
do not acquire the
So do not acquire the
in order to compare to the scholars.
Yes. I'm now studying the in. I'm going
to Ghana, Swami, and
it's probably there,
5, 6 years.
And then I go back to my country,
and now I'm a scholar. Give me the
platform.
And then become.
Cool
down.
You know the say,
seeking the aim is This is the span.
So seeking the aim
The first span,
when you start learning the deed,
you become arrogant.
You feel that you
oh my god. People, they are they don't
know anything about the deal. I know about
it.
So you are just on the shore
in the first span of this as if
you are going to the sea.
First of all, the water started hitting your
feet.
And now you feel,
you know, everything.
This is very dangerous phase phase 1.
If you remain lingering there, you will be
ruined
because you are ignorant and you think you're
not, and you don't know that you don't
know.
If you advance and move
so the first phase maybe 2 years, 3
years,
then you move.
Now 4 years, 5 years,
you start to cool down.
Say, oh my god.
Knowledge is not what I thought of.
It is an ocean.
When you go deeper,
stage 3,
you start laughing
about yourself.
You start oh my god. I was fooling.
What I used to say?
I'm not having. I'm not having. You start
realizing
the reality of yourself.
So when you graduate from Shari or college
or when you that is only the beginning.
When you get your PhD,
that's only the beginning.
That will make your alarm.
Know your limits.
You are always in the beginning.
Now
you are
having the tools.
You can open the books and you will
understand why the ulama differ, why this, why
that.
That will not make you a scholar or
imam
so that you can start criticizing
and
have the Muslim scholars
over the last
14 generations,
14 years,
100 years.
Muslims were mistaken, and now you start you
realize
you are the one. You are the savior.
To save the Muslim Ummah.
The Muslim Ummah for the last 1400
years ago
years, they were mistaken.
They were in total darkness.
Come on,
Wake up.
Come to your senses.
Don't let the shaitan play with you.
Your intellect cannot be
you cannot be more intelligent
than the Muslim scholars who passed for the
last,
1400
years.
So you need to
humble yourself and come down to
earth.
This Sheikh, this Iran.
That's why he deserve the title, Sheikh Islam.
They say when he's lecturing,
all the sciences are in front of him.
If he's talking about the state, he's saying
he's a Mufasa.
If he's about hadith, he's saying he's only
Muhammed.
If he talks about the language, he's a
linguist.
If he's talking about theology, he's only theologian.
In his circle,
you find all different types of people
all in his circles. Even the non Muslim
Jews are Christians.
He was an ocean.
And yet,
when I read this really, I said,
he said,
I discussed the matter,
and they come across an issue,
50 issue.
And they study all
the
hadith and the ayat regarding it, and they
come to the conclusion
and they form my own understanding
and opinion
based on my study,
then I stopped.
And I asked myself,
oh,
has anyone before you
said this opinion,
came with this opinion before you?
Those who preceded you?
Oh, you are smarter than all of them.
Then he said,
I fear,
and they leave that issue, that matter.
If this is a maintainer,
So always, my dear brothers and sisters,
when you are seeking,
you should have this
and always be humble.
Always be humble
and ask Allah
to increase your humility.
You'll not acquire knowledge in order to compete
with the scholars,
nor to argue with the ignorant
that you are acquiring the knowledge for the
sake of arguing with the.
Yahil,
what can you do? I said, Naha Ali
said. Naha Ali said,
if I debate you the scholar, I will
win the debate.
But if I debate you than anyone to
the fore,
he will win it.
He will defeat me. And, ignorant, what can
he do? He doesn't know what you are
talking about.
Not to argue with the ignorant.
So when the fools start to provoke them,
they say peace.
They don't lower themselves to the level of
the fools.
As a wise man wants to ask was
asked,
how did you become wise?
How did you become wise?
He said the fools made me wise, the
fools.
He said how? He said, whenever I saw
someone is doing something foolish,
I tell myself
I should not have this quality.
