Salah Mahmoud – Get Out & Vote Arabic

			As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
		

			We welcome the brothers and sisters of the
		

			Arab community in Frisco.
		

			Your brother in Allah, Sheikh Salah Mahmoud Ibn
		

			Frisco.
		

			And I invite you, God willing, to raise
		

			your voices in the elections.
		

			The elections are very important, my brothers.
		

			Allah, the Exalted, says in Surah Al-Baqarah,
		

			And do not conceal the testimony, and whoever
		

			conceals it, indeed, he is a sinner of
		

			the heart.
		

			Do not conceal the testimony.
		

			Your voice is a testimony to Allah, the
		

			Exalted.
		

			When we come before Allah on the Day
		

			of Resurrection, we will say, They said to
		

			their Lord, O Allah, we tried as much
		

			as we could to change.
		

			So, God willing, my brothers, the early voting
		

			started.
		

			Alhamdulillah, it started.
		

			And of course, on the 5th of November,
		

			this is the most important day, God willing.
		

			So we ask the brothers to raise their
		

			voices.
		

			Choose whoever you want, God willing.
		

			No one will force you to choose a
		

			candidate by eye.
		

			But we focus, especially on the local elections.
		

			And of course, they take decisions on our
		

			behalf.
		

			So we must also have respect for the
		

			local elections.
		

			We ask Allah, the Exalted, to guide our
		

			affairs to the Lord of the worlds, to
		

			unify our hearts.
		

			Allahumma Ameen.
