For a few minutes, I just wanna

The title of the book is Good Without

God? Meaning that can we live without religion?
Can we live without having God in our
life? Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Imagine
after all the that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
showing us, now someone is asking this question
or even saying a statement.
Right? So
is it good without God? And I was
like, you know what? Let me let me
actually rephrase it, and instead of giving us
a statement, I'm gonna be a that's
good to be is it good without God?
Can we live without deen?
Is it possible?
And this is very tricky question.
A lot of people have this question in
their mind without even realizing.

Hey. Can I just be a good person?
I can just be a good person. Why
do I need need dean in my life?
Why do I need to pray? Can I
just be a good decent human being, a
pride human being? Can I do that? Right?
Don't you see a lot of, you know,
a lot of coworkers, a lot of classmates,
a lot of friends, they're, you know, they're
not Muslims and don't even have any deen
or any belief, but they're they're

nice people.
They're decent people.
Yeah. And that's why I said this is
a very tricky question. A lot of people
they, you know, they're they're really good confused.
Why do I need deen if you have
these people and then,
it's, you know, it's it's working.

And a lot of Muslims, and the this
is one of the biggest trap from the
traps of Shaitan that I could tell you.
A lot of
Muslims, they, they think because they're good, you
know, like I have a good heart. I
have clean heart. I have white heart. I
can do whatever I want to done. Right?
I don't need to pray. Oh, brother, why
don't you pray? Sheikh, listen. Don't judge me.
That's the first thing. I don't know why.
It's up with don't judge me. I'm not
judging you. I'm just trying, hamdulillah, to improve
myself and prove you with me inshallah. To
make dawah. There's no judgement here. We love
each other for the sake of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala.

me. You know, Allah knows what is my
heart. My heart is clean. My heart is

are the least God believing.

and most peaceful
countries in the world are the ones that
don't believe in God.
The opposite is true.
You see what's happening here? They say that
they are
the nations who are basically they're more religious.
They're more religious while
the least safe and peaceful nations are the
most religious ones. So when our youngsters hear
something like that, they get confused. Yeah. That
makes sense. Look at people in Denmark. People
in Denmark are very happy. They say that's
one of the the best, you know, social
life in there. Okay?
Look at the United States. I mean, United
States actually is a little different, but look
at European countries. Look at those countries. Right?
And look at Pakistan. Look at Egypt. Look
at Syria. Look at Iraq. Look at this.
Look at that. Right? And they get confused.
Why do you need religion? Religion just divide
dividing us. Can we just be good good
people?
Can we live without God? That's that's what
the guy is saying. So we can live
as humans.

let me tell you something.
To find someone who doesn't believe in Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala and and actually this in
a pariah to human being, this is not
a mystery. It's not a riddle.
It's not a mystery. You know why? Because
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala already told us in
Quran there is something called fitra.
Fitra
Okay. There is another verse in the Quran
which Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
Right? Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala said,
The next that Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala fashioned.
And he says, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala then with
the knowledge of right and wrong inspired in
it.
So Allah created us and Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala he tells us that we are inherently
good. We're not evil.
It's just the environment that changes. So when
you find someone who doesn't believe in Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala and he's good and he's
decent and she's decent, don't be surprised because
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala create us this way,
but doesn't mean that they don't know they
do not need religion.
Okay? But back to the
the the statistic that I just mentioned to
you because I don't want to confuse you.
This topic doesn't need Tim minutes,
it needs a lot of lectures. So I
don't want to confuse our youngsters.
When they say the most religious countries,
name a country in the world that you
can say this country actually implement and apply
Islam as the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam want
us to apply. Which country is that?
Name a country. With all my due respect.

It's all culture Islam whether in, you know,
Egypt, whether in Pakistan, whether anywhere
where they claim they're Muslims. Right?
Yeah. And there is another tricky part in
here. Why they always compare
the religious ones,
you know, like the particularly the Muslims and
the non religious ones, and they forget about
some countries they don't have faith
at all. They don't believe in God, but
they have a lot of corruption as well.
The continuous is that. They don't believe also.
Some, you know, Latin Americans or some African
countries, they don't have faith or anything like
this. They don't have religion, but they also
have a lot of corruptions.
Yeah. So it's not about the deen versus
non non deen here. Alright. It's about how
you implement the deen. If we implement and
apply the deen of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
we rule the whole world.
We have beautiful life.
We have a lot of blessings as communities.
The people are actually envious. They're jealous. When
they see a community like this,
which faith,
which community
can come for salat al fajr like this?