So I get rid of that quality.
So over time, I got rid of all
the
vices, all the bad habits.
So that's how I became
wise.
The fools made me wise.
Not to argue with the ignorant,
not to gain mastery over the gathering. This
is another sickness,
gaining mastery
over the gatherings,
invitation from everywhere.
And you have secretary
who is
organizing
the booking.
People are calling. Can we have the chef
to give a a talk?
Let me see. He's busy.
Yes. There is a slot,
but,
the share has, you know,
certain
conditions
or prerequisites.
They should stay in 5 star hotel.
It should,
fly, 1st class.
It should,
the car that fix him out from the
airport is
this type of car?
Oh,
What is happening?
Is this the students of Nadi, is this
the ulema in Islam?
Who making it difficult
for the people to learn from them?
Because now they are at the prestige.
My dear brothers and sisters,
we need to purify our hearts.
And the Dua
the Dua is rebada.
It's not commerce.
It's not business.
It is actually, you have to be grateful.
You have to be grateful
if
you manage
to share your money with others. Be grateful
to Allah and thank Allah and cry to
Allah and let Allah accept your honor.
Not to argue with the ignorant,
not to gain mastery over the gatherings.
Okay?
Here's the,
in the,
on the stage among the panelists,
and
he's trying to impress everyone.
My advice on myself, when I am talking
now to you, my dear brothers and sisters,
I'm talking to myself.
So
when you are in such gatherings,
always keep checking your heart, my dear brothers
and sisters.
Checking this heart.
And keep praying and asking Allah
to save you from the evil of yourself.
Nor to gain mastery over the gatherings
since whoever does that
and now know.
Then the fire is a fire,
which means what?
Your abode will be.
Yes.
Well, I'm a citizen of knowledge. I am
share.
You did not do it for me.
You did not do that for my sake.
Take him. Him.
The
first people today, 3 types of of categories
of people will be the first batch
to the hellfire.
The scholars, the recital,
and the shahid,
those will be the first
to go to *.
Why?
Because
they did not
seek the aim for Allah's
Adam,
A scholar, but he did not
re benefit from his knowledge,
did not derive benefit from the knowledge he
has.
He will be panicked,
cast to *
before the worshipper of the idol.
May Allah save us
from going astray.
May Allah purify our intention.
May Allah
grant us the beneficial knowledge,
and may Allah
give us,
remain steadfast on this beautiful deen
till we meet him, and he is pleased
with all of us. Ameen.
And may Allah reward all of you, my
dear brothers and sisters, for your patience and
attendance.
And the importance as well as the manners
for a student of knowledge
before we dwell deep into the
subjects
of
us,
on Mondays and
Al Kawahidul Arba
on Fridays.
We have some questions that have come in.
We will, insha'Allah,
begin with
one of the first ones that has come.
Shekuna,
this sister is asking,
nowadays there are many who claim to be
Shiyuk.
It's quite confusing. How do we distinguish
who is a real scholar and who is
not?
What are the distinguishing qualities?
That's her first question.
Okay. Let's yeah. Let's just take the question
one by 1,
Insha'Allah.
And, also, I would like to, just remind
the questioner,
avoid mentioning names.
Don't mention names in your questions. Try to
put it in the 3rd person question.
What is my dear brothers and sisters when
it comes to this question? Who are the
the scholars? Who are the students of knowledge?
The,
the
the the scholars
of, many,
or at least advanced students of knowledge.
So this,
student is upon the Kitab and Sunnah,
upon the
the right
upon the
methodology
of the
3 generations,
the correct
of and
he gives the evidence
from the and
and which is aligned with the understanding
of the
majority, the mainstream of Muslim,
then there's no harm,
from learning from this brother, from this
students of knowledge of this state.
But if this,
this,
students of knowledge, what he's saying is in
contradiction
with the mainstream
of the what the Muslims are upon,
then there must be a question mark.
And you need to,
refer to those
scholars whom you know and you trust in
your area
and learn from them.
For example, in, you have,
in, in the UK, you have Sheikh Haytan,
you have Sheikh Sohei. We have,
Michelle is there.
Ask them.
Is this clear to the customer?
I believe it is clear and.
The second question is,
as a sister,
what is your advice, Shaul? Because we do
not have many female
scholars.
What is your advice in a sister wanting
to pursue seeking knowledge?
I told you that nowadays, there are,
many,
colleges online,
salary
online.
They can register.
Or if she can,
travel
with the and both of them are studying,
like, in Medina or in
in Egypt to what wherever.
That's fine. Otherwise, they,
either the
colleges or or maybe
there in her place,
she will find there are centers of learning
where she can start learning.
Sheikh Assalamu alaikum. I suffer from a great
deal of bad thoughts
regarding Allah,
and they are really evil.
I always feel like a kafir every time
I get this kind of thoughts. I get
mentally exhausted
because of this. Is Allah angry with me?
Kindly advise.
May Allah
first of all save you from this satanic
whisper. This is the satanic whispers.
This is satanic whispers.
And,
that is what the shaitan does.
The shaitan, he only whispers,
into the minds and the heart of the
believer.
And even he came to the Sahara
came to the Sahara.
And the Sahara came to the pop star
settlement state, oh, prophet of Allah,
we
have feelings
of those.
We cannot even
mention them.
It is better for one of us to
be thrown from a high building
rather than having such thoughts.
And the prophet said,
heard that from them. He said, have you
found that?
They said, yes. He said, that is salikhil
iman.
That is indeed
the crux of the iman.
That is a sign of strong iman you
have, so the jaytan is trying to whisper.
And because you have the iman, you realize
immediately that this is satanic.
And then he told them that the shaitan
comes to each one of you, and he
asked him, Oha,
who created this? Who created this? Who created
that?
Until he asked you who creates Allah.
Then the prophet
said, when you
reach that, say, I believe
in Allah, and you read
So
my dear sister or brother,
don't worry. This is satanic whispers.
Get rid of them.
Read Suraj al Ikhlas.
Read them,
and learn the
because
the my dear brothers and sisters,
can either come to you through,
desires,
lust, or
which is the case here,
doubts.
So what is the remedy and the cure
for the,
the desires?
The iman, the.
And the remedy and cure for the,
doubts is.
By learning the deen,
you
work off these
satanic thoughts.
Mister Palmer, I will come to you.
Who created Allah?
This is childish
question.
This is a wrong question.
Who created
Allah?
You are saying who created the creator?
It's not a question.
A creator cannot be created.
So the question is wrong.
Allah is the creator of everything.
And he is the first and he is
the last,
and he created us.
Because either, my dear brothers and sisters,
that
win,
We talk about our existence.
We are
created,
or we created ourselves,
or we created by nothing,
Oh, we are created by someone?
Did we create ourselves? No.
Did we come from nothing? No.
Nothing gives nothing. So what remains? That we
are creator
created
by creator.
We are created by creator.
Then when we Satan asked you who created
that creator,
this is a wrong question. He's the creator.
He cannot be created
Because he's the person who's the last.
Because the origin
is the existence of the creator.
Either
origin,
existence of the creator or the nonexistence
of the creator. What are the 2?
If we say the origin is nonexistence
of a creator,
no creator, then this means there should not
be creation.
No creator. No creation.
But there is a creation. This proves
that there is a creator.
So the origin
is the existence of the creator.
The creator.
Is the first, the last.
The alpha and the omega, as the bible
says.
Because if we say there is no god,
no creator, there cannot be creation
in the first place. But now there is
a creation
which proves there is a creator and he
is the first and the last. So
the shaitan comes
only with your wish list.
So you have the
that's how you can protect yourself from such,
satanic whispers, from sat satanic thoughts.