If that's the case, why people still need
religion?

what the reason why we cannot live without
God and cannot live without religion because this
is this is a part of our nature.

and and water to us. We cannot live
without religion.

have a belief that there is no belief.
So they believe in something.

in something.
I believe that Allah does exist. He believes
that Allah does not exist. You know what
I'm trying to say? So faith is part
of our deen. And Ikhwan, let me tell
you this. If someone claims to be an
atheist, doesn't believe in God, you will never
know the truth until the angel of death
comes.

When when your son tells you when your
daughter says, I don't believe in God anymore,
don't worry. You know why? I mean, of
course you'll be worried and you'll try to
fix that. Yeah.
This is called a short temporary
memory loss.
If someone says there's no God, I don't
believe in God anymore. Although they used to
come to the masjid with you.
Yeah. This is a short temporary loss. They
just maybe
forgot about Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, but Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is in their heart. Don't
you see when you hear when the plane
crash, you see everybody say, well, oh God.
Oh God. God save us. Oh God save
us. Now God comes into the picture again.
You know? Subhanallah.
That's reality. So reason number 1 why we
need religion because
it's part of our nature. You cannot live
without
belief.
Alright? And of course in our case, you
cannot believe the deen of Islam without the
deen of Islam.
Alright? So this is the first reason why
we need God in
our,
in our, hearts, in our life.
There is a psychologist by the name of
Steven Rice, Rice. He basically, he started
human motivation for more than 20 years,
and he was talking about the things that
attract,
human,
you know why religion attracts humans
or mankind. What's the reason for that? He
said because people follow religion because,
it satisfies
all of 16 basic desires
that human share.
There's 16 basic desires. You know, respect, love,
community, all of the things that we desire.
Only religion can satisfy that.
Okay? If you don't have religion, you will
not get all of this satisfied.
Alright? So you reason number 2, I'm just
going really fast. Reason number 2, why do
we need Allah in our life? Why we
need religion? Because the Alkani religion
is the only source that can answer
the 3 most important questions.
And nobody can tell me what are the
3 the the top three most important question
in anybody's life. Yes.
What is the purpose of life? That's very
good.
We call it a lasilal.
Who am I? Who created me?
Okay. Who created me? Alright. The second

2nd question, why did he create me?
And the question number 3, what is going
to happen after that? These are the 3
we call it. Okay?

only religion can answer these questions, particularly the
religion of Islam. I have some for you

if you do not have a belief or
religion you will be like this, Lebanese
poet.
He says, I want you to hear this,
you know, for SubhanAllah, Ajib. He says,
I came,
I know not from where but I came.
I saw before me a path
so I followed it
and I shall continue to treat this path
whether I like it or not.
Where did I come from? How did I
find this path?
Am I new or ancient in this universe?
Am I free or a pensioner in chain?
Am I controlling my own fate in this
life or am I controlled?
How I wish I knew
but I know not.
Do not be like those who forgotten about
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Allah made them forget
their own selves like this guy.
Right?
Who
created us? Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala told us
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala created us.
Clear.
Why?
Except to worship me. Not just for salah,
your work.
Okay. Your family. Anything higher you do. This
is worship to Allah Allah with the right
niyyah. That's why we're here. What's going to
happen after that? Go Let's go to Surat
al muminun. After Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala spoke
about the and the creation of, human beings.
Yeah. Mankind. How he created us. He said,
After that, you will die.
Then on the day of judgement he will
be resurrected again.

Do you think we just created you for
no purpose and no reason and that you're
not returned back to us?
So only the deen can give you the
answer to this question.
Ask someone who doesn't believe in Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala. Ask these questions.
Where did you come from?
I don't know.
What is the purpose?
Just to live. What is gonna happen after
that?
Nothing? I was just gonna die and that's
it. Maybe I'll turn into a monkey again
or something. I don't know.
Right?
You don't know. You cannot. But the deen
gives you these answers.
Clear answers.
We have we need the deen. And Khwaniyah
just mentioned 2 points. There are 2 or
3 or 4 actually more points but inshallah,
if Allah
allows inshallah me to come again inshallah,
then we can continue with this topic.
But I wanted to just share this that
we cannot live without God.
We cannot live without Allah
We cannot live without the deen of Islam.