So my advice for you is to get
closer to Allah.
Always maintain.
Always maintain
your salah, pray on time in the masjid
if you are a man.
Always,
read the Quran.
Keep your tongue busy in the zikr because
the dikr will give life to your heart
and bring this peace into your heart.
May Allah
increase our iman and your iman, and may
Allah save you from these satanic thoughts,
Ami.
Questioner is asking, there are some people who
say we do not need to go to
the messiah to learn,
and we can learn directly from the books.
What,
are is your opinion and your advice about
this?
That's why I said the topic today
is vast, and they haven't covered much of
it.
There are things
there.
Students of knowledge, they need to understand this.
If you
just want to say I will open the
books and understand the deal, you will not
learn the deal.
And that is not the way how
the dean should be understood and should that's
how or the dean how
or the way that you learn your dean.
No.
Because you will make a lot of mistakes.
A lot.
So that's why when you study under the
chair,
you save time,
and you avoid making blunders mistakes
in your understanding.
Tell me now. Tell me. How you will
understand
the the double r
without
knowing Arabic
and mastering Arabic
and without
knowing that I read.
Even if you are a linguist
and you did not study the Tajweed, you
will not read the Quran correctly.
So the deen has to be learned
in the way the Sahaba studied the deen
and the Muslim generations
over 1400 years ago. Students, they study with
the
with the. Just to have your own library
and open the books,
that will not make your.
Believe me, that will not make your.
And many
brothers who are following this methodology,
you find that they are their foundation
is shaking.
They are not massive. They are not firm
in the end.
The aim is not to go and open.
No. No.
No. You should know the foundations
first
in order to understand the hadith of the
prophet.
You might read the hadith, and the hadith
is obligated.
Hadith is obligated. It is a mohari.
How can you practice this obligated Hadith?
So you need to study under the.
Is this clear to the questioner?
No,
so there's another question here.
Assalamu alaikum Sheikh. May Allah bless you and
reward you for your efforts.
Amin, I wanted to mention a matter that
sometimes depresses
me and makes me feel bad
or anxious.
I'm a mother of 2, Alhamdulillah.
So sometimes when I start with seeking knowledge,
listening to lectures, or doing classes online,
I try being
in a flow.
But due to household
and children's responsibility,
there comes a pause. Sometimes weeks after weeks,
and I fail or lack behind.
This makes me so depressed sometimes that I
think I'm actually
wasting time and not doing anything to seek
knowledge
to be able to serve the dean. What
should I really do in such a case
so that I don't feel bad about my
situation was was?
So after that, maybe
I'm a sinner
or not better to have the bounty of
knowledge. What is your advice, Sheikh?
You try your best. Try to organize your
time.
Try to organize your day.
So if you organize yourself, you'll find time
for the daily chores,
for the kids,
and you'll find time,
for your deen.
Even if it is little,
Allah will bless it,
but you need to organize yourself.
And it is natural, my dear brothers and
sisters,
that the iman
goes up and down. Natural.
But there is a minimum level we have
to maintain,
because sometimes we feel we are active
and then a time comes where we become
inactive.
This is natural. That's what the prophet Saran
told us about.
So you should not start accusing yourself or
suspecting that maybe I have nifa, maybe this
or that. That is these are also satanic
whispers.
So always we have to seek Allah's help
and seek also
one has to surround himself
with good circle of brothers and sisters.
This is very important
for
to be
encircled and have around him
good brothers and good sisters,
encouraging each other.
So when you become
weak
or you have lack of interest, others, they
boost your morale and encourage
you. So we should not despair, and we
should not give up.
And a Muslim is always optimistic,
and he's always in the state of win
win,
always.
And
the Ibaga getting closer to Allah and
the and
will always keep you in the state
of,
always.
So always keep you busy in the and
you will see the impact soon in your
heart and in your iman.
May Allah please our iman and your iman.
Amin. Amin. JazakAllah says sheikh.
Just to let the brothers and sisters know,
these sessions are all recorded. Inshallah, we'll record
every session. So if anyone feels that they're
falling behind,
watch the session before the next one. It's
always advised to join the live sessions. Don't
just depend on the recorded.
However, you may catch up, inshallah, by viewing
the recordings if for any reason something comes
up and you're not able to join the
live.
Shekhana, a follow-up
by another sister, however, related to the last
question.
Can a sister delay her marriage in order
to pursue knowledge?
If she's married, she has to take care
of her husband
and children,
which will hinder her studies.
My advice? No.
The sooner, the better to get married.
This is my advice for my sisters.
And
after getting married,
you can also,
capture the knowledge and learn your deed. Never
ever delay the marriage
because
you have limited number of years.
Not yeah. A woman is not like the
man.
When you reach 40,
motherfolds.
You cannot have children.
That's why in some countries I read,
now there are banks for the ex, for
the.
Because women, they want to build their career,
and she they know.
Later on, they cannot have children,
so they go and they store their eggs
in the bank,
and later on, they can get use them.
Because every month, you lose one egg.
So
you reach a time when you are the
stock is 0.
So
if you are in your age,
now you are 18,
you have to get married
or 20
so that you can have children,
You can bring them up.
And
the scholars female scholars in throughout Islam, they
were married having children.
Wait. They're having children, married.
So the marriage will not stop you from
learning your deen,
and Allah will facilitate it. Allah will make
it easy if you have their class. Allah
will make it easy for you. This is
a fact.
You should not doubt it.
So my advice with my sisters,
get married.
So when
a suitable
brother
comes,
don't say no.
Don't say no.
Accept.
May Allah bless you
all
and make it easy for all of you,
both brothers and sisters, to get married, Amin.
Next question.
Next question.
What is your best advice for a person
like myself,
a revert to Islam who just started the
journey of seeking knowledge?
My advice for you, sister, first of all,
that Allah
brought you back to the deen of and
you are better than many of those who
are born Muslims.
Why? Because all your sins are washed away
when you became a Muslim.
So your record is wide slate,
very clean.
Learning the deen, take it easy. No rush.
And this is my advice for all of
you.
The knowledge is a long process.
Acquiring knowledge is accumulative process.
You cannot
have the knowledge overnight.
Just to take its cycle.
So take it easy, little by little.
So my advice for the reverse sisters who
reverted to Islam,
try to learn the the Arabic
so that you can read the Quran.
Learn Arabic so that you can read the
Quran.
The first priority for the book of Allah
the Quran.
Then what is essential for you to know
how to pray correctly,
how to fast correctly,
how to give your zakah if you,
have wealth,
how to perform, the pillars of the spa,
and then the the pillars of iman.
So take things
easily,
gradually,
and be systematic.
The problem with many of the students of
knowledge, they are not systematic.
And this is the problem when they are
not to study under
mashaikh.
Oh, I take this book.
Then I would
I read few pages. No. Not this one.
This and you'll find
and I'm sure many of you that are
laughing now,
maybe,
because this is the reality.
He picked this book, hit a few pages,
then closed it, then another book, then another
book.
He didn't finish one book. Or she she
or he or she?
No.
You have to go
systematic. You have to put a plan for
you.
1 year,
3 years, 3 years, 5 years, what I
want to be.
And you go systematically.
And the,
they have,
written list of
a
a sort of curriculum
available on the next for money.
You can choose anyone that you suits you,
but we have to take it easy,
slowly but surely,
and gradually.
Is this clear to the question
now?
I believe it's clear, Sheikh,
next question is,
how do we prioritize
on knowledge?
Is seeking in in Islamic knowledge
more important
than seeking
knowledge of the dunya such as accounting, etcetera?
How do we prioritize
and give importance to the right places?
Well, in Islam, you see the beauty of
Islam, my dear brothers and sisters. There's no
dichotomy
between the religious knowledge and the secular knowledge.
No dichotomy.
When you read the biographies of the scholars
of Islam,
you see that they were businessmen.
You know, Baha'i was the businessman.
Many.
They were businessmen. Scholars of Hadith and Bizdahl
is the businessman.
Saidna Abu Bakr was a businessman.
So in in Islam, the duniya and the
akhir, they go together. They go together.
But we need to strike the balance.
We need to strike the balance.
Not we are neglecting
learning our deen
and just focusing and spending hours
most of the hours of the day and
not even one hour for the deal.
So you need to strike the balance.
You can't
be you can't be an engineer and parliament.
You can't be a doctor and parliament.
And when you read the of the scholars
of Islam, you find them they were mathematicians,
mathematicians,
logicians,
Jewish,
name it.
So
our deen is so beautiful.
Not that cut to me. Either this or
that. No.
Both. You can have both of them.
Is this clear to the question now?
Beautifully answered,
Assalamu alaikum,
Sheikh.
If a scholar is preaching bidah publicly to
the Ummah,
we respect them and try to advise them
privately, but they refuse to change their position.
What should we do in this case?
Here, it is different.
Here, because now you have to think of
the common good.
If this
scholar
is spreading corruption and misleading the people,
and he was a broach
and Nusihan was giving,
but he insists
in spreading this guidance,
then
people should be warned against,
because this is for the sake of the
deal.
The guy
is spoiling the deal.
It is now the duty
of the and the citizens of Nawi to
tell the truth
and to refute
his mistakes.
No need to mention his name.
If there's no benefit
there's no benefit, no need to mention the
name. But the things that he is teaching
can be refuted
1 by 1.
This is wrong. Whoever whoever says this is
mistaking. This is wrong because you have also
to take into consideration
his followers.
They have this attachment,
emotional
attachment with the.
So if you start attacking him directly by
name and using,
the harsh or, vulgar language,
people will not listen to you.
And they will see their ears and they
will not listen,
which means
failure in our part.
We failed to pass the message.
But if we are rebooting the thoughts and
the ideas,
whoever says this, this is wrong. May Allah
guide him. May Allah show him the straight
route.
This is wrong because of the following, and
then we give the right,
the the right saying, the right thing about,
about this matter
from the guitar and sunnah.
Is this clear to the questioner?
Nam Shaikh, it's very clear.
Often the case, their husbands, especially who can
speak Arabic as their mother tongue,
are very condescending
on them and even their children saying things
like,
the wife doesn't need to spend time on
other Islamic courses, but only need to know
how to obey the husband
and children
needs to only learn how to obey and
respect the father.
Meanwhile,
the husband can shout and treat them harshly,
but they cannot respond or object or defend
themselves.
What is your advice,
how to address the husband to learn about
deen and manners of our beloved prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam?
First of all,
I ask
Allah to guide those brothers
and
to bless them with good manners
and good character.
Secondly,
sabr. My advice for my sisters, the sabr.
Life is a test.
So this is
a trial. This is a test from Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So sabr
gives us the
the strength to continue
when we realize and view it that, okay,
this is,
a test from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
checking my faith, checking my iman, checking my
certainty, checking my
seriousness
about the deed
so I will just always return to my
lord.
Trying to have always shed your tears.
Don't shed the tears to others. Shed your
tears on your prayer mat.
Shed your tears on your prayer mat
before your lord.
Get up at night, raise your hand, and
cry to Allah to guide your husband
And your husband,
is a Muslim.
It's not shaytam.
And don't lose hope.
And Allah will guide him.
Make the dua for your husband. Make dua
for your children.
Regarding
seeking the ill,
first of all, you have to take care
of your children.
This is your duty.
Take care of your kids.
That's why you need to organize your day.
Sit down. Sit down
and
make a table.
Calculate
from this time to this time, from this
time to this time,
and you'll find slots.
You can't learn. You see, I tell you
now, You can memorize the Quran while you
are cooking in the kitchen. Put your headphones,
and you are learning,
memorizing the Quran.
You can now, alhamdulillah,
everything is there. You can download it, and
you can hear it.
You have a scholar with you all the
time.
And you can write to them and send
an email if things are not clear to
you.
So there are many ways, my dear brothers
and sisters,
to learn our deed.
It's not difficult.
This era now in which we are, this
time,
no excuse for anyone not to learn his
deed.
The chef comes to you.
There are courses that, humdulillah,
universal courses
as if you are there in the young
Esquivea,
As if you are inside the adult.
You hear? You come there?
So but we need to
organize ourselves
and sort out our our priorities,
which one comes first.
So your husband,
if he sees
you are doing your the daily chores, you
are taking care of yourself, you are taking
care of your kids,
taking care of yourself as a wife, taking
care of your husband as a husband,
you start to
ease up.
He'll be shocked with you.
But you say,
There is a course there. I have to
go and attend and register.
You know, stay at home.
Don't go.
You have to take care of your kids.
You have to take care of your children.
So
my advice to the system, you have to
be smart.
A woman should know how to study her
husband and how to deal with her husband.
She should know his mentality, the way he
thinks.
The husband this is nature of man.
He doesn't like his wife to tell him
you don't know,
or I know better than you, or you
are ignorant.
Always give him the other hand.
Oh, my husband, you know,
you know, I am a revert. I don't
know Arabic. You are.
This is your deen. This is in your
tongue.
You are an Arab
Your prophet is an Arab. That's a have
an Arab.
Listen.
Can you explain this to me, my husband?
And see.
And always come with the new techniques.
If this technique didn't work, think of another
one. May Allah guide all of us, and
may Allah
make all the Muslims'
families having
happy marital relationship.
Mean. Is this clear to the question?
Yeah. I'm Sheykh.
Another question.
Sheykh, please, I need your advice. I keep
having thoughts about death,
and this makes me have panic attacks and
depresses
me,
because it keeps saying, what if it is
now? Alhamdulillah, it makes me avoid sin and
makes me closer to Allah.
What I am confused about is the negative
feeling that is attached
when the thought comes.
Please advise me, Sheikh. I've been feeling this
way for the last 3 years.
You
see, the prophet
is the one who is asking us to
keep remembering death all the time.
So,
May Allah bless you, sister or brother, if
you are always thinking of death.
The problem that many of us, we don't
think of death
until death overtakes us.
So remembering death all the time
is a good sign.
But this remembrance of death has to be
positive,
giving you positive energy.
This positive energy will
like what?
You know, life is short.
I better
utilize my time.
I should not think about this
transient life, worldly life.
I have this amount of money. Why should
I
spend it, by going to the salon
to the beautician.
I can give it for charity.
I have to make business with Allah
because you are thinking of the.
The prophet said,
if you want to concentrate in your salah,
let's go remote.
Remember,
death in your salah,
this will make you have in your in
your plan.
Suddenly,
consider this prayer to be your last, sir,
on this world.
So the remembrance of death, actually,
it motivates
us towards righteousness.
It gives us the strength to move forward
because it is a fact. We cannot hide
it.
Anytime anytime
death can come.
It is a fact.
Don't you know, my dear brothers and sisters,
that we die every night?
Every night we die.
Every night Allah takes our souls.
You
you you remember you you know that Dua,
oh Allah, I put my body down.
I put my plaque on the bed in
your name,
and I raise it in your name.
And if you catch my soul,
show all your mercy in a bit on
it.
And if you return it,
shower mercy on it also.
So every night,
There is a man at death. So every
night, our text missiles
some souls, he takes them and they don't
come
back. And they are medicated.
People are
waking you up in the morning and they
find you dead.
His wife doesn't know that he died,
and he's next to her. The soul didn't
come back.
And some souls, they come back.
That's why the moment you open your eyes,
my dear brothers and sisters, what do you
say?
What do you
say? All praises due to Allah. And let
the
who gave us life
by the
after we were dead.
Yes. We were dead, but it is minor
death.
The soul did not leave the body totally.
So death is part of of it should
be part of our thinking.
Always
should be there,
but it should give us this positive energy
that which don't waste. It should make us
refrain from sinning
and staying away from,
disobeying Allah
I hope this is clear to the question.
Clear, Sheikh.
Brothers and sisters, we are reaching our time
for the end of today's session and it
is late where Sheikh is. We must allow
him to rest. Maybe we'll take the last
question, insha'Allah.
Before I
read the last question, I'd like to remind
all the brothers and sisters,
these sessions happen every Monday
from 6 PM to 8 PM UK time.
And alhamdulillah, today we've gone through
a brief
introduction of a wide, wide subject as the
Sheikh mentioned.
Before we go into the actual text,
which we will slowly go into inshallah.
Friday, we will have another session.
I remind everybody to please make sure that
you are fully committed to this. This is
not a one off iman boosting talk. This
is inshallah,
a topic, a subject, a subject, a subject,
a
a subject,
a course which you will be completing based
on a text.
So Friday, we will be here on the
same link again,
6 pm, inshallah.
Same link, everything same, but 6 pm on
Friday. Invite others, inshallah. And, again, we will
be here on the same link again, 6
pm, inshallah. Same link, everything same, but 6
pm on Friday. Invite others, inshallah. And, pm
on Friday.
Invite others inshallah
and get the reward for that.
I will then now read the final question
and then we will end inshallah with the
conclusion. Sheikh, I read a from Islam QA.
Sheikh,
I read a fatwa from Islam QA
and it said that if a woman inserts
a piece of clothing to check if she
got her menses,
is it blameworthy? I do that because I
have irregular menses.
If I do that, should I make up
my missed prayers?
If she has set a piece of cloth,
she is blameworthy?
She is asking if she is blameworthy.
No. She is not blameworthy.
She is not.
Because the, the women
at the time of
the wife of the Sahara,
they would, send pieces of cottons
asking
her, soaked with the the fluid.
A woman would send piece of cotton to
Aisha asking, Aisha, this is the color. Can
I pray? Aisha is the is
the. So she used to tell them,
don't rush until you see the white sign,
the white sign, which is the white liquid.
That is the sign that you are clean.
Before seeing that,
you are still in the,
in the state of or.
So there's no harm with that. You are
checking yourself, are you clean or not yet?
So when you see alfalfa,
the sign,
the white sign,
then that means now you are clean. Now
you can take a shower and touch paint.
Or some
women, they become dry, totally dry. That is
the sign for them. Then she comes back
and that takes a shower and start paying.
I hope this is clear to the questioner.
It is clear.
I I believe we've come to the end
of today's session, and we don't want to
hold you,
for any longer. You are giving a lot
of time to many, platforms
time to many
platforms,
organizations, reward you and preserve you.
Will Allah is brought back beautiful sweet memories
of the golden days that we used to
have. Alhamdulillah.
We're
really, really honored and we thank you Sheikh
for
this commitment.
And we thank all the brothers and sisters
for joining us,
for today's session, inshallah. Hopefully, we'll be committed
and long
term students.
Sheikh,
this is your class, if you'd like to
conclude.
My dear brothers and sisters.
Yes. We need to have
a
and
the written knowledge I have, I will share
with you. And may Allah put
the in this written knowledge. We'll share
it over a period of time. You will
see the difference.
But the most important thing, my dear brothers
and sisters, we need to have the the
sincerity,
and the dedication
that we are really serious, and
Allah knows our intention,
and he will reward us according to our
intentions.
I leave you in Allah's company. May Allah
preserve you, protect you you and your families
and your children.
Till we meet.
